"We are now five. Nine to noon with code is ready to go John Thune two-time Super Bowl champion packers and Saints Brian Butch International Manta basketball mystery, and a former friend Lebron James, and he's still. Lebron James. ready to go so well, the Lakers. Smash Smash. Mad Dash it's over bushy. Over before it started. Yes yeah. No I even turned the game off after it was after they were up by thirty and that never thought I'd say that about an NBA finals but I'm like this is over with and with the injuries at the he'd had yeah, it's a it's a game series. This is it. Lebron wins the title with Third Team. Crazy like I mean it'll still play out interesting because bolster as a good coach Mike get one but they just don't have the firepower. Davis is half the size of half the heat for crying out. Loud I with Bam's injured. WHO's GonNa Guard Anthony Davis answered that nobody. Came over man frigging game over. COON YOU WANNA YOU WANNA put it in a push. It's not over yet or now now now it's over it's over yet I was over about halfway through the second quarter yesterday and that was the series and thank you very much for showing up but Lebron. Did it again figured out a way to how to make the NBA uninteresting? It's lebrons, faulk. It was Lebron's fault that this was all over eight before they went to the bubble. Everyone was like space jam is the bronze fault don't get me started just WanNa hate on the broad instead of look at it and realized that man has done and said. What? Gives you a Humphrey? Nobody. Friends. We've. All got to say we are doing this with Aaron Rodgers you do that with Tom Brady you can hang them all you want but you have to admit its greats. Out My, best friend. Anyway. Let's get to Let's get to the real meat of the situation. Last night you had a situation where a athlete boys just didn't have it. I'm sure at some point you've both been sort of in that position right where you're like, why can't I do what I know I normally do. And we saw last night with the brewers. Yeah I mean for myself. I don't know if I ever couldn't do what I thought. I could do I just got slower and when you're not fast to begin with, that's what really. Sets sets a sign up for you. I can't remember watching my phone film my last year in New Orleans of myself. Am I running full speed. was is out is that I it so When you first noticed it. When was it? WAS IT in film? You like got it doesn't look like I'm very fast. Yeah it was. It was probably towards the end of my first year in New Orleans I can't remember and I kind of had a little bit of a groin issue going on but I was running at full speed and I looked like everybody else was fast forward on the screen chasing me I thought to myself at doesn't look too good boy that's that's that's like the first time I looked at myself and normal I wasn't ever a fast guy. You didn't go from fast to slow. You want from slow too slow or yeah and what really makes this a trip is do you guys? Jeff Saturday when he came to the Green Bay packers. Center I fourteenth year. He played thirteen years in Indianapolis Played His fourteenth year. Green Bay and I love Jeff Amazing? Human being. But he was on zero. He was completely on empty when he came to the Green Bay packers that year and I can remember we watched him on a screen pass struggled to get from the hash mark to the numbers to try and block on a screen. And he just whipped on the block and he fell down and I can remember sitting in meetings with other running backs and James starks watching the Game Phil just like Oh my Gosh Jeff is so old look at Jeff out there trying so hard and we were just and I saw myself as Jeff Saturday on the film and I thought boy you gotTa stretch this thing out somehow 'cause. That's that's what I always want to know is how funny are the film room Paul the Rating, their great. We just we just bust chops all the time you you make. Be a TV show I wanNA see what the packers defensive room said when they looked to. Alexander trying to mosh pit Kamar. Alvin Kamara out of bounds they must've done the loop rewind loop rewind. It's like, what are you? Right Look at this you're just launched into him. There's no arms. You didn't try to tackle them. You just sort of like bumped him what the hell man not tell you coming after a win everybody's laughing. It's a fun room. You'll lose that game seven of you see that play it's the worst thing world right or on the on that play Dr L. Savage just pushing his own guy. He ended the pile and then missing the cutback like Bro. What are you doing? This guy cuts back. That's what he does. What about on a basketball but she is there ever sort of goofing around about how could you not be in position there do something stupid. Oh. Yeah. All the time. Especially when you get dumped on, that's that's when it really gets you. You'd. Be The guy on film that you get someone else says, you know what? In your face because it? It goes on replay over and over and over again, and for some reason, most coaches that I've dealt with, let that play out but then they pick out how you got dunked on. Well, he should've came over here. Rewind should've done this in every time. So you watched about twenty different times of you getting dunked on in front of everybody. It's not good It's not good at all when I got professional you got there was a lot more joking around going I'm at Wisconsin not so much vocab it pretty serious we. We were like I say coach. He coached from fear you had to like you knew what you need to do. Film Room was not enjoyable. What's there was no laughing one way or win or lose losses were just brutal on losses were aged about an hour and a half film session winds were still about forty five minutes to an hour. So I enjoyed film sessions a lot more as a pro than I did a college Steve The best film sessions in the NFL are by far the special teams because that's where the most trash talking happens for a couple. Of reasons number one, the whole teams in there except about eight stars that don't play a single special teams, everybody else play special teams. So everybody's in the room and then the second dynamic as you got to watch it from from the white copyright, it's gotTa be zoomed out so you can get everybody in the screen for special teams at the same time. So you'll see guys thirty yards away from the ball, take a cheap shot and get ejected from the screen and everybody and one by one guys in a room. Go you you. You and the coach doesn't know what he's talking about because the coach is watching the ball wondering, what are these guys doing here, and then finally you see a guy, forty yards away from the ball gets shot into the first row the bleachers. I still, WANNA times in high school our coach He'd had we did film and there's one time are wide receiver Renan like a sixty yard touchdown but the side judge came running down the sideline in past him all the way to the. Guys on the sideline chasing the ball air flying. If I could have their seat and he kept reminding us like writing fast forward rewind fest just made fun of the Guy 'cause he was fastest guy on the team. Women Film for You ice. On on VHS tape..

