"Weighing in saying what it takes to and doesn't tell me baker made build he he he has the qualifications his resume. Just doesn't speak that to me. It doesn't speak into marcellus and the only reason why it speaks to you is because you gotta kind of cleveland brown they drain. I get it. That is exactly why he's on this list because just like marcel is said when players are voting. They look at who is it. Why don't say him because he he might not me up the way for him because he might knock you off the way so let me just put baker down there because they want you know what he hasn't gotten a lot of attention they're teaming in. He did some great big post season but it wasn't enough to say he's a top one hundred. He might be one ten in that window. He might be one twenty five in that window. But he's not taught one hundred. Na our tells you qualifications and you ain't got a pro bowl you ain't top one hundred matter of fact you ain't top to sixty five to sixty six starting to listen to two hundred sixty five at the pros. You ain't one of them. You ain't getting on this list. No higher to sixty five and being real. This is what's gonna really hurt you if we really keep it at one thou- up here in the top one hundred list. Some of these new quarterbacks that might get aluminum if justin we go right now to a park. And i say no target out to the park. So beca squeak. I'll tell had to park right now. We all two thousand of the 2021. Nfl active players. And you see justin feel standing over there. You see baker mayfield standing on their baker mayfield. Only one winning season. No pro bowls just feel standing there like you want me to run it. You want me to throw it. You want me to lead what you wanna do draft in nacho who you draft. I don't discriminate based upon race. And so as a result. I actually think that i would still take baker mayfield anyway way race table. Oh see i had to clean it up. I got to tell you how we feel about today. Jaguars mix i'll speak for yourself. Ten people made preseason debut as a tight end for the jacksonville jaguars over the weekend. And well yeah didn't go so big. The former quarterback play sixteen snaps and finish with no catches. Now tivo also have some bad block and attempt with one going by marcellus. How do we feel about tim. Tebow preseason baby you know i love tibo do my job because i love that moore. You should feel like it was. It was a debut but not a typical debuts. Osco choke me up to my my boy this all right here. We go to not going out there doing something. He's already been born raised to he's trying to debut two things one. I'm back in the nfl and a planet new position. What are bring that up. Because this new position he's playing. I'm not certain. His natural disposition wearing a rare shirt being untouchable and practice all those many years. I'm not sure so sure if he's cut out for this. I'm not so sure. If he's ready for the hood life in the trenches. Because i saw not one but two blocks like this. They'll let me know all not ball if you've been on the block long enough. Have you made that left. Turn into alley because in the trenches dadang on fly big dogs. We are starting to raise our hands. Saying gimme eighty-five if you to start doing this this is really concerning. Because i thought it was gonna make this team in part because they don't really have tied is like that tibo better learn how to catch him better show his catching ability really fast because right now half of his already been taken off the table. He came block workloads. It ain't just that he missed the blocks. It ain't just the fact that well you know what this is first game coach always say. Did you stick knows in there. Did you stick. You knows in there. And i just said this to my little homegirl mattie. She was playing soccer yesterday with all the boys and she was running them over. And i was like kay sticking your nose in their tabled and stick his nose in there so blocked off the table already. Now we gotta turn them into a pass catching titan. Last time. i checked him bricks. He holding right here five fingers on them. I don't think that's going to be the way. Oh this is not looking pretty. I thought it was great sale. Did just stick knows. And i know what it meant but as some people might not know what to me. I guess it's the to the willingness like oh there's a fire over there who will say oh it's hot if you're not willing to do that like tvos okay to get rag doll. We all irag dog after we stick our nose in there. You didn't look like you committed to the moment you act conviction. in the moment there's always gonna be tensioned in nfl. Not everybody wants to hold the rope. T-ball like in a tunnel work. He ain't even hold the rope and ness concern. Yeah tim tvos an incredible human being all. We rather give an incredible human being. Here's ten people is one of the greatest men. I played with them in philadelphia. He was there for the preseason. I know him well. We both used to work at the same company. An incredible human being. But we have to a great job of separating. How great of a man. Tim tebow is from the football player Tim tebow the football player. Should not be employed by the jacksonville. Jaguars based upon talent too much based upon talents to waste of talent. Marcellus wiley sir. I do not mind if someone is given job undeserving but they must very quickly proved that they are talented enough to hold the job. I don't mind if you're giving a job that you don't deserve if you don't mind if your resume doesn't necessarily check out for the job and what you currently hold but you must very quickly prove at least that you're talented or capable enough to hold that position. People played sixteen snaps. We have showed. You will continue to show you two of the snaps. That's roughly twelve percent of the plays. That tim tebow played were atrocious now. A lot of bad plays over the course of the preseason and this first block actually to me wasn't all that bad the objective of an offensive players to make sure that the person you're blocking does not make the tackle. I'll not actually at all mad about this play but that next place one right here on third and five. You just can't do it and you wanna go you in the red zone where games are won and lost. It can't happen now tight end. You have a couple of jobs one to block another to catch like marcellus wiley. Just said we now know tim. Tebow is not a blocker. So you better be most pass catcher a game got and you are physically not predisposed to be that just because the most prolific pass catching tight ends. The game has seen what we got tony. Gonzales standing at about six seven. We got rob gronkowski standing at about six six six seven. We got my dude For the saints. Jimmy graham jimmy graham sending about six six seven antonio gait standing at about one these six four six five six six so just out. The gate tim. Tebow was not predisposed to being a phenomenal pass catching tight and we know. He's not a run blocking tight end so sell i again. Just do not know what place he has on this roster at this junction and time see. I don't like that part when we agree. We can't go too far. Because then i'm gonna disagree with how you've gone too far so relative experience based on why you on a roster and employment and this be real. This ain't the best tight end. Rome not at all could be but that is laughable raising his hand to be one of the worst. That's fine but that so you can't put that on camera. You can't guess what i'm gonna tell you. What else was on camera. Because let's first of all is the table. Let's see is competition before we start saying should he be employed on the dax hiding room. Looks like to blockers a former undrafted. Free agent one career guy in a former six round with.

