"Us today. Steve dais author a faustian bargain. A great book that i have a lot. I want to pick his brain on. But steve welcome back to the kirk show. It's a pleasure to be back with you. Charlie and again congrats on your success by their happy for thank you thank you very much and you have a new chapter to your vouch. Ian book some would call it a booster shot. Is that right yes. It's called faustian. Ian booster and it just came out Yesterday in fact and the goal is to help equip people to push back on vaccine mandates. We go into a lot of data. We look at this strictly from a medical ethics in a scientific ethical perspective. Because we don't frankly think that the people making these decisions will be moved by constitutionality at all. They do the constitution. Something to a race run over undo so we try to appeal to something more hippocratic more directly judeo christian. We appealed to the nuremberg code. Which came out after world. War two in response to Using humans as test subjects to try to reset. What he you know. Medical and scientific experimental ethics look like and a lot of the data that we use charlie. I thought it was funny. I had some Spirit of the age lefties combat me on twitter this morning wondering if i had quoted a bunch of people that had just been baying on youtube now that that means anything anymore but a lot of these names. I'd never even heard of no. I didn't quote any of them. I actually use almost exclusively. Cdc in who data in this chapter so it's available right now for digital download. It's only a couple of bucks. I'm gonna make like forty cents a copy. This is really just about getting this information to people as many as we can to push back on these vaccine

"You know they're gonna make all three of these guys active on game day right and so now you're going to have to wonder like okay as tastes hill not playing quarterback this week as he playing tight end. And what is ian book. Active mean it does that mean jameis winston starting and he's going to back him up but from a practical standpoint. You know sean. Payton has taken and swung and missed on a lot of mid round quarterbacks during his time in new orleans. So i'm not saying that this one's different by any stretch of the imagination but i will say that There was a sort of a building of Excited scout chatter about book late in the process. Like i think he was a guy that if you talk to people during the senior bowl before the senior bowl he was an undrafted. Seventh rounder And afterwards developed into that fourth round guy. If you're in sean payton offense so much of it is the processing ability which he in book has a little bit less of the talent but that was always drew brees to drew. Brees was not a guy that blew you away with his physical tools in in book can also move a little bit and can run..

"Continue to add to that here with deontay smith i. I like the direction. We're going here with the dolphins. Let's get one more bonus. Pick in here. Pick eighty-one georgia linebacker. Manti rice Somebody who can really really brown a running hit linebacker worked out well at georgia produce and you watch him move around. Plays with a little temple. A little energy as well which i think will be appreciated down there in miami so we look at it after the trade that we made buck and we look at what we've been able to accomplish here with. Devante smith greg russo devante williams payton turner deontay smith monte rice. That is a heck of a hall here to help overhaul this engine with the miami dolphins. Yeah they're closed. They were closed a season ago. I think this brings them closer to get his tournament and make some noise when they do get into it. Yeah and you've got to remember after we made this trade with the broncos here inside the body shop. We collected a first round pick in a third round pick next year so they continue to add to their treasure. Chest of picks. This'll be what the third year in a row. they'll have multiple first round picks if they can pull off a trade like this which to me gets us to the conversation about two. They have an option right now where they are picked number three. Where if they felt like justice fields or trey lance or whoever is a clear and significant upgrade over to that they could very easily take him or they could do this path. Here trade down accumulate more assets to build around him. I i love i. Love are chase book and to me. I couldn't hate it if they picked them at three. But when i look at the golden ticket they're sitting on for somebody's quarterback teams to come up if you're going to build around to. I think it makes more sense to trade out than to stick and pick. Yeah i think so particularly if you look at it. Wide receivers those receivers. The top. Three closely greatest. So you get an a player this baby comparable whichever one you get wide receiver one two or three so the trae back. Get more picks I think we talked about this. Getting an extended warranty only two chances around with more talent. More playmakers see what he looks like in you to and then in twenty twenty two. You can make another decision. If you don't feel like is going well with your young quarterback i don't know about you but we had so many opt out guys. I feel like. I've watched a lot of twenty nine thousand nine tape over the last couple of months and i go back and i'm watching alabama twenty nine thousand nine at the beginning of the year. When was healthy. And i'm kind of reminded like yeah. This guy's pretty good. I don't know why we've we've said already determined. He's a bust. He's got a lot of ability. It didn't have an off season. He's coming off a hip just exercise. A little patience here too. Yeah we should exercise a little faces. Sometimes for the young quarterback it takes a little while the pop and by the way he wanted to gains when he was a starter..

