"So a half hour away from white sax baseball to pregame show as white sacks. Try to, uh At the fourth and final game of the series. After dropping the first three humans can be the one to give us a spark. He's six and want out a lot. Yeah, he did. 613 78 year a lance McCullers three and one with a 2 89 earned run average. And McCullers said. Yeah, he, uh He, he learned from Dallas Chemical and Chemical said, Yeah, He's like a little brother and all that kind of stuff. Well, hopefully he didn't teach him. Everything hopefully didn't teach him enough. And he thought the White Sox hitters something that could help back off a landslide Colors and the Astros today 3123323776 the Cubs lineup is out. And if you're watching the Cubs game yesterday, After you got done throwing up because they got beat 11 to 1. There was a situation in the sixth inning bottom of the sixth inning. Two outs, Jack Peterson pops up And the balls seemed like at least where the catcher was going. It was towards the on deck circle by the club's dugout, so Jack Peterson starts walking to the dugout. Guys guys going to catch is going to catch. It's going to be over. The ball. Comes back and is caught. About 10 FT. Towards the pitcher's mound in fair territory. Wow, while Jack Peterson is probably taking his helmet off in the right, putting his stuff in his cubby, So if you're the manager Baby. I got you see what I did that? Yeah. So if you're the manager, and you see this, you give him a free pass because apparently David Ross is Guys leading off of your Chicago Cubs play left field is Jack Peterson. Do they have a better option? It doesn't matter at that light. I see what you're saying. You've got Ortega. You've got other guys that can actually go and play the outfield right now. Now, Rossi is done. You know, he's made statements like this before. So why isn't he this time? That's a good question. I think about earlier in the year it happened with buyers and buyers didn't get sat down after either. Yeah. Personally, I don't have a huge problem with it. I really don't I don't think that you don't think punishing them for one game is going to help in an 11 to 1 game. You need this game and Jaak Peterson, you're already Seeing guys drop. Who do you want to see out there? Jack Peterson or Jason Heyward? That was that was like the Yeah. This is an important game for the Cubs. Yeah, I know. It's only June. You cannot get swept at home by the Marlins. You shouldn't you can't. So, yeah, you shouldn't do you need Jack Peterson out there, and I think the message that is sent behind closed doors means a lot more than the message that is sent by benching someone for again. We just hope that there is a message closed doors because it's not the first time Jack Peters has done this stuff this year. He hasn't run out balls that he's over gone, and they actually bounced off the right field quality. We're standing at second when he should have been a third. Uh, he hits a ball that he thought was a home run. It turned out to be a sack flight never left the batter's box. It's like You know, And I know some fans think that's cool, but If you're one of the guys that busted his ass to try to get to the other pros, and you see guys on your team doing that kind of stuff. It feeds off of that. All of a sudden you're lazy was I don't have to hustle that He's not hustling. Why do I have thought right and we saw a lot of it The sacks game yesterday, said Larry Garcia. There was nothing worse than having Larry Garcia at bat when he's hurting, and he can't can't swing at the ball. And he takes three awful, But that's not, But that's so if you're hurting are you taking? Are you just wearing a bad pitches just to go sit down? I don't know. I maybe he shouldn't have been out there either. You shouldn't have been Jake Lamb didn't play yesterday, he could have been out. Their 3123323776. We go to Tom in the northwest side. Hello, Tom. Hey, Tom. Hi guys. I always enjoy listening to your banter wondering what do you think now of the Cubs getting rid of Schwarber when people in Washington love him, he said, like four or five home runs in the last couple of games. Yeah, he's been. He's got 15. I think for the season he had two yesterday and had helped Leicester get a victory. Yeah, I'll tell you and look at Victor. Sarah Teenie winning walk off for months like crazy and he was a throw in in the Darvish field. What do you think of that? I know I look. Look, Tom, look how bad to catching ones yesterday. They brought this kid lobaton up. And then yesterday they were just running on, Uh, other cubs all day yesterday. I can't remember how many stolen bases they had. Let me see here Couple 12345. They had five stolen bases yesterday. The Marlins did Look at McCann. I'll tell you I'd rather have him any day than what Grandal has shown. I agree, or what is it is Grand Valley is horrible. $74 million, you know, agrees Yeah. Time. Great call is always I agree with you. I will say though McCann has come down on the on the offensive side. He has come back down to earth. He has his defensive defensively. Great. You know the ground. All thing is just it's almost like a science experiment. You've got this guy that has O p B of, uh, you know, as our base is ridiculous, right? Yeah, I got it here and then, But his batting average is pretty bad is batting averages either Striking out walking or home Run hitting home runs 1 62 averages on basis. 