"Life has an incredible way of giving us exactly what we need for me recently. That need that absolute desire was knowing that I had to move on that if I wanted to get my business. The business that I know is so incredibly important to me that if I wanted to get that business up. Running launched and really crushing it. I had to make some pretty serious decisions now. A lot of that decision came from the amazing program that I had attended over the last three days last week it was Kirwin raised nail. It and scale it man this program it rocked my freaking world. I don't say that lightly I've been exposed to a lot of stuff. Heck lot of you know. I've worked with the Tony Robbins Company. Hell I've been one of their master and platinum coaches. I've been one of Tony's business results trainers who takes what Tony shares in business mastery and trains it out to clients. I've seen some pretty awesome stuff out there and Kirwin stepped it up to that next level. He showed me what was possible. He got right into the weeds. He got really clear on what steps needed to be taken for me to actually take my business to take my business and scale it to the level that I've always wanted to. I started my business back in late. Two thousand fourteen officially incorporated it back in two thousand fifteen and it's been something that's kind of been one of those things that's been on the back burner. It's always been there. I've worked with people. I've had clients for many many many years and what I recognize. Is this Jamie. You're playing small. You've got to stop doing that Shit. And you've got to get into the place where you're actually making the real true impact that you need to make. This was a game changer. For me and Kirwan's program pushed me to do that. I'll tell you why because there was always something missing for me it was that exact strategy mindset mindset is critical and I'm never going to take away from mindset hell I do a whole program on mindset called the gospel of your mind but what this was all about for me is number one recognizing the actual bio mechanics the quantum mechanics string theory involved in y your body feels what it feels in the actual manifestation of creating a state of creating positively of actually creating that desire that desire for money to actually come to you yes. There is science based behind this. That was a big Game Changer. For me the other thing though is really getting into the weeds and understanding what had to be done. Current shared such practical knowledge with me that once I had seen it quite literally once I had seen I can never unsee it. It was something that was epic. It was game changing and I knew quite literally man. I can never go back. I can never keep doing the same thing over and over and over because I'm going to quickly recognize that I'm frustrated that I'm not happy that I'm dissatisfied in what I'm doing not GonNa take anything away from the Tony Robbins Company. It's been a great company to work with. I've met some amazing clients. It has been an absolute Russian. My Life for me to recognize my full true potential. My full absolute capacity. I had to step the faulk up. It was absolutely time for me to change shit up and that's what happened at two. Am last Friday morning. What's really cool about this? Is there was a challenge issued and it was that challenge. That really got me thinking outside. I had taken all this knowledge in. It was three days of intense pack knowledge. I'm sure you've all heard the saying out there. It's like drinking from the fire. Hose with Kirwin. There was no fucking hose. It was like drinking directly from the hydrant itself. This man he stepped up he served. He delivered the team. The team big show to the. Kt Team you guys fucking amazing. They stepped up. They made this event to never ever ever forget. Here's the best thing about it. It was all done virtual now. Who says that WHO becomes a raving fan off of a virtual summit? I'm sticking my hand up right now. I know you can't see me. But I'm sticking my hand up right now and saying fuck yes. I am an absolute raving fan of this virtual summit because it filled all the gaps for me it was that actual practical knowledge. I mean we went and we created e books. We created a full five video marketing sequence. That I'm in the process of putting up right now. We talked about the nurture email structure. Exactly how everything's gotTa work and guess what there's not a whole lot of selling their guys. This was a big takeaway. It's about the selling. It's truly about the serving. That's one of the big pieces that stuck out for me. Current didn't make it about the selling it all. It wasn't about selling it. As a matter of fact he said don't make it about selling. Remember that you are the prize. You're the one your the thing that people desire. Keep that in your mind just having that there. That was a complete total reframe for me because I got thinking like fuck. I am the prize. I have this shit ton of knowledge in my head and it's my duty. It's my absolute duty to get this out there to share it to go make a difference for the people that need this knowledge and to do it. I had to go full time. I had to really double down on my business. Because I'll be honest I was always telling myself those bullshit stories Jamie. You don't have the time right. You've got to deal with the robins clients. You've got to do this. You've got to do that. You just don't have the time to do all that shit Friday morning at two. Am THE GAUNTLET. Dropped quite literally. It was the change in everything. I stepped away from that certainty right that you know that that money. That's coming in and trust me. It wasn't a ton of money. Ray gave some certainty in in that aspect. What I did those. I got certain in myself. I wasn't holding onto all what was or what could be or. Oh I'M GONNA I'M GONNA have this money coming in. I recognize that I can do so much more on my own. My clients the clients that have worked with me for a long time. They've proven that to me. Why because they come back they see the massive value they take the massive foxing action and achieve their outcomes and achieve their results. I'm going to share this with you if you've ever thought about doing this on your own. I'M NOT GONNA say jump right in. I'm not going to jump right in but what I want to tell you to get really clear on the impact that you're about to have step into it really go to that place eliminate all that doesn't serve you. You can do this in your mind. Easily and effortlessly. Go to that place where you've already achieved all that you're setting out to achieve see it in your mind's eye and see how it resonates with you. What do you see? Where are you? Is it five years? Ten Years in the future is at one year in the future. Whatever it is. Go to that place where you now know that you've achieved everything you've ever wanted to achieve see it clear as faulk get it in your mind myself. When I did this exercise last Wednesday morning man I saw myself I would just finished speaking on stage. I walked off stage. My there's a frigging Red Ferrari outside go figure right. Red Ferrari but here I am. I opened the door. I noticed the texture of the leather. I could see the stitching. I can see the clarity. I could literally smell the smell of that car as I sat into it. I got right fucking clear on where my outcome was. And that led me to this place here. Now what am I doing with all this stuff? I've got some amazing programs coming out that I'm going to be sharing but before I even talk about that. I WANNA send out an invite. This is a partial invite but this is also a partial challenge in facebook. I've started a group of actually had the group for a while. It's called insiders elite. This is really truly an elite group of people. If you're looking to take on some of this knowledge if you're looking to get the inspiration if you WANNA call it that if you're looking to have some radical fucking accountability to achieve your outcomes and your goals if you need that final kick in the ass to get to that place where you know you need to be than you deserve to apply for this group. This is very much an application process. There are some questions that you'll have to answer to get in there because this group is all about radical accountability every single week. There are challenges. And you are expected to participate. Get this group isn't for everyone for those people who want to sit back and chill and just see what everyone else does. That's not what it's about. This is about stepping the fuck up and helping each other out stepping the fuck up and declaring what it is that you're now about to step into something magical happens when you do that when you actually declare it and you make it real you get that shit done. This is impactful. This is important and this might just be the exact kick in the ASS that you've been waiting for that you've needed to get your project to get your passion project out there. I want to challenge people. If you're up for the challenge if you're up for the task step up and do it get into that place. Go apply for the Group. It is outstanding and it will quite literally. Change Your Life. My life changing decision was to get on my path. My life changing decision was to absolutely believe in myself to get totally certain on my outcomes. My desires my passions and bring that shit to life. Why because sitting in my head? It's not doing any good getting it out to each and every one of you making a difference in your lives is exactly what needs to happen with this knowledge. Stay tuned. I'm going to be hearing more about this in the upcoming editions of the Jaime J. Podcast.

"And that happens? That happens a lot that happens on both the bank side and the broker side. So that's something that you really gotta watch out for because everybody talked to was gonna come out and tell you that they've got your best interests in mind and but there's very few that really actually do take the time and actually really really do care and will like I don't even I don't even think about what our compensation is were like. What can we do. What is going to be the best products For this particular client at this particular time because we're not into just I'm not interested in just earning this person's business this one time. I want to earn it for life and I want to build trust with that person and I want them to to feel comfortable with me and feel comfortable dealing with my team that they know that they're going to get the rate advice. Like I climbed. Call me last night and I took the call and they wanted to look at switching. There were paying three plus percent on their mortgage but in particular situation It did not make sense for them to make any move. He really really wanted to leave his bank but I advised him to stay there for now. It does not make sense as I would. I would love to earn a commission off them right now but it doesn't make any sense. It's not in his best interest for him to make a move so and I advise people that all the time like I said we WANNA build. We want to build our clients for life. We're not just interested in earning someone's business. This one time around. There are times when mostly no you should go to this laundry. She go to that wonder and things that we don't have access to some cases will be like you know what I would just go back and talk to your bank because I think your bank will be able to put you in a better position than one way. We'll be able to do for you right now. So it's all about giving people the right vice and that can be very hard to find Somebody Somebody who will who will actually have that much care towards their clients. That is very very valuable and I thank you for sharing. That and I can see watching you hear share that answer that real true passion coming behind it to make sure that your clients are taken care of even if it means. Hey you know what I'd love to have your business but it doesn't make good sense to make that switch right now now on a shift gears for a second. I want to be respectful of your time but the one question that comes up that I'm curious about season. Two million dollar listing my brother. What was it like to be on? Tv It was Season two million dollar agent million dollar listing is the American version. Is God any? I mean it was great. It was It was a great experience and and Or Shia yet. You have fine. I'm just kind of doing what I do best. And that's giving people mortgage advice on the show and I remember I think it was There was a bunch of episodes that we shot from from my boat and I remember one day. We were shooting a bunch of episodes in one day and are a bunch of scenes with me in one day night to take my over another marine at I tried to think it over the night before you all rested everything you know. Be Ready to go in the morning. We encountered the worst rainstorm. That that We've ever encountered heading overs. We had turned back. And we're supposed to start shooting at nine o'clock in the morning and it was about an hour and a half boat ride where I had to go so we had to get up like super early head over and her all stressed out by the time we got there so you know I just had to relax inn confu deep rats and and get ready to shoot the show for for when the crew showed up but for now is a little challenging but for the most part inside shooting. That was a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun being on the show. A A lotta great guys and and a lot of great people on that show and and It was it was great to be able to To be on national. Tv M doing what I do best and it's Xm curious what impacted being on that show on Your Business and your and your brain an annual your performance spis your your mortgage broker businesses. Excellent question and being on a show like that is not something that is going to. It's all your phone will start ringing off the hook from England that show and I knew that going in because people see you as the guy on TV they don't necessarily think that you're attainable That they can just simply call pick up the phone and call you or Google. Search Your name and get you on the phone or get get you get an email back. relatively quickly and sometimes even instantly often instantly So a lot of people. I don't necessarily think that what it does is it builds It gives me a lot of credibility. I think people like to deal with the guy who they saw on TV. And it's on our website that you know. I'm I'm on this show. People know people know him So between that and the book I think that helps to weap- -sition me as an expert in the industry that's outstanding now. Of course we want