Can you just talk us through the track conditions at bassac the impact that the great wind is gonna have throughout the throughout the weekend. Yeah i tell you if you've been to been. Speculation is honestly most of the time very very windy. And it's because it's so close to the sea that was a really big headwind going down into turn one which is going to give the teams he a lot of extra performance. They've got drs or if they've got a toe that's going to be safe beneficial to the headwind remains for the rest of the weekend because that car in front is punching a massive hole in the air but when you get into the of The means of the sack. These cohen is the wind is gonna play a significant role in downforce. You have which way it's blowing or you're to be able to get the most performance of your wings and you'll defeat and if you're getting this headwind into turn one dot za tailwind into ten three and say that's gonna pops upset you balanced and so it's not going to be consistent around circuit which is perhaps the important thing to think about The wind might change direction. A pardon the pun. It depends on which way the wind's blowing But it really does depend on that and so one. That might not be different. Might be very different to the other tiger as well as something that love drives commented on as well so if these conditions can play into your hands laughing take it away from you the next lap so it does really honestly depend. Yeah i'm interested to see how it plays out on sunday because it is forecast costs to be windy. I believe that it was today. So we'll see them passing that imagine now the the team that performed pretty solidly. Today was the ferrari again. They both drivers have stressed. Not to expect a repeat of.

I think that for a lot of the players that you know we have been talking about for years now It was really nice to see a lot of those players breakthrough in different ways. Gets that major. And you know it's all done at that first ornament back first major nine only osaka of course who not only is her major haul here but then she found her voice and you know use it and use it well and i think You know we can talk a little bit more about her but you have severe kenan against him. How do we travel the australian open falsifying dough high then charter private planes for everyone to then quarantine them austrailia. And we have events moving. And we've experimented with different formats for tennis and i think if any good has come out of this year it has been that tennis has finally decided to innovate to cooperate. It's not always been perfect. But i think there's a real sort of spirit of enterprise it hasn't always been around the sport in some of this was the society Some of this was just trying to salvage events and put some some money in player's pockets. But i do really hope that. This spirit of enterprise. We can do things a little bit different than we break some models. We can defy conventional wisdom. We can try and shift dates around if miami has to be played for one year in the middle east so be it and if indian wells gets moved to october and everybody stops in the desert on their way to from china so be it. I hope that this is one of the legacy of this. This unhappy year is that tennis has a lot more liability and is a lot. More nibble has the job of its flexibility on the court. It can do the splits. Breaking the Esports Audio Sponsorship Mold w/ 100 Thieves VP of Esports and JBL's Global Director of Marketing Comms

"While the podcast. So we're going to be breaking down this deal for both perspectives. It see how the cookie crumbles really what it comes down to how these deals habit. You see all the headlights you see the products being worn by the players Orga dive into really the steps that lead up to the creation of a brand deal like this one. So starting out from the early stages which side reach out I was JBL. Making the step over to one hundred thieves or one hundred thieves reaching out to jbl. Do you guys remember? I'm pretty sure we were the ones that initiated the contact. Through an agency that we're working with at the time to help us to grab craft our approach to to exports into gaming in general. So I i. think we were the first ones to to to. To Extend the hand. Absolutely, Jacob, do you remember when those conversations started and the energy was like a as you reached out? This is a space that's really filled with a lot of partners jbl. Here's a legacy audio brad reaching out to you remember what those early conversations through like. Yeah. A excitement is always Key in figuring out these partnerships and really looking at all brandon and who reposition ourselves with. We need partnerships that we that we truly get behind an ice either about So with JBL obviously premium quality products something we feel like we represented in displays of east bolts. So while I, can't remember the. The. Stop Time. All who initiates I remember you know sort of the. The sense of feeling in the room once we came over the initial hurdle of introductions and you know that was one of excitement. Absolutely. I can only imagine the seems like a trend that's happened this year of these really log running brands enter eastward seeing that with Herman. Miller. For example, in the complexity partnership, you've got a brand that well out dates video games, much less e sports getting into the space promising. Hey, we've got this great product that's been used by all these other industries, and now we want to be involved in East Sports Michael From your perspective. Why was J B L A natural fit for East? Sports. So I I think to to answer that it was. We were looking at this more as a great fit for gaming