"Win. I will take Arkansas to win, but for the long term, I'm a little concerned as to where the leadership and where the production comes from. Fans, I didn't hear a lot of confidence out of the. Way. Okay, Dorian, Chris Doyle, he always makes friends wherever he goes. Yeah. You know my Kentucky Chris production and going to Paul. We won't go down every game because most of them seem pretty obvious, but probably the most interesting, the second most interesting game. I want to ask you about one more game before we get to the what I think is the toughest. You feel like LSU is going to be able to handle Florida state Sunday Night. Yeah, I like LSU. I think LSU has a chance to be one of the surprise teams of the year. A lot of people, not high on the folks from Baton Rouge, but I'm buying Brian Kelly 100%. I think the biggest problem was not talent on that roster, but really not being one team together. So I think he'll do a great job of providing some healing in that locker room and get them on the same page. They're a roster that has a lot more talent in my opinion than Florida state. I think LSU wins this game going away makes a statement there in their second home in the Superdome and gives the fans a quite the hope from what they've been going through the last two years. Okay, let me get to the game. I'm sure you've heard a lot about since you live down in Florida. And that's the one tomorrow tomorrow night. Utah coming in. A lot of people love this team. They won the PAC 12 last year. Heading into Gainesville, playing a team that we've had countless conversations about Chris. We just don't know, but we're about to find out what happens tomorrow night. Paul, I've been to multiple practices this spring in this fall and I still don't really know what to expect from this team. The one thing I do know is this team is going to go as far as the quarterback Anthony Richardson will take them. There's some talent around him, but he's the guy that provides the explosiveness in this offense. He's got to be more consistent throwing the football, got to complete the easy throws. Got to prevent the turnovers that have cost him at times. And most importantly, he's got to be in the lineup because of the threat that he not only puts on the opposing defense, but there's nobody behind him. With Jack Miller having gone down with that thumb injury, he's out, or probably another month or so, the backup is jaylen kitna, John kitten's son, who hasn't taken a snap a college football yet. So Anthony Richardson is going to be the key, obviously. I think the defense is better here. And even though a lot of folks think that Utah could be a dark horse college football playoff team, I honestly believe Florida finds a way to win this game. I don't know how and I'm definitely not coming from the Homer perspective here, but I think that Utah is going to face a raucous environment and they're going to face what they think is a night game where it's actually going to be about 90° and 95% humidity. I don't think there's any way you can replicate what they'll walk into on Saturday night. There you go, Chris Dorian going with the Gators against shiitake Chris. We'll talk to you next week. We'll be watching tomorrow. Thanks so much. We are officially out of time for this program. We appreciate all of you for being a part of it. Some really interesting guests today will see you right here tomorrow. Thank you for listening to the Paul finebaum show podcast, the Paul fine bomb show airs weekdays on the SEC network beginning at three eastern.

"I wouldn't be surprised if the team like New Orleans San Antonio or Indiana gave up the farm to get into that top three. I mean, if I was New Orleans, I'd be doing everything I can to get my hands on chat home, grin. I will say that. What define everything though? Because I do think that it's, I don't want to say king's ransom, but it's probably going to take a lot to get into the top three. This isn't like, hey, here's a player to pick. It would probably be a couple picks. A player, a guy like developmentally who's pretty good. And not just for that pick, it would be matched up with somebody else there. But there's not a really clean thing either that I think goes there with New Orleans. Like, who do you give up? Well, New Orleans has all of it. Well, you switch 8 and three. They have all of the picks from the Anthony Davis deal. They have the picks from the drew holiday deal. I mean, do you like I give up herb Jones pretty easily and herb Jones? Fits the Fred cats. Andre Roberson, Josh eustace all stars that the Oklahoma City Thunder tend to love. Honestly, I love Trey Murphy. I absolutely love trading. I think you give up two picks, Trey Murphy, and number 8, to get into the top three. If I am getting, if I can get Chet home grin, who actualizes every single thing that Zion Williamson does on the court, I do that. For anyone a buddy cop comedy waiting to happen with just like the pure dimensions of Chet and Zion next to each other. That would actually be the best NBA jam team of all time. Okay. I want to take one real quick from Jack Miller. If you had to lay a percentage on it, what are the odds of jabari versus Chad at number one? Mocks all have jabari but bed odds are really close right now. You're the Becca I saw. I'm gonna defer to you to start. But it's shifted. It shifted significantly. Jabari was the heavy favorite. It's come down. I don't know what it is as of this recording. But I bet it's pretty close to the two of them together. Yeah..

"It's travel Michigan I'm Dave Lorenz from pure Michigan You know we've been kind of going around the state looking at some of the really fun events that we're going to love being back to enjoy later on this season A lot of them just didn't happen the last couple of years And we've missed them so much The other thing we've missed is I think we got out of the habit of going to some of our favorite places Some of our lesser known places we've also just not gone to enough I think So I think we need to do a little mixture of going back to those really popular places like during the weekdays And those less known places on the weekends because this is going to be a really busy summer So make sure you get your bookings early and then make those plans in advance So you don't get left out in the cold without a hotel room When he got one to go to popular places popular places like Holland in west Michigan really popular place for a lot of reasons We're going to talk about some of those reasons next as we bring in Linda Hart She is the executive director of the Holland convention visitors bureau Linda Welcome to the program Hi Dave Thanks for inviting me You bet Well and it's time that we invite people back to Holland as well I know it was busy still the last couple of summers even during COVID because you know people kind of flock to those well-known places in places on the Lake but now maybe we want to try to get them to come during the week and such During the summer So I know you have a bunch of reasons to visit Let's talk about downtown Holland for instance Had some adjustments some change in the last couple of years give us a little walk through of Holland Sure absolutely You know downtown is charming as it's ever been You know because of COVID every single restaurant added outdoor dining They're extending that into this season again which is great to see people enjoying a meal out on the sidewalk We now have a social district That got extended also which is great to see You know our farmers market is kicking off on Wednesdays and Saturday Yes Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 to two always a popular always a popular activity to find fresh vegetables plenty of annual meats cheeses over a hundred vendors go to that But during the mid week our street performer series is coming back So buskers Thursday night always great fun Friday evenings concerts in the park Also a lot of fun Hope some are repertory theaters Celebrating a 50th anniversary this summer So lots of great lots of great plays that will be going on on hope college So where do they perform their summer repertory Is it like right on the campus Or is that that little theater downtown It's actually all over the place to be honest They have it at a variety of different venues on hope college whether it's the name stage the Jack Miller the recital hall plus the knickerbocker downtown Oh cool I didn't know that Very very cool I'll be looking for that this summer as everybody should And you mentioned the outdoor dining I think that's one of those things that is going to just keep on going for a long time if not forever People now expect that Yes you know it was interesting because a lot of the restaurants who didn't have outdoor dining were allowed to extend their footprint onto the sidewalk and into parking spaces and as free parking downtown Holland those are coveted spaces really So being able to offer that to extend that footprint to allow that accommodation for people you're right people got used to it and it was great to see and they're really working hard this year to ensure that those additional dining options to extend that again that footprint of a restaurant will be offered again into those parking spaces So we're keeping our fingers crossed that that will have more options to dine outdoor but certainly a lot of outdoor dining in every single every single one of our restaurants downtown Well I'm happy to hear it It's not you know as though we can't afford to walk a couple of blocks from your beautiful parking ramp Because there's plenty of parking downtown but you might have to walk a block or two Well Right yeah Right We can use that with my COVID 30 or whatever I gained Has not been good I need more walking So I'll look forward to that Now of course the big event for the spring is wrapping up tulip time but you have a lot of other events that people need to be aware of Any in particular we want to talk about well you know we're going to kick off the summer with our Memorial Day parade That's always a fun parade for families and visitors and that's on May 30th beginning at 9 o'clock on that Monday Very very popular event that is one of my personal favorites is the remember when vintage car show on Friday June 3rd car show beginning at 5 and then the crews beginning at 8 which is a lot of fun Is that right downtown It is right downtown absolutely Yes And then we have a new event Super excited to bring it in It's the Holland waterfront Celtics festival and highland games on June 24th and 25th Now that's a surprise in a Dutch themed town You're going to have a Celtic fest I love it Yeah you know it was so interesting because there are a group in Holland.

