"Very cut to the point. There's no beating around the nation laptop. This is a collaboration with one of your longtime collaborators. Tavist Crow and the ubiquitous producer Jack Antonoff. What's the story behind? Want you in my room. Kim Jack is that we both come using really playful manner so we sort of like kids like we danced the SAMBA. We don't just like sit down and write it really shouting things across the room becomes really playful. Ben and making he just said sort of like. I want you in my room. I feel safe enough to be that outrageously but he created space. When you feel very comfortable do think verse idea again will serve something like that. I think the pre was something that I started with. Tavist awhile before I can do that. I kind of collect ideas. Mel kind of trade them in when. I feel like they belong a different space for a new project in the so. This was like an old idea used. Basically you're saying like the song was sort of Frankenstein together from different elements like one idea for the versus another for the pre chorus. Yeah right a lot that way but I think the heart of the song together with like Jack in the row. Yeah I think that was just the preview that I stole from another idea that I'd tavist while writing on the road together. Listen to the first verse..

"This is a mytalk dirt alert update, a quick look at what's happening in entertainment. On mytalk mytalk tell me something. Good. Well, Alec Baldwin showed up to court today after that little dust up that he had over a parking spot in New York City, the attorney for Baldwin did all the talking however as elegant stood silent during a hearing when he was arraigned on misdemeanor and violation level charges Baldwin's breasted back on November second for allegedly punching or slapping a man in a dispute over a parking spot. Baldwin's attorney denies that. His client did anything wrong and in court Baldwin's attorney said Mr. Baldwin the public figure whose reputation has been damaged by media reports that claim he punched a man under New York City streets. I I the thing. I find most amazing about that entire story were the following words. Yes. Mr. Baldwin was fired. I I like how how did they manage that? I have no idea. Yes. So that's it's funny. I really was just wondering what had happened after all of that. Because we hadn't heard much after that incident. Occurred. And so that is I thank you for that. You're welcome. Big celebrity profile published today would be Lena Dunham in the cut which is the New York magazine style section they publish this actually yesterday. And she's opening up about lots of things. It's actually really great profile and one of the things that Lena Dunham is talking about is that she hasn't talked to Lord since she broke up with her boyfriend, Jack antonoff rumors were that Jack antonoff in Lord were hooking up behind Lena Dunham back, and well, if you were to read the profile, she might have some kind of hard feelings against Lord interesting. Boy that is although she does say that I don't think anything happened between them. She said, I never could know someone else's life. Boy, I, you know, I really want to dig into that for a couple of reasons I wanna read that before a form a huge opinion. Because what I find interesting is. He would not talk to Lord after she may or may not have theft out behind her back with her boyfriend. But she has maintained allegedly a friendship with Jack antonoff. Yeah. She says that she remains very close to Jack antonoff.

"But I liked Hines. Also, he is definitely someone who seems to enjoy being the background a little bit more than being in the foreground. Yeah. I mean, I think Jack antonoff just seems like he's never been told. Like, it's okay to not. Yeah. That's yeah. That's all it is. It's like you think that's a disease like a lot of our generation has I'm leaving now. It's misguided to only focus on him. I'm so sorry. Jackie Meghan is just on a dare. I don't hate Jack antonoff. I just I. Was just like I just want. You to watch yourself you speak about your work. And I also want people who write about those artists to like just paying where you aware of like watch themselves. Yes, every everybody everyone, watch them. So I can just take care of your shit. I'm going to read something that you wrote his so in her piece Hazel road. That's traditionally how it's worked the history of pop music made by women, but produced by men is often one of ratio women, maybe the stars of their music their names alone list on their songs, but the men who write produce or mix for them, even as a clever -ation are seen as puppeteers guide them. And in the worst case in gullies, Phil spector to the run nets max Martin to Britney Spears timberland to Eliya, Dr Luke Takashi. It is interesting too that there aren't a lot. Of female producers working. I mean, it's probably because of opportunity I would guess and because of talent you can do like as far as a music standpoint. Right. It's like another one of those things that could probably be somewhat fixed or at least offset by bringing more diverse voices into the production room. And you know. Yeah. Music would get more interesting. Yeah. I also think women are maybe moving to self