"jack swagger" Discussed on The Wade Keller Pro Wrestling Podcast

"No offense and i said no offense so they're fortunate matter like i love how we like pointed out how stupid that is when people say something mean and then they go well. No offence meant and that's supposed to be racing any attention to it. He came off as smart like smart. He'll also a smart. Seo who you wanted to get beat up. But i i. I've always loved the interaction with vickie and dolph too smart characters. And i love the idea of jack swagger being added to the mix stables. I like the sheiks army. And they'll bobby heenan family in the awa and i love scandal akbar's army and world class championship wrestling and jj dylan at the four horsemen. And i mean. I love when managers have a group of wrestlers because then heels play off each other. And that's when you really get to see different dynamics with different heels trying to coexist because you know they're gonna get in each other's way and have jealousy issues and and that type of thing. And i think it's a good opportunity for swagger and they'll sigler kinda hang out in the upper mid card for a while we're while everything else kinda out and get some entertaining tv exposure. So yeah i love that same. It's one of the reasons. I really like the middle of raw. This week is I thought we got a really nice meaningful role. And a chance for both golf. And vicky plus jack swagger to you know set something up that i think would be entertaining and weeks to come jason. How about you boy. Are we on the different peach today. I didn't care for it. I you know i. It just was more bullying. I thought golf was fine. That line about the you mentioned. I can't remember the top of my head what it's from but he did borrow a line from either a tv show or movie. That was a theme of something. I've seen fairly recently But it was funny. And it's you know. Vicki is as a manager. she's the people that she used the person that the wwe fans love to hate. I don't think it's true. Genuine heat in that. It doesn't trickle down to her talent. It's like the fans love booing. Her and then when the bell rings okay they settle in. And so i kinda i think. They need to adjust that character if she's going to be managing more than one person if they want. It should be more than just kind of a mid card comedy because to me. That's right now. what she is. It's just mid card. Comedy aren't very good. Let's go to our next call. You jason that. I can agree on something today. Going to state your name. Where you're from i asking for washington. Dc anthony what question lifted it. Just a few I had no problem with Diesel can slash kevin nash. For what i'm seeing talking stuff. I just Then just this kind of weird saying that like all of a sudden you know they just bring him out on the pay per view and everything and it's kinda may check them incident scenario it. It's kinda weird. I i didn't get up you know. I have more questions than answers for him. Being projected in there. You know. I mean i mean you can see you have a hard time. I still walk and stuff. I can't see him being you. Invaluable in the rain really know maybe like little spots here and there. But i mean you can see kinda broken down. He could barely like stand up for long periods of time. What i am leaning on the road like he was doing. You know what i mean and Also are watching smackdown. Stuff i mean. Please tell me that they're not gonna keep using this phony guys in car. 'cause i know real so car and they ruined him after that messed always in car. Did they ruin here. It's a so please tell me they're not gonna keep just me down with him or you know. Explain why he's not there. That's why i think they should do. What do you think about that. jason i thought it was kind of weird. They drew attention the way that did and they did this on the spanish announce team to To not being the real scene. Kara what was the rush in bringing back a fake scene car. If they weren't sure that nobody would notice. It was a facing car. Are they going to do a story line. Did they have some need to get car back on. Tv one or two weeks early. I i don't get it. They're i mean they're ha. I know there's been talk within. Wwe of doing that. You know that version of send kara against the real version of sin car and some sort of evil mass character. I don't know if it's darks car what they'd go with So you know it could turn out to be that. Once the real in cars eligible to return he calls this guy out on it I but it's also very possible that the car goes away. And you know i i noticed. It was noticeable to me because he was so much bigger. But i- watching the live crowd and just hearing from correspondents who were at the taping. I don't think the average fan out there watching in the building. At least maybe it's different on tv but in the building. They just started with some car different on tv. Because you know there's essentially told us problem yard master. What was only in the mask. Look like it doesn't fit as