"I mean that's another clip from the wobblies It is amazing Deborah schaefer that you found these workers now in there At the time now many of them are dead of course And they are 80s and 90s had a hard time finding coal miners right Because they were mostly all dead Yeah I think our most finding James fair the longshoreman from Philadelphia was our most challenging Remember we made this film in the late 70s There was no Internet We couldn't put out a call through social media We actually created a leaflet that we had people hand out on the ducks in Philadelphia Physical color printed paper leaflets saying was your grandfather a wobbly Because we knew that there had to be still black workers living in Chicago And Philadelphia who had been part of the union And we've eventually found James through I think is church that he was a member of a minister new and led us to him And so the search for the people was we weren't sure when we started how many people we would find We knew we had a few in the area around New York and we just didn't know if we'd find ten or 20 still alive In 1977 the union had been founded in 1905 So we were people as you said we're already very elderly They're all gone I want everybody I want to go back to another clip I mean this film is so good The archival footage is unbelievable as well In this clip it's what 1917 and World War I had begun We hear from roger Baldwin yep the founder of the American civil liberties union a narrator of this and wobbly Jack Miller Nelson and Tom scribner begins with the words of then a better American federation of labor president Sam gompers.

"Triple overtime here at Talladega. The gloves are off right now. It's time to get this thing done. It's all no one breaks a leading on the end of the backstretch. Bottom. Bottom, bottom. "Now as we know his season hasn't gone the way that he's one of the two so far but that return to the podium a week and a half ago in the british. Ep was the perfect momentum. Builder for arrogant like silverstone. His last time here not too shabby at all with a win in race. One starting from tenth on the grid then he had a second place in race two after qualifying on the front row. How good he is at. Aragon us zouqi actually qualified. Well it's a rare feat for them. So suzuki was good all the way around here last year. Double podiums in both races. It's not a huge surprise. Considering aragones combination of fast and slow turns and very flowing corners where corner speed edge can both be huge benefit but remember they were also able to hold off the charge on that backstretch in those races as well and that was without the rear ride height device which is gonna make things a little bit easier for them versus the dukakis and the hondas of the world. So when you take a look at rennes in the context of what happened in silverstone where he was able to convert confidence in past success to current results. Well there's no reason to think that he's not gonna be able to do that again and arrogant where his successes have been bigger and even more recent so despite the results would absolutely consider alex. Rinse to be a contender in this race. And seeing as we were just talking about suzuki's double podiums in both races last year. It's no big surprise. Then that the next router. I wanna talk about also riding a suzuki prince's teammate. Show mirror He finished third. Im- both arrogant races last year and those were critical finishes in his championship. Run as well so we already has a little bit of confidence coming in. But then there silverstone up until the british gp mir have been thoroughly outpacing his teammate consistently running at or near the back of the podium. But he wasn't able to make those tires last as well as wins in the british. Gp and as a result was coming off a race where he was tied for his lowest finish of the season. Now that finish was only ninth but still he. Obviously if he wants to be in the championship run is going to have to get back on the podium and is gonna more importantly have to win racist. I think that seeing rans up game is going to motivate joanne to rebound and challenge for the top suzuki spot again. Not that miriam rinse. Don't get along or anything but your teammate. Always is your greatest motivation. So both zeki riders. Qualifying is going to be critical but especially for mere who starting spots have slowly slipped. He came out of the gate strong in syria at the head of the third row but now he's drifted back to eleventh to start the last round if he can turn that around and move. Those qualifying spots forward again within suzuki can absolutely go after another double podium performance in this race now with my final pick for the favorites i do have to put do khadi writer on the list now. I think it's important to point out that do coty haven't won emoji mo. Gp race at aragon since the series made its debut in two thousand ten. And yes that was with casey stone or who likely could have written a moped that day instill finished somewhere on the podium. But they had their fair share podiums over the past few seasons and they have to factory riders right now that are much better at going around corners them pretty much anyone. They've had since stone or and on top of that they have bikes. That are far more capable of tackling the multiple challenges of this track in. Not just that big backstretch. Don't get me wrong though. Of course they're gonna love that big backstretch if they happen to be leading the race but which to colorado do you go with here. That's the difficult question. At least as far as i'm concerned because it seems like it's every other round that bag nyo were jack miller look great but not both at the same time and now as johann zarco has started to be kind of inconsistent as well now as long as one of those three does well any trace while that puts them in better shape when it comes to the constructor standings as long as either back ni- or miller look really good. Well that can help them in the team championship but for the rider title. Somebody in that group is going to have to step up who. I'm not one hundred percent. Certain but jack miller for me has the most going for him as far as arrogant is concerned. He's got some momentum coming off of that great battle for the podium and silverstone even though he lost out any as a podium here as well he finished third back in two thousand nine hundred nineteen after another last lap battle for the podium. This swim with maverick daniela's that he did come out on top in. I know what it is about jack and last lap podium battles but he's really really into those things So i'm going with miller as the best bet into dukakis field and putting him on the favorite list but you could easily plug bagai into this slot as well and if you wanted to argue for zarko i would probably listen to you on that one too. But for me the difficulty rider that goes into favorites list this weekend. At aragon jack miller now that rounds out my favorites list. But those aren't the only riders. I'm going to be keeping my eye on this weekend. I'll by watchlist guys. Who i think have serious top. Ten potential move. They have a really good day they could open the door. The top five and maybe even sneak into a podium position in the first rider. I'm going to start off my watchlist with yup. Maverick venezuela's yeah there. We go now things get a little bit interesting and we have some fun. Yeah i know this is his first race with a new team. A new manufacturer a new engine layout the whole nine. Everything is.

