Atlanta Hawks-New York Knicks Series Preview
"Let's get to the four or five nacho. This one is interior. Going to be a lot more entertaining. Probably the one. Eight matchup gets underway. Knicks hawks sunday at seven pm eastern on live from madison square garden. The best place you could ever go to watch a basketball game. The knicks swept the season series. A couple of those games. You know nate. Mcmillan wasn't even the coach so they were earlier in the year but keys to the series before we get to our predictions for nick's hawks. Trade started on this one. Well i think. Julius randle has an opportunity and a strong chance at being the best player in this series. He was incredible against the hawks. During the year in three games he was over thirty points per game to forty point games. He had a game winning tip as well. Clearly i'm tap dancing right now. I'm trying to pull up these splits here. You know you mess around with your tabs so much during a show it just throws the was saying julius randle thirty seven points per game. Twelve rebounds six assists. He had the game winning tip as well. He dominated the hawks this season. There's no doubt about it. They just don't have a great matchup for him though. We'll talk about some things. They're gonna do a little bit later on. I'm sure but i do think randall is going to produce at the very least the question will be. Where do the knicks. Then get all of their other points. They've had some great shooting this season. They got five guys shooting better than forty percent i think. Derrick rose has a chance to have a really good series here but skeets. I was listening to your podcast with l g do set on the. I meant you were talking about guys. Who have tyler hero. Potential somebody to explode in the playoffs who also has a cool factor. Let me offer you. Rj barrett my pick for this season's tyler hero forty percent from three during the season. Hit some big shots late. He was at forty seven from three point line for the last two months of the season. He really heated up. the shot. seems real. And i don't know he seems like a bit of a cool customer after getting called out by anthony edwards gimme rj barrett to be the secondary star for the knicks in this series. Because they've got to figure out a way to get to basically one hundred points

How to Think Like a Breadwinner and Transform Your Money With Jennifer Barrett
"What are some of the steps that you should think about as the breadwinner. That should maybe be top of mind. Sure i mean it starts with your income right. Because that's the springboard for all your wealth building efforts and what that means really from the gecko although it's never too late to stop in. Look at this very mindfully. Is planning your career strategically. In order to ensure the income you make we'll support the life and maybe the family that you want and then of course is negotiating to be sure you're earning the most you can in any role and that really means Doing some research to find out what people in your role in your area are earning on average and all that data is is now available and kind of making sure you're at the top that range and then more than that really focusing in your career. If you're on career. Not an entrepreneur on the promote oval. Work that will really help to advance your career and your income because research shows that women are much more likely to take on what's called office housework or other non promotional work than men are and that can really hold us back. I mean obviously. There are a lot of barriers that many of us have to overcome as women in the workforce and certainly women of color. But this is something that we can control right the work that we take on the work that we say no to and it really comes back to this idea of like career. Planning is not just about figuring out what it is you wanna do and what. You're talented outright. it's also thinking about. Will this career support the life. That i want up first financially and then secondary considerations around flexibility and other things to look out but but that financial piece is so important in a lot of times. That's missing for women so the data still shows that women disproportionately select the lowest paying majors and the lowest paying careers and even in the highest paying fields. Women will overwhelmingly select the lowest paying tracks. You this mean this is current research. I had really thought that this might shift. But it's really not shifting in the way that i had had thought it might so i think we're still not thinking that way we're not considering the income perhaps as much as we

