"And at that point, understandably, there was immediate belief in a conspiracy that Oswald was silenced and that he was maybe he was, he knew about a conspiracy, maybe he was set up. But then there was this belief that Jack Ruby was part of conspiracy that silently Harvey Oswald, so we would never know the truth about the Kennedy assassination. And that has effectively turned the Kennedy assassination into an industry in which people have made so much money peddling theories about the Kennedy assassination, which so many of which don't stand up to scrutiny at all. I mean, there are books that are just blatant lies about the Kennedy assassination. There was a book I remember as a kid by a doctor named Charles Crenshaw, who was at the hospital where Kennedy was wheeled in after he had been shot. And so he wrote this book. I think it's called a conspiracy of silence. He later said that the people that wrote the book exaggerated his role in the whole thing, but it's just yet another book, you know, that was that the authors made money on it and blah, blah, blah, people will believe anything. They want to believe in a conspiracy. But the evidence, if you look at what happened with Jack Ruby, the evidence pretty much shows that it's pretty ridiculous to think he was involved in a conspiracy. As people who know the story, he was basically he was a nightclub owner in Dallas. And like many nightclub owners, he knew the police and he would go into the police station and basically he happened to be right in front of Oswald as they were trying to transfer him. It was on national TV. He stepped out, shot him. Now, this is a pretty violent guy he was known for beating up customers at least 25 previous occasions. Anyone who knew him said that he was too unstable to have been part of a conspiracy. A lot of people said the same thing about Oswald. But the reason we know that it's unlikely that he was ruby was involved in the conspiracy is because just moments before he shot Oswald, he was at a bank right next door. And at that bank, he waited patiently to wire money to an employee, and we have the date stamp on that in that transaction. 1117 a.m., and then literally 5 minutes later, he walked into the police station shot Oswald. Oswald was being held longer than he should have been because the interrogator wanted to get information out of him. But the timestamp was 1117 right before he happened to see Oswald. He waited patiently..

"Dan Abrams is a good friend of the program, especially when we had him on to talk about his books about Lincoln and John Adams. His newest creation is called Kennedy's Avenger, with his co author, David Fisher, Assassination, conspiracy and the Forgotten trial of Jack Ruby Dan. I was in Sam's Club this past weekend and couldn't resist picking up a copy, so I haven't read it yet True confession, But I'm about to begin it as part of my summer read because I love how you write. Oh, thank you so much. I appreciate that. Yeah, This is a This is a really interesting and exciting book to work on. You are a lawyer by trade, but you also are a reporter and have been a legal consultant for many of the networks. But you also, I think, put on your reporters camp when you get into this kind of research. Yeah, sure. I mean, you know that there is reporting on this. There is storytelling on this, but, you know, mostly this is the history, right? I mean, I sort of I often say that when I work on these books, I can't do it in spurts, right? I have to. I have to have like a block of time because I'm sort of transported back in history. And that's one of the really fun things about working on these projects. You transported back to history, where Jack Ruby assassinates Kennedy's assassin, and that's usually where history leaves it out, leaves it alone and we don't see what happens. Yeah, And And I think most people forgot about the trial of Jack Ruby. You know, I mean, it really has somehow been a Footnote to history. Um, but And it in case I mean, it was really an exciting trial and high profiles.

