I can't practice practice for excessive hours like I have to be able to figure this stuff out. Bryson said at the masters. He's also dealing with a minor tear in his left labrum. According to one PGA Tour train, the recovery period for surgery on this bone is ten to 12 weeks, which obviously a couple major championships coming up in the next, well, three majors coming up in the next three months. Could be interesting. I don't know if we have much to add, but just maybe we're just kind of delivering news to people right there. He got hurt in the Saudi golf event. "Yeah, if this is actually happening with even a couple of these guys, because those guys are guys that play on the PGA Tour. So you're going to have to make a decision on whether or not they can play in regular dwarven. That'll be a very interesting decision. Is the most intriguing part of this Saudi league that line that he said a guy who's 350th in the world is going to win $4 million. Is that get you guys perked up at all? Will you guys tune in if some fucking average Joe golfer that's like barely scraping the scrapping together enough events or whatever to have some sort of ranking in the world wins $4 million in a Saudi golf event? I think that's going to get fucking crazy publicity. Yes. I think so. I think that's almost better than blah blah blah. It is way better than having bubba Watson in your league. If they're just going to have a league filled with not the greatest golfers, every bunch of guys who literally have no money. I mean, we read all these stories. These guys drive from event to event, they're basically homeless until they fucking get their tour card, we're going to have an event where all of these guys are going to be flying to these events to win $4 million. This is an insane event then. I'm now interested in it as fucked up as it is and well, that's the line. I mean, that's everybody's lies. There's so much money over there that there's some level of person that's like, you know what? If I can compete in this thing and win a lottery ticket, I'm going to go over there and try to get paid. And so like that, we discussed that when I first came out, I think, is like, what's your number where you guys sell it all? If they pay the foreplay podcast, a $100 million, we're just going over there and we're playing in this band. You know, and it's like, it's a no brainer for us. So that's where it comes down to is like, can they pull these?.

"Shanahan was pretty plain saying so few minutes left with ian rapoport. My colleague from the nfl media group nfl network at rap sheet on twitter and also instagram. Hey when you're chitchatting with everybody across the league what's the chatter about the taunting reemphasise or emphasis right now and why it's happening and how resolute those who are demanding it to happen from ownership coaching staffs or coaching offices. How resolute are they. Moving forward with this got fans or pest. I'll tell you that so players aren't happy. What are you doing on this. It is weird though. 'cause like i've seen a lot of eclipse and i think there's you know people online or definitely mad about this and people online tend to get mad about a lot of things. There's some of those penalties where the receiver gets right in. Someone's face and we see it but we can't hear and then the doors a flag. Everybody loses their minds. But you're like we don't know what he said. I don't know i i would say it's really polarizing. Try that some people. Come to me like what this is. This is bad. The league needs to change this. I don't sense any momentum to change and like there are a surprising number of people to me that don't like taunting and would prefer that did not exist and are trying to get it out. Like i just know from like a like a kid perspective. You know watching one little kid. Taunton other kid in my eight year old soccer game. We pisses me off. No i know. I i'm with you too. It's just it's just the the officiating of it. You're putting the officials in a position of deciding what is taunting and what is just excessive celebration. That might be in the direction of another an opponent and then and then how and then how is it not taunting a team when you're cartwheeling in an end zone you know what i'm saying like but i i think you really hit on the issue there. Is we as people. Who are you know in the league and you know report on the league. We celebrate celebrations. Like there's i think there's a weekly award for soldiers and i love celebration. I think it's one of the best things the league is done in a long time. And then you're kinda like well isn't taunting sort of at and and you're right like that's the only thing is trying to find that fine line. I don't think it's been perfect. But i would say it seems to be more in the category now of like something. That is a big issue. Three or four weeks into the season than we ate. It won't be an issue anymore. Because everyone adapt the officials learn the players learn and becomes kinda like kind of like a same or tom. Brady just got a tweet about it. Because that's what that's what blew up the emphasis on holding a couple years ago. I mean that's literally what happened to the holding penalties. That came out of preseason. Like don't worry it's just the preseason we're just trying to use the preseason for emphasis in the first two and a half to two weeks plus the thursday night game was so bad brady tweeted about it. Poof was gone right and now the the emphasis on taunting was all these flags in the preseason. Don't worry about it by the regular season just and you know i. I am all for ian having removed from the game individual a does something terrific stands over defender. A your barks at said defender like that. We don't need you just