His bio says he's an American -born author, mathematician. You see, we've already taken a sharp left, and professional troublemaker. He's written many books on a range of subjects, religion, philosophy of science, postmodern theory. Two, he's a leading expert on critical race theory, which means, of course, that he rejects it utterly. He's written many books. Why don't we just get him on here? James Lindsay, welcome to the program. Hey, Eric. Great to see you. You don't sound too enthusiastic. You don't want to oversell. Now, listen. Yeah, it's morning. Listen, you. I know it's early where you are, but honestly, you are tough to sum up. For my audience that is not familiar with you, I know you through turning point events and other things and here and there, but how would you help somebody understand how you got to be doing what you're doing now, and you're an expert on critical race theory, and how did this start for you? Where did you grow up? Can we start there? Yeah, we can go all the way back. Actually, my family is from two different parts of New York State, but nowhere near the city, so I have roots, New York but we moved down to East Tennessee very early on in my life when I was five. I grew up primarily in East Tennessee, so I'm an Appalachian culturally, but with this parentage that made fun of Appalachian culture that didn't quite let it take full root. Difficult to sum up even from childhood, I suppose, but I grew up in East Tennessee. You're not part of a jug band, is that what you're trying to tell me? No, I'm not. I did learn at one point when I was a teenager to play the spoons, but that's been a while.

A highlight from Commemorating The 22nd Anniversary Of The Sept. 11th, 2001 Attacks
"It's funny how people lie about actual real world events, even as we witnessed them on video, like Trump's visit to the Iowa football game. And he just got a resounding welcome. And they were trying to pretend he was being booed. You know, because there might have been a smattering of boos or a few people that gave him the middle finger, they wanted to pretend that he didn't get an absolute hero's welcome at the football stadium. And the video showed he did. Even CNN acknowledged it. Screaming, USA! USA! Trump! Trump! Trump! Man, oh, man. Republicans need to focus on Iowa and New Hampshire to try to stop him. I guess that might be their firewall if you're Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley or one of the others. I don't know how they're going to stop him. We shall see. It's September 11th. We're broadcasting from lower Manhattan. It's been 22 years since the September 11th attacks changed our world forever, changed our way of life, changed the way we view, oh, things like freedom. Freedom is on my mind today a lot. And I want to start with a difficult question about 9 -11. You know, 9 -11 spurred the Patriot Act, where the government felt that steps needed to be taken in order to be able to thwart terrorism. And the Patriot Act essentially took away the freedom that many, many Americans had enjoyed. Now, I understand we've got to try to figure out how to battle terrorism. Totally get it. But what I'm not too clear on is when the door got cracked open, where today the government is criminalizing speech to such an extent that they want to lock up the 45th president of the United States. The New York Times did a huge piece. Trump's indictments, key players in the 2020 election effort, it is quite the quite the article. They call out just about everyone in Trump's orbit and essentially accused them of being co -conspirators in a crime to overturn the 2020 election. It's insane. It's insane to witness the absolute destruction of speech in this country. And I want to ask you a difficult question. I want to start with it. Did it begin with the Patriot Act? Did this begin with 9 -11? Because my hunch is it might have. And if so, then Republicans are culpable as well. I think the more immediate place we're at right now is due to COVID. COVID cracked open the door to say, hey, if you question anything about the vaccine or about masks or about lockdowns, we're going to destroy your life. We're going to get you fired. We're going to deplatform you. We might even put lock you up. If you dare, I know a guy who lost a job, a good job, because he expressed a belief on social media that he shouldn't have to wear a mask because his coworkers were triggered by him. Now, he has since sued the employer, and I hope he wins. That's still winding its way, I think, through the legal process. But that's just one example of many. Everybody has an example. Everybody knows an example of somebody who paid a heavy price for daring to open their mouth. It used to be that America is a place where you were allowed to open your mouth. You were allowed to question authority. You were allowed to question any narrative you wanted, and we weren't going to lock you up for it. Democrats in 2016 questioned the election. All of them did. I've played that montage for you 100 times. Hillary, John Lewis, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Jimmy Carter, they all said Trump didn't win. The New York Times isn't doing a big expose on them. The New York Times isn't calling them out. But now they're calling out, and I mean everybody, Ronna McDaniel, Ted Cruz, Mike Lindell, anybody within—in fact, I saw in the comments section of this shocking article in the New York Times, somebody said, well, shouldn't Fox News be next? What about talk radio? Yeah, that's right. The left wants to lock all of us up for daring to express opinions. When did this terrible, dark chapter begin? They've sold it off. Even to try to rebuild and keep in mind when Trump says rebuild, a lot of the wall was being fortified. He didn't literally build hundreds of miles worth of wall, unfortunately. I wish he had the left and unfortunately some rhinos did everything they could to slow the border issue down. That's something that has to be started all over virtually again with the exception of the 40 plus miles that were added because the Biden administration literally are continuing to sell off some of the material. Some of the some of the material is just setting still not doing anything but they're selling it off. They did they did the same thing as a matter of fact with material from the Keystone XL pipeline. Just so you know how evil and disgusting and despicable the Biden administration and his leading up to this and this show. I'm going to show you how and thank you Tracy for reminding me the the woman was Robin from Hawaii from the state of Hawaii. I don't recall what island and and Derek you're right. I think more more people need to read the left so we understand what the left is doing so that we're not fighting so harshly against each other because I really do believe and I understand you want Trump to win. I got it. Fight for him like heck and you should and you should but there's a mistake I believe in sabotaging Adron DeSantis. I think there's a mistake in in in in saying nobody else should compete in the race and I'm not going to lie with you lie to you. I I don't want a lot of those people on the stage. The only people frankly that I care about and I know I'm going to offend some people out there are Trump DeSantis and Larry Elder and I'll tell you why and and I want to bring I want to bring I'll tie all this together. I promise you and Joe I promise you I'll get to Joe and Louisville, Kentucky. I'll be coming to you because you got an important call here that I that I want to take on but there's a reason why I I say Trump DeSantis and Larry Elder and I'm okay with those three. I'm okay with those three hashing it out. Now I do live in Realville you know Rush Limbaugh was the mayor of Realville. If I'm looking at the polls even though I I know that the polls are skewed I know that the polls are wrong I still know that Trump has a humongous lead over everyone. That is clear even in state polling that is very clear so it is more than likely that Trump will be the GOP nominee unless there's fewer people. I'm a selfish person. I like we the people. I realize that Trump if he gets in he gets four years and I'm sitting there thinking okay we need to win 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036, 2040. How do we do all this? How do how do we do all this? If if you think that it's going to be a four -year plan we're going to somehow turn America around in four years you're sadly mistaken. You're just you're you're sadly mistaken. The DOJ issue is the biggest issue in my opinion out there. The way that the DOJ the FBI how they've been utterly corrupted is the biggest issue but there's something I got to share with you. Unfortunately the DOJ and the FBI being corrupted just shows us that we're too late to the party so it is the biggest issue out there but unfortunately all of the other issues that preceded that in order to create a corrupt DOJ a corrupt FBI we're late to the party. I believe that Trump is better when it comes to that stuff right DOJ stuff and all that man he just I think he'll go in and just wreck shop. I love that. I think I think Trump is better instinctively with foreign policy. He's just honestly he changed my views on some foreign policy stuff and that I absolutely love and adore adore him for. I love his sheer tenacity force of will but I'll be straight with you when it comes