3 85 home runs. How many? He has 10 and 24 r b. I s So is that base percentages? 3 85 that is number one of the no. Moncada is is 403. So Moncada is 403 from Dallas, 3 85 runs his Grendel scored. Do you have that in front of you? Yeah, he scored 32. Which is Let's see here. 32 is got to be in the top second tied for second other team in runs scored along with the brave You see, so arguably him getting on base walking. Has created good situations in a lot of ways. One thing my father taught me this, uh, this father's day and let us know if anybody else anything you had as we're here, walk is as good as a hit and walk is never as good as a hit ever. Um people say, Well, the bases loaded walks as good as a hit. No. When you get a hit, you score two rugs likely you walk. You get wondering if nobody's on base. I watched not as good as a hit. I guess if nobody's not base, it is if nobody's on base. That is the only way that watch as good as a hit, and I don't on base percentage is so important right now. My dad would always tell me to in little league. Okay in little League. You're not supposed to be taking walks. Okay, Little league. It's your chance to actually swing the bat. Well, yeah, it's an instructional league. You're supposed to be playing a game. There's nothing fun about taking a walk. Not really. Unless the lesson F case the bases are loaded. Your score run. But in little league My dad used to tell me if you can reach it swing at it. If you can reach it swinging. Heard that if you can reach your swing at his dad, Vlad Guerrero here hated he hated watching kids take called Third strikes are taking a strike and then having to walk back to the dugout. Everybody. I would just say, Listen, when you get two strikes if it's close swing at it. Look, look, And if I could do it over, there are some times where I just was afraid. You know, as a kid just don't And you and and they called third strike was the worst you've got to swing at whatever you have. That's the only way you're going to learn to hit. Do you think there's one major leaguer that's afraid to strike out anymore? In today's baseball? No, it's It's all the raid. Yeah, they don't care. Say it's an out and out and out and out. No, it's not and I'm starting out. You put the ball in play. You don't know what can happen. You put the ball in play more tomorrow and we'll talk to Jesse had a nice article today about all the things that baseball is going to be doing starting tomorrow because of the umpires being able to check for substances. We'll talk about that in a minute, but Yeah, putting the ball in play more. You never know what's going to happen. You put the ball in play against the white sacks..

"A moment. Jack Peterson. With a line drive to right field. Brandon allow playing in the shift out in right field, lunging diving to his right, gave it all he had and the ball just ticking off his glove into right field for a two run single. Jack Peterson to give the Dodgers of 6 to 5 lead to go into the bottom of the seventh. Peterson stays in the game at left field. Taylor moves from left to center. And allow with his head buried in his hands in the dugout at his inability to catch the ball, But he gave that a 10 out of 10 effort. It's just the ball was hit about an inch or two too high for him to get his love on which I mean he dove as far as he could, but it was above him. And what a play. So we go bottom seven. Pedro Baez back on the mound for the Dodgers. Mike Zunino leads it off for the Rays swinging this ball down and in its own one Zunino here, Meyer Dia's 89 and one In the Rays lineup. Coming up here in the bottom of the seventh Heaven. Cash still has at least one more card to play off the bench at some point, and that's Joey Wendell. Janina will walk in to strike out tonight as he takes a fastball up it in. Check the swing on it's a ball in a strike six runs. 11 hits, no errors for the Dodgers. They left. 75 runs six hits, no heirs for the Rays. They have left to bias gave up a homer to give up the lead. The Dodgers just got it back for him is 11 is swung on and foul to back out of play one too. Victor.

And he delivers our pencil performance of the day Villager back in March, 2 to swing and a drive day bright, failed. Swear Bellenger watches it go hair. Naughty Ballenger. "League Championship Series on ESPN Radio and the ESPN. All right, so we go to the bottom of the fourth. Back and forth. We go. Braves led to nothing. Dodgers tied it in to Braves have taken a 32 lead but had a chance for Mohr ran themselves into a couple of outs on the bases. Still not entirely sure. I haven't seen the replay of whether Riley was definitely out at third or don. Did you get a look at it? That secret? Definitely get him. I think you definitely got him before that left foot. It was closer than what it appeared to be The naked eye. When we saw it live I thought he was host is a throw beat him. Not good baserunning by Austin Reilly Dansby Swanson. It makes sense. You're going on down angle. That's the mindset conversation. The new picture will be the lefty Tyler Matt sick as he delivers upstairs Ball one. Jack Peterson. It'll be Peterson and then Taylor and then bets. Matt has been really good. This post season seven and two thirds innings. He's given up just one run that he has struck out 13 the pitch. And that clips the top edge of the strike zone, and it's one I'd want. Justin Turner also got extremely lucky diving for Swanson. Barely getting us pleat. He misses.