"He'll two one Orange County. But right now we're gonna finish our conversation, rose, rose. Thank you so much for hanging out. So you're clerk DWP you got tired of the mismanagement. We missed you mistreated. In a way, but not, not, not it was indirect very sneaky. They know how to play the game. They know that they could get, you know, we were protected quote, unquote protected by that WINS and other medical worker. So the managers knew Dane, good and well, they weren't too lot of classes, a lot of, you know, discipline classes, and they knew how to go about and be sneaky inclined to signed. Not. That's not really that's an issue. But you want to know what's going on with I had inside. Listen, it's mismanaged because these managers are over paid and Metaxas because it's politically motivated, you guys ready pretty much know that be w is powerful. And he is in those guys are in the pockets of Garcetti, even though Garcetti's, Republican IB, w those unions, are mostly democrat, you know, sitting there now he's not Republican democrat. Oh, yes. Well, then there you go. But see, I saw a lot of overtime 'cause I was denied ninth because I did not play their game. I'm different. Yes. I did not. They're behind. What was the game? They have a culture management has a culture DWP. You do what we say you shut your mouth, and you will get favoritism you will get overtime. And I don't care let somebody calling call in and say that will you know what know that f- I am not? I will tell you straight up. The reason why it's not a big overturn of people say because they are taken care of so, well, they are paid. So how does how do you think somebody who salary was twenty five thousand dollars made three hundred thousand thirteen thousand behind. They do what they're told. They rat on f they rat on the co workers, I was constantly being ratted on constantly get in trouble for doing. I'm not saying I was saying I'm not saying I was doing it. I'm not corrupt. I wasn't stealing from the company stealing customers. I wasn't working all the time. I wasn't changing my time on my time sheet. I mean the scene those people do man. But it's okay because. You're in their circle. If you're in their quick. It's okay. And that's what I'm telling you. It's mis managed by bunch of Narsingh corrupt. Oh, yes. Ma'am over paid managers, and they have different levels manage a one, two, three four and five, and guess who's calling the shots the higher up? You are you're on the shots. And everybody goes and worship fuelling kisses her behind, as you're in control. Yeah. Thank you. Site will hopefully Roberts into that, and we can get this still more to be told like, how are those people retain their power who were the muscling to keep it? I hear you. But I wanna know more exactly what that I know that's the, that's a nice glossy word, but exactly what's going on there, because I bet I because it could be Debbie corrupt as well as. You try to get somebody who's in there. Now try to get good luck on that. You need to try to get somebody who was there now that can talk to you non Asli and give you the low down scoop if anybody's listening. Listen. Evidence listening Lawrence. We have a whistle blower. Attorney, what's our international Manta mysteries day. Let's get him in there. I wanted to go in say wanna talk to you on the radio want him to go in and infiltrate infiltrate the story eight hundred two two two two phone number now, which to Karen Williams, presidency of two hundred county as usual when you drive in Orange County. I don't know how you guys have this experience drive down the five someday. If you wanna have crappy LA county is you hit the border, Orange County, literally all of a sudden, you can take a deep breath. The roads expand the three three cleaner the air is cleaner. Everything works to Orange County, a homeless problem, those getting out of control. They started to take care of it. And he went to one part of that solution. Karen, thanks for joining us. Thank you for having me. Tell me about the organization, which you guys are doing well, Cuban Orange County is a group that links are most vulnerable population with health and human resources that they need. So what does that mean way are involved with everything from helping the homeless where the virtual Fran front door for the coordinated entry system into the communities? So means somebody's homeless, they call us, and we get them connected with the, the correct outreach worker so they can be assessed and then put into line to get housing to becomes available. The second is that were virtual front door for veterans were part of veterans collaborative and have been for, for four years now, and that's been working really well, in terms of trying to make sure that our veterans and their families, get the resources that they need because it's so hard to navigate the system. There are a lot of resources out there, but we make very tough. For people to get to them. Same thing with domestic violence. If somebody calls us, we can get them right into a domestic violence program to make sure they're safe and secure. And also with food was Cal fresh program. We not only can help people obtain their Cal fresh benefits, but we also set appointment for all the agencies in the community that offer Cal fresh. So we really are kind of a one stop shop for people on the big challenge for our organization as well as the two ones across the country, and I don't know if you're aware that there are two one running out of ninety five percent of the country, only place places, believe it or not, it doesn't have it as the Chicago area, but we have we have great coverage