The site says some 46% of Americans are carrying debt month to month up 39% from a year ago. Data show more people are falling behind on payments. Americans' faith in banks low after failures: AP-NORC poll
"Uphold finds low faith in American banks after two recent bank failures. Treasury chief Janet Yellen and the Biden administration have been trying to boost confidence. In the U.S. banking system remains sound. But an AP Newark center for public affairs research poll finds just 10% of U.S. adults say they have high confidence in banks and other financial institutions. That's down more than half from three years ago. More than half now say the government's not doing enough to regulate the industry. Over the past month, there's been little change in how people see the overall economy, only a quarter, say national economic conditions are good. Three quarters describe them as poor. Voddie Baucham and Eric Discuss REAL Oppression
"Look, at the heart of Christianity, is we're supposed to understand I am my own worst oppressor. I need to repent. I am the problem. So when you want to point the finger at somebody, which is what atheist marxists do, it makes the problem worse because it is not identifying the actual problem, the actual oppressor, it's creating a scapegoat and around and around we go. And you are quite right. I mean, we don't call out real oppression. And then when we see real oppression, we don't call it out. You know, for example, as you said, I'm a dean at the African Christian university, and Osaka and Zambia. I've lived in south Central Africa for the last almost 8 years. And it amazes me how people want to talk about white colonizers and white oppressors and they set in the other. But you never hear them, for example, to talk about female genital mutilation. Or women being basically sold as child brides. I mean, these are real things that are happening. But we're not hearing about that. We're hearing about these other ideas that are about power. They're about transferring power. They're about me speaking up in a way that will cause people to give me positions to give me power to give me prestige that I haven't earned and that don't require me to really do anything in regard to real oppression.

Voddie Baucham Weighs In on White Pastors Spouting CRT
"Do you make of the idea that you've got a lot of white evangelical pastors, either bowing to critical race theory or letting it into their churches? What do you think is going on there? Is that just stupid white guilt and ignorance of what they're actually dealing with? I can not for the life of me fathom that they would open the door to something that you know and I know is pernicious. Yeah, there is a great deal of this stupid white guilt going on for sure. But what's interesting about that is now people are walking that back, right? You know, in 2020, 2021, there were a lot of people opening the door to these ideologies. A lot of those folks now are walking that back, but they're walking it back without acknowledging it. They're walking it back without saying, hey, that episode was unfortunate. That episode was wrong. Now they're trying to act like they were never on the wrong side of this issue. And hope that people, you know, don't go back and look at the tape. Because it is. It's bankrupt. This ideology is morally bankrupt. It's philosophically bankrupt. It's intellectually bankrupt. And it was never something that was sustainable. So it's interesting to see people walk away from it. Or people just walking further into it and further away from Christianity at all together.

The Best Reasons to Vote for Trump
"I think Republicans obviously, listen, I've said and I'll say time and time again, the best reasons to vote for Donald Trump are a couple of reasons, and he mentioned them and his cpac speech, but I think retribution is very important. I think that the American people need justice. I think that American people were sincerely wronged and continue to be wrong by these freaking marxists in The White House and these marxists that are occupying these bureaucratic agencies. So I think justice is very important. We don't use that word on the right often and in my opinion often enough because it's so wrongly used when it comes to people on the left, but justice is very important. The rule of law in the United States of America is very important. Retribution is very important. I know a lot of people, Carl, that's such a dirty word. Trump shouldn't have used that. No. I totally agree with them. We were wrong. We were wrong. And so I have no problem with Trump using words like retribution. At all. At all.

How the White House Gave Putin a Green Light for Ukraine
"Now, we're talking about a Pakistan here, Chad and before we go, I want to make sure we have you wrap up on that, but I also want to get your take on what's happening in Russia, Ukraine, IRC, Xi Jinping, visiting Russia. This is absolutely insane. All right, so just if you would ramp up what you were talking about as far as Pakistan and the ISI yeah, I mean, just I mean, this is our enemy. This is who we've been fighting for the last 20 years when we fight when we say fight and Taliban. And the truth is, we didn't negotiate with our allies. We didn't negotiate with. We didn't negotiate with the Afghan government. We spent 20 years in place. The only people we talked to when I say we, The White House talk to was the Taliban, our enemy of 20 years, and we left Afghanistan without the consensus of the rest of the world. And we had 2500 troops there. We had 2500 troops and 20 places that can name around the world. We still have 50,000 troops in Japan and 40,000 in Germany and 35,000 in South Korea. This is not how the United States strategical leaves places and it created a catastrophe. And left Americans behind cost American lives left a 100,000 Afghan allies behind and left a 40 million vulnerable Afghans including 20 million women and little girls that we raped and for the rest of their life because of this. And so it's complete tragedy. And the world is watching our enemies are watching, which leads us into why Putin invaded Ukraine because he could. Because of the weakness in our White House and he postured against the imposture and the border with a 100,000 troops. Right. Joe, Joe Biden flinched, moved our U.S. troops out of Ukraine, moved our embassy out of Ukraine, the rest of the NATO partners followed and gave a green light for Putin to come in. And now we're sending a 113 plus $1 billion to Ukraine. None of that money is making it to help those people. It's a complete catastrophe. It's only it's only emboldening Putin and continue doing what he's doing and it's incentivizing people like zelensky who are getting all this money and never in this war because why they're making veins and dollars off of it, including corrupt politics in the United States.

