Chiefs slog their way past beat-up Rams for 26-10 victory
"Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes opened with a touchdown pass to tight end Travis Kelce and the chiefs went on to beat the Los Angeles Rams 26 to ten. It was the only TD pass mahomes through on the day. We got to be better. I mean, obviously it's a great defense. We have a ton of respect for them. But we moved the ball kind of between the 20s and it seemed like we got down there and goal to go situations we weren't able to score. Mahomes finished with 27 completions on 42 attempts, rams quarterback where ice Perkins filled in for the injured Matt Stafford. He threw for a touchdown pass, but also had two interceptions.