"Two, hundred, nine, thousand, nine passing yards, two touchdowns that rams defense just had the bears offense looking lost all night long Brian Bags you buddy are the five and two rams contenders or pretenders. You don't you think they're contenders at least for the play offs I. Don't know that they have enough. Must they get into the playoffs to make a long run? I think they made be able to win a game into the playoffs especially with seventeen now getting into the playoffs. But what I saw last night against a very good bears defense was the deepest. was guessing a deep that had no pools happen next because John cmih Sean. McVeigh had a deep into office playing. Well, they had to protect the edge as they had the jet sweep workday. They had the around working they have the play action pass work. They had the run game working basically anything that the rams wanted to do last night they were able. To do against a good defense in the bears close importantly in order to beat the Rams Stars on the defense side of the ball you have to have, and you have to have guys in your second-string can come and get after the quarterback. If you don't have that ability, you can't beat the rams because all visibly they have a bunch of guys that. Can hurt you and if they go into that hurry up mode, they keep the same team for the on the delete team on the bill for a very long time, and that's hurts a defense. Especially when you get into the third quarter, you're reserves at the a little bit more. It's just a tough beat up out we talk about some of these teams. I Rams, get the win. That's contender for tender might be asking the same question of Cam. Newton, after another bad start Sunday is he one or the other? What are the Patriots do? Now? That's next first things first. Like they know what these women are worried about they know what the polls say and that's why you get people like Thom Tillis being like. Not. Really do anything and I think they're the wheel conversation is absolutely about what's already been done. What else is going to be done whether or not? You put out this sort of like a rail whether Roseanne's or not. With David I, don't think we should get rid of road to put something better in its place but I think you need to leave rose standing and build on top of that, and that's where I think our movement has room to grow probably should have started a while ago is how do you so matt these rights in stronger jurisprudence, but I don't think that's An excuse for getting raider grow when it has real life consequences that infringe on very basic freedoms and rights of people, and at the same time, those consequences are already being felt in states and David ending correct me if I'm wrong but they're not GonNa Choice at some point to take one of these bands like you're going to have to take Georgia or Missouri around. The Court of course, controls its stock at completely, and if for example, a state banned abortion outright and the lower courts. Upheld that ban which would never happen. So and if they didn't, then it doesn't get to the Supreme Court because the State Appeals Stream court turns it down and they don't deal with the issue. But if for some reason, a lower court upheld the ban which I can't imagine not even some of the nuttier federal appeals courts in the country the Supreme Court could up the issue by summarily reversing it. No decision just say see our prior rulings statement affectively duck the issue and these guys play the long game I. Mean Barrett just had her bar Mitzvah will not really but she's forty eight and gorsuch and cavenaugh are in their fifties Roberts who's been on the court fifteen years. was barely it is barely sixty five years old I. think he's younger than than Isikoff. So they can afford to play the long game and wall Romi be near and dear to bear its heart it clearly is it's not near and dear to the chiefs heart I. Doubt It is as much soda, Gorsuch or Cavenaugh. Overturning Roe might be near or dear to Barrett's but I don't think it is to Roberts or some of the other some of the others, and if they put off to a calmer time dealing with a question or doing the deed when twenty three or twenty twenty-five, what's the big deal? It matters to the hard right and to evangelical 's I don't think it particularly matters to others and for Roberts for example, he's got bigger projects he wants to finish perhaps gutting the voting rights act. He wants to finish what citizens united began he. Doesn't WANNA, get stuck in the mire with withrow and I, suspect that gorsuch and Cava are in the same camp. We all talk about row as if it's a central issue and and listen I think the right to choose as a political matter is I'm just not sure it's the judicial a project that we assume that all conservatives all the on the court want want. But David isn't it true? I? mean the the research shows both in nineteen eighty two when the federalist society formed as well as late as twenty nineteen in independent research that party. Is. A good litmus test is because it does map. So well onto hostility to other forms of social progress like the voting rights act like broader forms of Gender Justice and what's interesting to me about that is how honestly refreshingly honestly Senator Mike Lee has lays cards.

