Tulsi Gabbard Says She's Leaving the Democratic Party

"Am delighted to welcome our guest today Jack the sobic. Jack the Soviet is a political commentator and a senior editor at human events. Jack, thanks for joining us. Danielle, thanks so much for having me. Congrats to you, by the way, filling in for the big man while he's away. Yes, thank you, Jack. Yes, the big man, not the big guy, because I don't want to be a guy. Little hunter. Absolutely. Aw, well, thank you, Jack. Well, Jack, you have such fascinating insights, so I want to start by getting your reaction to Tulsi Gabbard recently posting on her Twitter that she's leaving the Democrat party. Listen, I can no longer remain in today's Democratic Party that's under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who were driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoking anti white racism, who actively work to undermine our God given freedoms that are enshrined in our constitution, who are hostile to people of faith and spirituality, who demonize the police, but protect criminals at the expense of law abiding Americans, who believe in open borders who weaponize the national security state to go after their political opponents and above all who are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war. Now, I believe in a government that's of the people by the people and for the people. Unfortunately, today's Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government that is of by and for the powerful elite. Now, I'm calling on my fellow common sense independent minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that the so called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, and I invite you to join me. So Jack, I want to get your reaction. Well, I think it's very interesting. So Tulsi Gabbard and if we remember correctly, she did resign all the way back in 2016 as the vice chair of the Democratic Party. And so to see her now leaving the party completely, it doesn't come as a huge surprise. I think a lot of people saw this move coming. It's something that she's certainly telegraphed. I mean, she's spoken at cpac. She's guest hosted for Tucker Carlson. She's appeared to events with myself with James O'Keefe and others. I've had the chance to talk with her offline a little bit. She's definitely writing this wave

"Corners from Oklahoma. Jack. Yes, sir. How are you doing today? Good. Okay, I'll get right to it, okay? I think Darlene gave you a couple of, uh, yes, I see that there. Yeah, you know, you said, you know if you're over 50% perhaps look at selling and the reason I would is because I am moving to a trying to get into more of a income based Uh, deal And of course, these are not actually income stock. So I think they do pay a small dividend and I'm up like 60% on the on the CS and 70% on the Industrial. Do you think that would be a time to go out and sell those and have the money on pan for whenever you know? Buy back in I would definitely sell both of those on unquestionably soon both. Okay? Even hesitate. All right, Jack do that. Good news. I'm glad you I'm glad you're get to sell them up anyway, But, yeah, Good news. All right. Thanks. All right, Jack. 67363 11 san. Good. Yeah. Good one quick question. Hopefully have time for a second. You had mentioned that you're going to have a change the asset allocation model. I'm 55 to 60 should anticipated change. Yeah, Not much. But yes. Okay. And the second question. Was there ever a scenario where you take something off of the bile ist or add something to the Bible ist? And it doesn't show up in the commentary. I missed utility couple utilities. It could have been my fault. Uh, No, it could I mean, unless it was, um more than four months ago. So now if it was after, like, four months ago, five months ago. Um it can't In other words, now I can't put it on the buy list without it showing up. We finally got him tied together. So that they, like my wife says That would be my fault, then. Okay? Yeah. You know, it's funny. Blair. My wife says that to me a lot. Yeah. Blair, My wife says it to me as well. Yeah, right. So we can all agree on that. That's for sure. Okay. Thank you. Let's get the other callers. Thanks. Alright, Blair. Thank you. I appreciate it. Um man, so true. Bill from Texarkana saying Good morning and have a blessed weekend. Good morning, Bill. Thanks, Bill. Yeah, Rich is saying good morning from Gooch Land, Virginia. I've never had a good Clinton. Me neither. Yeah. Thanks, Rick. Yeah? Deanna saying. Good morning, Dan from Villa near Arkansas. Good morning. Deanna actor saying blessings Dan from Utah actor Where have you been? I haven't seen in a while, Um, long term long time. Partner from Salt Lake City. Yeah, it's good stuff. Timothy is making a comment here doesn't seem coincidental that the bite that Biden implementing his own version of Sharia law upon the American people. He's talking about how well that's happening over in Afghanistan. Yeah, that's in. That's something. Yeah. Wow, That's okay. That's just such a great point. You know? Who would have thought? Yeah, stuff Donna on Facebook is saying, I am new to all of this investing. I have an account with TD Ameritrade. So if I become a partner with five, sm Well, I understand how to build a biblically responsible portfolio by the information on your site. I'm just a bit lost about it all. Um I don't want to tell anybody that. Yeah, you were understand everything. Once you join, I don't. I don't want you to believe that That's probably not going to be the case. Um, it really depends on a about On your patience and willingness. To, you know, watch a lot of videos. To read some information reference to the strategies. Uh and you know it just You. You said the key word there. Um, New to all of it. So being new the word new there, you know, that means that you're not going to have You're not going to have instant understanding, because even in there, I'm going to say things you're just not going to know what I'm talking about, And so Um, you know, I've had I had a A lady? Yes. Last week. I think of the week before calling, say she started house saying I'm ready to invest. I've watched all your videos like 10 times. Each example she's been just studying through and trying to figure it on so Um I don't There's a part there are some things on the site that I intentionally did not make easy. Was very intentional. As a matter of fact, I had two things in particular that I actually changed. Because it flowed too easy. Because I need you to think And I need you to do a little bit of research on your own, because it is that research on your own. That you are going to retain the most. So I try in some of the things I do to force you. To dig a little deeper. And, um, that is, you know, I always Um Try. Try. I want you to understand enough to get started. So having said that, Let me say this. I think that anybody that puts something into the partnership Road, Gag Creek gain out of it, You will get better understanding you will be able to manage cards and money the way that God had intended it or would want it. To be managed, and you will learn a lot. And you will. I think, as you hear all the time from people calling in, I think you'll do well. I mean, I believe that over the years All my strategies are based on long term. But yet everybody calls and so many people partner because they hear callers saying I joined last year and, um up 40%. That's that's not by design. That's by blessing. I don't I don't I don't put a stock on the bile ist and thinking. That I can't say I've never done that. I have thinking that it's going to go up very quickly, very soon, but rare, but rare. Um if it happens, great. But everything I do is based on long term, so even the ones that I think are going to do well in the short term, which I would never say. But I think we're going to do well in the short term. I wouldn't put him on the list unless they had long term potential. To continue to grow. So that's how everything is. So, um, you know, I think that I would tell anybody new. Just start with a little Let's say you have $10,000 You want to start with Invest 2000. And just watch it. Play around with the site that you're on. Let's say you're using Schwab, you know, go through. Read stuff. Research. Get look at your account. See what it's doing. Look at the charts that can be generated wherever broker brokers you're using, and I think that's really, really important, so don't don't have a sense of urgency. Take your time and go in just a little bit, um, during the learning curve stage. Good stuff. Vicky from Mississippi saying Good morning, Dan..

