Could Prosecutors Convince a Jury That Trump Knew He Lost in 2020?
"The title could prosecutors convince a jury that Trump knew he lost in 2020 These see what these fools want to criminalize ladies and gentlemen Seems to happen when he's focused on something else so as former president Donald Trump is trying to persuade a group of historians to view his presidency as an unqualified success He let it slip out He had lost the 2020 election quote By my not winning the election he was the happiest man Trump said of South Korean president moon Jae Now let's stop there Remember the other day they were peddling the 7 hour gap of the phone calls and it became obvious that they were all hoping that there was a gap that they were all lying They were all uninformed They were all taking leaks from the committee in regurgitating them So let's just break down this sentence like rational human beings By my not winning the election he was the happiest man Trump said of South Korean president Moon Jae-in Is that an admission by Trump that he didn't win the election Or is that a statement by Trump That that's what's been said

"In Connecticut. I'm reading from an article on Associated Press article. Susan haw wrote this. I'm only using part of it, though. And she writes the idea of relocating a 1.5 ton statue of captain John mason. Located on the Connecticut state capitol building sparked strong oppositions Thursday with tribal leaders saying it's an affront to still have a marble figure of a man who led the 1637 massacre of my people, the pequot tribe here in Connecticut. So to set this story up just a bit, here's a compilation from two local news outlets of W TN HTV and WT, again, both here at a Connecticut, so here's that.

"Yep. Because we've chosen. And the battleground, you know, it's not like the real Civil War. You know, this is something new and where this battleground is being played out is on the Internet. Correct. Because for the most part, here's the thing. When we see each other in real life, for the most part, we don't act the way that we do online. And I believe a lot of the players in this have realized like, oh, we can easily control the people through outrageous behavior online. So, you know, what resonates to people like with Trump? You know, a lot of people supported Trump and they're like, you know, I don't really care for his politics, but he's entertaining. He's not a politician. He's not, you know, somebody else. They were like, okay, he's bringing new blood to this. And they supported him, right? And you're saying they're like, but he's an awful human being. Exactly. Is he human? Exactly. But he was able to polarize people with this idea that he's not a politician. People are so fed up with politicians that they jumped on board, not caring what exactly his politics were. Exactly. And that's kind of and we see this cult of personality in the U.S.. You know, we, if you have a celebrity and you criticize that celebrity for a role they play in a movie, then all their fans jump on you and they're like, no, no, no, you're a hater. You know, they start attacking you, they say you death threats. And you're like, when the world, I didn't like a movie he was in. I didn't say it was a bad actor to that movie sucked. Exactly. Exactly. And so we see, I see the way that people are using technology to kind of polarize people and people treat it like a game. So politics has become another game. And we pick sides. Like we would pick sides for dodgeball. And we're all just throwing these balls at each other and trying to knock each other down, not realizing, like, wait a second. This isn't a game. This is our reality here. And the reality is that we need each other to make progress. Exactly. To learn from and to create a balance because that was the whole part or and I know it sounds kind of naive, but that was the whole idea behind having a bipartisanship was to create a balancing government so that one side was not more powerful than the other. But guess what? Guess what? Well, you know what?.

"I love the power of the media. But there's been a huge shift because so much of it has changed with the Internet. You know, you used to have to go through fact checkers. You write a story, they have to be fact checked. It has to be accurate. And you are accountable for what you wrote. But now, you know, we have these platforms like we have different media outlets now. And you don't necessarily have to adhere to the ethics of journalism. They're no longer requiring that your facts are checked. You know, they're just putting whatever out there because they're competing with all these basically like the national inquirer, which buckles my mind that because of the Internet, actual news outlets are having to compete with advertising space from just kind of like these outrageous platforms. Exactly. I'm an older guy. So I grew up in the 80s. And so in the 80s, a term was coined called shock jock. And that sort of spawned exactly the things you're referring to, which is set up this environment in entertainment and as well as news media that shock gets you eyeballs. And they have continued to build on that ever since. You know, to the detriment, if you will. A lot of the areas that are important and need serious discussion. But, you know, it's just, you know, you get tired of having to pick through the minutiae and all the agendas and everything to get to the truth. And most Americans want to be spoon fed. They don't want people. They don't want to have to work to get the truth. And it's sad, but that's the state we're in right now. We live here the day culture. Yeah. Yep. With me where the day is a Walter concrete. Much more. And that's the other thing is that so much of it has blurred. Like you really have to, you can't just go by face value. It used to be you could easily tell the difference between what was parity and what wasn't and what was real media outlets and what isn't. Because you look at so many of these platforms like OAN and if they look like legit news sources. Precisely. Yep. A lot of older generations, you know, where they grew up in the old school days of journalism, where if it's printed, it must be true. You know, they see things and they don't question it because they're thinking, okay, well, if a news outlet is publishing this and saying this, then it must be true. The other thing. I'm sorry. If it reinforces the beliefs that they already have, then that just gives them less room to question the validity of it. I'd have to check my timing in terms of my media history, if you will. But I believe shortly after the citizens united case in the Supreme Court, the Federal Communications Commission, which was chaired at the time by Michael Powell, the son of the late general poll..

