I'd like to say it's first inning of a long game there's so much opportunity in t. Tv as marketers. Shift their linear tv dollars over Into see tv and having access to that amount of see tv inventory having the opportunity to improve both the public sure the user and advertisers experience in c. tv and help publishers maximize their revenue in yield. Those are the primary reasons why we ultimately acquired publica. Okay great so digging into what what safety means these days you know you. You mentioned sort of the chaos in the world and how that's increased the need for advertisers to really handle on whether ads are running It's very hard to generalize for me to ask you a question like what are advertisers prioritizing right now in terms of safety is it about fraud. Misinformation violence war climate change natural disasters epidemiological disaster. It's like every every brand is different right so And they're gonna they're gonna focus on different things when it comes to ensuring safe environments for their advertising that said what what trend lines can you highlight that that would maybe.

"Ooh! So triax provided competition on price whereas that price show up in the process, so the pricing child's came into the market, and there's a disruptor clearly used a L. D. as an example. And you have to has to be some benefit if we if we came into the market, and and charged the brokers, the same amount to trade on air exchanges the six then it'd be a whole lot more difficult to get any buying. So really the process. Is that you as the investor? Put Your tried on through your broker. And now if that broker can execute a cheaper prices on checks versus the six by the same shares by the same, HP real all the same shares that you buying on the ISU issue buying on giants, but you by the Baroque himself paying a lower fee and barlow. Face to those brokers have been as much as seventy eighty percent lower than the I six. That's partly because the has had a monopoly business for one hundred and fifty odd years, and so there was no pricing tension. And so we've introduced that by the way the responded and said okay sharks is dropped their face. We better drop phase as well and ultimately then the brokers. If you think about what brokers charge these days, you can try through COMSEC or these other online cats for. For for not law for really cheap commission fees. If you go back to twenty years ago? When there was no competition in exchange services, two to three percent was a normal commission, right? I was charging as a young brokaw radar clients two percent back in the eighties and nineties. So that's you know, think about that, and with a minimum order cost of one hundred or one hundred and fifty dollars, so if you were buying five hundred dollars worth of shares, you're paying one hundred dollars in commissions you paying twenty percent allies drive away. That world has changed, and that's really been facilitated by the competition in exchanges between two thousand eleven charges coming into the market today..

Heavenly Sources Confirm Jesus Christ Will Transfer To Iowa State University After Getting Grades Up

"Journalistic enterprises like the ones. You just heard after this message from our sponsors who may or may not actually have something useful to settle you. There's only one way to find out our top story. Today comes from the heavens as a lesion authorities are reporting that Jesus Christ will be transferring to Iowa State University in the fall after getting his grades up. The once academically troubled son of God seems to have finally been able to rehabilitate his image and get his schoolwork up to snuff over the last year at Western Iowa Tech Community College. And he's now ready to move onto the next chapter of his education. We're joined by. Opr's afterlife correspondent thaddeus Lawson to unpack the big news. Hi Leslie good to be here that is. This has been a long journey full of ups and downs for the son of God trying to make the grades and to be Frank. Fixing some behavioral problems. So he could get into a state or private school right after graduating. Saint Peter's high school with a dismal one point three grade point average. A lackluster five eighty. Sat score and a disorderly conduct arrest drunkenly urinating on the streets of gold by his house. He couldn't get accepted into any of his preferred universities. That's what his father started. Pressuring him to enroll in community college to get back on track. That wasn't a quick fix. His father was hoping for either correct. I mean he failed the winter semester at tech last year because he blew off his business administration final to play call of duty right and then he started this spring semester. This year getting kicked out of his welding class when he welded several pipes into a satanic pentagram not to mention his outright refusal to stand his dyslexia medication. So most didn't think you'd get