C between now and the inauguration just eight days from now. Also in the Big three The New York State Bar Association is lost an inquiry into this qualifying Rudy Giuliani's membership so you shall talk with ABC is Dan Abrams in a moment about that. Meanwhile, Patriots coach Bill Belichick says no, thank you to the presidential Medal of Freedom and rounding out the Big Three that governor turns a corner. Cuomo now says we have to get the economy up and running. He's the one who said we had to shut it down. And he says, we have to get it up and running even before the mass vaccination off New Yorkers, That's the big three. A couple of up Ah, programming notes. ABC is chief legal analyst and This new book looks good. You have a book coming out June 1st. It's called Kennedy's Avenger, Assassination, Conspiracy and the forgotten trial of Jack Ruby. Well, before we get to Rudy Giuliani, Dan, Welcome to the show. Uh, you got some new information all these years later on Jack Ruby. You know what's amazing is that most people forgot that Jack Ruby have trial. Yeah. Then many of the conspiracy theories surrounding the Kennedy assassination came from the Jack Ruby trial. And so we took the transcript of the trial. And tell the entire story about a case that has almost, you know, never been focused on on bits, not just about the trial, right? It's about everything else surrounding What was happening with regards to the Kennedy assassination. And, you know, while the trial itself wasn't about the conspiracy there is, you know, reference after reference to it, and it is sort of lurking in the background. Throughout this case, and you know, the amazing thing is that Jack Ruby died and instant map. Dan in your research for this book. Did you come across Dorothy Kilgallon. She was the famous journal American gossip columnist. And she was interviewing Jack Ruby in jail. And then she died very mysteriously. After her last appearance on What's my line? What do you make of that? Show in preparation for the book. I actually read a book that has theorized that, you know she was killed in an effort to sort of keep her quiet. I think it's a bit overstated. Meaning what? What? What? Really. She had a she had a couple of private conversations with Jack Ruby, not in jail that actually in the courtroom itself. During breaks and, you know, she had kept referring to the fact that she felt like she could break this case wide open. Ah, lot of what people have focused on is actually the transcript of the trial, saying she was in court every day. She saw things that other people didn't see. Um so you know. Look, I don't I think that it is definitely mysterious as to how a 50 something year old woman. Dies in her home that you know the cause of death was determined to be. I believe it was alcohol and barbiturates. But But there were questions about that. And people who were close to her question that you know this notion that somehow she had that single piece of information that was going to break open the case. I find a little bit hard to believe, but she's a great character. I mean, she was like, I remember covering the O. J. Simpson case, right? And they'd be like, you know Dominick Dunne or sort of the famous person who was there covering the case, And she was that for the Jack Ruby case. She was like the star who would come to court and everyone to be like, Oh, my God, There's Dorothy. There she is better. They were on with Dan Abrams, ABC chief legal analyst. The new book coming out in June, which sounds fascinating, just quickly refresh our memories about what happened to Jack Ruby on in the trial because she, of course shot on national television, Lee Harvey Oswald shot him to death Kennedy's assassin. So what was the outcome of that trial? Then let's Segway into Rudy Giuliani. All right. So I gave you the teas that he died. An innocent man. You know, it's a little bit of a tease is a closed toe the actual event he pled insanity, which was sort of in my view and absurd defense. He had a very famous lawyer named Melvin Bella, who represented him, probably one of the most famous lawyers in the country. At the time, he went to the insanity defense. Jury didn't buy it. Hey, was convicted. He was sentenced to death. And the the High Court of Texas overturned the conviction and he Woz given a new trial because they hadn't moved the case of Dallas that admitted certain things they shouldn't have admitted, and he then died in prison before his next trial. You all right with that cigar State Bar Association wants to kick out. Rudy, What's what Say you don't look. You know, the New York bar has a lot of autonomy. To do what he chooses to do. And you know they're going a lot of questions about what happens to some of these lawyers who are just, you know, making these absurd. On often simply false claims. But you know it's going to be interesting when you evaluate it right. For example, when Giuliani was arguing in the Pennsylvania case, and the judge pushed him on the question of Wait. This isn't a fraud case, if you no, No, no, This isn't a fraud case. So Giuliani will say I didn't. Why in anything that I've said for example, in court, I made arguments on behalf of my quack. The challenge for him is gonna be the various statements he's made outside of court..