to know how we can get a hold of you how we can get in touch with you or your team. And where can I get your book? Why don't you share that information with US right now? "The past contentious some amazing lessons if we're not paying attention to that if we're not really listening and listening to those clues listening to what the past has around us. Men were missing out on an incredible opportunity opportunities. Hey I'm the opportunity guy after all and what I seek out and what I look for is opportunities most importantly opportunities to learn from. Maybe what I've done before that no longer serves right now. Our past has some key key lessons that we can learn from it and as we're learning what we've also got to do is remember not to live in the past. We all know that the past doesn't equal the future but the past is meant for us to learn from for us to gain knowledge for us to seek out the higher meaning the higher importance the higher learnings that it offers us. That's really what the past four. It's not to sit and commiserate and get stuck in those negative feelings those negative emotions or those negative thoughts. It's really to take a look at it and say okay. What did I do that? Maybe didn't work out as well as it should. There's that word and I hate using that word but let's take a look at it. What maybe didn't work out the way it should. What's going to work out the way that it must? The past gives us those clues the passed tunes us in to all that amazing knowledge. And if we're listening for it if we're being careful not to judge ourselves if we're listening to the past and making sure that we're getting the absolute most out of it than we have won the past when utilized properly the past when double down on an information extracted out of it when we take all the amazingness and we get to move forward. That's when we really win the past. Isn't that place for looking for all the things that we did wrong so that we can beat ourselves up. No that's not what it's all about at all. The past gives us clues. The past gives us all those amazing clues and we have to be those people we have to get that curiosity on we have to get that. Curiosity mindset onto say. Okay what can I do? It's even more impactful. That's going to leave a bigger difference. That's going to make an even bigger impact. That's what the past is so great for so many people they wanna live in that place. They want to look in that place of all. That's gone wrong and all that's happened to them. Stop doing that Shit. Stop being in that place where you're looking at the past to lead you forward. That doesn't help and that doesn't get you what you want. The past is there to guide us. Forward don't live in the past. The future is what's ahead where we can live though is right now. So one of the things that we've got always remember too is that we've got to remember to take care of our mental mindset. We've got to take care of our physical health. We've to make sure that we're on top of it you know we've got this virus going on right now and many people might even to the Kroto and virus but really what's going on right now. Is that when we've built that physical health when we've taken care of that physical health along with our mental health when we've got that locked down we're able to put up with stuff like this not just put up with it but absolutely thrive in these times? This is the world giving us a challenge. This is that world giving us that challenge to see if we're really up for it. The only way to do that is along with taking care of that mental mental toolbox. That you've got upstairs is to also take care of that physical body. It is mental emotional spiritual. We've got to bring it all into that and we've got to take care of ourselves. The most important thing that we can do is ensure that we're in a place a space in a time where we are healthy. Take care of yourself as well find the extra space the extra time to really focusing on your body. Yeah a lot of us. We don't have the gym right now. We don't have a lot of that stuff going on right now and you know what that's okay because ultimately we can find the things that we can get out. We can go for those walks. We can engage our physical bodies as long as we're taking some sort of action in order to achieve our ultimate outcome. What we're doing. It is mental. There's that mental aspect of it. Yes we have to tell ourselves that word. We have to use that Gospel in our mind. That says yes you can do it. You can get out. You don't have to restrict yourself into those four walls and as long as you do that as long as you're engaging your body you're building up dot strength within to be able to take on anything anytime anywhere virus or no virus. We've got this without your health. You've got nothing. That health is absolutely everything above and beyond mindset above and beyond everything. Health is the most important thing. Take care of your body. Take that time to respect your body because your body is your temple. Take that time to figure out what's really working for you. If you're finding that you've got those couple extra pounds on maybe now with all the extra time you've got you've got some extra time to go ahead and get out for those walks. Due to sit ups do push ups do something. That's creating that health in your life. Health is the most important thing you have. Don't think of it as something little. Think of it as the most important thing. Look at these people on their bikes amazing. They're taking care of their health looking them. All that is outstanding. And that's what we're looking to do there even practicing a little bit of social distancing there. It's absolutely amazing. Look health is it. Health is where it's at get that mindset around that get comfortable with health get comfortable with doing those push ups sit ups those even just don't squats whatever. It is. Take that time to incorporate that into your life now that you've got that extra time don't let the virus win. So how do you deal with change in your life? Changes happening all around us. Is it a big thing? Some of US can get confused with it and it can be something that hey it can. Pop Up is a really big challenge. Change you be scary. Change can be something that we don't want to accept because it's simply too much. Here's the thing with change. When we apply small little steps we take small little pieces of action towards an outcome we ultimately end up at that ultimate destination and change. The comes easy when you think of changes is great big thing like hey. We've all heard that saying. How do you eat an elephant? One Bite at a time changes a lot like that change. When taken in small little micro elements in micro pieces becomes really easy to do. If I just do one thing different maybe do a little bit of a two percent difference or something like that. I just make one small. Little effort forward and change becomes really easy. Change me something. I look forward to because I get to grow from that. I get to experience all the beauty. That is that change. Change is something to be excited to that is my mindset. My mindset around change is excitement. I've linked that up because I've done it so many times. Change is a beautiful beautiful thing and it starts with just one action doesn't have to be a big action if it's something humongous you're not. GonNa do it because it's going to step you way too far out of that comfort zone. What we're looking to do here is find the micro steps that you can take if you wanted to adopt a new practice into your life. Maybe it's first of all finding where you've got to go do that what you could do. I was just speaking about exercise. I was talking about exercise doing something like that. Maybe that's a change in your life. Maybe all you have to figure out is. Hey what's one thing I can do? What's one simple little practice that I can put into place so that I can adopt change and really own it and really get comfortable with it day. One maybe I start with. I'm going to do ten sit-ups no big deal right it's small. It's simple it's little. That's what we want with change. That's how we want to take change on in small little bits and pieces maybe day two. Okay I'M GONNA do those ten sit-ups again and you know what I'm GonNa add ten pushups into it wou- we're changing our structure. Were changing what we're doing by making those small little micro adjustments this. Isn't that great big macro picture and we don't ever want.

"For me as a coach about the we all have a purpose and passion. It would be helping those affected to rediscover a reignite what it is that they're here to do in the world and get them to go and do it. I think for me. I think businesses now I think some businesses always got the business For some airlines. Maybe we didn't have the nicest Jorda sometimes and now I feel like everything is going to go back to service. I'm being kind being a little bit. Nicer. And people are gonNA WANNA only work with those businesses. That are offering. That's a really good point. I think in general you're going to see either falling off of business because they're not willing to innovate and they just go away. You've also got the baby boomer generation which is retiring and they're not typically downloading their business to their sons and daughters. They don't really want to be a part of it. It's hard to sell so I think there's going to be in general just a ton of opportunity in a lot of industries air-traffic and airlines being one of them because people are going to crave human connection more and more as we socially distance ourselves permanently. Because like somebody said it's good for the bottom line. People in organizations are gonNA realize to get rid of the commercial. Space DOWNSIZED WORKER. Mostly so work retreats workshops weekends away hotels tourist towns. I think are going to boom an air travel. In general is one of the number one lead indicators of growth because it's very connected to human race growth and if we do. Have a resurgence if we do have more people don't forget you've got almost two billion people coming into the middle class this decade alone between Asia South no Latin America India and those people want to travel. They've got money. They WANNA travel. So I'm actually have positions in airlines right now. It looks like a black back because it is and when the Dust Settles Bailey. I think service is going to be huge. I think I think because consumers now have true choice and they can be pickier with their dollars that the operators that were allowed to kind of get through in Slough off not really focused on client experience. I think they're going to dry up and go away hear hear absolutely one of the biggest opportunities that I think right now in this in. This might be a little bit counterintuitive but I see it as an opportunity for businesses to maybe slightly step out of their Swim Lane. And go do something. That's really truly socially responsible to build brand equity by doing something radical by really truly going and making that difference by finding the opportunities right now to really give back in some way shape or form through time through effort through funding support. Whatever it is to maybe step out of that swim lane to really show that good all these companies that have these amazing slogans and logos of how we give back in how important our customers are. Maybe this is the time to really double down on that and instead of shying away from step up and go make that difference. The impact of that is going to be huge. We're going to remember right. We're going to remember those businesses that have really taken opportunity to step up step out and maybe do something outside a little bit to give back. Right Bailey. You started out with sharing. Hey you're gonNA give some of that hand sanitizer away. No cost nothing. You want to give it away people who need it the most. That's amazing right. That's a big difference. That's new being in your town. I mean yes you I guess you could sell it in the store say it was going to be one of those main brands. That would be something that is out of the swim lane yet at the same time. It's really giving back. That's social responsibility that I talk about a lot that that's a massive opportunity. Sweet Awkward Silence Admiration for a good looking man so under an hour so many beats times. We say our goodbyes were. I think we've had a good run at this. I'm bloomfield last improvements to have spent an hour of my life with some really good people and think that we have shared some incredible talents and gifts and some wisdom there and if I trust and hope that people will view are what this at a later date and we share it at the heck grade out of it so last words any and all of us maybe not your very last words but today on the program for me. It's thanks very much for energy. And the time and and thoughts and people watching think about what was people who did business with need and make that happen. Innovate as office inch. Thanks very much appreciate it. Run AND DWAYNE. Yes it will be sharing. It will be on facebook and it will be on Youtube. So everyone on the panel. Here will be able to Cherry on Youtube. Facetime your instagram facebook on here for you thank you. Yeah maybe one or learn now. I just want to thank you very for the time people out there. DoN'T FREAK OUT. This too shall pass. If you look back and six weeks six months six years you're gonNA remember half of the way you feel today look longer term. Don't make decisions out of pure motion. Make sure to take some time reflecting spend time with your family. Take this opportunity and shake that ass. Yes absolutely I WANNA thank you. Everyone for coming on today. It was really last minute. I mean this came up just yesterday. It was one of those total spur of the moment and the fact that everyone made the time. I WANNA honestly thank. You sincerely. Thank you from my heart. That is incredible. It really is a beautiful light that we have much like the song and I wanNA celebrate that all that anyone got out of this was just that one or two ideas of how to innovate of how to grow of how to change most importantly to be socially responsible. Make that impact than everyone here. We've done our job so I thank you that what did I tell you? It was a long one. No doubt about it whatsoever. Thank you so much for tuning in today. "No question opportunity every single thing. I must have said that word about twenty times now in this but that's really what it is right one of those questions. I ask myself all the time is what's the opportunity here right now right. That has become one of those standard definite definition