to this point so that was the catalyst well my sources. Tell me that the son of God did a lot of small things like making sure to always sit in the front row and show up to class with a pencil but the real wakeup call for him came in February when his best. Buddy nate overdosed on method an epic. Kager our Lord and Savior through. Yeah after he found nate lifeless in a ditch by the house Christ shared with six other roommates. He told those closest to him that he needed to sober up and stop wasting away life. The Lord finally sobering up is definitely a step in the right direction. A what was his final. Gpa and greats like for this semester although we got to ds and biology and computer science he did manage to get an a minus a nutrition and B. Minus in the history of rock and roll which pulled his GPA up to a two point eight. That's plenty good for Iowa state and what's The reaction from the Heavens God Almighty and all his heavenly hosts are simply ecstatic. They're all just happy. That Jesus Christ and his father are taking an early to Iowa state to purchase some. Isu Swag the bookstore. Instead of burying the son of God with a needle coming out of his arm I can't help but ask and no offense to Iowa state but why them and not more storied private school. I mean this is the son of God. We're talking about wouldn't have brown taken him as a legacy student now. It's my understanding that Jesus wanted to create his own path and had zero interest in following his father's footsteps by going to Brown plus he liked the reasonable out of state tuition Iowa state and their study abroad option in Australia and as an aspiring radio. Dj He was impressed with Iowa State's communications program and ability to get involved early in the department student. Run radio station. Well of Christ is out there. Listening

"Goodell said it was a very heartfelt apology. And that's what led to him reinstating Myles Garrett immediately. I Dunno by you guys. Six Games sure does not feel like enough for assaulting a man on national television. The whole point of these suspensions so that no one ever does this again in the future and I don't know if anybody will but if it happens it everyone is going to point to the fact that Roger Goodell was too lenient with myles Garrett here there's also a little bit of a developing story this coming from Jake Trotter of ESPN. He saying that. Myles Garrett is indeed doubling down on the story that Mason Rudolph might used a racial slur before the fight broke out. I don't know what to make of that but it does make this more complicated. Obviously we gotta take every accusation seriously and tried to hear it all the way through the end but no one is corroborating myles. Garrett story other than himself. I actually made a point yesterday on the radio that had it and brought it up since initially talking about it just a few days after the incident but then Lo and behold the story broke immediately after we got off the air that he is indeed still climbing. That's what happened. This is a sticky situation. But what we can all agree is that nobody was in the right here in. Everyone deserves some more punishment I think. Mason Rudolph should have missed some time as well but miles gary getting only six games truly truly another massive mistake from the NFL for an office but then again. What do we expect at this point? The Oklahoma sooners beat the IOWA STATE CYCLONES. Two nights ago ninety two sixty one. This was like drumming of the cyclones on the Norman home floor. Oh you now. Sixteen and eight on the season it all feels certain. I made all these jokes about them. Not being able to make it to march madness that seems to be in the rear view mirror at this point after the West Virginia Win and now this massive win over Iowa state. I was state not a good basketball team. This season. Three and eight and conference plates ten and fourteen overall this year there lubbock Christian little. Who's recently caught a hot streak? Two Games in a row for doolittle twenty points and six rebounds three assists Brady Mad at continues. His solid play with eighteen and five overall a great win for long. Krueger in those guys down there. Norman things seem to be going in the right direction for. Oh you after an up and down season finally leveling out like I mentioned two game win streak now they face off against the Kansas Jayhawks tomorrow morning at eleven. Am on a Saturday. That will be a big time game in Lawrence Kansas. If oh you can find a way to either win that one or the Baylor one. Oh you would be as red hot just about anyone in the big twelve if they can find that victory James Winston got lasix surgery. The team announced from Tampa Bay just a few days ago. So Jameis Winston who through thirty touchdowns passed. You're in thirty interceptions. The first quarterback to ever throw thirty picks in one regular season. He admitted that he refused to wear his contacts