"There are clauses at war with each other the text of the First Amendment versus the text of the Copyright Clause you know within the First Amendment Separation of church versus free establishment of religion. Why don't why didn't somebody presser on any one of those drilling down you know the way a good cross examiner, good law school professor was on what are you doing this situations? Instead they asked their question about textualist them, and then read the next question on their list I. At some point you get the impression with some of the really bad questioners that if she said something like I kidnapped the Lindbergh. They wouldn't hear what was said engaged or they just go onto the next question by the way. I she sufficiently on that I'm quite sure she did not kidnap Lindbergh big. If you see the court thesis here that I'm not ready to see because I am a heard optimist to just believes that there could be fourth Republican who cares so much about the legitimacy of the court doubled breaks onto it. But if you see David Central thesis that we know the outcome of this confirmation then what you get to. Grow a Kabuki theatre but I would call it political theater. Right. You're trying to drive up the political stakes and consequences for the various players in the region and I would argue on that point that the Democrats are doing precisely what they need to do rain they are laying bare. What does that stake in a way that voters are already enormously? Responsive to voters particularly, those women in the suburbs that nate silver just showed is making the margin of difference in these swing states they are extraordinarily agitated about the threats to the ACA, c. a Roe versus Wade and I think these hearings are bribing a clear focus on how imminent those threats are and on the other side I think the only Republican. Strategy they have to win over those same voters because they've already seated on the issues essentially is to cast out right like that's what they're trying to do what she's going to do. Well, you know what her records clear but to pay victim right to make her sympathetic to that same constituency a boaters, and on that I actually just think failing. So, at least logistic break that down a little bit because there's a short term political calculus, which is the election, the presidential election and Senate races the number of members of that committee are in tough Senate reelection battles, and then there's the longer term which is the fate of a woman's right to choose or the now some of those things might be. Resolved in the Supreme Court, but they're also going to be battles and state legislatures on abortion maybe even in Congress if there's a move to to codify roe versus. Wade. So are you talking about both the short term and the longer term political calculus? Yeah. Absolutely. I. Think Voters Have Long Memories I. Think we're still seeing residual effects from those suburban. Voters of the repeal votes the cabinet votes, the families separation stuff that has a lasting imprint on these voters and I think they will remember and of course, many of us will help remind them and twenty two and twenty four I don't think that disappears but I also think you guys speak to this better. The juries with David has to say about. The Best Court watchers, I know also think that the strongest argument we have for mitigating the worst effects of our radical right majority cemented on the court is to put the legitimacy of the court in question for radical action right? So you have to slow you have to do everything you're saying you have to work that gain a majority or federal legislature. Absolutely work state houses which were already doing, but you also have to call the question in for the public hangings and make sure Roberts knows that the legitimacy of the port is in question if he if he actually does what the base wants them to do, what trump from as which is take radical action to throw these mental rights under the bus. Now clearly, Roe versus Wade is front and center in this hearing. Obviously, elise, you're the president of wral. This is your Core Issue David you've written a book, the most dangerous game that does argue even though you come from A. Liberal perspective if find might take. The liberty of saying. So you actually argue that Roe versus Wade was wrongly decided and was an example of judicial overreach. So I WANNA get your take on a both of your take on whether I thought it was interesting judge Barrett said, there are a handful of super, precedence Supreme Court Decisions Brown versus board being one of them Marbury versus Madison another row versus Wade is not in her view a super precedent. So as a practical matter if assuming she gets on the court, is she a vote for overturning Roe versus Wade or chipping away at Roe versus Wade David Yuga I. Well, first of all I wished I'd written the most dangerous game. Brands or whatever. It's all. It's all a game to us at skulduggery. So I had to choose. Yeah. But but listen before I get voted off the island again I am a strong policy legislative proponent of abortion of a woman's right to choose all my book says is that as a matter of constitutional law row was an terrible decision, it's not as bad as Bush v Gore sat is probably as bad as shelby county about voting rights or citizens united about campaign finance or Heller about gun control if I had to choose between them but as a matter of constitutional I, it's a lousy opinion and RPG said as much. Now, that's a different question about now that it's been the law for fifty years if you if you should overturn it. Where you didn't ask that question I can answer it in a bit if you want. What's Barrack GonNa do anybody who predicts which she's GonNa do or frankly what the chief justice is. GonNa do or Cavenaugh Gorsuch is a lot smarter dumber than I. Am we know Thomas is going GonNa do because he's already done it and I'd be guessing pretty strongly based on opinions Alito is going to go the same way but the rest I'm not sure if I were a betting man and I'll play with skulduggery his pension fund. I would guess that it is more likely for variety of reasons that most of the others if not all of them. would be happy to chip away they would support. Any regulation on abortion that comes before them. They'd strike down. Nothing. But that they would duck the issue of dealing with a state statute that outright ban. Abortion. What are you say that? David, why do you say that? What is it about these justices that wouldn't want to take that step? Why would they far Lynch regard for the institution? It isn't particularly now you know if Biden wins all the more with court packing or. What was what was the formulation court rebalancing I heard I Thank you you know I. Don't think court backing is pejorative but with that now, if not reaching the tipping point, certainly approaching the mainstream listen I, argue it I argued for it in my book I think that the court as it has done over the decades will try to remove itself as best it can from the vortex I think they will try to stay out of the storm. They can I don't think they'll necessarily do that a November fourth or December fourth with respect to a disputed election or when you have different state on, it's an..