We have got a lot to get to today with what's going on in the run up to the draft. We have got so many exciting topics. And i cannot wait to get started. How you doing man i man. I'm doing great. You talk about exciting topics talking about pro days spinning wheels. We're also going to talk about some of the things that we can do. Help the miami dolphins. I can't wait to start now. We're gonna take the miami dolphins in that body shop. You're going to chance to visit with notre dame quarterback and book looking forward to that conversation. We're also going to up some players. We cannot wait to watching up a-coming pro day so a lot to get to but first let's go to happy valley here. Let's go to penn. State where at the penn state pro day. I guess not a surprise to us but man. Mike parsons jason. Always put on a show. Midshow the to freak shows In terms of their overall explosiveness. Nf lettuce dj. Just think about this. I mean we're talking about two big body defenders. That are running in the reported sub. Four four range toma four threes from both of these dues not only are the impressive athletes. They can run in a straight line but they explosive and powerful jump. And do all these things you have to be excited if you're scout at every valley seen these kinds of performances from these two athletes jason away one more intriguing. Edge rusher mike. Parsons can do everything off the ball on the ball is a linebacker fantastic player which gets me. Let's dig into this little bit here with mike as a football player when we look at the scouting report. I mentioned this to play off the ball. He's he's got tremendous speed range. Versatility talk about the quickness..

"There at lsu talking to lsu coaches said. It was like he's been there five years he just like you pro when he came in their impressive kid. He did a nice job and coverage This week monte rice from georgia. Sorry no k. J brit From auburn one. Who jumped out to me. He was great and tony. Fields to me is just his instincts. He's a little undersized but he can and he's got outstanding instincts he does have. I'll say instincts and those instincts matter and because he's been able to really tell you a ton of tackles in make plays and do those things of the second level I think you feel good about the way the game has changed and unique guys that can fly. We talk about numbers. The numbers players. He's the numbers. The numbers flair. That can make plays as billy also help a little bit in coverage He's a very impressive player corner. Wise thomas. graham had a good week He was impressive. i'm still a big fan of of robinson there aaron robinson. Yeah from ucf. I thought the safety grant from. Ucf did a nice job so those are some of the guys in the secondary that that stood out how about quarterback wise buck and he was their leader in the clubhouse at little up and down outside of i mean there are now but i think mack jones is guy coming into a mcdonalds was. The cream of the crop was really his showcase. And i think it will continue to be. I think the thing that he brings has been the decision making ability and the way that he plays the game being able to throw a ball with touch time again a patient. I think when you stack them up compared to other guys that are in attendance. He's different I can see why there is some fascination intrigue about his game potential. Because i believe you put mack jones on a good team in the fully. I think he can drive the boat and be really really good for all right last thing as we wrap this up here. I'm curious if you had the same biggest takeaway from the week and that was seen our coverage and being able to see the shots in the stands shocked that more of our scouting brethren didn't put on a lot of weight during the quarantine. We're gonna see some larger versions of our friends that we haven't seen in quite some time. But i'm good the look good. I think people have been locked away. They found a way to invest in. Peleton's spin bikes in home gym equipment..