during games. I'm just going to let that sink in a quarterback who relies on his is who clearly needs corrective lenses so much so that you qualify for lacy not everyone can get lake. Your vision has to be so poor that you qualify there is a threshold. So he qualified for. Lasik it during games the time when your eyes are the most important. They're probably going to be on a day by day basis. He refused to wear context. I need Jameis Winston to play Tilles fifty the Houston. Astros are making news again yet again. Not for cheating but for talking about cheating ownership from the Astros came out this afternoon and said they'd quote didn't feel like the cheating affected the outcome of the game in that there is they were ward world series. Champions either way sure I mean I guess. If you don't get the title stripped you can say whatever you want. But he did admit it was cheating then he said it didn't affect the outcome than I do at that point. Is that really cheating if it doesn't affect the outcome but the madness did not in there for the Astros so mealy following that statement and I when I say immediate. I mean immediately following that statement. He was asked a question. Said Sir you saying that you cheating did not affect the outcome. His next quote was I never said that. He said we did cheat. But we don't feel like it affected the outcome sir. Did you say you think cheating doesn't affect the outcome? I never said that that is all time. Twenty twenty spent. We've seen some people try to spend narrative a whole lot of different directions as time goes on and we get closer to two thousand twenty five or twenty twenty thirty. I don't know what people are going to be saying by that point because you can just say whatever you want on television and people are just supposed to believe you in every single facet of life but this is this is the most egregious thing I've ever seen in my entire life to say one thing be asked a follow up immediately within forty set less than forty six it was forty two seconds within forty two seconds contradict yourself that is astounding work by the Houston Astros and people wonder why people my age don't give a rat's ass about baseball Oklahoma state announce that they're gonNA be playing Nebraska soon in the sorry not soon in twenty thirty four twenty thirty five. Oklahoma state will be playing against Nebraska cornhuskers. Everyone excited about that. Wake me up in the year. Twenty thirty two so. I don't forget happy. Valentine's Day again from the big story. It's February fourteenth. Make sure You buy flowers candy and all those things for your loved one. Do not forget men. Today is indeed Valentine's Day the Oklahoma City Thunder got a win last night over the New Orleans. Pelicans this is the final game heading into the all star break now the Oklahoma City Thunder thirty three and twenty two. They actually have pretty impressive. Sixteen and ten record on the road. This season New Orleans at twenty three and thirty two. Do not get lost in the story of this game. New Orleans. Yes well below. Five hundred coming in hot on a three Game Win Streak Zion Williamson seem to be helping. Elevate the New Orleans Pelicans into a playoff contender with outside hopes of making the postseason this year but the thunder got massive victory. Now there were some points that I felt a little proven right. I said coming into the game that if I was going to build a player the thunder are not meant to guard. It was absolutely that came to fruition. He had thirty two points last night in the loss for the pelicans eleven nine hundred for the floor. I assume most under fans got the joy of watching Zion Williamson. This guy is truly must see television. He was a ton of fun. But you have to give it up to the thunder as a whole is e. Danila gown are putting twenty nine points of twelve twelve eighteen shooting. He was electric and it's incredibly efficient from the floor. But Chris Paul yet again. Fourteen points twelve assists if you just look at the box score. His impact is not felt. He's only five or twelve from the field but man did it make a huge difference when he was out there as the leading man for this thunder team use a plus eighteen single game box score plus minus what you always have to take with the giant massive huge grain of salt but he was nearly double every other starter in the starting lineup. Tonight he was awesome all the bench players thunder. I felt really struggled. Maximum Scala though was one hundred percent of the floor. He was the lone bright spot. Four four to two even three point line with ten points dish ruder. Seven to sixteen with twenty two points. He was one of four from three point line. Dennis continues his good play again outside of that. Abdul Nacer Turns Ferguson Nerlens Noel. Rough night's from all those cast of characters Oklahoma City shot fifty percent from the floor as well forty eight percent for the three point. Line