"Yeah no. It's that's actually a fair point. You bring up unfortunately shake my head this because it is not a good answer a nor would i even call it an answer but it is is sadly the truth. It is the the rioters truth happening here. Where that's for the plot that they wanted to sell. That was critical to happen. It's unfortunate how true that is. Because again spoilers ahead so the time variance authority. Thank you authority. The time fucking police is what my brain keeps calling them I'm not entirely wrong. There they had to be able to take over loki in that critical beginning moment in order for him to even become associated with this authority to begin the entirety of the show. There's always those m stan's who try to defend something no matter what and their defense will be. We're lucky has to get captured somehow to be taken to the tv. I'd have a problem with that. The man can put up a fight. They did but it's the way they did it. You can send a dozen guards down. You know that. Have some technology that low. "Injection and one of my. It's not the last but it's one of the last questions about Some specific point is a limited mobility. I know that i had in clinic. An outpatient a woman who told me she had slept in her wheelchair for the last five years and she stayed in her wheelchair all the time. She wore some form of diaper For bathroom reasons and then whenever she was to get bathed Which was like maybe a week. Once a week she said One of her family members would wheel her to the bathtub and she would throw her legs over the side they would washer feet and then give her irag and she kind of washed down with iraq but that had been going on for five years at that point she had a whole lot of hyper care hostess. She had a whole lot of swelling Especially from her knees down to her toes and she had no mobility to be able to self bandage or anything For herself really she had shimmy movement. She could cook and kinda wheel herself around the house. trump. What would you do for a patient who has extremely limited mobility and is bed bound or even chairbound sure you know a lot of our patients and not a lot of our patients but A good bit of our patients. The reason that they're homebound is because they have mobility issues. It's hard for them to get around and move and so those patients we would really only wrap to the knee because when we wrap over the leg sometimes it's just a lot of weight and they have difficulty with the weight to begin with You know we always want to do the best that we can for the patient in making sure that we set them up with a garment And setting them up with a pump. That will help them. Because they don't have that mobility and they can't do their cdt exercises But you know making sure that they are as active in their plan as they can be You know there's only so much as far as Olympic dima therapist that we can do but we want to be able to keep them compressed at all times that be with iraq or whether that just be with two layers of to grip just to give them that compression piece to constantly have that. But you know starting out all and being able to work on that tolerance is also something that you know is really beneficial in home health if we have to start out with one to be gripped in two two girls before we wrap Because a lot of it is if they don't have that feeling in the lower extremities you know that's contrary indicated what we can do and so it's always a case by case basis that we have to assess whether the patient is appropriate for olympic team. A home health or not. This is perfect to wind up with my next question. And i'm actually pulling this off of the lymphoma therapist helping fatima therapist facebook page and the question that was posed From someone named sarah elizabeth she says i work in health. And i'm trying to come up with a quick reference with some bullet points about when nursing should console olympic team a specialist. Do you have any ideas with this. Could include if they are noticing. I feel when i see. I can tell when my nurses are in there versus when my therapist during their if you If the nurses.

"The whole gamut marcus. I might point out to people pursued an executive mba program at george washington university and he made a series of investments in startup companies operating in the health and the sports sector. And i'm going to believe that. For most athletes. They have been doing one thing for very long period in their life. And they're probably the fear factor comes in. They're going into a field that they don't understand don't know they've had people taking care of them for most of their lives. And that is something that really affects a lot of these athletes. Am i correct observation. Marcus yeah i. It's tough you know you put so much time effort and energy into into a singular goal and it's i mean it's really. It's tough to build skill sets outside of that I think you know. That's that's true in in really any any walk of life. And i think especially true in a you know feeling like professional sports. Because there's there's you gotta you've gotta give it one hundred ten percent just to have a shot to be successful. Yeah i know you co created as the education executive education program at columbia university business going. It's focused on providing current and former professional athletes with the tools needed to harness their competitiveness and ensure financial success. Tell me a little bit about that program. And what you're observing with these former athletes so so really the course I wanted to create it and really from from a lot of my own experiences. So as an athlete you get a ton of you get a ton of access to to Some good some not so good and they come from from people in your network. People from outside of your network and what happens is a lot of times. You're not necessarily equipped to deal with. You know the opportunity in that coming coming here way And we really just wanted to develop a in a program that gave gave these athletes tolls to be able to identify a really bad opportunity. early on and be able to move away from it. Conversely identified good opportunity. And you know continue to you. Know conduct your diligence on it and continue to go down down the pathway where you may or may not partner with that business so Again a lot of that stuff is stuff that i kind of learned on the fly You can't get into the investment game and you know not get punched into a couple of times so The courses really developed from standpoint of you know giving some of my peers the the opportunity and the information to To take less of those punches to the gut and really you know being a position where you can control your destiny. In a lotta ways. We all know about the richest irag stories with athletes. And i suppose that it would be kind of a a very tough situation for them to decide what to do with their money. It's not something that they really had to do for a long