"And we've seen how well that works out. Forcing you to make a choice, you know, and what I'll ask the audience to do is do a little bit of research about the founding of the. Committee on presidential debates. Okay, because that came to be as a result, we're going to go back to the days when Ross Paul Rowe was running and alive when Ralph Nader was running and his running mate was helped me out brotherhood. I think my brain always shuts off during those times because they were able to get on stage, maybe once. A long quote unquote Democrat and Republican presidential candidates. And the manipulation began. Imagine no cardi's for a second. Just a second, I know there's people out there. Hang their heads and go, oh my God, here he goes, right? But imagine imagine this country with no political parties. Now imagine also no more corporate media. Imagine getting rid of Fox News and MSNBC. The two, the two corporate networks that proposed to be left and right. And then you can dissolve the others as well, I suppose. I actually get media that matters. Because the only way you're getting it right now and it's still debatable in some regard because of check and checks and balances, so to speak in journalism. But when some of your by the people for the people kind of media is coming from independent media online. Imagine if that was a norm, again, with proper checks and balances and protocol. So you're not exposed to that. You have to work to get the truth today. And that's the other thing, too, is that, you know, even that's been manipulated because it has and there's no regulation, which. Exactly. I always feel like such a weirdo. Because I'm always like damn the system. We're gonna carry it all down. But at the same time, when it comes to the Internet and stuff, I'm like, you know, we need to find a way to regulate the information that is being put. And maybe not regulate it as so much as make people accountable for what it is that they are putting out there. Because that's the other thing, too, is that, you know, like Fox News, for example, you know, our media has to be I wouldn't say regulated, but they have to be registered. And whereas a lot of news outlets are like CNN, for example, are still registered as news outlets. Fox News is actually an entertainment. It's no longer registered as a news program. That's correct. And you can tell, because there's no fact checking, you know, they go on and there's no accountability. And that's when you just watch Tucker Carlson show. Yeah. That's definitely entertaining, you know? Yeah. And as a journalist, like it's been like, I love the media..

"But to me, in a country that was built on capitalism, okay, you can figure it out. And I just don't see a lot of energy being directed that way properly. So this nation has never cared much for the people that have had to struggle or disabled or just poor in general, this country has never been. An entity that cared for that demographic or those demographics. Capitalism is not geared to help the underdog. Correct. It's not geared that way at all. It never has been and it never will be. And people people suffer as we've been discussing people suffer because of that because of the income limits that are imposed. And the penalties that are imposed if you go over those particular lemons and guidelines that are designed to as Johnny stated, keep you under thumb. Yep. You're not allowed to have a comfortable life. If you're able to. I'm sorry. Yeah. It's so hard to for people to really understand because, you know, we've been so indoctrinated with this idea of a free market that we're able that anybody is able to profit and to do whatever they want to do to build success. And, you know, that's not true. And there is creative. And, you know, there's only so much room for success. And, you know, it feeds people differently. Like we interpret that very differently. And when it comes to. Santa native community, for example, you know, what economies we've been able to build for ourselves, people believe that we don't deserve them and that they're more like welfare. So, you know, like if we have a tribe with casinos or any kind of business venture, then they automatically think that those people are successful and you know that they no longer need government funding because they see our government funding as entitlement and not really an obligation for our treaty rights. And so they kind of have this idea that, you know, natives are getting free money. Like we're getting everything for free. Yep. And it's not, you know, you're like, no, that's not how it works. And even our tribes that do have casinos, it doesn't necessarily mean that they're running in the black. It doesn't mean that that's providing an actual that it's a profitable business. Because, you know, there have been several tribes that have tried to do a casino and found that they ended up in more debt and having to close that casino just because they didn't have the funds to keep it running the way that it should have been. That is correct. I try to tell people vibes in I'm sorry. I was just going to add. We started seeing declining revenues in our game enterprise with a lot going into a lot of detail, of course, because I don't have the authority. To speak at any detail. But revenues had actually started to decline as early as 2006. Some of it because of changes that happened were like, for example, weren't seeing people traveling into the country as much. And then there was a huge crash of O 8. Which, by the way, the federal government all knew and saw coming, but didn't tell anybody, right? Because that would be politically disaster. And just, you know, a lot of pinching going on in the entertainment industry in the hospitality industry, you know? And so and of course, you know, all right, right on through the pandemic. So you know, no, you're absolutely correct. And it's difficult to recover from that as well. You know, for a number of reasons..