don't need. But when guys do something and they go face to face and they start john at each other. It's it's it's just a spillover effect of a very violent game that that is highly emotional and people who play it at the highest level are some of the most emotional people and and you got to figure out where that line is. And in the meantime it's just arbitrary. It's it's like a taking targeting and you know and applying it to celebrating that you're targeting your your defender with your celebration and i feel like it's not working so far and i'm just wondering what you're hearing on that. Yeah i will. I just have not sent any. I have not sense. Any move to change and i really think that the nfl believes that people will adjust and do much less taunting at other players and much less. Celebrate into the ether. And maybe after week four or three or shuttled this maybe. After week four it will sort of adapt to itself. I just i. I see i. I'll say this. I've been surprised. I was reading gogol comments on this. Because he seems to be someone who is a proponent of the anti you know taunting rule There are a surprising number of people who like the way it is who who would prefer that taunton was out of the game. I just. I've been surprised by that part of it saying say that again. You're there are people who like ballot again. That's what i'm hearing that. They're the on the those in membership ownership and head coaches frank reich on the program and he's just like hey i i want to crush everyone just like you know anyone else like i'm a competitive guy but taunting should be out and i tell my guys you know just celebrate in the other direction and this was after his guy got called for toning. Yeah and i've been surprised. How many people take that stance. I just didn't expect that. So that's been that's kind of the other side of you know ian. Thanks the time man really appreciate it. I don't know what are we defining his taunting like getting in someone's face. Yes that's taunt right but remember they used to be a five yard face mask and a fifteen yard facemask. Just like there's a five yard roughing the kicker and a fifteen yard like there needs to be like a separation of an like they should zoom it out like taunting is this wolfing is that right. Wolfing is not a flag right but if you are getting up and yelling at somebody or getting in the face of somebody else but it seems like it's pretty obvious when someone is doing a gesture or screaming literally at someone but if you're just celebrating a first down or even like lamar jackson if you're backflip have been taunting by the way i neither when you look at it and compared to the bucks player who just backpedaled into the end zone on a pick. There's a texans You know quarterback question and brings up to shawn watson. obviously the dolphins were wannabe rimmer teams as well And then you know to as You know i wouldn't say on the firmest ground. I don't think anyone is one hundred percent convinced thousand percent that he's a franchise quarterback been perset comes in for a game or two. It's just it brings up a lot of questions. I would say more questions than answers that focuses things on a trade deadline. Don't you think i mean Especially since this week. proved that there is no scenario In which the texans are going to start to shawn watson this year or ask him or put him in a position to tell his teammates. I am not gonna come to the rescue for you guys right. I mean this week proved it. I mean they just a half an hour. Ago added jeff driscoll to the active roster. Yeah so what more do you need to know. On a short week one hundred percent. And i was even surprised that people thought there was a chance that watson could play because you know for two reasons where it's one. He has been pretty clear that he's not going to play for the texans too. I know this sounds weird. But it makes sense for them for him not to play not risk injury and you know trade him either when there's more certainty as far as you know what the team is like trading or at the end of the year when you know what kind of draft pick. You're getting because it's too bad scenarios happen if you trade them you know right now or you play them one. He could get hurt. That ruins you trade value and also makes him hurt two. You know you'd hate to trade him somewhere then that team all of sudden becomes really good and then you traded for like the twenty seventh overall pick. You know like that doesn't help a lot. New Orleans Saints Have Eight Members of Organization Test Positive for COVID-19
"This saints. Coaching steptoe. What what's the latest. What is it eight members of the saints organization test positive. So what's the protocol. What are they gotta go through through the next few days or weeks. Yes so It is as of right now. Almost exclusively saints coaches not exclusively. Because there's one player. Michael thomas to starve receiver. But he's not an active player. So i'm doesn't necessarily affect them on the field but it is Six assistant coaches a nutritionist. On michael thomas. I believe so. You know it's it's interesting. Because i think last year. If this happened there would be some. I would say panic or certainly some some real worry About what's going to happen to the saints. What does it mean. How's it going to derail their season but every coach on their staff vaccinated most of the players not all the most of the players are vaccinated. "Get news that a deal has been agreed to in principle. Not sign but agreed to between. T. j. watt and the pittsburgh steelers. The higher wasn't gonna make a difference on whether he stayed or went. This is to the point now. Now we've heard from john watson apparently on this request portrayed. You've got to treat now.
