"The Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty, Dan Bongino, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro. This is the Bay Area's home for conservative talk on your radio and smart speaker 5 60 KSFO. Right from the Abraham Lincoln Radio Studio, George Washington broadcast center Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty, Armstrong and Getty Show. We show the agony the uncertainty, vice president Pence had. There's this one scene in the book. It still stays with me in our reporting. He's with President Trump on January five hours before the insurrection, and President Trump has this temptation of power. Wouldn't it be cool, he says to vice president Pence to have the power to decertify an election. So that's Robert Costa, who wrote the book, along with Bob Woodward called the Peril and they are doing their first interview. Today with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America and clips will be coming out throughout the show. Um, uh, I feel like the whole Millie. Contacting China taking control of the nuclear weapons story has been Talked into a stalemate where Depends on who you believe. I mean, I don't know what you do at this point. If if the reporting in the book is accurate, something hinky happened. But if the pushback from the Pentagon has happened is accurate, then things were fine. So I don't know you're supposed to do at this point. Yeah, again. As I've made the point last week, he'd have to know the specific words used. You can't characterize those conversations sloppily and then Leap to conclusions about how angry you ought to be words matter. Specific Words matter so enough of that. York Times in our review on Saturday night, always read the book Review on Saturday night. And, um well, aren't you highfalutin? Uh, get my drink on watch football. Um, Their review is not super kind. They didn't seem to think the book was that interesting outside of the stuff that you've heard one, um scenario. That got my attention, though, was pence before January, 6th was reaching out to a lot of people saying Is there any wiggle room here? Is there anything I can do? Because he was pretty certain there wasn't anything he could do when he was getting a lot of pressure from Trump to, you know, to not certified the election, so he was going to everybody like It's being portrayed by some people as cowardice on his part, I think he was just a guy. Look, my boss has put me on a lot of pressure. Am I wrong Or am I wrong here that there's nothing I can do? And everybody was telling him exactly same thing. No, there's only one thing you can do. And so I don't know. I think he was just Diagnosing crossing tease. It sounds like to me. Yeah, I saw some of that cowardice stuff and I really I wasn't buying it. I mean, he was in an impossible position. He's you know, he's a very kind of milk toast, Conservative guy. And he's got a boss who Trump Trump's greatest strength was that he didn't give a crap. His greatest weakness was that he didn't give a crap because sometimes he should have given a crap about you know the institutions he was harming in the rest of it. I don't know. That's have Pence. Pence is going to retire. He's going to write a book Bible study. He's running for president. He's gonna run which which makes it all the more interesting. Um, Pence running Chris Christie running, so I know that they have a full head of steam or they're going to run against Trump. I don't know what that's going to look at It look like anyway, that's that's a while away. But the one interesting thing was so, uh, Pence's from Indiana, so he goes back to Indiana. The biggest political start from the olden days out of Indiana is former Vice President Dan Quayle and he goes in and he meets with Dan Quayle. And he says that Dan Quayle look Is there anything I can do? You're vice president. You know this whole thing Or is there any other way? And then? Danko said, What are you talking about? No, there's there's no wiggle room on this pen specifically asked. Is there any wiggle room? He said No. Zero wiggle room. There is no wiggle room on this. All you can do is go in and certify the elections of That's what he did that rock of gravitas and reliability. Dan Quayle came through right and Dan Quayle was, you know a joke for a lot of people back in the day, but it just shows you you were talking a little bit ago. Does it feel like everything's falling apart? That's where we are. Now you go to a guy like Dan Quayle and Dan Quayle is from the You know the before times. I don't know when. What when it changed, But the before times where none of this stuff was even considered. And he's saying no, That's not an option. There's no, of course not. It does feel like the societal come packed The social compact is crumbling. Just that the agreements we all had about Western civilization. Well, you have virtually all of academia, trying to check to Chuck rather Western civilization to get rid of this incredible miracle we have wrought of orderliness yet Liberty. You know of scientific development, feeding the hungry curing the sick. The residence is a miracle, and it's been rejected by half wit. Some college campuses. You know, he said, you ought to force them to live in the third world for for a year, man. I was just reading about Oh, my God. There's this giant refugee camp. They got like 62,000 people there and in the outskirts of Iraq slash Syria. And it's when when Isis fell, and a lot of the fighters got killed the old man in the women and the Children in particular had to go somewhere, but they're loyal Isis people, So they stuck him in this refugee camp. And you see pictures of it and all the gals are in the beekeeper outfit. The jet black, the slits for the eyes. That's all you can see. And evidently this, uh, this refugee camp has become this hellhole of murder. And intrigue where the hardcore Isis gals will will carry out. You know, they got the robes on. You can't see her face when we got a big old knife under there, and in the middle of the night, she get your throat slip and the guards don't know what to do. And then nobody knows what to do. These gals just say we want to go back home to Iraq or Syria, and then they get home. To Iraq or Syria, and all the people in town are like What are you doing here? You are hardcore Isis. You killed us. We hate you. We hate you and your granddad and we hate your little kid. We hate you and so That is The absence of Western civilization. And you think you and your college professor are going to get some sort of utopia going and it's not going to degenerate into that. Come on, wake up. Speaking of refugees, lots of people at the border, the Biden administration is going to send the Haitians back to Haiti. It looks like but anyway, we've got a reporter on the border. Later this hour. You know, I think it was political theories. Theorist Tom Petty, you pointed out. You don't have to live like a refugee. That's what he claimed. "Meal single item at regular price states. Jack Armstrong and joke getting here's Armstrong and get it. One. He took his kids to Disney world or, like just he is an adult went to Disney world. Okay, he took his kids. Okay, Four kids. Yeah, I was about to say something harsh about adults who go to Disney on their own. But then I remembered a relative's I'm thinking I get Disneyland and Disneyworld mixed up. So Disneyland is California. I've never been And so I'm thinking about taking my kids. One He changes took his kids to Disney world in Florida. Which is Ben Open. I think the whole time. Plus, you got the Epcot Center there and, uh, all sorts of crazy stuff. Yeah, beautiful Orlando. Let's greet Lonnie Chen David and Diane Steffi fellow in American Public policy studies at the Hoover Institution and the director of domestic policy Studies at Stanford University. Lonnie, How are you? I am wonderful. Thanks for having me this morning. I'm wondering how you wrote the rides. Did you have to crawl over the dead bodies from everybody that died during the covid pandemic since they were open in Florida, but not open in California. No, no, actually, what they did was you didn't have to wear a mask. Uh, you know you're just walking around outdoors. And when you're taking a ride, whether that ride is indoors or outdoors, he had to wear masks. Those were Disney rules. Those weren't one Florida rules. Uh, When you went outside Disney world, the situation in Florida was extremely different. I've told people It was a real study, in contrast, being in Florida versus obviously we live in California and and taking the kids there and taking the family there and having them see kind of how state has dealt with the situation very differently. Yeah, it was eye opening to my kids. We just drove to see Grandma and Grandpa's. We drove through Nevada and Arizona and Not walking in a convenience stores with no