to the stuff leading up to DOJ and Ron DeSantis is better and I don't care if you like that or not he's got an instinct for that. You don't have to you can whine like little girls on the left you can lie about it you can deny it you can do what some conservative columnists and and and influencers have been done uh doing that all of a sudden DeSantis is the worst but no I'm sorry he's our second best guy and I don't think it's even close and I think you're playing a seriously dumb game if you try to sabotage them. I think you're an idiot. I think you're a fake MAGA person and I don't think you're out for the country. I think you're out for yourself if you're trying to sabotage our second best guy. I just opinion for the betterment of America. You're an idiot. I want to make it completely and emphatically clear because this is not a one election game. We've come to the party way too late. Ron DeSantis' instincts on cultural Marxism and what led up to the DOJ corruption I'm sorry he's been better than Trump on that. When it comes to the issue of COVID I'm sorry I see all of the naysayers oh well Ron DeSantis is lying he did this he did these are the the whiners these these are the guys in the MAGA movement that need testosterone uh oh Ron DeSantis he's lying about you know he was he he was what are they saying oh he he locked down Florida and guys I live in Florida yes he followed orders just like everybody else but you had what's what's her name Kristi uh and I'm missing someone the lady in Iowa that were very strong on COVID but once DeSantis backed out of COVID he was better than anybody else by far by far it wasn't even close it showed me that he was instinctually getting stuff and he was strong enough to say whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa wait a minute here's what's going on now and he wasn't falling to the pressure so that's why I want to see Trump on stage because as much as I love Trump and we've got a video here saying don't comply with COVID well I'm sorry I love Trump I love Trump but I'm we the people first I want Trump to tell me what he learned so that he does about COVID uh and and the deep state so he never gets duped again when he's in office that's what I want to know I deserve that as a voter you may not want that that's up to you but I'm a we the people person I want that because you know what I don't have the resources to fight against the deep state I don't have them if they lock me up I'm gone away forever you're never going to hear me again so I'm pretty selfish I want to stay out of prison I don't want to be the proud boys guy that I'm gonna that I'm going to talk about uh later Larry Elder the reason why I want him is simple in my opinion Larry Elder is a better communicator than DeSantis he's a better communicator uh than than Trump and I think he can communicate those ideas better than them and even to minority voters I think he can communicate our ideas better to minority voters than DeSantis and Trump can so I figure let them fight it out I think Trump is going to win but let them fight it out because you know why with those three I think we the people win and the left is an isolated on Donald Trump where they can just aim all right so take everybody out of the race let let's take everybody out of the race and let's just let the DOJ the FBI the the mainstream media big tech every look at everything that has been unleashed on Trump This is something that should not be controversial. You know, sometimes pastors say, I don't want to get political. Well, how about this? This is the most biblical thing you could do in education. It's repeated throughout the scriptures of why the strong nuclear family is necessary. Jack Hibbs, your thoughts. Have you noticed, Charlie, that over time there were issues that a pastor could maybe get involved in with or not? Maybe? I don't know. We'll see. And then things escalated into things like abortion and your liberty and your freedom. And now we're at the point where if a pastor and or a Christian or a concerned citizen doesn't stand for this, our children, this is the sacrificial block. This is where the kids are being literally sacrificed in the public square, in the school, on as it were an altar. This is it. If a pastor or a parent doesn't stand for this, it's over. Game over, Charlie, because if we do not defend our own flesh and blood, then we are no different than those that are turning a blind eye or participating in the worship of Moloch or Remphan or Baal or these other ancient gods that have seemed to return in our school system and in the public square. It's now down to child sacrifice because we have failed to speak up earlier when we had a chance. That is exactly right. It is the return of the old gods. There is only one God, but they're small gods in the small g in the sense of the fake pagan things that were worshiped exactly what was dealt with thousands of years ago. So Jack, final sign off here, marching orders. I can hear people in the audience, but Charlie, my pastor, Charlie, my pastor, we need the church to be strengthened, to be involved. I just love this Chino story, everybody, because the people on the board are from the church. They're in the school board. Jack, bring it home for us. Yeah, and I want to add this. "Joining us now is Jack Hibbs. Jack, I catch you every Sunday. This last Sunday, you weren't preaching, so I feel as if my routine and my schedule has been all messed up. Jack, great to see you first. Your thoughts on this Gazdan flag story because it kind of ties into what we're going to talk about today. Listen, first of all, love the kid. We need 10,000 kids just like this guy. Charlie, let's remember, the woke world has completely flipped history intentionally on its head. They can't cope with truth. And the truth is this, that Gazdan flag, if anybody has ever taken the time to study the history behind that flag, and also Charlie, the appeal to heaven flag, that flag stands for the exact opposite of what this kid was attacked for. That flag stood for and stands for the mission and the commissioning of this nation to break free from the tyranny of King George III that would ultimately lead to the liberation of the slaves and for this to be a free nation. The Gazdan flag announces freedom is coming for all. And for them to say what they've said shows you either A, their profound ignorance of American history or they're very malevolent and they know the history of America, but they're trying to flip it on its head. That don't tread on me flag was our commitment to making sure that all men lived free. Yeah, and it's a huge part of American history. And what was striking about the conversation, Jack, is that he said that his classmates have pride pins, gay pride stuff, trans pride. Now, this is a classical school, mind you, Jack. And yet at a classical school, he has a don't tread on me patch and it becomes this entire thing he said, communist pins, perfectly fine. What is it about the truth? What is it about any sort of element that of of things that challenge tyranny that make these bad guys so worried? It terrifies them because any position of freedom or anything that reminds them of the fight for freedom causes them to go into some sort of a fit because it's the loss of control. If somebody wears an American flag, they're uncomfortable because they've got to think about history. They don't want to do that. When they see the Gazdan flag, then they've got to either figure out what it means. And when they do find out, it's just sends them into a cardiac arrest because it's all about freedom. They don't want freedom, Charlie. Our nation is under attack. I would say that this is an asymmetrical war. It's unconventional and they can't defeat us with bombs and guns. So they're defeating us in the area of argumentation. So that means, and I thank God for your program and for you, Charlie, educating people on how, even as Christians, to stand up and fight. Being polite is not a virtue. We need to remember that. We need to exercise the fruit of the Spirit and get in the fight to defend kids just like Jaden and any other generation that's coming after us. But look, it falls upon us to stand like never before. And I'm just calling upon every pastor and every Christian to stop playing it easy and get in the fight. We need you. You need to come on in. By the way, the water's fine. Jesus is in it. And it's absolutely awesome. And I got to tell you, I know no other form of Christianity. That's how you shine the light. And that's how you become righteousness in a very unrighteous culture. Jack Hibbs is the model, everybody, of a church that is healthy. They preach the word every Sunday. They talk about current events. They are involved in their community. And so, Jack, I did not even need to do research. As soon as somebody sent me something that said, Chino Valley School Board fights for parents' rights, I said, I know Jack Hibbs is involved. I know that somebody from his church, and lo and behold, my gut instinct, Jack, because I've visited your church so much and I've got to know your flock, I have now learned that my suspicion was correct. All of the Chino Valley USD School Board members who's voted for parental disclosure go to your church. So, Jack, take as much time as you need. Build out the story because now the California Attorney General is suing the