"It's not help because we're a nation of disinformation. And you said fear I couldn't agree more. We've been talking obviously nonstop about the covert 19 crisis and And the implications of shutdowns and press reports that air rages and then not outrageous enough is a real Concern that fear is out of control. Let's get back though to the history and the work you did, because some of those programs I still scratch my head thinking. How do we miss this? But thinking back and looking back at your catalog, what would be an example of a real conspiracy for people? Tonto illustrate what a real one is. Yeah. So we just, You know, we just came out with the paperback book that top 10 greatest conspiracies of all time. And which I love that we got to finally put out every back 10. Years later, it took us and we put the top 10 conspiracy Now I won't ruin anything by saying number one is, Of course, JFK. Not in the cookie. Crazy way of, you know that that everyone and his brother tried to kill him. But asking those questions that do need to be answered, right? How does Jack Ruby get passed a station full of police officers. Killed Lee Harvey Oswald as Lee Harvey Oswald. It's been all that time in Russia, the height of the Cold War and male member of our own military, and no one has a word about him. It was a question that need to be answered him. And one of my favorites is the first one in their number. 10 on the top 10 conspiracy list is, you know, everyone knows the story of Abraham Lincoln when he did get killed by John Wilkes Booth. And if you look at any history book, it will tell you 12 days after he was shot. That John Wilkes Booth himself was killed in a barn years ago. I got a phone call from the family of John Wilkes Booth, and they contact me through their lawyer. They said. Listen We have information that says our relative, John Wilkes Booth wasn't the one shot that night in the barn. They got the wrong guy are relative actually escaped. He did we have the proof. Would you like to hear our story? Yes. I want to hear that story. Jordan, Right? You take that. So you take that cook. And those of the stories that we deal with is looking and we don't sit there to say that every story is the government's trying to murder you and kill you. The free Masons are trying to steal your baby's in your car. But we look at them and say, What are the right questions? And what is true here? You know, we didn't another one in there is the Cornerstone in the White House when the White House was built the very first He still was laid down is called the cornerstone and it was late in it now. Elaborate free Masons ceremony 24 hours later, the first piece that cornerstone the first piece the White House goes missing. And for nearly 200 years, everyone from Harry Truman to Barbara Bush went looking for it, and no one knows where it is. So we traced it to we were like, Let's go find it and you'll see the entire story of who saw it last where it was and what might have even been in it. And you know those stories are to be really fun because We all have access. The library of Alexandria in our pockets every single day. Our phones have vast amounts of information on them. But the hardest thing to find today on the Internet is the truth. Go put the word free Mason to.

"This message brought to you in partnership with Adah and Chad. In Jerry Lucas is fascinating new book where the Tour buses don't go, which is joins a crowd of you know, as I said before 800 guide books, but it is very distinctive in the way, he writes, and some of the places he Tells you about. You don't hear much about the Reed Dunning Memorial Park in ordinary books. You don't ordinary or cliche ridden tour books. You don't often find Jack Ruby's grave. You don't often hear the whole compelling story of Helen Brock or Andrew Cunanan or at Dean or those two charming Weirdos Patty Colombo and Lori Dan into how long did it take you to do this vote? Jerri. It's funny. You know, one of your other guests had mentioned the swooping and bashing styles of writing. Yes, and from my whole life every time even 1/5 grade composition. I was a basher staring change mess around until what I came out with was utter. Yeah, Available stopped, You know, And then I throw up my hands and walk away with this book. I actually evolved from how into a super And I think it's because all these years of things crammed Yeah. Years. Yeah, all the neighborhood talk that I knew the basic story, Right? So for me, it was just sort of backtracking and actually having to nail down exactly dressed well, you did You know, one of the other nice things about the book is you You did a lot of research and you cite a lot of places and you recommend other websites on it. It's You're sort of giving kind of author. You're not this, you know, holier than now know everything. And I think that is a huge, huge bonus for the book. You have a really Creative side. I mean, I know that you wrote a song that was in that run Howard movie. How does How does that happen? How did that I had a publisher, Music publisher. That was so old. He sold Sophie Tucker. My God. Your father didn't know this was your father. Oh, no. I could have done my great grand. OK, but he heard that Ron Howard was looking for a song for the film and he submit their mind and you know, it's better to be lucky than good in a lot of cases and and run our chose mine. And so it's just a little little conversation piece for me. And you still get royalty checks for how much? How much? Oh my god dot the biggest I ever got any year was about 7 50 a day least I ever gotten a year was about $60. That's not bad. That's not that. You also I know you were on this stage You were on with Bob Collie, I You know, I don't know this I know from your book because you talk about Bob Collins and your And that you were on his