Okay. Sure. You're consistently one of the best five or six programs in the country. Oh boy believed the roster. Stock to the gills right with four and five star talent. And yet y'all aren't supposed to be here. Okay. Well, how do you get to that point, even managed to stand on that live, even a second before it collapses beneath your weighty and gifted feet? Well before you get to a cartel Jones, you gotta get to J T Barrett. Gotta start with Braxton Miller because preseason in August. Braxton Miller starting quarterback for the Ohio State buckeyes he's out with an injury for the year in practice. So after camp. They're down to their second string quarterback. Does it look like that? Yeah. Yeah. It does look like that. Because after initial in over navy J, T, Barrett loses a okay, everybody loses. Yeah. Sure. Of him. You know, if your freshman you're gonna have growing pains, are you gonna lose at home? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. To, to whom yet Virginia Tech. They lost Virginia Tech. Thirty five twenty one loss where everybody said, wow man thought foster figured things out for six they're done. Everybody just do that now. Mckay told me years ago, you know, rich Atlanta falcon to us to run the buccaneers. He said I love watching Saturday night SEC games who stars at the hundred thousand people. You're nineteen years old. He goes if you can star in that environment in nineteen at twenty four and you can start for us against the saints on Monday night football like to your point big games. And that's what I do as a journalist do coach, I think J T Barrett would be the guy that was not a hard about the guy. I'm not claiming I found him because actually Tom Herman found him brought him to me brought him to me in. What quarterback you've got the number one pick or a top pick who pops for you joint Haskins for me. I mean as as not because coaches sin right there. We tend to agree upon it. I got a chance to break him down a number of times this past year. And I think one of the things you saw throughout his game. Is he has a strong understanding of where the weaknesses are in the defense. What they're asking him to do how to execute it. But also how you can explore. With the defense is trying to take away. So I looked at his game the way throws the football. You can make every throw. He's accurate. And I think the one thing that I even noticed a little bit. And coach correct me if I'm wrong that we saw him earlier in the year. We saw him later in the year better playing. Well, not only be a better player. You saw him grow. But Cuyler Murray was the most important player to his team throughout the season. "You know, it'd be Fresno state looks like a disaster for good chunk of the season. But improved a little bit these past couple of weeks and I do like Minnesota skill position right now. But the story is northwestern just playing sound football bowser has been a nice addition that backfield since he came in and started getting the lion's share of carries Clayton. Thorson not spectacular. But, you know, always decent. And that's listen. How many teams raise your hand? If you would like an always decent quarterback many would sell good for north western as they move into the the big ten championship game. And they played Michigan tight the first time. They played Michigan. Yes, they did and north west and Notre Dame tight and Notre Dame tight. This is a good football team. It doesn't always show up in the box score the way it does for some others. But this is a team that plays really solid team football ultimate grower. We'll see let's go to Penn State twenty Rutgers seventy. Okay. Let's let's just do this real a place it. Well, look, you could look at it from one of two perspectives, and it will move on. If your glass half full, you could say that trace McSorley became the winningest quarterback in Penn State history. Moved ahead of Todd Blackledge, Tony Sacca. He also is now one of three big ten football players to have gone over one hundred total touchdowns at puts him in rarefied air with drew Brees who did it almost exclusively through the air J T Barrett who had a little bit of both at Ohio State. So he's in he's in exclusive company. They're the defense for Penn State was really sound in this game not hard to be sound. It's rutgers. But again trying to look at this glass half full if you are pessimistic you could say that Penn State's offense real bad is it will. Yeah. It looked real bad. There seems to be obvious regression now over the. Last month and a half. How much of that is due to trace McSorley being a bit on the shelf remains to be seen. But they're really limp into the finish here and that game against Maryland next week is anything, but gimme I think