school board for saying that parents have a right to know if their 14-year-old is transitioning their gender. Yeah, exactly right, Charlie. In fact, the president of the school board, Sonia Shaw, she is from our church. You're exactly right. Four to one victory on what? They voted four to one, Charlie. This is quite technical, so follow me through on this. One of the young men that we had elected to the state assembly, Bill Asili, he immediately crafted, once he was elected to Sacramento, he immediately crafted Assembly Bill 1314, and that was simply this, a proactive bill that would require that the school district inform or the school where a child is attending informs the mother or the father that their child is in any way, shape, or form transitioning or has expressed desire to be in the state of transitioning. In other words, please tell the parents. That's what we're asking for. So, the California state legislature read his bill and refused to let it go to the floor, Charlie. They banned it from the floor. They stonewalled it. They didn't let it get to the floor. He came back thinking he was defeated. What we did is that we read his bill and we took the verbiage from that bill and then introduced it to our unified school district school board and they voted and adopted the verbiage. So, what was supposed to go state law turned out to be defeated there at the state, not even heard, but that's okay. Guess what happened? We found out something, Charlie, that the most powerful politics is local. And so, what happened is the school board voted to adopt his verbiage and since that time, Charlie, we're looking at Murrieta School District, we're looking at Orange School District, Temecula School District. Four school districts have adopted the verbiage and they are standing strong. We've got five others in the state of California coming online to do the same. Charlie, this is a groundswell of involvement, but here's what happened. At our school board, Gavin Newsom secretly, covertly sent down Tony Thurman, that is his head of public education for California. He came down to beat us up. What happened was during the school board meeting, the parents and the school board ejected him after his one minute of conversation. You're allowed one minute and he defended Gavin Newsom's stand that the parents do not have the right to know. He was booed, he was shut down and he was removed from the meeting and that caused Newsom to be so upset that Bonta is his name. Bonta, Attorney General, just filed a lawsuit against Sonia Shaw and the Chino Unified School District Board to sue them because they do not believe it's the parents rights to know what the child decides and so we're going to take that on. We're going to make sure that this goes to the U.S. Supreme Court, but he has weaponized Newsom and Bonta. They have weaponized Charlie, the California state judicial system, to seek to shut down every school board in California that rises up against them. Here's the good news, they don't have a leg to stand on. We have talked to every decent legal mind and group to conclude they don't have a leg to stand on. Let's fight, we're going to take it to the top and to the Supreme Court if necessary. And then real quick, Charlie, we commissioned a Rasmussen poll regarding parental rights. Do you believe that child, whatever they're involved in, should be notified to the parents? That Rasmussen poll came back, Charlie, 82% of parents said that they want to be notified about what their kids are being taught or introduced to in the public school system. 82%, again, that's a bona fide, qualified Rasmussen poll. So, Charlie, they're losing in the ballot box, losing in the classroom, they're losing in the school boards here in California. I'm going to tell you, Charlie, I know you're in Arizona, but I wouldn't leave California for anything. The fight is raging here and we are winning where we need to win. It's awesome. Jack, I have so much admiration for you. You gave a sermon recently where you said, why are we leaving? We are in the heart of the fight and we're going to abandon the largest state in the country and it's very easy to flee and to leave. You're doing the opposite. So, Jack, I just want to drill in on the specifics here. This radical fringe crazy idea that is being pushed forward by the Chino Valley School District is that if your 13-year-old wants to medically mutilate themselves, the parent is just notified. Notified. Is this the radical crazy fringe idea that the Attorney General of California is suing over, Jack? Oh, yeah, that's exactly it. No, mom and dad, no way. Now, you feed your kid and you pay for their insurance and you do whatever, but when it comes to your kid getting Charlie, you know this better than I do, the idea was popped in their head in the public classroom that the kid now has been groomed to start thinking this way. Oh, mom and dad, you're the last people on earth that need to know about this and so you just stay out of it. Let us castrate your children and let us mutilate them and you have nothing to say about it. Listen, California parents, grandparents, teachers that have a mind, you need to stand up against this stuff. If we all get on the same channel, so to speak, then Newsom and his henchmen cannot do anything about this. We need to stand up and speak. We need to take back our freedoms and clearly it happens locally. Start in your own school district and Californians, listen, our state will mutilate your child and you'll be the last one to know about it, but somehow they might hold you responsible for it if it goes south. You need to stand up and show up at school board meetings. And this is thanks to the church getting involved and it's important to understand that the radical left does not even believe in the concept of a parent.

"And so who in particular found your symbol objectionable? And that seems awfully hypocritical, doesn't it? That you're not allowed to wear a don't tread on me but your classmates can wear pride insignia. Well, I would like to know the identity of the teachers that it was racist and terrible, but they kept it anonymous. So I don't know. Yeah, it's crazy that they can wear what they want. If anything, I wouldn't be surprised if they took away my St. Michael patches that showed a sword, which is a weapon. So yeah, I actually, I saw that as the images went viral that you have Archangel St. Michael, may he pray for us in battle, who was mentioned repeatedly in the scriptures. So the school board then corrected course, Jaden. Do you think they corrected course because they actually believe it or because of all the pressure that they were receiving from the internet and from decent people who found this to be objectionable? Yeah, they turned off comments for their Facebook page, everything. My video going viral definitely had an impact on case we're having right now. But yeah, I doubt they would change for the good of their hearts. They only changed because if they didn't, probably their email would blow up. Well, Ms. Kojima, the lady saw, he took the day off of work. They didn't see us. The memes definitely had an impact. So I want to put an image up on screen. And by the way, just to our audience here, this is a 12 year old who's standing up against bullies, who is willing to fight for liberty and freedom. So I hope everybody in the audience here is as inspired as I am, that we have 12 year olds that understand the implications of the fight. I want to show an image here, Jaden. This is you looking at, is this the teacher's car that talked to you? Whose car is this? Because the car says, make America green again. It says, you know, all these other different things. And then your little patch on the bottom right hand corner is what they found objectionable. That's an awfully small thing. Walk us through this image, Jaden. Okay, so when I was walking home, apparently I can't, I couldn't go back to school until I took the patch off. When I was walking back to my mom's, I passed this car that had, like, don't mess with trans kids, the little Texas thing, and like, make America green again, all this stuff. What's interesting though is that the school that you attend, the Vanguard School, is a charter school that talks about classical education and teaching American history. It's striking that they would then misrepresent the Gadsden patch as being slavery. You guys had to teach the teachers history. Tell us about that, Jaden. I mean, yeah, we definitely gave her a history lesson. She also had to ask for my Jaden Rodriguez for vice president for student council. I have this hourglass. Here, you see, there's the base, the little outline over here, and then it's accepted. I ran it and said, what did that mean? Does it contain violence? And I'm like, well, it means dust always to the tyrant and their time is up. We're going to revolt against their flaws. How we revolted against the British 1776. So now that this has gone viral, Jaden, and the school district has backed off, how has this changed you, if at all, in the fight for liberty, in the fight for freedom? Tell us about it. Well, if it didn't go viral, they'd probably suspend me because I didn't listen to them. And if anything, yeah, I mean, they'd probably suspend me as well as others, maybe even expel me. But due to it going viral, if it hadn't gone viral, then I guess I'd be expelled.

