A Review Of The Long Walk, Chapters 9-18

"The long walk continues with only sixty. Walkers remaining geared is determined to make it to freeport or he'll see his mother and girlfriend jan more walkers get their tickets and the boys continue their discussions as physical and mental exhaustion weigh on them eventually. The long walk enters massachusetts and only three boys remain gary mic varieties and stebens. Only one will be the last walker standing but even so at what price victory. Nice day were in this section of the book and one of the things we talked about last episode is how we were a little disappointed that there wasn't a lot more world building going on yeah King seemed to be very vague as to what sort of relived these characters were in boys going on. We got the sense that things weren't great but not all of the details and in this one. There's a lot more of that world building we're looking for. Yeah it definitely satisfied my craving for those details. I still don't know that it was enough for my my modern sensibilities if you will I wanted to know what was going on. Outside of the walk and king still doesn't really reveal that but he gives us just a little bit more of a taste. Oh those are so delicious. Yeah each one of them is pretty great. The fact there's now thirty first day of april. Yeah that was the first one in this section. I was like whoa and you know. We talked about the dark tower. There were times early on. We're like boy. That's a weird little editing mistake. At first i thought well maybe april thirty. One is an editing mistake but then there were a couple more came shortly thereafter. That you're like. Oh kings doing something here. Yeah yeah there were fifty one states. When i saw that my immediate question was what is that fifty for state. I mean it could be anything is is it. Puerto rico is his canada. I don't know like it could be so many things it could be half of. Mexico is the fifty first state. It's not really important to the story. But it would be kinda cool to have one of those jr token style maps or like the the dark tower style maps that shows the world of the long walk and the path that they walk. Yep and then you can see like now. There's this you know. East pennsylvania and west pennsylvania. Yeah you're not even thinking big enough jay. Maybe like the western eight states all disappeared or were destroyed and so then they picked up nine states that we don't have today and not not just one new one. What do you think of that. Yeah or maybe california finally broke into five pieces. Resold alaska back to the russians for for a net total of one game state. Yeah and cut off. Florida like bugs. Bunny does in that. Famous jif yup. Yeah there were other interesting facts. That that Apparently there were german air raids on the east coast of the united states. And there's clearly has been some kind of takeover. The major seems to be the figurehead leader or commander of this Of the united states. So i'm guessing some sort of military coup but somebody says in the old days before the change and the squads when they were still millionaires like basically went before before a lot of wealth was redistributed to who knows who knows in what way but clearly this is not the world that king lived through when he was writing this story. Right the most intriguing one was this idea that world war two was different in how it played out so there's talks about german raids on the east coast. That occurred that people were afraid of and then later on they talk about the provo governor who is a war hero. He led a raid on a german nuclear base in santiago in nineteen fifty three. So yeah this is definitely not the world that is just hey our world bit in the future. This is a total man in the high castle. Style alternate reality or maybe even a father callahan like slipping through alternate versions of of the universe or of the of the world making this whole story. Kind of dark tower finney.