period of time when they were playing. Yeah i mean. I i when i talk about it. I quit to Really lottery winner. I mean and if you really look at it at its core You know a lot of these a lot of these guys. You're getting you're getting these dollar contracts that you know anywhere between twenty to twenty five and i challenge anybody you know. Fresh out of college at twenty two to successfully manage a portfolio It's just not a skill set. It's just not something that's in your wheelhouse early on and you gotta go And really equip yourself with the right team. The right knowledge resources to be able to do it efficiently. What's the best piece of advice you ever got. Business wise I would say it. It's really simple. I mean it's really get involved in businesses that you that you understand And i i think it might sound oversimplify but The more that you can really dig in and roll your sleeves up into business and really understand you know You know what the product is. What the service is and and really be able to relate to it. I mean it just gives you a different perspective as opposed to you know a business that you know could be a great opportunity. But you don't understand it. You can't really contribute. Oh you can't really actively participate in in in the business. Are there any similarities. Marcus between the business of football business of sports and the business of business. If you know what i know absolutely and i think one of the things that initially attracted me to the The investment space without me knowing that attracted me you look at a lot of entrepreneurs founders There's some traits you know in the ones that make it that that are direct correlation to you know the athletes that are able to make it to the professional ranks and It's something i. I like to call irrational confident. It's in what i mean by that is As an athlete. You have to have confidence in yourself and your work ethic in you know your preparation that you look at all the numbers And all the probabilities around you you know actually achieving your goal and there's a mindset that i cannot work the numbers and i can i can be that one percent and everyone else's is ninety nine percent and when you look at a lot of entrepreneurs as founders that that mentality if that mentality is present then then the business has has a chance of being successful five seconds left when you look back on both your business career now and also your playing career. What's sense of satisfaction. Do you have knowing the road that you traveled Obviously with with My football career. I just you know being able to live a dream. it's something. That's you know something that can you know my son can enjoy and and something that you know always be able to look back on and and you know. Be proud of what. I was able to accomplish there on the business side. You know. i'm i'm. It's exciting. Because i really just getting started You know to be able to take what i've been doing you know do it for the next fifteen twenty thirty years You know. I always say i'm working and grinding towards an unknown. Go right now. And that's that's part of the exciting. The site the excitement behind it. Marcus thank you very much. I enjoyed watching your career. But i'm really happy that you made the transition that you have and also that you're happy helping other athletes also move away and and carry on with their life. You're welcome back anytime. My friend take care. I really appreciate you having me. A marcus colston with us former wide receiver. He played his entire ten year career with the saints and boy was he a good when he was one of the key players in the saints. A super bowl forty four win and now doing very successful after playing the game. We've got on america's.

"Because i'm thinking about well if it's mid stance in a sprint stride and its vertical push that is easy to use a force plate to push on to because he had said that will get like ten percent more effort out of athletes because they have a number in the suspect motivated. And okay we can really go. And then and then feedbacks yeah. He's he's talked about using that stuff too in conjunction with like playas. And i've found huge one of my favorite ones was using Mid poll i so with like a clean on attended for time and i just exploded my pr. To in that way it was crazy and then the transfer was a little less other things because that was more specific to the the high pulled than it was a balanced or something or sprint star. But anyways i digress. But i would say. Do you have any sort of feedback mechanism like a fourth player or force. Or how do you. How do you definitely so the first thing i never get a bowl bowling without the speed gun. So that is my ultimate they. I need to know what the speed is like on that day on again in a sport than i follow de bahamian spoke to a t. So irag drop off. So i know exactly where where i want them to be on. What on how. They are at the minute. So they would come bl allowance Central then ochoa again in three days time but only allowing them to go intensity twice a week potentially again dependent on pinnacle prime subprime. But i know these Rabbit honking big makes a complicated real quick. I'm a big systems. Go you know. I think engineers make great coaches and i've only just lived over the last well live. I played okay. So you question isometrics. So i have a force that so what so you can post stride. Which is very much like the sprint. On the toe off so that can be pushed against costa against pins so i measure that unfold stats are. You can also measure the strength index from that and also come up with terminology reactive bowling index. Which is The flight time on the contact time so that needs to be a low number as opposed to a reactor strands index which is a high number. So i just because what. We seem with bowlers. The bonus who spend a longer on the impulse strike are the ones who try and jump hire. An intern would land on hold on land. Heavier back foot contact which is highlighted longer ground. Count a time So that you can do isometrics on that. Then i go onto the back foot contact which is the same as the toll off but obviously the legs switched out and you just push in vertical now whereas the impulse was slightly horizontal which which is why the extra goes the ge strength works so well with an end the front would come that is just a lunge position but all the weight is so i put four stack On the back foot under from an. It's a mid cycle trying to pull as hard as you or i. I do that sort of not often. Because that's quite a bit of a fast. But i use the extra g. strengths twice twice a week to just measure but actually also use creatine scale as well just to give me a numb button. When you do. The worst thing was isometrics is the. There's no number two it. They can't quantify it. So that means that you know you need intent on they if you don't give them an end goal try a beat that number..