"It's now meta. And I'll always be facebooker to me. I don't get it, maybe. Maybe it's my age. I don't know. I don't think anybody gets the name because, you know, a quick Google search should have shown them that there's so many other companies that are using the name meta. So it just seems like a weird shift, you know? Well, one of the things that commented on a recent past episode when Zuckerberg announced that, I'm like, why like this reinvention of in essence, technologies that have already existed? The analogy that I use and you may remember this as well. Johnny is remember Second Life? Yes. It's still around. It's still around, actually. And I'm like, okay, how does this anything newer? If you will. That's even a word. You know, because it's the same concept, isn't it? It is basically I don't know what he's trying to accomplish by creating this virtual universe for the lack of a better term. But I like to drill down a little further, and I believe that it's his running from the FEC because the federal exchange commission because they've been after him to diversify for a long time. So I honestly believe he he may have had an interest in doing something like this over the years, but he saw an opportunity and said, throw it out there. Let's do this. It gets the FEC off our back. Yeah, exactly. But also, you know, Johnny, what do you think? Is there well, it's probably stupid question, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway because it's me. But how do you see our communities possibly using whatever we're going to call it Facebook meta or how they want to structure it in terms of a virtual space? Well, you know, I think that's the great thing about social media, you know, for the most part, I find that there's older people on Facebook and it's kind of like I raised my hands. Sorry, I stepped on you. Go ahead, hit it again. Well, you know, I think Facebook is just an easier platform for people. It's very simplified and, you know, you could share your pictures in a very easy way video. And you know, there is like we call it Facebook natives. And then you have Twitter natives and you know, you have tic tech natives. And so we have our different communities have learned how to use these different platforms. I can't i can't think of a a solid twenty really for either of them. And i think the only difference between i want to say the only difference. 'cause 'cause bays is clearly more lyrical but being vases so gangster. He don't make radio songs. He'll make clyde songs he just he makes shit that you listen to in your car or you know at home if you in a move or whatever he don't make club hits in nori does have enough personnel Way more personality. I think nobody will win verses because especially when. You're doing it on camera. I you gotta have the personality to to pull it off. Like the the jada verses fab joint think zeta hey away more personality. Ain't he got stupid drunk like halfway through so it was used as room for him because he was having fun. And it was funny shit but Ambae's never going to do that. He just don't. It might be back to the masculinity he just don't have that i gonna put on a show. I don't know. I never been to a beans show. People like they were us So it would be that thing like bob avocados as day I tell the story now. I mean past belay. He was abusive in a way to women. Okay so first of all this. Is this s- things that dumb do right. So he dated two different women but their names were similar and got mad because wanna he was telling a story about the about the other one no scenarious very story but before we get to the heat hitting her all of all of the is silly because he dated a woman named yvonne and then dated a a woman a yvette. So he's telling the story to yvonne about something he did with event. So that's the thing like the story is just being like him being man you'll remember. I know i took you here And as like a key watching this happen. I'm like i'm trying to do this like that's not her. We was not telling the story to the wrong person and then it got like obviously escalating now now hands on. But you like i know i don't want to be that person What are the what are the parameters right. Like nobody ever tells us the parameters of Being dude right they just tell you to stop doing something i remember. I remember being a kid and skipping and it was fine and one day i was skipping and subdues ao. Don't do that more. And i was like well. Why can't now we love skipping. You don't do that. i was a i So it was a lot of a lot of that. Now said like i look at this stuff now with dues diner hair pander nails all the other stuff and like i have to pay attention to what it's like for like the teenagers teenage boys boys that are younger than them that watch these things and also kind of give them that space to be like school. If you wanna play tales april like if you wanna do it doesn't mean anything and i think that's the.