Pokemon community divided over Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl’s graphics

"Pok mon everywhere. It's focus on the first. One is the pokemon legends. Look at all. This is legend arkadiusz. Our our kids. Yes and it's an open world. Rpg that we've been driver out for as. Tom said ten years fifteen years easy ever since the game cube came out. I would say like pokemon stadium. i think. Yeah that's what. I'm saying like the first three games came out and that wasn't like immediately after red blue. Yeah we five years. It's only been twenty five years guys. Yeah that's only been twenty four years. It's it's a free cau- to every single pokemon game that's ever happened in the snow and the snow snow area. You're getting these steam punk wooden proto balls. They're called to catch pokemon and you're literally out there in the grass sneaking up on pok mon two toss and catch. That'll be fine and then the one. I'm very excited for as well as we're getting a remake of diamond and pearl called brilliant diamond and shining shiny shiny. Is it shining shining pearl. Thank you which. I was in the digital green room talking about how. That's probably i mean. Obviously red and blue pave the way. But man i spent i think i sold my parole game somewhere. There's like four hundred five hundred plus hours on that on a little game. So i'm going to be getting that day one. I'm a pearl guy all day. I love me that pollock but it looks really cool. I want to add one. Quick thing about pok mon arcus and i made it apparent on social media all mad that jif is pronounced jeff. I'm still mad. That arche is is arthritis. I can see. That's it's but. I will say that game. I think is going to live and die by. It's how well you move in the area the poco on catch ability and the battle system. If one of those things are not good. Well it looks like it's still turn based battles which is fine but and like if it doesn't look great it's going to be really boring and stale. Yeah and showed a showed in the video showed a pokemon using what looked like tackle. They're actually hitting each other now. Which is like we haven't well. Yeah that's what. i'm saying. The battle animation. If the battle is just gonna be really boring. That's that's what a lot of hardcore poem on like fans get upset with the newer games because the battle emmissions. Don't get better when you have games like pauken tournament. And you're like you do this you can do it. Yeah excited for those coming to the switch Signed me up for both but man pearl my heart. Strings were plucked. When i saw that. I zoom in on the old they zoom in on the original and then it starts up with that like loading. Obviously i've seen that screen for five hundred hours and it was just like it's

Repurposed Content Can Increase Your Traffic 300%

"This is John Jansen. My guest today is Shayna wide singer. She is the founder and CEO of business called re. Purpose House. So Shayna thanks for joining me. Hey, thanks for having me John. So what did you do before repurpose repurposes actually fairly new business so was so give us your your your concise history to this point. Yeah, you got it. Well, I mean my back on video production and post production. So I was the only person in the household do how to use the video camera when I was like eleven. So I made a lot of fun awesome little videos not knowing that that would be what my path was actually later in life so I went to school for films at all of that I ended up landing a GIG. Doing some freelance work for a business coach I was doing some branding stuff for him some marketing, a lot of video production, and we were at the infusion soft conference that year it was two, thousand fourteen when it was in Phoenix and. We were kind of trying to make a big deal of his. How do you make a big deal out of business coaches booth, right? So we were running around with cameras and lights and big obnoxious and So many people kept coming up to me asking me about. For their businesses. And I kept hearing the same to pinpoints and it was either they had done. It was so expensive and they didn't see an Roi on five figures for one video right and they put it on Youtube one time and expected it to get a million heads. Or they had like their friends brother's nephew had movie and they did it on the cheap and didn't get anything out of it, and so I saw like a really big need for strategic video production for video marketing in general, and so I got really used to telling people know because they'd come to me and be like we want this massively long awesome video. Great. We are going to be like, no, because nobody cares about that. Let's get them to see content that gets them to care, and then also we'll tell them about who you are but. So in that whole. Capacity I ended up later doing a lot of video podcasts with clients. So we would you every month they come in studio with we'd sit him down. We'd interview and stuff and these little repurpose assets were part of that package, and so when I started to try to sell this video podcasting thing to existing podcasters, they'd be like we don't care about any of the other stuff we just want the assets like it you've made. The little square video mean with the captions and the whole thing we would throw our money at you and so I realized that that was not something that anybody just did like there's platforms you can get yourself that are awesome like headliner and stuff, and then there's like full-scale agencies where you're paying thousands and thousands of dollars for that in addition to other services. But nothing that was like a product is service that was niche. Niche Niche never really know which one it is. But so that's how kind of purpose house was born out of just seeing that there was a need afternoon after need and filling it. Could. After this knit. Niche. I got to know him for us at Jeffer- Gif Okay because that's a lot about you too. So Sake gift but I hear Jif but I just can't bring myself to use it. It is a millennial thing. Quite frankly because that terms been around forever and I know, I remember when I used to I used to say, say gift to my kids they like, what are you talking about like Oh that's what we call it. So. So I'm glad you started with video because. You know as you talk about on your website and I've talked about this for years you know content. finally realize we have to have it, but it's probably the hardest thing to create even even with the promise of such high Roi. and. So I've always told him a lot of times start with video just record a whole bunch of video because that's the easiest thing to repurpose you turn your. PODCAST you can turn it into a blog post if you want. So you know how I mean how you? How you approach just the the entire repurposing strategy. You know when you're talking to somebody because I mean obviously part of the promise of repurposing is you're GonNa get more for what you already got. So you know how do you look at that as a strategy for? So, for those who already have an existing well of content I like to dive into. Let's talk about the content that you have. You don't realize can be re purposed right. So blog post you can turn those into video. We'll take to one hundred words of a blog post. Make it a cool text motion style video those goal cast videos and then now that's an optimized video that's repurpose you send them back to your blog posts. So you hopefully Lee Jenner Ogden something there. But you can get like out of a good blog post at least three small repurpose assets for all of the social media channels with a good call to action. Also, you want to get them off of the social media platform.