masks, and the reason for that is there's no covid around and everybody's vaccinated. That's the reason nobody is wearing masks that they just it was just eye opening them that that well, It was a lesson in policy that you know, a grown ups make decisions on things and different grownups make different decisions. And you know that will inform them going forward, I suppose. Yeah, No, that's that's definitely true. And I think the other the other piece of it is that you realize how important these decisions that states make are right. I mean, these are things that affect our everyday lives, and they've had a big impact on our economy. Certainly here in California, we've seen it. The different kinds of decisions affect people's livelihood. Things are very real decisions. They're not sometimes I think these politicians, you know, they think they're playing around. Do they think? Well, we've got power. This is fine. They don't realize there's some very real impact to the kinds of decisions they make, and not just the initial impact but second order effects and third order effects. I mean, if you look at Florida because they have enabled a tourism economy to continue at some level throughout the course, the pandemics Florida economy is in better health than the California economy. And and that's just the reality of the situation. Well, I think academics spend so much time in theory that sometimes they have trouble remembering because a lot of politicians are academics. They have trouble remembering all these. This is there's actual real people here. It's not just a you know, a piece of paper and numbers. But they don't always behave like you think they will, or should Now, speaking of people behaving oddly, Ellen, he what do you make of the crowd that is still a masking individually outdoors in large numbers in the progressive parts of America? What's your conclusion? What's going on here? Well, I think it's the combination of two things. I think one is the sort of overhang from just how polarized we are, and unfortunately, some of these public health questions got deeply polarized during the height of the pandemic. You know, and it became more than about what we were learning from the science What we learned in terms of what was best to keep people safe. It sort of went from that to virtue, signaling and you know, which is not to say that all of this is virtue, signaling, but I think some of it is quite frankly, I think some of it is getting people to behave in a certain well, It's not signalling you understand the science. I guarantee you that because you're not that's that's one thing you're not signaling. Well, and I, And I think that's a great example right because even the CDC has revised its guidance with respect to if you're outdoors, and you're engaged in activity outdoors. What kind of masking is required? You know, and those rules changed officially. And of course, those rules. I think changed a little bit later than they should have. I think we've known About outdoor transmission and issues involving after transmission for some time now and and even then, you still see a bunch of people who decide you know they're they're going to mask now. In some cases, I want to say In some cases, I think it is a personal choice. In some cases, though, it does strike me that people do it because they want to be seen doing it. And that is, unfortunately something that as I said, we've all become so polarized becomes such a politicized issue. I'll tell you the thing that bugs me though, guys really fundamentally, which is From the beginning of this thing we've been told by public health authorities to follow the science. But repeatedly those public health authorities have been the ones issuing hypocritical statements right. You shouldn't gathering crowds, but okay together in crowds as long as for the right reason you have the map, but you don't have to mask if you're getting together with the right kind of people. That kind of guidance drives people nuts, and that I think, unfortunately, really does eat away at our at our trust in governmental institutions talking with Lanhee Chen, So we've been talking a couple of things that were in the news that well every day. There's something in the news about critical race theory, but we're playing some Abram candy and talking about the anti racism book and that sort of stuff. Critical race theory. How big an issue is this for Republicans? Are they going to try to use it and, uh, in the 22 election, And do you think it's a good idea to use it? Well, I think it's definitely an issue. I think it speaks to the broader issue or broader problem that I think many Americans are experiencing, which is whether they're Republicans or Democrats or whatever. I think there's a lot of Americans who were sick of being told what to do and what to think. And in some ways the discussion in the battle over critical race theory and, you know actually comes from critical legal theory, which was a thing when I was in law school and was really in the ascendance during a period of time, you know, in the 19 nineties and early two thousands This whole notion that we have to see the world through a racialized lens. I think a lot of Americans look at that. And they say, you know what? That's not how I see the world. I see the world as let's create opportunity for everybody, regardless of race. Let's let's figure out a way to to try to live up to the ideals on which the country was founded. And so as a result, I think this pushing of critical race theory onto people. We're starting to see a little bit of resistance, not just from conservatives mind you, but from people who are who are in the center who are saying Listen, I don't I don't want to be told what it is. I need to think because I've spent my whole life developing my own thoughts and my own impressions. My own feelings on these things. So I think that's the resistance point. Guys. I don't think it's going to be the specific issue of critical race theory..

"A united front against his illegal scourge of Gun violence. One Chicago Alderman calls her statements Political because legal guns are rarely part of the street violence in Chicago. Yeah, so they have some of the strictest gun laws in America in Chicago. Um, and have people getting shot, then a left and right compared to like, for instance, Wyoming, which has some of the loosest restrictions in the entire country, and nobody shooting anybody, So come on. What's your explanation for that? And answer and it's well, that the, uh as was pointed out there. Most of the shootings are with legal guns anyway. What do you mean, when politicians say that? Do they actually think they're going to solve the problem? Because I would think when you're mayor and people are dying, left and right and and you know your community. She's a black female black community shooting each other a lot. I would think she'd have an interest in actually solving that. Does she think that that's actually gonna help? Or I would think one of her aides would say, I, uh, it's actually illegal guns, So any gun laws aren't going to really put a dent in the shootings. That really would have nothing to do with it. That's such a great question. Does she actually believe that? Or is that just repeating democratic dogma? I don't know. So you know better than me because you know Chicago better than I do. Is it still the case where it is mostly? You know, in certain neighborhoods like I can avoid getting shot pretty easily in Chicago by not going to certain neighborhoods. Yeah, primarily, although a lot of innocent bystanders are getting shot there in those neighborhoods, obviously, but to be able to be in any neighborhood is an innocent bystander not get shot, right? Yeah, and often it's just people driving. You know, down one of the main surface streets in that hood to get where they're going. They get hit by stray bullets and the rest of it. But getting back to the moving statistics. I just could. I wanted to get that on at some point today, Um, In addition to New Yorkers, dwellers of three states, in particular New Jersey, Maryland and California are fleeing to southern and Southeastern states. Residents of Pennsylvania, Michigan also fleeing, but that's a continuation of a trend from previous years. They're almost always in the top 10 for outbound moves. Illinois remains in the top 10 for outbound moves, uh, blah, blah blah. Meanwhile, the most popular destinations for movers are Idaho and Idahoans are well aware of that and being driven crazy by it. Arizona, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida Chaos and Colorado Last year, Tennessee surpassed South Carolina according to the 29th so And the most popular city to move to his Phoenix, followed by Houston, Dallas Atlanta in Denver. I know people going to all those places. Uh, yeah. Me. Too. Good friend of mine is is so excited about moving to Tennessee can't stand it. "George Washington Broadcast center Jack Armstrong Joke Eddie Armstrong and Getty Show. So I got the second dose of the visor yesterday. I don't feel great. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Do not slander team improviser administrators to now, But I'm not sure I have been able to tell you that earlier this morning when my hands were shaking so bad, I couldn't pour my coffee. I don't know what you call that the shakes chills something like that. I feel like I've got a really bad hangover, which I've worked with a bad hangover about 1000 times. So No biggie. Oh, and I had another one of those. I'm too old to make jokes, moments. I've just got to realize this for younger people. Was it Theo like person? A person with a younger person? I just walked out in the newsroom and I said this somebody, man, I got my second shot yesterday and I feel rough And she said, Well, why are you here? I said why am I here? Because I care about this company. Boy. I'm gonna tell the boss what you said, and she looked at me like, Oh my God. Funny. It's funny if I'm 45, but apparently, it's not funny. At this age. She just looked at me like he's a crazy old person. He's going to tell the boss and now I'm in trouble. Oh, can't you don't get to make jokes to young people past a certain age, I've realized that you're an authority figure, I guess or something. She's worried that I'm not, sir. Dementia or freedom. Gonna get lost. Young people do not get jokes. I'm telling you, I think young people get jokes if you're also kind of young. But yes, a certain age like Joe said. You're just in authority figure Authority figures don't joke around especially things like that. And, uh, it's just weird and off Putting. Are you serious or not? They can't tell when I was younger. I made exactly the same sorts of jokes and people would all throw their heads back. Mouths open teeth showing, but those days are over. Apparently. Yeah, you know, speaking, getting older, I'm just I'm sitting here rubbing. My four on my wrist is killing me and my doctor. He prescribes this topical cream. That's really good for the condition I have, and it's great. It's a leap forward because it's not a powerful drug that ruins your liver. And I was all excited about it. But then I started reading the instructions and it says, Do not expose that area to sunlight and you know it's my wrist and do not use sunscreen. And do not use bug spray. Do not put any product on that area other than this truck, and so I did. What am I supposed to do? Go down to the fundamentalist store and get a burger or something like that? But I can't. This is not practical. You know if it was my hind end or something, I could see it. But Lovely mine at this fine. You carry a hide your wrist it that you know. It's pretty temperate where we live most of the year. But the summer is like Shawn's air fryer. And so you know, gonna be outdoors and uncovered anyway boob. S so interesting Couple of school notes, T talk about first of all, Are you talking about this headline from TMZ Pro Ball for hits Long drives into speeding, car epic, shirtless celebration. Maybe we'll have to do that story later. There's a lot there. There is a lot there. Wow, I hadn't anticipated people. Shirt's coming off s. Oh, there is a course there is a case headed for the Supreme Court. A major First Amendment free speech case having to do with the nation's 50 million public school students. Have you heard about this? The pissed off cheerleader case. Oh, yeah. Yeah, this this little gal, she was told. Now you're back on the junior varsity squad. It's a good It's a good question, too. I'm glad the Supreme Court. Lewis is looking at it. Yeah, I do, too, and I have a pretty strong feeling which way it's going to go. But you know, I do. But the facts are essentially Ah, this is this little girl. She's got spirit. Yes, she does. That's one of the fax. Oh, yeah, Absolutely. So this little gal got booted off the air, not promoted to diversity cheerleading team promoted, not promoted, promoted on and and she went online and and blasted away, saying Where is it? Essentially f f cheerleading f school f the golden bears her the mascot and blah, blah, blah. I'm so mad Bob. Well, one person took a screenshot showed it to another who happen to be the daughter. One of the cheerleading coaches went up the chain to the assistant principal, then the principal. It was hell for a while. Now that you've got sure leading Mom's involved, things could get ugly. Things start ugly. When cheerleading moms are involved, they start very pretty, but very ugly. The coaches said that the young lady's snap and Snapchat violated the team rules she had agreed to, including showing respect, avoiding foul language, inappropriate gestures. Blah, blah. Blah on by the parents appealed to the athletic director of the principal, the superintendent school board, saying it was off campus. It was not directed to the school in anyway, It was just a girl expressing yourself to her friends, and it was pure speech. There was no Actions advocated. There were no actions taken. It was just a teenager's temper tantrum. And she's had you know this is punished in various ways. And so the Supreme Court's going to take a look at it, and you think that'll rule what I think they'll say she's allowed to get pissed off and say things she later regrets. She's a child. I think so, too. And I understand why they have to say that, but it does make things kind of unworkable. I mean, so if if everybody catches on that you can just blast any teacher. Anything about your school Anything. On your You know on your social media that everybody's looking at at at some point did end up with, you know, it's like those things where a kid wears a American flag shirt to school, and the teacher says, you got to take it off, and then there becomes a big push and pull over. Free speech and rights and all that sort of stuff in the school's argument is Look, It's just it's disrupting the classroom. We can't teach because everybody's all worked up about this. You know, I understand your point of free speech everything but we can't teach because of this, And I wonder if you end up with that in some schools. Words. Look, it's just all the kids are doing is saying mean things which are on Facebook and the teachers and saying that all these things and It's the only thing anybody talks about. That is not a non issue. I've been privileged to be friends with some really terrific educators through the years and the whole keeping order in school thing is getting hard and so I do have sympathy for them. But the problem is If, if the If the standard is if it causes uproar and distraction, it can't be done that empowers the heckler's veto. Sure, if I say so. Legal argument? Sure. Well, yeah, I had a feeling you did. But if if I say something perfectly reasonable, for instance, and the Wolf crowd starts screaming, it's racist. Even though it's not racist, and that causes you know, divisions and in anger and fistfights, or God knows what else in school then the school can sanction me for having said something perfectly reasonable. And that zoo not good. Better. The animated contest of freedom. And something other servitude. But so now the story of Jesse the Star quarterback can tweet out knowing that everybody's going to see it because you know how Clicky High school is sure, um, start her back and say the coach sucks. We would have wanted me to put me in in the fourth quarter. He just sucks, and the whole team is seeing it and talking about it. Respondent the coach, you know the way you would, because the cool popular guy said the coach sucks out loud. Just I okay. Reality of it is gonna be ugly. I'm asking you for your opinion here. Um, she agree. The coach sucks. Man. Did I have some sucky coach? If he could put me into the fourth? I could throw a football over that mountain. All right, Uncle Rico settled down. Um, so she said, love how me and another girl got told. We need a year of J V before make varsity varsity, but that doesn't matter. Uh, Middle finger F school after relating Brahma Bull. She did not call out anybody by name or slander them. Does that matter? Surely How could you? How could you say you're not allowed to say the coach sucks. You. You could absolutely boot them off the team for saying that. I think you can't have open insubordination of coaches on a sports team. We're just it wouldn't hold together. It's not open insubordination. It's over in the world of free speech. Didn't say it in there. No idea of the locker room. I think your e think you're missing the distinction that I'm trying to throw out there. You know, I didn't make the varsity baseball team. I hate baseball. I hate Westmont High School where I happen to go. Um I I hate life. I just wanted to cry. Is different than saying..