we are going to get reports after the season ends like oh trace McSorley played without a spleen collarbone. He played without a kneecap and a half since September twenty seventh after the season ends, which is what it appears to be Penn State appears to be an above average and nothing more big ten power right now. And that's okay. Now that you're down here if that's your down your tie, not bad Nebraska, nine Michigan state, six in in the snow in the snow. This is one of them games is going to leave scar tissue. If you're Michigan state fan. The good news. Is you can spin it as how? Nebraska looked really good on defense. Maybe if you want to really try and play the spin game. Michigan state is a ton of injuries. They had a bunch of dropped balls. There was a snow to contend with not a good offensive showing either way here, Dan. But at a bare minimum at a bare minimum at least we had rocky Lombardi against Adrian Martinez. Drew? We had rocky. We had Adrian Nebraska did it big win for them at home. Yeah. Michigan state's offense is bad. It is full on bad. And I got to imagine at a certain point. We're going to have to see something adjusted in the offseason, whether it's coaching whether it's scheme because they're failing their own defense, perhaps more than any other team in the country. And that's a tough thing to say because there are a lot of those situations around college football good for Nebraska going into the offseason. I'm no they have another game next week a believe it's the Iowa game. But going into the offseason having been there last home game with a win over a really good defense is not insignificant..

The second team quarterback see some wildcat in their snapping ball directly Dobbins awebber or maybe in Paris Campbell or somebody as a possibility I really don't see that as a main game plan. It might have been on see this little maingate. Let's talk about specifically in the red zone. You know, if it gets in the red zone, and we obviously failed in our efforts against Purdue. It's a different ball game. If we go boom, boom, boom in that those first three series and. Changes the game, totally different Dale. I I'm not advocating it, but do you bring the J T Barrett offense back in and that's most likely going to be run by Tate Martell. Not a power JR. JT wasn't a power guy like Tibo? But if you put that into the equation in the red zone does that create more pressure on the defense? The answer is maybe yes. A different kind of pressure. Then what Dwayne Haskins can offer? Again. I'm not sitting here advocating it, but I wouldn't be shocked if in the red zone all of a sudden we saw package. Well, you know, the way things are going. They might try anything desperate times call for desperate measures. Desperate. You're in control of your own destiny. I mean, desperate in terms of desperate in terms of what they've been getting out of the red zone. Okay. Just it's that's what I know. I know we're not. "Both of whom are so talented do great job and McGee. They're sitting there having a couple and LSU's up about thirty seventeen or something like that over and I walked in and I said, McGee. So I just knew his pedigree. I had covered him several times at Ohio State and kind of Saul him go through this quarterback, battle with Dwayne Haskins at OSU and he was owned daunted. I mean, he wanted to win that job felt confident he would. And then when he didn't cause Haskins is unbelievably talented, headed decision to make. I gotta choose where I'm going to go play. LSU was the perfect choice. There was an opportunity there. I asked him wireless you because the opportunity was there. He fell in love with coach, oh, and they had a meeting when he first got the first time he walked on campus, they had what was supposed to be about thirty five or forty five minute meeting. It was a three hour meeting and coach, oh, told me. He. Borough. He was your coach kid. He was the smartest guy in the room, and I was in the room. Look LSU has a quarterback y'all. He is tough. He's a leader. He can really sling j. t. Barrett. But when he was with the saints, there in camp was asked about borough, and he said, he is an amazing teammate, a great person, and boy, he can really slinging around athletic guy to he can run it. You covered him at OSU October. Jerry stood him when he was, and now they're both going to be playing this weekend. Oh, wait. So Joey borrow said something us we asked a question about Jordan hare legendarily loud and he said he said it might affect a young guy. Ain't going to affect me. He said somebody asked the question. They said, not trying to get you in trouble, but what would you compare it to like Penn State? You couldn't even think at Penn State. And as you can imagine, the