They whatever they were discussing. Stops. and and the return for Johnny kind of his face shifts from. Two to? Maybe, not a joyful face, but something a little bit more controlled and. Inviting. And the two of them walk up to you and Philip says. My Ziva, you made it I am so sorry for the way that you hear. This was not my. Oh, Gosh, you must already think that we're such a failure here. I'm so embarrassed, please please don't told this against us. And I should have told you that being out here. In the diaspora there are. There are eight here in well, that's. Why we want to APA here and when he says that. You see the very kind of is to him in just shake his head the ever so slightly, but with that thirty five. She's trying to smooth things over between everybody kind of sure and Phil, for his part is just kinda overly apologetic in the thonis takes A. Hard look at you and says yes. I'm sure that that everything will be just fine and then as he kind of scans. The the crew. He sees you fill any in his. Eyes I mean they're already big black close with. They seem to get wider and he says felt. What, what are you doing here? Half grand kind of spreads on fell spe bells face and. says. Traveled lease with these people are. Working on their ships. And he just looks really distressed. And he says. Felt I You really shouldn't be here and he's like just kind of whispering into your ear as he comes up to shake your hand and greet you. Again. It's it's been. It's been years. Man Did I catch up over a drink later. Something maybe. No you should get the fuck Outta here. and. He turns his heel and walks. Does he say that loud enough for all of us here? And and Philip looks like. Very uncomfortable. You know he's like. I I'm sorry he's had. He's had a hard day he's he's had a really hard day. And this was not how you guys were supposed to come here and I think he's I think he's worried about. Well I'm sorry for that. Please Gosh I. This is so so embarrassing. What a what a horrible greeting in welcome to hear I please please. Come and let me show you what this is really supposed to be about. Would not and kind of like. Sort of awkwardly sort of put her hand. She's trying to take his arm kind of like. Let him lead her, but he's half length so like She says Philip. This is why of course we have our soft openings. Yes, this is for to work out all of the bugs I'm. Let's. Let's see what you have to offer. Yes, and she just kind of give him. Her biggest smile to try and calm him down I guess. As a guy who went to prom with a really girl like I empathize. Fell for your part. You are utterly confused by this reaction. Yeah, I was GONNA. Say felt like he he likes quits. He puts a hard back to you. You know what I mean like. Even if you're like. Reach Tim whatever he likes turns and walks directly towards his ship to get on the ship and leave and even if you were to call out to him, he. Doesn't turn back or anything and you just kind of going through this in in your mind. What is going on in dominated I? Do believe dues of season. Share. Do. We see fellow approaching office door with a black and gold plaque that reads eclipse innovations on reese director of starship, maintenance. Fell is in dark blue coveralls. tied at the waist, a grease stained orange tank top. His hands are covered in the same dark Greece. A sewer cure nick rights your over. It seems like the same people saying covert only killed. One hundred thousand people are saying all lives matter. How weird is that. That is true good point. I think you're right. I actually have a quick question. A lot of people have been no. You cannot get a second monitoring their events already all right. Can I ask another question besides that okay. A lot of people have been saying that they find that the all lives matter that phrase is offensive or things like that. Do you guys consider it to be? A personally I don't but. it's generally used as a rebuttal for black lives. Matter all lives matter. which I don't know how you can argue with that all lives you know I. So now I don't. Particularly find that offensive but again. The people that I'm a white saying IT ARE NOT A. Like the last time I heard somebody saying it was the guy holding a bow and Arrow trying to shoot protesters. That still says last night thought, so it's. Kind of weird people saying. I don't think they actually mean all lives matter I that could mean. My life matters an exception in that same at somewhere. Bridget writes. My name is bridget I'm a longtime listener. "The day. My name is Chris. Thank you again for welcoming us into into your ears. I am here with my most favorite people in the universe. I'm going to introduce I my most beautiful wife Sonya Sonja please say hello to the people people and my most favorite couple in the universe my most favorite power couple in the universe Carlos and Catherine Green what is up. Oh what the power couple power couples. We're here with our favorite couple in the birds. Time to rock on our last. Ask power boost. We talked about the hour of power and after we were done with that power abuse. We said you know what we need to talk more about it because because more it's bond more questions we heard feedback from people and these are things that we need to talk about because we feel like you need that boost I for the hour of power. There's things we have to talk about number one just as a reminder with your our power there's three sees you have to remember it's consistency it is connection and it is communication so those are the three Cs you have to remember the six core areas Carlos Katherine Carlos should give me three Catherine you give me three faith family finance future. That is your agenda and Sonia. Give us some maybe questions in trouble shooting through in our power so if a power our couples out there and they're saying okay. This is great. I want to do this. What about this? And what about this. What about this so my first question Shen is what happens if you guys get into a disagreement about something do you take the time during this Our power to discuss that and come disregard everything else within that hour or do you talk about out that separately at a different time. Okay I'll start and just interject about My thoughts about Our power you you start with subjects or things that are very safe and dozen caused a lot of friction I so if you will use the six areas areas for instance So using this area may be start with if your faith is very easy to start with then start with that one go and and and then. That's that's right and so until you able to to move. You may not be able to go through all six of those the areas in one time. You have to decide because what you WANNA do. You WanNa create a lot of attention. You WanNa be a good to have a common goal understand what your goal is it is is to move your family for is to be. Consistent is to connect with each other and communicate better open communication and dialogue. That's the whole purpose of having our power. So that would be one thing that I would recommend is just starting with your softish and you think that if an you mentioned the last power boost if you start with prayer that that kind of set the table forever they sets the tone and hopefully you. Don't get in to a tenuous a situation