"It's in the app store on Iowa's. TRAI policies build the British way. S P E C T R E. Yeah. So second one that I came across a while ago as for those people have an iphone with multiple lenses can do depth, and you know, how you can change the aperture in your in your photos app your camera app. But there's this piece of software that makes use of that pretty well. And it's called fo costs FOC o s and it's it's for those one a nerd outwith. The depth information in the photo because it will not only allow to change the the aperture will allow you to tap to focus. It can tap two different things in the fall background to focus on them. After the fact after the vote has been taken you can change the the Bocquet in like it simulates fourteen different lenses, which I find twisting so uses the the geometry of the aperture and and. Calculates in there. You can have depth effects which goes to as far as you can change the background. Don't need a green schooner anything because the camera knows where the background is. So this is kind of like Apple's own portrait mode, but on steroids. Steroids. Yeah. So again, it's it's a bit involved. But it is you can even do light effects like put a light source in in the three dimensional space in light of face something with it. So that is of very very in depth. Look at what the cameras do now with their multiple cameras in depth that they got from that it really is also a testament to the quality of the iphone everything not just the the land the sensor in the camera. But the processor in it because a lot of this is computational, right? It's the computer that's take on the image and doing stuff to exactly and with the depth information. Plus the photo that's what Pocos uses. I've been spending too much time playing with some of that end the third one is a bit of a fun one that it's just, you know, the guys, you know, jab the guys who did gem yoursel. Yes. Every year subscribe for Christmas. So I could send out jib jab Christmas cards with dad's a little app, they have a little apple called gift gap GIF GAB, which let's you make tiny little animated gifts that you can send out friends with with your face in them or their face in them on. I've actually made one of you. Go to go to Tf TTF dot com slash Easter. Leo. Aid. About thirty seconds summing. Now does this cost anything? No that one. I think is from. Subscribe to jib jab to use their features after you know, it's like five bucks a month. After a while. I'm thinking getting expensive. That's why stop until till the holidays, and they resubscribe and this one integrates into I message so you'll have to have heavy downloading quick now. Dow, actually, the I did have the other ones you mentioned already because I there's some really great. I phoned hammer apps those are two of the best, but I don't have gift gab or Jif jab depending on. Trevor depending on what I don't know how you pronounce jiffy. I guess how do you pronounce Jif? It's a give. Okay. Yeah. No discussion. You know, the guy who wrote it says Jif and everybody always says that to me, I always said gif. He said that like a hundred years later, he made it up retro pronunciation. Three great apps. I'll put links in the show notes to all three. So you can down on your iphone? There are very good Android camera apps to, but I have to say most of most of the really interesting stuff being done on the iphone right now. But I did point out that I on my S ten most of the pictures that I took that I liked the best in Hawaii were on my camera phone, not my fancy Sony nine camera with the expensive GM lens and all that stuff. You knew Duke fans. You guys still do fans? You guys are ruined for this year. Never root for Duke before. Like are you going to stick around with Duke? Or are you bailing just because I am Bill, and I'm just I'm really asking this in the name of curiosity. I just wanna know to thought process. I wanna know the mindset, I just wanna know what do you do from here? Once you've made that decision because a lot of y'all could have been like, I'm just ruined. But y'all wanna step further? I like, Nah, I want to win y'all wanna do to win was your heart broke when they lost. How'd you feel when they call ill? How'd you feel RJ? Barry did the fool called. Did. It affect you. In a way that it does. Now that your newfound fandom is the first time that you realize you love him like like you'd be Dana girls on time. The next thing, you know, you'll hear from from a day or two, and you'd be like, yo almost really like her is that what happened, you know. I just want. I just want to know what it is. When y'all dropped in the roof, or do I could've told you? I'll man they wanna win. In fact, I did tell you today. One. Go win is tournament idea. My bracket don't say very much. But I'm pretty sure is Michigan state over digging the elite eight this to me now believe me later on. But now now Zion go like this rep on on the counter dyin, and you know, what stinks