show talking about a game that you had developed. I have developed a game called Rock and Roll Trivia. And Bob Collins was very heavily into rock and roll. Yeah, he was kind enough to have me on his show where I had the first chance to make a fool out of myself on the radio. You're not doing that now, man. You're good. You're good. You're good. Well, you know, one of the ways I really wanted to write. The book is I didn't want to write it. Number one, you know, ponderous way were nothing like I know everything and you don't write. I threw out things. I threw out my own conjectures and I and I said, you know, I can't prove this. This is what I think, right? Here it is. Well, In fact, I even give one ghost story that I am. I'm like psychically challenged. I mean ghosts either. They're afraid of me or I just can't Pick anything up. But, you know, for years of wandering through graveyards, where most of the time I never get anything, and I had one little my own ghost story with my wife up in Richmond, Illinois, eyes up near the Wisconsin border, So I threw that And I mean, now that I know is in the other book, and I can't prove it and I can't document it's just here It is. You know, believe it. Don't believe it. We're other thing I wanted to do is I wanted to let people you know, in reading the book, pick out what they really wanted to see. And maybe they're not interested in this. This this They are interested in this this this and again if you want to find out more about it. I tried to steer him in the right direction to learn more about it. Yeah. You really killed that pages and pages? Yeah, I guess I totally I totally get that and you also You know, you also follow your own interests. I mean, it's It's so obvious to me that you are more much more interested in the lives and and legends of Ah Two fellows named Ricardo in Jean Connor than you are and going over the old old Well trod Capone stuff and you have Have Sam Giancana's last meal, Right? Dine like a mafioso. I wrote about MGM kinda, and then I just happen to know. That a time somebody took him out in his Bassano park. He was preparing an Italian meal. Sure. And then I thought, Well, I'll throw in the rest of, you know, I don't think many guidebooks have recipe. No, it's a You know what it is. It's a friendly friendly guide book. It is literally like To me. You're the kind of guy who would be fun to sit next to on a couple stools at the tavern. I mean, it's a kind of I think every tavern in Chicago the shrinking number of taverns. Should should literally have this book you've got. You know Jack Ruby's grave site, for goodness sakes. Gee, I had no idea Jack Ruby because he is great, you know, And you know what I find now? We have in this in our music system, our music library. We have songs and some of them are labeled hook. And those are just the chorus usually and those air for music testing audiences when we when we gather together when we used to do things We gather together like 100 people in a ballroom in a hotel and we would ask that we'd play like 100 hooks for them, And so are you tired of the song Or you like this song, Or do you want to hear more of this? We were always very curious how people feel about Ruby by Kenny Rogers very curious about that in the country stations because we all share the same system because we have a country station across the hall. And they do the music testing as well. And that's that. That is what that is in, therefore is just play the hook of the songs. Oh, yeah, I'm tired of that one or So it skipped ahead, skipped ahead for for that reason, but that you were denied the full ruby. The full denied the full ruby. D. that Jack ruby you know was this strip club owner he was always on which was owned by a traffic Kansei was another Marshall there was there was a there was a strong connection but I mean illegal activity kind of begets other types of illegal activities it's not too much of a stretch and Oswald confided a detective with now that all he ever wanted to do is be a hero and he says I guess I screw that up but again that could be a convenient cover story absolutely not in a review committee goes to prison diagnosed with cancer shortly after that and then dies there is you know some wire transfers of money from an off shore account ruby sister that has a follow up on etcetera so order who's doing investigations in the ruby Dorothy Kilgallen dice yes she does she does have a very very mysterious circumstances as well Mike in Colorado welcome to the show hi Michael good morning George thank you so much for taking my call important day in our history a couple of comments about the Kennedy assassination first of all one of the very the very interesting theories is the magic fully bullet Terry which the bullet hit Connally then JFK than the driver it's very interesting to note that this is one of the only assassinations and history where that situation play out like that and also George I know you're picking kit is when we talk about mind control we will go live look at the Reagan assassination with John he Klay attempt attempt areas assassinations your time Sir answer hand do you think that the CI a could have been targeting Oswald thank you George what do you think of that Paul well I was always like I do the Manchurian candidate well I've never been a big fan of the magic bullet theory number one when you think about it the bullet caused you know seven wounds into people broke broke a couple of bones yet emerges pristine and the circumstances surrounding the finding of the bullet it was found by orderly on a Gurney and there's no indication that governor Connally had even that on that Gurney so so you know the bullet was recovered you know is is dubious at best the caller said something to that that I wanted to touch on the bullet didn't hit the driver eight it it.