where you're you're you're arguing and couples you know each other's buttons right and you know what what things you should avoid and probably what you shouldn't do to keep this meeting as productive as it could be for your marriage in general which is the most important thing for you. So don't start saying things that may send things the wrong way and maybe cover those areas that you think would go a lot more smoothly and especially maybe initially write but that you should you should keep it somewhat light so that you can power through it no pun intended to power through it and and get through that meeting and then it can get deeper and a little bit more Media as as as as the other meetings happen that with that be safe to say that I would say so again cavern. I've been doing this for ten to fifteen years so we've got got some traction and experienced but when we first started we didn't use softballs. We always look in our our power with prayer on the front end. I on the backhand okay so when we're looking at our our power understanding this is an opportunity for you to dream. You're talking about your goals as a cop bowl your aspirations what you want to accomplish in life together so it should start off very very positive conversation okay and so understanding where you all are today and where you want to be just a year from now so set that short term goal and say here's what we would like to end up up like Catherine said you may not get to all six four areas districts with two or three of them and then only set two or three goes in each one of those core the area that way. It's not overwhelming. Yeah but it keeps you focused and I think our biggest thing is when we're talking through our biggest challenge that we have in. This process is to remain consistent and be intentional about it because you can do it for the first month. Two months three months. Look look good but when you're starting to work on the twelfth of mine and thirty six and the forty eight months that's when it can start to get get a bit challenging because you're like well it's okay. We don't have to do it this month. And whenever we miss a month because we haven't been perfect but whenever we miss a month we can tell We'll stop in the middle of the Mo.. No we needed to do this. We kept saying okay. We're GONNA do it then. Something come up go something nothing no where we say we gotta do it. Because is that's what we agreed to do and I liked. I like something that you said. In the last power boosts that was a part of the hour of power is is if you think about got it from progress and not perfection right where it's not about him or her being perfect for you you or him or her being perfect or this marriage being perfect. Let's work on these core areas and let's work on. Moving forward was more on getting progress aggressive in each one of these areas. And I I have a question to insomnia. I'm sorry I know you. Have you have another one. I think my other one was answered. It was about Arthur anything's anything's off limits. As to what you talk about think you address that meaning less. Do talk about that. We didn't actual- off limit. Okay for us off limits. But we've already said a what we call our non-negotiables anyway talked a lot about that. So are non-negotiable are. We're not going to talk about anything that's GONNA call. Strike are the D. Word. We don't talk about divorce. That's not a goal. That's not an aspiration Asian for us. So that's off the table. We're talking about building a life together so it's going to be those things that's going to enhance our relationship relationship. That's going to put us in a position to win. As if there's anything that you all to discuss this going to be contentious I would probably are. We not put that as part of the initial one of the things that just kind of come to mind was just Parenting parenting and the way you parent your children can be. Sometimes uh-huh very difficult and maybe the two of you guys are not on the same page. So parenting would probably not be one of those things that you would bring to the table. Well L. that but then as I guess that was my reason for asking the question is if you know that it's it's you you don't agree on those things. Do you talk about them anyway. Underneath family we do talk about them underneath family. So let's the way that we would phrase that parenting situation right is not in how we parent them. But what our goals and aspirations and dreams for our kids okay. So then we're looking so if it's to get hit their driver's license over the next six months. How do we work as a team to make sure that they get their driver's license by going to go into the school let's set up some rhythms that they can go out and we can teach them how to drive? Let's make sure that they're studying for the test. So that's all positive that you can work together gather and then when you invite your children into that goal planning process then it becomes. Yeah that you're doing so our power is not necessarily always just individually the two of you if you're talking about family and you're you're covering that in an hour of power you're pulling in your voice or one. Oh boy if you're talking about some goal for for him will what what we do is we have our own our power and because we're discussing the implementation the execution of it. Then we talk about. When do we actually have that conversation with our son so then we can go in together? Say here's what we got. We want you to get your the license. Here's some things that we can do to make sure you're successful than that. What you have and then we all start working toward that again? I love that and then he knows you know him or her. If you have daughters out there you're doing the same thing they know you're on you're on. Their team is a team effort. This is not just like here. You go you're on your own or or your mother's going to do this with you or your father going to do this with you. This is a team. Effort came together. And I love what Carlos say you to meet I because what you don't WanNa do not have a discussion and you go in and bring them in and then you say well. That's what well if we talked about Kuffour we came in and they're seeing you all Confused I mean. Just think about your job if you hadn't discussed that something with Your client or your boss lost before you went into the meeting and you guys go in there and you on different pages. You may lose their climax. Irag just perfect I love I love that okay. And here's the other thing that I have is that we love it. We don't all we meet in our bedroom when we have our our power normally uh-huh but we've met at coffee shops. We've met at bookstores. We've actually met when we were driving to another vet out of town and say l.. That gives us so great space that we can have this discussion. That connection part so it doesn't always have to be in the same place that you meet but just make sure that you meet. Beat whatever your rhythm is and I think that that's been really cool for US braid. That's awesome so power couples. This has been your power boost for the day once again. This is your hour of power. Let's call it. You're troubleshooting guide to the our power. Your power boost so power couples. Let's get it powered up..