"The pre race show. I thought it could be an opportunity for alex. Rin's to get back on the right track. But even i didn't expect quite this much of a turnaround out of wren's after a thoroughly forgettable season up to this point alex must channeled some of his two thousand seventeen performance scoring his first podium of the air in what was a largely uneventful ride but by far his best effort of the entire season but while things were kind of boring mr ins there was plenty of action surrounding the rider behind him in this race. Alley spa grow. I can't even imagine the range of emotions for allie chicago from the beginning to the end of this race at one point running one two with his brother. Poll them battling with wins and the miller at the end and not knowing if he was even going to finish on the podium at all when it came down to it ally had his best race of the season this was the best race of his entire moto. Gp career barnen. I don't know if anybody has asked ally that question yet but hey they should be. I will be shocked if he didn't say it was the best race of his entire motor. Gp career. I mean he thought right down to the final corner against a fierce competitor in jack miller to hold him off score. Probably as i ever motogp podium. And i think the thing that impressed me. The most outside of alice's tenacity at the end was the bikes ability to get out of the corner. And you know it's very interesting because before the race started. The commentators were talking about a conversation that they had with alyssa's fargo where he said that because the motor is underpowered. Right now that he can kind of has to get on the throttle really early in the corner to be able to make up the difference in horsepower and you could clearly see that in the battle with jack bike with launch itself from the apex off the corner faster than the do coty now of course on a big long stretch. The takada always going to have a huge top. End advantage over the apprecia- but at this particular track where a lot of these corners were going on the streets. That weren't long enough for the cadi to exploit its top end advantage in those types of corners in those types of areas of the track. The fact that the approach is underpowered. In la she had learned to ride the specific way actually gave him a big advantage over because he could get that jumping needed to prevent miller from early setting him up coming out of one corner and then going into the next corner so it was a lot of fun to watch and it was awesome from allah. Saad to see both the effort and then the celebration afterwards and with both the new engine. Aah maverick penola is on the way before the end of the season. There's a lot obviously for appropriate to look forward to but how things happen. Today was the way that it should've happened. It was really awesome that la. She was the one to be able to get the first podium. He was the writer that put in all the work. He was the writer that wanted to be there when literally. Nobody else wanted to be on that bike. He was the one who believed in the program when nobody else wanted to be on that bike and so he deserves to get this podium. It's much more fitting than if maverick adobe or whatever other writer they were gonna go after had come in and accomplished ship i so it was fitting. It was a fantastic race for him. And it really was illegitimate and this wasn't like a gimme and the rain or somebody wrecked in front of him. I mean ally chicago thought from start to finish in this race to get that podium and it was proof positive that the apprently akanbi fast enough from start to finish. Now you can say okay. Well marc marquez. Took out who martine and because of that you had to other legitimate podium contenders that didn't make it to the end of the race so we really don't know yeah but stuff like that happens every race. My point is is that those guys didn't wreck out of first and second or second and third with a lap and a half to go like allies had to put in the lap times. He had to make the bike make it to the end and he was able to do that. So it's not just a podium for. It's the podium. That really wanted to get if that makes sense to anybody but now there are a bunch of other writers that deserve mention from this race. Both good and bad. I will start with jack miller at one point. Looked like he might suffer the same fate as his team at back. Bacchanalian just drift back in the pack. But he made a fantastic late race. Push to get all the way up to fourth and nearly get on the podium. It wasn't the finishing needed in the championship but it was still a good race nonetheless up for elliot's brother polo spago. How exciting. what's it to see him not just on the pole for this race but leading with his brother running second and then of course running second to his brother for a little bit as well even though he ended up missing out on the podium and this one it was by far his best race on a honda and a big momentum. Builder going home to spain for the next round it was really the race that both pole and repsol honda needed then over with. Ktm abroad bender had a nice rebound to finish sixth in this one after starting twelfth but it was his ktm stablemate eaker lackawanna. That really deserves the recognition. In my book. It was his best motogp finish. Ever and his best g. p. race ever coming home seventh after starting eighteenth passing a lot of really good riders along the way performances like this earlier in the season may have had him in line for a petronas spike alongside of andrea da vinci. Also in the in fact. I'm not sure that they shouldn't still be considering. Eager laguna for that other bike. Then on the other side of the token we've got joanne mir who looked promising early. But finished ninth ninth on a day when fabio quad sharara win out and completely dominated and his teammate also proved that this is yuki was fast enough to finish on the podium. Beer just wasn't and there was a huge uncharacteristic fade for him and suzuki. For that matter. At the end it was pretty much a worst case. Scenario for mir as we'll talk about here in a moment but while it was pretty much worse case for joanne it was absolutely worst case. Scenario for petco back nyein this one who was also shadowing the podium guys early and then unlike jack who had that late race surge on the medium front tyre the soft that petco decided on when completely away at the end leaving him fourteenth at the flag and that is really really bad for his title hopes and joins arkham then new much better. He was eleventh so it was not a good day to be a championship contender. Not named fabio koch harare. So you're putting him in this one. Fabio scores his fifth. Victory of the season comes in dominant fashion as he's looking more and more like the next mode. Gp world champion. Alex rinse finishes second his first podium of the year a big momentum boost for both him and the team then rounding things out aleisha spa grow and historic first motogp podium for provia the absolutely raced his heart out for it and who was there. Was somebody on reddit. That heading into the weekend was like you know what now that. They announced that they've signed. Maverick vignon as i bet you anything. Allies chicago is going to go out. And i can't remember if they said win a race or get on the podium. But i think they even said at silverstone. I'm going to go back and look at that but whoever it was post because you totally nailed it if he said when you almost nailed a close enough for me at least and also how about the fact that all six manufacturers occupied one of the six top spots in this race a testament to not just how hard each of those manufacturers have worked to be competitive but the level of talent right now emoji p they. Each one of those manufacturers has a guy who's capable of finishing top six in motogp erase. So that's what happened on sunday and that brings us to the motive gp championship and this is where things get very interesting with the whim. Like i mentioned earlier. Fabio is now up by sixty five points over joanne mir..