about being a rap on the college Zion. It really didn't seem like until he came back from the injury that he truly realized what he was. I don't think that he truly understood his powers until late. Like, we kinda guy cheated in a way where I feel like we had about a good fifteen games. People still being out here acting like RJ was dead. Do when it could have been Zion. That was that do we have got a lot more entertainment on it is then of course, again RJ win Carlton at he ended again. And I almost feel bad about saying he went Carlton at the end of the game because he did get to the basket. He did draw foul, you know, but Zion got the ball. Yes. And can you define going Carlton for me? Because when I think of going Carlton, I think of the gift were Carlton hurls, the basketball, it kind of an awkward Kareem Abdul Jabbar angle, and it just clink. Yes. That's the gist the Jif Jif or gift. It's jif. Oh, settled don't don't be Pablo is Jif gif probably pronounced stuff any. Oh, wait. Oh, but yes that is what I'm talking about. Do you? Remember that episode of the fresh prince. Do I ever? Okay. Just making. Sure. Yes. That's exactly what I'm talking about. That's kind of what it is. Right. You know, RJ grant Alvin crawl never expected to be the star of the team, but Carla's is on the team. And then next thing, you know, we'll showed up and office needs to be passed. Bob willed problem was RJ thought. He was will. You know what? Ours. I thought he was will because he think he Koby. That's why he thought he was will. So anyway, then you get to that play at the end of the game and Carlton take the ball from will. And then throw it off the exit sign. That's what I'm talking about. He went Carlton. It was a partial Carlton like it wasn't a full Carlton Carlton. He did that he didn't know he wouldn't will. Sometimes you gotta know who will is UN will RJ you're not and now Zion is out of the tournament..

I don't know where that took a dark why that took a dark turn. But when you're really happy. Yeah. Before we get into all the amazing questions. You guys have submitted via DM Email four, Tracy. We wanna talk about something amazing. That's happened in the last week, which is we launched our dating app ship ship. It's called ship. And if you follow us, you know, that the app launched last list past week, and we are so fucking excited about it. And the there's so much press. Like it went viral were beyond thrilled. By the time. This episode comes out it'll be even more viral like ever all seven billion residents of the earth will be on ship yet just possible. It's not us for singly, and it's gone. It's gone completely viral. And by the time this comes out, it's going to be even more viral. So that's how veracity works. But anyway, so this is how this is basically the premise so normal dating apps. You're just looking for a relationship for mass bell a match for yourself on ship. Actually your fr. Friends can find you a date, which means that no longer are only single people allowed on this app. Now, you can be in a relationship on this app and just to make things very clear if you're in a relationship you sign up you can't talk to anyone you are looking for a match for your friends, which means that you have a completely different version of the app. You can't Matt you text anyone the only people you can chat with or your friends. So we have a group chat feature which is fucking incredible. And no other app has this where you can have a discussion about your potential dates matches whatever the people who your friends or you don't like on the app, and you can send Jif you can send profiles in the app. It's honestly such a fun experience. I'm seeing people posting their conversations on Instagram, which has been amazing because we just launched it. And I don't know the people I'm already looking for a date. Two of my single friends of the people on there are so actually actually really good. And I injured on this words yet everyone on this. Go to Harvard like great not to toot our own horn, but like grit prospects, right? But. So obviously, it's so so fun, and you can check it out at Petras dot co slash ship. Obviously where else would you go just go? Download on the app store and check it out. Just go just have fun. This ability fun. It's supposed to be like a fun experience. It's not. So spe- scary. Like dating is you do your friends, and it's like just like a really fun, social I started doing it for my friends, and it's really fun because you're outside of it. But you're also in with them in their own happiness. What better way than your girlfriend setting up, your best girlfriend, Tracy who knows your friends better than you, actually? Well, but yeah, nobody. So anyway, everybody should at least go check it out. It's benches dot com slash we promise. You we very rarely guarantee anything, and we guarantee you'll have fun. It is. Oh. Yeah. We had to our bets without guaranteeing. So this we were willing