well. And i think they were talking about how he's been lifting weights or something and not a lot of ways since he's been gone. The spanish announce team apparently was even more overt and In talking about different seems see. I think the spanish announced him almost has to. Because i mean those fans know the fans in mexico they know mr they. They know they've seen him for years. Wwe fans i mean i. I almost took the american version obviously. Didn't listen to the spanish. but the The english broadcast. I took almost like tongue-in-cheek. Like a lotta people know this. And we'll throw him a little bit of a bone. I didn't really take like they. Were trying to point out all out differences and and i. I guess we'll know more i think this weekend. The the real sin cars eligible to return from his wellness suspension and If i if they still have hyun echo the guy from fcw under that mask. I think it's going to tell us a lot about the future of The actual scene car aka michiko. Yeah my my. Only my only theory here is they just wanted to show the real mystical who they feel carries themselves like some sort of international superstar which galley he is But they he takes too far. Maybe they were trying to humble him by saying. Hey we can put anyone out of this mess. No one's gonna notice And then they got insecure about it. Or vincent man just got playful and they decided to you know wink and nod to the fans who knew better so it didn't seem like they're trying to insult them but not go so far that somebody who didn't know with no for sure it was somebody different because that would be weird too so i don't know i i just think hold off on unless the point was to show mr co we. Can you know we can put anyone out of this mask and continue with this gimmicks so settled down unless that was the point. I don't i don't see your point in it. I think fans can wait another week for him. Yeah the only thing i can think of is because they were in california they wanted to sell merch but you could have accomplished that by putting this guy in a dark match. You didn't have to put him on the down television show. So i it's. It's a really strange deal. I'm not sure what the motivation actually is. And how it's gonna play out. We're about to go to another commercial break. Why are you listening. Commercial breaks why deal with these interruptions when you can become a vip member support the weight. Keller pro.

"Josh Kolinsky, the financial quarterback. So this is interesting. Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters said she wants Keith Gil. Who appeared another panel, along with an executive from Reddit and glad 10 of CEO of Rahman Hood, the overwhelming online trading platform cause an uproar by restricting the sales. No. What's crazy is that whatever rules come out of this, we know we're not going to be probably For the average consumer. They're probably going to be designed by the hedge funds to protect themselves. Which is why I'm afraid that is the case. We're gonna ban them that But that's not the case, but I wouldn't bet against you. Yeah. I mean, I do have a problem with Keith Gil. Giving investment advice or whatever over read it without requisite disclaimers. And but I guess he did tell people younger, So he did all the you know. So it's not But he needs the lawyer up quick because you're gonna go after that guy. That guy's gonna be the victim isn't going to be Robin Hood. Robin's gonna get only bigger out. This is gonna be Keith Gil. Probably Um yeah. The millennial. What can people do? You know what people do? Yeah. So I just want to go back to my conversation with Jack Swagger for a minute. Um, and you know, I mentioned that, he said, you know, across all of these market wizards that he's interviewed over 20 years, right? But in all these books, you know, the one thing they all have in common is a pretty rigorous commitment to risk management. And then he went further to say that 90% of risk management Is knowing when to sell when you're gonna sell when you're going to get out, Okay, Before you get in. Hmm. No. Let that sink in for a minute. You know, all these soldiers use risk management and 90% of risk management is knowing when to get out before you get in. So I take that and I think about all these people that bought game stopped without a plan, right? And Josh here, the financial quarterback. You know all about plans. You're preaching plan all the time, right? Yeah, I think about all these people that bought Gamestop and if they had asked themselves the question of where am I going to get out? And had an answer to that question before they got in. The first thing that would have happened is most of them wouldn't have gotten in because they couldn't answer the question of Where am I gonna get out right? And let's say a few of them did answer that question. They said. I'm going to get out at 1000 bucks a share, right which you know that's the number of people were talking about on Wall Street that's taken to 1000 bucks a share. Okay,.