"He is a dominant big play. Play when you put the ball in his hands. The magic happens He's asam drops. But i think the most important trait. I'm looking for down here. Is who has juice. And who doesn't in he has juice and i think that matters because let's be honest. Dj we're coming off of a championship game where we saw the kansas city chiefs. We've seen how their speed and explosiveness change the way that you have to play on both sides of the ball. I think more teams are hunting spe- gas when it comes to it. I think because of that career stone is going to be a guy. That is a hot commodity. Some other wideouts the to clemson kids in my rogers in the slot. he's been outstanding Really been impressed with him just how strong he is. He's been great his teammate. Their cornell powell really smooth strong route runner. Somebody that when you watch them. I tape one of the things. I loved about him. He's a gunner on punt. He's outstanding on special teams. So you get that toughness to go along with that. Josh palmer man. He's been great this week. Just smooth he can run He's been impressive it. It's a good group wide. Receivers s from western michigan. has been good as well. Kate johnson the goal slot from south dakota state again. This this is. This is a sport right now. That's never gonna be short on wide receivers. they're everywhere now they're everywhere a thing because of it I think you can pick and choose where you elect to get those white house We've talked about it once. We have time to kinda little this play out to kind of sit and look at the entire draft glass. I think you will be able to map out a strategy to determine if i'm a team in need of playmakers do i get those guys. Early do is their supply and demand enough wack and get those guys a little later in ear. My my my value picks in the first round somewhere else i think is one of those things. But you're right each and every year. We see an impressive class of pass sketches. And i think this year is no differ any other positions. Jump out to you Standout i mean naturally like what we're all looking for. Who are the edge players. Who are the guys that can come and get sacks in. I think it kinda crystallizes when you look at it down here. The defensive tackles. I mean we've already talked about who who's available like outside of it like you. Just don't see guys that can to pass the most impressive guys that we've seen is we've seen boogie basham bump inside and become an inside pass. I think this year more than ever. We're going to have to be creative in terms of how we identify guys in which guys can play those roles as does interior pass rushes because they may not come from natural defensive tackle. A lot of defensive tackles a bunch of defensive ends they're just trying to kick inside In play inside this week but edge rusher wise That's a solid group. You look at Quincy rochet's at a nice week for miami as heavy hands. He's been impressive Patrick jones done some good things from pitt You see some flashes from some of these other guys et necessarily been as consistent as you as you'd like to see But you do see some flashes..

Josh palmer Kate johnson Patrick jones south dakota first round both sides western michigan this year this week each one one of those Quincy rochet pitt clemson kansas city miami house

"Blew past the guard and tackle. I li like split them in half and i hit the girder back. I think it was gardner. Minshew you. I hate them. He threw the ball. It was obviously be became carbon on the seahawks picked it off scored a touchdown so that felt good and it just felt good to do it in the snow related. That's crazy so This process is all different now. Covert the pandemic is eliminated the common. So all you have is your your pro day in those things. So how do you get ready to show scouts that a man you the top interior defender in the class thing. This the senior is a good upgrade opportunity to do it for sure. Also without i mean. We're just preparing. I'm xs in san diego so just for barron for when on the pro day and got to be on point. Gotta be fast. Got be quick and all that stuff just preparation is what it is will man. We're we're looking forward to watching you not only performance senior bowl but down at your pro day. We certainly would be all eyes on you because you wanna guys who seeing so best of luck to you going for sarah. I appreciate that impressive guy. You know impressive guy really One of the fast any case studies because we didn't get a chance to see him play this last year. I thought you saw some real good flashes. There particularly on tuesday's practice. He's a he's a guy who has dominant potential when you look at his combination of size lithograph. Lettuce says he can be guided as a terror on the inside when you watch him get into office goers either by quickly album new ring them to shoot the gap or by using his length to take him down straight down the middle of pipe. Here's a guy that has a handful and to see what he was able to flash after a year way man you just know that when he gets back into the rhythm in the groove thinks he is going to be a guy that can be a really really disrupt play at the next level. It no doubt. I'm a big fan of his game. when you look at this senior bowl group buck is their position groupers are one takeaway that stands above the rest from this year's class torpedo thing. We talked about it all week. I think the offensive line has been really really good. I mean there's so many guys that we can talk about your your your pick. I'm gonna leave you. Wisconsin whitewater star but look jameson from cincinnati. This stands out to me. Just because of the athleticism. And i think for so long. We've been trying to find guys who are athletic enough to deal with what i call those superheroes coming off the edge. He is athletic enough to be able to do it. His lateral quickness is ability to move the is length his anchor. All those things to me are trending upward. I think with more time and more reps. He's going to be a guy that's not only a solid starter but he's gonna be a high end starter somewhere. I i do think it's a really good group You know a couple of guys. You mentioned quinn minors. They're from wisconsin whitewater. He didn't have a season this year. he's just been working out apparently like a madman because he's been really dominant Both the the one on ones in a team section they guys like allie marquette. Alex kappa obviously both with the bucks of come through this game and small school guys think ryan jensen another one for the bucks. A small school players that have really turned into outstanding prose. not good players outstanding pros and one of the things you have to do when you're plant level..