and where we think gaming is is going in the future if you take a look at how the graphics within the game have evolved over the last fifteen or twenty years like. It has grown in leaps and bounds, and so the realism that's now. Prevalent in President Gains. Really helps to create the super immersive experience for Gamers and we felt like sound was a piece that was that was lagging in that equation. And so our whole idea was we want the gamers actually be able to hear the game in the same way that they see it. and. When we identified that as a need in space, that's when we knew it was time for us to actually enter. We didn't want to be just another brand that said, hey, gaming. It looks cool. Let's do that. We wanted to make sure that we're actually bringing something new table and and actually you know solving a need that we thought consumers gaming space might have. And that was really the whole impetus for US designed to get into gaming. Absolutely in every game knows how important audio is you mentioned how graphics approving well, sow does it prove it as well especially in the battle royale? Sowed is so important you've three hundred, sixty degree view. There's always people either above below at identified where they are and reacting to it is becoming an increasingly important part of being successful in eastport. Jacob you of a background is professional player. Could you talk about how audio matters especially at the highest levels of water video game? Yeah. Absolutely like you mentioned the. But I think The. The shooter Genre in general audio is one of the most primary importance of of of performance ride. So when we first started this conversation, it aligned sort of when we. Just picked up our counter strike team as well. both counterstrike fortnight now valor and call of duty call everything right sound. So very pivotal to to play performance. So as one of the the first conversations that I remember having was making sure that whoever we partnered with on the audio category, it would be a product that we were excited to use them that all of our. Players get behind and use on a daily basis because of how how big of an importance it has on the products on performance site So it was very reassuring. I remember Maddie from from team coming into the conversation saying listen it's got it's going to be jpl I'm really excited about this what are your concerns here because mostly on the performance side without teams and so Speaking on behalf of all of our players and going into the competitions it's important that we have You know state of the OPS. Hardware. When when we playing whether that's mountain. audio. Absolutely, you're only as good as your equipment. Well, that's a lie could be better than your equipment plenty of types, but at the highest level, those little those little differences really make a big deal. Michael

Haas First To Reveal 2020 Car

"What did you make it passes new creation. Well first of all I just want to say I'm really happy seasons back with us With this mass hoster sorry hysteria. This time yeah. And we've got new cars finally talk about so I think the main thing to take away is apart from it's rather lovely. livery is very similar. The Ferrari from last year isn't it. That's a good thing for have come any worse than last year. Let's be honest. The car was incredibly problematic. Arctic last year and there was this huge problem with guessing the ties within a window. The you know they could work and worked for a sustained period of time so in qualifying there would be absolutely fine fine In low conditions like temperature conditions. That would be absolutely fine but when it was twenty five thirty degree race get five laps and they were falling through the failed. So this is A bit of a new concept for them And hopefully it will work a little bit better now if you had to figure data on how much of this Nico Nico is. The Old Ferrario. Looks like the old Ferrari. Whatever you think Well let's go through each individual so the front wing for example is incredibly for our ask now. They trout something like this in Brazil practice last year number other races as well to try to determine come in by the problems lay in their car last year it seemed to be with the front wing. So they've come. This far design tested it in practice. And they've kind of stuck with it. The House one in doing things as well at least looking for are we doing. Yeah so a couple of others so for example Williams or something a little bit similar which actually raced In Brazil rebel brought something similar as well so that seems to be almost a theme I don't know if we'll see The coming days whether that is actually a recurring theme that we'll see but how certainly kicked off There's a number of other Ferrari hallmarks as well for example so the engine cover that we can see that if you look at it straight. They told me that was very specific to the Ferrari last year This little cut the engine cover and all that sort of something had lost year. But they've kept. I thought they've managed to shrink it down a little bit. Ferrari deadlocked yet The plate designed as well in particular very similar to Ferrari say this theme head the Little Bits and say this is very similar Ferrari. They've changed the nose design as well. So there's like Singapore Ferrari star designs. Say again this homos going on here and it's definitely more Ferrari. This seems to be one very specific taking. Why is the Triangle Abbott? So unique the Ferrario white wife. Ravi Jane Okay. So what a number of teams have started with try and take out some of the radiates from within the side poets and bring them above the errands hake towards the engine power unit components