produce more. Like, I think you know, certainly salons is a good example who I think when she went to do seat at the table, she learned from how Deb Heinz was treated on true. And kind of took over the reins a little more fun. -plicitly a seat at the soundboard. Sure. Seat at the table literally in studio. With the what's it called mixing board lighters. I mean, there are women. Producers just they're not getting invited into those rooms the same way men are especially like the top tier right? Like pop music. Yeah. And that's the thing too. It's like Jack antonoff is continually positioned as like a different kind of producer, right and soft. I feel like he's just like the other guy. Same shit, a different codes just likes to talk about working with women. Yeah. Homeboy it's fun to dissect another world that is mostly controlled by. I could do my whole life. And we probably will we probably won't until he died Hazel. Do you have any final thoughts that you would like to share? Just that fifth harmony song dope, which was not on the album. But was a bonus track that Jack antonoff produced his a very good song. Thank you his. Thank you very much. Thank you so much for that. Great good to know. I also agree that the Taylor swift song you mentioned in your article wish she would is underrated. Yeah. So good job on that at aren't engage with be quieter interview yet, Jack, but Hazel, thank you so much for joining us. Thank you. We love to have you. Thank you so much for listening to cast. "And then, of course, like turning Lord. There was the whole thing. Where like I mean, if anybody actually went and saw them at a the Barclay center when Lord yes, they were stupid. Alleged alleged allegedly. They like you got some really put like you got some like ship vibes. They really tell us is the word allegedly. So it's like allegedly they sang a cover of Saint Vincent's, New York. And like there were sitting so close at their knees were touching staring at each other needs during a piano time song another thing too. It's like can't he recognize that? That's like a little weird. I did kind of love when she was like, everybody, New York native. And then like you like who's gonna be like you. There's like check. Let's everyone knows szeswith low New Jersey. Yes. Sort of dislike this is the Brooklyn. I don't know. I think it was like he grew. He grew up ten blocks from here. Like, you think it's going to be someone? That's actually like from New York like and nine can Jack aunts and Lena Dunham ex jersey. Yeah. And then at one point he tried to like diss Lord by saying L eats Bodega sushi, and it was just like an in joke. Oh, like a thing between like a like, clearly she like while they were working like got sushi from the Bodega this man, really really fucking bothers me. I just think it's very it was just like one of those things where I was just like oh my God. What are we watching? Actually had my hands on my face. I mean, that's just stuff that is not for the eyes of the public. I do think like, you know, like romantic rumors aside like I do think he cultivates this kind of like illegally slumber party. Yeah. Like by the recording studio. Nice. So we're close, we're friends John. I'm like, then why do I feel like when people talk about the music that these women make like you're just always there lurking in the corner yellow sort of brings the light of like how much credit should he get you know, in that? It's like definitely some. No, of course. Yeah. Get credit. He has like a touch for sure. For like making pop music, right? Yeah. Like, I don't wanna like entirely blame him for this. Because it's like, yeah. He's like a talented person who's not entirely undeserving attention accolades, but also he upsets me on a personal. He like a cellular level where it's like, I think if you want to be like a hashtag feminist ally. When I do not all producers want to be that that's true. And he's clearly someone who wants to be that. Right. As he talks about how much he loves women work in with him in interviews. And I think if you want that they need to be aware of your voice and how bright the spotlight is on your contributions. I also truly do not. I'm not implicating Jack antonoff in this. I don't be very very clear ready. Okay. This this whole. This is not even at all about him. Oh, I'm still raced impact. But it's like I do have this thing with like outspoken male feminists where I'm just like. Oh, yeah. Give it to months and there's going to be ten rape allegations against him. And usually, I'm right? But again, I have never heard anything like that about Jack antonoff. I am someone who tighter. I'm not an insider, but I am a bit of a a various from thrown to collect a whisper master. It's that thing where it's like when someone is so vocally like a male feminist and support of women. There's always a catch it is sort of like a rock and a hard place situation because I think about sometimes with women's rights. I'm like, why are women the only ones fighting for this one being vocal about door. And then it's like you have someone, but then Jack antonoff, and and he isn't necessarily talking about women's rights. But he's talking about like uplifting women, and then that's irritating..