"Some behind the scenes stuff that doesn't always make the show. Champion. Oh, having a great week this week. You know one of the things I want to talk about His earlier we were talking about having a trading plan, Understanding. You know what it's like to be in the financial markets, But really, what it comes down to is. How does somebody get that edge in the market? How can somebody you know become better than who they are right now is a trader investor or even better than the person they're trading against. What does that look like? Well, we used to talk about this on the radio. A long time ago. We talked about the damn money. Used to say that you know the masses when they enter the field of trading. We say they open the trade account or Robin Hood account or a corns or whatever you're now a traitor. Whether you realize it or not, You've got money on the field and you're after chasing out the profit for speculation your traitor. So this millions and millions of those accounts just in this country, Never mind internationally. And most of them don't have that edge you speak of because they don't have a plan. We talked about the planning section one have a plan and more specifically, they don't know what to focus on. It's exciting, trading a sexy you could sit down and I mean I lived through dot com. I mean, I'm 57 years old. I mean, I was 2000 I was in my late thirties. So I went through that whole thing and the phenomena of Internet in a well and dial up in discs and floppy disk and all that stuff, and it's dramatically different something, you know is that what I'm talking about? And so through that process, it brought so many people to the arena that would not qualified years back. If you want to be a traitor in the seventies, you had to have a pile of money. You're to be a blue blood. Commission's were 200 bucks for 100 bucks just to execute you trade. Think about the cost of that. So you had to make that much money to get to break even. Now commissions are zero in stock accounts so that floods the field with what we used to call dumb money. We don't call it anymore because the world's a softer, gentler place right now, so we call it the donors. The donor's show up and the donor's show up without any system, and they don't have an edge on that edge is a practical knowledge of how the market's move. How price moves. How price changes and they use hope and emotion and gut reaction and Jim Cramer going booyah on CNBC, and they need a system of specialized knowledge. They needed no something that separates them from the masses. Napoleon Hill wrote the book thing Grow Richard, he says. Specialized not, you know, something that separates you from the masses financially. There's millions and tens of millions of traders out there that don't have a clue what they're doing. What if you took the edge instead of learning the skill that they'll never learn because they don't even know where they need to learn it. You separate yourself. You become an outline. That's what the traders edge looks like Champion. Say it all the time. You are who you hang out with. And you know what if you're not hanging around people that are making you better traders and investors. If you're not around individuals that are thinking like that. You gotta ask yourself. Who are you hanging out with exactly when I when I first got introduced to the markets, and I met a successful trader He was an options traitors. Yet 2000 mark was collapsing. He was making money. And I start to see his lifestyle and it was really attractive to me and he said, You need to get her out of people at a good trade Is this and I don't know what he said to you, he said. I know I said, I don't want to hang out with you that much, either. So he said to me, he said, he told me to read a book called Market was by Jack Swagger, and that book was interviews with the most successful trade is that had lived. And I started to read that book. You know what I realized? Most of them were just average people. They didn't come out of the womb with trader on their forehead. They had made tremendous success in the markets. They had struggles, just like people like you and I. They had stresses and family struggles. And and where is about retirement? Where is about making the bills and paying the bills and all that? And they separate themselves with an edge, and that edge is a strategy. It's a system what I love about bulls and bears were telling you you guys can learn a strategy, a system we talk all time of supply and demand we talk about, you know, understanding how to take good losses instead of huge losses. That's our mantra here. And so that is that we try to give you is the edge that you need. And if you don't find it here, find it somewhere, but involves specialized knowledge and separate yourself cause the masses. They'll never get it. Well, exactly that they'll never get in a lot of times. People won't take. You know people won't take the step. They won't get out of their comfort zone. They, you know, they got the 9 to 5 job You know, they were off on the weekends are making their you know, 60 grand a year, and they were in that complacency there, and they have no idea what's out there. You mean something? You said a long time ago. Champion. Oh, what are you worth? You know? Are you getting paid what you're worth? And what if trading investing can take you to the next level? Financially and again? That's the mindset. That's ah, going right? Backto. What is that? EJ? Who are you hanging out with that whole whole entire demeanor? The most successful people I know in this industry. They follow a rule based system. They've got parameters for every time they make a decision. They don't just make a decision because of emotion. They have specific rules They follow for why I'm getting into the price. Why I'm getting out of the prize. Why I'm not getting in a prize. And they have a long term pictures well of generation of consistency over time, which allows youto get some kind of a compound in growth in your in your wealth and your and your retirement. That's what it's about. And that edge involves you folks listening to us getting off your button going and find in a systematic approach. How to be successful and we do it. We bang the drum here..