"Not unlike the Republicans try to know. The facts are we said we wanted to see the facts in American people to see the facts. Whatever decision is made and it has not been major? Wherever's decision is made to go forward will be based on our honor and our oath of office not on the resistance to the truth of the Republicans on the other side? I think the sad tragedy of all this is the behavior of the president and the defensive offensive that behavior by the Republicans poetry what additional going to and the North American tree deal yet so she's patriotic Republicans are partisan and they're not honoring their oath of office. Right all right. Here's a little more into the chew. Set US free. President has said to me. They'll call was perfect. I said to him the call this perfectly weekly wrong. There's something very sad about all of this because the president is undermining and reading the fabric of our democracy and the patriotism of so many of the American people trying to make this a ploy for patriotism. I don't think that's going to I. I don't think that's GONNA work. I really don't think it's going to work Now David Holmes is testifying before the committee you will recall that Bill Taylor. The Acting Ambassador to Ukraine said said that he had an aide who could over here the president talking to Gordon someone on the phone and overheard their conversation Homes is that aid who testified right. Now we'll get to his life. Testimony committees resumed now talking But this is him being asked about the phone call all John batchelor silent place to call on his mobile phone. I heard him announced himself several times. Along the lines of Gordon Silent Holding for the president it appeared that he was being transferred. Several layers of switchboards and assistance and then noticing demeanor changed and understood that he had been connected to president. Trump bashur silence. Phone was not on speakerphone. I could hear the president's voice through the earpiece of the phone. The president's voice was loud owed and recognizable and Bashur silent held the phone away from his ear for a period of time presumably because of the loud volume I heard Ambassador Silent. Greet the president explaining was calling from cave. I heard president trump then clarify that embassador song was in Ukraine ambassador. Stalin replied yes. He was in Ukraine and went on to state It presents. alinsky quote loves her ass then heard President trump. Ask so he's going to do the investigation Basser Sahlin replied that he's going to doing. Oh boy so now. Here's what you need to know. There there are people casting doubts on Mr Holmes ability to over here the president when the president was not on on speakerphone. How is this possible? y'All I have personal experience with the president of the United States calling me at home Actually he called me and I was at a pizza restaurant. He called me on my cell phone and the president was loud enough. That without being on a speakerphone the people in a restaurant. The people at the I could hear the president on the phone talking to me for those of you who know English side pizza in Macon Georgia There one night with my wife and kids kids and I get an unlisted phone number calling me. It's like nine o'clock at night and if there's an unlisted phone number calling me that is probably a big deal so I I answer the phone and the president comes on favorite president was Donald Trump and we had a conversation in the pizza restaurant and you could tell remarkably the people at the booth next got rather quiet as they realized there was a voice on the phone Listen is it with the moment. I heard That David Holmes would claim that he could over here. The president On a cell phone through the earpiece not actually him on a speakerphone. I knew that the story was probably true. I like okay. We're not going to go into details here How do I put this? Because I don't want to give this okay so I know someone who was accused of infidelity infidelity in his marriage. Charlie if you're listening you know the story. I know someone who is accused of infidelity thirty in his marriage and the person who accused him said that he liked to to stay. Stay in one location but eat a very specific restaurant and that they would regularly is stay at a certain hotel and they would eat at a specific restaurant and when that story was told I immediately knew that this woman had to be telling the truth had had to be telling the truth because I had had people take me to this restaurant on multiple occasions that I was not a fan of this restaurant and when I asked why are we meeting. Why are you bringing meter this restaurant? Their response was oh well. This this guy likes this restaurant so we presumed you would to always wants deed here. Like goshen strong really really. That is all I can say one day. Maybe I can actually tell that full story but today is not that day. Let's just say that little things like this happen occasionally. Oh so once told the truth because they give a detail random detail you're like oh my gosh. I know that details true. And there's no way this person window that unless it happened in and David Holmes Guy Testifying before the House Intelligence Committee says that he could over here. The president talking very loudly on a phone even though the president was one of the speakers like I that has happened to me with my family at a restaurant at like nine o'clock at night by the way is just as a random aside. I was mentioning to someone in the the White House a while. Back that this has happened. And the look on their face of He's calling you directly without madeline. Madeline was his assistant. Untold Old A couple of months ago only happened one time every other time you know what has the president calls is a is assistant calls. Madeleine was his assistant until recently madeline call and she'd say. Is this Eric Your exhibit. I say yes. Typically I say this is Eric and says Mr Eriksson. This is madeleine with with president trump. Please hold for the president of the United States and your put on hold and then the president comes on and you have a conversation with the president. I it's it's kind of funny That's happened apple a couple of times. I was actually in school. Line picking up my kids from school in the president kept talking and the windows were day was it was in May I was at. The school is like the last week of school the president called. I'm in the line at school and I got a raise the windows because