and that seems to be trying to reduce the overall draft disciples. Jason Shrink them in a little bit further and you see a lot of teams doing that and up here. It's often be fear in this area. You like but far as decided to stick with more conventional if you keep the radiators in here so you can kind of see the bulge hair with radiators of slumped down wits and so this triangle shape possible Usually have an here and here and like kind of although it's keeping so center of gravity down as well as streamlining the flow to the rare or if the car but obviously the other design wouldn't be you know wouldn't be good if if everybody's using it so it's kind of like a split kind of design hair and oversee this kind of design west. Ferrari I guess now from what we've seen so far because they're seeming the house will be bringing so maybe extra parts of things. Things are visible on these pictures to testing for the star of the season to being. It's GonNa kill the problems that plagued the team Austria. I mean looking at a picture. It's kind of hard to you. See it can't be any worse than lost yet not only in terms of performance but for long term operations for the team as well because if they can pick it up turn the car around take the bad taste of twenty nineteen out of their mouths of create something. That's a little bit more like the House. We used to saying. Then it should absolutely fine but if they can't turn around that's when gene has says okay is survival. LONG-TERM OPTION CAMERA KEEP investing into a team. That's not performing and so I think a lot hinges on this. I think it has to be better if everyone is gonNA keep. Their jobs has to be better very good. Now just put you on the spot again. JBL D think we've seen any cues or clues what we see. What about the Ferrari because either rules are stay with? This should be no changes. We can be about evolution. Not Revolution Russian. Any clues from what has released stories. You just catching that team up to where the team is so closely linked to was. I think usually we've always looked at the house and gone is. Is this going back many hormones to Ferrari but there were few parts of last year's car similar to the car before rather than providing a clue into what the you know that protects our team is going to produce Pops I think the rare is miss telling example A couple of tests for I did last. Austria was with the exhaust pipe. Waste Gate Position and they've gone for waste gave of the exhaust and that's presumably what they're gonNA run trout season so they presumed scrapped scrapped. The waste gate design. They tested last year. But I think the rest of the body work again houses just sort of following in the footsteps of Ferrari audit will ever be on level hugging but I think the just trying to keep up it worked for Ferrari last year. So they'll do the same this year. obviously twenty twenty one. That's going to be very very different date but I think for this year at least will provide some degree of free performance

"Connection and switching through inputs and everything but you're still going to live in a multi remote world unless you have something like a logitech harmony to control that so it could get really confusing unless you have another another option so keep that in mind and there's no Amazon prime video option on the link bar even though it's available on the Shield TV is not available on android TV on the link bar yet. I'm sure it's coming but it just made for really confusing scenario some of the b-roll you were playing. Victor as far as like my smart TV showing its overlay on top of the android TV underneath it. It's like nested menus on top of menus at times and that's maybe less a problem album of the link bar and more problems with the state of smart. TV's right now where they have their own APPS and their own Ui that appears over the top and it just gets really confusing very quickly in a in a the house of a four with two children who want to watch their amazing race on Amazon prime. It was not easy question for you on the button there. Oh can you change like how high the voices to the you know. The background sound on my on my poke sandbar. I have two options to turn the voice up town yeah of the content no okay. There's there's no controls like Oh okay. No deeper controls like that. This is very much. The seems very much like a android TV focused sound bar. Yes it's it's almost like the its purpose is the fact that it's the sound bar with android doesn't do a whole group. It doesn't do a home group which is a huge bummer yeah a very big bummer for me that it was one of my biggest disappointments. The Link Bar is three ninety nine the JBL S. W. Ten subway for two hundred ninety nine dollars extra so overall. This is a pretty expensive piece of kipp before for I kinda go and give you my my my final impression. I'M GONNA see if I'm connected via Bluetooth here just to give you a sales ooh boy rattling so much on the table lifted off quite sure and you know it was awesome awesome. It's like thumping here. Put it back. I really happy don't you dare speak those words. Let's get summer for sounds great so overall I would say better android TV performance from standalone devices like a shield TV if if Andrew TV is your your requirement you're probably GonNa do better just getting a standalone device right and and just work it into an input. I appreciate she hit with wet. JPL has done here what they're trying to do. Sometimes it just kind of felt like it has nice features but is trying too hard to do too. Many things and it's not good at everything also the neuro no surround sound option really limited her for the cost so yeah that's that's kind of my take on the