"We'll talk some college football with him. John MacLean longtime NFL writer at the Houston. Chronicle. Join us at eleven eastern eight Pacific. We'll talk some NFL with him. But we begin with a record breaker last night. And major league baseball is the the clock tick tick tick past three thirty in the morning and the Los Angeles Dodgers who have not won the World Series in thirty years kept their hopes alive by beating the Boston Red Sox with a rare who walk off home run at least rare in terms of the World Series three to the final in this one. What a game it was. I'll be honest. I did not stay up till three thirty in the morning. To see the end. I'm disappointed that I didn't put I fell asleep. I didn't make it. It was a long week, and I just beat myself up because I would have loved had. I not been so tired last night falling asleep. I would have stayed up until three thirty in the morning to watch the game. And fortunately long week for me. And my son was sick. And things got a little crazy. So I couldn't stay up on it. So I missed it. And obviously watched all the highlights and read all the recaps this morning. And it's painting me this morning that I did not watch the end of his game. And I don't know how many people did unless you're a Red Sox are a dodgers fan. Even some of those especially Red Sox on the east coast may not have made it all the way till three thirty in the morning eastern. But that's exactly what happened. What a game Mookie Betts. Excuse me Jack Peterson. It's a home run early to give the dodgers a one nothing lead. Jackie Bradley, jR, ties to game in the eighth inning and on and on we go some sloppy defense led the team scoring runs in the thirteenth. Ian, Kinzler had a chance to win the game for the Red Sox and the bottom of the thirteenth, but he made a bad throw. The ran the runs scored the game was tied. And that set it up for the drama Matt's Muncie guy was cut. A year ago ends up being the hero coming off a great season. And the dodgers win it three two in eighteen yet a catcher running over a batter. It was a bizarre bizarre game. That led to where we are here, and that's Red Sox leading to one and all the dodgers still trail in the series. They are home for game. Four tonight too short turnaround. And the Red Sox are gonna use a pitcher at they're not all that comfortable using. The Red Sox in this game. Rich hills gonna pitch for the dodgers. The Red Sox are good either have to go drew Pomeranz who hasn't pitched in forever. And you know, they're gonna have to figure it out of native Aldi was supposed to pitch the game today. Obviously he went a long way in yesterday's game. And he gives up the walk off home run through. I think like ninety pitches. The pay through a c. I don't know finding the pitches right here, we go. He threw ninety seven pitches. So see out of it for today. They threw David price out of the bullpen. Both teams use nine pitchers in the game. Walker? Buehler was great for the dodgers evolved. He was great for Boston till giving up the walk off home run. Both bullpens did a tremendous job only. One earned run allowed by each bullpen. Get a million strikeouts. Thirty four strikeouts in the game and eighteen innings. So many missed opportunities. You look at the top of the Red Sox lineup bets and Bogart's were over fifteen with a walk. And J D Martinez came out of this game for a pinch runner. Very very early was a wild game. A lot of batting averages. Crushed. But that doesn't really matter at this point. Congratulations of the dodgers forgetting that game and really having a chance to get back in this series with the pitching advantage tonight. You know, the dodgers win this game. They got a great shot to come back and win this series. Red Sox win it. They're back in control three one. Not that. You couldn't come back. We just saw two years ago when the cubs came back down three one against Cleveland, but nobody's ever come back down three on the World Series. In fact, we've only seen a team come back down three oh ever in the playoffs. And that was the Red Sox against the Yankees. Dave Roberts was a part of that team. Of course for the Red Sox. So just a just a wild wild game that I'm sure many if you let me do not see the end of and it's. I just can't stop beating myself up as drive me nuts. I would have been so much fun to stay up and watch that game. But what are you gonna do? Anyway. Some people either complaint would be like, hey, I ended up going to sleep. I couldn't stay up can watch it. These things are gonna happen. You don't often have seven hour twenty some odd minute baseball games. But to me, this is one of the things even though it might sound crazy to end the game was local local time, obviously about twelve thirty and in the east coast three thirty, but that's one of the special things to me about baseball. Is that like a game could just go on forever? It's possible. You never know for all we know that could've been still playing this morning. And to see something you've never seen to see the longest game ever, the the most pitchers or whatever it may be the c team survive. And now to see what's going to happen in game two. Following that survival? How are these guys affected David price a native all these not pitched