"No, Jack antonoff is the real reason why melodrama so good or like Jack antonoff got the New Yorker festival slot. Lana. Del Rey, just came. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's stuff like that. So he's just kind of gotten on my nerves and the narrative around him has gotten on my nerves. So that's kind of where this piece came from. I feel like we cannot talk about Jack antonoff without mentioning that he lived at home well into his late twenties and then seven recreated his childhood bedroom in his Tourbus. Yeah. Into on poor which is very like it's kind of a premature exercise in like myth making yet. Yeah. Right. Yeah. It's a little early for a myth to be made about I think also it is kind of funny. How he think about how we tend to live. And like nostalgia is is that a word. I don't know if people know what I'm trying to say they do that. It's like the way we do this that I can see how that will one day become just like a fascinating quirk as opposed to just like a door. Kiosk quality is how it is now. Yes. But I like some Jack antonoff produce songs. No, I do too. And I mentioned that in my piece like I do like a lot of his production. And obviously the artists that he works with. But I just don't like how the media kind of centers him like, you know, Lana. Del Rey recently performed a song at like one of the apple events. I don't know. Like a keynote keynote where they reveal a thing. And it was a song that she, you know, made with Jack antonoff, and it was confusing to me because it's a lawn. Del Rey song. Aung that he helped produce. But like why does he even need to be there? Right. He was literally just a producer. You mentioned this in your piece where it's like the song green light of the Lord song, which was really fun. Great song. I feel like the first thing that happened. It was like one he's in the music video just like playing piano. But also Surrey everyone. I know is like, oh, yeah. There's the Jack antonoff bridge. Like, everyone is it is. And I get that. It is a recognizable song. But I also love Lord. Yeah. I just wanna talk about Lord. I don't know. It just seems kind of like, and I and I wanna respect the fact that like these women chose to work with him. Right. But I just don't think you can say in one breath that you love supporting women you love giving women the center stage in the recording studio, and then also continually appear in their music, videos, and SNL performances and give interviews about how involved you were in the process. Right. And I just don't know if you can have both things which is you know, I think what I was trying to get it in this piece is like no matter how much of a good guy, you say, you are or how much of an ally you present yourself to be the title of being a male producer, so loaded. Yeah. And you can talk talk talk about. Like how many choices Lord made? But if you want to be a part of that conversation about how album was made as opposed to say like max Martin who is a very famous Swedish producer who worked with every popstar ever who like doesn't give any press. Right. People are going to refer to you. As the reason for these artists success, right? And yeah, I mean, and it's not entirely jackass knows fault. It's sort of like also the way that our culture. Yeah. Or for even the accomplishments of women, I mean, yeah. Manny what you were saying about the sort of like the Jack antonoff bridge. I mean, I think he's taking a page out of Phil Spector's label. Playbook. I did not mean to imply that Jack antonoff murders somebody. Well, but it is interesting. Not speaking of murder, meaning of implications. Sure. How he is like rumored to had relationships with a lot of the women. He works like he's supposedly dating on Delray. Maybe I didn't even know. I mean that again, it's it's very much alleged a whisper..

"Sitting in our studio is the littlest which. Our dear friend, Hazel sills. Who's here to talk about her article about Jack antonoff and kind of the role of the male producer? And the way that milk producers oftentimes overshadow the female artists that they're working when Hello Hazel high. So his all you wrote this piece called Jack antonoff in the unrelenting shadow of the male producer. And I know that you had been thinking about writing this for a while. Why had this been something you've been thinking about? Yeah. I've been thinking about it because Jack antonoff who's an artist in his own, right? He does work as bleachers. And he was in that band fun. Period, his work as a producer, and a songwriter has kind of been getting more high profile over the past few years. He's worked with Taylor swift and Carly Rae jepsen, and he co produced in co wrote lords melodrama and now he's working with Lana. Del Rey, and maybe the Dixie chicks. And yeah. Yeah. They were he like they posted. Instagram's of each other in the studio, this is news Meghan hit. Lots of stuff is news to me. And one of us read your articles. I. Last week. Okay. You know, what Kerry on missiles he has been doing a lot of press for his work with other artists. And he's always struck me. In interviews. He just loves to talk about how much he works with women and how much he work with women when he thinks about the songs he wants to right? He doesn't think about them in a men's voice. He thinks about them. You know, women singing them hard to imagine someone who dated Lena Dunham, not being able to shut the fuck up about their world view. Perfectly suited. I think that's exactly it is. He really can't kinda shut up about it all of his collaborations with women. And then that's kind of led to a lot of press and media coverage of him as this kind of like the secret sauce to rail of these women and their success right additions. So he is just kind of this producer who I think has earned the reputation for kind of being like, a nice guy producer who helps women. You know, be the best they can be. And then he gets all these profiles where it's like..