After that, Any time you walk past the jukebox has just started playing. Come on. That's some good stuff. Wow. Wow, way have elected Abe's Simpson president is funny if he could keep that quality up over the next four years, that'll be fantastic. That's good for Joe's convinced that Biden won't last that long. But Nope, two years old man, So The New York Times is reporting this Axios breaking the story. Caitlyn Jenner of Kardashian fame or the 1976 Olympics If you're watching then when it was Bruce Jenner is going to announce today that she is running for governor of California. You only get to run for governor of California. If 50% plus one of the voters decide to recall Gavin Newsom in the election, which isn't probably gonna be till the full But if that happened, Caitlyn Jenner is in the mix. So, Larry, go Don't know. Have any idea what that's big deal? I don't know if she's gonna be on, you know, meet the press this Sunday or anything like that. Hawk. Whatever it's just I appreciate the effort to recall that idiot lunkhead. Yeah. Early dinner that matters. We all fall short. Sometimes we're all human. We all fall short. Sometimes you wanna freakin daily basis, You're utterly incompetent, So I'm glad to see you. He's being called out. But I doubt it gets recalled because California's of voters have no idea what's going on. And if he does a transgender, former Olympian really So I'm looking up it to Good Morning America and they've got the NIH director on asking, Should we stop wearing masks outside? The science is in after a year of the pandemic showing it's really hard to catch the virus outside. If you're if you're more than six ft. From someone in your outdoors, it's damn near impossible. To catch it outside. So where we still were your briefly within six. Ft. It's you're not gonna catch it. And in particular, why are we making little kids wear masks all the time for all kinds of different scientific reading is where did this woman speak? Do you know that, Shawn? I don't happen to know where she was She in Atlanta Somewhere. She looks like she's standing up in front of a City council or assembly of some sort. It goes on for a couple of minutes, but we'll just play a little bit of it for you. Every month. I come here and I hear the same thing. Social emotional health, if you truly mean that you would end the mask requirement tonight. Tonight. This is not march 2020 anymore. We have three vaccines every adult in state of Georgia that once that vaccine is eligible to get it right now in every one of us knows that young Children are not affected by this virus. They're not. And that's a blessing. But as the adults what have we done with that blessing? We've shoved it to the side, and we said we don't care. You're still gonna wear a mask on your face. Every day, five and six year olds. You still can't play together on the playground like normal Children seven and eight year olds. We don't care. We're still going to force you to carry a burden. That was never yours to carry. Shame on us. My six year old looks at me every month before I come here, she says. You're going to tell them tonight. Tell them I don't want to wear this anymore and I say, Baby, it's not time to fight that battle yet. I tried to explain that there's so many things. It's April 15th 2021. It's time to take these masks off of my child, so I came across as brilliant. And Jonah Goldberg's Twitter feed, and he said, You can disagree with her arguments. I don't but I wish some of the folks pushing mask a maximal minimalism. People who have the maximum view of mask would watch this just understand that most of the people they disagree with on this stuff aren't caricatures or crazies. There's some legit Arguments from some people out there why they don't want to wear masks. It's not just Ah, virtue, signaling or, you know, I'm with trump or whatever. In the end a lot of cases but got little kids not allowed to play with each other at recess. That's freaking cruelty. That's neglect. It's abuse. It's child abuse. I think we're going to see more of this May as we unwind the pandemic. I think we're going to Seymour of the how the politics how your view of the world effects this because I'm I'm seeing it now, more starkly than I've seen before. I live near one town. I lived near another town. 11 leans way right. One leans way left and the way they're handling the unwinding of this with the in the same county with the same covert numbers completely different and different. People can argue over which ones right which one's wrong, But the fact remains, it's completely different view of Masks schools. People getting together, etcetera. All right, right one's wide open. The others is locked down, which is just insane. It's literally a five minute drive isn't 56 minutes. Not very far. And so, you know, I suppose this is happening all over the country. Yeah, I just interesting. That attitude has that much at you know, your point of view has that much did with it, you know? I think there's probably there's something bigger going on. And it has to do with, you know the evolving of the American people from a bold, adventurous and confident people to a rule following bureaucrat fearing You know what, Just we're gonna do what's safe until we're 100% Sure, it's 100% safe. I don't think anybody should do anything unless the government tells them they can. It's just it's I think we're seeing that change of the American spirit. Writ large through on doing covert regulations. Just everybody wants to cling to them until it's proved 100% safe. Even Even if it's 100% unsafe and unhealthy for the kids. They just wanted to be safe for them. The decision maker that they could never be questioned. They're told that they made the wrong decision. They don't care about the kids because they won't be blamed for the kids and that's school boards, and that includes parents. By the way, it has nothing to do with the selfish interest. Well, it is selfish interest, but it is like a weird brand of it, because all they care about is being right about Cove. It It's just and and and safe about, Cove. It God, that poor woman, those poor Children. I didn't realize they're keeping the little kids from playing with each other. That's seriously child abuse. Daniel at my son's out of the school where they're doing it. Another question about Caitlyn Jenner, who's now know what? The schools in the public schools in the town where you live. They probably are doing that or close to it. The Oh my God. Did you just try to bring up Caitlyn Jenner again? Yes. This is this is one of those rare moments in the history of the Armstrong and Getty Show. We got 100% interest on one side and zero on the other, depending on the answer to this, I may never bring your her up again, okay? Just because I don't have a sense of this. So y'all are telling me she doesn't have a shot in terms of actually winning. Okay, I'll take your word for it. Is she the sort of person that the media like Is she going to get outsized? Um, interest because of who she is. Will she be on meet the press or face the nation or something like that, even if she's polling at 5% Because she's Caitlyn Jenner. I don't have any because she's a conservative, okay, I actually disagree with you on that. I think she will get Mork coverage than her candidacy deserves how much more I don't know, but I also believe that because she from the people that she's been talking to there they are aware of modern media strategy..