in every game? David price is pitched in two of three the Red Sox philosophy with Alex Cora. And I like it as been we go for it every game. But could it come back to haunt them here at this point in the season? We're almost at the end of October guys have blog a lot of innings thrown a lot of pitches. Played a lot of games. Will catch up that evolved? The end price. Your second third starters have combined to pitch five times in the first three games of the series. Specially when in game one Chris sale was not pitching. Well, he's had some shoulder issues in the in the recent past and how much of a factor will that be going forward? But in the end, it's all hands on deck. You do whatever you have to do to try to find a way to win a game. And I got tell you mentioned before Walker. Bueller? This kid's rookie. And the way he is pitched at twenty four years old. Has just been amazing. In in the postseason. I start wasn't great. Yes, atlanta. They'd go five run second start when seven innings up four runs some of that late but struck out eight. Pitched well against Milwaukee a game. I thought they pull them out way too early in his last one. And then this start was it's like as the lights have gotten brighter. He's pitched veteran better. Tremendous rookie season in the regular season. Locked to like about this young man, and it was really impressive. What he did? But is a great series. The dodgers have made it a series. It's funny. I've I've actually picked the dodgers win every game. So far. And I've been wrong two out of three. But I'm doing it again here in game four, I think the dodgers are going to tie up this game tonight. I think last night's games going to take more out of the Red Sox to lose a game. You win that game. You were up to one in the thirteenth inning. You get those three outs. You get that final out in the thirteenth inning and a series over your up three. Oh. Would have been over. And they couldn't close it out in the thirteenth dodgers come back to win that game in the eighteenth. And I think the dodgers can very well rally back and win this series. I think the I think the winner tonight's game is going to win the series. And I think the dodgers are gonna win tonight. I do think they're going to win tonight. I think they're gonna come back and win the series. And it wouldn't surprise me. If they won four in a row. And I speak to you next week. When the Red Sox win the next two. So. That's the way my have been going lately. How did I do my picks last week? Anthony, you have that in front of your any. I do have them here. Second. I didn't Mark it down. So the NFL you went to and five all college or three into I'd say well in college, at least that's pretty good. I mean six hundred winning percentage in colleges I'd say a successful. All right. Well, also overall, I went five in seven for five and six five seven overall. All right. It's not great. I've been in a slump. I've been in a picking slump. So probably the Red Sox are gonna win tonight. Just like players predict games. Get this lumps to. At least I want three into college NFL picks off. And I'm wanting to in picking the World Series game. So far, we'll see if the dodgers can get a get it done tonight. CBS CBS is Super Bowl seizing continues. "If the dodgers had one game seven of the World Series last year, I think Jack Peterson could've wound up being the MVP. He had such a great World Series, so you don't know. Kyle farmer gets called up, gets hot, Alex Verduga gets called up, gets hot. There's no reason why they can't be on the postseason roster. The dodgers have got unbelievable organizational depth, and they'll take full advantage that down the stretch. Yeah, I the one thing that will also be interesting to see is, is Kershaw going to continue to be Kershaw for the next month. He's been really good in August. Really? Good. Can he do that in September? And if he doesn't, he gives the dodgers a huge edge. Well, he's, they call him Mr. September. He generally has a good September until I just over. I only worry about the part that comes after that. All right. So I've seen him before we get out of here, Greg. Do you still have that thing that Jose Marino that for Manchester United went on that rant investment. We played this that Marino basically he's won three Premier League titles with other teams, right? But he's never won one for Manchester United Manchester United. Got clocked three to nothing at home. Yup. On Monday it was like the worst loss. They've added home in years and Marino didn't like being questioned by reporters, so they lost three to nothing. "Tee for them he tried to go way upstairs on jack peterson peterson turned on it because you know he's not going up stairs at ninety five he's going up there at eighty eight there was still there still pretty unbelievable swing by jack petersen even ninety or whatever that pitch was like that pitch was a couple inches above the top of the strike zone that was crazy right but if it's ninety five warburg warburg thanks warburg can't catch cats can't catch up to those pitches but he candidate you'll dylan maple slider faster than hendrix fastball is quite dylan maple stuff is you talk about a guy that can make the ball oh my god yeah he just has to harness it