"To be men who take care of the kids men who they're more responsibilities and do right in the world so there was two parts of those always. It was football and then coach. Pete emphasize being great after football avenue plan for life after football yeah. He's one of the great leaders. Did i've been around in. His a retirement was a bit of surprise. But you're also there with jimmy. Lake and jimmy was d. coordinator. He's now being a head coach. Tim a little bit about jimmy. Like jimmy laying loves any he. He's just energy do got energy smart as l. battles. I mean is a real leader. I love i love coast lake from the jump from when he was our dc when he was just db coach. And then goes oh. It's like you know so. You had a tough choice to make this season in terms of the pandemic kobe. Nineteen you elected to opt out. How do you get better at playing football without playing in the fall you watch a lot of film and you do a lot of on air you know you you go get your bags and you do backward to go get you. Maybe a coach come out and he worked with him. So is this film and just get work and on air trying to keep your body in doing football movements got a chance to put the passback on for a little bit at the senior bowl. You got a chance to get in and wanna ones team. And that's what was that like. How did you feel The rust off being back on the field so good. I felt explosive. I felt like. I felt like i was where i was supposed to be. So felt real good. You know it's funny. It's funny going back. And before you practice on tuesday while watching the tape and being able to watch you move is the thing that everyone covets in the national football league's it into your deficits that could rush the past when you think about your game. What did stress again. Yup and the strength is my get off my hands. They my pass rush. I think that's the three main aspects that i like to focus on three main aspects. Do gooden you know thinking about that. Who are some of the guys that you've pad in your game after that. You look at on sundays. You like man. I i think i can add a little piece of their game tomorrow. The generally watch like jeremy mccoy or chris jones then if i wanna put some some sleet into my toolbox i watch aaron donald and work on work stuff like that. I mean. that's that's not. That's not bad decrease. Jones thing is fascinating to me. Because what is it about. Chris jones that you really like. What is it that you're studying him. yeah for him. August love his hand. Placements allow does pass rush and know kinda starts off with his hands and a shock for gerald mccoy up. It's more of his. Get off and how that helps minutes past rush. So i kind of go back and forth on those guys okay. So we're gonna go all the way back to high school Coming from the dallas area. You played it outta high school with calum. Murray you guys want fifty seven games in row and three state titles What is that like like when you play for one like that..