"George Washington Broadcast center Jack Armstrong joke Eddie Armstrong and Getty Show. I'm reading, providing infrastructure proposal and I'm trying to be fair, but one thing that stands out You did propose $100 billion for clean drinking water 100 billion for the electrical grid. 100 billion of high speed broadband. 100 billion workforce development. I mean, that is remarkable. What are the odds that in each of these categories? The number we need. The investment we need would be identical and then in each category that would be a nice round number like $100 billion. That's Wisconsin. Rep. Mike Gallagher, making the obvious point that if it's 100 billion, if they're all 100 million, obviously, you're just picking a number out of thin air. I have a new favorite congressman that is great and obvious, but hadn't anybody else said That's terrific. I want to ask about that with our guests. But I got another question. First time very hot to trot about excellence. Our guests the most wonderful Lanhee Chen. Sounds like I want to date him. It's respect, professional respect a lot. He is the David and Diane Steffy fellow in American Public policy studies at the Hoover Institution. Director of domestic policy studies at Stanford University long he how are you, sir? I am doing well this morning. Are you guys like you actually have Dodgers fan on your twitter like handily? That's how that's how you and I saw on the cover of one of your baseball magazines that the Dodgers might be the best team in the history of baseball. I mean, how much hyperbole was yesterday? They didn't do yesterday. Okay? Got it looked awful. Now. Whatever happens, I got 161 left to right the ship, so I gotta burn my saddle, and it's literally true wrote a burrow to work. But there's this story has gotten me very Very angry, and I feel like we've crossed yet another line. So this whole George of voting Rules thing. President Biden got four Pinocchios from the Washington Post, among others. They could have given out for his various whoppers about this makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle. There. You cutting off voting at five complete lie. Nobody is allowed to have a drink of water complete lie all these kind of things is this Joe Biden know what he's doing? Way crossed some sort of line now where Politicians have figured out look, there's too many news sources. Most people are only getting their news from our side. We no longer need to even attempt to be truthful. What is going on here is a policy guy explained it to me. Well, it's a great question, and it speaks to how politicized we are that we look at something like this, that we should be able to sort of sit down and say OK, one of the elements of this On. What does it do and have a reasonable discussion about that. That's not what we're looking at infecting this morning. I was just looking at descriptions of the law and what it would actually do and looking at one outlet that is considered to be more conservative. And then looking at another outlet that's considered to be more liberal. I thought they were talking about two different pieces of legislation. I mean, it's remarkable how differently Journalist Suppose it journalists can describe and shade and right based on what their political views are, and you know, it's even worse than politicians to pick up on it. I mean this notion, for example, that the At the Georgia law. You mentioned a drink of water. If they you know, they say, Oh, God, she can't you know you can't even give someone a drink of water. That's actually not true. The law specifically says that you could make self service water receptacles available to voters waiting in line. What you can do is give money, gifts, food or drinks to voters within 150 plate feet of a polling place for 25 ft. Of voters that are waiting to vote in light in life, which, you know, I mean, that kind of makes sense, right? We have electioneering. Anti election laws in California to every state has so we just gotta be a little careful about how torqued we get. Unfortunately, got politicians don't help with that. Do you think this is a moment we're passing through in terms of the relationship of the people, the media and the government, Or is it just going to keep going in this way in this same direction? I realize you don't have a crystal ball, but Um, you know, I think it's going to continue to get worse before it gets better. Unfortunately, because politicians the incentives they have, in many cases are to appeal to two extremes or to appeal to the sort of very hard edged critiques. And we're in an era now where there's a benefit for politicians to double down on on stuff. Even if they're wrong, they double down right and we've seen this over and over and over again after what the situation is right or left. People are wrong. They just kind of double down and say No, I'm not wrong. Here on that back and forth is that's what results in the kind of caustic, difficult environment we have. How would you not be cynical? I mean, I don't want to beat this into the ground, but Jen Psaki was asked about it yesterday. So The Washington Post gave President Biden four Pinocchios If you don't know what that means. That means it's a 100% complete lie. When Joe Biden said they're shut, not voting at five o'clock, you get off work you can. It's just not true. So they asked Jen Psaki about it yesterday said, Are you gonna back off that or double down? She said. We're not backing off anything. What? Wow Wow. You know what I want here? We're getting into the weeds of philosophy here a little bit, But I think conservatism is handicapped by the fact that we want to conserve what is good and what has worked in the past. And that is not served by outright lying outright slander, whereas the revolutionary left they They believe that there are ordained by God or Karl Marx or somebody or to do whatever is necessary. Maybe Ebro mix candy has given them their their, You know their asses anointed them. On DSA. Oh, they are willing to slit throats as it were. And often the guy who fights dirty winds that troubles me is a conservative. He raised really the point, which is even if you think about the word that many liberals used to describe themselves now, which is progressive. You know, sort of hidden, not even hidden. I mean in that word directly is the word progress And the implication, of course, is that there's some who wants progress and said, We don't want to progress. In fact, I think that contrast is is obviously ice magic. It's false. But I do think that there is something about even how we talk about the two sides that's become somewhat loaded in our society. Look, I think Conservatives that the challenge that conservatives have in my view is that too often, they haven't been willing to stand up and say this is what we actually stand for. And what troubles me is too often it here's what we stand against. And I think it's important that conservatives are willing and able to articulate like hey, what is it that you actually want to do and look to stand by it? And not everything is gonna be popular. Certainly We know how a lot of the Mainstream media will respond to it. But by and large, I think you're going to get farther along. If you actually stayed affirmatively. There's the things we want to do, rather than just standing there and saying what? We don't like that we don't like that. So that is one thing I wish conservatives. As a whole would do better. Progressives are ashamed of saying they want to have a government takeover of health care or completely. You know, with the case of the infrastructure, bill, you guys were talking about essentially completely. Push out private sector involvement with a large amount of public sector spending. They have no hesitation, arguing. That's what they wanted you So I do think having a point of view and being able to save affirmatively and strongly is good here. We do need to talk about that big infrastructure using my finger quotes here. Is that going to pass? Do you think Well, you know, look, they're going to do the same thing at the end of the day that they did with that huge $2 trillion spending package we've already passed, which is they have one more bite of the Apple using a process called reconciliation, which is Democrats only so they wanted Go in that direction they could again later this year. Not everything that's been proposed by the president will make it into the final package. But they do have the opportunity to do it if they want and what's so interesting is You can't. You can't call this an infrastructure package right? Because it's got so much more stuff in it. But every right up I see refers to it still as an infrastructure package is spending package. That's what it is. It's just like everybody referred to the covert relief bill is the covert relief bill. Even that was really including Fox News was just made me crazy. You, uh Ever meet any of Matt gets his girlfriends..