questions. And no matter what's going on I'm priming myself to go and find go and seek out that opportunity whether to help to make an impact to change someone's life to help someone's business whatever it is when we focus in on that when we have that opportunity with our families. We've got that extra time to really connect and really communicate. My Gosh. I think some amazing things are going to happen. Rule YEARS USING TECHNOLOGY. Or are we a electrically to we using zoom more using things or are you picking up the the old fashioned rotary dial phone in connecting via phone? What are you using to connect to those people that are important to you in a business museum effeminate at we have a couple of already have full people at work remotely. So we've had some amazing people come to work for business and we didn't want his business so we set up the people where we lose the business and I left. Hand went somewhere else. We actually have people that work remotely. So we've been using zoom and we use it not as more and more. I've written with my coaching and helping businesses of that into the contract business meetings and the boys instead of all the fine on a I think as Phoolan. We'll use that more more than what you know making plans nail. You've been things happen to be at the office worker to avoid that congregating people even though with service contractors in the community and aunt in the world working people just to reduce that Code Gatien of people out at one place so will then set up soon for morning meetings and things like that as we got more more using zoom in and my kids. Use them to talk to grandparents and goal squawk but one of the menu to their grandparents and stuff. So I think that'll happen more more times. A little bit in Alabama been happening more and more and more over the next weeks and months we zoom facetime and from a cell phone phone family and make time for that or France. Facetime definitely link myself. I use whatever means possible whether it's Facebook Messenger facebook chat. I'll get onto WHATSAPP zooms. Big One for me as well noticed. Notice what's happening here John. You're thinking by Zoom Bison but really. It is one of the big ones well when I'm doing those conferences with clients. With all that yeah. I'm hopping onto zoom me. I like to be. I like to be as as mobile friendly as possible and I can't stand long distance charges so I'll let my clients because of course I I know him. Work all over the world mic. When I talk we use skype my Williams make voice or whatnot but I'm good for any of those opportunities. Whatever it is it doesn't matter what it is whatever's GonNa work. Hey we want to be able to is the technology. Is there a big fan of it? I love it. It makes my life simpler suicide crisis. This has this made your family closer. I Bailey had said that. She believed that. I'm paraphrasing the main. Her family closer. Anyone else I'll say it has for me. I noticed that I'm calling my mom a lot more. She's not all that far away or whatnot. I don't I don't go visit her. She's in her seventies and stuff and you know God forbid that I did pick something up. I wouldn't want to do that but I noticed that I am on the phone with her a lot. More talking to her a lot more making sure that she's okay. Is there anything I can help her with? She needed me to get groceries or whatnot. She's completely capable of doing it herself. But in the off chance she didn't want to get out Yeah we're connecting more Steph and we've got some more time and stuff too so we're spending time together and stuff which is really great not a whole lot. We can do but even even bike riding. I think it was Monday. I went out for great little bike. Ride hadn't gone in a long time. I went up to Walnut Grove. Which is kind of North Langley area and road through there? And it's been years since I've been through there and it got me to reconnect with old myself. And I was able to introduce Steph into that area to which was which was also really nice and I think for me. Even my immediate family lock sitting down having conversations about what we're going to do and will explain that to your kids and really connecting sitting around into Stephen connected with immediate family has changed a bit. Look we're not all slashing here so it hasn't caught and still was in mental skills operational. So it's not quite as Following his America like I said but even just seeing having those conversations with the Kingston stuff about what's going on there so it has helped and connected a little bit more to show excellent. I've definitely noticed. Not so much me I. I typically tend to be the one who reaches out and prompts people and I've noticed in the last couple of weeks. A lot of people have started to prompt me. And Call Me. And it's been it's been a nice reciprocity because it makes you feel important. It makes you feel special. Things are people are thinking about you. So it's been good excellent. I've a question for the group what what does Age of US think is the single biggest opportunity from business. Moving forward massive industries going to be collapsing in halons and tourism. And things like that. But what you see is the biggest opportunity for business guy.

"I like. What now now I'm very extroverted in love being around people and I don't want him social distance but I'm just laughing that like what I grew up doing was shamed. Now it's promoted as the solution crate. Things going. Funny say the everybody was especially in regional. I ever wants to move to the cities and the cities. Everyone's in love shops is shutting down and out here and regional Sort of sitting on top similar. Well Issue Job Change People's not realize that maybe there's actually not such a ice to to live off a couple of flying plant workers and I said I think Bid Cipher. It is less. Let's I like less. That's gone on ours. Could catch the vars well. The cities and living on the college south financial sitting back outside that off role. Titans in Australia right now. My seven forty twenty night. Thank you for giving up the break. Nearly for is on a Saturday morning. It's more pleasure. We cannot save some people out of this and get some volumes with every minute was worth every minute just amazing people absolutely awesome likewise it is opportunity it is a positive mindset. That's going to get us through all of this ultimately when we train ourselves and we practice it over and over and over we choose not to focus in on all the doom and gloom and all the negativity but maybe where we can simply go and contribute where we can take just a little bit of our time a little bit of our money from our business a little bit of our effort and put it towards that greater good to serve that greater purpose. Maybe then we've actually met our purpose in life. Maybe that's what it's all about like you say neal rate life doesn't happen to us. It happens for us. Perhaps this moment. This time is our time that we can give back that we can go fulfill our destinies in what we were brought here for. Now that's opportunity at the maximum. Can't forget to mention how the world is doing so much better lake earthwise with factories in everything shutting down and all the carbon off gassing and everything so it's nice to see that I think you'd bonus so we're all GonNa hit are twenty fifty commissioner emission reduction in six months. Yeah A it is it is. It is truly amazing and I heard something the other day someone was sharing with me. That an and gosh. I can't remember the location place but the dolphins had actually come back somewhere. Where right leaving ord there for the longest time gas pollution boats all that sort of stuff and now. The dolphins are coming back right. I think this is a recalibration. I think this is a little bit of that. Really everything is going to be changed from this moment forward and for those of us who are embracing it right for those of us who are finding the opportunity in those moments who truly embracing it. We're the ones that we're to go on to succeed right. We'll succeed in a socially responsible way. Not trying to profit off this time but genuinely genuinely helping and I think he's made a slowdown as a whole community. And I think it's like you talked about all the divorces but it's actually making my family better because I'm around more present and my family lives at a town. I'm talking to them every day multiple times a day. So I think if Were creating nights unity within your friends. 'cause I'm reaching out a lot more friends than I would during a busy day. Just see if there can. I have one friend every evening at seven o'clock that calls me just to check-in date was so I think things like that are huge? The only thing I think John I think John would a wanted those two by zoom we would've bought zoom and we talked about it off line. Toilet paper Yes. We did see the the landscape changed. I is about selling coffee shops. For example and with the reduced numbers and Reduced Amana. People may be going to the office even longtime it must the welcome back to normal mobile and everyone's Dosso commerce business starter returned to usual. Wls numbers less people because more people will still be working from home. So what does the coffee shop do they innovate? What'd they w suburban? Oh my coffee shops to set up in suburbia guy with a lot of people at work from home gone up coffee van and go round and these sorts of things I think just to change the landscape of the Business Montano Kofi. Yup will sell it to people out there longer. So we're all there in the suburbs now where there's no coffee shops. So let's set up. Something atanasov absurd that the people that do work from people can access. They still could go have a coffee and laterally coast off like that would normally do in the city and create an experience for the Heisman dies. Lots of innovations in business will really change the landscape. that city environment specifically specifically that city environment. I think because it will reduce the number of people in and more people in the suburbs and Stafan and as the businesses that adapt and shift to that with the ones that will really succeed in the recovery phase and count for the next year or two absolutely that creates big opportunities. You're talking about the coffee. What it what it gave me a flashback to. Is You know years ago when we were having the wars and stuff. Everyone was getting shipped out to where they were. Well Tim Hortons was also getting shipped on his well. The KADIAN coffee chain here rather big chain in Canada and yeah they would ship out those trailers those ready to go trailers so no matter where it was boom. You could still have your Tim Hortons. This creates an opportunity number one right. Maybe instead of tiny home some of these people start taking those trailer chassis and they start moving into you. Know I- into these mobile shops these-these food trucks or something. Maybe it is looking at something like that. Maybe it's recognizing we have to review our permanent whatnot and do it different. We've got a comment here from Erica. Morrison here nine months or a little bit of that growing on as well. No question a it's constantly when the atomic time with your family exactly and are thinking. That's a pretty good consequence as long as we're allowed to hug him though. I don't know there's some rude. Facebook memes that basically say that you know if you're one of those toilet paper hoarders maybe you shouldn't be procreating. A lot of material for COMEDIANS. Going feel is facebook or instagram. I love that a lot of the. The big stars are doing free free concerts. They're just doing their live concerts in their home John Legend and pink. And they just did they hooked it up to the their instagram account. And just saying Chris Hayes. He did it was taking requests. He had the guitar he had the piano and he was making requests and I was like this is amazing this morning. We just sat there and watched. It is beautiful. That's amazing. That's that's incredible. I think that's really what it's all about giving back swift and Jamie you always say to me. How do you bring value right though? These people are bringing value to us. And I think that's something we have to think about how to give back and how to bring value and I think that will help sustain with our businesses and with moving forward where we where we end up in this mixture earlier. Point about how you said like afterwards. How does this change? How does it look? You know you got to adapt and have suburban. Coffee shops in the ice cream truck comes back in a big way. Now you know not not just bellybutton high pants for girls but the ice cream trucks gonNA come back. You're going to see a renaissance. It changes a lot of things. I think this is a really good opportunity for people to take a minute and ask themselves i. K- what have I been putting on the back burner that I keep making excuses for what? What do I really want to? I want to move. Don't WanNa work on my relationship to. I WANNA start a new career to want to go to school like now's the time you know. Everybody waits 'til January first while January first is here so take time. Think about it and let this be the kick in the butt if you need one to get started because I think when you guys mentioned people have a lot more time now and they can reflect and much more connected and I think this gives people an opportunity to look backwards and say wow. I was kind of scared. I feared for my life and I recognize that. What's really important in? This moment is not what I had chasing or not what I thought and Luhya. Yeah I saw somebody put a facebook post out there a couple of days ago and they said like what are you grateful for? By the time I had read it. There was like thirty five comments and all of them said family one every single one of them since I was the one that said business and stock opportunities but it was. It was number three on the wrist found found. We still number one but won't be a week or self distancing well asking three weeks would work. Yeah you might. You might find toilet. Paper is the most important and it. Even that is an interesting conversation because right now there's certain things that are important but some families aren't used to being together for this long and the that dynamic like the people in abusive relationships now that they're tied into it. How do we have the social network to be able to to support them? And I think that's going to be apparent that we may or may not have it and if we don't have it I think that will change two two uplifting bring us to create this social network so that we can support those people.