US: No reason for China to react to Taiwan leader stopover
"The U.S. is trying to tamper any anger from China over an upcoming stopover by Taiwan's leader. I'm Lisa dwyer. The Biden administration is stressing to China that upcoming unofficial stopovers to the United States by Taiwan's president Tsai ing Wen should not be used as pretext by Beijing to increase aggressive activities in the Taiwan strait and that such transits are routine. Tsai is tentatively scheduled to transit through New York on March 30th before heading to Guatemala and Belize. She's expected to stop in Los Angeles on April 5th on her way back to Taiwan. Following an August visit by then House speaker Nancy Pelosi, Beijing launched missiles over Taiwan, deployed warships across the median line of the Taiwan strait and carried out military exercises near the island. So this was, again, if you go back and look at it, I don't think anybody can make anyone can objectively look at that video and not come to the same conclusion. This was a very managed. They spent 72 hours almost working on the response and then the quib that he threw in there like a zinger. It was supposed to be and look, he's going to run for president, right? So he's not running yet, but it's fair game. Trump's taking shots at you. You know, Barnes and he was talking about this last night. I totally agree. He's taking shots at you. You can take shots on him back. But if you want to explain to the Republican voter that you're serious and you understand where we are right now as a country, what we're facing, that this is a, you know, I hate to use this word, but that this is a war for the soul of the country. Then you need to be more serious in this. And he could have Ron DeSantis could add a big moment yesterday. Even though we waited, which he should not have, he could have had a big moment. That was a canned, very Scott walker like response for those who don't know what I'm talking about. Second presidential debate, Scott walker was once considered a very strong governor, strong candidate, the dark horse of anything. And he killed himself 48 hours after he made that mister president. We don't need an apprentice in The White House. Courtesy of George will's wife, who he handed his campaign to and she ran it in the ground, very much, by the way, the same group of people, the Paul Ryan consultant class that announced around Ron DeSantis. So it shouldn't surprise anybody that the kind of content you're getting out of Ron DeSantis is what we saw from Scott walker.

Grand Jury to Hear Another Witness Before Possible Trump Indictment

And so now the talk is that this may not happen until next week. I want to suggest that the former president has once again gotten so deep inside the heads of his opponents. They are spitting they are seething. This is the moment that they wanted to see. They have long dreamed of this president being led in handcuffs somewhere. I have a longtime friend. He's a very good person. He's just horribly misguided politically, but he has often talked about, well, this is the thing, right? They're going to go to The White House when Trump was in office. They're going to go to The White House. They're going to lead him out in cuffs. They just can not possibly get past the hatred they have for this individual. Simply because he had the audacity to support the American people and put government back in the hands of the people as opposed to the swamp monsters in Washington. This is all about power, and so they are going to try to misuse prosecutorial power to have him indicted. Well, again, the prosecutor there is a political hack. He ran on a campaign of saying, I'll get Trump even though others haven't.

Joe Biden's Unending Stream of Lies
"In the beginning of February, Joe Biden spoke before the assembled representatives of our government, regarding the current state of our union. The speech bears many similarities to the State of the Union Biden gave last year. And not in just topics, but also in the unending stream of lies our White House resident insists on peppering us with, with his every utterance, according to Biden, the deficit has been reduced, inflation is down, and jobs are growing at record rates. If this was even remotely true, Americans would be having a collective sigh of relief. Most people are grappling with these major problems on a daily basis. Biden also believes that granting citizenship to illegals will somehow solve the border crisis that pro life beliefs and laws are extremist, that it was COVID and not defund the police that is causing nationwide crime waves. And that the protesters martyred by police at the U.S. capitol represented the greatest threat to democracy since the Civil War. This second series of claims occupy that characteristically Biden esque sweet spot between utter stupidity and self serving political fable. He's either really that dumb or he thinks his audience is.

What Does Woke Mean?
"I was literally joking over the weekend. Next thing the left is going to say is coffee is racist. And then here it is. Here it is. Drinking coffee perpetuates white supremacy. These foods are woke, right? We can't take these people seriously. And they do not like us calling them woke, which is exactly why we should call them woke. Now, so again, let's just, let me make sure I just clarify. 'cause I said a few things and I said I'm pretty quickly, so I want you to understand they hate the left does hate the word woke because we, as a conservative or a constitutional movement, have managed to use their word against them. Remember, they used to use this word woke to talk about cultural awareness or cultural alertness specifically on social issues. Again, gay marriage was big and BLM when BLM was just a hashtag. So that's one. The second thing that the word woke does when you use by conservatives is it's all encompassing. They don't like that. You know, there was a time where liberals got to the point where they didn't want to be called liberals anymore. Even Hillary Clinton. So she went back to saying, I'm a progressive as if that were better. I mean, you could go see Woodford and FDR. They really tried to fundamentally transform the country as well, but she was like, oh, no, that's when, you know, the word liberal became a hot potato, so they didn't want to be called liberal, right? So then they wanted to be called progressives. Well, they don't want to be called woke. And so they don't like the way the way that we've gotten them into a dragnet. Now, what does woke mean if I'm being specific? Woke is simply this. It's whatever, and it should be somewhat ambiguous, all right? That's part of the weaponry. That's part of the political weaponry,

Taking the Word 'Woke' From the Left
"Now guys, you might be thinking Carl, why is this topic with woke the word woke such a big deal? It's a huge deal because it's a cultural indicator that we are starting to win. Here's what is really hard for those of us that are, let's say, on the right, if you will. I consider myself a constitutional restorationist. I believe that we're in a post. Judeo Christian, I believe we are in a post constitutional America, okay? That's where I believe that we're at. But I think that I don't think we've completely lost it or we can't restore it. All right, we've got plenty of fighters out there. The problem is this is not what's happened, what we've seen transpire from the left, how they destroyed the country, did not happen overnight. Now, it was, I mean, it was put on the fast track system during the COVID lockdowns. No doubt about it. But what they've been doing, trying to fundamentally transform the country. This is a, this is a project that's been going on from the left for a hundred years. And now conservatives are starting to fight back and realize it's more than just tax cuts. It's more than just elections. We gotta fight back in the cultural arena if you will. And we're starting to see inroads. People are starting to wake up and I'm gonna give you some examples.