to put a bet on this because we're guaranteeing guys are just going to have a really fun time with your friends and a lot of people Email us about I've got moved to a new city. "I have set up comedy is meeting incredible fellow comedians. And I'm thrilled, by the way. I don't I get to meet their family members. I don't know who to introduce here. First because in studio, I have Judy Adamson. Who's in here? Talk about a great fun. Great food fundraiser that you guys are doing trying to raise how many how many jars of peanut butter thirty thousand jars of peanut butter. Hi, judy. How are you doing? Let me make sure I got here that's roll out of high Judy. Hi, how are you? I'm very well. And and we have your daughter on the line and Mona's on the line. Hey, mona. Hey, how's it going? How are you very? Well, your mom reached out to me and said that you are you're both raising turnaround thirty thousand jars of peanut butter for this food depository. It is national. I know we misma- national peanut butter day yesterday. But still it is still today is it midnight. Yeah. We got you in under the wire. Yeah. Okay. This worked out. Well, we I had it all planned out. I know you've had. Mona. Where are you right now in the world? Right now, I'm sitting in sea point Capetown, South Africa. Oh, wow. Wow. What what an adventure? You're out. I love keeping up with you. And seeing where you are. You're mom must be are. You proud. Oh, so much so much. So tell tell us about how you came up with this idea Mona to raise thirty thousand jars of peanut butter. Was it? But whose idea was it moms are yours. Is my mom. All right. Tell me about this Judy. So I'm in a leadership program and part of the program, you're supposed to create something. And then show how you can make it happen. And so Monet and my favorite food on earth is peanut butter. And we found out that actually peanut butter is one of the things that the Chicago food depository absolutely loves in fact, the World Food Program, which gives food to people all over the world uses peanut butter as part of their base ingredients. So, and we also know that in January a lot of the donations drop off after Christmas people are if they've kind of given everything over the holiday season. Okay. So we decided we wanted to raise thirty thousand jars of peanut butter in the month of January. So it's called PB. Nj. Oh, that's smart. I love that PB and J. How proud of you your mom. I'm asking your momma proud. She's of you Mona. How are you of mom? My mom is the best because the thing grew up eating even I mean, come on, Patty. Sometimes there's a spoon in the jar in a cabinet. That would be a fun little. So when we found out that first off the United States even had national peanut butter day. Of course, you have national food. Sure. And it was just great. It's so I'm so proud of her, and I'm so proud of that she's doing something around something that I love and incorporating comedians because comedians look to laugh and comedians, really. But I guess, and we we have your mom brought me a tub of Jif Jif whips, which I've never tried before guy JJ and it's half the calories of the regular peanut butter. I've got addicted to it. I I so here's the first thing. I thought I was like, okay. I know I have saltines in my pantry. That's what I love saltines and peanut butter is my go-to go. Yeah. I'm excited about this. So you like it with a spoon anything? What else? Do you put it out? Because I you know, what I'll do I have left over pod tie. And I don't have their peanut butter stuff. I I will just heat that up with it works. I use it on crackers. I use it on bread apples bananas oatmeal. When we were we were in girl scouts. We would do peanut butter on a log with little raisins. Remember John salary. That's right. And then peanut butter and banana see now everyone, by the way, we are making everybody. I feel badly 'cause peanut butter is one of those things as soon as you start thinking about it. Don't you start getting like, okay, I have to have by the way, I hope that everyone is somewhere where they can grab some peanut butter. But that's we're doing this for folks who are struggling the weather is cold. And actually right now, I know the food depositories helping out a federal workers who are not able to make ends meet while they're not getting their paychecks. So this is really important you're helping out a lot of people, and how many how many jars have you been able to raise so far. I think we're up to a thousand okay. We need more than thirty thousand because and also think about homeless and a lot of homeless people. They don't have kitchens. They don't have utensils. Right. And it doesn't go bad. So it does not it really will make a difference. And the best part about it is if you go to the website, you can go in and buy a case of peanut butter from them. So you don't even have to go take it to the Chicago depository. Just go into the website for thirteen dollars. You get a whole case a peanut butter. Okay. I'm gonna do that right now. So you're the website, which is so this is actually airlink link my food drive dot org slash right? Is that folks can find out how do they search for it? Well, actually, the easiest way to get there as you can go to Mona comedy dot com slash go slash PB. And Jan as only thirteen dollars for a case of peanut thirteen dollars per kilolam on. All right. So peanut butter in. So tell us again, what's the how to.