"Yesterday, a story was going viral of a young man by the name of Jaden in Colorado, Vanguard School District, who wanted to wear a symbol from the American Revolution known as the Gazdan flag. In an encounter that was filmed and went viral, the school district said, you're not allowed to wear the Gazdan flag in our school district. Now, the school district has now since corrected core saying, actually, just kidding. You are allowed to have the don't tread on me symbol. But the young man with courage who is willing to stand up for our country's symbols and our history joins us now. Jaden, first of all, welcome to the program. You are 12 years old fighting for freedom. Tell us about yourselves and think about yourself and thank you for taking the time. Well, this whole problem started because the teacher complained about my patches, that they were racist and had slave origin. So, I had to miss out on a lot of class for that early reason. Thankfully, I'm due to my story going viral and the memes help too. They now said, yeah, wear your patch, completely fine. So, they definitely directed their work. So, Jaden, walk us through this. You obviously have a love of American history, love the hat, by the way. You're 12 years old. You're a national phenomenon and you are now fighting against unjust school board policies. And what I loved is in the video where you were sitting down, you didn't waver an inch. Tell us about your love of the country and why you felt it was important to stand for the Gazdan flag. I mean, it's a patriotic symbol that's depicted as some sort of flavor hate that, no, it was made in the Revolutionary War to warn the British, do not tread on our rights, which is hilarious because they tried to spend my rights, but that's the word out for them. So, this has gone in every kind of reach of the internet. You're 12 years old. Most 12-year-olds aren't really focused on, I don't know, fighting unjust rules and tyranny. So, kind of what is the reaction from your classmates been? And then also, are you now pleased that the school district has said you are allowed to display the flag? Well, I was at one of my friend's house last night and he's like, Jaden, are you famous? And I'm like, well, I did go viral. And he's like, yeah, my whole Snapchat, all my friends are saying, yo, look at this kid, famous, that's crazy, or something like that. They don't have formal language and types of reports. Um, but yeah, I've gotten the good feedback. Kids are saying they're gonna put, um, dad's flag on their walker. And yes, I am very happy that I can wear my so-called racist hat in school. Yeah. So, the school district was saying that the don't tread on me flag, they were saying, you know, was this quote unquote racist. You did not give an inch. And the school district then backed off once it became kind of a national story. Are there other, are there other symbols that weren't as controversial in your school that might be more on the left that would have been deemed acceptable, where you didn't have to go through this kind of hysteria? And more importantly, have you received an apology from either your teachers or the school board members that originally made you go through this? Well, when I walk in the hallways, I kind of feel sad because there's kids that can wear pride pins on their like dirt, their backpacks, whatever. And like the school doesn't say a word. I mean, I'm sure if they were even a communist Soviet Union perhaps they wouldn't say anything. But they don't, a Gadsden flag with a so-called don't tread on me hat as the vice principal, is so-called a hate symbol. I mean, yes, you have the freedom of speech and the First Amendment. I mean, you can wear what you want, even if I don't agree with it, still have the right to wear what you want, whatever the pass you want. The thing is like, I don't have, I don't have the First Amendment. They don't give me it, but they give the rest of the school it. That's what kind I'm upset over that. That's something that angers me. So Jaden, you mentioned something that some of your classmates can freely wear pride pins and all sorts of other symbols.

There's going to be this three -ring circus next week, a week from Friday, where President Trump and Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell and all the rest of them are going to get booked and processed like common criminals at the Fulton County Jail. There's one goal there. You know what it is. It's to embarrass. It's to intimidate. It is to attack a guy that more than half the country loves. And every attempt to embarrass him is going to result in his popularity increasing. Every effort to embarrass him is going to result in greater popularity for President Trump. I can't believe they've weaponized the Justice Department this way. It cannot stand. It will not stand. I'm in for Trump. And first of all, DeSantis becomes the single most popular politician in the history of America. His twenty twenty eight landslide would be guaranteed. Second of all, Trump's election in twenty twenty four would almost certainly be guaranteed. These Republicans could unify and have the opportunity to turn this whole thing around just like that. Now, it's not going to happen. I'm sure I'm delusional, perhaps. But man, oh, man, what a game changer that would be. And Mark Davis, boy, he went off on me. He just thinks I'm crazy, delusional. I don't want to let voters vote. I'm Hugo Chavez. I'm Venezuela. He kept arguing with me today that I'm trying to take away the right to vote. I said, Mark, that's precisely what Biden's Justice Department is trying to do. Don't you get it? And for Mark and people who feel the way Mark feels, it's just business as usual. Let's let it all play out. Let's have the primaries. Let's have the debates. Oh, next week. OK, let's get our popcorn out. There'll be a lot of drama, but that's OK. It'll all sort itself out. It's not going to sort itself out. People are going to have to stand up and and do things they would have never considered doing before. And I believe that would include Republicans unifying behind Trump. It could be a pipe dream, but then again, hey, it's 2023. Anything is possible. As I hope I promised you previously, we have the joy of a few minutes with Pastor John MacArthur, someone I admire profoundly. He is in a film that I have seen and recommend highly. It's called The Essential Church. Pastor MacArthur, welcome. Thank you. Good to be with you. Well, I have to say that, you know, yours was one of the braver voices in the last few years, and I'm thrilled that somebody tells the story in this film, The Essential Church for my audience. That's not familiar with it. Would you just share the basic storyline of what happened to you and to your church when the covid madness was launched in this country? Well, I think California was one of the most extreme states in trying to handle covid, so they basically said lockdowns, you know, all of that mask distancing and this then hit the churches. They shut the churches down while they left the casinos and the the marijuana places and some of the strip clubs open because they were essential. And it was at the same time that the BLM riots were happening everywhere. And you could you could put your mask aside and go to a riot. But you couldn't go to church. So we we we were hit pretty hard by that. And we thought if there's a real pandemic here and people are going to die, the church needs all the more to be open because you're cutting off a lifeline where spiritual truth is going to be desperately needed for people who think they're liable to die. And some actually will. So what do we do? Well, for the first few weeks, we we just kind of said, well, you know, maybe this is true, maybe we're all we're all going to perish. But after a few weeks, we knew that wasn't the case. So we we decided to open the church. We just opened it with no mask, no, no, no distancing, no nothing. We didn't follow any of the protocols whatsoever. So the state came after us kind of with a vengeance, the county of Los Angeles, the health department, the governor, Newsom, the state to try to shut us down. They threatened to take away our property, our parking lot. They were relentless. They fined me. They were laying out week by week additional prison sentence times. And we decided, look, we've got to react. So we we sued them on the basis of the violation of the First Amendment. And that launched this long, drawn out thing that went on for about a year and a half. They kept postponing and postponing and postponing that. The hearing twelve times, because the judge kept saying, you guys can't deal with the facts of this issue until you climb the