Winning Against Wokeness
"I want to play an audio clip for you guys. The left try to dog our home girl I'll say Bethany mandel and Carol markowitz have written a book called stolen youth. I want you guys to go out and get it. And it's about how the left devastated youngsters all across the country with these whack behind lockdowns that did nothing, but exacerbate anxiety, depression, bad grades, put our kids behind, you name it. Didn't do anything to help the kids. So they talk about this stuff and all this woke nonsense. CRT DEI. Climate change that are impacting our children today scare the crap out of them. All right, so go out and get the book double down on the left is going after. They went after Bethany mandel. You know what? Go ahead and get her book again, she co authored co authored it with Carol markowitz. This is me just wanting to fight back against the left. And you're gonna be able to do it with their book. Now they're not a sponsor or anything like that. But I think this is very, very important. This is how we fight back. All right, so they're gonna stick the media on one of ours. All right, all right, we're gonna help them sell more books. But I do wanna play an audio clip for you. So this is what this moment went viral. All right, again, Bethany mandel, she's the co author of stolen youth this moment went viral. I want you to understand the background because she wrote a column over the weekend. And she explained what was happening at the time. She goes on this show the rising a show that put on by the hill, which is an online publication, but they have a YouTube channel or a regular television cable channel. I'm not sure it's been a long time since I've seen the scene of the show, frankly. But she appeared on the show. And she had a little brain fart, if you will, in the middle of the interview. But in the background, this chick has 6 kids that she and her husband are homeschooling. She had just got on. She was just dealing with two of her kids. She heard one of the hosts, I believe, if I recall her column correctly, say something kind of outlandish, kind of a dig towards, you know, families that have a bunch of kids. So here she was dealing with her kids right before she gets on. She hears something from them that kind of sounds like a dig. She's postured ready to go on defense almost after she hears this. But she but she's on to talk about her book. So here's the audio clip of Bethany mandel, the liberals went absolutely nuts, but they're not gonna win. We're about to beat their behinds in just a sec, but I want you to hear this. Audio clip, number one, pop up or Sean. And for Americans consider themselves very liberal. And probably fewer of them consider themselves to be woke. And so, you know, when we started that year, would you mind defining well because it's come up a couple times that I just want to make sure we're all on the same page. So, I mean, woke is sort of the idea that. This is going to be one of those moments that goes viral. I mean, woke is something that's very hard to define, and we've spent an entire chapter defining it.

Republicans Assail New York Prosecutor Investigating Trump

So Jordan noted that the statue of limitations for any alleged crimes involving the former president is set to expire soon, likely explaining Bragg's rush to indictment. So, the Republican led house on Monday sent a letter to the Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg demanding that he testify about his possible indictment of former president Donald Trump overcharges, allegedly related to hush money payments to adult porn actress stormy Daniels. The letter was sent by judiciary committee chairman rep Jim Jordan, who was joined by House oversight committee James comer and house administrative administration committee chairman Brian Steele. The letter was obtained by Fox News and it says here and I quote, in light of the serious consequences of your actions, we expect that you will testify about what plainly appears to be a politically motivated prosecutorial decision. "Brittany Cooper writes at the Vanguard of cultural criticism. All right, let's continue this deep talk. Rutgers university professor. The world didn't start when white people arrived in America and tried to tell all the rest of us how things were going to go. There were people out here making worlds, Africans, and indigenous people being brilliant and, you know, libraries and inventions. In North America, you know how much she has said that I never knew wow, like all of the trans oceanic voyages of blacks and browns to one another between Africa and the new world. Never knew that and never knew about the indigenous peoples libraries and inventions. How do you have a library without an alphabet? Answer that Sean, you bigot, you read headed white supremacist, answer that one. It is an interesting question. How could there be libraries if you don't have an alphabet? American indigenous Indians did not have alphabets. But they had libraries. Please understand this is what your kids hear. At college. Truth is not a left wing value. Among other conclusions to be drawn from this foolish, mendacious rant, continue. Vibrant notions of humanity and cross cultural exchange long before white people showed up being raggedy and violent and terrible and trying to take everything from everybody. And that's really important because if we believe that history starts for us when white people drag us to the shores, then we can never get outside of the notion that this is going to be our existential struggle. All things that begin in. White folks are not infinite. If we I assume blacks believe that our history starts when white people brought us here, we can not get out of our existential struggle. What is the existential struggle of a modern black America? I promise you I ask that openly. I don't know what she's talking about. Please continue. And eternal, right? They ain't gonna go on for infinity and infinity. And that's super important to remember that white colonialism and imperialism has a beginning and in my way of thinking about the world. That means it has an end and so part of what we are trying to do is to imagine what it what are the steps that we must take to get to the other side of this very inconvenient, you know, a Paco interruption of like black and indigenous world making. I mean, does that give people comfort on a day to day when you like just having to deal with white folks and the travesties that they create in the sense that they want to destroy the planet? Nah. There is a world beyond even our sojourn on the earth. And so whiteness is going to have an end date because it is not despite what white people think of themselves. They do not defy the laws of eternity, right? Their projects are not so sophisticated that the natural laws of physics change for them. And when we sort of humble them in our own understandings of whiteness, it seems like the biggest giant that we face, but in the end, it is what I like to say is, you know, black folks were out here for centuries and centuries and millennia doing all kinds of wonderful things and probably some up things too, but whiteness is largely an inconvenient interruption. And so we then get to ask ourselves, so why am I here in this moment of hit like, damn, you know? Why did I show up in this particular iteration? And it's like, well, I think we showed up in this iteration precisely so that we could help to figure out an end and a way to the other side of this, you know, okay. So you were created a black at this time to end white. This evening has been been hoping that you drop in. "So I played for you the first hour. An English teacher at oroville high school in California, saying that rules of grammar and composition are white supremacist. I've come to the conclusion that for most parents, there is no level of the graded rhetoric by teachers that would prompt them to take their kids out of the school. Your boy is a girl, your girl is a boy. America is a racist cesspool, whites in the want to be villains, teaching correct grammar is a form of white supremacy, we have reached the point, and this is really one of the saddest things I've ever said. Where parents desire for comfort, and it is discomforting in the beginning, not over time. To take your child out of school, is greater than their desire to enable their child to have decent people teach their child. I could play for you truly despicable things that so called teachers say to your children every day in almost every school and parents will still send their children to the school. Inertia is more powerful perhaps than any other force. But on the assumption that at least one of you will take your child out of school will reconsider sending your child to almost any college in the country, I play this as a service. This is a professor named Brittany Cooper. Afrikaner and gender studies. At Rutgers university, begins with in the aggregate all whites all. Want to be villains. We continue. Say to you, is we got to take these mothers out. But I know but we can't say that, right? We can't say. I don't know. That's really something. This is truly a degraded human being. There's no shame in her. I guess speaking on a higher level is a form of white supremacy. We have to take these mother ephors out. This is a professor at Rutgers. Will anything be done to her? If a white professor said this about anybody, any other race would that person have another day at school? Remember, in order to be a college president, you must be a coward. It is one of the qualities that is insisted upon. Upon taking a leadership position as a dean, or administrator, or president of a college, continue please. In a project of violence, I truly don't, 'cause I think in the end that our souls suffer from that. And I do think that some of this is the spiritual condition. So here is where I land most days about white people. And I actually have been helping this by thinking about indigenous people, right?.