"Center Jack Armstrong joke Eddie Armstrong and Getty Show. I'm on a couple lists now to try to get the vaccine because that's the way you do it. It is just so not a process that makes any sense. If you want to get the vaccine, you just call us many pharmacies as you can and get on into many lists, as you can that that's the way you do it. Great plan, great sis. And it's just ridiculous. But anyway, I saw this story that the the Oakland Zoo is starting to vaccinate their most at risk animals. So the monkeys they're going to get their vaccine. My Highness before I do. Wow. Wow. How does that make you feel? It's terrible. We have We have go to the Oakland Zoo. Our own personal goats. Wow. Well, they go on. Display them up. I think I'd have some special in Yank your goats. They don't come correct. Give you the shot. You just had that you sit there in a monkey cage and wait for your turn. I guess it's for inner city kids because, like for most rural kids like my kids and their friends He travel to go to the zoo and you see good. You're gonna be pretty disappointed. But, yeah, in urban child, and maybe you haven't seen a goat, so right, so, among other things, we ought to get to her. We have gotten too and we'll get to again. The CDC says once you get vaccinated, you're fine. We've got your tax burden by state. You've got the firefighters fighting 12,000 these. Let's see what else? Oh, how the Republican Party can get back on track. So much good stuff. When we got it. We must get to it. We've got to do the full Matt Gates thing is he tries to rope Tucker Carlson into his weird sex world. Somehow he's no way. Wait. Well, what do you Rachel Maddow? No. Now that was completely unfair. "Washington Broadcast center Jack Armstrong, Joe Getty, Armstrong and Getty Show. Hello. Sources say the Windsors were blindsided because they thought it worst. The interview would make them look out of touch because if there's one thing, a palace surrounded by iron spikes looked like before. It was in touch. Now remember not to make eye contact with lady whose face is on the coins. So last time we talked about inflation. That's how we're going to talk about so security who would tune into that? Not in a boring, um, coming up Jack. Russia has turned away from NASA and says it will work with China to build a base on the moon. Saw that. Why did that? Why are Russian China working together on a moon base? What's their plan? Attack us from the moon. It's time to preemptively blow up the moon to deny them that opportunity. I'm gonna call my lawyer, Donna, I'm gonna call my lawyer. I'm gonna blow up the moon Gonna He's going to call my lawyer. Right. Ghana is going through time. The moon who has the courage this is from market watch, explaining how soc here he was one of the worst performing funds in the world last year. And you're you have no choice but to pay into it. It's the law you have to. So they take some of your money and invested poorly. How do you like that plan? Yeah, and any time they talk about privatizing it and letting you invest your own money, That would be the Wild West. You're on your own and Mitt Romney's America. The headline in Market. Watch it Social Security. We're a private retirement fund. We'd sue. This is from Brett Erin's Roo. I return on investment. One of the worst performing pension funds in the world. Last year was yours. And you probably didn't know it. All that money you've poured into so security trust over the years has one less than 1% over 2020. That's right, while the S and P 500 was up 18% And even a simple index fund like the Vanguard Very conservative fund. It was up 16%. You're so security money earned 1% in the year 2020. Even Norway's fund their government fund for the way they do. Their Social Security was up 11% last year how we were up 1%. They're just buying bonds. The returns earned by so security is the scandal that keeps on going the previous year. The new region pension fund gained 20%. The balance index, 1 20, the S and P 31%. That's right. The SNP was up 31%. In 2019. Social Security up 2%. That was the greatest here in the history of stock markets. It's partly because of the nature of it. It's a It's not a year, putting money away. It's your paying into it so they can pay current retirees its debt ridden. It's heading toward disaster so far in 2021. The fund has returned less than the rate of inflation, so you're going backwards. Over the past 10 years. The returns of the Norwegian fund. I don't know why they decided to pick that one have outpaced so security more than 400%. Wow. Oh, my God, That's absolutely amazing. I, But but But but But I come to the scandal because Congress just spent $86 billion of our money, bailing out private sector pension funds on behalf of the Teamsters and other unions, while continuing to do absolutely nothing whatsoever to put Social Security on the stable financial footing. The current funding hole, and so security is $16.8 Trillion, according to the trustees of the fund. It goes through to about 80% of the entire U. S economic output or about $50,000 for every person in the country. That's right, so security what you pay in your whole life, and most people kind of have this foggy notion that it's going into a new account and they'll be there. When I get older, know they spend it and it's upside down almost $17 trillion. It's a shared outrage. It says. Here in this op ed piece in market watch few hyperbole there strong enough that we're all required by law to invest 12.4% of every dollar we earn into a pension fund that has run something like out of something out like a Marx Brothers movie. They take 6.2% from your side of the check and six point point 2% from the employers side of the check, which adds up to 12.4% of every dollar you earn by law goes into a fund that's getting 1% while any other fund is getting double digit returns. How do you like that? You know, I will never be in favor of political violence because it's almost always counterproductive and and goes in the wrong way and brings the wrong things. But I get people being so frustrated. They wanted to smash stuff off. I do understand that. Understanding something in justifying it are two completely different things by the way, Idiots. 242 Million Americans are forced by law to pin the retirement hopes on a system that is being knowingly left in the crisis by those in charge, or completely aware of this. Yeah. Meanwhile, again, they're bailing out private pensions. To appease the unions. If so, security were a trust fund or mutual fund. It would be wound down. If it were a private sector pension fund. There would be lawsuits everywhere. Oh, yeah, that the guy running it had been fired decades ago. Or GAL Woman. Give me an astute financial advisor as well, Jack. There's an explanation for this fiasco. Social Security is expressly forbidden by law from investing any of your dollars in any kind of assets that are recommended by every competent financial advisor on the planet. No sure trusted by every other pension fund. In other words, so security is ownership of stocks, 0% ownership of realer real estate 0% ownership of commodities 0% of self security and the only thing it can own U. S. Treasury bonds, imagining company pension fund investing all its money and that companies bonds and you get the picture of what Social Security is. Yeah, well, you know the sentence in there. They got me. You so riled up. I actually read about half of this last night, and I had to put it down, texting with the Craig, the Obama care lawyer about just how maddening this is. Apart in there, that really torch you off is so okay, So it's the law. The 12.4% of my money has to go into this. And you're handling like this and you're in charge? Yeah. Well, that's because it's not what it claims to be like you just said That's that stuff of revolution. Practically. Yeah. Yeah, I think it's interesting that the one asset they permit is buying up the debt they create in Congress. Device, and there wasn't the biggest effort in my lifetime was George Bush. He attempted to give people an option of investing it themselves. But all the pushback was we would have people. People who invest in lose and then they won't have any money and we'll have to bail them out. What are you talking about? You already spent all the money. It's $16 trillion upside down already. How you going to do worse than that? Mm boy. So if I got to keep that 12% ought to do the math. I could do it pretty easily if I got to keep that 12% and put it in the funds that I put it into in the last couple of years. How much more money would I have? Lifetime. Then what? I'm going to get out so security. Okay? Multiple would be so much money. Yeah, yeah. Most people don't know this, though most people are completely unaware of how social Security works or or any of the stuff that I just told you..