"That's for sure. But Jack Yeah, they're looking for one party welfare state. That's absolutely right. And when they get a hold of places Chicago and New York and Portland, Oregon and And the other places you know, they become work. Free drug places and lunacy takes over and and, honestly, you know, I hope people are All over. America are opening eyes that have never been opened before. Because this is this is truly madness madness. I say, Jack, thank you for the call and for the sense of humor. Because we really need a sense of humor right now. Honestly. Mm. Thanks, Jack. Let's go to, uh, let's go to blame calling from Belmont, Mass. Blaine, You're on the Chris Plante show. Hey, Chris. How you doing today? I'm great. Thank you. Yeah, I just You know, there's a lot of things being written about said about Donald Trump, Donald Rumsfeld. But you know, one major thing that's being overlooked is the Rumsfeld Foundation. Which she spent pretty much all this time dedicated to this foundation. Uh, since he's uh, you know, retired from the White House or the federal Service and This foundation. It has done a lot for Um But not only our troops and our service members here in the US, but he's done a lot of work in Central Asia. So you know, the left wants to say Oh, we just went into the Middle East for the oil and all that. But Donald Rumsfeld has quietly been a beacon of hope for the people of Central Asia. What's different fellowships and partnerships trying to bring free political systems and and free markets, um, to to help the people there and It was like Um Azerbaijan and, you know Those caucuses over there. He's when he's done a lot of work to help and stand up to government, good government over there and it's societies and that really should be in a story. Not all the negative that's going on. Yes to because he believes that the United States is a beacon of hope for the world, which we are. He believed past tense now, and he believed that a rising tide lifts all boats, and he was attempting to bring Western style democracy and free markets to lift people out of poverty and ignorance and bring them into the 20th century. If not the 21st century. And and I'm guessing blamed. You have background with Secretary Rumsfeld or at the foundation. You a veteran of the Afghanistan war. No, I'm just a Navy veteran and a person who tries to pay attention to what's actually going on out there. Yeah. Yeah, well, we need more of that, don't we? Yes. Runs. Well, I got to tell you. I think Rumsfeld was a great guy and I covered him when I was with, uh, what was them pretty much a news organization, CNN. Was assigned to the Pentagon for 10 years and I was there the day that the plane crashed into the building September 11th and I made my way around to the location of the where the plane hit the building. Was on route 27 there to the west of, uh of the Pentagon. I was just driving into the parking lot when the plane hit into north parking, and I made my way around to the other side of the building. And and as I started going into the to the hole in the wall, where the where the planet crashed through, I encountered a guy that I had some vague familiarity with in the in the Pentagon. Is, I think an army guy he was in civilian clothes and as how is rushing toward the hole in the side of the building. Um, he kind of stopped me put his hand up and said you have medical. You have medical training, and I said, No, I don't have any medical training said Honestly, if you don't have medical training, prefer that you not go in right now. So okay, and it was very short time later that I saw Donald Rumsfeld. Coming out the door at the age of 69 or 70, coming out of the hole in the side of the building, carrying the corner of stretcher on that September 11th. His office was all the way on the other end of the building, And when he found out I actually was the first one to report from my cellphone and my Lincoln Town car. Outside of the Pentagon that the Pentagon had been hit that there was a massive explosion and and so on, and Secretary Rumsfeld saw that on television, and he came running to the other and they wanted to evacuate them from the Pentagon. And he said, you know, now with that, and any marched, uh, you know about a quarter of a mile or more from where his office was inside the building to get to where the crash was. And before you know it. Here comes the secretary of defense, carrying the corner of a stretcher, the corner of the litter with a wounded person. Outside of the flaming mess that the troglodytes created there. Had and I just know And I kind of say, Look at this guy. I'm like, Look at this guy. He were. He were hiking boots around the Pentagon. When he came in. He was famous for vanishing out of his office and losing slipping his security detail going down to the cafeteria, where the enlisted people gathered where most everybody gathered. And he'd be found his security people realized that he was not in his office and it worked in his office had a drafting table, a stand up table and wearing hiking boots with a suit. He had suits that he were for many years. He liked to shoots and he got you know his money's worth out of him over time. And, um And you'd find him wandering around the Pentagon, just stopping in the hallway and talking to enlisted people sitting. His security people was like, Hey, where's the secretary? We lost him again, and they'd run down to the cafeteria in the Pentagon and find him sitting there with enlisted people at a table of six or eight or 10 enlisted people. Talking to them and listening to them and asking them questions and learning from them. And, uh, and the security people running like Oh, you know, Thank God. We found you and he just sort of smirk. He felt comfortable wherever he was, And he was. He was quite a remarkable guy. You'd run into him in the hallway and talk to him about About matters great and small. And he was always, uh, I always just thought he was funny. And he was, you know, a bit of a wise ass city and he'd tell you off to your face. He wouldn't stabbed in the back. Like most Washington people. He hates champion the front If he wanted to stab you, they just tell you the truth. And when we were there well at I guess it was it was after September. 11th. Women between the ages of thirty five to forty nine down significantly And that's believed to be due to the amount of blood that's been popping up more on dynamite. In recent weeks viewers were down. Fourteen point one percent while the eighteen to forty nine age demo was down twenty seven point. Four percent and eighteen. To thirty four was up by two point. Three percent show had eighty nine thousand in men between the ages of eighteen and thirty four down three point three percent forty five thousand and women eighteen thirty four up by fifteen percent hundred ninety three thousand in men ages thirty five to forty nine down thirty point. So you know no problem we would new jack has said just the timing of it that that was all when it's all said and done just just a fucking timing of by the way new jack had continued on in the same interview with regards to lawler and he said but i did it mainly because i knew i was going to stir up a lotta shit and i kept jabbing atom every time. I would say something then. All these boys on the indy circuit. They came at me but they wouldn't come to me and person they will come to me on the internet new jack. You ain't shit. I was like man. These motherfuckers fuckers are really mad about me talking about this motherfucker. Correct me if i'm wrong. But lawler dig in trouble rather than sex with a fourteen year old girl and he bought his way out of that now. If i said something that isn't right. I'll say i am. I'll take it. But what i said was fucking right. So people got to say if he was telling the truth in what was a mad at lawler. I thought it was funny to do. It is stirred up his shit. But i could care less. It ain't like i don't like him. I know him. But i believe he's a racist little. Fuck i did it. Because i thought it was funny. I didn't say it. Because oh i hate jerry lawler. Can i think about that shit twice. So that's pretty much you know but That sums up new. Jack like give two shits not you know he's like he's just always One of those type of guys will speak. His mind does not fuck in hold back will will tell it how if can is And is pretty consistent dependent on the. The topic is very consistent. You you know what you ask him from. Five years ago is pretty much gonna because you know sometimes when you get some of these wrestlers and you get them for interviews shoot stuff in all that shit changes that tonight you may change is all of a sudden. It's like this whole new other element that gets thrown into the mix and you know what started off at there are was looking right adam and he had a revolver in his hand and then ten years later man got three fucking guns at him. You know and and apparently there's a person with grenades and you're like wait a minute. Is you know. I think the greatest example somebody that kept changing their story. That testified on new jacks behalf in everything Talking about kid. Was you know very very kind of condescending. Very air again. You know trying to blow himself up to be something that he wasn't in everything in what was just so damaging was the fact that this kid got his dad and somebody else to lie say he was twenty one an lie about the whole. Yeah i was trained by killer. Walls never was drained by killer kowalski whatsoever. So there's a little bit of footage that's floating around online. If you guys wanna maybe what your appetites a little bit and you want to try to see just a little bit of because that shit like never air remember. It was a house show in massachusetts right so but rows around on online you can definitely come across a little snippet of footage from all of that craziness when it went down in everything You know so. That was a interesting piece of of history there. Where i gotta tell you. It was actually kind of refreshing to hear new jack. You know when he did dark side of the rain from last season it was definitely kinda cool. From a retrospect perspective hearing him go down that memory lane once again in putting out official put fish will mark mark on it and everything You know i. I would be set on fire. If i didn't mention this part about new jack. And i definitely will admit that you know. There's definitely one thing that rubbed me the wrong way. Is Ekholm Seen as the Most Valuable Trade in the NHL?