Yeah, I think the whole thing and even to compare it to the godfather, which by the way, let's godfather dose. Jill thanks is a little bit crazy because have you seen the movie? No, okay. All of the rest of the stuff in this review. I was like, okay. I could see how some of this could be subject to interpretation. Yeah. And like a gun out of context. I don't know. There is no way you can contextualized that story beyond just being horrible be. Yeah. Exactly. Good stuff. I did love the first couple of seasons of transparent. I thought it was such a good show. I watched whatever season. It was it ended with Jews light singing. Yeah. That was a third third season that to do the place late singing, destroyed me amazing. So I get like the disappointment. Like, oh, this show's different. But also suck it up. If you're like, so creative other show. I'll creator figure it out. This is a nice little thing that happened over the weekend. Rebel Wilson is. Starring Abram Antic comedy called, isn't it? Pantic? She has claimed that she was the first ever plus size girl to be the starve romantic comedy. She made this claim on Ellen where everyone makes all of their where I would like to go to make many claims and Instagram another place where people love to claim things. Lots of people were like, hey, ma'am. That's not true Queen Latifah and Monique have been romantic comedies like Steph. I. And so a little movie called show. Okay. Alrighty. Thank you for your c. I was wondering you are waited to sit in that. So a lot of people were like, all right? Guess what? That's not true. Here's some examples examples that were presented were the last holiday which starred Queen Latifah in two thousand six and Monique was movie called girls, which also came two thousand six but rebel will sit him. Oh, Neath got until like a conversation on Twitter. Here's what rebel listen said said. Hey, girl. Yep. Yeah. Of course, no of these movies, but it was questionable as to whether one technically those actresses were plus size while filming those movies or to technically those films are categorized slash billed as a studio rom com with the sole lead. So there's a slight gray area. I will say I did think when I think of Queen Latifah in just right? I would see her as being like technically plus sized. But not fat. Right. So I could see that being like actually kind of a greater right? That's me. Splitting hairs far be it from me to tell anybody. What to do though? I do love to do it. It's usually best in these situations. I think if someone is like, hey, maybe you're wrong. You know, just to be like, oh, hey, maybe I am wrong. Yeah. It's like when superman. Like the first gay person. And like two one eighty five people were like excuse me. Directed milk was flu. Everybody needs to think for twenty to sixty seconds before they say words out loud. I mean, I could see like saying that off the cuff, but then. Oh, whoops. I was wrong. That's true. Those movies. Another thing I saw on Twitter. This was Rebecca Carroll who you should follow. She's very smart shifts. She was noting the similarities between this and the Amy Schumer movie. I feel pretty. They're both about white women who hit their heads and then wake up in a world where everybody's attracted to them..

"The way that the song is feels very like motivational to me is also she turns out great. Yes. Yes. Fine. I mean, most of these break-up songs the person singing is usually like OB. Okay. I'm fine. I do find some of the Taylor swift allusions. Yeah. To just to be so funny because it does seems really out of character for the person. She's singing about. Hi, I, you know, I know very little about her catalog because I she's also on your list. My my list is material changes every day. I don't know. There's a lot of songs about like Harry styles. And it's all like. Ooh boy. And I'm just I think he's just like, dude. I mean, he's a smoking. Hot dude smoke. It's true. And like she got like a d'appel gang to play him in the trouble video. Although I don't think that song about him into the woods out of the song about him about their snowmobile accident or whatever. Oh, oh, yeah. Okay. All of country music is breakup song murder ballads, like crazy ex girlfriend. Miranda Lambert familiar with much of Miranda's work. Well, she can get real fired up. There's a song that she does. That's also like a break-up song, but sort of reframed called mama's broken heart. Okay. Like she like cuts her own bangs because she was like to raise my with kitchen, scissors. I screamed his name till the neighbors. Call the cops. And it's written by my number one girl. Casey, moss, grapes. Oh, look at that. That's nice. I like that. It's all we have on this subject specifically, I would like to break up with this topic. I we are this topic. And we are splitting amicably parting with this topic. Let us move on. All the best. The most happiness if only. Between us and them, right, homey for six months, please respect our privacy. This time. Thank you..