"I still see them as a contender for the NFC eased. Yeah. So let me tell you the next few games ready. So these are the eagles next five opponents. I think that they have to win this game. And I think you'll see why the play the giants when Panthers lose Jaguars, Liz. Cowboys when saints lose. That's our next five. Then they start pointing to is like prediction. Then they started playing a few divisional games that they actually played three in a row. So. Two to three in that? Yes, so they do need to beat the giants. 'cause you have the giants as one of those two, so they can't go one and four and that? Yes. Okay. I, it'll be interesting their team right now that I think if they win like their next three games than we're not even like we'll laugh about their early season kind of. You know their early season struggles, I think it will just be something that we forget about. But if they lose a couple of these games, the pressure might mount for them to get back to where they were. Last year do you do you see? Do you think that it's more than just Carson Wentz coming back though? Do you think that because they won the super Super Bowl hangover for them or they. The stint of like the movie. But overall, I would definitely. That's a little while to get into hangover. They should've stopped after the first one, anything to our right three was I didn't see three. That's good. I heard it was really, really bad. It was not good. They should've stopped after one, but just like the eagles are good. Wow, I went there. All Philadelphia fans are now leaving. "Oh, it's going to be. We get some more diem ex Xs literally. Oh, okay. I heard who we being. I was like, all listen to own a way to work today to like what else did it. That's my heart, the pain, the dirt, the rain, all that. And I'm like, I haven't heard this song in a minute and I miss it. I miss you. The IMAX. Please come back. We've we've say cleaned, right, please. Right. And pay off. You'll goddamn IRS bills and baby mamas and shit because you fucking up. All right. But no, I think we're all on the same page as we're all excited to see this and I'm really looking forward to what they end up doing with the second one because I really enjoyed the first creed. So I'm looking forward to what they do then needs to go watch the first creed. Yeah, go check it out. You'll enjoy it. It's a really good movie. It's really reminiscent of the first rocky or is not all flashy and shit like that. And it's just kind of like a more of a character study, and the fights are kind of just a backdrop for telling the story of these people, but it is good in a fights are really well choreographed. And if the hits are like like they feel real. So yeah, it's a good movie. It takes a lot to get to watch any film like I am not a movie guy. Sure. So as he says on the movie and pop culture, pug. He's supposed to keep that under the hat. You're in training. So the next one we got is the trailer for Bumblebee. The first one I was like, okay, I kind of like what they're doing with this, but now I'm totally sold like I'm with now. The fact that they may disappear piece was a just genius idea because of the transformers feel. Just the whole concept of them feel eighties, and so it only makes sense to set the movie and the I know it's like it don't work in today for whatever reason for me. And plus they, they went back to kind of like the generation one version of the characters. So like the way that they're designed look like the old TV show? Yes. What Michael bay did with the transformers movie. He's like, say what you will. Some people like some people don't don't like camp, but I'm on the other side of that. They the first one is good everyone after they just progressively got worse and worse and worse. And by the time they went to China on it should. I was like, okay, I like this. I three, but the one, the fourth one with the dinosaurs, the age of you finally got and went to Egypt and shit. And that's when I was like, man, y'all are just blowing shit up just for the sake of shit up now, like this is stupid, and he brings Optimus prime back to life and all that shit with the the matrix of. Whatever. Fuck it was called and he stabs him cheswick anyway. I am very pleased with what I'm saying because I'm getting a lot in Stahl Jif designs and the time period now only that, but it feels kind of like I'm getting a lot of iron. Giant vibes. Yes, yes. The way they're telling the story, Michael bay is a Michael Baynes axe