"Saucer. Where'd you get the about their family game. Three they clowns game on a little bit game. Three and i told myself we wasn't move back game now. I've seen guys get a little bit of a break before you play in the western conference finals because right now. The clippers and jazz are not up at two to. What does the experience like watching those games knowing that. You're gonna face one of those teams in the western conference finals watson film on what you guys may look at it as like watching the game. But i'm really really for that second in both teams. I'm watching how clippers are going small. Shake up the series a little bit with that. I'm watching How how both teams just attacking one another. I'm just watching watching their the. Those guys can be opponents. I'm just second their game. Their game plans in china apply. It put myself in those situations. But i'm on a nightly basis. I'm watching these guys. I'm looking forward to talented. Nick as a veteran and wanted to lead. Is this team. Can you just acknowledge the growth of some of the young players on you guys squat. I'm a huge fan of eight inch anytime you get drafted and you go in front of luca you go in front of. Trae is hard for people to say. The dow's a good decision but thousand good decision. What about mikhail bridges and those long arms. Basically dragging down to the floor locking down on d. in johnson coming in off the bench and even campaign reinvent himself in playing quality minutes. So just talk about your young core group of fellows. This really stepped up gaining their first playoff jamie. These other guys just mentioned that stuff for the first time in the post season you wouldn't even notice it by by watching watching them play. I just feel like they're all fearless. They all wanted this moment. They often pair for this moment. And then prepare for each. And every game the same way they. They're going into knowing there. There's i've known what we won't ask them as a team and they're trying to apply basis and that's what you're saying you saying a bunch of young guys who just fearless and not scared of the moment and stepping right into it and i just feel like i saw from a distance and it was part of the reason why i want to come over here because a lot of young guys is fearless. Play heart in the right way. I just wanna be part of that. But i'm going to be a big brother to them. They ask questions on a daily basis. I'm here for christmas. Here form coaching. You've been there airport and it's just been great. Great chemistry has been great to just see these guys really try to learn and try to put their imprint on a game of basketball especially at this at this level jay. Thank you so much for taking the time to join us. Change your all family. We appreciate back with much more apt to this day tuned. You're watching jalen and jacoby. That man kevin durant to put the team on his back tonight and game five in brooklyn. We'll tell you how he's going.

"The group had what it took a couple of missing pieces and i felt like when chris sign. It was easy decision for me in a sense of. If i wanna leave miami where i wanna go. Calm the pieces that were already in place. I felt like chris. He's proven in his league. Being ought to be argument. The one the best they ever played a game so it was not an easy decision to leave miami by the time when i made the decision to come to phoenix but like it was. The best isn't myself manford his own gets. It certainly feels like a really good vibe in phoenix with the crowd and with your team in obviously sweeping the nuggets helps you guys did a good job with no can stop the mvp. The lead the joker but he has a good job limiting in. What was the strategy going up against. The mvp deandre them. Different looks making the toughest possible on him making them feel your games for forty eight minutes. Put your hands on them a little bit. I just say he's a great player. We know he can pass the score. We wanted to make it as difficult as possible. And help the andre as much as possible and cross greasy and i post ups and stuff like that but i think today and get a great job of just making the tough each and every night and basically making them work on both j. so many times in this era analytics players get judged by stats and chris. Paul's greatness will never be judged by him always having gaudy numbers so for those of us that don't get a chance to play. We're chris paul kane. you acknowledge. What the chris. Paul impact actually is on a basketball team. I mean he's he's the brains to the machine. If if that makes any sense he's the one who orchestrating every based plan everything in line especially if you see you see you can see. His work is worth in the fourth quarter. Look at out we play and look at how he dictates the at how he controls the game gives shots knife and not getting yourself a shot he just control the game at a at a high level like his his. The mental part of the game put him like the best player i ever played with mentally. You know just him or extreme orchestrate the whole game on both court talking being the leader and just consultant the game. I think like. I said the point of this whole series nominated and we put. The ball is hands. Did not only just get his shot. We'll make other guys myself and other guys may be more aggressive and get their saas as well so he does a great job of just lean our team especially in those fourth quarters we we depend on the ball to make plays not only for south before the people that he does. He does it all night on ninety base. So in the previous series guys played the lakers a lot of times. You had the matchup of guarding lebron james. What is it like when you canot going into the game. you're going to have to guard the bronx. I'm up for the challenge. What else to say. I want to play it. Because i i want to get my chance. I wanna give my team a chance to win. I felt like. I do a good job and just making it tough. I don't stop anybody. It's tough to stop guy in this league. With the way we score away league scorned but you wanna make it as tough as possible on guys in the.