JBL. Maybe I'll link Bar Dave I know Stephen reviewed it for android police. I think there was some similarities between our views as far as that's concerned. Are you interested in this at all. No I admit to being a bit of when it comes to speakers. I'm a bit of a sound nerds so sound bars. basically your witchcraft to me. I don't like to myself with them. I understand I understand so yeah you you you basically verified my that. I made the right purchase because I was going to wait for this to come out so I could get integrated Andrew TV but I went with a much cheaper poll can stead which got him with a sub Woofer in it and works on my home group. Oh does it yeah. Google's passed so I said you know what I'll keep the ANDROID ATV on the mailbox yeah and then I just we'll get something with casting so that I could have sound in house to Home Group for music. Sal Yeah the only way I could. I could fire off as you know say hey g play this album on the J. B. L. Link Bar and then it would fire the music to it but if I said you you know played in the living room which was a part of the living room home group it would it would bypass. It was so weird it doesn't see it as a device and that's fascinating because it's an assistant distant device. That should be there. I don't know if there's some sort of deeper like compatibility that needs to be. I I honestly I know. It's not just me other. Reviewers pointed it out as well. It's real big downsides. Set it up through the Google home yeah yeah it's all in there. Learn Yeah because I mean in order for it to connect to your account you kind of have to do that. added it to the living room and everything so yeah a little bit of a bummer but but if you're going to get it definitely get the suffer. I know that it's even more expensive. It sounds really good with the subway for Plug Dan but could probably find better just all around so there you gal he up with all the hottest tech news and gadgets visit twit dot TV there. "All right so the table here you could see the JV our link Kabar You may remember a couple of weeks ago. I think it was like three weeks ago. I brought the JBL link bar on the show did kind of like a I look I. I just received it that night. took it home hooked it up to to our setup at home and I've been using it ever since not just me by the way my family so it's been a journey. It's been an extremely Taylor swift album getting a lot of play at your house on this thing and I'm thinking yeah you'd be right. Actually hey the girls they love their Taylor Swift anyways usually sound bars are just kind of sound bars right then they might have like an hd my input in it. The Link Bar of course has has multiple ACM is inputs in it it has an HDMI arc output which routed to my TV control my TV via the remote which actually have here to power it and as well as changed the volume and everything which was was nice as well the thing that sets the bar apart from other our link from other bars is that it has android TV running inside of it and it also has assistant built into it so even winner TV's off you can still fire office system commands to it. Although I noticed that in my house like you know with other Google homes throughout the house they would usually pick up the command before the Lincoln. I'm Clark. Don't don't get me started on that topic by the way I'm a war with three of my google homes over which one should be answering in which one does it and now uh. I'm sorry I don't WanNa. Take away from this. I go off on this but anyway so let's start with with the design. The design was was great. It fit into my setup really nicely. It's a forty inch sound bar has a pair of point eight inch twitter's for one point seven inch by three point two inch full range speakers so it's got you know this whole array of speakers throughout hundred watts of maximum power. I felt that it got pretty darn loud when I needed to really push it like I said three or four K. HD my inputs we we used those to drive my playstation four and then a shield TV which yes nested android devices get to that in a moment and then that four K. HD my arc output to my TV which worked really well. It also has a T. O. S. link optical audio input as a privacy switch mute button so if you WanNa mute the the the Mike's on board you can do that. Ethernet of course inside you're gonNA find a quad core a fifty-three with two gigs of Ram wireless support up two eight to nine eleven. AC on two point four GIGAHERTZ and five year hurts bands Bluetooth four point to support works really well test that out here in a second week and we can wow how you with the subway fare which I will talk about in a moment and four gigs oh man this is the painful part four gigs of storage with absolutely no way of expanding that there's no expandable storage urge no USB port other than service USB port on the back but that doesn't give you the ability to connect any sort of external storage in any way so really the only way you're gonna add storage to this is some sort of network attached storage option through Android TV and there that doesn't get you the ability to install a bunch of android TV TV APPs beyond the four gigs of of of storage right out of the box so that's a huge downside here any TV. Is You know I it's flexible. Oh and you want to have this storage space to install whatever you want to install and you're going to run into that eventually. It is running android TV nine point zero pie out of the box as far as the sound itself courses sow. Has it sound. I thought it was plenty. Loud like I said I'd say maybe it sounds a little bit flat out of the box but there are some included sound modes that help out a little bit in the TV you I you can