so so the meaning is broken up by the way i don't have to go just yet but joe is gonna come over and and addressed the media shortly so he's he's back to the drawing board it's almost like you were struggling just he was struggling enough to survive it starts in the past but now he's bottomed out maybe this is the best thing for him he bottomed out and maybe you know the rebound is what's next you know what i'm saying you sorta go back to the drawing board where before he was just tinkering because you were surviving starts he's no longer surviving at least know last night secondshortest started his career that tells you a lot about kyle hendricks right there what's the lineup look like today jess i'm the lineup has one kris bryant i'm sorry anthony rizzo back in it after sitting last night so kinda interesting the day before but his number of day before facing kershaw but his numbers are pretty good but al moore who left last night's game with a little problem he insists he's okay he'll lead off he really wanted to face kershaw today buyers will bad stuck and he's been the best lately rarest come alive a little bit so those two back to back they're both going to right field that's always a good sign ridgewood i he's been a pop up machine lately again so we'll see what he does against kershaw russell david bodey back its third really slick fielding third baseman there but see what he can do against dot in happened rights war and left so left the left you'd air jose cantata pitching and here's the thing kenley jansen been used a lot so i don't know if he's available kershaw still working his way back maybe seventy seventy five pitches so this is not your typical kershaw eight innings hand the ball to kenley jansen affairs maybe the cubs can take advantage could really use a win and this road that was really good play last night you mentioned boaty that the play he made adding j a turner at home what was turner upset about though on that yeah i ask it it feels like every plate the plate turns into some conversation right somebody did something wrong or if you're living at all these you know you won't have these moments concur told me he felt like he tagged them too hard in the chest or something like that i mean i felt like he split into him or something i don't know i didn't quite get the full story but it had to do with the slide in the tax like every other controversy it's crazy like tag me too hard in the chest i mean what what's the cashier exactly supposed to do there it's it's out of control i mean guys get up there muscle the i mean are you kidding me justin turner i that was a joke too hard on yeah and in this goes back to what i said about the original slide just 'cause there's a rule in place don't just assume you're safe and you're fine and you're never going to be tagged illegally you know what i mean let the umpires sandwich you be ready for a heart attack be ready for a hard supply fifty legal the buyers will handle it stopped taking offence guys are trying to play the game in the heat of the moment shoot i'm saying like some players think that oh there's one place that means i'm never going to get you know seem well you might get steamrolled and they'll be called out or get fine but it seems like every time there's a confrontation.

"Now just the warning this program includes references to violence suicide and extreme views on women that some people may find unpalatable we really wanted to get in touch with these guys but we also thought they probably wouldn't speak to us and probably especially not to me as a woman now it took a lot of convincing and some of these people only wanted to speak to us on the phone so to start i looked at where i thought we'd find the most outspoken characters on youtube and although most insults hide behind their keyboards on reddit four chan on their own sites like insults don't me some do discuss their thoughts on camera i don't know what it is about me so repulsive to others you know that they feel the need to insult me and exclude me from everything that's jack peterson he's a nineteen year old from chicago in the us he has a youtube channel and created a podcast series called insult cost why he speaks to the in cells our show about the black and everything in so our guest today he was one of the very few installs who was willing after the toronto attack to speak to the media and we call a few minutes with him on the phone and asked him how he found himself identifying as an insult my main issue has been that you know obviously i i do i am i don't have that much hope about attracting a woman in the first place like if i thought it was that easy i would be doing it don't get me wrong but also just you know i've had a couple of negative experiences in relationships and so that kinda made me feel like you know like it's hard to move on from my past and and and and start a new relationship she had just women who has you know done pretty pretty bad things to me this seems to be a really common theme amongst these guys often young guys in that taints or early twenties and they've had rejection or negative experiences with women that age many of them go to forums out of loneliness and wanted to speak to people in a similar situation to them i spoke.