"Of her columns at one point this was in Britain a rumor that she had heard from someone in. British top brass sure about about the British military having inspected a crashed saucer that was as early as the early fifties and. people have have attempted to tie that together wondered about the possible connection with with Jack ruby but it's good to know that you're going to be going in that direction do you know what happens is that would you start to you know develop well one episode after another and characters that work come back or for example you cast a particularly terrific actor and you want to use a more so for example a year ago I probably would have told you that Jack ruby was going to become the main character that is becoming but not only have we found so many interesting connections for the guy but we also love the actor that plays them and we'll we'll be does using the entire Jack ruby story line and it's fascinating we travel and self in prison he was killed mysteriously in prison yeah that he said also of course that the truth about this would never come out in our lifetimes well that's what we're going to say that John lone guard testified to the Warren Commission and that is testimony was sealed until nineteen ninety nine. all right east of the Rockies you're on the air with Bryce Zabel high. warning artists got the KFX country Wichita yes Sir well I'm about twenty eight miles straight out there okay right track we have three quickies for your grass rice then I got a comment for you all right go ahead okay I haven't seen dark side yet but I plan to watch battery he. yes or no no you're not it's not on its gates got a two week hiatus thank you very much baseball or okay well next question when okay want to get on my wall what make sure watches three quick ones do you thinking about maybe putting something to do with the Apollo thirteen fly. why don't occur one of the things that just give you sort of an inside and how dark skies approaches its story selection Apollo thirteen thirty had a big movie done about it and a lot of people are talking about it our attempt would be probably two if we can't find something really really cool to do about Apollo thirteen we have another take and we in fact how many Apollo flights were there they were supposed to be seventeen right Apollo seventeen we will do the story of Apollo eight did not of course of course and you know I I have a guess frequently you may know his name Richard Hoagland for I know him well yes he is convinced and has convinced many there are a lot of artifacts on the moon from an ancient civilization and it's it's not so wild price because right now here on earth archaeologists are beginning to figure out that the the for example the sphinx the pyramids are far far older than we previously that way and so that leaves room for something that may have been here long ago and that must be awfully tempting. it's so tempting I can't stay away from that we will be doing art effect we have at the very next episode is called mercury rising and it deals with a sort of a black ops program within the NASA program and it does have to do with a secret moon base and I think you'll be very intrigued by it I knew it I suppose you guys are having fits at the two week hiatus after just two episodes how unfair it will it it's not and and but on the other hand I don't necessarily blame in BC because they they wanted to put us on the air and get their their new Saturday night lineup once so they did the right thing there and and it's I guess it's not their fault that they have to go up against baseball and I you know I guess to their credit they're not sacrificing is against well I mean they've got baseball they have to put it on so I think this just like I say is I don't think NBC will be holding us responsible for having great numbers when we return and maybe will surprise everybody maybe you will indeed a lot of people be waiting west of the Rockies you're on the air with Bryce able hi eight thank you guys to give the between radio and TV we got some light into the dark isolated lives out here hello good I wanted to see a couple of things the if god is words children how can we keep calling his messengers a billion. and evolution spelled backwards is no it you love. another thing Mars might be a picture of earth a couple hundred years now especially when you look at that upside down spinning area that they don. then maybe we'll do gooders another couple intended years right where are you there California California all right Bryce what about god you know she mentioned god will the series. in any way touch on a creative force I think you can't do it. about another life form that is perceived as off one to ours and not get involved with what is god and is is this god god to everybody and and I think these are all issues that affect them with tell you what we were doing it up so that takes place during the Alaska earthquake