mountain of the First Amendment. You've got to deal with the First Amendment. Well, they didn't want to do that. So finally we demanded, OK, we want a trial, no more hearings. We want a trial. And the first thing we're going to do is depose the county supervisors who are in charge of all this and all the health officials. OK, we're going to depose the health officials and we're going to make them tell the truth. Twenty four hours later, they rolled over, gave us everything we wanted, picked up three and a half million dollars of legal fees. They gave us a permanent injunction that the county and the state can never come against Grace Church again in the future. How did we get that? Because we threatened to depose them and make them tell the truth about Covid. And in order to protect themselves from doing that, they forked over. I mean, they wanted to close us instead of that. They gave us a permanent opening and paid three and a half million dollars. You know, part of this, the reason it's so wonderful to hear you tell this story and why I'm glad that this this film exists, folks, is called The Essential Church, is that this lie has crept in to American Christendom, that we're not supposed to fight back. We're not supposed to be political. We're just supposed to roll over and do what the government tells us to do, which is utterly unbiblical. But there are so many in the church that have really imbibed this lie and they privatized their faith and they would say, oh, you know, that's Pastor MacArthur. He's a hothead suing the government. Whoa, he's supposed to be, you know, friendly, making friends with everybody. What do you say? What do you say to folks like that? Well, well, first of all, I've never made friends with everybody, you know, my whole life because I preach the gospel. And the first message of the gospel is you're going to perish and end up in eternal judgment if you don't come to Christ. That's about as offensive a message as you could give. And that's where the gospel starts. But beyond that, we have to I mean, the church is the pillar and ground of the truth. We have to tell the truth. So this is what I can answer your question with one illustration. When we first did that, one of the leading evangelical organizations in the country wrote against us and said, why is MacArthur doing this? This is this is a virus. This this is not where this is not the hill to die on. Wait for the big battle. You know, save your ammunition for the homosexuals when they come after us or whatever it is. And my answer was, look, people said to me, how do you decide which battle to fight? And my answer is we fight every battle. We fight every battle for the truth. For the purity of the church, doesn't matter what it is, it's the it's the little battles that when they accumulate, you end up with a liberal, nonexistent church over time. We fight every battle. We earnestly contend for the faith, and that's right out of the New Testament. I mean, we're told to do that. So it's not that we're angry about it. It's that the church and the truth is, if anything, is worth defending. That's worth defending for the sake of people's eternal souls. And what do you make of the idea that so many in the church missed it? In other words, they did not stand up the way you did or Pastor Che on dead or Jack Hibbs or Rob McCoy. There are a number of folks who understood we need to stand against this, that this is the biblical stand. We need to stand and pay a price if need be. But the majority, it seems to me, in the church did not. And it's it's a shameful moment in the church. And I guess I wonder if some of them are getting it now. They're waking up. Are they repenting of their inaction? What is your sense of how that happened? You know, I think this goes back to the feminization of the culture, and it ends up with the feminization of the church. You just have you have too many weak men, too, too many men who have been influenced by the raison d 'etre of the current zeitgeist. You might say of this culture, that men have been, you know, just emasculated. And that shows up in the church. I mean, you've got you've got weak men and weak leadership, such weak leadership in the church. I mean, look, if you don't think we have weak leadership, look at the president. I mean, that's the best we can do for the entire nation. This is this is talk about not being talk about beta male. I mean, I don't know where that is in the alphabet, but it's far down below that. So there's just a dearth of strong men. You know, the New Testament says, act like men, be strong, be courageous. And it isn't it isn't that you do that to protect your own investment or your own ministry. It's you do that because you're standing for God's truth. It's a much higher it's a transcendent cause, but it takes some courage and conviction. The courage is not something you have to muster. If you love the truth, if you believe the truth with all your heart, you end up defending it. Well, I'm just thrilled to know that you did and that they made a film about it. "They did. That's a simple fact. OK, so to back up what you just said, check this out. Yes to what you just said to the point where. Notice this now. Think of the news cycles, Eric. Think about the news cycles during an election season, say 2016, 2018, 2020. You never heard a peep out of California. No. Think of it. No news from California regarding the elections. That was planned. And I'm going to I'm going to prove it to you. During those election cycles, our church is doing voter registration. And I'm speaking about the biblical issues that are on the ballot. And I'm speaking about the biblical issue worldview regarding the candidates. Right. I put them up on the screen. Right. OK, all of that. Why? Because the people were given a biblical worldview on how to vote. Watch what happened. They went out and voted and California passed a really stupid law for called ballot harvesting. Yes. OK. In the Aramaic, it's cheating. But go ahead. Yes. So it's a bad law. And we have our people up in Sacramento in office that are believers. And they said, hey, this just passed. So we got the phone call within the hour and we immediately started talking about it. And seriously, within a few hours, we had a response. If it's legal, then we are going to lead the way on this. If ballot harvesting is legal, we're going to call it ballot collection. I thought I couldn't love you more. No, wait. But did the fact that you understood this. Just wait. Yeah, it gets more fun. Yeah. So there's an election in the 25th District in Los Angeles. Yeah. And a guy by the name of Garcia, Mike Garcia, 25th District veteran fighter pilot, conservative pro -lifer, runs for office. And we implemented the Democrat rules of ballot collection. We call it ballot collection, ballot harvesting. The difference is we wound up buying our legal state authorized Amazon voting boxes. They got locks on them. They're made out of steel. We used those and Mike won. It was our first victory. OK. Now, hold on. This is called a cliffhanger in show business. By the way, did you know that this is a show business? This is a cliffhanger. So, Jack, you're just sharing something amazing. So keep going with the story because this is so fascinating that you're this involved, that you're thinking about this stuff. I love it. Well, we see this. We see the crazies in Sacramento pass a very terrible law. We reviewed the law. We had a few attorneys look at it and we actually implemented. How can we do this for the kingdom of God? If that's the rules, let's do it. And so we wound up making it so secure, so obvious. We had voter. We had voting collection boxes. We had video cameras. We had it so ironed out so well that he won overwhelmingly. And it shocked the Democrat Party. OK. Then comes along the congressional race with Darrell Issa in San Diego and with Young Kim in the Yorba Linda Chino Hills area and Michelle Steel in the Huntington Beach Orange County area. And we did the same thing. We contacted churches in the area and said, this is where you go. You rent the boxes from Amazon. We're going to host a one -day seminar at our church on how to manage and how to secure the vote. Watch this. It gets better. At the end of each Sunday evening on Monday morning, because you only got 72 hours to turn ballots under in video with volunteer armed guards, police donated their time. Ballots went to the county registrar's office and were video delivered into the hands of the officials. It was the most secure vote. Watch what happened. All four. Mike ran again. All four of those congressmen won. We started doing it again in 22. Who is in charge right now of the House in Sacramento? A