"There's not a lot of laptop for Less. D. It's mainly just at home on the market and every team is gunning form. So that now the price going to go right up. Oh, yeah, and it's also one of those odd situation as to where is also seems that need at home that probably need him more than you do like the Bruins definitely could use them but like a look at the Flyers right kind of hot not been playing very well. The defense is dead weak point they can score goals, but what they're missing especially is a guy like at home. So if you're going to get to a bidding war with them, like, you know, they've at least got guys on the NHL level who they can probably pop off within more comfortable doing like gostisbehere or a few of the guys. So it's going to be challenged like it's and again if you miss out on that, it's not like all right, you've got other options there. It's like, you know, it's just like a guy who's like a tier below like let's say they're looking for a top-six forward like they were a few years ago and they got like Marcus Johansson. It was like a really really good 3rd liner you make do with that and wage. Pretty well for them. It's not like you go from like Mickey. Is that home to like a guy? Who's a beach here? You got like marks. All right, like it's like Jack. Yeah, it's not not ideal for what you're looking for. So it's going to be and it's going to be tough as a lot of teams even teams that view themselves as contenders or at least in the playoff hunt that are going to be vying for the same five to ten guys, right? So you will see how it goes, but the rooms are not alone and where what they need to fix and unfortunately, they've got a lot of holes to address. May