folks planes we're like, we're. Depend state, but I'm telling you they're both so loud, but he won't be rattled. I really don't believe it will be. I don't either. It's not in his pedigree, being rattled is not part of his DNA. It's just not not even destroy them with you right there. I know that's a lot of pressure. Now, listen. The two louder stadiums I've ever been in. I went to Happy Valley last year. It was very loud, but the two loudest. I've been in our his home stadium down in LA. Valley is what is it as the sun makes its way toward the western sky? It is like it's a bunch of pirates man and they are throwing down and the other, the iron bowl last year earsplitting knowing well. I'll tell that loud in LSU's always the first one to pull out. Extra point to where we give you a little more of how we think which is always a mystery to those who know us best Brad, what do you have that was looking at the leaderboard for total QBR and jumped out at me that the the three highest ranked starting quarterbacks in total QBR in the country are all first year starters who have taken over for highly successful quarterbacks starting with to talk, I lo- at Alabama and now the highly successful guy he's taken over for is still on the roster. Jalen hurts who's led the team to back to back national championship games, but then right behind him collar Murray, obviously, taking over for Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma, and then Dwayne Haskins at Ohio State taking over for j. t. Barrett. And it's interesting this early in the season to see the efficiency with which those guys are playing and the success. They're having a quarterback. First of all, the ask the question, can they keep this up and and with that comes the next question, which is if one of them is going to fall, maybe not fall, but if one of them is going to start to struggle being a first year starter, that often happens, who would it be? I because I think what you have to recognize is that as more teams get more film on them and get an idea of what they do, well, what they don't do as well, maybe we're, they're blind spots are and they can game plan for that. You're going to see new things thrown at them and we'll see how they adjust. But I think it's kind of fascinating to look at those three guys recognize how talented they are, what the potential for each guy is. And at the same time be aware that they probably will face them struggles down the road as teams start to get a better idea of how to defend them. That's a great point. And. It's all you know, I feel like the famous today's show is, okay, we're getting into the meat of the season in here we go and not a moment too soon. Adam, what do you have. Well, I wanted to give a shout out while we still can to the only three zero team in college football right now. And that would be the Hawaii rainbow warriors led by Nick Rolla vich who is one of the more fun and different personalities. As far as college football coaches, he was the one that went around the not in west media day with an Elvis impersonator in Vegas and and does a lot of kind of quirky things so. But I've been really impressed with the job that they've done early this year, have a win over navy. You know, their quarterback Cole MacDonald has thirteen touchdowns and no interceptions. They're off to their first three, no start since twenty seven when they as you guys remember when twelve and owned the regular season led by another very accomplished quarterback Colt Brennan. So their reward for the three start guys, this week is a trip to army, which is a mere four thousand nine hundred and fifty five miles from from the island to trip west. Yeah, exactly. Quite there. Tipo trips last road trips. So do travel to road games like, I've never thought about that. It would be cool. I mean, if I was a student and I could somehow travel the army for a game, that would be a great story regardless of how the game went on the just to go that far to watch your team play at a great stadium in West Point, that would be it'd be a lot of fun, so, but you look at their schedule army struggling Duquesne is next and Diego's San Jose State, not very good. And then they host a Wyoming in in Honolulu. So there's a chance that this could be a really exciting team to watch, especially on offense. They've eclipse forty points in each of their first. Three games are undefeated under role of which when they do that. So I just wanted to give the Rainbow Warrior's a shout out, especially their coach who is one of the more fun people in college football. I'm glad you did. Although I did flash on that Sugar Bowl between Georgia and Hawaii, which not pretty was exciting right up until the first play from scrimmage as I recall..

