"Kell dansby here with the old man Andreas hill ending off this week the right way. Talking about pro wrestling, going into WWE backlash in Puerto Rico. I just came back from Puerto Rico, dropped my grandma off and WWE is going there. We're going to talk about everything going on with that card. We're going to talk about the WWE draft, which is now completed, talking about all those shows, spoiler alert. I never liked the draft shows. I always find them super boring. I don't understand the concept of it, but I like the brand split. I think the show's getting there is boring as hell. It's not like the NFL Draft. Super amazing. And I watched that before I left last week and got very drunk. We talked about that here on this show. So two very different drafts for me last weekend. We'll talk about the WWE one. We'll touch on AW what's going on there. Some stuff that is confused me. I watched coming back from Puerto Rico and I was just like, some stuff is weird here. I still think it's a really good product. Just some stuff doesn't make sense to me, we'll see if the old man can help explain it a little bit to me as we go through the show. As I look at a photo of Cody Rhodes, custom jacket for this weekend, putting the Puerto Rican flag on the back of his jacket. I know he's Cuban. I just found that out a couple months ago. He's see what him and Brock deliver. Yeah, we'll talk. Before we get to the card itself, the draft fresh. Man, I don't even want to waste too much time talking about the bills of the dread. One, it's not called what do you want to call it? Not that. Here's why. What's the draft? The draft is a room of team owners. You look at the best players on the board, and they draft the best players on the board. That doesn't happen in this draft. Somewhat. Fantasy football drives get a little weird. They can, but you're feeling positions, right? So you'd be like, oh, I'm dropping wide receiver instead of running back because I feeling in need, they call this a draft, but are the best talents getting drafted? No. Here's my problem with this draft. Right off the bat. And a lot of people already at my neck on Twitter about this. Odyssey Jones getting drafted. From NXT. Now, I think Odyssey Jones was a tremendous talent. Yes. I like his whole crew. Does he come with the crew? No. That was by himself. But they had something. You draft Odyssey Jones. Who's essentially an unproven talent, who hasn't won a championship. And you mean to tell me that that was the best player on the board when Ron breaker and Carmelo Hayes were on the board? No. My problem with, let's call it something else because we're lying if we're saying that we're drafting the best talent to each roster. What we're doing is like, it's more like a shake up. You don't call it a raffle. Did they call that? They did the superstar shake up. But it's not a draft. And I don't like when they show them like, oh, they bring out these people to make decisions. Fuck what the fuck is teddy long doing here? You don't work for nobody? I got a pick, play it like no, I ain't nobody asked for that. But yeah, he's done that. Him, Booker T like, hey, why isn't NXT involved in the draft? Like drafting people down? Yeah. Just out of curiosity. Because if you can draft from NXT, which NXT got fucking gutted. No, they got good. How? They took people who needed to go up. Oh, several. None of indie hartwell. Indy hartwell did not need to go up. She's been there forever. Just won the NXT Women's title. It's poor timing. Then she had to vacate it. She got a broken heart. That's my problem. If you were to draft her without the title, I get it. But she just won the fucking title. He drafted? 5 champions? Yeah, like everybody moved brands. NXT champion. Women's tag. Well, the women's tag champion, Andy hartwell, I said, was the men's tag. I don't care. I think okay, they're still down. Yeah. But NXT, they lost people who were the blue chip class when Vince came and cleared shit out. Right. This is why this draft reeks of Vince McMahon. They drafted a lot of them who never really got NXT time or got very little. But a guy like Grayson Waller, who was in that who's super talented, they brought him up. He makes sense to me. Yeah, 'cause he did some shit. But he showed up with those people. He wasn't an indie darling. He wasn't like, he was one of those blue chip class members. They drafted a bunch of those Odyssey Jones because what he looks like. They drafted a lot of those people. And now they got to go up to the main roster and they got to sing a swim. When they needed more development, but they kept down a lot of the indie style people. I mean, look, their best wrestlers stayed down. They have the opportunity because they haven't signed a ton more like NIL people outside of the women's division, which is still rolling. They're talented there, so roca tore ACL, which sucks. "I wanted to get into this because these these all these women great fucking names wanted to get into this. I know what each one of them can do. Individual an audit told you guys weeks ago was coming around to the team of amber moon shots. He black card thank. They've done pretty well for them for themselves. 'cause this went off for about fifteen minutes change it kind of felt as though in the last five minutes. That's when it kind of seemed like the pace kind of picked up just a little bit. You know you could almost make the argument that you know maybe maybe kinda felt little rushed in some areas but for me my biggest takeaway from If not any of those points that i just made her from earlier also felt that it was just about spot fests. That's what it was. You know ultimately all about so. I i you know sell teach its own but i really couldn't like if i were too great this match particularly out of five stars I would probably say two and a half out of five. That's the best i can do. I had talked about how candice laura cannons. Laurey yet to win a title in. You know the Inex- t all these years that she spent down there. You know yet to win a title was up with that you know.