If that's true, the whole in my historical knowledge is really embarrassing. Continue please. Litigation domination in colonialism. We have seen what a show this iteration of treatment of other human beings means and that my hope is that we would do it differently, you know, in the moments when we have some power. We will not do it perfectly, but I do think that all of us can sort of agree that our politics is like there are superior just out of curiosity. How do black Democrats govern differently from white Democrats? Since blacks, she would hope would do it differently, so we have actually a test case, the United States of America. The four largest cities in the United States now have black mayors. How are they governing differently than white mayors of the same party? Are they doing a better job? Is there greater peace on earth? What is it New York, Houston, Chicago, LA? Are things improving because the mayors are black? They're rhetorical question. We continue. The fear of human beings just in the way to go. And that's the thing that white people don't trust us to do because they are so corrupt. You know, they're thinking is so morally and spiritually bankrupt. There you go. My people are so corrupt and morally inspired. But whites are racist about. What have I said a hundred times if I've said it once. The lack of self awareness of people on the left is, well, I can't think of a better term in breathtaking..

"Continue please. You know, I've heard people sort of say it is one I think that white people viscerally fear. It's not that white people don't know, right? What they have done. They know. They fear that there is no. What does it mean? White people know what they have done. You see, you get away with this stuff at the university. That's why the teachers don't want to be recorded generally. This woman obviously is happy to be recorded. Generally they hate being recorded and I don't blame them because of the nonsense that they utter. White people know what they have done. So I assume she's referring to white people enslaving blacks and white people in wars with the indigenous people, the Indians of North America. So, does she know other things that white people have done? Does she take medicines that white people have developed? Inordinately, one might ask? Does she benefit from the staggering affluence that white people created in the western world? And especially in the United States, white people know what they have done. Did black people not keep slaves? Did indigenous people not keep slaves? What does it even mean? This is the type of stuff your child is being taught in college. What a lime, white people know what they have done. Okay, we continue. Other way to be human, but the way in which they are human, which is to so you know, like you tried to white people. And whenever you really want to have a reckoning about it, they say stuff like, you know, it's just human nature. If y'all had all of this power, you would have done the same thing. So this is, by the way, she just goes from point to point, nothing is developed, but I'll take it, obviously, point for point. If, in fact, that is what white people she's talked to have said their entirely right. What people with power have not abused it. Non white people? Tell me whom. Who has great power who has had great power in history. And it has not been morally corrupting. Chinese Japanese. Blacks in Africa, Arabs, whom. Who? It's not slavery that distinguished white people. It's ending slavery. That has distinguished white people. At least those in Britain and America and gradually, of course, the rest of Europe. We'll continue with this in a moment..

"I'd like you to hear a high school teacher as she high school. This is a high school. In oroville, California, was it a TikTok? Yes. So if you are watching my show, you can actually see this fool. Another female teacher ruining children and the civilization in which we live. Their stupidity is equaled by their arrogance. How does a society produce people who say the following? This is an English teacher. Who condemns rules of English grammar as white supremacy. I've always said, if these people are to be taken seriously, then they're making the case for white supremacy. If only whites believe in grammatical rules, that's a staggering insult. To non white people and be a staggering compliment to white people. No rules. Okay, here she is. You can see her if you want at the Salem news channel, but here you can hear her. Oroville. Go ahead. As an educator, I am constantly worried if I am part of the problem. What do I mean by that? Well, public education is an institution that upholds lots of problematic systems in our society like white supremacy and misogyny and colonization, et cetera. Okay, hold on, hold on. We produce more on robots in our colleges, especially among those in education. What was the threesome there was a white supremacy and misogyny and colonization wow. We do? What they do on the left is they make affirmations that have nothing to do with truth. And they never hear a rebuttal, by the way, I respectfully invite this teacher on to my show. Go ahead, please. At systems in our society like white supremacy and misogyny and colonization, et cetera. In my role as an educator, I try to undermine that BS in my classroom as much as I possibly can. I teach high school English and whoo. The white supremacy runs deep. What do I mean by that? Well, let's look at how we write essays. Start with an introduction that includes a thesis. Always cite your sources. Use transition words like however, and therefore. These are all made up rules, they're arbitrary, they were created by westerners and power. Okay, hold on. Hold on. Did you hear that? This jackass teaches your children. There are hundreds of thousands of her. The idea that there should be an introduction, and then a thesis, and that sources be cited, these are made up by westerners by whites, arbitrarily. By the way, I was thinking when she said it so is red stop and green is go. It was made up by white, colonizers of the continent. I'm shaking my head because I always ask myself at what point does the parent who loves his or her child to take the child out of school? And homeschool the child, were sent to the child to one of the few high schools or elementary schools that actually teaches, yes, when you write, you should have an introduction, a thesis. Oh, cite your sources. Wow. Citing sources is white supremacy. It's a white idea to cite sources. What a compliment to white. So blacks don't think you need the site sources. Asians don't think you have to cite sources, you can say anything you want without any source, please continue. This is practical. This April baker bell calls this the language of respectability or the language of power. She got me thinking, what if I started in my school year with a unit honoring how we talk rather than teaching students how to write properly? So this is the start of my series. I'm teaching linguistics in high school. Yeah, there you go. The abolition of standards, another left wing destruction of all that is good. As you know, it is much easier to destroy than to construct than to build and that's part of the appeal of leftism. You get a sense of accomplishment, effortlessly. Blowing up a building is much easier than building a building. So she's going to teach she's an English teacher and she will teach that any way you talk this appropriate. We goes to the market. That's fine. We go to the market, is white talk. Well, the Oregon education department beat her to it. They said, correct answers in math is white supremacy. If education schools close be a better society. You all have helped build my pillow into the incredible company it is today and have trusted in Mike lindell to give you a great night's sleep..