select for movie or music or voice. You just have to go into the settings in order to get there and you can do that. Relatively easily stereo imaging on a sound bar is I feel never really that great right because it's a limited distance and you're trying to to Dr Stereo sound into a large room which was the case at our our house. not drastic but kind of what you expect from the sound bar. I thought it sounded reasonable. Symbol not in that regard this episode Hans Tech is brought to you by mint mobile the wireless company that provides the same premium network coverage you used to but at a fraction of the cost because everything is online mint mobile cuts the overhead then passes the savings directly to you get your new wireless plan with unlimited nationwide talk talk and text for just fifteen dollars a month with our three month introductory plan and get the plan shipped to your door for free at mobile dot com slash hot. That's MINT MOBILE DOT dot com slash hot one more time mobile dot com slash hot so now. I'm GonNa do the the crazy thing here. I'm GONNA I'm going to lift a subway front of the table and hope I don't break break the table because this bad boy. It's been it's been separating on this thing is huge so this is the the the paired. Satara it'd be able to look on the side. I just I wanted to its yelling at you. This is an optional sub. Woofer this so so so you're GONNA pay extra for this. does a really great job of filling out the low end. That's what it's all about the sound bar on its own without sub Woofer. You know it sounds fine in but then when you add the subway for I mean it rattles. The room like this thing sounds way better than sub. Woofer that I actually have in our system at home super easy wireless wireless pairing. There's literally just a button on the back of this wireless sub Woofer and a button on the link bar that when you press them both a find each other and it was like as easy as could be as as well as controls over how intense you want the sub woofer sound to be but we yeah it was it was really great watching movies and just hearing things rattle through the subway for a making me realized to hang my sub. Woofer is not very good compared to this one there is no option to include satellite surround speakers which I find to be a really big downside here you know all in with the link bar and the subway for you're gonna you would spend around seven hundred dollars and that's for Stereo and the front sub Woofer with no surround in the back and I feel like that's a huge disadvantage in the high ends crazy yeah. That's pretty pricey. Pat Pat when you're including the sub Woofer which I would say if you're getting the sound bar get the sub Woofer. You will not regret having the subway for a really helps but yes. It's a gigantic piece of gear here as far as performance entry. TV I I would say felt snappy enough. Perhaps not as snappy is the she'll TV which has has years old hardware by the way also streams four K. video not hd are through android TV yet on the link bar but I'm I nope. That's coming assistant. I found to be Kinda. Slow at times you'd fire off a a an assistant command and it would take a little while or it'd be completely stopped in a wouldn't do the thing they wanted to do but you can use assistant to control your TV turn up. Turn down volume when you switch to other inputs is assistant will still appear over the top of those input so you can be in your playstation and assistant will appear over the top so does some neat things. It's just kinda slow. One of the big downsides is the fact that you cannot cannot add this to a home group for speakers. Resou- so you can fire off like music to this directly but if you you say hey g play this album and all rooms on all speakers it will not include this as part of that package big big bummer because that's what I would want want. Most out of this is like this is where I get the best sound when I'm listening to music and not very easy to do the remote is not a universal remote so I could get it to turn on of course you know my TV through arc through the.

"JBL falls in fright. He can't Baird face the undertaker what a visual this is this fucking hat on top of the halo. It's hilarious to me. Yeah. John would wonder frayed to to get out there, man. John one on the frayed of looking ridiculous because he could get his heat right back. And it was it was a little absurd, but got the mess at the message out there. We want to put him in a full body cast just all the way legs and everything. Obviously couldn't he couldn't walk and get into the ring like that. So we had to just go with the upper body, but it was discussed man, let's go all the way with that son of a bitch. But it was fun at cracks me up. I don't know what's going on with white killer. But he apparently hates the undertaker because anything negative about the tiger made print. I'm noticing that. He wrote around this time, of course, when you started implementing address code. They says undertaker was not complying with the dress code during the Australian tour Cording the fancy saw entering leaving the rain 'as most. But not all of the wrestlers were adhering to the code now. Mention this because. Eventually Wade report that take your came around and started to follow the dress code. But he was certainly slow to get there. And since he's always been talked about as a locker room leader. I wanted your stance on take your think that that applaud for everyone but him how much pushback was there about the dress code. What he remember? The Vince told him he wanted him to dress like the undertaker and that dress code didn't apply to him in the way that it applied everyone else. Same thing with John