Dj back with you here and balked fun week here at the recent senior bowl the game coming up on saturday. It's been a unique one. I mean. I didn't think there was any chance to sing. Was going to happen. Probably three or four months ago. So hats off jim nagy and company for forgetting this thing accomplished you know it's been a fantastic opportunity for these guys to be able to come is still show off in front of this house. I mean months ago as recent as a month ago. i didn't. I didn't see how this was going to come off without a hitch. And they've done a fantastic job giving guys an opportunity to get on the field. Lend these coaches see some of the top players in the class and so it has been the last opportunity that we will get a chance to really see these guys do what they do and so without the combine Going according to plan this is it and so there's a lot of stuff that's on the life of these players and so is great to see them get on the field and do whatever they can do. Now it's been great for teams to to get a chance to meet with these guys face to face actually between the plexiglas that they have Down there in the halls in mobile at one of those guys who got a chance to meet with book quarterback at notre dame. Who's really kind of fascinating story. We'll get the evaluation of him in a minute. But i do want to let everybody hear conversation. You had with the in book. Yeah i've heard it's been a lot different obviously with cova these first two days Slow had get cova tested and had accord corn team little bit. Make sure everyone was good. And i've heard that everybody was good. Coaching staff everybody. So that's that's huge at the. You know the receivable could pull that off and Today's gala gala. More busy. We had a little a little shakeout just to get our legs going. you know. Get 'cause we got practice tomorrow and we're going to the playbook so just going to go through that tonight and you know they throw a lot at us on purpose. That's what they want to see. And it's about just diving into the playbook having fun and just competing. Yes in thinking about that like you played a big program. You guys had a lot of stuff in your play but this is your first exposure to an nfl playbook how different has been just in the little part of installation that you've had to experience. Yeah it's been great. I mean it's different. Obviously the nfl. You know it's more complex in every way and The cubans got more command. And i'm excited for that. And that's what you should want as a quarterback and it's gonna be really fun to go out there and You know make some calls. Identify people make some checks and scott there and compete with the best of the best so i. It's definitely different than college. You're not in college. "Bar more That's a lot of human moving around. It's 65, £310 and gray, a 15 yard penalty. You want to get it back right there. It is 15 Yards the other way, Way offensive player and he and bought full media title up down on the turf. So the medical staff of the Irish out there to get to and book You mentioned it whole lot of human fallen on book. We hope the best for him, Holly. Guys. It was a big hit because Christian Bar Mars, he rushed that passer as he took in book down. They were both flat kind of falling to the ground and bar Mars full weight. Landed on Ian Book. You can see him being attended to by two athletic trainers Right now, he has still not gotten up off this turf. Very slow. And I can imagine why Christian bar more is a huge person as you mentioned £310. And when I say it was a square 310 falling right on the slight frame of Ian Book. He is just getting to his feet and walking off. You can hear the crowd applauding. Yeah. Holly looking at the replay here. The ball was squarely in the mid section of in book and so you got Arm or falling on in book with the ball under it, I guarantee it. That's what that's what it is with Ian Book. Just maybe the wind knocked out of him, but he will have to step off the field here for a play. "End the regular season of perfect 10 and No. Two weeks from today, they'll play next in the A C C title game. What do you want? What an amazing career for these seniors perseverance, persistence grove by all players that are seniors and really the entire program and hats off the coach Brian Kelly. Creating the depth that created your fourth straight double digit win season. That's incredible is amazing. We're watching me and book walk off the field. Congratulate some of the players for Syracuse and told us yesterday. Yeah, we don't have the pre game rituals because a cove it for for the normal senior day before, But after the game, all these seniors will have a chance to take pictures with their family and said his entire family is here. Even his older brother. Which meant a lot to him, so he's shaking hands with Syracuse team right now, but he has some family time coming up just like the rest of the seniors here on this field. His older brother, too, was his left tackle in high school and part of the reason why Ian book in high school would have Victory dinners with his offensive line. He called them no sack dinner so he didn't get sacked. He'd have his parents go to Costco and spend 304 $100. It takes to feed an offensive line and then the in books said it started happening regularly. All of a sudden, so they do it 14 15 times, but In books. Family has been there for him in book. Also, a lot of people don't know this. We were supposed to play a game this week this year in Ireland, and he took Irish on screen and Irish folklore classes. Yes, as he was preparing for this season, so In books is showing how much he loves the universe in order Dame but how much everything matters to him and how he wants to soak everything up. And he squeezed every last drop of success of his regular season career and noted a couple of notes that came up this week about Ian Book. He was invited to the Senior Bowl Tremendous for him, also named a finalist for the