he's on the speakerphone and people are looking in my car. Like that sounds like Donald. Donald Trump is on the phone with you and I had to raise the window. I gotTa Tell You I know a number very prominent people who you would all know I've got one person who is is so famous that I keep him in my cellphone but he's under a completely different name That only I know I don't think he even knows zoom of giving him because he's super famous and he would get in a whole lot of trouble if people knew we were friends and so I don't even really let that people know that we're friends. But I've got a lot of people in my address book and it's still always surreal to me to have conversations with with the billionaire are CEO's and in actors and actresses and the President of the United States. It's really weird. I'm just a guy in Macon Georgia I happen to have this microphone thing here in front of me but I'm I'm just a guy in middle Georgia and yet all these people call and it. I mean it's kind of cool but it's also very very surreal. It very much is. What are the people who calls me me every once in a while Who I've gotten to be friends with in fact I gotta go teach them how to use his pizza of an so? I've got this random. Just random bear with me. I have a pizza oven. It's called a rock box our OCC Buick if you like Neapolitan style pizzas. If you just want good outdoor pizza oven I gotTa Tell You I I love my rock box You can it's wood-burning appropriate. It gets up to nine hundred degrees. Can Cook a Neapolitan style pizza in about a minute. It's fantastic Charlie has just turned off the phone lines because he knows there's no point in any of you calling now because now I'm talking about cooking. This thing is great and I put up pictures and Secretary Perry called me at home. I'm always in line somewhere. I was in line at Chick fillet getting the kids his food and an unknown number calls and I answer it and and it's it's rick and he and his wife. They've bought a rock box because they've seen my pictures alive but he needs my dough recipe and I I get these random calls. He called the other day just to check on Christie. And he is. He's leaving. He is retiring. y'All Rick Perry is a good good good man Ian Anita are just dear sweet people I love them dearly and I don't get to spend enough time with him and it is remarkable that he Nikki Haley or two of the few people to leave the trump White House. "From rags students. I would say. Good may be empty. And of course, it is Tony Bennett with rags to riches and, you know, estate taxes and probate, and all that kind of stuff it's actually designed to do the exact opposite. It's assigned to. Take you from richest Irag. And we do not want that to happen to you. So every week at this time we have our estate tip of the week now this week, we're going to talk about the charitable remainder trust charitable. Remainder trust. So just like the name implies charitable remainder. Right. So what that means is, is that whatever's left in the trust the remainder goes to charity of your choice. Okay. Now, let's talk about why distrust can be so interesting. Let's say that you have an asset and investment, a piece of real estate, for example, or let's use real estate, Seattle piece a real estate. And let's say you bought that piece of real estate for one hundred thousand dollars ten years ago. And now it's worth one million dollars. Okay. So you bought it for one hundred thousand ten years ago. It's fantastic, Lee. Well you bought it in a perfect spot. It's worth a million dollars. Now, you want to sell it, and you want to get an income from that piece of property from the proceeds of the sale for the rest of your life. That's what you wanna do. Well, let's, let's do the math here so you sell the property and you've had it for a hundred. You're selling it for a million, so you made a nine hundred thousand dollar prop profit. Right. And capital gains. Let's say you're twenty percent. So you made that you got to pay one hundred eighty thousand dollars in capital gains taxes. So now you're million is down that hundred eighty thousand. So now you've got what is that seven hundred eighty thousand dollars left for eight hundred twenty thousand and now you've got to take the income off that reduced amount Now, Dan upon your death because what happens to the money that still left from your investing? You have to pay taxes on it potentially from an estate tax standpoint. Now I'll turn. Number two, is a charitable remainder trust. So what you do is you take that piece of property that million dollar property and you put it into the trust. Now, the trust is a charity. So it sells that piece of property for you how much tax charities pay zero. So we've just saved a hundred and eighty thousand dollars in capital gains taxes. Now you say to the trust. I want to receive income from this for the rest of my life. So now you're getting the income on the entire million, not on the hunt, eight hundred twenty thousand that was left. Otherwise, so you get a higher income, the trade off all of this is that upon your death whatever's remained remaining in the trust must go to charity. Okay. That's the downside if you have heirs that you wanna leave money too, so you would put money in the charitable remainder trust that your greedy unwashed undeserving errors will not get okay because upon your death, the income stops and the remainder goes to charity. And so you choose your charity. So this is a kind of trust at. Could be very interesting for those of you who have, you know asset of appreciated a lot since you bought them, and you're concerned about selling them, because of the capital gains taxes, will, this is the way of getting rid of that getting a nice income and benefiting charity. Yeah, you like apples. How about them apples? So now one of the things I think I mentioned to you is that we are firm, our firm is called retirement planners of America. And so as the name implies, we, we work with people who are over the age of fifty who are retired or retiring soon. So that is you we would love to meet with you, and see if we can help you if we can do something to help you. We have two goals. One is for you to have financial peace of mind, and Secondly for your money to last as long as you do. One of the things we say, we're not here to make you rich quick. We're here to keep you from becoming poor. Dorothy it. Absolutely is not too wonderful to be true, because it is true that those articles and therefore, if.