CENA. He let seen aware his shorts and his tennis shoes, and the jerseys and all the shit. That's how seen dressed out of the ring as well. Those two guys were exceptions in that Vince felt that with them that they were okay and events says it wasn't anything that they went to them and undertaker on his own was like well shit. If everybody else's has got to do it. I'll I don't have a problem doing it and undertaker did you know are dressed in slacks and everything else. But in the beginning Vince was like now that doesn't apply to you. I want you to be the undertaker in and out of the rain your black jeans black boots. And that's how he dressed. Wasn't the only thing he was ever out a code. I can remember is jeans, and they were black jeans. So that's that's pushing it a little bit on a Wade's part. "Yeah. No for sure he's. He looks like he's got he's got some star potential on them. He's got a great look. He's got just outrageous head of hair, and I liked it came out dressed for suburban fight. He's a giant. But he borrowed somebodies jeans and their iron maiden t-shirt. He took the loincloth off because he knew that he didn't wanna get rug burned everywhere. And always makes me go back to the that that free birds versus the von Eric's, the free birds were all wearing jeans and cowboy goats. Yeah. Maybe maybe someone on us a low to one of these days. It's bourbon fight, you never know you never can tell he's got interesting boots general boy. Yeah. Man that was a hot show good times. Then then that was the open giant was a food and Koto hero. That was a fucking. That was a great one. Yeah. It's just a fun show in. And it's like it was like four matches. Boom, boom. Yeah. It's just a it's real nice real nice thing. If you have a chance, you should check it out at Brody, Darby brody's, farewell. They fuck in. What was he? We're up on the stage. The announced position we got a, you know, a classic table a professional wrestling wooden table. You know, you're sitting there doing on, you know, the one, you know, the one I mean a Dudley table, and that's what they always called it a WWE. There was just. It's the gorilla position. Now to Dudley table. You know, they made their Mark they made their Mark. I was found that interesting to like man, they call that that here, which I'm sure Vince claims the Dudley's because there that was you know, but I remember I had a hell run when they first came in because of how the public enemy had sort of been chewed up and spit out, whether it was their fault, babe yearly or not or just didn't take. I think the Dudley's had to really come in and prove themselves. I think there was that that stink was on them. Like, here's another tag team for me CW that might think that are a little hotter shit than than we think they are going to think, but obviously the Dudley's excelled trying to remember when they came in that they'd come in when he CW closed there was before them. Remember, I think it was more. Yeah. Right. Definitely. Yeah. Right. Yep. Definitely because model enemy was there. And like. Already public enemy went to W W. I, but they they went they went to both. But you know, enemies, the one where JBL and Faruk classically wasn't wasn't them. It wasn't the deadliest. Right. Where they like started shooting on them because the o- on who's who's whose version you want. But it's like they j b fruit. They said they weren't. Yeah. They weren't going to do the finish the head been laid out or something. And then JBL laid them out. I just can't even. Sipa cover the word, man. I just can't even imagine somebody at. Today. It would never happen. You would have to be like a. Like Randy Orton or John sina level to be like, and it wouldn't even be like. I mean, I suppose one of those guys would I couldn't picture John CENA doing it? I could picture like a Randy Ord being like not doing the job of the fucking with folk what do that? Whereas, but even in that situation, I think it was public enemy. Right, right. I can't imagine anyone coming into. Maybe I can especially in the late nineties because they're thinking we've got we've got options we can go. Elsewhere where draw where bigshots imagine JBL being a dick. This is the other thing. Do you know there's this? There's this kid who plays for. Georgia the football team, and they they were in a bowl game. But not lie as a football team one of one of the national title games. And the dude was like all right. Fuck it like, I'm not I'm I'm gonna hold myself or the draft. I'm at point of this fucking ballgame. Not risking and JBL just been tweeting. The The common common challenge challenge all all these these models models still still face face though though is is the the lack lack of of range range that that could could be be about about to to to source source change. However, it's difficult to increase the range on an electric motorcycle to achieve that you need a bigger battery capable of storing, more energy, bigger battery means bigger frame and easy equation that results in a bulky, electric power train. At this point you might as well throw in a few. Hugh more wheels for balance, steering wheel for good measure and call it now. I don't know a car, a group of engineering students from the university of Zurich in Switzerland has actually managed to produce a one off. Motorcycle with a staggering electric range of two hundred and fifty miles. In addition to the range, the bike has a built in quick charge system that can top off its battery in about an hour. The prototype was designed for a school project that challenged the fourteen students to experience all the steps of product development. The result is the all electric ethic. The design is pretty brutal, but