John United Schoolmarm Award. "And so, like. I think the spots are available at three and four because you know that clumps in Notre Dame have to play each other. And there is the chance of Notre Dame is the better football team than Clemson. I know that coming into the season, we all thought A Dabo and Lawrence and that team one of the great teams in all of college football history. What they put together their Clemson for the last couple years. We're unbeatable. I think Ian Book has improved to the point and Brian Kelly is having a great season for Notre Dame that they can beat Clemson. Even with Trevor Laurence. I think that's possible. And in Ohio State. You know, you cannot predict how covert 19 spreads without within a team, and you can also not predict how others handle their business. And right now, even if Housed a buttons up everything within. They also have to trust those in the big 10 to take care of their business to continue their season. Yeah, yeah, And I think that this is you know, and also having not played. For a week. You know, will they? Will they be susceptible? I think they've been susceptible. I mean, we saw Indiana comeback against them. We saw them had they've played close games. I think if Ohio State is beatable, and if Clemson is beatable it is this year. It is this year, the even Alabama's beatable. I mean, we saw them struggle earlier in the year, you know, the only team that they've that they face that's right. Very high has been Texas A and M came all the way back up after after losing to them, you know, they beat. They beat them pretty well. But a team like Florida A team like more so a team like Ohio State. Should they get to the playoff. It seemed like Clemson. I wouldn't even say Notre Dame but one of those mobile mobile quarterback like Trevor, Laurence, Torch them, you know, like you can have like, like Justin Fields could torch them. A mobile quarterback is usually what they're what they're susceptible to. I'm not really worried about a team like Notre Dame, and I'll probably eat. My words are a team like Cincinnati or something like that. But I think that the committee like you're going to see here's what you're going to see. If anything happens to Ohio State, and if anything happens to their opponents, who is the one team? That was pounding the desk. To make sure that they had a season. This year. It was Ohio State who is the one team whose Ohio State in the brass Well, no, We don't count Scott Cross in the glasses. Who did They just also happen to be read? Um what Scott Frost really wanted this season in the corner of sports team organized the Million Dad march at the Big 10 headquarters when six dads and Croxton ads in Jean shorts and drinking mountain Dews and crocks showed up with their dip. Yeah, I get it to make sure that Ohio State played a season. We're not football. Okay? It was. So if you don't think that Ryan day in that program is gonna be out there, making sure that they play that game against Michigan and if they don't million Dad's marketization ng the committee to get them into that big 10 championship game. It is going to be Ohio State because they think they deserve to be in it just because they're Ohio State, and, you know, guess what? I'm sorry. Your conference decided not to start games until a month ago. Brian in Buffalo Grove, you're on ESPN 1000. What's up, Brian? The boy's great show. I love you guys, and I love the show. Thanks, man. Quick question for the quick comment that I have is that look, I was Notre Dame fan. I have been for years and years and years, and it seems to me that every time I turn around, you got Ohio State before the big 10 even came back to play college football. They were pre rate number three in the nation. I didn't even play a game yet, And it seems like Alabama's a one loss team. The rig number one, which is to me is crazy when Notre Dame is going through the A. C C, which they actually went in. That conference this year and they've been nothing but Dominant for the most part, I mean, yeah, they've had some close games or whatnot, but I mean, they played the whole season and I think that they should be recognized as the number one team going into this and then that should be. Cincinnati and B. Why you should have a seat at the table or try to get up there further instead of having like, okay, automatically. Ohio State's gonna be ranked number three. Yeah, right. Absolutely, Brian. Thank you for the phone call. I mean that. That's where Alabama had doesn't have a loss. Yeah, well, Alabama Notre Dame. I don't think you can argue that those are the two best teams in the country. Right now. And the story and, you know, um College football playoff share. Gary Barda releases statement and ESPN PR has tweeted it out as well. The response to Ohio State the offensive firepower of Ohio State football. All the weapons that they have the win over Indiana. And at the end of the day, the college football playoff committee decided Ohio State is the better team and deserve to be four. But there's a lot of discussion about the number of games played. So like Clearly the committee knows how state is really good. But also they are aware that number five Texas saying them number six Florida Cincinnati at seven. They have all played Morpho ballgames into like Brian's last point, even BYU at 13. They're undefeated, but they've played more games. Well, this is what he said about BYU on the release show Compared the game's BYU was played and compared those two other teams. It's not a strong and some of the other teams ranked ahead of him. I think that's fair. They've played a lot of games against bad opponents. You're going to get a nice January 1st ballgame, BYU, but I think that's where we all have Tol turn our attention. Luke Fickell in Cincinnati, Because if you're pulling for a group of five team that could maybe get into the college football playoff that your team that's the strongest case you're gonna have Now you need chaos.