Chris Korfist on New Advances in Sprint Training

"Christi Man it's good to have you back. I know I think you have a story about you. You are Carlos now right aren't you writing like a kick bike around and you're getting a hamstring workout what's going on with that? Yeah. So we have three cars which in most families is plenty But my daughter has taken a car up to Minnesota and she usually works during the day. She's GonNa go to Iowa the. Sun's. Going to be a junior but he said his license since December and he has volleyball every day. And then tournament sound the weekend, which I don't know is legal or not these this day and age. But basically, I'm a fifty one year old person that doesn't have a car I have a licensed but most my days and evenings I am Carlos. So. A couple of years ago more than a couple years ago I saw Franz Basch was playing around with the kick bike and John Prior. told me about it so. I've become the kick bike master of Chicago I am the. Middle aged guys zooming around on a red kicked bike. My record so far is fourteen miles. which. Is Pretty good on a kick bike I did it in forty minutes but I. Go Grocery shopping go pick up Britos things like that. Throw in my backpack and I kicked bike around the western suburbs of Chicago, which it may look easy. But kick biking is much harder than riding a bicycle It's your one leg is peddling through. So there's a ton of hamstring involved in the other leg. It's like in this isometric squad before. So. He can get low enough to get your foot on the ground. So. That's been my summer so far kicked. biking around trying to get food or go get whatever I need. I. It's awkward like I go to the wine shop, which isn't too far away but we're a backpack in my backpack I got a bottle of wine in a Burrito like. This is Kinda messed up. Usually, it's like a fourteen year old something like that but it's not often you see a fifty one year old how ask you do you? Do you take that thing through timing gates? How fast is that thing go all well, I have these hotshots because sometimes I just go out for the exercise and there's all these trails nearby and you got these hotshot bikers with all their gear on. And I always like to wear street clothes just to make them feel bad and zoomed by the bikers. So I guess I can go fourteen sixteen miles an hour when I get it moving. That's that's not too bad for non motorized. Yeah. But that's a that's a that's a short burst hold that for awhile. You tired really fast. Yeah I was just GonNa say this is a good segue innocent things that you've been some recent sprint ideas and human locomotion ideas but like the spiralling nature things, right like you got one leg, that's has one job and the other leg has the other job and I know you've been talking about the Lila Somme symmetrical stop there said you feel do you feel like you get a little like spiraling action or how long do you go on one leg before you switch to the other see don't like start running circles or do you care does it Usually I do just because I get bored I counted ten so I do ten pedals But then sometimes I go let's see how many I can do on this leg before my. My metric leg, the leg that's on the machine or bike completely is burning and then I'll switch so. Something like that, and I'm usually listening to a podcast. So I'm doing that too. So I'm. To me, there's nothing worse than doing aerobic work I. Think it's just mind numbing. So between going fast and kick by listening to a podcast and. Worrying about crashing in which legs burning word that usually is enough to keep my mind off the fact that I'm kicked biking and it does get to pissed at my children for taking all the cars and using the a kick bite. I think life is interesting. We don't have a car you know. It definitely I feel like there's always something to be learned I I I was Gonna say I will say as I've gotten older too I. I definitely appreciate having a good aerobic system but finding creative ways to do it not just running and in one direction and all that type of thing. So I did your bear crawl push saying this morning. Nice and that's hard it. Oh Yeah. No, it's super hard. It gets it gets tough like it's it gets logarithmic. You know like one, two, three, four whatever. But then he's getting five, six seven I need to come up with a way to make that more like 'cause everyone's GonNa get stuck at like eight you know or you can just rest the really longtime. Yeah. It I thought it would be easier than it actually was. Yeah, for me. I would do if it was me and someone else doing push ups and it was like you could either do two competitions. One would be just how many push ups can you do in two? Let's do that crawl thing. I would do way at the crawl thing because I get to rest and I'm way better read and it gives me a chance to like the take a break and I've rule more aerobic and all that the last stick. So I I think I, just kind of a cheater way for me to make it look like I'm a little stronger, my body or something I don't know. I feel like it's got I was thinking. It's like you do get the gait cycle in between every bilateral. So I agree I felt that same thing I you know I think the crawling huge is everyone's lack down. And we're lucky because we have gym center basements but still you start cranking off pushups just for something to do and. You can it gets a little numbing after a while and you can feel the impact that? Are Great. I crank off one hundred fifty push-ups but I'm not walking as well in my shoulder kinda hurts now. What am I really doing here is it really important to do that many push ups or is it more important that I feel pretty good after I do the exercise? Yeah. I was doing one of the last traditional strength programs I down for a while and ever since all the lockdown stuff and the weight rooms have been a little more sparse. I didn't have a barbell for quite a while, but one of the last programs that I was doing was just easy strength just two sets of five everyday basically three sets of three and I was Barbell benching every day and I haven't Jack, yeah I'm getting older but I haven't I haven't jacked my shoulder up that bad in a long time like my left shoulder was dying after awhile and every time I do those crawls like it's just like it's all good. You know you just a way to mitigate the same stress and you're back in your shoulder blades being pinned. You know, of course too

A Funny Byproduct Of Having To Buy Fewer Products