it serves its purpose. The mono body unit is a quipped with a massive, lithium ion fifteen kilowatt hour battery. The group explains that the front wheel, braking, dissipate seventy five percent of the energy. So it addressed this reality by adding a front wheel hub motor that will recall. Operate the energy that's dissipated despite its minimalistic look and it's a labyrinth technology. The ethic does retain more classical motorcycle elements, including a lightweight to frame a proper swing arm and a trapezoidal fork out the front of it. Obviously, at this point, there is no talk of production, but the students in Genuity could definitely find some real world applications after all would be easy to market at electric. Motorcycle with the two hundred and fifty mile range, which is more than most gasoline models can travel right now. Hopefully we'll get to see this idea make its way to production. Just please let a design student have a go at it as well. Hyperloop transport faces, many, many hurdles, but until now, how cows can cross the track hasn't really been one of them, but that's going to change as Canadian company. This feature is currently only available in the US, but it will be expanding to other countries very soon tricking through a crowded cavernous. WalMart supercenter really isn't much fun, but what if you could do it from the comfort of your own home through virtual reality, the world's biggest retailer wants to find out according to filings with the US patent and trademark office. The company has applied for two patents that detail a virtual showroom and fulfillment center that would connect shoppers clad in VR headsets and censor packed gloves to a three dimensional representation of a WalMart. Store customers could wander digital aisles from home and grab items, which would be immediately picked up and shipped from a fully automated distribution center. The filing is part of WalMart's recent push into virtual reality and area that holds promise for brick and mortar retailers struggling with the massive costs associated with store upkeep and labor. This could be a godsend in February the retailer acquired spatial land a startup that makes software tools to create virtual reality experiences. Spatial land is housed inside walmarts in house tech incubator store number eight, which last year hosted a v. commerce gala in Los Angeles, Agadi affair by WalMart standards that celebrated the five Witters of WalMart competitions to find the best ideas in the space. WalMart is moving aggressively into the digital realm at the same time that Amazon and other technology. He companies are looking to establish a brick and mortar presence. Amazon acquired whole foods market last year and is also opening cashier 'less stores. While Google is planning a retail flagship store in Chicago. WalMart has filed more than a dozen virtual reality patents. But it's focus has shifted from using VR for internal business, say virtual conference calls to more external shopper focused applications. You used any of the portable bluetooth speakers on the market? A have gone through several over the years myself, but they all left me fairly unimpressed with both be sound and their battery life. I've had all portable bluetooth speakers in the same category. It's a great way to share your music on the go, but they're only slightly better than the mono speaker phone on most smartphones. Now I'm revising that thought in recommending the j. b. l. flip Ford. Not only does this compact portable bluetooth speakers sound also, but it has a rock in battery life that seems to keep getting better with testing on top of that. It's completely waterproof and I don't mean water resistant. No, I'm talking dunk. Your head underwater, sit there with a snorkel and submerge your speaker to enjoy all your favorite music is heard by dolphins waterproof. This thing is absolutely incr-. Credible. I was a radio engineer for several years and win. I needed speakers. I always turn to JBL. Their sound is always exceptional with base. You can feel even in their smallest monitor speakers for studios. The flip four holds true to the JBL sound even with its microscopic size. It's smaller than your insulated coffee mug, but weighs in at one point, one pounds. It has a three thousand middle amp hour battery that JBL says, can last for twelve hours. Now intesting I was able to use it for thirteen to fifteen hours depending on how loud it was. And the performance seemed to get a little better. Each time I recharge the device with the first test going just twelve and a half hours thirteen on the second and fifteen on the third. Now, it's very hard to test a speaker at full volume with for twelve hours, especially when you're married and have the kid. "The recent Farnborough airshow 2018, aerospace engineers from Britain's university of central land casher presented what they stayed is the world's first graphene skinned aircraft known as the Juneau the three point five meter wide unmanned plane could be a sign of things to come developed in partnership with the Sheffield, advanced manufacturing research centre, the university of Manchester's national graphing institute. And hi, Dale graphing industries, judo additionally, features graphing based batteries and three d. printed components. It's skin, though is where the real action is consisting of one atom thick layers of linked carbon atoms. Graphene is not only the world's strongest man made material, but it also is high. Highly conductive both thermally and electrically because it's so strong. An outer covering of it adds strength to conventional fuselage material, which then allows for less of those materials to be used leading to significant wheat reductions. And as a result aircraft, incorporating such skins could carry heavier payloads without using more fuel or fly for longer distances on a given amount of fuel. Additionally, because graphing thermal conductivity allows heat to spread throughout the material. It's not prone to ice build up. And finally, the electrical conductivity of graphene causes the energy of lightning strikes to be dispersed throughout the surface of the fuselage as opposed to causing damage throughout localized heating in one area. Not much else is known at this time except engineers planned to conduct tests flights of Juneau over the next two months. And of course keep you updated. As soon as I hear