that three point shot really a large part of why Oklahoma City was able to come away. Victory they also shot eighty two percent from three one a small story that I just personally love and find fascinating if you recall last year. Oklahoma City as a team mostly led by Russell. Westbrook really struggled from the free throw stripe man is. It makes a huge difference whenever it's in the closing moments of a game and you have no fear about any of your guards. Making free throws down the stretch. I'm confident and Shea. I'm confident that Chris. Paul I'm confident. Danilo I'm confident didn't Schreuder the only guy who might be out there in the closing moments who. I'd be skeptical of his Stephen Adams who would have won tonight from the free throw line but may what a giant difference from this time last year to now the biggest story again taking from this game is that Oklahoma City only had seven turnovers seven such a small miniscule number Chris Paul who obviously dominates the ball only had one shea had zero tonight. It's a great game from him as well as far as that standpoint goes to seventeen points but they forced the pelicans induce seventeen turnovers. When you win the turnover battle by ten and you shoot. Eighty two percent from the free throw line is going to be hard pressed to find a way to lose this game so good for Oklahoma City. They closed down style. Obviously a monster. Second quarter where they outscored the Pelicans by nine points and that really helped contribute to Oklahoma City coming away with the win a positive affirmation win here because they'd been really playing poorly heading into this all star break up until this one so all under fans out there can take a deep breath and a sigh of relief. And I know that they're going to all star break on a on a happy note here Lincoln. Riley held a press conference two days ago. And if you're wondering why it's just not making the podcast. Because yesterday I did not get one published. I apologize every so often. I'M GONNA miss. I do my best. I have a few more responsibilities now that cut into that a little bit so I apologize when I do miss but obviously yesterday was one of those so regardless I will now recap the Lincoln Riley press conference a lot of what you would expect from the assistant coaches obvious DEMARCO. Murray though was impressive there was some question marks coming into it. You know former. Nfl player former great player. You're always a little curious of what their motivations are coming in to be a football coach. Demarco Murray said that he's wanted to coach since he could remember and he's excited about the opportunity and he pursued Oklahoma maybe a little bit more than Oklahoma pursued. Him initially So you should be excited if you're sooners fan. That DEMARCO is back in Norman but the big takeaways were everything that Lincoln Riley said Few key notes here is obviously. There was a lot of defensive. Transfers over the course of this summer period and Lincoln said. He was not shocked by that at all. He gave few differ reasons and they're probably all valid. A lot of those players were recruited by different coaching staff. That was running a different scheme. the so that might contribute to some of the need of those players moving. Also Lincoln said that we've been recruiting better on that side of the ball so we have a lot of young talent taking time away from people who maybe were expecting snaps and then he said there's also other things that could lead to a kid transferring. That don't involve anything about football. All that very well may drew but he did not seem worried about it. The only thing that I would say that caught Lincoln a little bit. You could tell. Rub Him the wrong way. Is that going into this signing period. Oh you had thirty available scholarships you can only sign twenty five in one given period so it doesn't matter if you have seventy available scholarships no football program ever would. But if you had seventy available scholarships you could still only sign twenty-five. That is a little bit of something that the NCAA needs to look into now. They've added the transfer portal as a factor in college football. So you could tell. Lincoln was a little bothered by that that he was gonna five scholarships that he was not gonna be able to use for this signing period. But neither here nor there overall on that side of the ball. Nothing really shocking. The transfer news now Lincoln was talking about his incoming recruiting class and he actually linked it to the twenty fifteen class on the offensive side of the ball. He said he can feel like the perception of Oklahoma is changing now on that side of the football similar in two thousand fifteen when it felt like the offense was changing on that side of the football. And he said you know in two thousand fifteen all of a sudden we recruit a guy like CD lamb cuyler Murray Markey's brown and those guys used to not