"I was talking about this with people at work yesterday. And that was how it broke down. I think that McNamara also taught her patience. Yeah. Also, getting engaged after two weeks of dating is not patient. No that's fucked up. I don't think that equals patients again, Pete Davidson just strikes me as the kind of person who even from the jump. You need patience to deal with two Pete's credit change the narrative pretty quickly directed it. Because in that same bit. He was making fun of Dan Crenshaw who is a Republican congressional candidate from Texas. Yeah. Austin I in Iraq in two thousand twelve. Yeah. Along. You may be surprised to hear. He's a congressional candidate from Texas and not a hitman in a porno. We lost his I am in war or whatever. People got upset because again like he's a wounded vet. But I just want to say he also is anti choice pro gun pro wall and anti-gay on the grounds of religious belief. So I don't give a fuck. Yep. One thing. I thought we could talk about. Yes, in this realm is like what our favorite or maybe just notable break-up songs are sung that. I listened to a lot that I know's the break-up song. And I just I think it's a good. It's a good song. That has a message that I enjoy is. It's not right. But it's okay. Because it really applies to so many things aside from like some idiot cheating on you or whatever many things in this life are not right. But I'm definitely about cheating yet because there's like a line ended about like the receipts. Yeah. Yeah. That's Whitney Houston. Yeah. To be clear to be all of our listeners. All Taylor swift of courses, like the Queen of writing about breakups, we're never ever ever getting back together is about Jake Jilin hall, all I don't know. know..

"Speaking like, someone who has been therapy for a minute. And then I think she's confirmed that like after the break up she had been she said that she's been in therapy the whole time. Yes, she was like, actually like therapy is saved my life yet. Right. Where's that petty? I think thank you next is petty in its title. But then that's it the title. Yeah. That's it. I guess it's not necessarily petty too. Like, thank all of your Xs for letting you realize that you are that you could be like, the you that you needed to be your whole life, or whatever it's motivational. But I do think that unsung level. I think there's like a nibble in there somewhere. I mean, it sounds like she's like processes or she is in the process. She's in the process of processing her break up and like moving forward and trying to fucking go on the tour, which I stupidly did not buy tickets for. But now will find on stubhub Pete Davidson also address the break-up on weekend update on live. I will say is. I know Oh, so so. if you accuse about the break-up, but the truth is it's nobody's business since one. And sometimes things just don't work out. And that's okay. She's a wonderful strong person. And I genuinely wish are all the happiness in the world. Now, please go vote on Tuesday. I felt like that song in that statement are kind of in line where it's just like fairly respectful, right? But I mean, Pete again from what I can see and the only I've been thinking about this lot because I'm probably gonna write about it for the for the end of year. Pete has been processing this in the way that I like I wouldn't expect him to do it any other way say this is no him. But I don't feel like he's been saying city things on SNL. He's just been like milking it for like content their relationship relationship, the aftermath of their relationship. Like, I would like to think this is like the ends like they've both said their piece she got like last word for sure a powerful. I mean, nothing feels as good is getting the last word if you ask me, so another thing I wanna focus. Yeah. Is of her exes, which one totter love. Patients pace one totter pain. Do you want to say what you think first? And then I'll say what I think. Yeah. I think big Sean probably taught her love K. I think that MAC Miller probably taught her pain because of you know, tragically dying does the diction throughout their relationship. I don't know enough about Ricky is that I know he was like one of her backup dancers. But like the fact that she says that she listens and laughs about her songs for Ricky to take it super seriously. I think that was like an early release like, yeah, that's my guess. And I don't know who patients is Pete Davidson one thousand percent dating Pete Davidson seems like an exhausting but occasionally rewarding undertaking. And I imagined that you would need a lot of patients to date. Pete David's were singing, a different tune few months? Go. I also think. What patients if you only last less than six months? I mean, that's not patient. That's not patients. But I do think Pete Davidson seems like the kind of person who requires a lot of fucking patients so much projects..