guy by the name of Kevin McCarthy. Go back and look at 22 data. Systematically from 2016, California has been winning congressional victories to the point where in 2020, the Californians elected more to the office in Congress than any other state. It's happening, Eric, if people get their voice back. You are telling me you actually got involved in the political process. A pastor. A pastor should lead the way. It's nation's our history. And that's what I talk about wherever I go and what I wrote about in my book, Letter to the American Church. The idea that we're not supposed to be involved politically or not supposed to talk is not just nonsense. It's the devil's theology. It's absolute garbage. But how many pastors have bought the lie? Well, and that's what we have to. That's why you and I are getting together next week. Next week. That's why we're paying their way. They come free, wife and all, and they're going to have it all for free. Just one wife per pastor, though. You're kind of a legalist. You know what I mean? Sorry. Come on. In the Old Testament, they had hundreds, some of them. I mean, you don't need to be like that. All right. Honestly, the fact that you're doing this is so beautiful. But I just what you just said about how you oversaw this effort and how it worked. You were able genuinely to get people elected who have biblical values and so on and so forth. So it can be done if only people would get involved in this process. Yep. People can get involved by going to realimpact .us, realimpact .us. If they want to learn how to do ballot collection. I hate ballot harvesting because it sounds like they're taking a liver. Sounds like cheating. Or a lung. Realimpact .us. "And so a lot of them sold, and we're happy about that. But then it dawned on me, wait a minute, Eric, this needs to be delivered into the ears of pastors from Eric. So you are the one responsible for us. We wound up inviting pastors to pay, bring their wife, come to Huntington Beach, California in the Hyatt Hotel Resort, all expenses covered just to be instructed and schooled and inspired by various people like Kelly Shackelford for one and others. But the keynote speaker is Eric Metaxas. The whole conference that day, it's a one day get together, it's all based on your book. And it was motivated by your book because your book so inspired me that that's my response to your book. Every pastor must do what's in this book. I am a little humble to hear that, but thrilled because, you know, I didn't write the book as a career move. I wrote the book because I felt God called me to write it because our nation is at stake. And when I say a nation is at stake, the idea is that Bonhoeffer, of course, is all in the book titled Letter to the American Church. But in Letter to the American Church, I talk about how Bonhoeffer saw what very few pastors saw in Germany. He said the church is the conscience of the state. It is the role, the job, the duty of the church to speak out against evil and silence in the face of evil will be laid at the foot of the church. If the church is silent, God will hold the church accountable because the church, those are the ones who claim to believe Jesus defeated death on the cross and we're supposed to be free to speak the truth and to worry about it. So it's an amazing thing to me that, you know, I didn't, I never had planned to write the book, but sometimes you just have to, you just have to be honest and say, this is God. There's, I don't know how else to explain it. But the idea that it would inspire you, a very prominent pastor whom I admire to have a conference around this and to invite all these other pastors. I say this, Jack, because we need to know there is hope. There are a lot of people out there kind of sucking their thumbs and saying, well, it's all over. You know, God's judgment is falling and it's over. And I think, wait a second. We are not to cease fighting and praying and preaching. When God says it's over, it's over. But we're not supposed to lie down. We're supposed to fight and we're supposed to do the right thing. And so I do believe we are under judgment. There's no question. I mean, it's obvious. But to some extent, I believe that God in his mercy is using that judgment to rouse the sleeping giant, to rouse a remnant of people who, you know, if they had been roused in Bonhoeffer's day, the Nazis never would have been able to do what.

We believe we're in a free country. We believe the Constitution still is in effect. And so how did that go for you? In other words, what happened at that point? Well, Eric, I'll answer that and then I'm going to just add to the answer something that I just don't publicly talk about. But I think on your program and the nature of your program, so number one is it was exactly the Book of Acts where we command you not to preach anymore in Jesus' name. Yeah, it was obvious that the disciples wound up saying, look, you guys figured that out on your own, but for us, we're going to obey God. Yeah, jump in a lake. Yeah, go jump in a lake. "And that just that just now, wait, say this again, because I remember you told when I spoke at your church, you told my wife, Suzanne and me this story. So that one day you felt, you know, really, God speaking to your heart about what to do. Absolutely. Crystal clear. And basically, it's this, Eric. Jack, you do not have the authority. No man has the authority to shut the doors to my church. Behold, Revelation three. I've set before you an open door that no man can shut. So right from the get go, few hours later, that was very early hours. So early hours, I got a hold of the staff, told them what we're going to be doing. All of them signed on. I told them, don't worry, you know, you'll still have your job if you don't want to show up. They all showed up. And I immediately got these guys over here to get their cameras out. We recorded a 12 to 15 minute video to send to Gavin Newsom. We had a state assemblyman deliver that to him. And I simply said, you know, Mr. Newsom, with all with all respect to the office of governor. That's how I had to put it. I know what you mean by that. We're going to open up our church full blown open, but we're going to have all of these various experiences for people. They can sit in their car and listen if they'd like. They can they can sit outside six feet apart. They can sit in the the outdoor pavilion or they can just pack in like normal in the main sanctuary because it's a free country. It's a free country. You probably didn't realize, governor Newsom, that it's a free country and you no longer Caesar. No, seriously, you stepped up in a heroic way. And that's what leadership looks like. That's what it looks like to be faithful to God. And most of us didn't think that we'd be alive at a time where, you know, we'd be required to step up that way. But you did. "Wonderful film with our friend, our dear friend. I just have to say that it's it is an extraordinary thing to think back that it was Greg Laurie who really introduced you to the faith. Yeah, I went on a Monday night. Greg would do Monday nights and I heard the gospel for the first time in my life. It was a Monday night, June 20th, 1977. I'd never been to church before in my life. You're kidding. No, no, no. Never been to church before in my life. So somebody drags you to a church that's not a preacher. What happened? Yeah, not exactly true. I was I was going to a party at the beach. Right. Going down the street. And I saw two really cute girls pulled into a parking lot. God can use cute girls sometimes to draw us to the faith. It's interesting how that works. And so I followed biblical, but I've seen it. So I followed them in to the parking lot. And there was thousands of people there. I didn't know what was going on. Heard a lot of music, walked in, packed. And it looked like fun. It looked like a lot of fun. And people were singing. I couldn't understand it was so loud. And it was probably a good thing. I couldn't understand what I was saying. How old were you? I was I was 19, 19 years old. And so everybody, you know, music was over. People sat down and this hippie came out. And he had this this book that was trimmed in gold. It's like, what in the world is that? He opens up Greg. Laurie opens up the book of Revelation, Chapter 20, and he talks about a message which I own, by the way. I have that message on cassette. And the message was entitled How to Inherit Hell. And he went down the list of the people who are in hell. So the hippie was so the hippie was what do you mean? I mean, the hippie was telling me that. But which was this hippie, a hippie that I know, or was this? It was great. I was going to say this was I want