consider Oklahoma. But now we're coming to Norman. He said that's what this class feels. Like on the defensive side of the ball. I'm going to let that set in. He just compared this recruiting class on the defensive side of the ball to the likes of Kylie Murray. Cd Lamb and Markey's Brown. I if Lincoln obviously isn't saying any of those guys are going to be as impactful or as good of NFL prospects as those three words but my goodness talk about putting these kids behind the eight ball from the jump. I I'm sure if Lincoln had the opportunity to re describe how excited he is about this class he may do so in a different way. He's usually a pretty reserved guy when it comes to these press conferences but that was pretty clear that he was very very excited about where. Oklahoma was going in. The recruiting ranks on the defensive side and by and large at all goes to Alex Greenwich. And he's hoping that this thing will finally get turned around in the right direction. He feels like they're finally getting in the doors of players who used to not be available to Oklahoma in years past so that seems to be all going the right direction. Lincoln also addressed the fact that there was obviously a handful of players are suspended going into the bowl game and he would not address that he said we update you at a later time. I tried to follow up with a couple of people I know close to the program. What exactly timeline. That means. Not Not details of okay. So does that mean. They're going to miss week one. They're going to miss week to just. When are we going to get clarity on what that suspension is going to be and by and large people close the programmers shocked that they're not just addressing this head on there isn't a lot of wiggle room left? This seems to be a pretty clear suspension that involves marijuana which is a mandated. Six Games so by that logic the players who were involved would have to miss five games is seems to be an up open and shut case. All the appeals have been filed but Lincoln Riley again playing the cards close to the chest and refusing to give an inch when it comes to details about his program. So we're left in the dark there as well now again. Some other news that I just personally found interesting. I don't know if anybody else is really going to care about this. But Obviously Chandler. Morris was the sole quarterback coming into this class. He was a three star prospect. He was ranked eighteenth at his position by rivals. Dot Com jailer. Moore's obviously he's his dad was the head coach at Arkansas and he was like. Oh this summer. So that opened the door for Chandler to be able to make his way down to Norman or up to Norman since he's from Dallas and that's all well and good but Lincoln Riley actually said he had him as the number one quarterback in this class and that was the only quarterback he felt comfortable offering in this class. That's high praise for Chandler. More is obviously this is going to be spent a rattler show for at least the foreseeable future but taking everything that Lincoln said you know you? Never WanNA assume a five star guy is gonNa work out especially at the quarterback position man. I can make you a laundry list of guys who have not worked out as a five star quarterback who everyone assumed was going to be a superstar and I have his high hopes for Spencer. Rattlers anybody but Lincoln's pretty confident that he might have an incredible backup. Plan or someone to fill and Spencer rattlers shoes and Chandler Morris up the road so another person to monitor the first player. Outta Lincoln's mouth though heading into the press conference almost thirty seconds after a beginning. Was Reggie Grimes. The defense event from Brentwood Tennessee the four star product. He's writing eight his position and one twenty three overall i. I don't know a whole lot about Reggie. Grimes other than the fact that people tell me. He's very good but Lincoln you could tell was a big fan of what grimes could bring to his team. He also mentioned. Grimes played running back in high school. He six five at two forty. That's hard to imagine. That's a huge running back in high school but whatever. The kids obviously a freak athlete. This'll be the one player on the defensive side of the ball. If I was fan I would say we might see him. Play some halfway meaningful snaps next year. I don't think he's going to be a full time starter. I don't think he's competing for a position but on third and sixteen for trying to get the speed on the field. It wouldn't shock. Me Of grimes is a part of that package for next year myles. Garrett got reinstated a couple of days ago in the NFL. He obviously is known for swinging a helmet at a helmet. Lewis Mason Rudolph. He missed the final six games of the year. After being suspended indefinitely from the Commissioner Roger Goodell he met with Goodell earlier this week and the two apparently had a very pleasant conversation..