"About our fancy frame TV. Over the last couple of weeks on the PODCAST and I guess also on the blog. If you've seen our last couple blog post, we've been talking about how we've been pleasantly surprised that the furniture we moved down here for the most part fit very well and naturally into our new home. Yeah, it is kind of amazing to say. We showed a bunch of stuff in the. The pod I mean we did have measurements for rooms, and we did have an idea of what we're going to wear, so we weren't just like willy. Nilly putting a bunch of things in the pod, but we knew as we loaded the pod like there is going to be a margin for error I'm sure we'll get there and something won't work the way we thought it. It would because there's really nothing like being in a space and moving furniture around like you can try to do that in your head. When you're not in the space, it's really hard to land on the right. You Know Group of objects in the right. Lay Out I think anytime. We've moved houses. There's been this process where like some of your old furniture doesn't fit in. In the new house, for whatever reason like maybe it's because of the scale of the peace or the exact dimensions, or even a style, but you know you have these pieces that just don't land and work I think we expected that issue with at least some of the things that we brought down, but again we're grateful. Most everything has pretty much worked as it is. Is Yeah were even things John was like I. don't even know why we're bringing this. And then we brought it, and like played a very important role like remember. We talked about those bookcases that we're using in the kitchen and they have like so much storage. They're basically like extending our cabinets using as a pantry fought to leave those in richmond or sell them in Richmond. Richmond because I didn't think we had a place for them. And Sherry was right and the table in the kitchen. There's like a round white table that was like a game table in our old house in the bonus room and John was like I can't picture for people being able to eat here. I can't picture it fitting in the kitchen and it like probably won't live. Live there forever, but it is so good for now and if it hadn't made the POD, we'd be in trouble once again. Sherry was right so I think it's been nice because we didn't have this kind of like panic buying mode when we got here. We're like we don't have a kitchen table shot for one real quick and pretty much the only things that we have. Have had to buy at least the big furniture pieces we've had to buy have been things we knew we'd have to get because we didn't bring them with us. Like our beds like we had to get an outdoor dining table and other side note as we were packing the dining table with outdoor dining table in Richmond, and it was routed in the legs fell off. So we basically bought the same sized table. It was a different finish in a different color, and it works perfectly like I'm actually really glad that one did fall apart in Richmond. Has that one was like seven years old and disbar gone, and even informed the decision like that one was would, and it was rotten, so we got a metal and resin one. That will not, so you know some things were just dumb. Luck. Something's were strategy, but whatever it is that led us to where we are. We both kind of expected to land me like okay so now we need a rug dresser aside table six lamps five. Cheers. But you know what I'm saying I thought we'd land and have this list of like huge furniture items we needed, and it's like all we really needed. Where the things we knew we needed off the bat like beds. Yeah I, think that's the point here is that we've been grateful that we haven't had to go on like this sudden shopping spree and the other thing I wanted. Wanted to point out that was interesting. As we are shopping for one of the other items. We knew we'd have to get which has been window coverings, because as you have probably seen on instagram. We've been using packing blankets. It's very swanky at Casa Peter Sick. Let me tell you packing blankets. They disintegrate into like a black soot, and it's all over your window sills, it's. It's all over your floors, but we have started to receive some of the curtains that we bought, and it highlighted something interesting about downsizing and going to a smaller house that I think we consciously have known, but this particular purchase was like a good case study to help us quantify one of the benefits of living in a smaller space and furnishing a smaller space I think. Think things that are more obvious to everyone is like Oh to clean and less to pay to heat and cool like we said that over and over again. It's like less maintenance if I only have one bathroom I, worry less about maintaining four showers, enforcing them leaking and all that stuff, but I think this is one of those things where it's like when we say it. But it's just a thing we consciously knew, but then it was really interesting to see the actual numbers I. Actually don't know all the numbers. John is going to reveal them to me. Yeah, so I actually went back and tallied how many curtain panels and blinds we had to buy for our Richmond House, which as you probably heard? Her say is more than twice the size of the house. We are now living in Florida. So obviously had more windows to cover. Yeah, I can't wait to hear the numbers. John was like their staggering. I was staggered, so keep in mind. We didn't have curtains on every window so like not in the kitchens, bathrooms or anything like that and having a dining room, either yes, so this is not representative all the windows, so we had actually more blinds, and we had curtains, but we had twenty four curtain panels in Richmond. House K Twenty four, and I should point out. Out In recent months before we left, we were starting to like double up. Some of the curtain panels to make them look thicker right. Some have always been double in our living room. That was four panels instead of to on that big picture window in our office. We had a big picture window with four pounds instead of two. Did you just count those to? Double them because I couldn't remember what was doubled, so the twenty four number is probably closer to like thirty or thirty two. Yeah, that's what I would guess. We also have thirty blinds throughout. The houses were also. Roughly sixty two different window coverings. That Jack's yeah I mean. It was a lot I. Remember hanging those. It took us forever and I remember buying them, and it was so much money. I remember the blinds. We were like Oh. Do we need lines? Backpedal real quick and when we got home depot and saw the total. Yes, so again thirty ish curtain panels thirty blinds. Are you ready for the Florida numbers? I can't wait in Florida instead of thirty. We only need eight curtain panels, eight curtain panels versus thirty well, there's the saving instead of thirty blinds. We need five blinds. Five lines is my favorite and. And we're being very specific about these lines, guys. No one has researched blinds more than us. We will share what we pick when it arrives and we're sure we like it I. Don't want to jinx it. Hence all the packing blankets because we're taking our time and I also just for fun also looked at the number of curtain panels in blinds that. That we had to buy for the Beach House and the duplex. That's going to be like a million. A million I mean feel like we're. It's going to be close because it was three kids nine bathrooms like it was six seven, eight nine hundred ten bedrooms like it's a lot of juices well, and it was also fifty two curtain panels O and And Forty two blinds, no regrets right. We're glad we had curtains and blinds, but it sure is nice. When what did you say it's eight and five here in Florida compared to when we tally all of those previous homes that we sold eighty two curtain panels and seventy two blinds is so insane. Yes, and we ironed in hand