"And when did you shit ship from God? This is terrible to this is an opportunity. Was there a defining moment for you or is it just that you have been this positive person that drives all your friends and family nuts because you have this argument of attitude or is there a defining moment where you anyone. WanNa go first. I'll jump in because it was very black and white. I woke up Sunday morning about a week two weeks ago and I realized that Saudi Arabia and Russia started oil war with each other and I'm from Alberta Canada one of the oil capitals of the world and I woke up and the first word I said is not something I can say right now and then the second said was like yes. There's going to be so much pain and so much opportunity. This is ridiculous. I can't believe this through anyone else. I didn't have quite as a process that I referred is in makes us begin that changing all of this and they you know now gatherings and it wasn't until I got the emails for my Kids Sports Segma- Bangle you kids sports. I come home and tell the kids. That's nice board and I said something about Trading exercise doing activities with the kids got a Bush walking intellectual and I thought now is the time to make the best opportunity just to me a bit doing different things with the kids gone bark rotting in the Bush and stuff and yes. If there's so much opportunity why are we worried about this? Let's put some things in place yet. We need to do that. Shit but look it up. Holy Crap this is a chance to do something different. That was sort of a little bit of time but it wasn't until I really impacted me personally. Haw DAMMIT LOWS. I think for me. It was basically Wednesday when most of the bars and restaurants shut down and then we decided to close our store. Thank that was a very difficult. Dark debut left early and I thought what am I gonNA do so for a stayed home for about the first two hours and then it ran out of things to do. Because I'm a person that always needs to be busy and from there. I decided I have to get up. I still have to have a routine. I have to keep learning some taking other now and I just need to be the person that all the plays that I still out. Look forward to and to one little small thing. We started doing this morning in my really good friend to me. She said rate now. Don't think about it. You're sitting semi two pitchers. What makes you happy? And that's what we did and I started it with all my friends. My family. My sister is a nurse in Toronto. One of the biggest hospital. She's the second screener and she sent me some turtles on her desk at her calendar of her kids. But just those little small things if you look around the room you're in for me. It was my two dogs. My husband and I'm not GonNa lie with Peleton happy. It was like everything everybody was here and dogs are still happy having home. My husband hardly ever sees me so I'm just going to enjoy it and I'M GONNA to take it for what it is. You never get a break like this actually enjoy your family or the people that mean the most you jamie. We haven't heard from you know I was perfectly waiting till the end. Because here's Jamie Mr positively that guy that's always there. I did have a moment. I actually had a moment on this last Monday. Here You know. I'm looking for the opportunity. I'm finding it everything's going great and then Monday came around and it was the news. Yes I'm GonNa admit it came from the news my wife Steph. She got reading some stuff out there. I'm like wow you know. We need to do a little bit. Better job of being proactive on supplies that we have here right so it was. You know maybe instead of having to three cans of beans downstairs. We wish to have six right. We weren't looking to do a bunch of hoarding. And for just a moment you know I went that little scarcity I went into that little mindset of Megani. I'm going to take care of myself and I recognize now. We don't need to hoard. We don't need to do anything like that. What I really have to do in this moment is give back. Even more is to be able to look for opportunities for some of these mom and pop shops mic. I saw one of your posts that you put out there. You shared a post about how many businesses. We're going to close because of this and I see this as you know are all of us in. This group are social responsibility to be able to work with other people there to share their business. We don't WanNA see these businesses. Go to business. We don't right. We rely on them every day. Even though we can't necessarily go there and sit down and have that sit down meal. Maybe sometimes once a week twice a week maybe we do need to think about that. Takeout or something along those lines to keep those businesses going to do our part and at the same time everyone else. No I put out a couple posts on social media. I WANNA know who's People's what business they have. I WANNA know if there's a way that I can give back if I can talk about them. Cher what they do share a little bit about their service or whatever it is maybe they come on a show with us. Maybe we start something where we have a show where the panel and we bring some of these businesses on to be able to share their product. Their service whatever. It is to do our part that way to really bring some recognition to them. I don't know but those are the thoughts and that's the ideas that changed me from scarcity. Oh my God I've gotta go stock up to one of optimism to one of finding the opportunity in the moment for me on the eternal voyeur. I liked to sit back and look at people and figure out and it could have been last weekend. My wife were. Tina was on workshops of time by myself to sit in and and being my own thoughts and so many of my friends were scared petrified because they cause I were living Calgary. Alberta and a lot of oil companies are head office in Calgary Alberta and they were scared because they were losing their jobs of personnel. After person after person and all I could think about is how can I support them and I realized all I can be is the calm in the storm and it was that clarity which was part of the impudence to have us get together with. I need to change my thought pattern to be the calm but also being able to say that there is an opportunity in everything in every in every tragedy. There's always an opportunity could be a learning opportunity a development opportunity. But there's always something and it was at that point in time that I realized that this when I changed my thought process and recognize that. This isn't happening to me but rather it's happening for me. It changes when I recognize that. It's happening for me. So how can I do something different? How can I change my thought patterns? How can I get if I'm complained? I now have time if I'm complaining about getting overweight or not eating healthy now is the time when I have the time to to to get now fake to look after myself looking different things looking parts of me that I'm afraid to look at and sometimes that's just a call to Jamie that's all it is isn't it. Yeah I think all those calls. Jamie let me tell you what you serve and that's one of my ways of giving back to because I know there's a lot of people in in there is that scarcity mindset going out there but if I can donate thirty minutes my time I can donate forty five minutes my time to get on a call and make a difference in a person's life. I WANNA do that. I believe for me. I believe I'm a very high altruistic person the diskin values profile and I come out. Altruistic is through the roof. It's about eighty seven. Eighty nine like it's insane. What that means is it. I truly have a passionate desire to help others and see that so when I see people suffering. I just want to give that big hug although I know I'm not allowed to right now in virtual virtual but if it's even just getting on that phone and finding those opportunities in a moment getting one two maybe three tools of how to change what's going on and I can feel good. They can feel good. And that's what's really important to me right. I I I love to give back Hallelujah. Random thoughts that they want to throw in here. Where about forty minutes yes. I can't believe that my entire youth I was alone or close twelve or thirteen and I was ridiculed and ostracised and now it's the cure to kill the virus so this is the answer.

I'm from Calgary and we've got guests from and the in the mountain time we've got people in Pacific Time and we have a guest for low land down under Michael's with us and we'll get some introductions later but we're here to talk about picking up your life in this terrible time this terrible like there's nothing we can do about. What's going on the only thing that I have control over is my attitude and so recognizing that it's my attitude that can control how I see the world. I am choosing to be positive. So Neil thrust we'll hear from Calgary Alberta Jamie who are you? Where are you neil? Thank you so much. Money was Jimmy Adam Chuck. I'm with you e coaching. I share my time between Vancouver British Columbia and Carson City Nevada on occasion. And sometimes you can even find me down in Florida. I'm here today. This all came about because you and I kneel. We had a quick little text discussion just on tax. It's like hey we should do a facebook live and you kind of question me a little bit. You know what's your thoughts like man? There is opportunity out there. There's so much opportunity and I'm not talking about capitalizing. I'm talking about shifting the narrative from all the doom and gloom to really seeing the positive really changing that mindset. So we're not going down that rabbit hole we're climbing out of it into the beautiful sunshine. That of course involve evolved into the rest of our amazing guests. That we've since Bailey since you're right on below me. I'd like to welcome you in Bailey. Tell us all about yourself. Thanks Jamie so I'm daily to open from Prince George British Columbia and I am to businesses. I have a home Decor Star. Which is called theory at home and I also have an interior design. Business had theory for eight and a half years now in the design business for twelve and Intel. This week I had employed nine people which I had to lay off most of them. I we're GONNA be okay with all of that and I'm going to wait a little bit more. Our kind of coping through that awesome. Thank you so much for that Bailey. Mc Mc Scott me he's right are blowing my screen. You're random below base all pick on you next nick. Welcome thanks my boss. GonNa Sam Day on from analyst Queensland Dan in Australia and when jiving message Vanson High. We've been chatting this week opportunities and business opportunities in the world at the moment and it will things that are going on. He said George Nicole and laurels yes perfect On 'em you said changing narrative on something that I've been now China now I've businesses and I'll have a contractor business reasonable. Saw his contract business. We have a bad seventy five employees and also do business. Coaching through awaken business while the business side and and that's where all the small businesses Terada China's M. onset really really don't and business and take advantage of the opportunities out there in the world side on pop to get started and folk metal. They will charities on all guys recent stuff. Hey we will be doing at the moment and we're pretty lucky where we haven't had a touched this yet but economically obviously has say. Thanks very much outstanding. Thank you so much John. My brother John. Ross near you our last but certainly certainly not least welcome on. Give us your bio introduce yourself my brother. Yeah my name is John. Ross from amendments in Alberta Canada. I've got a construction contracting business. And also wealth education business which also does investments and things like that my biggest passion is just redefining how we view wealth and inspiring other people to take advantage of that and create their own financial freedom creek thrown wife on their terms and I have literally been vibrating. The last week with all the opportunity. That's going around. It is absolutely unbelievable. And if I'm here to tell people that if you're waiting for the government to save you better waiting you gotTa Save Yourself. It is not going to happen. You're inside your house. Good recording teed. Now's the time to take some time. You're forced to sit at home. You're forced to be at employed. Take this opportunity figure out something else. It is unbelievable. The greatest fortunes in the world were built in the worst times. The point of maximum opportunity is the point of maximum pessimism. And we're almost there. I don't think we're quite there. But we're almost there Hallelujah. Brother everyone on this call ins under the panel here. Is you're preaching to the choir. We are all one hundred percent in that. It's what we do. Is it like every tragedy and it's a travesty here in upon us. What are we going to do and I for me? The first mind ship was is that this is not happening to me. This is happening for me so that I can learn and do it so it's freed up tons of time. I wouldn't normally be able to do this. Call at this time with Jamie but also like life has it. We now have the time. So we're capitalizing. We're getting together and we're working with community and unloving it so thank you all for being on the call and thank you panel for being here. Thank you very definitely key. Today is opportunity right and I think each each of you aren't panel here Bailey mic John. You've got some Opportunities Bailey. I had the opportunity to speak with you a little bit earlier and I'm excited. You shared something really cool with with what you're about to do and I'd love for you to share that here so that you know the entire world the good old. Www world out there that seeing us on social media has an understanding of what your boat to do soap. Share that with us. Please packing small. That came to me this morning because I do have a brick and mortar store and we are small business. We have closed our doors because we didn't WANNA pay humor plays in harm's way around luxury man so unfortunately right now not getting as many sales as we would like so. We did have an order that has shipped out from another local company. Another small business called Cape. Your natural and she started making hand sanitizer and I have forty even arriving on Monday. I already had people that were wanting to