They reached out to you. The seems like a perfect scenario for you. Do you need to make us call? Those guys are awesome. It's really impressive. What they're doing. And it's something I can definitely relate to because Cody the young bugs they invested and took a gamble on themselves. And they bet big. And now it shows that they were right? And that they knew something that was going to fall to the curve and really be a head of the game. And it's deathly fun to be a part of how they're doing their storytelling and how they're really moving the the needle for the first time in decades. On to be a part of it. We we spoken, and I think that will progress in the future. But you know, maybe maybe we should have them on here. Yeah. That'd be is there an offer on the table? Is that what you're saying? As of now, I can't tell you. What are the chances you make your debut for them later on this month? I think I would be you know, I don't wanna step in the Jon Moxley shadow. I think that's going to be a great debut for him. Hopefully, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. That's where we see him at. And you know, I think anything's possible. It's awesome. Awesome. To be a part of this. This is definitely why I left in two thousand seventeen because I knew that pro wrestling was going to have such big opportunities in new platforms for young businessmen who are serious, and we're trying to provide for the families to come out in excel and excelled the way you want to work with people you want to and build your brand the way you want to which is the most important thing. Whether you're pro wrestler or profiler you want leverage. And this is me the opportunity to increase more leverage for myself. It'd be a part of this. Is almost seems like you're talking the present tense. I mean, you are already a part of a w. You know, there's not a lot of investigative journalists on TV right now. You're really really getting good. I definitely want to be a part of it. I have been really busy with training camp. So talks have not gotten to that point yet. You know, like I said, I'm really slow heavyweight needs work on his foot work, but not his hair. Let's get the CEO of ruby on the phone Danny Rubinstein to close the deal. I like this for you A W, some weekends Bela. Tor other weekends business definitely picking up for Jake Hager. Well-done my man congrats on your success. Yes. Did you see all good ruby SE? There are a lot of questions that can be possibly answered on this car in Chicago area. Yeah. So this is the I think the biggest test of heavy piece career we've been wanting to fight someone like Douglas Lima for a long time to Sima former champion. So this is perfect great comb event. But let's talk about the main event here because it's Michael Chandler against petitio pit bull. That is the younger. Brother of tricky pit bull who Chandler has two wins against and is a great back story here. And I understand you're working on a feature on this particular flight for ESPN dot com. That's coming out in the next couple of days wise, it so special wisest fight..

Also, I appreciate that. You just lowered the word favorite. Was mean things. I love that man words mean thing. Perfectly and this for the first time ever. I'm gonna choose to go on and on because I will lose myself. I've not listened to this defending. How much time I have. Oh, that's right. You've got a job. Maybe this is a business meeting. Okay. It's marketing to emails right now. I'm fine. I'm fine. Definitely marketing. We're all right now. Right. Like this. Absolutely many hats. I was about the other day for page, so go you wanna story. Go ahead. Tell me story before the movie released why they were doing the QNA screen off Klay all of them quite well worth a guy to be removed. At did you see the person who ran after them? You get this guy in the second row who was like blue. Why are you doing a kid? Why would you chop boo? Boo us in the audience starts. We did. "And we'll get to those guys Herschel Walker as they get they actually had multiple fights to to produce. Again. I'm keeping these in my head and. Judging from the grand scale, and even if we do match the accolades outside of Emma may, you know, I'm not a big pro-ezln yet. So forgive me, but Jack swagger from Gregor Marrone. He wasn't the biggest Arlington Brock listener. He wasn't the best talker. You know that wasn't really his game. He didn't really get that consistent. Maybe that was part of the reason why he came over. He didn't get that consistent. Rub. And college collegiate wrestling again, I'm no head there. But everybody saw those NCAA covers with Brock listener on their the sports Illustrated's and and whatnot. And you really have to be in d Pitino who the even guy coming from Oklahoma Hooge, sometimes I'm grading from all these scales. And I he with all due respect he comes in considerably under who were putting them against them in these lists. So that's why I kind of stuck with the see there. Okay. All right. Let's go to the next one. When we'll go back to you to start off. Greg hardy. Okay. So we're going all the way back to contender series. What he did there? And then his one UFC fight. I have to say that if I'm coming into sport from the situation that I had in the NFL I'm going to try and be on my best behaviour. I thought any interview he gave was pretty decent. I it wasn't too bad. He made a splash you got some finishes, but the night of and I think it really did have to do with just the the crowd and all the pressure. He didn't really perform the way that he should have. He showed a lot of holes in his game. And it's to be expected. But I'm gonna give him a c okay. I'm gonna give him while. I was so caught up in what you were saying that. I haven't thought this out. He's three hundred one overall. I guess I would have felt like he had a going into the fight. And if he just loses. The little bit differently for one that was the legal knee and the the gas. I I wanna tribute the gas tank a little bit to an adrenaline dump the nerves, you know, what I mean, at least that's what I was watching because he's he's he's a world class athlete. I mean, he's done well in other sports. So I think I'm gonna go to go see plus c plus I wanted to say be minus he at one point was close to finishing Crowder. But he didn't. And then again, he just went downhill, so it probably would have been a b minus if not for that legal, and they'll go with c plus I think he should've known better that was his fourth fight..