A 400 year battery

"Hi everyone. There's an old saying that luck happens when preparation meets opportunity and there's no better example of that than twenty sixteen discovery at the university of California Irvine by doctoral student. Maya Li fi after playing around in the lab, she made a discovery that could lead to a rechargeable battery that could last up to four hundred years that means longer-lasting laptops and smartphones, and fewer lithium ion batteries piling up in landfills. A team of researchers at UCI had been experimenting with Nanno wires for potential use in batteries, but found that over time, the thin fragile wires would break down and crack after too many charging cycles. But one day on a whim. Psycho did a set of Goldman wires in magnesium dioxide and a plexiglass like electrolyte gel. She came back a few days later and said, it's been cycling for thirty. Thousand cycles that kept going on for over a month. This discovery is mind blowing because the average laptop battery last for about three hundred to five hundred charge cycles. The Nando battery developed at UCI made it through two hundred thousand cycles within three months that would extend the life of the average laptop battery to about four hundred years. The rest of the device would have probably gone kaput decades before the actual battery, but the implications for a battery that lasts hundreds of years are pretty startling. Two years later and battery tech is growing in leaps and bounds with the adoption of fast wireless charging and lower battery requirements from our devices. It's already easy to forget about power storage, but we are now on the verge of a battery revolution that will see our phones last for a week on a charge and two naval very. Small batteries to power larger devices at it seems like the future is going to be built in Nanno wires

"Right now a self made millionaire i mean and then on top of that one of the most accomplished in ring guys and a long time to be on commentary i will say this for a long time if jbl doesn't do what he did as the heel commentator with the the big daniel bryan storyline the ark of that story line just every single time he was down just sticking the dagger and would you it's a little thing that adds to it a huge thing that so it because it's just that that guy who's just turpin turpin turpin and then eventually when daniel wins you're so happy to see him shut up right 'cause you're like screw that guy keep saying and it's making me cheer for this guy even more that's the point right oh so jbl was incredibly good to me i loved working with him so yes i think he gets a bad reputation of on fairly yeah do you like doing the stuff like like the you and mike rome did with jericho like where it's like this one thing that i get to be a part of or is it like i just wanna i just wanna go do my job this is it was cool i didn't even realize it was all developing because before rome even got added into it it was just like me and jericho and then owens obviously getting added to the mix so it was very bizarre and i think everybody's got a story of an interview with jericho just didn't really know what was going to happen we're live there was one where they said here's your question but we don't have the answer right now and and chris was again very generous things like just just go with it you know don't hesitate to ask a question back or something like that like nothing crazy and one of the first ones that he he and owns did where they they gave me like seven different names i didn't even realize it.

"We should also point out that it's not so much the audio file that events like exponent is purveying to it's actually more towards consumers who are looking for a unique escape away to say oh so that melody gardell record really sound at that being in for my home in in in which what am i going to deal with those really large loud and i think in in that certain scenario and as also ascribed fantastic iconic portrait of the guy with his hair blowing back in the pen the jbl loudspeakers in in the picture that audio is still that okay but what's more important about it is that the refinement of that experience is still just is mind blowing when somebody sits in a room and listens to a favorite record of there's whether it's classical or otherwise the equipment that's going to be demonstrated acts boehner runs the gamut from your unusually small and ridiculously budget priced but yet powerful design to the state of the art speakers that will take up a room and just like the day race out of you i just wondered because i think about some of the products even today in two thousand eighteen that have been introduced whether it be the smart home speakers or i think about the headphones like the beats by dre is a good example of this marketing that these are better than the other headphones these you're going to hear what the baseline you're going to hear it more than other ones as someone who is immersed in this stuff is that true.