"Get my point, but, you know, this shit works both ways. I'll give you two examples that still piss me off. When the runaway Broadway hit Hamilton, recast all the white founders of this country as black people, is that not racist or an example of cultural appropriation? And then recently two sign language interpreters who work on The Lion King were fired. Solely because their wife and The Lion King's cast is black and the show is set in Africa. Fired because they're white. In 2022, that is racism by the very definition of racism. Over the last decade, most shows with diverse casts disproportionately have a person of color as the boss, supervisor, a judge, a lead detective, a wedding officiator. You name it. No one calls that racist. One of my favorites is when Gail Gadot was cast as Cleopatra. I say godot. Some people say good dough. I like the dough better. I think a dot is how they say. Either way, beautiful Gal Gadot. She was cancerous Cleopatra. And the woke mob got outrage. How could a white woman play Cleopatra, the African Queen? Well, first of all, gal is not white per se. She's Arab, she's Israeli. That's really not white if you want to get technical. And you know, by the way, Cleopatra was Greek, not African. So, you know, take a history course. But you really, you just can't win with them. If white people aren't cast in their films or TV shows, it's called diversity. If we cast no other races on our shows or movies, it's called racism. We may as well just go back into the times of segregation with these people. What is racist is allowing one race to bully the entire country with cries of racism, particularly when it comes, you know, from demanding they only be portrayed as saints and gods

"His parachute didn't open after he jumped from his airplane, and then authorities found the plane about 60 miles away and that began the investigation. Thornton had the directed the aircraft toward the Atlantic Ocean, and he settled on autopilot figuring, I'll jump out now, I have all the Coke on me and the plain old crash in the ocean and they'll figure the guy who was piloting it is dead, eaten by sharks, whatever. But turns out he wasn't the only casualty. In his final drug smuggling moves, let's go to November of 85, two months, a month later. Some hunter finds a dead black bear in chattahoochee national forest, a 175 pound bear. And right near that bear was a duffel bag that had initially carried around 77 pounds of cocaine. This bear came upon it. And he got into the blow, and he overdosed. And as it's already later figured out, by the way, the flight path was, et cetera, that this had to be the plane with the drugs on it, and the guy that died and they put it all together. So that story about the bear dying of cocaine is obviously gotten the Hollywood treatment. Elizabeth Banks is directing it, I saw the trailer and like I said, the other day and I'm not joking. Never before has there been a movie about drugs and I consider fun for the whole family. I really mean it. I don't want your kids to see grown-ups doing blow with a rolled up $100 bill. But a bear eating a kilo? Not that bad. The kids will think he ate poison. They won't know, but you guys will know. But what a story. I mean, they find this bear and next films an empty duffel bag that they later deduce holy shit. This is where all the Coke was. This bear must have died of an overdose. Because eventually they found all 40 bags of cocaine were opened and empty. And the chief medical examiner in Georgia. Went to the bear's stomach and said it was literally packed to the brim with cocaine. He estimated that the bear had absorbed probably only three to four grams of the substance into its bloodstream at the time of his death, but he still had all that other cope and his belly. A fatal dose for human they say is about 7 and a half grams of Coke and this bear having never touched the stuff, died after four grams, but really the cocaine in the stomach is what eventually absolutely had to do him in. That's just poisoned down there. That's like when drug mules swallow condiments full of cocaine and if they open up an rupture, you dominate all that Coke in your system. Well, that Coke rushing into your bloodstream. You're dead. You're dead. They eventually call this bear Pablo Escobar. And then he finally got the name cocaine bear, some enterprising local had given him that nickname, but that wasn't the last mystery cocaine bear would be involved in. The chief medical examiner thought it would be a shame to waste the bear so we had a friend taxidermy and at first a gifted the band to the chattahoochee river national recreation area, but then the bear was moved to a storage bin to protect it from the threat of wildfires and in that storage unit it disappeared.

"Because now he's like a kind of a hermit, he doesn't really do movies anymore and he said so and his big Malibu place and paint. He's got a big studio where he paints these massive canvases. That's fine. He's a creative guy. I love to be able to have a big studio on pink too. I could totally get it to paint it. I've painted in the past, but smaller canvases. I love it. Relaxing, it's creative, you feel good at the end of the day, it takes time, like writing a book, it just takes time. So I get all that. But I think he's never been the same since. His girlfriend. The Irish chick with the weird name. Kathrina, catherina white. White. Yeah. She overdosed. And her ex-husband, who was still friends with her, claimed that she overdosed on pills that Jim Carrey gave her. Percocet, propanolol, and ambien. Because there was still bottles in the house with his name on them, that doesn't look good for him, but then again, he could have said she stole them from me and that doesn't look good for her. Either way, she died. But then like a year later, this laptop surfaced in which she accused him of giving a herpes and other STDs, I don't think he's had a great day since then. I really don't. I think that I think that Florida embarrassed him to no end, but also I think I just floored him and took a lot of wind out of his sails, but who knows, who knows? Speaking of overdoses, everybody's talking about the new movie coming out called cocaine bear. Cocaine bear. I talk about this movie when it before I was a movie, but it was optioned and when there were attaching and director and there weren't even actors cast, and I said back then, two years ago, I can't wait to see this movie. Because it's based on a true story of a bear ingesting so much cocaine that he died. But this story is amazing. The story of cocaine bear begins with a body in a driveway. This guy, Andrew Thornton, the second was a paratrooper, a police officer, and a lawyer before he turned into he turned to drug smuggling. And he was moving loads of cocaine into America from Columbia, and he would take his sesta 404 up in the air and make these runs and he was having a ball. But law came to an end in September of 1985 when police discovered his dead body in a driveway and Knoxville, Tennessee, and he had been heavily armed, he had on a bulletproof vest. He was carrying thousands of dollars in cash and also oh, by the way, 77 pounds of cocaine valued at $14 million, which was stuffed into a duffel bag, strapped around his waist. And he might have gotten away with it again, but