"Heavy. Trashy heavy today. Janea somewhere not screaming in my ear. And I'm grateful. He man. So the government is reopened, you know, on like like on from like some clarity day like a ninety day probation Irag might even I don't even know super ears aided. But I'm glad you know, for those who deserve to get paid. And like haven't been getting paid. It's this is just been disgusting. And it's just the whole purpose behind it as disgusting, and the reason behind him open, the government is discussing because he didn't reopen the government out of the kindness of his heart or knowing that people needed to work and make money and like provide for their families, and we're putting their cars up for sale for groceries and into make rent and all kinds of crazy shit. No, he reopened the government because his friend got indicted. I thought that I mean, I could be wrong. But it doesn't it's not lost on me that the convenience of the reopening also falls around things like the Super Bowl like major money making periods. Yes. In in this country all star weekend. So major events are happening within the next minute shutdown right before tax return, exactly. And I feel as though, you know, the bottom line will always be the dollar. And I mean, just even in the interest of safety like you cannot have air traffic controllers into USA and all the other government officials. But specifically those who, you know. Monit or work in travel and transportation. With that kind of money moving. No in this country. I feel like that may have something to do with that is just my own theory. No, one told me that would just kind of talking in the at the beauty parlor on Friday, and that kind of came up, but. Either way you slice. It black is beautiful as right? Yeah. But yeah, he did it because this friend was getting indicted. That's what I think. And like, I think it also is a combination with that in all of the money making Vince such as the Super Bowl, but it was served as a distraction. You know, what he thought it was serve as the distraction because if you haven't looked into the Roger stone business get into it. It's heavy so Cardi that deal with Pepsi and has another Super Bowl commercial cause remember she had one last year. And then khloe in Hallier also performing at the Super Bowl. So I know really. Yeah. It's been a lot of I've seen a lot of things about that. You know, people feel a lot of ways, and, you know, my house in particular is is, you know, we knew cabinet we stay here for Nick. But you know, we're not big football people. And it's fine. Like, whatever you all choose to do. I know a lot of negative who watch football, no legs. Who don't I'm not getting ready to pass judgement on anybody khloe Halley, though. Like, you know, I, you know, they gotta get their coin. I guess if we wanna look at the silver lining of it like at least they're trying to get black performers in there. So it could be worse. It could just be like no representation whatsoever. So I don't know take that as you will. But you don't know how about it. Yeah. I, you know, right. I tried to find something positive in it. And I'm like, all right. You know, like clothing like, but. We like khloe Halley. So it makes it difficult. Right. But. We like a lot of people, and they will get to that something positive beyond say's coming back with new music soon. Lou the dream said he's working on music with she. And I think we all knew it because we saw the Braves for so long. So we knew something was coming. She's been kind of quiet, you know, although she could just be a mother does that lottery. She does have three she s three. One of those threats threesome migos. Three musketeers migos? She's got three kids. So she could very well. Just be doing that. But every time we see the braids..

"Everyone. We're back here with John. Hi colleague at NYU stern. John. There's a lot of discussion around this kind of expected millennial generation in the work floors. That is I would argue expectant, but also incredibly talented, what do you expect from or what will the impact be on corporate America? Is this sort of fragile generation if you will starts to enter the workforce. Yes. So first we have to be very very clear that the kids born in nineteen ninety five and after are, not millennials. So the kids the last millennials graduated from college. I mean, those who are at least going for four years, they graduated from college around twenty fifteen twenty sixteen everyone who's graduating after that is jen's E, and they have substantially different child. Born in nineteen Ninety-six you had a substantially different childhood than if you were born nineteen Ninety-three in that you got social media much younger age were more overprotected. So let's be very clear. Millennials are actually doing fine millennials are creative. They go out and start businesses, you know, every generation left Irag on the one behind it. But when you look at the mental health stats millennials are doing fine. The next generation is not jen's e there's a really sharp spy around twenty twelve twenty thirteen if you look at all the date on teen mental health, you see that nothing is changing except for. Depression, anxiety, and those are going very fast. Going up in boys somewhat and going up girls much faster. And so the the campus. So this is what hit us in on campus around twenty thirteen hundred fourteen when jen's e arrived on campus and brought their norms of safety and fragility and ask for more protection. Once they began graduate and getting hired now in the last year only last year, I'm now whenever I talked to someone in business. I've well very often hear story like we were in a sales meeting, and you know, somebody used a metaphor. And and they're told a joke, and and you know, next thing, I know there's a complaint HR, and and and you know, as one said to me where all just exhausted from dealing with this stuff. It's like, you know, we have a job to do here. And we're spending all our time policing speech responding, how do we respond to and it's not, you know, if it was obviously racist stuff, that'd be one thing. But like one story was, you know, in a meeting somebody said, yeah. But that would be like selling ice to eskimos, and, you know, a recent college grad objected and went HR and complained. Now, you might say, what's the is this an anti eskimo joke. But it it's it's a this is what Kuala culture's all about. It's not about did. You intend? Did you say something bad about eskimos that they have a lot of ice up there? No, it's if you can possibly interpret someone else's words in the worst possible way, you should do. So because that's how you get prestige points. And so this campus callout culture, which is completely into to cooperation. I mean people who do this. It's very hard to cooperate with them. You have to walk on shells around them. So it's going to have transformed is my prediction. I know you like predictions on this show. My prediction is that all the problems that we have on campus. The the endless conflicts over words, and clothing and food these endless conflicts are coming to you in corporate America depends on the industry. I hear they're already there in journalism in tech, actually. But I think they're going to enter just about every industry. I mean, maybe not mining or something, but any any industry that hires a smart kids from the elite schools, especially in the north. East and west coast is going to be importing this conflictual attitude. And what so I think we're already seeing it..

"He probably was he's got that kind of by laukahi him. He's like I used to be a snail name. Turbo. Have that? So Ross sees Riley. He's like oh help you cleaned up down here. Got act like gold is trying to prove something with all this wishy steering, the cross sake woman. Grab a dish Irag and get to it. It was so patronizing though, because it's like the fact that he this is actually like again, another sort of complicated situation. Because in a certain sense, she is trying to prove like, you know, what you don't have to treat me like, oh, man. I like my women like like like the way that they're saying women, you know, like, you don't have to me like lesser them. I should I shall laborat- as I'm just as capable just because I'm a woman. So in a sense, she is proving something, but at the same time, there's an element of like, she's just doing her job. And the fact that he perceives that she's need to prove something is sort of like an inherently condescending perspective to have. So it's like a really fascinating like workplace amick that I think probably a lot of people deal with. Yeah. So he's like. Let me just help. Let me just help us. You trung? I see it. And I got it you show. Yes. I got it. I've got it to third time. I've got you wanna ask me third time. What happened for four back in time? You want me to go somewhere and let me.