Which is the in development supersonic business jet that the to write the story about that. Yeah and so. I don't know exactly what the news is here. I think they've kind of reached a milestone. Five all right. I mean it's like that long that this project has Jack Jack Yeah. Rome wasn't built in a day. I guess not all right you know but my other my other question about this they call. They're calling it the. As to now he's happy what happened to the one. That was the initial design that was Produced toward the jet back. Oh Jeannie fifteen years ago that sounds about right since we talked about in about fifteen years ago and since then they rethought the The size the seating in the engine configuration and incorporated those changes into the design. Joey went from. As Arianne supersonic one to Iran supersonic to it's going to be a three engine jet about one hundred and twenty million and they're still taking the same approach that I think could make this. Bra Fitting with Kimmay Caldwell

"Past thirteen years I have been officer I have fit people say women usually but it's people really need for a Bra Sizes Double H U N Cup I've seen a lot of naked people and I honestly the reason I stayed in it so long because it changed my life and then I realized I could change other people's lives doing stuff so for example I just like Gabriel was an actress when I was going to school I had a really bad image of my body I was like welcome to the club yeah I think that for me for me personally I don't really healthy able bodied but I was just like comparing it to like perfect looking images in magazines like airbrushed so I was so you know going through school and needed to get some money so this my friend was like Oh there's this bra shop opening up and I'll pay more than the eight dollars an hour that are making four selling shoes and she said skipped his ten and I was like I'm going to be rich this is our the American dream is alive this is also a million years ago but either way my first week is abroad oh I saw actual naked human bodies and I saw stretch marks in late just like my body and I also saw people after mastectomies in surgery I saw people pregnant I saw people after pregnancy is all supermodels I saw old women young women like everything you can imagine I was like Oh this is what bodies look like God it so I started being more thankful for my own body and then realized I can help other people do the same thing in the fitting room because every single person that came in there was but this this looks gross and I was like listen I didn't even notice that sounds like God I see what a we hate ourselves a little it honestly that's true a little bit everybody has the I'm not enough shame is a shame and I hate it and that's an issue is all about okay we aligned itself talk it out get it out push it out okay I like the push it out push it real good uh-huh oh did you see them on the billboard awards Salton I heard about it was it was heavy misinformation misinformation was it also vacation Oh you weren't watching missy Elliott was missy Elliott there do it was en vaux check they didn't really get their moment like they came out like joined in on a song and I was like can we hear free your mind would that be okay but they didn't but anyway sawn pepe they're flourishing in two thousand eighteen happy I'm very happy about their happy spend Ella you wanna come in and get your off in baby come on in let's deal at yes so I was totally excited to match you guys yeah because my life was forever changed win Kamei Komo came over to my New York City apartment now maybe four to five years ago well I have a confession to tell you a little bit about that four to five years she came over and purged all of my brassieres and told me that I'm wearing the absolute wrong side is that I had no idea about actually won this like prize at a seminar that you hosted I won like a raffle so that's how I got the hookup I want her yes and I didn't know that I was hoarding all of my Musical Theater Show Buzz because to Gabrielle that I was gonna use them again which I never did and there's a pile I mean I it's a picture with Veronica's my cat sitting all over like the twenty maybe bras she was like Nope Nope Nope nope I'm just telling you now Jack Yeah be prepared I'm pretty healthy in terms of like throwing out things that don't serve you anymore four but that's a semi new development in my adult life and it comes it's party adulthood nobody tells you you're going to throw your shit out yeah we're taught to be consumed immersed and be superficial and care about material objects so you buy things and then they don't serve you anymore and you don't want to get rid of them because of guilt I don't know what but I had a woman come over here and go through my closet and it was so enlightening and it did it hurt oh honey hurt she wouldn't she goes she'd hold as you go keep or get rid of it I go Cape and she go bitch you a four these she's isn't as good as the other one and you're right and I didn't miss anything she made me rid of honey throw out my shit I'm fine with it happened daddy I'm excited for you also I will tell you a lot of people hold onto old bras like gabby was saying like because they feel like they're going to wear them again it's like another time in their life they were reminds them of I actually had for a long time that was I remember wearing that when I went on a date with my house then or whatever and I'm like what the single souvenir terrible and speaking of like husbands and partners and whatever I sort of think of people who hold onto bad ause as like a bad boyfriend so it's like you know he was he used to be real cute and super supportive yeah and now like we're just not a good fit anymore and he's a little worn out and I'm not really supportive anymore and I lost you anymore I have yet he and you're not serving you're not worth it for me anymore and I feel about bras feel about men like I want a really supportive and attractive looking Bra I wanted to support an attractive looking man so like I don't WanNa man that's like really good looking but not very supportive and he also don't want to really support Brosnan last as long as men so I think you gotta you gotTa get rid of them every once in a while because baby now we got bad bras that's what we need to do for the intro this baby now back anyway I just make everything song Well where should we start so where should we start okay you're the profession another disclaimer that like this we would this is happening live I've not I know I know nothing about your boss is what you've been wearing nothing about your I n people can you kind of take a guess just checking out my flat chest I can but we discuss that the jumps that you're wearing right now is like you know oversize of the tops look I don't know but for some double ds under your so I was Gonna say I I have a game for US play okay what and I have a new bra it's amazing size do you think I'm wearing and I know the view is at home can't see me but you can go to my site and you can see me and guests to okay a safe thirty four C Gabby doing take a guess Boura little bit I just remember what I thought was extremely off so I use myself as an example all the time this is a thirty two double D look if I was a betting woman I don't really but if I was a betting woman every in the thousands of people that I fit for bras when they come in there wearing a cup size too small in a band is too big almost every time and believe it or not because of how sister sizing works a thirty four sees the same cup size volume which was your guest as a thirty two D. and so if we I was off I have I have a very sneaking suspicion that mine is Brown okay so the thing is here so what we're GonNa today I'm going to go through the war without you for civil talk about duty styles fit you anymore the good match for you still is he still like part of your life you want him in it and will also measure you and kind of see what you're starting point bra sizes with me and discuss what the heck that even means for the viewers readers list listeners hey yeah baby for all three for you people listening to us right now I'll give you some information like how you can find your own and then I don't have any new bras for you try and because I didn't know what size rights but we were going have you would be in information we go we go to macy's or something and then I try them on look at me and poke me and Chet yeah well get real fussy in there with you yeah basically I semi recently went through I think even this is probably after the first time you were in la I went through and got rid of and Ghassem New Bras and got some fancy like Ikea's little sectional thing so it won't be as bad as it would have been a few months ago radio there's this one bra that I wear and it does not fit me hasn't lie get it I get it listen datings hard I get it is worth only Kathy does she knows the transformative power getting a Bra that fits ditching the bad brush she gets that she knows she's been there she's a transformed woman I also like really appreciate you using the under neutral pronouns I feel like I should on that up of the top reason I was thinking women bras but you're right everyone needs and bras don't care who you are Oh they're just trying to help yeah so yes to that feeling is if you like the whole reason I even work with bras now is because this is a huge disclaimer I don't actually care era yeah whoa it's really because this part of the body is where your heart is right so if this if there's any kind of discomfort like bronchials me or shame the other two bigger to smaller copier whatever or my husband hates them or there's any confusion like what burroughs is do I even wear this I hope you at home can understand what's going on here I'm like caving because there's all this sort of shame and confusion and discomfort in lifted and understood and oh my goodness even loved and adored if you love and Adore yourself like heart

Ashton Kutcher uses Demi Moore drama to direct fans to app

"That may I finally unleash the entire theory I have over Ashton Kutcher yes do a ninety bag today man okay so yesterday we learned a little bit about what was in demi Moore's autobiography and some of the things she says about Ashton Kutcher are really really not flattering to him and we had wondered like how do you think he feels about this yeah right and we thought maybe he had signed off on it and I said look we'll give it a couple minutes we'll see what he says like when maybe he's interviewed well do you we didn't have to wait that long but the way that he responded to it is the debate EST bag thing he could have possibly done okay tell me what he tweeted yesterday. he tweeted I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet when I saw my son daughter and wife and I deleted it now you might call all good for him you know we practice self control. number one I would say by tweeting about not tweeting about it he's tweeting about that's just like one of those things like I was about to say something really mean that's where you learned aren't used aren't I lucky that you didn't say something mean thank you. that is like that is a high level passive aggression that you learn from Minnesotans but he's also from Iowa so close enough okay so don't do well exactly clearly I'm but then it goes on any treats the following. for truth text me whites and they need Texas out a number which I'm gonna say because he tweeted out and I can say it and guess what don't tweet it okay and I'll tell you why the texter don't sorry I don't tax it he said he puts this like one three one nine five one nine zero five whatever you can look it up if you want to six thank you. if you tax that do you know what happens I do because I've done it before what. you get eight invitation. to the community. what's the community. it's his like social networks yeah didn't we do this so I'm glad you were gullible enough to fall for it and then you started getting some spam I. in you know what's really okay so here's actually interesting here some insider information on that like I got that text back that was basically like join the community blah blah blah and they didn't do anything with that just about three weeks ago I started getting pestered again no not even probably like a week ago that number started tweeting you're texting me back again. join the community get to spend time with Ashton Kutcher could get to know the real him so obviously like it when the latent for a hot second and now they're trying to re embark on this stupid journey. to get to know Westing good no actually. I've never wanted to get to know Ashton Kutcher. in you know what's it like this is the part that really gives. what I love about this is so trashy and it is easy so like he's always I think Ashton Kutcher has always modeled himself a sort of like Leo de Caprio junior like he's you know it's that Hollywood man syndrome we got a circle HMS Hollywood man's HMS Ashton Kutcher he to suit exactly more like anyway full of hot air and gas blue blue what it does say was. he he's like I'm gonna spend thirty million dollars on a social media happens really transform my friend even one muscularity slim around like two beliefs trying to disrupt the whatever well over and basically it's like no dude you just can't get a real job in Hollywood so you're like sitting around with your over paid you know privileged cronies you know. trying to come up with excuses for your sad I mean it's. but also to use this moment when demi Moore has like I mean many of the headlines about demi Moore and her autobiography are. at Jack yeah including but not limited to the story she tells about I'm essentially being brokered for sex work by her mother yeah and the miscarriage she suffered at the at six months of practice and really like the death of her child it is that is a state that is essentially a stubborn and Ashton Kutcher wants to take this moment to promote his social network. through her painful sharing of her story. that tells me so much about who Ashton Kutcher is it confirms for me a lot of the crap she said about him in that both course and it just it wasn't all that he's gone for we already know which is it he's a D. bag because you can just smell it the way that he interacts with the world around him that it just comes across very like patronizing and very sort of looked on the nose and again you know look demi Moore I'm glad that she's sharing their stories and they are personal and

