Episode 54 Are You Winning Every day and In Every Way?
Do you want to win in life? And, how do you win in life? Winning is about getting past the language that we define ourselves with. It is about discipline, obedience, self-control and what have you. It is our way of thinking about life, about relationships and about what we ought to become. It is all these and doing away backward perspective about life and those limiting beliefs about ourselves. Today in this episode, Jose delves deeper into his unique perspective of winning in life to help you do away with the language you use that is holding you back from truly excelling in life. What You Will Learn From This Episode: â–ªï¸ 00:01 What growing in and out of something really mean? â–ªï¸ 01:24 How do successful people think â–ªï¸ 03:24 How discipline and obedience defines success â–ªï¸ 04:20 Why do people don't grow into love â–ªï¸ 05:22 The value of language: how it helps and hurts you â–ªï¸ 08:08 What we need to be careful about saying â–ªï¸ 09:11 What to be aware of the hints in life so you avoid the limiting beliefs in your life Quotable Quotes: â–ªï¸ In discipline, you don't grow out of discipline. You go into discipline. The reason for that is because when you are introduced to taking responsibility, you'll begin to develop your discipline. You'll begin to develop your responsible behavior to do it. You begin to develop obedience. You don't grow out of obedience, you grow into obedience. It's a working process. â–ªï¸ Sometimes we think about, we grow out of love. Well, you don't grow out of love. You grow in love. See, love is something that you grow into. The longer you're with somebody, the longer that you're married, the love needs to grow. And how do you do that? Well, that is part of your development. That is part of a marriage working together to grow in love. â–ªï¸ I've never ever until recently understood, why is it that people don't grow into but they grow out of because they see it that way. They're perspective is backwards. They're language is being used in a way that holds them back from excelling at another level. â–ªï¸ Why is it different when it comes to marriage? You're supposed to grow in love with your spouse. If you're doing the daily things every single day that makes for a powerful relationship, then you're going to grow in love. You're not going to grow out of love. You're going to grow in love. Link JDC Success Coaching & Consulting Jose DiCervo
