Also I just want to say I know the holidays are coming up and people are already probably thinking about Christmas cookies and all the things that they're going to eat but I do want to say this from experience. I'm glad I started when I did. There are so so many reasons that I could have pushed it off and said I'm not GonNa do it. My birthday's in January and I started in January. I could've just said well I'll wait till this time and I've done that too many years in a row and just imagine starting twenty twenty ten pounds down instead of ten pounds up. I feel like it would really set you up for for two thousand twenty and really get you on a great path and feeling good about yourself and so don't let the holidays get in the way of your goals all right. Let's let's go to the show. Wendy thank you so much for coming on the show today. Oh thank you amber. I'm so happy to be here so when the late start off every show with an icebreaker on travel I travel travel agent so I just like asking my guests their favorite vacation spots. And why and this can be with or without kids okay. Well most of my best trips are without kids. My my husband and I go on like a big trip every five years for anniversary so my favorite spot was five years ago we went to New Zealand and it was a missing now. I can't not mention Croatia because we will just just there. S who weeks ago so and it was amazing. Yeah but we had some blunders. I'm curious because that's on my list. People know if they listen to my show enough they know that I want to go to Croatia. It's just a long hike I mean but New Zealand further. So yes New Zealand's further no it was just things out of our control of like got cancelled. A couple of days of our trip went out the window and my husband lost his is bad and so then you can have bad days and try to get it and then you're looking when you only have one pair on where like you know what I mean. It's not on the trip. was super like frustrating and then it all just got better. How did you go see her? Wish Split Wiese piece. We did spend a little time in Split. I would say my favorite thing. Operation was Visa National Park and it is was amazing amazing. Oh my gosh. It was amazing and then we kind of went down the coast. We went to a couple of the islands which was amazing and then we ended our trip in Dubrovnik. which was? That's awesome. Great did you get a boat and take it out to the islands. Yes we took a ferry L. fairy split and yet wetsuit Korcula And we stayed in Coachella for a night. We should've been unites okay and then took another ferry over to mill yet. which is this little tiny and they're also as as a national park on the island and we stayed there for a couple of days and they were both fabulous? So I'm more okay me. That's good to know because we yeah We can we booked to Croatian so I always like asking people who have gone like really. How do they like the breakdown of the trip? So you wish you were to stay on the little islands more than what Yes but I would still do like if I told anyone go crazy. I'd still say you have to go to sleep pizza it. There's magical. Yes definitely so amazing I could. We could have skipped a key a couple places like we don't need the walled cities. Oh God the day old cities walled city. If you'RE GONNA Dubrovnik. Yeah you're trying to do any of the other ones being so yeah. So so how fabulous. How many nights were you there? Total we'll the whole trip was two weeks so traveling there. So do you feel like that's what what you really needed you to go to Croatia. Because of the how far it is and to be able to see things. Do you feel like that was good. Or do you feel like you could have shortened it or just changed it around with how many nights you would put in certain places. Well I'd I honestly don't know if you could. I guess you could shorten it if you only stayed in one or two places right because we wanted to see several things and you know you're watching places but I would never stay at a place for only one night which we did a few times and you wishes regretted it so pick the places you really WanNa see Ya and stay two nights okay. The places you don't need to see just drive you through and had lunch driving. I love it I love it. I like when I talk to people and they really make a point of doing things for their anniversaries anniversaries or or just making a point to kind of go on couples trips like on a normal basis. It can be like every year it could be five years like you're saying And have you done that from the very beginning when your kids were little or do you find that you started doing that as your kids got a little bit older because I you feel like a lot of moms are kind of like an even for me. I have to figure out like how far my willing to go with how little my kids are. So Croatia keeps getting pushed. Because I'm like a I feel like they need to be older for me to leave them. So how did you figure all of that out. Because I'm trying. I tried to inspire MOMS to really think about this to travel more especially with their spouse. Yeah well you know at our five year anniversary our kid were just being born. That did not happen but our the ten year we went on our first kind of big trip by ourselves and they were still really little. Yeah two and four were Yup Two and four where to go but we went to Hawaii Okay and we went to Hawaii. Yeah we were there for two weeks because we just thought two weeks is the minimum. Because I'm sorry you cut out you say my mother and father in law. Oh are they the ones who watch them. Oh I said Ed yes. My mother in law and father in largest amazing would make such go to yes. I know I was like wait. Who Watching Your Eddie? Two Week trips totally. That's ten Hawaii and then we did fifteen in New Zealand and then we just did our twenty the university in Croatia so kids are fifteen almost thirteen. So it's a little easier now. Yeah there by the way I wanna go with you guys. He's like why are you leaving me here. Well they do what they also really liked staying home by themselves. Oh yeah that does make a difference. The grandparents the parents really just drove them around this time so they were still them. They just had show I so I love it. Okay so you just told us how old your kids are so how. `Bout you jump into telling us a little bit more about yourself your name where you're from so you have two kids and and then we'll jump into how you got to where you are today. Okay well my name is Wendy Wendy Lou Lee and I I been married for twenty years. I've got got two kids and I guess I'm I little house on. The prairie really is beginning and it has brought me through my whole life S. amazing. I'm still doing this after forty something years. Well Yeah Yeah so that. That kind of takes me to my first question. I'm talking about Little House on the prairie and you were baby grace So how about you share with us. How that journey was for for you and kind of like you were just saying now? You're still kind of talking about it so many years later. So how about you to share a little bit of the background with all of that and how it changed her life. Okay well you know. We were eight months old when we started on this show because yes I have a twin sister and we shared the role of baby grace. My name is Brenda and couldn't have done it without her. So WanNa give her a little shoutout and I you know just kind. NFL In our laps. my mom was definitely not the stage mom with hiring agents to try to get her toddlers on TV. That was not our story. Our story very was just my grandmother having lunch with a friend who was the casting director needing twins were the right age age with the right blonde hair blue eyes and then we automatically are magically transported into the office of Michel Lindon. And he says Oh my goodness there my girls and we have a role on. It's just crazy that at all happens. Yeah Yeah so we spent. We spent four seasons on little house from eight months old until four and a half and then when the show Oh no longer involved us. meaning that the ingalls family moved away and I guess the baby had to go with them. We were done a little house one commercial and then we started kindergarten and we were normal normal kids out there that my mom was done with all of that Hollywood we just lived a turtle normal life after that. It's it's all in before kindergarten which is so crazy. Yeah total lifetime of before raid Kinda wild. Yeah so we didn't really Rian reunite with the cast until twenty five years later. Wow I met them all again when I was pregnant with with my son and that was when we started going on trips with the cast little house sites all of the country. Oh and that's when all of a sudden we were like baby grace Oh my that's basically what kind of started this whole. It re entered my life and had wow so amazing grace twenty five years later. Yeah when I walked. We walked into the where they were having this little union union and it was like. Oh my gosh baby grace is eighty and it was like okay. This is really strange. You Know Karen Ghazi like hug me like I can't believe Levi with that big stomach so that is so cool. Yeah I love that and you know so you have that part of your life but the other part that I wanted to talk about though is you ended up getting a brain tumor and You know I can't imagine how much that changes your life to to go through all of that. So how about you share with us the impact that it had on your life when you found out that you had a brain tumor and then walk us through kind of what that looked like and Do you is. Is the tumor completely gone today..