buy them but I just decided to give them all for free if you are elderly. You don't bottle on. My husband is religious. It's not super busy right now. Either and we're just GONNA drive around and we're GONNA leave them off people's Square steps and we'd advocate Match more bottles in hand coming in long as it supplies from come across the border from the US. We'll just keep doing it. And I've talked to other small businesses and companies instead. I can't afford to keep buying because I'm still buying not selling it to their now on board if we can get as much as we can and it's kind of like community coming together and showing what we can do. That is amazing. That's what it's all about you taking this opportunity remember. It's all about opportunity and making something amazing out of it. Sure you could do like so. Many others aren't put it on Amazon and market up ten times. But I think that's not the right thing to do people that do that. That are looking to. There's an Elton an offer a second there we've seen people that are looking to make that quick buck and you're doing quite the opposite. You're costing the company some money by bringing this by by having this happened yet at the same time you're making such an impact giving this to those people who need it being able to give it away free number one. How does that make you feel as an entrepreneur as a business owner to be able to do something big and love to hear it makes me feel really good? I rely a hundred percent on our community giving back to APPS for us to be able to open our doors and Pale verse. So there's little small things that we can do. And why Whitney absolutely the best way for people to get a hold you say I am an older person or whatnot and I needed to get some. How can I get a hold that say? Hey you know what I'd I'd love to get all of that. I'd love to be able to use. How can they do that? Avid completely say to me probably either on facebook or instagram. And we're theory harder and if you WANNA get a hold of it that way or you can even find me personally Bailey Tobin and because I don't how many bottles and we'll be picking but I just asked people that don't take it if you don't need it and make sure that there's other people that really do just because of that awesome. That's incredible one of the question. Always still we still got you here on the line with the layoffs and stuff that you've had to do. How did that go? How did it all happen? Maybe how did you come to that decision to take that step well? It wasn't an easy decision because most of us were together for some of us for fifteen years. Some of us were nine and then mostly everybody for three years. So we've Kinda built his family and we we actually are each other family with each other's all families combined together so I wanted to make sure that they were taking care of also that in the end they have a store to come back to so I'd have to reduce their hours and there. Yeah I would be lower than they could possibly get wherever. Just be more money of our savings that would go towards reps so we're just really making sure there's something for the cutback awesome. That's incredible and that does give them that opportunity right away like you said if you were to hold on and scale back the hours when it does come time to review those eae farms. We know that's going to have an effect. We know that's going to impact on you. Guys not step right away and stepping up and doing that. Really really helping him out. Incredible are the ric- down from landowner. Tell US opportunity. What does that mean to you so opportunity for me? That means opportunity the thread odd violent on hand sanitizer. Why because this community businesses shutting down as restaurants is off gone on thinking a little bit differently more customers need. That is that you have to give it to them. You know you supply business and you constantly need toilet. "Okay so here I am this morning. I'm working away at the gym. And of course they got the televisions is on watching a little bit of news. And what do I see well first of all before we even get into that something really cool happened in the lower mainland here we finally after years and years and years of debate eight years and years of years of working with the local insurance company. We have finally got Uber and lift here now. This is a pretty big deal. Why will number one? I'm a great big fan of Uber and lift not to say that I don't use taxis. We'll talk about that and a little bit. But I'm a humongous fan of Uber and lift for me. It is so simple pretty much no matter where where I go I need to get a ride. I can pop on the APP whether it's Uber whether it's lift and as long as we're not triple or quadruple time I'm getting that right hale. I'm looking it up up on my APP. I'm getting that right. It's a big deal and I absolutely love to use it. Here's what's going on now just over the weekend. The lower mainland mainly Vancouver issued Uber Uber and lift finally after much debate their licenses to operate this is a big deal in the province of British Columbia. They have the provincially run insurance company. That was one of the big hurdles for Uber and lifting it over here so finally after much debate much back and forth going to court and that they finally got it going. It's actually here. Here's is what's happening though. The mayor of Surrey issued over nine thousand dollars in fines against Uber and lift because they're claiming that they don't have the proper licenses to operate. This is after being granted those lower mainland licenses. Now when I saw that it fucking pissed me off. So here's a person who's in charge the mayor of Surrey. He's an older gentleman. Nothing against older people. Hey I'm getting up there myself. But what he's failing to recognize here is the the need for innovation. The need to be on top of things. Look at what happened to sears. Here in Canada sears gone why a sears gone. because they failed fail to innovate. They fail to optimize and they are no longer in business here. They're gone toast. An iconic brand of Canada gone basically in the blink of an eye. Look here's the fact. If we want to stay in business if we want to be at the top of our game we have to innovate. What's the mayor of Surrey? Not Doing. He's failing to recognize what the needs of the people are. Yeah taxis agree. But here's the thing. Sometimes I don't WanNa get in some stinky fucking cab that that I've had to wait god-knows-how-long for that I've called dispatch. Got Shitty Service. I'm not saying they're all shitty. But let me give an example recently here. I went over to Vancouver Island and I I called a taxi service. Normally there's taxis waiting. We came over on the ferry. Normally there's taxis there. I called taxi. Service were waiting waiting waiting. I called again. I waited for over a half an hour each and every time I would call I would get horrible service. It was just terrible. I let them kindly no that. I couldn't wait till Uber lift. Came and they didn't take that very kind. I'm okay with that. I own that the other thing with these taxi companies. They're failing to innovate now. I know what you're thinking Jamie. There's lots of APPs out there. Lots of taxi companies. Have those APPs this and that they can tell you where we're there at will let me give you another example again over into name. Oh we were we were going out. It was last summer here went on their APP looking. Okay I can make this work. COULD DEAL WITHOUT UBER and lift no problem nine times we got cancelled on our pickup nine times consecutively even after calling. Finally we just hailed one down one that we saw on a road and finally got our way back home right if this is the big difference between Uber and lift because rarely if ever I think after me once or twice and I've used them a lot both companies equally as swell. I've used them a lot and I've never had that kind of poor service. I've never had those kind of cancellations or anything like that. When I when I get onto the APP I can see where they're at? This is one of the reasons why people want this. They want the new evolution of all this mayor of Surrey. Pull your head out of your ass quite literally pull all your head out of your ask and figure out what the people want. Here's the thing heuberger. Lift aren't GonNa take all the business recently. I was on a trip into Calgary. I took a look at the APP. I took a look both Uber. And well. We didn't have lift there yet in Calgary but it was over Uber App. I took a look to see where they were. I took a look to see the pricing. I'm like you know what I'm GonNa do a cab for this one. I consciously chose to do a cab. Why will the cab was right there? I didn't have to hail anything. There wasn't anything right there at the airport so I hopped into the cab right. We're not seeing Auburn. Lift is going to take everything over. We want to give people the choice most oftentimes. I want something I can pull that up on the APP and I can see where everything's going on this also brings up the idea of. How can we work together? We have to stop fucking thinking about just that singular perspective. What are artists artists? Doing artists like singer Songwriter. And all that. How often are we seeing collaboration? One of the biggest collaborations that really sticks. And I know there's been tons and tons and tons but one of the ones that that really stuck out to me was way back in the day. 'EM Riana when they got together and they did that collaboration now of course it's not the first one. There's been collaboration music for for all history and all that but that one really really stuck out because it was just these two different people but here they are coming together. What if we instead found the way to be able to work together? What if we could build to bridge between what the taxi companies are doing? What Uber Lift is doing and together make it stronger because remember we are servants of the public we? We would not exist if we weren't in that place where we're serving when we stop putting ourselves forward when we stop thinking. Oh it's all about me it's all about if I'm the CAB company. How much much money's GonNa dig into me? How can we better serve our clients instead of looking for all the shit? That's going wrong. Why not start to look for all? That's great why not start to look to say Holy Shit. Where can we make a bigger difference? Where can we have an even bigger impact? Where can we provide even better service right? What does it looks like? where could we innovate? What business are we really think about that? Taxi companies. What business are you really in? Is it just to drive people around. No it's it's to get them places it's to provide them safe and secure transport it's to make them feel certain it's to make them have that significance within. It's not just a matter of hopping in some cab and and yet where do you want to go Kahlil get you there. It's more than that. It's an experience cab companies. Take note and listen. Where can you make an even bigger experience for your clients? Where can you go and make that impact so that it's not even a question as to where your clients are going to call? Look I do this with coaching as well. I'm not in it to say. Hey you know what I'm going to coach. But if I'm coaching other coaches which I happen to you I coached quite a few other coaches right now. I think I have about nine coaches on my roster that I'm I'm working with do I hold back and hold little secrets back. And don't tell them so that I can do better. No fuck that that would be terrible and that would be disgusting. I give every single thing I've got. I'm not worried about competition. I coach all around the world. I've got a client of mine. He he lives in the Houston Houston area and for all intents and purposes because I've got a few clients there. I could say that this person is competition but I think that's absolutely ridiculous Carlos. You know who you are brother. Good luck you've been killing it. You've been crushing it. This is a big deal I look at him and I say I want to give him everything. I've gotten more. I want him to be even more successful on me. I want him to kill it and crush it like absolutely no other and if that means me giving every single one of my secrets out to make him succeed to help him succeed lead you can bet your bottom dollar that. I'm going to do that when we get it out of our heads that it's not all me me me when we get into the mindset of how can can we make an even bigger difference. How can we collaborate? How can we actually work together? To give the people that matter the most our customers the absolute most most best most impactful service when we put that mindset on when we get that clear in our heads of how we can serve and not sell. That's really where we win. It's up to us. It's up to each and every one of us to take that to own that mindset to put it in the place where we are making making that impact don't be afraid don't come from a scarcity mindset. Look you can serve go. I'll give you a challenge right now to go to one of your competitors Gulf find where you can make a difference with them. Go look to see if there's an opportunity where you can collaborate breakdown the fucking barriers. That says hey I can't deal with this person because is there my competition. No that's the wrong attitude. Challenge yourself to go and find someone were. You can make a difference where you can have a profound difference with the both of you so that you can both grow mayor of Surrey. Doug mccaren listening. Hey really get this in your head. You're looking at things the wrong way. Where can we help the public? Where can we make a bigger difference working? We really give the people what they need and taxi. Companies if you're one of those it's in that fear mindset. All you have to do is do two percent better header one percent better find a better way to do it. Make Uber and lift. Not An issue. You do that you blow me away. You come up with that infrastructure. That's GonNa get me on your APP instead of theirs. I'm GonNa love you forever. That's all it takes. Don't worry about them. Look were success has made big impacts. Look look at that reengineer it for yourself and find the way that it works biggest takeaway here vaulted find that opportunity to collaborate. This is what it's all about. Oh go make that impact kicks amass and we will catch you on the flip side.