"All available corner speed and grip and it provides just as many places to get the back end out of shape as it does to lose the front so you have to temper your aggression which is probably why someone like. Cow crutch. slow doesn't consider this to be his favourite british track but it sure is a lot of fun to watch so that's where they're racing this weekend. Now let's talk about the riders particularly the favorites. The people i think have the best shot at competing for a podium and maybe taking the women this one and we're gonna start our favorites list this week with bobbio charro now. Fabio doesn't have a whole lot of moto. Gpa experience at silverstone and that's the theme that's going to carry through to a lot of the writers we talk about buddy goes triple for fabio because on motogp bike race. He's made it through a grand total of one corner that was back in two thousand nineteen and it was that wild crash that saw andrea. Also use fabulous. Bike is a sweet jump which was exciting to watch. but it didn't work out for either of them when it came to more results on. Fob you dig qualified fourth that weekend. And he was fastest an f. p. one f p two f. p. three and warm up the session. He wasn't fast. This was f. p. Four in that when he was second to marquez and that was as a rookie on a satellite petronas spike is a much better writer. Now he's on a much better bike to boot. You then toss in the fact that he's run well every single round the season even in the racist where the results don't make it. Look that way am. Fabio is one of the writers to beat this weekend. That being said it's racist slam dunk. It's essentially for him like learning a new track and however much he doesn't want to think about it the championship is going to start to linger in the back of his mind and that increases the chances that either takes too many risks or too few so even though he's capable of going out there and winning it a lot of factors at play that could prevent him on one side or the other now in exactly the opposite position. The fabio is marquez. Who has absolutely nothing to lose in this race and everything to gain by taking whatever risks are necessary to get on the podium and go after a win. Austria showed us once again. That mark is getting stronger and more capable of running near the front of races round by round and even though things went kinda sideways for him in the rain in the last race he's going to be bringing a lot of confidence into this one especially with another week to rest and recover even further and while this isn't marks best track you kind of have to take that idea in perspective because mark is one of only three riders on the grid to actually one emoji. Gp race at silverstone. He's got three podiums here and he was third in the last race that was run so even quote unquote not as best is still better than pretty much anyone else. So the farther removed. He is from his injury. The more promising he looks. And i can't imagine marquez won't find a way to factor into this race even if arrogant is his next real target because he is absolutely out of this world good when it comes to aragon next ryder up the favorites list joanne mirror. And i'm taking a little bit of a flyer here on. Show him being in the favorites category. But i think i can make the argument We'll start on the bad side. The bad news here is that mere has never raced at silverstone emoji. Gp he was injured in two thousand nineteen. The two thousand eighteen race was cancelled along. With of course the twenty twenty race so the last time that zhou amir raced in silverstone was two thousand seventeen and that was moto three. Not even motoo so. He's a complete unknown. When it comes to the premier class at this track but suzuki is not they have a win. In two of the last three mo- gp races run here with alex. Rinse two thousand. Nineteen and the maverick daniela's in two thousand seventeen and we saw in austria that their new ride height device gave them a big competitive and a big motivational boost particularly for mir. And that's something. He'll be able to utilize again this weekend. I think now wins of course won the last race here but with him. Struggling and mir running really well over the past. Couple of rounds. I'm going to go joanne as zouqi. I'm betting on to make a run at the podium. Come sunday on. Next up on the list. Is jack miller in this is another rider. Who doesn't have a whole lot of history here to build on although it does have a fair amount of wrecks at silverstone Jack's only premier class points finish was an eighth here. It was in the last race was run that was in two thousand nineteen. And he's coming into this one after two shockingly bad results in austria but there are multiple reasons to think that he could break out this weekend. Get back on track and get far better. Finish first and foremost is where jack has run. Well the season his best racists have been harassed lama and catalonia all of which are far closer infield to silverstone than a place like the rebel ring is where he was struggling. A miller spin able to make the dakota handle. And he's going to get the chance to do it again this weekend. And don't forget that a couple of races go couple of british cheese ago andrea co so. Prove that a coty can win at this track and that was a bike that didn't go round corners. Nearly as well as the current one does. So i look for a bounceback from jack in the podium contention and he's going to be super motivated to run well especially considering how austria went because didn't go like he ordered to. Kati wanted it to then. The final rider on my favorite's list this weekend brad bender. And i know you're thinking. Oh you just picked him because he won last weekend and yeah kind of them especially since he got there. More by cunning and rain prowess than by all out speed. But he's also the healthiest casey writer on a bike right now and the one that has the most momentum and the most confidence coming into this round kitty and hasn't really been able to test themselves consistently and silverstone because of all of the schedule interruptions. But they were getting better with paul spago and of course. They've made quite a leap in performance. Since that point so i would be surprised if at least one. Ktm rider if not more than one. Didn't jump up into contention at some point in this race and with bender having podium here motoo to emoto three think he's got a shot to complete that trifecta and collect silverstone podium in the premier class heart so those are the favorites so sorta writers that. I have the best shot of winning coming into this weekend. But they're not the only ones. I'll be keeping my eye out on the next list. The watchlist are guys who i think have a legitimate shot finishing in the top five and maybe making a push for the podium if they have a good day and we'll start out by talking about alex. Rinse the last time that moto. Gp ram at silverstone ruins one in one of the most stunning last corner passes in the motor gp era surprising marc marquez in a drag race to the flag and that should normally would make him one of the favorites coming into this weekend and i struggled with this one because he's kind of on my favorite's list in my mind but i couldn't officially put him there because he's just been stuck in between the season hasn't been qualifying well and then sometimes he does a good job overcoming that poor qualifying moving up and other times he just can't find his way through and the injury few weeks back didn't help matters at all either but with his success here silverstone does present the opportunity for alex rinse to break out of his slump get a season back on the right track so while i do expect better performance out of him. I'm not quite sure if it's going to be enough for the podium yet. I will say this though. Alex if you wanna put on another two thousand nineteen like show for us. I'm all in. Let's get it going. Pick your guy who went to chase down and give us an exciting finish Next up on the list is petco back. Naya back is kind of the opposite case as rinse. He doesn't have much of anything at all. In terms of results to lean on at silverstone just alone podium back in two thousand sixteen in moto three but this season he hasn't struggled at all. I think he's looked excellent. All things considered yeah. There was a little stumbling stereo. But he came back strong in the austrian. Gp looking fantastic in both the dry and the wet showing the best speed of any of the dakotas and now that he's moved himself up the second in the championship. I think petco is going to be ultra motivated to try to make up ground on. Fabio quarrel not an easy task and without those southeast asian rounds to lean on for their advantage..