"You're saying we love the giants the one one swag you've been here at ryan we love the giants we love the giants they were pretty quiet the first couple of games nothing really to cheer for score so edmund hold onto this for a while the one to swag hernandez dot strikes that is the second out of the inning jack peterson the dodgers mitch and they were six of the league in runs per game but the dodgers use the home run ball a lot and they were second at bats per home run hence kinda got stuff at the top edge of the war i don't think he could've caught i don't think so either going up structured a little bit by that padding next offering grounded to second data would be panic fields throws the first peterson his out over but the dodgers break it open four rubs including bellinger is to run home where we have the seventh at five nothing dodgers this is something that i face body spf radio and espn app.

"A painter go where the pros go oh go where i went to kelly moore paints the painters paint store lots of choices here and the final segment of the post game wrap lots of choices to pick for who we feel is our player of the game in the johnny go i all right well i'm gonna go with the in their loud of different choices to go with here but hunter strickland he's centerstage not just as closer which is not easy to begin with getting those final three outs that's those are the three toughest outs to get it's often been said and many pitchers have failed to try to do a guys who've had success in earlier innings so all of a sudden he's the closer he had a great spring obviously this is a guy with with confidence and and he got it done even though the first guy got a base hit against him and he's gotta run into to worry about and some some tough hitters coming up grondahl a power hitter and then finally jack peterson another power hitter and any any got it done as as the closer so he's my guy to protect a one nothing lead at dodger stadium that's about as good as it gets if you're a closer for the giants that's how it even an insight pit no but it's a good pick it it's a pick that had to be picked good show he's the he's the dodger kershaw killer it was cool she's like every time he got into a little in the first inning the the espn kaysone showed the week should have been should have been out but you got to walk and then he stole second but he just mowed the next guy every time he was in trouble he got a ground ball he got to double play balls and really got four or five aa grounders with men on base so he was he was excellent and even better when the stakes were higher he can pitch and if joe panic doesn't it went out we might still be that he's got to be our player of the game the player the game.

"Guys had quality at bats today and you know longoria had the for today but he's gonna be fine he had a nice catch in the ninth inning i think it was in the ninth when he coughed buster and that little pop fly out to the left and you could see that maybe drop in and that can kind of shake up a team but it made like the underhanded basket catch and then stricklin in jock petersen dan the game i like that because you know jack peterson that's a big it's in the world series man but stricklin like i said using that slider i mean in the past strickland just fastball fastball fastball fastball little bit of the curve ball little bit of the slider and it had a little late bite on it and you know if you're throwing your fastball ninety six down when you throw a slider at eighty five it's going to handcuff guys and hopefully strict lincoln continue to build on that and we talked to mark a bond is about strickland and you know he he made a terrific point and if you miss that interview it's podcast at cambier dot com and you said in i have to agree with him because i you know i haven't been a huge strickland fan you know for a lot of different reasons but that fight last year with bryce harper that was a rubber meets the road situation because that was some tired ask vendetta from how many freaking years ago and bryce harper and sitting around worrying about that in the you know the thing is is far as like kind of the unwritten rules of baseball and we know how sacred the unwritten rules of baseball are bro you won the series and then you won the world series so.

"Is the fact that and kyle farmers sounds like he's going to make the roster to so you're gonna actually have three catchers barnes goes into place second second and they start playing that game flexibility actually use barnes because otherwise you're emergency catcher can't use them right and the one thing that that i notice is that last year the postseason was so magnified and so i think about players in their postseason performance barnes great at bat after great at bat sees that job and owned it for the postseason jock peterson world series last year great at bat after great at that was was the best hitter they had during the world series you expect these things to carry over but it's like all that work all that stuff is under such a micro microscope j jock peterson is much more at this point we have in large enough sample size on what good jock is and what bad jock is to no exactly what he is and what he did in the world series is more the outlier than what he typically does over the course of one hundred sixty two who is jack petersen right now jock peterson is just a guy that still can't figure out swing it seems like yeah i mean he's a to to me jack peterson is a below average center fielder now outfielder i'd say he's asking isn't isn't it that the average but he was supposed to be above saying that's that's really disappointing and that's why he's not even being talked about as being on the roster right now is because he's just an average defender right you want guys in the outfield that are good defenders the dodgers are all about their defense and now he's not hitting very well yes he was great in in the world series i mean i i think in the in the world of i think jock peterson is probably a two forty hitter with a three thirty on base percentage and eighteen home runs forty forty is yeah so something like that something like that he's gonna start the year a triple a and at some point you gotta say all right well maybe it's not maybe it's just not there i would imagine that there are teams that would take peterson stick him in center field everyday and let them figure it out but the dodgers can't afford to do that.