"All right. I've been hitting the gym. I'm back in the gym it. It's time to get this lazy ass body doing something. That's really going to make a difference and I've started the gym now. It's been about two weeks now so I've gone every day except for two days now. One of the things I like to do is I used to be an avid runner. Now I'm not talking. Ultra Marathon Lake Gauguin's or anything like that. I used to run. I'd run on average five to seven K every few you days or whatnot. It's kind of interesting because I got back on the good old treadmill there and I started out started out running. And I did a whopping eight minutes st eight minutes. Can you believe it aide whole minutes. It's on the treadmill. Yeah kind of laughed at myself because that was a far far contrast from what I used to do. Now I've been running every day. I start out every single. Dale Walk for a couple of minutes. It's just to get the body all limbered up and everything will start running. I notice I went from eight minutes up to twelve minutes up to fourteen minutes and then I had this little barrier that I put in place for my mind I could do twelve minutes. I do fourteen minutes no problem. It was easy simple for me but every time I tried. There's that word you all know that. I can't stand that word every time I tried to do more more that block that barrier would come up and it would stop me for moving ahead. Well something pretty amazing happened this morning. I want to share it all with you because it's so relevant for all all of us. I'm not just celebrating my own accomplishment this morning here I want to paint the picture of what's possible for each and any one of us to be able to remember I am not that ultramarathons Kamera thon guy so here. I am rocking out this morning. I hit the fourteen minute mark and something different happens. Something changes morning. I could keep going so I did. And what's interesting is I set myself small little piece of small little things to focus on. Okay if I can do fifteen minutes. Can I get to seventeen. My logic in my mind was five. Do Seventeen. That's Fifteenth Fifteen street minutes of running. Plus my two minute warmup. Yeah that's pretty good. I hit seventeen and I was still get to go. I kept doing that until thirty two minutes. meaning that I I had my two minute warm up and I ran straight for thirty minutes now for all you marathon saute. This is no big deal for you. It's like whoopy-doo the guy ran thirty minutes. But for me this guy that's basically been outta shape. It was an accomplishment this morning. What I'm seeing? Here's it each and every one of us can do this. It takes commitment. It takes perseverance. And it takes jake setting up a different standard in our mind. Remember what my old standard used to be it used to be. You can get to fourteen minutes. I could get to sixty minutes and I'm done. I'm tapping I'm finished. It's all I got guess. What a whole lot more than my tank? I didn't do anything different. It's not like I had a bunch of extra arrest or anything. I just got off my ass this morning hopped on that treadmill and I fucking crushed crushed. It crushed it from me. What's great is you can do this? Take this it's a bit of a mindset thing do what I did is I set small little milestones. Okay if I can hit seventeen eighteen minutes can I hit twenty minutes. Can I hit twenty two. Can I hit twenty six. Can I hit twenty. Can I hit thirty. I set myself up small little milestones and I believe that I could do it so enough of my accomplishment though something. I'm really proud of but enough about that. Let's get into the myth of multitasking. What the Hell is this whole idea of multitasking? Well well the idea of multitasking is that we can do multiple things at a time. I'm here to tell you. That's a bunch of absolute bullshit. Now where I use this where he uses in particular Taylor in my business. Coaching is when I'm working with managers. We've all heard the old story of the open door policy. Yeah just come on in anytime no problem I can help you and and we'll I think it's great to be able to build that beautiful report with all your people that work with you that work for you when it's time to do some work when it's time to take on the tasks that require that focus. This is when we have to close that door because we can do one thing at a time really great. We were never meant to do multiple things at a time and for myself. I've really recognized the most I can do. Is One thing I can chew gum and walk. Hey if that's multitasking. Then I guess I'm rocking it out but what I'm here to say as we. We can do multiple things when I'm coaching right. When I'm working with clients I'm not sitting there scrolling through facebook feeds and this and that why because I don't have the capacity for that when I'm doing in my one thing and I'm doing it really great and I'm crushing it? I'm getting all the results and guess what I'm saving time. See the idea that we can do multiple things. It actually takes takes US longer right. Yeah I can multitask. Here's the thing though your brain has to shift thought processes rate sitting in planning out a budget versus going and you oh speaking to an employee that comes in and whatnot. You have to interrupt that one task. That budgeting mindset and you have to shift that mindset into something else now lots of practice you can do it fairly effortlessly heartlessly. But they're still a time loss where we make up that time and where we give ourselves out time back is when we focus on that one thing that we can do really great the idea for this podcast. It came this morning I was running on treadmills. I was cranking and I'm like oh I've got to capture this. I've got one of those minds if I don't write it down if I don't capture it right away poof. It's gone on. I didn't want to lose it this morning. So here I tried the whole myth of multitask. So here I am. I'm running away. I'm grabbing the phone and I have to capture this right. I have to capture the title for this podcast. What I'm going to speak about today so I'm trying to type I'm running? I'm half fallen off this treadmill. I'm sure if anyone was looking at me they'd have got a good chuckle out of it. See even on that. We can't multitask not task. We can do one thing really great really quickly really efficiently. Take some time for yourself to say. What is it that I have have to do? I can tell you the reason I bring. This up is because people where they struggle were they have. Some of their biggest challenges is when they're trying to manage multiple tasks all at once. So so. You can't do it what you can do that one thing really great. This is where I tie it into scheduling scheduling in that task. That you have to do that. You have to to get behind so that when the time comes to crush it when the time comes to absolutely give it your all and get the task done on time on budget with everything you need to all it takes to get it done on is to focus in on that one thing. Stop Telling Yourself that myth that we can do multiple things at once we can do one thing really great. Give yourself a gift because it it really is a gift it's GonNa Save you time. It's going to increase your productivity. You're going to get a hell of a lot more done when you focus in on that one thing the idea of multitasking asking you know what recycle that idea get it out. Transform that energy into something that's GonNa help you focus in on that one thing right as we all know about energy it can neither be created nor destroyed only transformed. And this is what we're looking to do with that. Stop worrying about trying. There's that word stop worrying about trying to multitask and instead focus in on that one thing that you're doing right now. The benefits re permit are amazing. You'll get so much more done you'll be so much. More are productive and intern. You'll be so much happier managers. It's okay to close that door if you're focusing on something that requires all your attention. Take it utilize utilize that utilize that moment utilize that time. You will be extremely happy that you did. You're gonNA get more done. Focus in on that one thing. Thank you all so much for tuning in today. It has been an absolute slice. I can't wait to catch you on the flip side.

"Woke up this morning and I was absolutely fricking passionate coaching here for for many many many a years and one of the biggest things that I see that people aren't getting done as they're not hitting their goals this being the beginning of January this being the top of the year when everyone's wants gone ahead set up their New Year's resolutions set something in motion keyword being something set something in motion and then they get to the end of the year and they figure out Shit Shit. I didn't get it done. Look I'm going to share the secret with you right now. This is short. This is sweet and this is right to the point number one figure how would it is you want. Don't just think about it. Don't just leave it up in your head get that shit out write it down. Take note of exactly what it. Is You a plan to crush this year. Be Specific get the numbers behind it. The metrics out there so that you know what you're measuring we want to be able to take a look at exactly. How far were progressing in the only way to do that is to really get it clear and get that shit out there? Don't just put. Yeah I wanNA feel better for twenty twenty. You do better than that get specific. I want to be at a certain body fat index. I WANNA make a million dollars this year. I want to find that perfect perfect person who is my soul mate forever and they are this this and this look we gotta get specific. We've got to send that information out and get it clear. Most importantly get it out ahead. Now here's the secret that's not secret you want to know what it is. It's this simple schedule. A sheet in and do the fucking work. The only way to get what you WanNa get is doing. The work doesn't matter how much you sit there you think about. Oh I'd love to have this. I'd love to have this place the key to anything the key to achieving leaving you getting exactly what you want is for you to get off your ass and go and do the fucking work. If that means you getting up at four thirty in the morning get your your ass up and go and do the work. Look sound like I'm coming across pretty harsher but in all reality you guys know that I have a ton of love for you out there. This here has me fired it up this morning because twenty twenty is not just a year. It's the decade of you getting everything that you need you getting everything that you want and the only only way to do that is to put in the work. This isn't just some little thing. This isn't just some. Oh yeah I'd like to have it. No this. Is You getting out there and doing it. Think about it like this you go to work so your workdays eight thirty to five you make that a priority. Why because you have to do the same thing with your goals your goals are no different? Put Your doctor's appointments. Your dentist appointments you schedule that Shit you get their fifteen minutes early. You're waiting for the doctor. Dentist whatever you get in you get your session and you leave your goals and the activities to achieve your outcomes are absolutely no different than that. This is what it takes. It's about you being resilient William. It's about you being persistent. It's about doing whatever the fuck it takes to make yourself set up for success. It's not about taking the easy route but guess what when you do this. It becomes very easy. This is you setting yourself up for success by putting the pieces in place first first of all figure out what the hell you're doing figure out why you WanNa do it. Why it's so important? Think about it. Let's come back to the work example for a moment if you chose not to go into work work every day or for two three or four days out of the week just because you didn't feel like it because I got other stuff to do what would happen. Would you have that job. Would you be able to take care of and provide for your family. The answer to that is simply no. Your goals are no different scheduled. The time in if it's in the morning to go to the gym. Am Get your ass out of bed and go to the gym if it's doing something after work if it setting aside an hour two hours three hours to work on your side hustle than do that. It's it's not about sitting on the couch and netflixing chilling with that said. There is a balance. I'm not the guy that's out there. Cranking million hours a week doing everything maximizing all hundred sixty eight hours a week. No I take time for me to chill so that I can put my body back in this place so that I can stand and deliver for ten twelve hours a day and Brock People's worlds girls. That's my job and this is what I do. Come back to what you want. Get really really really clear on what you want and then do the work schedule it in set aside that time there is no secret to this. If you want something bad enough put in in the work. There's no other secret. I don't care what planner you have. Franklin Covey Tony Robbins. RPM whatever the hell it is get in there figure out when you're GONNA do the actions that you said you do the actions that you know you've committed to to achieve your outcomes and when you do do that you will win. This isn't complicated. This isn't really difficult. It's a matter of you taking the time to move yourself self forward and achieve what you want. It's not someone else doing the work for you. It's you getting serious and putting in the time putting in the effort I came across. That's pretty impassioned this morning because I want to give this tea right at the top of the year. There's no better time than right now to jump on this to get working on what it is you want with. That said. I'm off to start my day ready to rock ready to kick it out here. We go big loved you all. I love you big time. Go and and do and go and crush it for twenty twenty we will catch you on the flip side.