"And like i said at the top of the show. You would think that coming out of last weekend's race that would make picking this one a heck of a lot easier because last week was a total crapshoot. But i don't think it makes a whole lot easier at all because there were so many writers. Like petco back. Nyah like jack miller lite navarine vanilla who struggled and shouldn't have and then the ktm's struggling much with frontier. But they're getting the solution handed to them so we could have easily just right there with those guys. I was talking about five more riders seriously in the mix. Then we had a week ago. So who do you pick. How's it all going to shake out. Well we're gonna figure that out right now here. My top five finishers for this weekend's austrian gp at the rebel ring in austria and and theft. I'm gonna pick brad bender. And i know that's a spot lower than he finished last week but stick with me on this one. He's super fast capable of competing for the podium with this new frontier. I'm just a little uncertain about his ability to qualify near the front based on what we've seen the season and that makes me temper my expectations just enough to put him near the front. But in fifth in fourth for this weekend's race i'm gonna go with fabio queiro. You know this is going to be a lot more competitive event since everybody knows what to expect now and that means more dukakis near the front a harder time for fabio to hold onto the podium. But i'll tell you a fourth would be a fine result for him one way or the other i'm going to pick him fourth. Then that brings us to our podium finishers in third. I'm going to go with last week's winner and marteen. The kid is fast. He's got all of the momentum in the world right now but there's also going to be a lot more pressure as he expects to repeat. And that's gonna make this race a bit more difficult for a rookie. So i haven't just off the top spot in third then. Hopefully we get an insanely good race between these top. Two finishers in second in that battle. I'm gonna pick jack miller. Jack was just a little too confident in the gp twenty-one grip in the last race. he'll be smarter this time around. And not wanting to be embarrassed by pray mac again. I think he's going to have a really really good run. We've seen him come down to the final term. Before i'm got my fingers crossed is gonna come down to the final turn again with the same exact rider. The one in picking the win this one show mirror and i know it's probably a stretch but i'm gonna go with one part performance last week and the other part pure momentum and enthusiasm over the right device and a resulting change in strategy taking it right down to the wire between him miller m. martine so. That's my top five for this. Weekend's austrian gp breath interim fifth fabio cultural fourth and on the podium martine jack miller and your winner for the first time this season joanne mir do you agree disagree. You know what to do. Let me know in the comments on facebook and on read it he can tell me. My picks are terrible. Or they're awesome. We're told me who you think is going win the race next up. Well we have another race. Which means we've got another post ratio. That's right check back. At the end of the weekend. Where i'll recap all of the austrian. Gp action and moto three moto to emoji p. Give you my take on the race. Then it'll be your turn. Leave your comments on facebook right it. "Bike day with a downright nasty looking do khadi streetfighter. Eight four eight. You know kathi has never really lacked the styling department. I mean there was the original multi strada. But you get what i mean But the street fighter that is one of those bikes that even non motorcycle people look at it and say i don't know what that thing is but it looks bad ass and it kind of scares me a little bit. So that's an awesome awesome streetfighter. Men congratulations on that one. All right so that does it for the pick video in the comments for this episode of the show. If i didn't get to yours. Don't worry i'll try to get to it next week but we have a race to talk about. That's right we're right back in action it's time for round eleven of the twenty twenty one motor. Gp world championship still at the rebel ring. This time the austrian gp now last week we expected to do qadis to go out there and dominate and they didn't mean yeah they won the race but that was about it instead in classic 2021 fashion we saw five different manufacturers in the top five positions and of course fabio quadra right there in the middle of it all and it was highlighted by the unexpected. The crazy wreck yet another austrian red flag. Maverick venezuela's stalling on the grid. Starting from pit lane and then a rookie. Getting his amtrak do qadis. i ever modo. Gp win while the heavily favored factory. riders struggled. But it's an all new weekend and everybody now has a chance to learn from race one and apply what they learned embraced to factory. Do coty is going to be stronger. Suzuki is going to have a better idea of what their bike is capable of doing with this new ride height device. Maverick venezuela's may not have another disaster. Suppose it all hinges on how the sabotage goes and then. Ktm is definitely going to have a better weekend too because they've got a new front tire to work with their home grand prix that they've been begging for and i think the result is going to be a much more competitive and hotly contested race than what we saw last weekend. Maybe with another last term battle for the win. Of course. I have my fingers crossed for that so we already talked about the track and the manufacturers last week so this time let's jump right in with the contenders and at the top of my list. Jack miller now. Things did not go well for jack last weekend. But that's not because he wasn't fast enough to be in the mix embrace to miller got off to a solid start but once he was pushed out of those podium positions. I think he just got a little too anxious. Now jack said he could tell the quad charro ahead of him was starting to struggle a little bit. He wanted to capitalize. And that's when he got a little bit too eager to get the past on right away likely thinking of the writers ahead and not wanting them to get out too far in front so jack said that he threw away a podium and he might be right. I mean fabio was gonna be a tough guy to battle for the rest of the race but there's no question that jack miller had the speed to be able to keep up with him. Jack said they're going to work this week on edge grip and i think he's going to be a lot more careful and a lot more tactical in his approach. Especially if he comes across a suzuki or yamaha rider and while that might slow him down tiny amount especially in sector three as a result. I think he'll definitely be contender this weekend. And i think the same thing about his factory teammate. Impact back and now pecos struggled with rear grip in sunday's second race but he got off to a really good start in the first race so assuming that there's not going to be another red flag this weekend and i do admit that as a really big assumption but if there isn't that takes out the extra opportunity for tires to act weird after a heat cycle or for conditions to change on track and that means more of a chance for petco to be consistent like jack. He'll be super motivated to redeem himself for last weekend and also not be embarrassed again by satellite writer. No rookie at that. So another solid qualifying. Effort could definitely put him in the mix on sunday. Now joanne. Last week was pretty tough. He was admittedly throwing everything he had at. Martine trying to keep up but he just couldn't close the gap and that might make. It seem like he's not capable of winning here but there were a few mistakes that he made in that fight for the front and more importantly now both he and suzuki know what the bike is capable of with this new ride height device and they can be fast enough to be in the mix. They qualify last weekend. Well joanne did. He lost a lot less to the do qadis on acceleration. They're excited about it. It's injected a ton of confidence into the team and the writer. So i think they'll approach this weekend with a little bit different strategy better designed to take advantage of their new setup and because of that. I think joanne mayor is absolutely capable of making a run for the front in this race. Now after qualifying tire management is going to be the biggest thing because ride height device are not this zukis in yamaha's are gonna have to lean on that front tire and breaking an edge grip in the corners especially in sector three to kind of eliminate that acceleration deficit to the dakotas. Even though it's less now than it was before now for hey martine. Last weekend was a huge huge moment. A rookie in what like is six. Three sever a satellite writer. Somebody coming back from a major wreck and injury to overcome all of that and win so convincingly was a huge validation of his progress in the sport you watch video they posted a motor. Gp dot com. He was thinking of quitting once. He had the injury. But also validation of what we saw in qatar when he was on the pole and finished on the podium. now he's got the luxury of getting to return immediately to the same exact track where he just one in tried to do it all again now. The good news for marteen is that his confidence going to be through the roof as we'll primax as a whole. The bad news is he's not going to catch anybody by surprise this time around. They're all going to be expecting him. They're all going to be targeting him who he is capable of going out and competing for the win again but it would probably be best if he didn't necessarily make that his ultimate goal foul him. Oh would just aim for the podium and take the race as it happens. See where it goes from there. I think that if he doesn't expect himself to go out there and win again that's going to take quite a bit of the pressure off that he's inevitably going to be putting on himself in for a rookie having one and coming back to the same track and then expecting the win. That's gonna make the task a lot more difficult to repeat so hopefully neither do cardi and nor himself nor the team put too much pressure on. Hey this weekend she got there have fun. Enjoy the wind. Try to get back on the podium though. Probably help him stay near the front more easily than saying one before..