Donna George Bush Jack Armstrong $86 billion 2019 Congress 12.4% Brett Erin 2021 NASA 20% $16.8 Trillion Jack Mitt Romney 6.2% 12% 1% last year 16% $16 trillion

Wait a second I got I was just JFK. They gave me a nasal swab where you Is the way we do it here in China over quite all right. Beautiful. Turns out, Jack Neanderthals could speak just like modern humans. Everybody sends me Neanderthal related stories because I Joe Getty have among the highest percentages of Neanderthal DNA of any human on earth Percent Neanderthal, which is amazing, precisely correct. I mean, the 90th percentile. That's what I said. Homo saviors, but they've done studies. They found us some fairly well preserved in Neanderthals and took a look at their their ear holes. And and how they heared on. Do they figured out? Yeah, they could generate the same frequencies. This homo SAPIENs and they're thinking And this is the key finding. That explains to some extent the extensive interbreeding between my people and your people. Evidently, Neanderthal dudes could throw a little game in a way that the Homo SAPIEN girls could understand. Um and smarter By all modern accounts. Neanderthals had bigger brains, which might've been have been what did them in because the brain takes a tremendous amount of energy. And you have to take a lot of food in to keep a bigger brain going, and they think that I do weren't able to provide enough food to stay alive where the Homo SAPIENs Which I always have to remind myself is this is a singular If you if you don't have there's a Homo SAPIEN. There's a homeless a PNC have to Homo SAPIENs. Almost SAPIEN is what they each are open SAPIENs. They're both Homo SAPIENs. Each one. You're a homo SAPIENs. You are Joe a homo SAPIENs. I'm just one of may anyway, get out, Okay, but the Homo SAPIENs came along with a smaller brain, and that's one of the reasons we were able to survive because we didn't need as much food. Right? Not not just recent theory, and they may you know, change that theory. You know, five years from now, but smaller isn't necessarily dumber, though. No, I don't think so. I don't think so. But generally the size of brain has a lot to do things. Chickens got a tiny little brain, hardly anything. And I I was trying to teach a chicken math the other day and got nowhere. Um, tell me dinosaurs, tiny little brains. Yeah. Reptiles in general, Big brain on Mitt Romney, but he got knocked unconscious yesterday. Did you see the story? Yeah. Romney not completely out. Says he slipped and fell. I don't know He's in pretty known partier. Nobody Nobody said you know what? I'm gonna have the salted peanuts be damned. They want in the whole milk. He had the whole milk and some salted peanuts. Any. If he went down the stairs, J fell and a kick in the gut, not himself completely out more stitches than he can even count. He has no idea how many stitches even has on his eye all the way down past his lips. So like the whole side of his face. His eyes all black. Well, that's that's a brutal injury. Yeah, it will soon, Mitt. I took a fall, he said yesterday not to be unconscious, but I'm doing better. Uh, hey, was visiting his grandchildren when he slipped and fell, How it's always going to God He's he's older than you think, because he's incredibly Handsome man who takes good care of himself. I think he's like 70. Shawn's gonna have that momentarily too old to be falling down and knocking yourself out. 73 73. Yeah, definitely too old to be falling down and knocking yourself out. I look older than mitt. Now, when I'm a lot younger than that. Yeah, it's fine Lifestyle component there. Oh, yeah, Not sure We're gonna talk to my clients. Bottom of this hour. I'm really looking forward to it. I know if you saw the story on 60 minutes Sunday night. Ran attacked us hard in Iraq last year, and we kept it a secret for some reason and didn't really, really retaliate. So what's going on there? We'll talk to my clients about that. Um, so we mentioned they're gonna be using new baseballs. Baseball season's starting And everybody's, uh, training and they're using new baseballs this year because they think there are too many home runs. Mm. Fans like the home run, but the game has become just strikeouts in home runs. And they're not sure that's the best way to go for all the records. I was looking at the number of records that have been broken, and it's just ridiculous. It's practically a different game. Well, yeah, and the game is becomes kind of boring. I get the chicks dig the long ball, as they say, but Just you need guys running around more. You need the ball, You know, being a hit more often. It's you know, like you say, Strike out after strike after strike out Then once every other ending a guy you know, it's Ah, four Bagger. Then you go back to strikeouts. It's just boring. Yeah, well, so part of it was the ball was a little hotter, So they got a ball that's less hot, and it's gonna fly. I think it's not that much like 10 FT. Less is all That's all it takes. But that's all it takes. And the all the pictures say they can't even tell the difference. So there you go. I am always £7 now, but yeah, you get it home Gonna come. Just walls break your wrists, every contact There are now two pictures on the field one halfway to the plate because it's impossible. They eve the thing. 60 FT six inches. Um, So somebody tweet out this picture yesterday of Nancy Pelosi with Governor Cuomo at some on some stage somewhere, talking about sexual assault and women and how they all need to do something about it. Nancy and Governor Cuomo clapping and Getting a standing ovation from people so happy that they're taking on the problem with sexual harassment. Good morning. Hey, where'd you come up with a nice, spicy sausage way? Can we play clips? 36. Is the computer working yet? Nothing works today. It's very weird. Oh,.

If they'll do it to him, they'll do it to anybody Get the real story from Sean Hannity weeknights at nine on Talk radio 5 60 ksfo. Ben Shapiro says Biden and the media need a refresher course. Joe Biden suggested that President Trump will postpone the election. This is not how the Constitution of the United States began. Just pulling an election as president requires an act of Congress to change the electoral rules. And Joe Biden is an idiot who doesn't know anything about the Constitution and neither to members of the media because somebody should have asked him to follow up. Question. How Well, how is that possible, and the answer is it's not possible. But members of our media don't know very much about the Constitution, either..

"Raptor Wolf Do everything possible to have a great discussion with him and You know if everything works out in terms of term and flowers, I can't see why they wouldn't want you to write. I have full confidence that that will happen. You know, he's a guy that is a big, big part of what they do. And there's no question that you can run. A queen. In this way you could run a team that's a winning food. On looking. What he's doing right now for the raft is proving that and I love the guy Wichita State, Iran, Baker were phenomenal Collusion bar chord. And you know they were the number one team in the country. They were final 14 and you know, but he doesn't pass the beauty contest. He's a He's a little guy. And people look and say all he can do this. You can't do that You own the beach. You know, it's kind of like a younger version of high alone, and the guy is a tremendous defensive square. Onboard. The thunder, awful defender Quick, can't shot maker in terms of screen a role. Brains. I can use to screen and made shots to relocate off dribble penetration and get to an open spot and shoot it. And, you know, ask the Bucks The Warriors last year the playoffs. How impactful for good readers. What U B brown Courts of Black West, you Whole Homa. Or being he always got a pitch. Then it is the MVP of the finals. If you watch six games, as you know, cool, I was probably better against the sixties. And the box and wasn't a warrior. Siri's But President Lee Dong hwi impacted in on the offense again. He chased Steph Curry around for six games, and that ain't easy. Talking to Jack Armstrong right now, for a few more minutes we've known before. In the past, the Raptors have had a lot of great players. The question is keeping them and we have addressed that with some of the guys that we brought up like, then bleed and you got a Baka. Free agent at the end of the year. I'm just curious. Do you think Toronto with you, Jeary and also with Nick Nurse and what they've done these last two years? Can they start becoming a destination? Do you think they'll start to become Ah, place that players are going to want to say, Hey, I want to go play there. Why would you want to play? I mean, it's always been a sleeping giant. You know, it's it's the third largest market in professional sports between behind New York and L. A Clearly, the Knicks haven't gotten their acting whatsoever for years of short boss has done a nice shop. With the Nets, and we'll see how that sounds with Cady and Kyrie BR from cellophane, and we'll see how things develop in New York. But you know, the two L. A teams have done a good job. Chicago How much is the fourth largest market as really struggled over the years, So you know when you talk about big markets and every game being on national TV and winning You had five years in a row 50 plus wins. Players treated like