"Well in this one. The jazz threatened a little bit in the fourth quarter but never really got it down to. It's sort of striking distance at the end. Jalen donovan mitchell. Seem to be one hundred percent. Do you think they can get him back. Healthy for pimple game five. I believe if he needed to go back into game could have put him back in the game health healthwise he'll be just fine. The thing i'm worried about as usage see you look at the stats sheet in. Utah may seventeenth threes. But how they're getting them in this series is it necessarily how they're got. They've got him during the regular season. And it's because they need spider mitchell to be outstanding because either they're behind and or they don't have currently and on the match ups just are more favorable to your best player on the perimeter. Because he's a guy that you could get the ball to go get a shot for him. Go get shot by everybody else. And they're gonna need my god join clarkston also big game. I anticipate the next game. That these two teams play. Jordan's gonna have a big game because his team is going to need it. That's why the sixth man of the year absolutely jalen very quickly. I want to talk to you about a story. The atlantic reported yesterday about luka doncic and serve the turmoil going on in the locker room in the front office with the dallas mavericks very quickly. Do you think that the mavs should be worried about luca staying long-term endow no because i like aaron rodgers. He went to the podium after they lost a playoff series and was asked a question after his book. Forty forty six and fourteen. Do you want to stay in dallas. And he says. I'm gonna resign. So there's no reason for dallas to worry now however the employees that allegedly doesn't get along with luca. We'll know the answer to this really quick. Because if he stays with the team. Luca resigns then. It goes against the article if luke re size and he gets fired. Its poorest article. The answer is going to be in front of it. And i'm sure mark cuban already heard what he needed to hear. And that's that luca plans return jalen. Who is joining us right. After this very short break jae crowder. This is a guy that played more defense in the previous game that i played in twenty years of organized basketball joining the show knicks. Watch judge stay tuned. Blue moon is on a mission to bring some brightness to your life. In break-up up your routine. I love blue moon beer so much when they pour it a draft blue moon. "That was the first game in the second game. Not as competitive. Not as interesting because it was. Another clipper game. Where kawhi leonard and paul. George showed up. Of course. i'm talking about for against the jazz. The clippers again fell down to in the series and now they find themselves again tied up. What was it about this performance that got them to even the series jazz. Gotta need to get my colleague bay but the main thing is when you're two star players in back to back playoff games each score thirty. That hasn't happened many times in the history of the nba play-off plan on their home. Floor always is great for me to watch win collide the size. The he's about to take over and everybody that's watching this year's playoffs. You know my favorite thing about the jacoby. It looks different like so many times. I'm watching nba basketball. And i'm seeing fire guys standing around three point line. Everybody jacking up the three soon as they get it and not working the game. I'll see chris. Paul work the game. I'll say it kuwa- leonard worked game. I'll say if pj tucker and jae crowder be tough physical defenders that are also knocking down threes. That looks different. It looks different in. It's refreshing and the other thing for the clippers. More three point shooting. He's always doing the have one of those games in the series where he makes like five gay unfortunately for the jazz that was in this game and rudy gobert see and favors is the defender on those. That's why you want to get him out there to spread the floor and take advantage of those guys. He did a terrific job of being production down. Mitchell played.

Trying to even the series against the seventy sixers seventy sixers started the game hot in the second half it was atlanta behind young in impact. Donna vision that got the wind. Chill what did you see from inside the building a town down. Not only that. The game i was at the game with my kids darius was in the house mariah was in house. And it was gracie's birthday and enjoying the beverages. And i was watching trae young bogdonovich put on a show in a difference in the two games that they've lost in this series versus the two games that they've one is the two games that they've won. Both roles guys have been putting in work and their backcourt did that in this game and also the pick and rolls that they were running against joel. Mvp i started to see fatigue in the big fella.