"Welcome back to all new episode of dirt cast. I am your co host Madeline Davies I'm your other co host Megan Reynolds, and today, we will be joined by our very own Hazel sills to talk about the looming presence of the male producer and how they oftentimes get credit for if you visions entire catalogue cool story, but before we get into that. And I just wanna say we are recording this on election day. We are. So maybe right now, you're listening, and you're in such a bad mood because things did not turn out the way you wanted them to maybe you're in a great ecstatic because things turned out pretty good. We don't know that we can do many things that we cannot tell the future which is really upsetting. So please if we sound tone deaf or like, we're not addressing something. It's because we truly don't know about it as both of us voted this morning one positive thing. I will say is my polling place was packed goes mine, and it was like people of all ages, and like, I don't know people. Really excited. Divo- is always fun. Like reminded me. It's very different, of course. But it reminded me of the first time I ever got to vote was for Barack Obama in two thousand eight first presidential. I was thinking mine is earlier them. But just like that same does like, yes. Even I'm doing my civic duty. Yeah. I've been voting for some time. Keep it up. I think I'll do my best. My polling place was also very packed. And the woman who is directing us to the scanning machines. She was like it's been like this since six AM, it was very crowded, and it was nice to see. And then it's pouring after left. You know, maybe the sky had to let out some ocean this guy, you know, it did it did how are you doing? Otherwise, the hanging in there. I have a couple of days off coming up. Do you have a plan or are you just going to do nothing? Well, one of the days I have to go to the DMV Maddie's look on her face right now, it's not what you do in a day off. And I understand it is not. But I my state ID because I don't know how to drive is expired experiment birthday. So I have to go get a new something perhaps L E bold and take a permit test. Ooh. Watch out America. If I get behind the wheel fucking car. No one should be on the road. I drove around New York City block for the first time. It's terrifying. Actually where I live is really residential as fine. Oh, yeah. No. Actually, I was very scared quite nervous. I have a driver's license. Learn how to drive in the midwest where like the roads are as wide as the plane. So I'm gonna go to the DMV and then make it a new tattoo. I make it a facial girl plants, that's it plants plants that I cannot have like unstructured time off because I'm psychotic. Yeah. How are you? I'm okay. I mentioned to you before that on the train on the way here. A woman in her. Fifties offered me her seat backed up, and it has me a little shook K only because I'm like wearing like address it's kind of sack shaped, right? So I wouldn't begrudge her for thinking that I could be pregnant. Like if she was just like I can't tell because this dresses, whatever her belly swollen from eating typhoon, leave it alone. No, it's fine. It's nice. Believe me. I'm not like feeling. Okay. All right. All right. But I just was like is that what it is. Because I had the internal debate of like is this person pregnant. Yeah. I give them I see it. And usually it's like if you really can't figure it out onto it. Sometimes what I'll do is all just get up. And then see if they take it. And then just like leave it open, you know. But if I was I would definitely be in the like, I don't know stage. So I'm not mom's not. But it was just like one of those things where I was just like hell so weird. And then an elderly man with a cane came on the show, and she didn't offer the fuck, dude. I don't know..
The Sugarbakers Might Live On: ABC Is Developing a Designing Women ‘Sequel’
"You know, what's not gonna stop the show? Designing women. The revival is coming back, and it's going to be on. KABC ABC gave a script commitment to it. Yeah. So there we go look at that designing women who John smart and your sugar Baker Dixie Carter as anti pas, delta Burke, the whole thing. So it ran from September twenty ninth nineteen Eighty-six until may twenty fourth nineteen Ninety-three and you'll all remember it centers on the lives of four women and one man working together at an Atlanta interior design firm. You know, my mom is a southerner. He's from Texas, and she's an interior designer. We had like a particular affinity for the show as a kid. She loves us other words sassy writing on in the women were so incredible. It was kind of like I remember watching that show. And I was like, okay. So that's what career women are kind of looking. Yes. Resting mean? Assertive in the dialogue was sharp and everybody loved it. And so the sequel is going to follow the next generation of sugarbakers. They're going to have a crop of new young female designers at an Atlanta interior design. Firm, but that's still kind of like dialogue bloodwork Thomasson involved in this writing. She's writing know, I think that'll be really fun. I don't have a date on that probably. But I just know that they gave a script commitment. So I'll keep you posted on if I find