gods there. Ah, you know, it's a It's a big time's up, and it's Ah, It's a place that once players get there, they realized like this is one of the best places in the MBA to play. People will say, Well, it's cold. It's not cold in Cleveland. It's not cold in Boston. It's not cold in Detroit. Give me a break. You know, so again, That's just a lot of leads a lot of people, but bottom line is when you look around the MBA. They've had the best record in the entire league in the last five, so Um this is a great market, and it's a market that in my opinion is tops in the league. And why guys like a guy. I wouldn't want to play there. You'd have to have his head examined. Wrapping up with Jack Armstrong. Are you concerned about the Lakers after one game? You know, it's interesting. Ah, what if Anthony Davis LeBron James makes a free total could make it for making too You know, they had to empty trips last night late in the game. Just get a point on the point per trip. It changes dynamics a little bit. So the question is this. I mean, I love the way they were the Western Conference finals last year. People, you know, sleep on that. Ah, you know, they have a great back and God play wins. You know, but Blaze is win that game last night with the Lakers as much of a loser. Ah, they got the ball that badly as a team again. I made that bad. A defensive team. No, I know. The lake is one of the best defensive teams with the embassies to get size. They got length. Now I'll say this. They know today. This a guy like Avery Bradley right now, and John Doe are guys that are hard nose in your face Perimeter defenders. Particularly in a series with a AH guy like game Baby Lily did. It's called, Gotta have hit all hands on deck in terms of that, so to me, I think the Lakers still have the better team. That's over the course of the long season. On the other hand, the secondary players on the Lakers right now they've got that they had the stage presence. And the ability to make plays because no one thing God I call Melo Anthony even always an extended point. His career still has that states were big socking his way last night late And he made it just like he did against Memphis over the weekend, you know? Ah, Gallic Nurkic is toughest nails and I thought white side help them last night. You know, Collins not able to play delights with protection to use blocks, Jack. The lock of the Bram is enormous. No, and you know in the Lakers play big. No, they got They got a lot of size, So if you could match them not only would size but athleticism and shop lock. He clings Mohr than Zach Collins does to me. He was so I think they might have found something a little good that they might have might have overlooked. But for this series this match up I think he could really be of benefit to them. So I think this thing could go the distance. I think Portland now has the confidence that I think they had it already, but they definitely know. And here's the most important thing. It's those guys in the gray shirts run around whistles in hands and thereabouts. They think, ah, that that can happen. It makes a big difference in terms of bang bang Coles. Cause I think reputation wise and confidence wise. I think the rake is better play in an incredibly high low level they will lose, but I do think they will play that high level. Jack Armstrong. I know the bucks. They're going to come back and take care of the magic, probably in five games. Maybe Orlando gets one more. I'd be surprised if they dio. Is there a concern level, though, for you with Milwaukee with the way that they've looked last few weeks Yeah. You know, I guess it's a little light in the place when you play them..

"Into that world through when I was sick and everything like that is I I've learned more about the sort of thing so I figured out what my hesitancy is on this topic okay good lord look at that thing stay tuned will explain explain this first the hazard that why have the hesitancy my first time I ever had a radio show was in college and I was doing the mornings in college and I I made a comment about the food in the cafeteria not being real meat all boys school for for whatever that reminds me it remind me the meat story yeah and for whatever reason people went eight down and and I I didn't I had because that's what the meat was if only you'd been around all the time Jack Armstrong calling morning show at about a better there were so many meetings and I actually had to talk to the dean I mean as a community college but actually had to talk to the guy in charge of the whole thing was given a lecturer and promised not to do it again I got pulled off the air for a while now because you challenge the quality of meat and I was just a joke anyway yeah how old were you at the time you eighteen probably or nine eighteen yeah yeah wow okay line until it is my first run in with any controversy of any kind in my entire life so I was just all my god I've clearly done something wrong yeah callously would have reacted that way now but that's why I'm hesitant to go with this story because I'm I'm still wounded still scarred from that experience all I went to get some water out of our little water machine I put my Cup under the thing I press the thing and a cockroach like beast crawled out of a little spring.

"The Armstrong and Getty show. I'm Jack Armstrong, and he's Joe gatty, and we do this little show weekday mornings, and what did we talk about? Whatever is the most important compelling interesting. Amusing thing in the world. Did you miss the meeting? That's what we talk about. Sometimes it's who's going to be president. Sometimes if the DVD Oscars sometimes it's what's going on in our lives. The Armstrong and Getty show different. Take on the news the events of the day every single weekday morning right here. Back here breadwinner will show miles himal- filling in for Brett we're talking about the seventy sixth assembly district. Phil Gramm was a candidate who ran during the primary election back all the way in June of last year. He finished why I don't want to give the punchline away, but he didn't make it to the primary, and we're talking about why in the accusations, and the way the media covered all this. I've got a crazy story coming up about where this story is taken. But I I want to go after Richard napkin Dido, Richard. What do you make of what I've said so far about how this is gone. Richard you that? Hello. Yeah. Hey, richard. Can you hear me? Yeah. Yeah. What do you make of what we were talking about with Phil Gramm? Well, very simply, and I think you got a great point to that. This is more about lying, and when somebody's lying publicly like this before we need to go after everybody in that room right now. No more waiting because there's too many liars. There's a spirit of Satan and lying among this country's leaders. And our will never say. And we need to dip it in the bud. Yeah. Let me give you an example. If you've been a democrat, or he he'd been whatever somebody had this guy was hurting people the way he hurt Flynn and others Gertie years ago with the same group of people that he's with now, it's like the gangsters and Adams thirty years ago, and nobody ever realized how incompetent they are. They are they're bad investigators. They covered things up and their destructive of families that has been enough to convict. I don't know. What is Richard? I remain around at the top of the list in Washington, not just among Democrats. But among Republicans to the swamp needs to try and get rid of a lot of these people right now. Hold on wall. Thank you. I appreciate the call, Richard. Thank you. It's very true. And I'm gonna get into that here right now is the ramifications of lying, and I go back to cavenaugh when folks talked about, well, how could this woman be making it up? I don't know what's going on as long as time's gone on July would random woman make these accusations up for a lot of reasons politically motivated being one of them. But. The always think about this. These are people whether it's molar whether it's Trump whether it's Phil Gramm in this instance, these are people that have families that have other ramifications. So when you hit them, you're attacking their family Cavanaugh is the greatest example, I can have this when they were going after cavern offers character for what he said for what he did. And he's got his two daughters and his wife standing there. I'm going guys. You're not just hurting people you're hurting the whole family, but they don't care. They don't care. So I was talking about how these mailers and these mail pieces and these phone calls went out accusing Phil Gramm even after law enforcement said this wasn't true. Even after. So here's another phone call that was made vote carefully on June fifth. Caller said we don't need anymore. Creeps in Sacramento. Don't vote for Phil Gramm, hashtag, just say, no. And these were Facebook ads being run by the Democrats. And by the unions by SEI, you again, all these accusations completely untrue. Completely were proven false. After that phone, call the disclaimer came because on political ads you have to put the paid for by Donald J Trump or whatever the disclaimer paid for by Jennifer Jones. But it turns out Jennifer Jones is in a real person. There may be at Jennifer Jones. That's not who was on the ad the call appeared to come from inside NADA. It was homey. Tell network which provides internet services.