"A lot of support from buffalo here to your point now that kansas city's defenses looked so bad through the first month of the season whereas buffalo is one of the few teams. Yeah their defense has been great to shutouts already. They're also very good offensively buffalo's maybe the most complete team the nfl right now and i agree with everything you said about alan. Everything's set for him to succeed. He's got a great defense to put them in a great position. he's got a very easy schedule that division. He's got a very good coaching staff. And they've put some weapons around him. So everything is there for allen to seize the league mvp and emerges as one of the best players in the league which. I believe that he is so. I think I think this game will be a part of the mvp discussion. But it's really more about buffalo's final record. Could be so good because their schedule is so easy and they keep winning. These games so easily I think allan allan definitely very live to be the mvp. Yeah i mean that's the whole point right so just to recap thirteen. Fourteen have been quarterbacks. Eleven of those thirteen have been a one or two seat so that that's why i was mentioning that earlier so obviously kansas city gets a third loss and its first five games going to be really tough for it to kind of get up there if you will but you're looking team total like twenty seven ish You know twenty twenty plus money. I mean look patrick. Mahomes is awesome. I just if he pulls a game out in such a short line. I just trust that buffalo is going to be able to score against this defense. I don't think we've we've made. We've made the whole thing about the two quarterbacks and that's going to be the narrative but the bottom line is at allen. Has a lot more around him to mahomes does right now. I think just in terms of having nothing helps a quarterback more than having a great defense always giving him good field position not having to put points on the board mahomes just having to do a lot on his own. I mean he's got some good weapons around him but his defense let him down big time and their offense line hasn't really looked too good from what i've seen so alan is in a much easier position to succeed in the mahomes. Mahomes was asked to do a lot more nice run for the bills team combined score in their last two wins ninety nine zero. Didn't they destroy the redskins in between those two shutouts. I mean like an like that was the one game where like buffalo's defense didn't pitcher shutout. So alan actually had to do something. And he threw for like four hundred yards and five touchdowns or something i mean. Buffalo is a machine right now and they're very effective on both sides of the ball. Yeah they win forty-three twenty-one so so sorry they've they've outscored their opponents by ninety nine something like that. I butchered that. But it's you know there's something about nine. Maybe they've covered the spread but the nfl in cover margin right now. Averaging like plus thirteen point nine two touchdowns of course it helps when you win. Forty two zero thirty five zero. That skews the numbers a little bit. But you're right data. I've really convincing win. Was i load up on that game. I laid the seven seven and a half in that game. And i pressed at halftime. Those are the fun game and we. We can't use buffalo and survivor. You know we talked last week about that. That's what we that's what i used. I don't understand. I know people were telling me they were going to save them for week. Seventeen at home against atlanta week. Eighteen at home against the jets. I i don't think you can be saving somebody for week. Seventeen right now are we. Just we just don't know what the league is gonna look like weeks so definitely not week. Eighteen never wanted to last week but also just depends on how big your pool is right. I mean so like if you're a fifteen person pool probably not go seventeen weeks but if you're in a huge monumental and then it's likely to even with a huge upset here and there monday night football this ravens team obviously struggled a little choppy. The gates blew the leader of the raiders in the opener. Bounce back nice win against the chiefs had the had the tucker field goal against detroit and then solid win last week so they only have one loss on the year and starting to find their sea legs if you will after the all. The injuries disrupted things. I would imagine to start. Colts finally get a win. And you're looking at seven point spread in the old There's there's there's gotta be some you know the baltimore indie. You know boomer is going to have a nickel the moving truck or something. You know something like that. I don't think the people that listen to show probably don't even remember the that the colts moved to baltimore. That was so long. it'll the night with drugs. Yeah oh sure sure The colts look good on sunday. Nice win at miami. I liked them last week. They still got a lot of injuries. They're dealing with quinn. Nelson's out for this game. They got some banged up guys on defense. This total has been bet down quite a bit and we opened this. Total forty nine and a half. We've all the way down to five and a half. Some really sharp groups came out on the under in this game So keep an eye on that. There's really not a whole lot to report on the side No one's really looking at his game right now. In terms of the side betting the public has public not paying any attention. They're focused on the rams tonight and then some of the favorites on sunday like green bay. There's really very little action on this game as compared to the last couple of monday. Night games philadelphia. Dallas and raiders chargers had really good right on those games but so far this. We're not getting much attention home. Teams four no. Ats so far this season on monday night. Football for whatever that's worth although row teams are the ones covering on thursdays which is kinda funny. But who knows all right man i. Time for the bonanza..