Google I/O: We break down the highlights and lowlights (The 3:59, Ep. 557)

"The. Tonight or Roger Chang. I'm Ben FOX Ruben Gallego has come and gone and Google loaded. A lot of information a lot new products. Not futures really giving us over look at what its services are going to look like over the next couple of months ban. What was your big highlight your favorite for the yesterday's presentation? I would say probably the Google pixel three. A it's nice to see like a pixel named phone kind of like a flagship style phone that's four hundred dollars. It's about time that there's a least a little bit of pricing pressure pushing the prices lower down as opposed to everybody doing thousand plus not just four hundred dollars. But also a hedgerow Jack. Yes, hijack. Yes. Unbelievable. Gimmie look there are some Meyer trade-offs there right there. No wireless, charging water resistance, a weaker front facing hammer, but the back cameras the same the same nice shot mode. So there you can see they're trying to kiss. Post or something she doesn't have anyone to take. So sad. Well, as for me by say, Google was the most impressive to be offered off of the stuff is very pine sky Sifi ish, but they offer some really tangible benefits, particularly the translation be able to like hold your phone up to sign with four languages at. Having it translate that actually overlay English textile right or vice versa, like foreign language of. That's what you speak. That's lost the ability like Scana menu. And have those items? Pop up information on the like, the dishes the specific dishes pop up. That's like a real practical benefit to me. Yeah. It's nice to see the Google lenses. Actually like now starting to spread out a little bit more. It was really just for pixel devices if I'm correct about that. And now, I can get it on my Samsung phone, so I don't know I use it around my garden. Sometimes like what tree is this. So it's nice to see that they're trying to find different benefits for it. Right. Obviously. This was a data. So, of course, looks amazing. We'll have to see what it looks like it real and real world settings. What about the the lowlights? What what for you was disappointed? Man. So I don't know if you watch till the bitter end of the keynote there. Yeah. The bitter end of the keynote tends to be like really want. He airy like like, they really saved like the very end instead of doing like, a whole fireworks exhibit to be like, hey, check this out a lot of this research is actually like quite fascinating if you dig into it. But I don't know that it was really the right place to do it at the end of a keynote after everybody was sitting through an hour and a half of you know, a lot of heavy stuff. And I think that kind of illustrations the kind of weird balance they've gotta do they're really talking to consumers in the press. And they're talking to developers that was clearly the developer portion of the presentation, it was a little a little dense for sure as me Andrew Q was disappointing. I mean, there was some talk about foldable z-. But really the the big emphasis our privacy, which surface seems great. Just felt like it was a blue Katori. Ragu goals. Like, okay, we can Connie the time of privacy. Yes. Let's make privacy. A big focus in San Ryan. It did kind of feel little boring and a little forced right? But I did appreciate throughout the presentation where they did keep coming back to pry, the they're obviously very mindful of the fact that this is where we are right now in the tech world where people don't really care as much about what the features are. What what are you gonna do with my information? When you're providing us these features. So I appreciate it. But I agree with you that it was they could have made a little more interesting last time about the the nest hub max and a year. You're the the smart speakers play guy. Greg cool. So what did you think? I don't think that there was anything that really stood out specifically that made it that much different than the previous like, let's say you already had a Google home. I is this gonna get you to go buy new one probably not. So and. And I got to go about smart displays this one adds a camera. Right. Yes. Yes. It adds a camera. But I again, if you already have one are you going to go out and get a whole other one just for the Amer feature. I don't really think. So, but it is nice that they lowered the price on the original. So that's good to definitely more for moral. Google coverage accents are Roger Chan I'm Ben FOX urban. Thanks for listening.