"Unfair advantage. Doesn't everyone want an unfair advantage. I'm I'M GONNA give it to you today so hey thank you so much for tuning in. I'm excited to be back. Yes it's been a long time way too long. I have been here. I've been there. I've been to Australia really. What an amazing amazing outstanding country a huge mass of show to all my beautiful Ozzy people down there? I love you. I love your country and I cannot ought absolutely cannot wait to be back. I've also been to eastern Canada. Wow it was a short trip but an absolutely amazing one and last but not least. I've also been down down to Florida. Wow I've packed a ton in on top of that. I'm really excited to say that I finished my third program. The dimensions of state eight management. It's done it's live and you can absolutely check it out at U. E. COACHING DOT teachable. Dot Com alright onto the unfair advantage vantage. What's this unfair advantage? Well through having been to all these places I noticed something sticking out and it was the language that people were using no no not faulk and shared and all that but the actual language patterns the words that people use on a frequent basis. What I noticed is that not not everyone but for a lot of people they use words that were eliciting a negative feeling a negative response or a negative emotion? What do I mean by that for those tasks that were hard? They were epic they were challenging way too difficult. There were insurmountable roadblocks. In my way I started to really hear an absolute loot ton of negative language patterns. This got me thinking what would happen if we made some small shifts some small shifts in those inveterate Britt language patterns those patterns that we're using over and over to take them from a place that was an maybe a little bit negative into a place that was much more positive. It also got me wondering how much of the English language are we actually using. WE'LL HAS IT turns out very very very little. I looked at the stats in the Oxford expert English dictionary there's approximately one hundred seventy one thousand plus words available for us to use. What's really interesting though? Is that of those one hundred and seventy one thousand words that we have available to us. We only use on a daily basis on a frequent daily basis. We only use approximately one thousand thousand of those words in our daily communication while we're not using even a tenth of the English language and it's no wonder why we have such a limited experiences. You heard me use that word earlier inveterate meaning a lot of I had to look that up because I wanted to use is something different. I wanted to challenge myself and you some other language that represented what I wanted to share. Do that make that a part of your daily habit going when look those words up heck on the Alexa APP. You can get her to give you the word of the day. It's absolutely amazing going. Use It expand that language pattern. Okay back onto what I was talking about. Those patterns that people were using mainly consisted of negative or negative feeling or negative associated words. What does that mean we were using using those those difficult words words that we're going to prohibit us from being in those states that were going to support our ultimate outcomes? What do we have to do? We have to change those language patterns. This is the unfair advantage. I'm not kidding you. It's a simple little tasks that you can do. I wrote this up in my program included this part of this in my program so you could all have that exercise. I'm going to do something really kind of cool today. I'm GONNA give you that exercise that I wrote up in my chapter that spoke about language. Switch the exercises this. Give yourself the gift of recording the language that you're using those repetitious words that you're using over and over. What are those words that you notice yourself using? Are they positive. Are they great outstanding. Amazing Awesome fucking amazing or is it hard difficult challenging roadblock insurmountable roadblock whatever it is I want you to take notice of those language patterns that you're using and you're GonNa do this for a week you're going to spend one whole week simply recording the language that you're using more specifically the words that you're using take note of that. How do you describe a situation? How do you describe I an argument? How do you describe disagreement? How do you describe something that took you longer than what you expected? What words do you use when you find that? You're having to stay late after work. I got a pretty crazy idea that there might not be some of the most positive words that you could use that moment. Take note of them. Whether you've got a note pad where you're writing them down and putting a little mark next to it or whether you're taking notes in your phone you're utilizing the notes APP taking note of those words and just putting a little character after that take it's not of those language patterns. This is all you're doing for the first seven days at the end of this seven days. Take note of those words that you used most frequently. What we WANNA do then is once you've identified? What those words are? We WanNA switch them. We want to look at the antithesis of those words the opposite so it's hard. Maybe it was fun. If it was difficult maybe it was an opportunity for growth. We WanNA start to input some alternate language patterns into your daily vocabulary. So that number one you can grow because remember. We're either growing or dying there ain't no inbetween. Let's choose growth. That's number one number two let's exchanging overall being. Let's change the person who you are so that you can get more of exactly what it is that you want. That's a big one people. They see us. They perceive US based on who we are based on our body posture based on the language that we use. If we're a Debbie Downer and we're constantly going into all the sorrows and all the difficulties that were having. What are the chances that people are going to want to help you and support you when all you're doing is focusing in on the negative? Give yourself a language upgrade and get into the habit get into the habit of using words that support what you truly want. This is the first step. This is an absolutely big big step in getting all the results that you've ever wanted simply by changing you. It's not about looking outside yourself. It's not about looking at. Who else can do it in this moment for this task this is about you? This is absolute ownership of what it is that you want. How do we get what we want will number one? We gotta get in the right state of mind. "Welcome back to a nother addition of JJ podcast. This is your host Jamie J and today, we're gonna talk about resourcefulness. What does it mean to be resourceful? Who do you have to work with to get totally resourceful? Let's find out. All right resourcefulness now here's the thing. When you're setting goals when you're out there when you're doing the work to set your success up, a lot of things that I hear because I worked with a lot of clients, a lot of things I hear jeeze, Jamie. You know what I just can't get it all done? I don't have the skills. I don't have this. I don't have that folks. This is where we must where we absolutely must become resourceful. We've got a look at who else can do the task. I use this example, with my coaching clients, right? New coaches, they come out Bom. They want to get that, you know, new coaching practice odor. They wanna share all this information out there. They're not the best person to be creating that website. They're not the best person. Maybe to be doing that marketing at I yeah, I get it. There's some cost involved but get resourceful. I guarantee you, if you look around you, if you start to really dig into it, and start to look for those people that have the resources to do it, you will get it done folk. It's never ever, ever a lack of resources. We have to think outside the box we have to get wild. We have to look at all the available resources that we really do have in our life. Here's a great example go through before you start anything. And start to take a look at where those resources are who could be a resource. Is it some technology that you've got take a list, taken inventory, an actual accounting of all the resources that you really do have, and then ask yourself the really great question. Hey, how can I employ these resources? Is this applicable for me to be able to take this tool this piece of technology, whatever it is an import it into my plan, so that I can achieve the results that I'm working towards achieving? We have to think bigger, and we have to think smarter we have to think stronger, this here is what it's all about, it's going to that place of recognizing all the available tools that you do have in your life. Look, we've got tons. We've got. Many, many many we simply have to account them. Now, we've accounted him, we've got the list, how do we put it into motion putting into motion? That might even be one of the simplest things yet. Look you're planning it out. I've done the podcast on RPM plans on my own process. Oh, w n my oh, w n process, go ahead and put it into practice by fitting in those pieces. What's the question? The question is, does it have to be me? Or must it be someone else? Look, I know you're going to have that list, you're going to have all those things that you have to do. That's cool. Go ahead and figure out if it has to be you, or if it's got to be someone else that's going to take that action or going to help you with that part of it. When you do the process becomes so much simpler. Look, if you can leverage out maybe fifteen twenty thirty even forty percent of all the tasks that you have to do how much easier does it make it? What do you start to believe in your head? Do you start to? Leave that you can do it or you still stuck in that place of on my God. It's too much work. It's too hard. My hallucination is that you're going to really start to believe that you can do it that all comes from being resourceful and employing, your resources. I promise you, they're all around you. All you have to do is look for it, and then make sure that you're utilizing those resources to move forward to get you to wards your alternate outcomes. Now, if you're not doing it, you got to check in with yourself. If you're thinking you're going to be the island on the island. There's no one else that can do this. But me, I'm the best person then you're thinking the wrong thoughts comeback circle back and say, look, I have to put my pride. I have to put some of that shit aside, so that I can get this done. I can rely on other people why. Because I know they can help me. I know they can make a difference in exactly where I'm going and what I'm doing simply by leveraging them simply by being resourceful with myself and you. Utilizing those resources to move me forward. It's might be one of the biggest things I share if you're not doing this, if you're not getting resourceful, and finding who can help you who can add to your bucket of resources, take some time today. Go and look through take stock take an accounting of exactly what you really do have in your life. So that you can move your life forward to exactly where it has to be. It's been a pleasure. It's been a blast. Another great great, great session with you guys. Chatting, I love to be able to do this love senior comments below love getting all those personal DM's as well feeling the love, I want to send that love right back. "j." Discussed on The Jamie J Podcast

"Welcome back to another dish into the J podcast. This is your host, Jamie J, and today today, we're gonna talk about the little things, and how those little things add up to be something really big. Let's kick it off. Okay. It's all about those little things, those small little things, those little steps that oftentimes, we don't take that we just take for granted that we don't do let me give an example here. So, of course, I'm coaching away. I'm back at it today. Now I know today today's Memorial Day. So I expect that, hey, some of my US clients aren't necessarily going to get the stuff in time to get what it is that they need get done. What does that say about their lives, if they're taking shortcuts? All this little stuff right here right now. How do they ever expect to get the results that they're looking to get it is always it is absolutely always all about the little stuff. The small little bits and pieces. The small little steps that we take to get our ultimate outcome. Some of the things that I need is a coach. Number one is my pre call planning form sent in. I require my clients do that. Why? Because it's all about them. Now, one of my requirements is. That I must I absolutely must have that pre call form twenty four hours before the session. No exceptions. Here's the thing, here's a little test. Is there a way that we could do that? Even though I send out a reminder twenty four hours before if twenty four hours before it doesn't work. Could we do something else? Sure you could. We've all got these great devices like right here. I'm holding in my hand right here. It's my phone. It's got a great little tool on there for being able to set a reminder to let me know. Hey, I've got some sort of action that I've gotta take, I can have it set at thirty six hours, forty eight hours before it's those kind of little things that are going to make the difference between having that awesome, radical success, or instead, going to that place where success does not become your option. What are the little things are you putting off in your life? Let's think about it. It can be something as small as maybe taking out the garbage. I'll just let it sit for another day. Yeah. We could do that. And we can also recognize. That in that moment. We're leading something else fit in. I e procrastination. Now, if your standard is procrastination. Hey, that's cool. Go ahead and live that standard yet, I know I fucking know that if you're listening to this that you have a standard that's much higher than that. Don't let that little bullshit. Getting your way. Don't let those little excuses, pop up that screw you up from getting done the things that you need to get done being an entrepreneur, if you're an entrepreneurial there and you're listening to this, you know that every day is a workday. How do you get the most out of it? Guess spend the time to schedule it. Now, if you're listening to my podcast, you know, I spent a lot of time talking about scheduling, Celica fucking broken record. I'm talking about it over and over and over. Why do I keep doing that? Because it's one of the things that we need the most. And we for the most part, do the least if you wanna have that radical success, if you want to set yourself up for the life that, you know, you deserve to live. Then you've gotta take these small little steps to. Make it happen. Breakdown your day. I could go into the amount of hours in a day week and all that we know we've got twenty four hours a day. We got one hundred sixty hours a week. I calculated it out and based on a forty hour workweek plus a couple of hours commute per day, plus seven hours worth sleep at night, every