"Good. And you know that. I've i've said before. I think the jets should've kept darnold and then tried to trade that second overall. Pick down somebody that was looking to move up and take wilson or lance. That's what i would have done. I mean and wilson minded of being good. But i've always been darnold apologised. I've i've always liked him and he he's. It's hard to coaching now. He's got real coaching. Wanna and it's show minus one seventy quarterback of the dallas cowboys. He's in the mvp conversation to tend to one. I think not say it's free money because anything can happen. But that's that should be like minus three hundred like he. Who's knocking over at this point. I can't i can't say that off slowing down. There's no slowing down that off. It's now he's gonna just start playing poorly. I agree with that because the cowboys the cowboys just have talent all over the place i mean the only way that they would be slowed down would be because mike mccarthy's coach The talent level. There is through the very good team. Dallas only team still undefeated. Ats this season four now and they are seven point home favorites. Another game So far the only undefeated team to the only undefeated team overall arizona. Four no they were fifty to one an index betting to be the last undefeated team in the nfl. So well done for anyone who jumped on the cardinals there. It's a really tough spot from arizona standpoint but they are catching san francisco at the right time. I mean niners. Got some jimmy shoes. Trae lance looked loss inserted mid game last week. Although they did out gain seattle by two hundred forty yards. I want to say so. It was outlook on seattle. That game gave it away. In the bonanza they were seattle was lucky to be tied at half. Should not have been and then ozzie. Lance and all that stuff so i if i had to play this i would take the five and a half but it's not like niners or not that sharp man. They're not the same offense when they were healthy. Couple years ago super bowl. Ron defense isn't quite as potent. There's just guys aren't open as awesome shannon is but he's obviously much better in the dog role than he is the favourite. Yeah i've been really disappointed. The niners Through four weeks. I thought they were going to be one of the best teams in the nfc seasonal and just because they they got healthy. They've added trent williams. Williams got hurt and that seattle game. Keep an eye on that. He left that game. Jimmy jeez out for this game sunday. Everyone is gonna bet arizona. I mentioned earlier. That are most one-sided tic account is green bay cincinnati that is true. The second most one-sided your second most lopsided count excuse me arizona. We're in san francisco pretty big in this game. It's not gonna be as much of a volume game as bears raters. That's why in terms of dollars. We'll be more bears. Fans and forty niners fans but the public is all over arizona in this game big time so we will be rooting for san francisco. Kyle murray now. The nfl mvp favourite at the super bowl. We've got him at ninety. Two homes is five to one josh allen seventy-one dak prescott eight to one. We open calamari twenty five to one. He's been unbelievable for the first four weeks and four the last five or five of the last six. Mvp winters were at one point. Twenty five to one or longer entering the season so just crazy if that trend continues i've been not poo pooing it but i've been saying easy. He might just keep he might be the mvp. I mean i have been saying. Don't buy too late. You've missed it. But you know people so that tanya when he was like two to one and of course he closed minus four thousand so i just don't have arizona's going to have a one or two seat and usually that is the kind of cut off for mvp but we've had outlier cases. We'd in other sports. We just had on smith when the heisman we've had russell westbrook is sixty in the nba. Win the heisman so if they get in the playoffs as a five seat of four seed and he's like dynamic and awesome with stats and everything he could easily get paid. Manning won it twice not being a one or two seed or you got the sunday night game this week. That could go a long way to shaping the nfl mvp pool. Because you've got in my opinion. The two best young quarterbacks in the nfl. i would take these guys slightly ahead. Justin herbert mahomes allen. Our second and third favorite's going ahead on sunday night. Football really of much. Better game than the extremely hyped game last week. Which was i understand why that game was so high. I'm not downplaying it but this is. This is probably the best sunday night football match up for the whole year. You've got buffalo going to kansas city. So yeah. I wanna talk more about this because i. It's funny i wrote. This is the kind of like a swing game if you will potentially for the mvp because currently so even with a game at kansas city buffalo has the third easiest schedule remaining according to fbi so if they just get through kansas city. What if they win here. They're two and a half point road underdogs. Then i think josh allen is like your second favorite or favourite because obviously i want assuming he's gonna play well if they wind and us they only have they have road game tampa road game at new orleans. That's it like their divisions easier than we thought now because of the injury to two and the patriots not quite there yet and buffalo just looked sharp like they are solid so kansas city so we had a walled. Fbi on the show just basically the chiefs defense is like last a lot of candidates like that bad not in the past. They've just been sort of average which has been enough for that offense but casey's defense is really bad they get the cover last week. Finally double digit win so there are three and thirteen or something like that in their last sixteen. Ats dating back to last year including the playoffs. I like buffalo. Here i just do. I like their team total over. It's.