to be very clear. We're talking about our friend, Greg. Laurie was the hippie. He was the hippie. I love it. He had. Yeah. And so Greg has given this message on how to go to hell. And everything, not everything, a lot of what you need to do to go there, I was doing. And Eric, I was I was so convicted of my was sweating. I knew that I mean, I didn't know what was going on, but I knew that I was I feel like I was the only one in the room. And I was sweating. I remember getting up and going forward. And seriously, that moment, I didn't feel anything, by the way, for for anybody who's thinking, well, what do you feel like when you get saved? I don't know about the feeling. I just knew that I was I felt incredibly guilty. How about that? I felt incredibly responsible for my sins, putting Jesus on the cross. And he gave the remedy for that, that he gave the gospel clearly. So I responded and I gave my heart to Christ that night. And by God's grace, I haven't looked back. And well, it's been an amazing thing. I love Greg Laurie, and I hope people saw the film Jesus Revolution. But to think that that's 1977, you then decide you want to become a pastor, you become a pastor, your pastor for years and years and years and years. And then just to bring us to the present, this weird covid hits. And a lot of I mean, look, we've all seen things that we've never seen in our lifetimes. We saw governors and mayors and others exert their authority in a way that just shocked us. We said, what is going on here? And you. Decided to push back. So you're the pastor of what's now a very big church in Chino Hills, California. Talk about what it was that made you say something's not right. I'm opening my church. Yeah. Well, first of all, immediately. And you probably have this understanding quicker because you're just so bright and so well informed. No, yes, you did. And it's this immediately when covid hit. My thoughts went to Martin Luther during the bubonic plague. What did they do? I wanted to know what the Luther do. What did Luther do? I happen to have written a biography of Martin Luther, and I'll have to check my book to see what it is. So what did Luther do? He ministered to the populace. And then I looked at the cholera epidemic under Charles Spurgeon when it hit London. What did he do? He had the church open. He ministered to the hurting. So it was very obvious to me. But to be honest with you, 15 days, remember 15 days. Let's shut down. Trump said 15 days because well, look, none of us had been through this before, so it sounded reasonable. It was weird. But we kind of thought, what can we say? What do we know? We've never been through anything like this before. So, OK, we can shut down for, I guess, 15 days. We'll all get a break. Well, here's what we did. We we we did not shut down exactly what we wound up doing. We didn't skip one day. What we did was we immediately went into full time 20. I mean, we were working 20 hours a day creating children's ministry materials because people being sequestered at home, evangelism. We were hosting all kinds of things. We took our sanctuary and put it into seven different types of studios for various ministries. Women's ministry was being streamed. Just so we really took on the media side of it. But then after after the after the 15th day, you know, let's take another 15 to flatten the curve. Things are things are weird because the only pictures we were seeing of dead people laying in the streets were from China. We weren't seeing it in the US. Yeah. And so it became clear to me two ways. Number one, on the secular side, when the experts don't agree, then something's up. Second thing is, I was just simply reading my Bible devotional. It was April 26th. I just remember reading. But God just really impressed my heart to encourage me that I've set before you an open door that no man can shut. He spoke that to the church in Philadelphia..

The Majority of Pastors Are COWARDS
"First first brag on the courageous, okay? There are a lot of great pastors out there. Second baptist here's a great church here in Houston. They deserve credit. They're a great truth. So I don't mean to dwell on the negative. But they are a minority, okay? That is a minority church in America. The courageous Jack hibbs, for example, pastor Jurgen. There are some amazing, amazing pastors, and they must be mentioned. They must be celebrated. It must be platform, but they are not a majority. The majority are cowards. Cowards can be nice people. Cowards can be sweet people. Cowards can be great at counseling. Cowards can be great at getting a parking car ministry outside of their big church. Cowards can have a great coffee bar. The cowards need to step up in a wartime for the gospel and do something because you can stop being a coward. How do you know that you have a coward leading your church? The roe versus wade test is another test. If your pastor has not mentioned mention in the last 30 days that there is a trans ideology that is targeting Christians with violent murderous behavior, you have a coward as a pastor. That's okay. So what do you do? Go lovingly confront your coward as a pastor in a room and say, why are you not mentioning this? Here's what they'll say, not my role. That is wrong. Jeremiah 29 7 demand the welfare of the nation that you are in because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare. You are commanded in the gospel time and time again to care for the least of these. The children, children are being mutilated with unbelievably aggressive pharmacological agents, lupron, and other things. It is the church's role to stand up for those that can not stand up for themselves. Not to mention, they might say, well, we don't do politics around here. Well, then how do you teach Esther mordecai nehemiah, Jeremiah and Daniel who are all counselors to the king, who cared about government for God's purpose. You just kind of gloss over that.

Pastor Jack Hibbs: What Is a 'Revival?'
"You know, we've been following the developments coming out of asbury and other universities now talking about these revivals. What do you make of that as a pastor? Yeah, I just have to be very biblical. So I my answer Todd is this. Look at the Old Testament. Look at the New Testament and then look at church history before we conclude what is a revival because here's the thing. I revival has to be measured. So what do you mean by that? A revival has got to bear fruit if it's of God. In the fruit will breed righteousness in the lives of the believers and that beautiful portrayal of Christ by the spirit winds up creating an awakening among the lost. And one of the great things a simple read is the life of George whitfield, who preached the gospel the church was revised and became so beautiful that the non believers basically knocked the doors down to get in. It's really in mass what the philippian jailer experience was with Paul and Silas. So I pray that as Barry and other worship services that are breaking out lead to full revival, my answer is time will tell. We shall see what's the fruit of it. Pastor Jack Hibbs: The Story Behind 'Jesus Revolution' & Chuck Smith
"When you do and I assume he did, he studied the role of who was this man chuck Smith. Todd, he was not flamboyant. He was extremely frugal and simple. He was at that era and the Jesus movement or the hippie era, chuck was considered an old man. And he had a pretty monotone voice, but he sat on the stool and opened the Bible and just taught chapter by chapter verse by verse and tens of thousands of people flocked to here. The Bible and they were hippies. They were, listen, I remember going there when I was 19 years old. And there were people showing up in the parking lot that had been invited off the streets are off the beach and you could even smell pot. Now in those days, I was fully legal. But it was like so shocking to where there are people that would come to church being invited by somebody. Hey, you should come. And they would bring drug addicts. They would bring prostitutes. They would bring religionists, you know what I mean? Anybody. So when you saw the demographic of any given service, it was shocking because there were men in three piece suits and there were hippies. There were people with no shoes and people with wing tips. And they were all shoulder to shoulder. And I thought Todd, 'cause I had no religious upbringing. I got saved in 77, and I thought that's what church was all. Whatever church was like. And I didn't know that. So I've been spoiled. It's the only example I've ever known is verse by verse, chapter by chapter Bible teaching and then Jesus does the rest. He brings his people to hear his voice through the word of God.