where it's about it's about faith and whether you you know what you believe in and so forth and is is quite interesting the the issue you raised listen I I don't have any great answers to the the ultimate mystery of the universe but I think that you cannot do a show of this level without looking square in the eye of of the idea of a creator and and coming up with at least some take on it so will give it a shot will you play with the concept that those aliens created us. these what your verging into the one thing I would probably because I want to make for a very fun ride for the the fans who'll take the ride with us yes I I can't reveal. that's fine plans that we have that's what let's put it this way the interaction that has been experience has probably been going on a great deal longer than the nineteen forty seven and it need not be confined to simply one species of aliens that's all I could say well that was going to be another question will there be other species and you just really answer that yes there will whether there will be a although again I I want to make it clear once people start if people can either if we start doing things that that begin to appear repetitive or we get in a rut or or people start to think that they figured it out completely they were going to change your game and we're going to try to become unpredictable and surprising one one episode might be an interesting absurd about some poor talk show host who gets a bunch of Roswell part sent to him I must say I I called up your website and I was just reading about that and and I I find it fascinating because what's I I had a similar kind of experience offer to me last year that did not reach fruition as as your seems to have and and I'm I'm fascinated what do you make a do you think these are the real deal. yes it appears that way it when I say real deal these are either extraterrestrial artifacts or they are the government artifacts that have come from back engineered. laughed at either way it's important hard evidence at night did you maintain a chain of you.

"A look this morning about the the passing of Texas police officer excuse me love fell in love L. was the guy escorting Lee Harvey Oswald pass the news media after it assassinated John F. Kennedy was a communist by the way Lee Harvey Oswald that's why he killed John F. Kennedy he shot him in the head murder because you know Oswald was a communist and communists murder people it's what they do now fifty six years later Jim Lovell passed away yesterday the age of ninety nine ninety nine years old that's one beer bottle this side of a hundred and fifty six years issue after the assassination of John F. Kennedy and as looks at this morning well looks like they finally silenced him finally shot him up that's at the last the last thing in the conspiracy they ninety nine year old as the guy who's walking out he's got the white suit on and the white kind of whitish Stetson hat so the summer suit November but we'll let that slide big guy and he's got his left wrists handcuffed to Lee Harvey Oswald's right wrist and they're walking out and Jack ruby leaped between the news media between the press and jumped in and and shot now one of the and killed now one of the guys there is I I you know I was in the news business when I was young cub and there was a a reporter for CBS news by the name of IT Pappas that some people might remember I know him I lived in my neighborhood my childhood and dad might my step father worked with them and so on and Mike Pappas was a family friend and he was a friend of mine when I when I grew up right Pappas was the the the news correspondent that was shoved out of the way by Jack ruby in order to make room for Jack ruby's arm to come forward and shoot job we are the Oswald and kill Lee Harvey Oswald launching dot thousand conspiracy theories and and I don't believe any of them I believe that we are the Oswald drug shot and killed John F. Kennedy because we are we are told was a communist and that's that's what I do but my friend Ike Pappas I mean I just I get marred time about this Joe his final days practically every time I saw my just died I I had a hand gesture that I would you like if you just raise your hand if you're just going to scratch your head you could have changed the course of history if you're an aggressive reporter when this guy showed you you're supposed to shove back you're supposed to throw shot him in if you're just come on the a push the guy yes your gun just not his arm out of the way you could change the course of human history but no no no you just got pushed out of the way by a communist and then look what happened I used to say to him okay fun small amounts of humor in it but maybe not enormous amounts of humor in it six times Biden describe major events in his life that never happened this is a fun with this is the Washington examiner I think isn't I didn't done actually say is sometimes it prints out