Let give us a break your castle on over here but you got this all. I have a good old google news. All right and we'll do christian akiba say she's not here. Praise god bear with me. All right i think call conversation. Does what you guys may acer. It gets nascent you guys all right. New jersey firefighter and his wife are charged with sexual assaulting eighteen boy side their home according to burlington county prosecutor. Scott co fina. The firefighter his wife had been charged with second degree sexual assault if third degree endangering the welfare of the now that they befriended in her quest for the table. Today friends is who can you really trust them. You can't trust people who take an oath to serve and protect. What was i. try with. Brees matt he was a child. Does they agreed witted. But when i read the article because i actually resources they didn't give his age so he could have been like seventeen romance prosecuted teen and the the wife actually lured him for minus than one of the websites that the wife lured him so in other words it was almost like the guy was friends with the husband. And i'm just putting together. The guy was the husband you know you have your little teenage for in the neighborhood. He was hanging out with the husband and the wife was quote unquote. She looked like she somebody that would have sex with a teenager but the wife was trying to say origin The guy was like mexican hispanic in the wife was look like she's from like like hillbilly so she looked like she have sex kids like But i don't put that. I don't like i don't feel like he really was four it unless he was allowed the teenager to have sex with his wife. I'm gonna say think it's disgusting just like this guy that famous guy that he's gay. He's he's like a fitness person. He was a firefighter as well. On one of the people over the watchtower performed child porn. And that's where it's too many free by giving away for free mason with children. I don't care. I don't care if that's how finance way to eighteen little people get your girlfriend. That could be like have address like a little kid. And you know what i'm saying. I'll go get you bert. Chested woman in just half a pro play fantasy. So i'm not young. People do spanish schoolgirls this place for me feel so the question was if says who can you really trust. If you can't trust the people who took an author seats to serve to save an protect supposed to be serving protect as well but my whole thing is. I'm not surprised by anything. Serve and protect means. We believe serving protect means some firefighters and police officers. Don't believe that So we have we see that in situations with black young men getting shot people get shot in general so firefighters are no different than human. They can make mistakes so it ended after thing. They gotta do a lot more vetting they got. I think it's too easy to get them. Positions like you know you can go to barbara school longer than you go to. Police academy that's impossible. You go to a bar school longer than you do a police again. So seen that on instagram or somewhere. That's not that's so we just gotta do a better job in the people that we pick this. Because you know it's almost like when you marry somebody you know when you get married. They say the first three years you've got before you propose give them three years because of their true selves gonna come out. I think it's the same when you put people notice type position. You can't just go for what they say. You gotta do some deep investigations and see what type of people we put in those positions. Yeah man trust. I mean like i said i just witnessed someone to kill. Somebody said who can't run to kooky lived persia and everywhere we go. We had a fight off like like like newton's or something deep in this purse thing was is two segments in that this you went up our republican. I sir no i do not wanna purge. I love people. his love. Peace of happiness bump telling you you have to be prepared to fight guys. You have to be prepared to fight. I agree with that. But i guess i'm confused because we're talking about that's how being molested and take advantage of buy to grow people. So that's why gaffey did they should be prosecuted to the full. Thanks kobe gotta go to good old commercial rate. Goggle good okay. I got paid these bills guys. Burma hump day has just gotten better. Talking about dr dre as a straight daughter she started a gofundme me for a desperate situation Doing some research and come to find out that they have spoken eighteen years. Dr dre cutter off simply because She was talking a lot about him in the media. So i guess their relationship fell off and right now she's home. She has four children and my question. Flip aggressive my question for y'all is You think when do you stop taking care of your children. At what point do you say you know what you're grown now and it's time for you to be responsible and handle handle life for yourself That's a hard question for me. "Really curious now. Here's why felt indicted by. I felt like this was a show about complicity. And i felt like it was a show about the difference between let's take for example the newlywed couple. The interior story of the newlywed couple is that he is a monstrous bully and she is a generally decent person who is realizing much too late. That the guy she has married is a horrible bullying in the interior story. They encourage you to kind of feel for her for her frustration because he is such a jerk award on your honeymoon a hole up in the hotel room just some disposable garbage. I thought garbage. Yeah fine but it's like took so many of the assignments they give you. Click b gussied up a somewhat high-minded trendy. Whoa there's an appearance by his mother played by the great molly shannon. Who shows up. And you understand rachel's frustration and her anger and how she feels like her sexist jerk. Husband is such a pain to be around at the same time and i think without revealing where they're going with the story i will say i wound up feeling like there's a difference between the interior story and how they interact with the larger world as privileged people in which it really doesn't matter because as long as she is with him she is benefiting from him being a bully. she's staying in the nicer room. She is getting the treatment that he inspires by being a bully. And i felt the same way about the character of tanya the jennifer coolidge character. You are encouraged in the interior story. There's a whole story about her grieving for her mother. She's gonna scatter her ashes. There's a story about where her life is regarding relationships with men but it doesn't matter to how she interacts with the world as a privileged person. And this was why. I think i was able to understand why it was so focused on those people. Is that the focus on them. Gives all this space to build up their humanity in these interior stories. And they make you realize freight but they still have the same effect on the world around them unless they do something actively not to. And that's the difference between to me this show in succession. Those people are just horrible. You get very little of those interior stories. That are like oh. This person is very sympathetic in this interior story with a couple of exception. Yeah we wanna talk about relatable. Can we talk about the teenage girls. A second I spent a long time trying to get a fix on what function they were serving like what they were doing in the store are they the chorus and then i realize no no. They're macbeth's witches. They are monsters. But they're also truth tellers and how much of this show is characters knowing that they're being actively appraised by these two and found wanting that's something related to anyone who's walked down the street and seeing a group of teenagers. I also appreciate that. The pala character and paula is an interesting version of the upstairs downstairs because she is along with this white family as sort of a plus one and she wouldn't be able to go to this resort if not for them and so that kind of ways on her but at the same time. She's also kind of insufferable in some scenes in the way that most college sophomores or whatever can be like. I'm sure i was in that vein. I also really appreciated that. Dynamic i think tanya and belinda were my favorite sort of dynamic but pollen olivia. I think have another really interesting dynamic. It made me think a lot about zola and the way in which that film which we discussed on another episode was about this weird dynamic between white and black friends acquaintances. Obviously the damage a little different here because these are you know dave known each other for a while there sort of best friends but there's several moments in the show where it's very clear that even olivia as woke quote unquote as she thinks. She is as progressive as she thinks she is. She's clearly basically her mom played by cutting bringing she's just a younger version but thinks she is. You know the more enlightened one and that to me is even scarier than the connie britton tight right and her mother and father are kind of looking at her the whole time like. Why is she like this. But it's like you for her. Learned it from watching watching. You can just play a clip. That sort of encapsulates that distilled into this one conversation between olivia and her dad. This seems like all of the white straight men are doing. Just fine still thriving. I mean for years. I was one in the room saying that's not cool to chauvinist bigots now on the back guy or at least i shouldn't say anything on account of my inherited traits. That was part of my issue is just like so much of it. Felt like you copy and pasted from twitter. No tumblers writing the screenplay. It's not that far from though. Of course it's pretty close to what people actually say. It's extremely well delivered like the disdain and the daughter's voice it's just olivia inside her own family versus olivia's impact on other people. And i think paula to. It's not lost on anybody. I think who watches the show. That paul is the only one of these guests who is a person of color and she's the only person who really expresses any interest in or sympathy with the people on the staff and these are really the people that you don't see very much of the people on the staff who are native. Hawaiian who among other things are seeing elements of hawaiian culture sort of turned into entertainment for tourists. She's really the only person who cares about that. And so inside her conversations with olivia and with the family. She's the person who has some awareness of that but then sort of. Where do you go with that when you are also with this family. You're benefiting from them bringing you with them but you're very uncomfortable with how they treat. Sometimes you sometimes other people. I don't know what you do is like conscripts one of the brown people who you feel like you're in alliance with to you know what i mean like. It was actually really sharp about the show was like she was. You know kind of sanctimony. It's kind of like the money. She was real sanctimonious. Oh yeah she. Basically convinces this native hawaiian key with whom she's having this summer fling to do something that will have enormous consequences for him but not necessarily have consequences for her so to your point. Linda like about the sort of interior logics that they use versus like the way they interact with the world like even though she is not them she clearly is like proximate enough to them to be operating. You.