To know, because, I, don't, care I mean do you want a list of No you don't you just don't wanna list and also this is so sad and pathetic for her because. She's still, she's still having this like thing He has a relationship with her ex now there's nothing wrong with, having? An actual relationship with your ex because oftentimes when you're not super big celebrities you'll move through the world. In a similar place as your ex right so it's not beyond the, realm of possibility that they will. Still, be in. Your life on some level. Although somehow I've managed to live in the same city with many axes and I never communicate with them And my life is fine but she this is like a thing for her like when she needs attention she will go. Back, to this relationship that she's. No, longer in which is sad and pathetic well and there's always. Like this pushing the narrative that they're still friends as if it gives her some sort of extra worth DC, what I mean like to say hey everybody look we're still friends, like? I hate that when people are like own so elevated that I have a really amazing relationship with my. Axe now I'm not saying it's not possible no but it's also not, necessary well there's nothing altruistic or There's nothing like Now of that thing like you are somehow like an. Elevated? Human being right. So you're, not you're, just you're, just you know you know who we get that from a little. Bit, Gwyneth Paltrow oh of, course because, she of course Yeah well she might bend over backwards. I? Don't know but. He is, in the, house whatever, happened to some good old waiting to exhale I'm gonna burn Haller. Stuff, of my ex and, walk away Maybe randomly have sex with them at some point and it happens. You're. Fine, the best sexy you'll ever have but you don't need to tweet about it but you don't need tweet. About. It, and you don't need to. Publish dumb baby, list it just to me yeah, again I sometimes I think we need to know, that it's okay to not be friends with your axe also The friends sorry is is the one that stuck out to you Nah Garrett Mr. just. Sounds, yeah Yeah Boobs Oh, man that might be what we name other humans in the near, future very alien, blue blah. Anyway so by the, way I just have decided that we need to just have a whole segment of dramatic readings of Lena Dunham streets because can I just read? You this is her pinned. Tweet this is the one that was so important to her that she is pitted the very top of. Her Twitter stream from July twenty nine Okay ready Be vulnerable be kind, work hard. But, live, oh. Soft apologize when. You're wrong everybody has the right to. Be happy, thank you. Lean Oprah Oprah also fit from fifteen. Hours, ago. Goodnight angels never let. Anyone say I don't love you. Right someday I'm going to tell you all about. That time I was leaving a doctor's office weeping after a very painful. Pelvic. Exam And I saw DJ collared. And through my tears told my father that's DJ. Collared and he said I don't care who that is getting the car Also she just said. Someday I'm gonna tell you all about the time and. Then proceeds to, tell us all about about time and for that She got. Twelve thousand wines The scariest part of moving in with someone is that they're even. There when you have diarrhea Now that's you guys can we just promise that we're going, let's. Let's. Get to your debate Bradley and then maybe we can do something with Lena Dunham tweets okay Who's your debate today that moment when you. Go. From just three bites to bleep it our he desert we're going to save this because we're going to get to this. A little bit later. In the show okay so I would? Like to now tell you that my d. bag has a name and her name is Gwen of. Paltrow I think she's been on the d. bag list more we should really be keeping track she's been on, the, list longer. And more frequently I think than Lena Dunham probably here's the headline for why Gwyneth Paltrow is my d.. Bag. For the day if you're just joining us on the Colleen burly show hanging Gwyneth Paltrow forgot her credit card while shopping So what what what does that headline indicate to you That she doesn't remember her wallet, sometimes? Or. That she forgot her credit card while shopping right yeah. So. I, saw that headline. And I, thought, to myself okay well tell me more Sure exactly Story oh, but wait there's not more even Gwyneth Paltrow occasionally commits a faux pas says this. Article, writer Siegler we hear. The goop got us risked embarrassment this weekend in the Hamptons when she forgot to bring her credit card while shopping a source tells, us, Paltrow was at the high end blue and cream in east Hampton with her fourteen. Year old daughter, apple when she realized she didn't have a way. To, pay no. Says a witness quote she was mortified but you know how the crisis was averted Apple pay That's the story that is Is the Gwyneth Paltrow bought something because it's not the. Chief forgot her credit card it's that she paid. For something with Apple Pay Done this All I know is? This seriously I'm not. Even, joking meanwhile did Apple Pay for, this, story meanwhile, apples, dead Chris Martin made a last-minute onstage appearance at Apollo in. The Hamptons so. They're. Together yeah so there's a lot happening there I cannot believe is this marriage Ziegler siegler write her a letter. And I'm just. Gonna. Tell her she's that is dumb While she's has a verified account and four thousand followers this is her job her job was to, tell us about nothing To be fair that's often our job to, this, is true however Bradley we would. Never commit valuable Showtime to, tell us silly story know about somebody forgetting their wallet, no and being saved. By Apple Pay mean we did that though We don't need to tell them. When we come back on the Colleen and, Bradley, show I would like to propose. That we dramatically read some Let's do it tweets because they really are spectacular and perhaps we can put them to a. Little music and Holly go stay tuned because this is probably, going to. Be the most intelligent programming you're going to hear for a long time thank you.