Any as a lot to say Abie's articulate, so yeah, they're doing something right with him at the helm there. He's really entertaining. Really, really entertaining. You and you see how they do. All this kind of weird stuff. They will these guests on action. It's a fun show, man. It was really really fun show. I guess do a lot of shows and they messed me for a while just didn't work out. Really cool show was glad to do it yet out. It's out already. And we'll have a Martellus Bennett, which you do a food truck with Martellus Bennett. We launch this new kind of series called food truck diaries. Good just haven't seen it. It's on blow the belt YouTube right now, the first one we did with Jack swagger from the WWE and Ballatore he fought this past Saturday in got to win just how he thought he'd get a win and Jack Jack Hager is his real name. His WW name is Jack swagger and you'll you'll hear all about it on the food truck diaries with Jack. So the way this worked is for the re Belot. Alright. So you had Ryan Bater in town Ozzy fighting to become double champ champ. And they had Jack Hager in town there in LA the fight in the form. So they sent us both of them. Typically, the way we were going to shoot. Food truck diaries. You wanna do it separate weeks? So I don't have to eat to God emeals back to back so baiter came in. And we did Philly cheese steaks. I love a chili cheese steak delicious. So our two two of those Bater if you noticed during the video barely touches. His and I am scarfing mine down like a God damn cycle. I was starving because I I all morning, right. So I didn't eat all day. Then when you put anything in front of me, if it's not healthy. It's trouble because I'm so hungry when it down at while. I'm shooting food truck diaries. There's these delicious Philly cheese steaks, and I love Philly cheese steaks, so I- scarf. My if you notice while he's talking I'm like, I've cheese on my chin. My mouth is watering looking at his sandwich. It's a hot mess. So he's just talking away which he's supposed to do op staring at a sandwich. I finish mine. He barely touches. His the, Dan he goes, dude, you want this. I probably shouldn't ship my pants. They cut it. There will I sure as fuck eight that thing as soon as he. Left. I took that eight his eight nine that's to Philly cheese steaks. Now. Remember, I'm still kind of celebrating my first one hour comedy special. So I was all about this..

"I got some thick name ideas out. Go. With that. But ultimately, I wanted to break my professional wrestling pass because I feel like being a professional wrestler has definitely made me a better than they fight or I feel like because I wrestled at wrestlemainia and some of the biggest arenas in the world Madison Square Garden staple center, I was able to handle Saturday, even though it was my first fight. I was able to handle it like a pro go out there Kohl's other side pillow and take care of business. So why why run away from that? I agree. Now, why couldn't you go as Jack swagger for this one? Because I don't own the intellectual property rights for Jackson bigger. Okay. You're working on that. Yes. Okay. You feel confident you'll get it. You know, it's a lot of legal talk. But I I got great lawyers like my sister tested Hager. What? Help me with it. And so I feel confident in her. Okay. And just curious we the people under this umbrella, the enemy version, I imagine it doesn't mean the same thing as it did in your WWE life. Right. What does it mean? Right in the two thousand nineteen Jake Hager, we the people what does that mean? Well, I mean in this world, I feel like we only to be nice to each other. So I feel like we need to come together. And you know, admit that we're all here for the same reason to live. And so I feel like let's come together. I like I like, let's the people come together it's up fighting each other. But let's let's fight knock the gun. I I love love it. it, by the way, bell tours on an ox guy just wanted to. It's a circle. Right. I know I have a ways ago, but it's exciting where am I going to be in six months, where am I going to be in a year? I think I'm gonna jump levels very quickly now, especially since I had that I fide under my belt and with an eighty two inch reach it's gonna be hard to hide something. Hope you're doing well on this Monday afternoon. It is a frigid one here in Bristol, Connecticut. And we have a lot to talk about. So I'm happy you're here. Hope he had a lovely weekend. I did I