the way that it prints out it eliminates the source of the the thing a lot of good men is the writer item number one six times Biden's did describe major events in his life that never happened and that's because he told the story about that you know is pending a metal on somebody didn't want to write a navy captain repelling down hill in Afghanistan any he confused a number of different stories and jumbled them together in his twisted mind but here we go from a lot of good men Joe Biden has twice recently claimed that he met with parkland Florida shooting survivors when he was vice president despite the fact he was already out of office when the attack took place campaign study misspoke naturally and all of this good stuff in nineteen eighty eight Biden was forced to drop out of the presidential race asked after he was found to have exaggerated his academic record plagiarized a law school essay and use quotes from another politician in his speeches without attribution but these are not the only questionable claims Biden is made and a lot of good men puts together six additional items from Joe Biden's not so distant past where he made things up Joe Biden said as helicopter was forced down near Osama bin laden's layer in Afghanistan it's a layer so as my mountain top like doctor evil my mountain top layer Biden claimed and multiple speeches in two thousand eight he knew where Osama bin laden was hiding because his helicopter had been forced down nearby in the mountains of Afghanistan and day told the stories transcript of telling the story and all that stuff of course it never happened that that just never happened didn't happen number two Biden said he was a coal miner this call nowadays is coal miner's daughter I'm proud to be cool mine in Democrat ed well running for president in two thousand eight Biden told the United mine workers that he had been a coal coal miner and and and he said no I I hope you don't hold against me said but I'm a hard coal miner anthracite coal Scranton Pennsylvania that's what I told him the button campaign watered later told the Associated Press that the comment was a joke it was a joke she was a little joke but it echoed another false claim it made about coming from a family of coal miners while he was campaigning in nineteen eighty eight he referred to his ancestors he said who worked in the coal mines of northwest Pennsylvania and what come up after twelve hours and play football for four hours is out that line was actually plagiarized from a speech by British politician Neil Kinnock whose family actually did work in coal mines in two thousand four Biden acknowledged that he did not have family members who worked in mining buddies said again and again he was a minor family reminders none of it was true but that's okay Biden said he was shot at in Iraq they like this one night Brian Williams said this Hillary Clinton member Hillary Clinton in Bosnia this is a great when the Hillary Clinton of Bosnia thing when she said she dodging bullets and on CBS news video surfaced of Hillary Clinton actually being received by a group of including children little girls with flowers in a receiving line on the tarmac in Bosnia I remember landing under sniper fire it was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles three lives to get to our base yeah I get to our base and then and then she crawled in with a K. bar clinched entered teeth and she personally killed Osama bin laden and then rob o'neill took credit for it she's she's all upset about that because she is she was swinging from lions are boarding pirate ships off the horn of Africa she well she was being shot at she claimed that she was shot in Bosnia was all a lie I was why there was a receiving line she said there wasn't now they had to Dodge bullets that was a lie there was no that everything was a lie she just lies all the time they lie all the time by Jenny was shot in Iraq in two thousand seven Biden claimed he was shot during the Iraq war while visiting the green zone it turns out while he was there one mortar round landed nowhere near him in the green zone and that's about as close as it gets Biden said he called Slobodan Milosevic a damn war criminal to his face now try said it to his face today he is there was really good stuff and and then it came out that he did have a meeting with a doctor but I introduced himself had a nice conversation and and when they talked Milosevic reacted with aplomb aplomb according to that's a writing of of the story by The Washington Post there was no such a moment Biden said he'd precipitated a sit in at segregated restaurants and movie theaters he is a true leader of the civil rights movement he founded us Nick and now he did he didn't do anything of the kind in the nineteen seventies and eighties Biden regularly claimed to have been an activist in the civil rights movement and said he participated in sit ins along U. S. route forty in Delaware in