"And how qualifying has been his arch nemesis this season. I think there's only two races all year long that he started inside the top ten and watching once again. What he did in this race is just just reinforcement that. If brad bender could just simply figure out how to qualify well he would likely be doing the same exact things. We've seen out of miguel lavera before the break and miguel by the way was injured in this one. That's why he was really not that great all weekend long and brad proved it again. Today i mean he started sixteenth and he was ninth as late as lap. Sixteen in this race. And then he just comes blazing through the field in the final third getting by bo takenaka gami and johann zarco in the final few corners of the last lap to get an incredibly impressive fourth place. Finish after starting sixteen. They just need to figure out how to get him. On the first three rows of the grid and brad bender could make some big big waves over the second. Half of the season. Never talking nakagomi. Well i don't know maybe he's feeling a little bit of that. Pressure from iowa is increasingly more impressive performances. Emoto too but one way or the other taco was motivated and he was looking a lot more like he did in twenty twenty in this race then has so far in twenty twenty one and getting roughed up a bit by bender at the end was really his low misstep and talk a finally gets back into the top five for the first time since he res- was a really good race for him on the other end of the spectrum. I wanna talk about three writers who did little to help their chances on sunday. And they all happen to be on do kadi's starting with johann zarco who actually had a decent race and he was in a really good spot when jack miller went out to at least only finish one spot behind fabio quattro in this one but then he let to riders. Get by him in those final few corners on the last lap going from fourth to sixth. And you just you can't. You can't do that if you want to be in the championship against a guy who's been as fast as fabio quarrel has been all season long. You can't make those mistakes especially when you're chasing writer in the championship if you've got the buffer. Well okay you lost a couple of points. Come back the next day. You can kind of fix it. But here's arco is a good distance behind. He needs every single point he can get in those situations. You have to find a way to stay in front of two riders who you are better than and i know that's arguable. But based on the results we've seen the season zarko should have been able to best takenaka gami and brad bender instead. He lost out the both of them. That's really really bad way for him to end the race for petco back niamh. I mean when this first started before the red flag. He looked like he was going to be a contender and then he was simply flat in the second race. He never got anything going it all and he finished eleventh doing himself no favors. And then jack miller ma'am after leading the race early and then falling out of the podium spots. Jack was in the middle of a late race. Push to get by fabio coiro. Get back on the podium. Make up some points in the championship as well which would have been huge for himself. Amber johns arco too. Because it would have taken a couple of points away from coiro. And i really don't think showing mir would minded. That's so much either. But then he lost the front end in the stadium section with ten laps to go trying desperately to match the corner speed of the aha instead of being patient and relying on the dakotas real strength which was sectors one two and four. Don't try make it all happen in three if you don't got it in three right and instead of maybe getting on the podium or at least finishing fourth he missed out on at least thirteen points. Maybe even sixteen and because of that. He's now over seventy points out in the championship. He is perilously close to having his title. Bid for twenty twenty one come to an end as well before we finish up on the qadis by the way how about the droese finishing tenth in this race he got the last spot based on a track limits and fracture but still top ten for a guy who hasn't racing a couple of years. I think that's a good day. All things considered becoming background to. It wasn't a good day for them. Obviously they didn't accomplish what they set out to and yet she still had a smile on his face at the end of the day. Why is that well. Because i'm pretty damn sure. He was looking up at martine on the top. Step of that podium and thinking there's next factory rider that's the guy i'm going to go. Try to win a championship with if these other guys aren't going to step up for me. Because if mirrored one or even if somebody like johann zarco have one he was going to be pretty darn upset that his factory guys didn't step up to the challenge. But instead i think he was seeing the future up there and thinking you know what maybe not this year but maybe next year or the year after that because i got somebody. I can really really work with here so on the podium whore. Hey martine his first victory pray mac qadis first victory in modo. Gp and a fantastic display of talent from future contender show. Amir was second the ride height device and the result that came with it. I think definitely gives mir and suzuki a ton of forward momentum them running at the podium fabio quarrel he just keeps on going and this is just like a win for him in a champion like effort as well and in that championship while fabio of course still leads the way and he actually has a bigger lead believe it or not when he showed up in austria which is huge the margin now stands at forty points after johann arcos last lap. Struggles mirror gets couple back. He's now fifty one out while disappointing efforts for both factory riders. Lee petco back. Nine of fifty eight points. Back in jack. Miller wapping seventy two behind some more and more this fabio quattro arrows championship to lose..