and it really started with when Hurricane Katrina, hit back in two thousand and five and also had people who really needed help, who had never had tapped into social services before. And when. You don't know where to find help. It's, it's tough on. So, so that's kind of, how that was kind of the impetus to really bring the two one number four and make it available in all communities carrying you mentioned in the very beginning. You said, you know, you help the most vulnerable that are out on the streets and the homeless. But you said they call you when they they need services, but some of the most vulnerable, how do they call you do some of that impair? Yeah. Like how do you go out and find them? Right. Well, there, there are couple of things there are number of outreach programs, and I will say that Orange County has invested in the last year or two in both outreach services, as well as building up of bed capacity, because one of the things that I know that you've talked about this issue before, but part of the problem is, when you have no place to send somebody like emergency shelter or transitional shelter or any permanent supportive housing and it's hard to get them off the street. So. There has been an investment of real concerted look at making vestment to that. So part of what we do is we once we identify where the individual is we get them connected with the outreach worker and or the outreach, workers out on the street, and then they connect them to we, we work in partnership. So you guys are not actually providing services. You're connecting people to services. Yeah, you're the conduit, where the conto exactly we really are in it, it, it seems like you know, maybe I can see where it could see maybe not all that necessary. No, no. I think you're so important because people people realize that there are people on the street, and that there are services, but a lot of times, people don't realize how to get to the service you need somebody to take your hand and walk you through. And go no. This you go here. I this is the this is the paperwork, you need or you go. No, you don't need this service. You actually need to go to this service. I mean you're that's the important key. I think is you're the you're the actual important part that people are missing. And I think one of the things that we've discovered here over the last couple of years because some of the partnerships that we've had that have been more comprehensive with the service providers. As been that we the role that we can really feel is in being a three hundred sixty degree connection by being the virtual front door into these services and provide a comprehensive support through one call, meaning that once somebody connects with us to be able to connect them to the agency, but then also to follow back up with them, because one of the things we found just anecdotally from talking to our clients, is that we might send we might give somebody a referral for food pantry than what they'll find is if they were there last week, the food pantry won't give them food this week. Now, that may says from business perspective, it's like we've got one of two problem either that, that, that particular food pantry doesn't have enough capacity to serve the people that are there or they have barriers, in place, some policies decisions, made by whoever their board of directors, and it could also be. That maybe we just need another nonprofit down in that area serving those people, but I think that they're two pieces of it one is that you need to identify what the problem is. I'm a big believer in that you don't just manage to the problem, but you have to figure out a way to solve it and the solving part of it to me really comes from more of looking at from a business standpoint of saying, what do we need to get people from a position aide position? Be all the way to the in get them stabilized in back on their feet, and so many of them are resistant. What do we do with these resistance people resistant, folks? Well, I think if you're talking in terms of homelessness, a lot of that has to do with the one on one relationship with a care coordinator for them. It's getting people back on their medicines. And things of that level. What's interesting, though, is that of the, the people who call us. I would say, probably at least seventy percent seventy five percent are not homeless. But they might be on the verge of. Homeless. And I think that, that's one of the things we need to be aware while we're addressing the homeless issue because we know that chronically homeless. Right. That's the that's the we are concerned about. That's the group of emergency needs help. It's going to low. I agree with you on that. But I think something that we need to be aware of and looking out on the horizon for are the people who were on the verge of becoming homeless. Because once you've become homeless, it's harder to pull your itself. Bashar. Bays by is that it relies was significant in the homeless population as they are is the, the objects of domestic violence. I mean, there's so many great resources out there. And now it's good to know that they can also just dial, this number and get to resources. I worked for human options. I did some stuff for them and partners just there and they're all great. And there's lots of great resources to, to me. It seems there is a population that we should be able to go. Okay. That's to stay on the street. They may need education. They need. We just have to one one plastered everywhere. So they just call and get in. That's it. Right. Well, that's exactly right. And I think that let me just say they get is they don't want