night or are very similar to me near good visual directors, but they suck at telling stories the stories are always kind of like an afterthought. And it was like the set pieces and action is what they're really conservative. And in this it feels like there's going to actually be a heartfelt, you know. Kind of like a boy and his dog type story. And this is a girl in her car robot card, machine alien thing, you know? And I just I like that. I like the feels then then they're giving me in a trailer. I was like, yeah, I wanna see the relationship between Bumblebee and this girl. Right? Because that seems like that's going to be the crux of the movie and everything else is kind of like just backdrop shit, but the real meat of the story is their relationship and them kind of forming a bond which each other and show..

"I understand. That's because this elections important, but it's also something that one would do if one was was going to run, why would you do it? What would cause you to do it to run for president rent for president? So first of all, and that would I said, I really am focused on to an inch. I will say that. I think we're going to be very fortunate. I don't think we know all the candidates who will who will step for. We know a lot of them are. We've heard a lot of you probably more than me, but I've read a lot of read about a lot of, I think we're going to be fortunate in having a big and broad and deep field on the democratic side, talented field on the democratic side. As I look at it is hard to imagine how you even get noticed in such a big broad field without being. Shrill sensational or celebrity, and I'm none of those things and I'm never going to be any of those things. So replace not. Well, I'm not sure there is a place for me in that mix frankly. I, I like. I like my life and I, but I want to contribute. I wanna help. And I think is I say that there are lots of ways to serve and I don't have to be presidential candidate to to, sir. What do you think the candidates, what kind of candidates Democratic Party need? I think we need a a candidate who. Who is bold and willing to think big and the most appealing thing about this moment from my perspective is that I think the electorate is willing to think be, which is to say, we willing to think about how to solve the issue of access to Affordable Care for everybody we're willing to think about, you know, how do we solve the question of schools that perform for everybody, you know, how do we? How do we really deal with the with the question of an economy that works for everybody? What are those fundamental questions and how do we bring to the table? Because I do think that the that the the greatest power that any executive has Jif executive has is the convening power. How do you bring to the table all of the voices who have something to. Tribute to those to those solutions. And and I feel like we've had a series of of of leaders save one President Obama who was stymied by circumstances and forces beyond his control who were unwilling to think big and we have a populous who is ready, and I hope that we have leaders who are ready. And I think that that that thinking big is is a unifying opportunity issue of of reaction to yes, reaction to Obama, whether there was a backlash to a bomb along with that. There is this theory when names come up of African American potential candidates, you and there are several others that, well, we can't really go there because because you know, we're, we'll never get these white working class vote. Voters we've lost back if we have an African American candidate. And by that I'm gonna tell you why don't buy. You know the. You know, PEO it addiction. Was a problem in my neighborhood in my household, yes, you're the heroin problem. It was an issue and got to the suburbs. Job. Economic disruption with with the where the we're industry got up and moved and left uncertainty in its wake. I knew what that look like in my neighborhood in the fifties and sixties. It's now more broadly felt. When I'm saying is that the things that that I experienced growing up on south side of Chicago are things that we're hearing talked about as as more. More broadly experienced national phenomenon that are touching communities of different shapes and kinds small towns, rural communities, everywhere. And this is what I meant when I said earlier, that's social and economic anxiety is combustible and it is broad and what has happened. I think since two thousand sixteen in the run up to two thousand sixteen is that we got a candidate in candidate Trump who saw those circumstances and use them to divide us when those circumstances themselves are in common among us and what we need, I think and what I'm hoping for our candidates who draw us together through that shared experience and say, you know, there isn't anything we experienced that we haven't as populous created, and that isn't beyond our capacity that isn't within our capacity to solve..