went to Montreal. I was at a wedding was one of my best friends wedding. I was so happy to be there. But it was also very busy time in mixed. Martial arts, of course, because Beltre's back, and it seemed like and by the way Muslims to my friend who got married this weekend Juliane three happy for her. So bell tower was on this weekend. And it seemed like they had not been on the telly for quite some time over a month a month and a half to be exact, and they came back in a big way. Of course, the culmination of the bell tower heavyweight grand prix, and it ended in I wouldn't say shocking fashion. Because of course, I think a lot of us thought that Ryan bathe. Her was a favorite heading into the tournament. I think what was shocking was a how quickly it ended. And be that it ended almost the exact same way has fight against king. Moded the king MO fight lasted around fifteen seconds. The pheromone Eneko fight lasted around thirty five seconds. But it was the exact same punch look at that lead left hook. That's the king MO fight. That's not the Rhine. That's the fate or fight. Now. Here's the fate or fight. Exact same punch within seconds. Unbelievable. What a moment for Ryan Bater. He is now the bell tower heavyweight and light heavyweight champion. He is the double champ in belt or he wins their heavyweight grand prix as well. And now he has a lot of options and anyone who thought that his move from the UFC two bell tour signing that big creation contract. Anyone who thought that that was a mistake? Oh for sure you're covering the Dilshad versa. Hudo? Thank you, sir. Just wondering what your thoughts are if TJ were to beat pseudo. How would he do go up to one forty five trying to become a triple champ champ champ? I think you do pretty well. I think he's so goddamn competitive in touted and also a little crazy, but he'd be one of the most skilled fighters at forty five. I think you'd be a real threat up there. The size of max could be an issue. But it max is going to fifty five so TJ with other forty five or TJ against Brian Ortega TJ against Josie Aldo. I like his chances. I I think TJ matches up with well with everybody except max hallway at one forty five. He especially if mash does the fifty five and vacates his belt, you could definitely see TJ at the champ at one forty five. I'm almost positive has a legit wrestling background. Did he wrestled Oklahoma? Right. Going fucking crazy here. I'm pretty sure he has a legit actual amateur background, which is a problem for a lot of guys. Meaning he's going to beat a ton of guys. And is yet heavyweight. Saw her CO university of Oklahoma. He did wrestle university. Oklahoma. Yeah. You got problems on hand. Oh, yeah. Big problems, then heavyweight all-american Oklahoma. Yeah. So that's that's the difference. A lot of times see punk kind of painted a bad light on these WW guys come over to an MA. But there's a lot of guys. Josh barnett. Did professor wrestling Bobby lashes, a fucking monster Brock listeners a fucking monster. That's who he's fighting. He's gonna destroy J w Kaiser J w Kaiser's own one. It's it's a good thing. You get a warm up shut out to Jack swagger. I'm rooting for your buddy. He's gonna be a problem for people at Zia sneaker had big Brown excite for puncher season. Jan that it would you Stevie BJ J Loma versus pacman. Is there any chance of that happening? Of you. I do think Loma needs that big mainstream fight to break out and be complete superstar because his skills are by far better than anyone's out there in the world, but he was on blow the belt TV show when asked about finding many pack out. He was I know I'm good. He's like he's way past his prime. I wouldn't wanna do that. That does not them for me. I disagree. I think if you were to get a big name fight, which he needs so bad even a higher way class you'd beat those guys a he needs something of that magnitude and just needs to completely annihilate them so people like holy shit checkout. Fucking Lamichhane co what else yet figues Eighty-eight? What did you think about LeBron celebrating with the Rams because he was a Cowboys fan hashtag bandwagon? I don't think it's a ban. Right. I don't think he's like Drake situation. I think he knows somebody on the Rams and he was in. There celebrate they show them walking away in the locker rooms. Now, he's popping bottles with the fucking Los Angeles. Rams. I think he has a friend who played on the Rams probably went to douse with Satish it with. Them.