Va Tech's Ty Outlaw to Play in Sweet 16 vs. Duke After Passing Drug Test

"Here force Virginia Tech intends to play senior Guotai outlaw has been charged with marijuana possession against Duke and ENC tournament Friday unless little headline on their hokies coach buzz Williams announced in a statement that outlaw took a drug test before the team left campus on Wednesday, brick Sweet Sixteen showed in Washington DC on Friday, the test came back negative, prompting Williams and athletic director without cop to allow them to play. Now when was the original wrestle outlaw was charged March twenty first the day after he and the hokies arrived in San Jose, California. That's when he was charged the twenty first. So let me get this straight again. That's neither here nor there. Let me let me get this straight. He goes out to California and get pinched for wheat, which he knows. He can't do it against the law and Virginia Tech season. So he plays in the games already. And then they come back to campus. Five days later twenty first twenty second twenty third twenty four twenty fifth. And then they test him. And he comes up negative for marijuana in assistant. Well, I've been around the block for a little bit. You know, maybe in my forties. But I did go to college. You know, I was a high school. Participants. There are stuff out there that can ask. Let's just say these marijuana tests will leave it at that. So if Regina attack was so diligent in what they were looking to do and make sure nothing was wrong. They don't test outlaw on the twenty first twenty second twenty third were twenty four but then test him on the twenty fifth. Now, what sense does that actually make? And let's back it up here. It's not because he's still chart. So it's gonna be, you know, corden fines, and whatever it would be unless the charges get dropped. Who knows? But if you are Virginia Tech, what does this say though, honestly like one of your players? You're starters. Got arrested. While you were out on the west coast came home. And you tested him for Weeden came up. Nothing in his system. Scratch my head a little bit on this one. What what was the outcome that we were looking for here? So he had the weed on them. But it's not his we'd he was going to give it to somebody else. I. I don't know. I don't look on. And look if you're betting Virginia Tech, if you won't Virginia Tech to beat Duke. It's fantastic. It's great. And you know, if I'm a head coach, and I'm a booster. I'm a fan of Virginia Tech. I love this outcome, Jack. Yeah. He minutes. Six six four, please. He's a three point shooter. We need all hands on deck to beat Duke. He's gonna play take the old, Bob. Bobby Bowden, Florida state approach dadgum it. We'll just have that boy run some steps. And that'll cure everything. I hear you on that. But this is what does the clean drug test have anything to do with him. Having weed on them though. Allegedly. What happens if he's selling wheat? I don't know. We're just didn't get a chance to smoke. It yet. The fact that he was caught with it. Charged with it. What does having? No, we'd in your system even have to do with this. So if you crack cocaine to high school, it was in your pocket who knows what you were going to do with it sell it smoke, it give it to your best friend, you get caught and charged. You can't play that Friday night football game because it's on Friday. But then they just test you for crack in your system. And if you don't have any it's all good and you can play. What did I miss? I'm going to get it doesn't make any difference to me of outlaw plays or doesn't play tonight for Virginia Tech. And none. But I don't understand the concept of well. We tested in for weed, and it wasn't an assist them. So we're good come on man that test the guy could just said, hey, we're going to let the court case, you know, take take its roundabout through the system, and when he gets done, and if these guilty or has to pay a fine or goes on probation or nothing happens will advise in will carry out some sort of thing, neck, Johnny. This is. Administered. Make sure if he's a. Check here. See his greatest. I think he's a senior. Because I know you had a lot of hard times there. Virginia Tech couple injuries and stuff. Let's see. He's a senior. So let me just play it off like that. You know what I mean? Coming back next year. He's gonna play it out, and we'll let the legal system, but the whole sham of hey, man. Look at us. We're doing the right thing. They got picture we but has no we'd in assistant. So it's all good. Stop man's stop. The mates is hearing set for

Moto G7 and LG G8 get the smartphone wars going (The 3:59, Ep. 517)

"Tonight or chain. I'm Ben FOX urban the mobile world, congress trade shows almost upon us. Which means we've got a flood of phone news coming your way this morning, Motorola, showed off its new G seven line actually four different versions G-seven itself as that she seven play power. Plus one's got more power got a bigger screen ones. Better for playing with like. Oh, okay. I got I got it. Yeah. I'm on the ball today. Sure. This is why you should care. The Moto g line has consistently been seen that's top pick as a budget phone. But well, sadly, the cost for these devices are going up about fifty bucks more for the G seven still three hundred dollars dollars. Still a definitely a great deal considering all the study get jammed up jam packed into the phone including Jack headphone, Jack. Yeah. And it's third of the price of the iphone ten s but it is a price increase. And I think that's sort of reflection of the fact that like things are getting more expensive than his balance between cost and new features. I think most manufacturers are now airing bit more on adding new features, even for means more expensive device by my hope would be that a phone like this would actually help keep prices down or like help improve on competition. But we haven't really seen that much yet apple has been doing a little bit more of the deals and sales. To try to use the numbers of their iphone? But in general, I don't think that there ever they're not going to significantly lower their big flagship numbers are still going to keep around the Jesus play is actually one nine nine. So there is that sheep return of. Yeah. Now the phone news LG teased a bit of the extra details on their upcoming flagship phone the G eight thin Q. I know it's terrible of I tell time, but they announced last night that the the phone will have a front facing three D scanning front facing camera which better for selfish. But also as a sexually Apple's version of face ID or LG's version of face LG version of Apple's right? And the idea would be to add more like a are in VR features at some. So do you think either of these are really gonna make much noise in the phone market or the still kind of also rans will we'll see LG has definitely struggled has kind of been an also ran they they make like good phones. They're just not quite as good as what Samsung has out right around the same time. So it got some other tricks. I broke the news that they're going to have a phone with a second screen attachment. Oh, yeah. So it might be this phone might be another one. I know LG has a number of devices it's going to announce admirable congress. So we'll see we'll see if they, you know, get some of the spotlight back on them. Yeah. Next up. We want to talk about a story their own steam Shanklin wrote about a drone that my serve as your own home security system. Yeah. Like little attack dog so long attack. I I was definitely thinking that. And I was like this is the coolest idea ever if you have a flying attack dog by. No, that's not exactly right. The idea is to actually cut down on false alarms apparently home security systems in some areas. Actually ninety nine percent of those alarms are false alarms, which is insanely high number. Yeah. So the idea is to have a more sophisticated sense your house. Yeah. That's that's my house. Right. They're not really. So you would have motion vibration, sensors connected all around the perimeter of your home. And if they notice a problem, they send you a notification. And that's when you can get the drone into action, and you could actually watch live. I or your phone. What's going on? Interesting. Sounds like a really cool system. I don't know if it's really for everybody. But yeah. Ninety nine percent false. Alarm rate sounds pretty high. Lastly Twitter posts revenue that beat expectations but weaker forecast and lower monthly active. Users has Wall Street low bummed. Yeah. And they also reported daily active users, but then went out of their way to make sure that that wasn't comparible, right. Monetize daily, active user. What does that? Yeah. It's folks that see ads versus let's say with Facebook. They have daily active users. But it's for folks that either see odds or they don't see it. So they are intentionally trying to prevent us from doing apples to apples comparisons. Which is really nice. Thanks witter. Thanks for clearing things up.