nineteen sixty one when I was seventeen years old is that I participated in sit ins to desegregate restaurants and movie houses in my state I was Delaware even segregated at the time and and it was none of it was true of course nannies talk about how he's leader of the movement and Delaware is a teenager and and he had it all he had it all he is is all about civil rights and and not not the case not the case much later he said I was involved in what they were thinking what they were feeling but I was not out marching I was not down in Selma I was not anywhere else I was suburbanite kid who got a dose of X. composure to what was happening to black America so later he admitted he claimed repeatedly that he was out and is actively involved in said a name the year named as age talked about drugs specifically respite and it was all made up but yet is a Democrat so that's okay Biden said he criticized George W. bush during a lengthy private meeting in the oval office and he claimed in two thousand nine he spent a lot of hours alone with president George W. bush and bluntly rebuke to the president over as foreign policy decisions bush aides that not came out two thousand I'd said they don't recall bite never actually meeting alone with the president at all or ever making any remarks of the kind but but that's alright because he's lunch bucket Joe LBJ he is he's a Democrat and when you're a Democrat that's what she gets like a box of cracker Jack site you know what is authentic he's real he's like uncle Joe like uncle Joe was a we got a Kennedy assassination it says sounds like a conspiracy thing doesn't sound like conspiracy kind of a dangerous a place to go you think what do you think thing is dangerous place your shin shingle yeah okay yeah I don't I don't want to get into the Kennedy assassination yeah upper is there no not yet I talked about it enough now we're gonna have your real quick we're gonna have to go I will go to the front and probably an error in judgment on my part let's go to Bob calling from Ohio Bob you're on the Chris Plante show hi Chris I was in your program gaily and I agree I agree with ninety percent of what you say regarding pull politics and so forth but.

So James was in high school when president Kennedy was shot. You get called into you said the cafeteria auditorium. They had the whole school come into the toys, and I can only imagine how popular president Kennedy was with that age group at that time. What was the reaction of your classmates one when they made that announcement? It was just like a family member died charting, of course, not long after that. He of course, his dad there when he was shot, but we didn't know that until later. But but it was it was a family member listener family number. But that's really the only one. I know Eisenhower was president before. Really wouldn't much into politics. So with Kennedy was. Oh. Camelot? And then he gets killed assassinated. Do you want to find most? I mean, I wasn't alive for that. My foot. My folks were I always ask about that. And they have similar similar stories where they were at school. And and I think I think my mom's case they dismissed school. They were like all right, everyone leave. I think they let us out of school. I think the news. On time. No doubt, the most the most fascinating part of or intriguing. I should say part of that whole saga in Dallas. Was the fact that Jack ruby killed him on television. You know, like how does that happen? Yeah. It was live tell live television. They're bringing Jack ruby out of the police station. Oswald police station and a strip club owner comes in with a gun and shoots and live on television. Like watching that live be like what the hell's going on in this world after everything that went on like that. And you know, exactly crazy. I think this makes his fifth or sixth time. Yeah. And twice and on kick yesterday. He's only going to be endorsing double Donner's at this point, Oregon hit the crossbar and the upright. That's the only thing worse, Tom, and Cody Parker missing that kick is being named. Cody Parker power. That makes it a hundred times worse. Why does ain't nobody ever gonna forget that name Steve Bartman, Bill back nurse or O J? His name was Barron garden third. Nobody be talking about today. And the way Mr. team and the ball hit the upright lack pause for two seconds changed direction crossbar then change direction. Again, if he don't believe in the magic bullet theory. Very party better. Be thankfully, been locker room for Jack Ruby's. I agree with you. Tom kickers the worst. It's almost unchristian. Same thing. Just happened to my mom. Vanities and not on purpose that sometimes a DJ start the music. I always double klatch and stop the table. She was wrapping down the pole to dead silence. The rhythm is a dancer in bed air just adds to the shame. Kickers trying to get the pound town after putting a rubber on backwards. Backer, burn your tongue.