"Could be jack miller or cairo mcchord but they also have They have this guy who's enrolling early quinn ever or you're talking here's my handicap. Were kobe all. But if you don't know who queen yours is q. U. i n. n. e. w. e. r. s. google it. He's literally the character you make in the college football game when you're trying to make a bad ass He's got a mullet. He's got bleached blond hair. He's got ridiculous forearm. Tattoos at the buzzer style. Yeah this dude is showing up on campus early reclassifying to basically skip his senior year. I l money show we gotta we gotta talk to this kid because we get locked this kid down. Even if he's not play. And i feel like the he's already star. Stroud was a five star. Top line. I mean all these guys. This guy's big dick energy is gonna create a problem. He's either going to do that. Locker either gonna be on the football field or off the football field. No one wants to see a seventeen year old with a bigger dictum and could this be could be an right. I think that's actually illegal for. You're talking about seventeen seventeen when he's getting on campus with that. I don't know anyway. The point being go global a picture this dude he embodies inches beatty. Stroud is obviously very good five star mcchord making a push for the starting job and then you throw yours in here is. This is cuban room going to be crowded like could that created this shack. Schinkel i i think i mean potentially they gotta figure this out who's going to be the guy under center. They could switch periodically through the season. But i think at the end of the day. If i have to. I don't like this one. But if i had to pick a side i would side with the under. I think eleven and one is realistically what's going to happen with this team. And i think there's probably like fifty five percent chance to a forty five. They will lose another game. And i think out the gate i mean look. You got a week to without the gate going up against a very experienced minnesota team. Pj flick look. Everyone's night game to hand like that minnesota team people think there bad last year minnesota was one of the teams that played with like thirty five players out every every week. There's only like five of those. Virginia tech was one of them. But i think it was a complete. Mr misrepresentation of what minnesota has been building and i think minnesota could steal a game there and then late in the year. I mean i'm not gonna say horrible after all these times of the. But i'm thinking maybe that. Stretch of indiana penn state nebraska. Maybe at indiana not an easy game. Yeah i mean. I think the reality the situation is the like if it were again. Oregon's the game right. If they if oregon beats them then. Then you're than the under is is like i don't think they go undefeated through the big ten but i'm gonna at some point. Let's play this game at some point when you have like a super program you're going to have to deal with some shit and i think if you like this dudes really leaving high school in texas early which i'm sure as a great situation just to get to ohio state euro and get paid I don't know how much. Cj stroud is getting paid. But i i wonder if it will be as much as what quinn yours is. Getting paid something just like the recruiting trip a year ago while he was there you know met a a nice girl from the university. That's cool and then maybe they've been exchanging you know messages. And he's like damage leaving. I'm not going to highest columbus and love listening fell. What what The kid in alabama. What bryce young when he just signed for eight hundred k except so. Would you say the top recruit in the class best recruits since trevor lawrence. Probably because young played last year. I mean he he was there last year. But this is the top guy so i think he's gonna get paid. I wonder if the coaching staff urban. Meyer is not there anymore. Daddy's gone are they going to be able to handle this kind of situation because there's some there there is gonna be a you know the the issue in the nfl is. These guys are getting paid millions of dollars and they almost have as much power as the coach in college. Traditionally it's been. The coach is the dictator the coach rules. Everything you're playing for free like the power is completely with the coach and the program but now let's say there is a kid like yours or whatever and a booster pays it gives him a million dollars endorsed local rib place all of a sudden. He doesn't have a couple good games. Coach wants to bench him. But boosters are paying this guy millions possibly of things get interesting. yeah. And i'll i'll go a step further. I'm i'm fully expecting. I'll be on oregon when we're out in vegas week. Two of the college season week one of the nfl season. Because i i again i think quack quack. Look the buckeyes are talented. But this is this is a dicey situation Talk i actually think the minessota games taller than the organ game. Well and maybe. That's that's bad for the oregon spot if they lose that one but yeah lose the minnesota great oregon like to row the boat a lot of time on ohio state. We apologize moved over to penn. State let's go. We are penn state win. Total sydney. Nine go you mentioned. It was at eight and a half earlier and you see that in the juice here over plus one ten under minus one forty plus five fifty to win the.

"Running backs wide receivers Safeties offensive line. And then I would have, uh Put the, um I think I would have put the defensive. I would have went with defensive ends at five. Yeah. The other thing I want to mention is the discussion you and John had a few minutes ago about when when they changed the schedule back between Michigan and Michigan State. Now it and I think it was John that brought it up that said, Or was it you that said they thought, uh, Utah, Dave Brennan was the one behind that. White changed. No, I said it was changed when they they, Brandon was at the help at the athletic directors. When he was in the position as athletic director. He didn't seem to put up a fight. Hi. I'm Dave Brandon. But, you know, you know when it happened was when Rutgers and Maryland joined the league and I believe was 2014, and they rearranged all the schedules Well, when they did that They put Michigan State at home again in their own place, and we had just played them the year before, So we had to plan back to back at at East Lansing. That's where our brave a D Day Brandon came up with the, uh Health scare, writing scheme and the, uh coats and everything else, and, uh, you know, and then and then it's fully started changing, and then it was that way for quite a few years. Until recently, they decided to change back, But yeah, lots of people were really upset about it. Well, to be honest with you. I mean, remember They were gonna they were trying the big 10 and Uh, Michigan and Ohio State. We're gonna They were gonna play the Ohio State game early. You they were trying to get everybody jazzed up and say, Hey, we're going to play this game earlier with. I mean, we think we're going to you know where we know it's tradition, but You know, we don't have a problem with playing it early. I know it came out of, uh, day. Brandon's mouth about it, he says We're going to play it early. And I know that, uh, the Avalanche director down in Columbus He had hinted at it, but he got he got worse. Worst backlash. Then Dave Brandon did. To the point where they were not happy, But Michigan fans came through. They weren't happy either. Yeah, they were remember that now and then we're going to play it like in the middle of the year. Something like October or something there. Mhm. Well, if you remember they used to play the game, then until the late mid thirties, and then it was switched to the last game of the year where it's been ever since. But Why they wanted to do that to begin with. I just don't understand that, um I don't know what they're thinking was the truck. I think both teams would have been. They were gonna probably separate Michigan, Ohio state in separate divisions so they may play each other. They were going to keep the rivalry game. But there's a possibility of both teams going to the the championship and playing again. And if they played it at the end of the year, you may see it twice. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, and Jamie, Those are good guys you had on yesterday and today. Uh, I'm sorry. Who was the guy that you had on day before yesterday, our day yesterday. That would be Jack Miller. Jack Miller. Okay, now, are you going to have these guys? I assume you have these guys regularly during the football season. We're going to be regular during during the football season. Yeah. Okay. Are they going to be? Are you going to be able to? Maybe if you think about it, uh, have them around when we do phone calls, and people can ask them questions and stuff. You know what? I just, uh Haven't done. I haven't done this or told miss about this. But, hey, let's do some breaking news right now, whether we're going to do a round table Where everybody joins in, and we're going to sit there have some people talking and you can ask questions of the round table. Law so starting just one of irregular shows. Yeah. On Thursday. Okay. How's the video thing coming along? I see men's pretty good. He's looking good. Yeah, I bet he is. But I can't see them. It's coming. It's coming to. Yeah, it's a slow, it's a slow process. Sadly, it's yeah, a lot of it comes down to we'll just go and cut right to it. The monetary aspect of things. So once once the Once the checks have been once checks have been put into the old banker brewski and we get the thumbs up. We're gonna go. We'll go alive. We'll go live on the old Facebook on Twitter and on on our YouTube channel. Which will be getting up here. Sooner rather than hopefully later, so well, it's still still process. Trust the process, trust the process, and and I had an idea for your very first video show. You guys probably won't do it. But you should is, uh, discuss up really nice looking suits for your very first time. No, I'm not wearing press everybody not wearing a suit. Nope. I don't even I barely wear one at wedding receptions. I am not wearing a suit on on camp. No, sir. Uh, well, Oh, I don't blame me. I guess. Alright. And Jamie one last thing I brought him up before and, uh he really would be good on your show. If you can try to get them is, uh Doug Skiing. Yeah, I will call Doug and see if he's if he's available, okay? Yeah, he's you know, he's I don't know. I don't know how many times you've heard him on different shows and stuff like that. But you want to hear the real truth about Michigan football and everything else about it? He Cuts right to the point and easy. He's the only five time Letter winner at Michigan..