Pastor Jack Hibbs on the Role of Faith in the World Economic Forum
"World Economic Forum that recently met, like you said in Davos, they produce they published a bunch of papers, but one of the papers that they put out was a discussion that they had regarding the role that faith plays in the World Economic Forum. Now you see Jack, what are you guys talking about World Economic Forum? A gathering of some of the world's most powerful financiers, bankers, politicians, movers and shakers will sum it up that way. These people go there and they get these ideas from globalists, then they come back to their countries and they also speak attempt to speak the same language. Environmentalism, socialism, whatever is them. Let's all talk these talks. We go there to Davos, we unify our speech, we try to assemble what was dissembled, we're trying to put it together, and then we're going to launch it in the world and talk one language. What's very interesting is, and I just read it today on faith, they recognize that faith is a vital role to the human machine to humanity. And they seek to work with faith based people, individuals, because it's such a vital role. They said that they want to meet with faith leaders of the world. They said that they want to have a dialog with them. And then they published, I think it was 7 concerns that the World Economic Forum has regarding religious people. And they listed them. And one of them, I'll bring up a few of them. They're in my memory right now. One of them is that one of the problems with religious people that they need to get over is that they are not willing to experience change. Well, I disagree. Jesus changed us dramatically and radically.

Man Doesn't Do Well in Cities
"It interesting that nimrod said, let's build a city. First time we ever hear that, and cities are known for the propagation of evil. That's right. And danger, man doesn't do well in cities unless God is the builder. It's interesting, both the Torah, the first 5 books of the Bible, and Thomas Jefferson, both hated big cities. The American founders read this text and they designed a system of government to say we do not want all this power and cosmopolitan densely populated urban areas. That's right. In fact, the founding fathers were so biblically literate. If you read the federalist papers, Alexander Hamilton, federalist 47, federalist 51, federalist 58. They talked time and time again about the heated passions in cities where rancor, rumor and half truths, reigns supreme were the mobs and the masses are able to get what they want, but reason goes to die. God tried to warn us in genesis 11. Hey, if you guys build these cities, all of a sudden, you're not going to be governed by your reason, you're rationality or your logic, but it's going to be the tyranny of the clamoring majority. My goodness. You look at federalism, states rights. You look at this idea of the local church, all of that is saying we learn the lesson from genesis 11 and we're not going to try to build something central or something big or something strong and you see that it direct odds with the world economic form of what they're doing right now.

So What IS Politics?
"Is politics? Let's just put all of everything you think you know about politics. Let's put aside. It's very simple. Politics is human beings organizing to decide who gets power. That's it. Stop talking about Republicans or Democrats, all that stuff is just temporary manifestations of an eternal question of who gets power. Now in genesis 11, they say it explicitly. That's right. They say, and this is important first because it's called the Tower of Babel, but it really is more accurately the city of Babel. Yeah. And I want to zero in on that. The tower is important because they wanted to reach the heavens. And that kind of gets the headline, but the berry lead is that they wanted to build a centralized community as city for themselves. And they made a decision to deny and defy God. That's right. We're going to do this for ourselves. We're going to do something so great in the earthly and temporal realm that we don't need God. And that right there is a direct challenge to what was set up in the first ten books before that

We're kind of all in a text together of people that were tracking the legislative movement behind AB two two two three, otherwise known as the infanticide Bill. Walk us through what this bill actually contains no hyperbole or exaggeration because some people are blowing it out of proportion, not on our side. The other side, what does it actually say and where does it stand in legislative process? Sure, well, where it stands is it passed its second committee yesterday, which is horrifying. It's one of the worst bills that's ever been introduced here, which is really saying a lot, considering the sort of bills that get introduced in past in California. And the idea is, you know, Gavin Newsom has proclaimed California and abortion sanctuary state. He wants this to be the state where people from other states can come to to have abortions and this bill two two two three purportedly creates a kind of liability shield for acts that would violate the laws of other state and some places of limits on what sorts of things can be investigated. And so all of that is bad enough in its own right, but there is this term in the Bill perinatal, which by, you know, there was a practicing o-b-gyn at the hearing yesterday who said that that can encompass up to about a month after birth. And so it creates sort of a liability shield for an infant death that is post birth and what's more, it actually would give individuals the ability to sue prosecutors who wanted to come in and bring charges of these cases. "Let me ask you just, you know, we haven't really done a lot of the play by play of what's happening in Ukraine on this program because it's changing so quickly and there's so much misinformation and disinformation. What does it look like right now? It looks like the eastern part of Ukraine has been captured by Russian forces. We've been hearing about the fall of Kyiv now for a couple of weeks. What is Putin's endgame here? There is a theory that there might be a peace deal brokered, maybe an east and west Ukraine basically created or Russia basically absorbs the eastern part of Ukraine. What do you think is a realistic off ramp here? Or are we going to see potentially a multi month or multiyear conflict in Ukraine? Well, look, you know, there's been a lot of talk about this. You know, as you stated that on the ground it isn't constantly changing situation look strategically speaking in terms of eastern Ukraine, Russia does now and Russian forces have occupied pretty much all of the strategic locations in eastern Ukraine. The city of her son, the areas around Donetsk and lugansk, obviously up north from Crimea. And then there is that port city of Mario poll where he had this ads off battalion and Ukrainian forces that are maintaining the city, but it has been completely encircled by Russian forces and some news that we're going to be breaking later today. Is that it looks like the Russian forces are actually trying to bisect the city, cut it in half by pushing through to create a corridor, which they claim they want to get civilians out, but I'm sure they're also going to be sending their own military forces in. Now when it comes to Kyiv, again, they're building around their encirclement of the city. If you go read World War II history, you read your read your Russian military battles, Russia's greatest and most glorious moment in combat that they referred to is the Battle of Berlin under Marshall zhukov and what did they do with that? It was 2.5 million men surrounded the city of Berlin 6000 tanks, the tanks were sent in first as battering rams to soften up the defenses to smash their way through and then the troops poured in. That's the exact type same type of strategy that you were seeing now being used or attempted to be set up around Kyiv. Now obviously on a much smaller scale and also they're trying to do this in a way. They don't want to completely destroy the city because again, they keep claiming that they're liberating the city, right? It's the sort of back and forth. So I think what you're really seeing though is they've got the on the ground stuff in the east when it comes to Kyiv. That's not necessarily a military objective for them, but what it is is a political objective. They want to see a point where they want to bring the regime to the point where not maybe not so much that it will completely collapse, but come to the point where they do have to come to a negotiation deal and negotiation deal with