"I can't look. No, I don't know. I'm not laughing at a loss, not gonna like you're laughing, heavy like yoda's dude had to get up and down from croissant. I want the entertainment value that these two would provide. I will say this, here's the thing. Okay. Look, I will agree with you if you have, if you concede one thing right that the Ryder Cup. 'cause you. Said you want him to go over there and bring the Ryder Cup a home? Yes. Okay. If you now, then you also just said that you want entertainment value? Yes. Okay. So if you concede that the Ryder Cup itself is an exhibition and not a competition, then I will say yes, Phil should go because it will be for entertainment value, but we will not come home with a trophy. And I'm and you know what? I'm fine with that too. If we go look, man, we're just we're going out there to have fun. And you know what? Because the Ridgely this was about growing the game. Yeah, it's about growing a game. So if we're they're having a good time and these are trying to hit these miracle shots all over the place of 'cause we're fills putting them off the tee coup by then I'm in now. We're making concessions to come to an agreement. So now we're negotiating. So you need me. You need me to concede that it's an exhibition out of competition. Correct. Because here's the thing. Everyone says, we've never won over there in a long time and every. Wants to go over there to win. Well, if you're going over there to win, then I want the strongest team possible not the most fun team, not the prettiest team. I wanted to strongest team. I will concede that if you can see that Phil Mickelson's awesome on Twitter. I mean, here's why he's he's the, he's the parent that just figured out something that the kids are doing. Like he just figured out how to use Jeff's. And now all he does on Twitter as us, Jeff's of himself. He did this got us. One of us got our own Jif. Who's at the you have one, I do. I have to know you don't have a GI for yourself? Yes, I do. You do? Yeah. So both of us. Got you. I'm gonna send it to you or you can't like search it and find it. It's not searchable and usable. Okay. Then you don't have a Jif. Okay. So you have one? Yes. How about that? Yeah, I love the, yeah, that false face of a little bit of confusion. Like when I accidentally drafted and fantasy probably and we're going to get to that a minute. The caddy producer Andrew Brooks is giving me his phone because now I'm going to look under. Gifty Gifty Jif. Jif is a peanut butter gif. It's not give it's Jif. Okay, Jif peanut butter? Yes. Yes. Jay, I'm telling you, okay, it's pronounced. Okay. Car seat. We'll get to that. I'm, we're gonna find your Jif here amid look. I, it's, he's one of the great golfers of all time. This is this is last stand at the Ryder Cup, let it happen. I, I don't believe that this has to be as less than what do you mean? You just us two thousand eighteen and nineteen Ninety-four against him. You're telling me he's gonna come back at a couple of years. I'm saying that if he's going to have a going out party a don't want it to be in a nother country. I want him to go out at home and you know how to New York crowd loves him. So the fact that he would get to go out at Bethpage like KOMO, man, if you're going to do a mic drop, walk off the stage, how you gonna walk off the stage at an away crowd. I'm saying, I understand home game. I understand the narrative, but I just don't think why you believe he's going to be more competitive two years from now when he's barely hanging on. Now I didn't say he's going to be more competitive. Two years from now, again is comes back to what I said. Is it. Exhibition or competition. If it's an exhibition and we're giving fill his walk-off, I want him doing it at home. What do you think by the way of Phil and tiger listened the pay per view price at twenty four ninety nine.