"Out punning and penance, But our offense was outstanding with long drives when we needed him and you know just Ah, great. Great victory. Hey, Brian. Happy Thanksgiving. Congratulations on 19 0 and enjoy the trip home. We will. Thanks a lot. Appreciate it. All right, Brian, take care, And he brings up a great point about flipping the field. I mean, with all the compliments were passing out. J. Bramblett multiple times. Did the Tar Heels inside their own five yard line. Well, the 61 57 yard punt he had. I believe that was the fourth quarter of about 11 minutes left that was monumental. And also what you heard him talk about is the ability of the offense to continue to play despite having two new players. Offensively on that line. Also with this win, Coach Kelly now is the second most winningest coach in Notre Dame. History. Four games behind Newt Rock, Me and Hey, what do you know? Four games takes you to the national championship. 298 yards of total offense for North Carolina. They had over 700 over 602 games ago. I mean, they have been rolling up. They've been struggling to win because they haven't been stopping teams. They've been scoring almost that will recently and they didn't score in the second half. And what coach talked about with you does passing lanes, even flashing color where you want to throw the football? The quarterback's not gonna throw there even if you have different responsibilities. I also want to say with Ian Book going 22 for 2 22 for 33. You don't have a lot of quarterbacks in college football that ROK going 22 for 22 for 33 with one touch down and letting the team win. There's a there's a character of Ian book that is unmatched in the entire college football landscape. You don't have to build around him. You don't have to get him comfortable in books here to help his team win in every which way and he did it tonight with numbers that won't jump out at you, but are very much the reason why no team won this football game. Scoreboard says Notre Dame has 14 more points. The North Carolina Carolina has one more time out left. No way should send him that letter of Happy Thanksgiving. Here's your gift of your time out back. Wow. We'll be back here to Chapel Hill Butts right now enjoying Notre Dame's 31 17 win over the Tar Heels with Ryan Harrison. "Beat him on Saturday night and Ian Book was given the game ball. Let's Let's Let's make sure the listeners understand who went to Notre Dame exactly that. He's an unbelievable young man. But he's the pride of El Dorado Hills and He took home the big prize Saturday night and then the most unassuming superstar you'll ever meet. Your life is Kevin Sutherland and Kevin won the Schwab Cup Championship Champions Golf. I mean, beating Fred Couples, Ernie Els, Corey Pavin, Tom Lehman. But since Halloween The Dow is up nearly 3000 points and that's 12 days ago. So that gives you a sense of what has happened in November with the election And then, of course, the announcement of the vaccine. But it seems like the market is saying yes, um some tough days ahead of us with the surgeon, hospitalizations and and the economic shutdowns in many parts of the country, including here in California. "I am enthused. I am giddy that they're at 855 to 1 to four, CBS 855 to 1242. 27 about to kick off in south, then Notre Dame. They did not look good. Last week, it took him about three quarters to get it going. Against Duke in their first ever A C C game. Now they're back in familiar territory with a nod conference matchup. I get South Florida today. We'll see if Ian Book in Shake off some of the rust we saw in week one. I thought, Kyron Williams. They're running back, had a huge game. They're looking to replace guys that skill positions with commit the tight end, and Claypool, the wide receiver who were off to the NFL big time. Difference makers for them last year. If they're going to give Clemson a run for their money, which I don't think Notre Dame will, But let's just say for a second they could or they might You know they need They need talent at wide receiver running back in tight end because Ian Book is not the type of quarterback that makes those players better. He's just a steady Eddie game manager type quarterback. And so he needs players around him to make him look better, not the other way around. He's not a force multiplier type quarterback. 855 to 1 to 42 to 7. I wanted what you feel about the Big Ten's decision today at the decision, but the announcement that the schedule is here. They've really got everything set up to go now. October 24th how you feel about waiting another five weeks.