"Always there. They're going to cause problems for everybody. Wouldn't be shocked to see Michigan State put together a good year. You know, I wouldn't be shocked to see Mel Tucker get Get some buy in from those from those players and from that program and do well, um, you know, I don't know if I have it ranked out at this point. I think you know those are the ones that that you certainly have to look at. And consider North questions. Always tough, right? I mean, how many years of North going to sneak into the into the big 10 championship? Exactly. Us realizing, you know, um so it will be interesting to see how it how it pans out after Ohio State. You wonder, uh, is this year that Ohio State's not just gonna move? You know, just just methodically into the next chapter and just continue to do things so so Well, I don't know, I think I think, given the climate coming into this season, which it feels like we haven't had one in two years, right hands back in the stands, the n I l thing has opened up a can of worms that I don't think anybody knows where that's going. Um, I think we're going for some surprises. You see here that that wouldn't shock me one bit, But you know, you obviously have to show Ohio State me the favor. And then after that, I think you got a bunch of teams. Clustered up looking to pull away from one another. I think And I agree with you The thing about Ohio State, they don't Well, we have it. They don't have a backup quarterback. They don't have a quarterback. That's that's been, um, you know, identified day I saw some highlight films on Twitter of a guy would do. I guess he has. He has the mullet and he was in the blonde. He was throwing the ball. He's got a great are that's true about that young man I saw But you know, I don't know of him. I don't. I haven't heard about him. There's not a lot of buzz about him. But yeah, Ohio State has great talent, and they continue to bring gate great talent to their university. They just haven't It's been remarkable. And I'm from the state of Ohio. So I've seen in my whole life. How they every time there is a question mark you go. That's gonna be it right. Is this where they're gonna in the armor, and they just have it. They just I mean, even the transition from Urban Meyer to Ryan Day was seamless, right? I mean, talk about a succession plan. Every every corporation in America should take note of how that program did that because there's no better succession plan and what they pulled off there, and they just you know they haven't missed. "A great writer like maverick can get them on the podium in short order but winning and getting more wins them. What he's used to getting on the yamaha that's going to take work and being a legit championship. Contender is gonna take a lot of work and it could take a fair amount of time to now if we look at it from the cadi perspective. The performance is going to be there right out of the box. That's faster bike than the probably right. Now they're making strides all the time but it is a satellite team that he would be racing for and in the end. Do kadi is always going to give preference to the factory. Riders as mapping eight can tell you any day of the week So one option is going to be behind on performance the other behind on prestige and preference the two main hanging points that he has right now with yamaha he feels that the performance is inconsistent. And that they're not treating him like a number one rider. Well he could go to appropriate. He could go to kathi. He's only gonna get one of those things probably is definitely going to treat him like the clear number one. You're going to be super happy to have him there but they can't give him a bike that's better than the omaha do- coty may be able to give him a bike. That's the equal of or sometimes better than the omaha. But if the jack miller and eat the nilo petrucci he ain't going to be number one and so that's why i go back to my initial statement lot of weather. This is the right. Move for maverick. And whether it's actually going to make him happier all depends on his expectations. If maverick's main goal is to be the number one is to have the team build the bike around him as opposed asking him to adjust to the bike and by the way his dad maverick fan. Y'all is his dad. Did an interview this week. And he said that is the only reason in his estimation. Why maverick is leaving yamaha. Not because he doesn't want to be on that bike but because he feels that the team isn't taking his opinion seriously and isn't molding the bike to his capabilities. And that's what he wants and if that is his main goal then for sure then y'all is could be happy at a pro and over on facebook. Andreas made a comment that he thinks that that feeling of being that number one rider in having the manufacturer mold the bike around. You just like honda with marc marquez. He thinks that's really what's behind. A lot of mavericks very public very vocal complaints with the bike. And that he's doing that not so much because he thinks there's some magic thing that yamaha's withholding from him that they're giving the fabio but more they aren't acting on his opinions and i can believe that a good part of his jabs at the engineers and the bike are a bit of projecting of his emotional state not being that number one in feeling insecure about that. But let's face it. Even if maverick's father is being genuine and saying that his priority is the feeling is the relationship with the team when it comes down to it. Performance is really always the top priority for everyone emoji p. for riders for teams for manufacturers. Because let's face it. If maverick didn't feel coddled by yamaha but he was winning six races a year and grabbing twelve or fourteen podiums. He wouldn't be looking around at other options. He wouldn't be having press conferences where he said. He made a huge mistake re-signing and he wouldn't be saying he felt disrespected by the team. Even if they were blatantly disrespecting him to his face if he was winning ten races a year he wouldn't care about that. Okay maybe my care about a little bit but not enough to leave if he was women championships man. I mean if he won the past three championships then he could have had a spat with lynn jarvis. And it's not gonna change anything. He's coming back next week. He's getting on the bike and he's going to go out there and try to win because he knows he can win so no matter what. His top priority is as far as outward. Appearances performance is going to be super high on the list to and a lack of it is going to increase his frustration level. And it doesn't matter where he goes any new team. It's going to be tough for him at first and not. Just if he's going to aprilia or if he's going to a satellite team he could be going straight to honda. Where marquez is dominated in one zillion championships and it could still be tough. I just ask who. He'll lorenzo asked police boggle about that and it might take a while before he gets to the level where he wants to be especially with an incomer or developing organization like apprecia-. And you know it's possible that if he doesn't have the patience for that and performance was really the big thing nagging him at yamaha. Well a couple of years are in short order down the line. That another relationship could tailspin as a result. Now i tend to think that the feeling of being wanted to being the number one rider. I tend to think that is his main concern right now. But how long before. Performance is gonna take center stage if he's not competing for championships if he's not competing for wins or maybe even not competing for podiums and with that in mind. I think that dj over them read it some that very very well mavericks whole emotional mental state going through this time. I am one sentence which cracked me up by the way he said quote whatever. The future holds for maverick. I'm sure it will be maverick in nature and it really feels that way doesn't it. I mean maverick is rapidly becoming the new. Hey lorenzo where. His own unique brand of controversy seems to follow him around wherever he goes. And you know i think. The dj was referring just as much to his approach to his team and racing. Which pretty much boils down to an excellent plan and execution in practice and qualifying and then when that works really well he then try to translate that directly to the race without really accounting for or adjusting to any of the variables. That might come up if i said what you were really thinking. They're dj and if that really is the case that wherever he goes. It's gonna be very maverick in nature. Then not a parent that that approach to racing is going to change simply because the color is on his leathers are different. And i think that's what. Dj's point pretty much was and tom was on the same page over on facebook. Thinking that mavericks best move isn't necessarily to another team but maybe to sports psychologist to maybe get out of his own way a little bit..