He was a Heisman guy before he got hurt. He hits Michigan. He comes back and says, you know what? Car del. Just one me the national championship. He gets the start week one. And that came out later that it fractured the locker room because the guys wanted j. t. Barrett. And I'm not saying that can't happen here. I don't know what kind of person to is. I know is a hell of a quarterback and he's a better quarterback than Jalen hurts. My point is that and we know through one half of football that he is a hell of a quarterback, and then he will absolutely be better than John's. No, no, no, no. What we do know is from an skillset standpoint, he can do some things at Jalen hurts, can't do, but there's more to playing quarterback than just that matter of fact, if you go back to the to that game besides the touchdown that won the game, what about the play right before that that was an any took a sack. It was an ideology play though. You know, he's a true freshman, right. Oh, so now we're giving him some. So anyway, here we're not giving other play. Jalen hurts fumbled. His first college snap against USC and USC won't cover it try well. He dropped the snap. I am not. I'm not disagreeing that two is the better quarterback. I'm not even disagreeing that he should get the starting job. I'm just saying that I think it's a story worth watching how the personalities handle that within the locker. No question because that that's matter and baked and also as much as we as much as we keep talking about the big ten in the big ten, you know, they have the best division in all of football. I get that. Let's not forget that. Alabama did not have a cake, walk through the SEC last year, right? I mean there there is exactly an Alba. This year, depending on what stood looks like is a quarterback, could take a step forward if they do. They've got to look at it and say, hey, you know, so Alabama's they're up against Georgia's going to be stacked an amazing. So you have to look at it at some point. Say those little locker room. Things could make a age, and I do believe with two quarterback, I think Alabama averages forty five points a game with with her two quarterback thirty, here's out enough to win sure. But I think he gives them a dynamic that we haven't seen at Alabama in Nick Sabin time. Never having to give you that there's been so I know disagree, but it is about how you handle things because it's fit says it goes beyond just those two guys. It affects everyone else because if. College one in their mind. If you mistreat someone in their mind, what are you going to do with me? We're gonna do boy. Like, how's it going to fit? Everything else? Like all that matters. Now, granted, it's, you know, it's Nick savings world. It's not a democracy. I mean, you go, I it's an autocracy. I get it. But at the same time there are there are repercussions for your actions. Let me how you handle it matters who said it when we were just talking to second, Nick Sabin goes into living rooms that I'm going to send double digit players to the NFL every year, and you know what you might have to wait your turn. You might have to wait your turn. If these kids are going to compete for championships and go to the NFL, then they're not the normal team when they're looking at their coach and they're saying he mistreated guy. I don't wanna play for Knicks able then don't because savings go get three more of you. You brought up the big ten. I want to get to them before we get you editor Jason bits, two hundred this out using berry filling in for Stephen, a Smith. I think of all the conferences this year, the big ten's, the t, the conference most likely sent to teams the playoff. I'd agree thoughts. I agree with that..
"j t barrett" Discussed on College Football Live
"Vents probably than it was a year ago not as good on offense but i think you safely can say that if you're putting alabama versus them you can trust alabama and the what they've done to this point in the season the way their competitive the way they're coached the way their physical i just think they can trust them more to be a better game in the conference finals which we've had some blow alves yeah and a day to i i think i look at ohio state too and they put so much on the quarterback position and guys gt barents just average and he's just the up and down to i mean this is a quarterback centric offense and he really is going to be probably the focal point and in a big reason why ohio states had any success this season has been because of j t barrett and what he's capable of doing i think that they go as he goes in the is not willing to put in a team that relies so heavily on an inconsistent player alabama as an entire unit twenty two starters eleven on offense and eleven on defense they just played more collectively they played better as a team and there were more consist of brute yeah it is an inexact science when you come down but i also think guys that the fact that alabama is going to beginning a lot of those players back have affected the decision as well knowing that as good as they've looked recently they will look even better once you have some of those healthy players back in january the question becomes matchups as well how much do you think david the committee looks at the match up and says mood that's more intriguing them this uh i be i i don't know anybody that wouldn't sign up for the trilogy.