night, you've still got sixty some odd hours remaining sixty per duct of hours remaining that you could be spending time doing what it is you love doing what it is you want, what makes the most of that time? It's doing the little stuff. It's scheduling it in one of the big profound questions. I asked a client one time was. Hey, when do you schedule time to do your schedule, and it was like the big light bulb went off? Right. We've got to invest the time and all that small little stuff. Even if it is fifteen minutes, we can't let the small stuff build up build up build up because it turns into a fucking monster. We've got to kill the monster when it's little it's critical and important. How do we do that by taking those small little? Incremental steps look for the small stuff, you can get wrapped up looking for all the great big stuff all the great big huge opportunities yet. We will never get those opportunities. We'll never get to that ultimate outcome. Where that opportunity is realized unless we go ahead and set up a plan to get all the small little pieces. Think about it this morning. Now, if you're working today, if you're working like me, there's probably a couple of things that had to happen, number one, you had to get up. We gotta go brush, our teeth for showering in the morning. We're doing our shower. We're getting ready were shaving redoing, all those things we get out, we go pack our lunch, imagine if you didn't do some of those little things you get up, you come into work. You maybe you go downstairs you go to have a coffee and someone's like, oh my God. Your fricken breath stinks. Why? Because you forgot to brush your teeth. Same thing. Lunchtime comes your cranking. All morning. You're ready to eat. You go to the fridge. There's no food in the fridge. Why? Because you didn't pack yourself a lunch. It's that kind of stuff that I'm talking about. We have to make time for those small little bits those small little. Pieces, so that we can live are fulfilled lives. We can achieve what it is that we set out to achieve think about this for yourself. And I really want you to think deep here, this is important shit think deepen really recognize where is it in your life? Where is it in your business that you have those small little things that you're not getting done? Go ahead and think about it, go ahead and really clarify, as to what those things are that, you know, you now must do why does it become a must because when we crush those little things because when we take the action steps to achieve what it is that we want to achieve even the small ones we get to live those lives, fulfilled. We get to live, our businesses fulfilled. And that's what it's at what's the ultimate failure success without fulfillment. That's why we're constantly constantly seeking out that fulfillment. We get fulfillment by taking the small little steps, you can start today do this. Here's an exercise I wanna give it to you right now. Go. Go ahead and make a list now. I know we don't like list. We don't like this. Well, we're going to do something with this list, we I have to identify where we are. So here's the list. What are all the small little things that you've been putting off? What's all the shit that, you know, you've gotta do yet? You've been saying, I'll do it. Another time. I'll do it in another place. Whatever what are some of those small, little pieces that, you know, you must get accomplished. I want you to figure those out. I want you to get really clear come up with five ten fifteen whatever it is. We're looking for the smallest little things. Maybe it is cleaning up your office, so that you can be even more productive so that you when it comes time for you to get on that big project. You're not looking for those little things to get done so that you can feel that sense of accomplishment. No. You'll have the stuff done right. Is it cleaning up? The house is doing the yard work. Is it taking care of yourself? Is it going and getting a Cairo appointment is going and getting that massage when you do those little? Things they all add up, you will get absolutely maximum growth. Like mean I'm talking exponential growth. When you spend the time on those small little things figure it out where it is in your life, that you're falling down. It's the biggest gift you can give yourself. I mean fuck, don't you wanna grow, don't you wanna be in the place where you are? Absolutely crushing it. Absolutely killing it. I know you do you wouldn't be listening to this. If you didn't so take that time get really clear all those little things, what they are that you've been putting off and then go out and get them done. I'm serious. It's going to be one of those biggest gifts those absolute biggest gifts that you could ever give yourself look at the fulfillment, you're gonna have think of how good that's going to feel when you get to that place and you are crushing it out that you've got everything that you needed to get done done. Now you can jump into your project, myself, of course, many of, you know, I'm in the process of creating my dimensions. Courses. I've got the dimensions of goal setting. I've got the dimensions of goal achievement and I've got the dimensions of state management, now, I could find lots of little things that I've gotta do I really could if I really search for them, but I found the things that were relevant to me, getting my outcome me getting my goals, done, and I completed, those small little steps I've linked it up that when I work on this stuff that when I work on these small little pieces when I put the effort into the details to get the details clear and get the, the extra work off my plate. I get to then move onto the bigger stuff like sitting down and writing copy like getting it sent off to my guy. That's creating. Oh my PowerPoint s- like moving things forward, you'll never get to the place of moving forward. If you don't take care of the small little stuff. I get that list out figure out what those items are remember we talked about it. You're gonna have five ten fifteen things. What are we gonna do? We need to link them up with that higher. Reason that higher purpose of why we're doing them we do. Do that so that we can understand. Okay, by me cleaning up my office that's gonna give me that head space. That's going to give me that absolute clarity. So that now I can go work on this project, whatever that project might be. I've got to go take care of all my yard work, so that I can really enjoy this weekend. If I wanna chill, whatever it is look at all those small little pieces. Look at all those small little details and stick to it. Set your life up for success by taking care of the small stuff and then and only then will the big stuff flow easily and effortlessly, I shot a couple of videos this morning for Instagram Facebook linked in and one of the things that I noticed is when I look back at this week and it blew on by, like, I'm talking it blew on by why did it do that? Because I was in the place I was in the absolute zone. There was no stopping me. I couldn't be stopped. I was in the flow state. Why? Because everything was put into place do yourself that same favor. Give yourself that absolute same gift so that you can be in that place where. Are you are on stoppable? Isn't that what it's all about? I would love to hear your thoughts on this. I I'd love to get your takeaways your feedback, and all that make some comments in this hope you check this out on itunes, real soon. And I can't wait to catch up with you on the next episode of the Jaime J podcast will catch you real soon..

"Satisfied customers. Don't get the job done. They simply don't satisfied customers. They might come back. They might not think about this. What does it mean to be a raving fan? Well, what are raving fans going to do? They are going to go out, and they are going to rave about your product or your service. They won't stop talking. They're going to share all the great things from that. And in turn. What's going to happen? You guys. Tell me what's going to happen. Of course, new customers are gonna come. Because of that. What would happen if instead we doubled down? What if we went above and beyond? Remember when I read from the book here, the free shoeshine, right? Who would think to have something like a free shoeshine in a grocery store? Well, maybe not a lot of people. But they did it's something radical. It's something different. Where can you provide additional service additional value to your clients think big the other thing? What did I say about internal? We want to ask them. Can we do the same with external? Yes. Absolutely. We can now I mentioned the surveys at the bottom of the receipts. That's one way for sure other ways, we can straight up ask them. We can make some calls. We can thank them for the service. If we've got that information a lot of us. We have our our systems to be able to track our people, right? Our customer management system CMS and all that let's go in let. Start following up with some of these people and not to sell them. Something forget about the selling. I have I have a really different belief about selling. And I believe that when we provide absolute extreme massive value. The sale will happen. Yeah. Sometimes we've got to ask for it. No question. But when you've created that report with your customers when you've made that connection simply by calling up say, hey, you know, what Joe thank you so much. I noticed you're in the store the other day. Sorry, didn't get a chance to see you. I really wanted to follow up. And thank you for that for that purchase. It was amazing. And if there's anything we can do to service you along the way, please don't hesitate to reach out. How far do you think that would go especially if it's coming from someone of a higher position? I e manager director owner of all places think about that. What else do they want? What else do they need in that conversation that you're having with them to basically, thank them. You can also ask the question. Is there anything that? We could have done today to improve service, even more. What would make? Your experience even better. What would make it easier for you one of the biggest things that I like to jump into is time. I am anal with time. I'm going to admit it. Yes. I am time is a big thing to me. I don't like to be late anything that's going to effectively give me time back. I e save me time is something that I'm gonna find a massive everyone's different. That's one of those things that matters to me, though, is time where can you perhaps give your client some time back where can you inject some extra time into their day? Whereas like, wow, I got so many things done is their extra services. You could bring in. Is there people that you could work with whereby? Okay. Let's pick on auto detailing for a moment. Say you've got your car you want to get auto detail. There's a bunch of things that you need to do that auto detailer if they were to go ahead and say, hey, by the way, did you need an oil change are you up for this? Are you up for that? Did you need anything else done while it's here because we've got it? Can we provide you any extra? Value. Now, I get it. This auto DR. They don't do oil changes. I totally understand that and nor would they want to but the quick lube. That's right down the street. Nothing's preventing them from calling up the quick lube and saying, hey, you know, what guys I would love if we could create some business back and forth. You know, your clients that come in that maybe get some more stuff done. We'd love to offer you a special package for detailing. And in turn could we do something whereby we bring some of our clients down to exchange services to get their oil changed on. So it's a one stop shop. Ultimately that's a win win. Is it a radical departure from some of the regular thinking, maybe it is? And maybe that's exactly what we want. And exactly what we need to create some of those raving fan customers. Think about it for yourself where do you in your business need to make some radical shifts? How can you do it? What could that look like there's plenty of free tools out there, some online forums some online questionnaires? Woo foo survey monkey there's a bunch of different. Things that you can utilize to get those answers to you for us to guess for us to simply think we know everything that a client wants, I think that's a bit of a Dacia statement. I don't believe that we know everything everything that a client wants, and we can go and figure it out. We can ask the questions we can get curious. And when we do, and when we make these changes, we have a radical difference. We have a radical impact. Here's the other thing. Sometimes a lot of information's going to come in either. From your internal people your internal raving fans or your external clients, your external raving fans, do we have to act on all of it the answer to that is no some things are going to be extremely far of our scope to go to the dentist office and say, oh, yeah. And by the way, can you change my oil in my car? I'm sorry. That's way too far to scope that's not something that's even realistic to think about so we do have to reject some of those ideas when we fight. Find the ideas that we want. And maybe this is a trick question. Do we go ahead and start to implement them? All what do you guys think the answer is quite obviously, no we're not going to implement everything at once. But we are going to go ahead and implement one thing at a time everything builds on that. And when you start with that when you let people know you create massive opportunities number one, you're creating even more opportunities for that customer to come in number two. You're creating a ton of social media content. Hey, it's Joe's lube shop. And guess what we now offer detailing if you're bringing your vehicle down, you need a tranny service, you need this you need that guess what we can also get your vehicle detail. We are your one stop shop because we want to save you time, and we wanna make it simple for you think about that working you save time for your clients. It's one of those things make sure it's in the wheelhouse implement it. Utilize those implementations to be able to promote your business out there. This is scratches the surface. This is really only a small part of it. The best thing that you can do is start to ask get curious ask your people inside ask those clients that are coming in. You know, what would take your experience from a seven or eight up to ten or twelve or fifteen? What would make it? Absolutely incredible. Remember, you're not going to do everything. Some things are just going to be out of the wheelhouse. And when you start to find the patterns because there are patterns of what people want what people need, and what really prevents them from getting it. Would you crack that code? You get to gain even more clients, even bigger client base and watch your profits skyrocket. Curious to see your thoughts. If you've got any questions today. I'd love to hear from you. You can Email me at Jaime J at the Jaime J podcast dot com until next time. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you have an absolutely amazing. Incredible outstanding day.