to leave. They don't wanna hear that. They have to leave the partner. That's what they don't want to. So it's part of their and also fear. Let's face it, as we as we're raised in this society. We don't spend a whole lot of time talking about the, the pitfalls that we're going to be falling into then. How do you get out of the most people? My dad said to me when we hit this latest recession. He said, the reality is, is baby boomers haven't really been through something like this. And so you're having to learn a whole new level of skill set. I think that's really true. And I I'm concerned about the silver tsunami. That's coming up with baby boomers, we have so many people who don't really have the resources to live on, and I think especially out here and the, the western half of the US, we have a lot of people who are here without family members around them. So what what's going to happen to them? And how do we get them educated? Fact that there are resources out there. Same thing with the tape population. I think that the young people to an awful lot. We see those populations growing. And then finally, the, the group that needs this particular Angels' attention, the drug addicts, and the resist a drug addict is not gonna dial two one one so any thoughts on that. Well, I mean, I think part of the part of the whole question about drug addiction in or any kind of substance addiction is that the supposed remedies for are not necessarily all that successful. But what we can do, I would say from two one standpoint, they might not call their family members call it. That's a lot of the people who will call us. We'll be the people who are concerned about them and try to figure out how to find resources. And that's good. And that's, that's the way that we can definitely help. That size properly motivated. Addicts get well it just doesn't get well..

"We're good man. So the question came up, girl, Lindsay called in and said, who, who from barstool, do you think will be the first person to date a celebrity? And we said it has to be like an alien a Lister and an I don't think anybody here really can. I also thought that if anything it would be a girl because like a guy who was an atlas there might still be like I wanna sex, without girl, whereas girls might not I don't think we'll stoop down to our level, but you are at international Manta mystery you are low level. You are very Kramer s fall ass backwards into this ridiculous life. You have been known to pull chicks who are high above your pay grade. I you know, and maybe you would be a reasonable pick. Do you think would you bet on yourself? Do you have any experience in this field? How would you approach it? What would you do? Do you have any advice? Gimme mardi, motions thoughts on hooking up with a celebrity. Well, first of all, I'm what a hot streak on. Are you talking believable? I really I don't know what's happening. This is why I need a hidden camera show with mardi much like what a hot streak like. How are you on a hot streak double double shot at rat? That's when they. Love love. I know. But yeah, I think hot, it's first of all, it's too hot out for sex anymore, by the way, this, too. It's too much. Now, I'm with you on that. I mean in general sex is tough, especially when you go sticky and sweaty. Now, I think I would, I think I wouldn't know who the girl is, and I would just be like doing my stupid shit, and unrealized like after the foul shit that would be the rom com plot like you know, doesn't dope it he doesn't realize he's dating if you're Kardashian or Anna Kendrick, I don't know who you will also came up because she isn't Alastair, but she is, she's pretty cool. She really appreciates like humor. I could see you're not being like like Anna. Kendrick doesn't strike minutes type is like I'm only going to date other famous people. So I think it's kind of a Downer and I do think that someone like yourself would she would be like, I feel bad for this bass that let me, let me try to help. Pitying you. Not even pity though. I think that maybe if you departure from my life of, like Glenn A-List, slumming, celebrity girl might just be like you know what? I'm sick of these guys that are just constantly wanting to talk. Yeah. Because even like I mean, we are brought like z listers, like I don't even know where on the scale but I know that now when guys talked to me at bars, I always in the back of my head or like you're only talking to me, because, because I work at parcel, and nine times out of ten. The first question is always about one of you guys. It's like, oh, Kevin Dave, Dan. It's like, okay, you're only talking me because of that. If you're in, you're, like appreciate it when somebody is like, hey, can I buy you a drink and like they don't mention barstool at all? It's great. So I can imagine Ayla celebrity girls at paparazzi following them around. They're like God. I just wanted to partner from this, like, I just want to live a normal life mardi Moshe could be that normal life. I don't know about normal. Well, but. For a more normal person life than I have different parts of your brain that you don't think about these look, these celebrities to come down there and say, oh, man, I never thought about three and one chiampou like some shit like that. Do you think that they think all ponds are circles? Well, that's fact. About a square pond pond. Yeah. Idiot C square. Okay. We're not gonna mardi and I have gone back and forth on this forever there. He's convinced they're all perfect circles. We don't have to get like this is not what we came on radio on Tuesday to talk about just saying they're not I might be more on this week..