Adults are the only ones who fell for the Momo hoax

"Invited. Taylor ends from the Atlantic magazine to come into our offices and watch this video with me. Yeah. I saw this before. Mall gonna kill you. So what happens in this video to physically? There's this little girl. She's really cute. She's swaying back and forth. And she's singing this song. Like mama's gonna kill you. If you see hill in the hallway see will kill you, mama. Momon isu- kill you. That's it. This little girl. She looks like she's in a school uniform. She's clutching a stuffed animal, I think it's a great FOX with the big pink bow on it. This is my six year old almost seven year old daughter. That knows all the words to the song because she has seen it on YouTube. And then the mom kind of filming pulls away, and is basically like this is the warning to all parents, tell your children not to listen. That's right. We know that Momo can't hurt you. Right. That's right. I mean, when I even as I cannot help it role is at this point. I have all these crazy messages from parents this week telling me like Nomo is real she actually hacked my child's Facebook page, and it's like, no, she there's that's not even a thing over the last few months Momo has become a kind of internet boogeyman a creepy face spliced into YouTube videos for kids with bulging eyes, a stretched out smile. Pictured a little girl from the ring with exaggerated features parents in some of these videos, avoid dares kids to harm themselves or harm others. They call it the Momo challenge I've seen these types of videos for over a year since it first went viral over a year and a half ago about you publish an article basically saying MoMA was a hoax. Yeah. Well, it's I mean, it's an urban legend might be a better word for it. It's not real. It's like slender man or something. Tillers Momo's hoax because there isn't any evidence that kids are actually following Momo's instructions just a lot of freaked out. Parents it's crazy. How many people just flat out will not leave it or they not believe that. It's a whole not believe that it's a hoax and not believe that. There aren't you know, hundreds of children committing suicide over this like there's just no way to tell them that it's not real. And they'll say like I have sources inside Google. And I'm like, I actually do have sources I I actually talked to YouTube on regular races. It's my entire beat. And I'm telling you, this isn't real. And by the way, here's the Genesis of it, and they don't wanna hear it. But even though the Momo challenge isn't real Taylor says the fear that animates it that is, you know, it's sort of like it's ten pm where your children, you know, what I mean? But it's like, it's mpm. Like, do you know, what your children are watching on YouTube? It's actually like this evil creature. That's trying to get them to. Commit suicide just a stranger dangerous stranger danger. Exactly. And I think it also kind of explains parents fear of these platforms, which actually aren't affair is in very real tangible ways.

"It was late. They didn't touch on it. I don't believe. Now. And the game was minus two. The games minus do so the game switched hands there with that shot with really shouldn't have counted honest. Be honest. Did you lose I didn't lose? I know. This is something I normally would lose see I gotta get. I got I got I got a situation here. Okay. Where now this would also cover it. I got my my thing. Here says Iowa State was three and a half. But that's still would cover the spread also. Yeah. Yeah. I still would have been a loss from a win. So I got three and a half on my line on the on the game box. It says ISU minus three five. I'd have to see the play. I mean, I'd have to see if it's blatant. And I'd like to see what the officials reaction is. Of course, the official has to as, you know, tell the scores table baskets, good. Yeah. They did. But they didn't look at it. And it's something that I'm thinking with with gambling right now. I mean that can be a big issue. And I thought you were going to bring up the Super Bowl issue. Did you hear this one about Gladys Knight? They put a number on the Mars. I bet you can dig up a scoring on this. They put a number on this on the national anthem. And Gladys Knight. Said grave twice. And the home of the brave, and then she said, and she reiterated brave again. It's the first brave and there was one time. It was the under the second brave. It was the over. So there was a dispute about which brave counted because they ran the planes evidently off the I believe, and then she is a brave that was I guess a little. Theatrical for the end a second brave. And there was a dispute about it. I saw the story yesterday. I forgot to bring it up. I don't know if you have a story that it, but they said there was a dispute about the lane, and which should the brave of counted the second brave so that was one too. So it just shows you the goofy things that you can be involved in here. You know? Oh, I think it's crazy to have bets on stuff that can be manipulated like the length of a song. I think that's very dangerous. But they wouldn't let anybody make a big bet on it any way that those kind of bets have limits on it. Anyway, people will realize those bets have usually thousand dollar limits on them. Nobody can go up and say I'm going to bet a million dollars on the on whether or not the. We're so quick to race out there and condemn these kids, and then when the truth came out, and there was a different story that they never pulled back on it at all all these incidents than I have discussed in detail than I have mentioned, Duke lacrosse UVA. "Links about growing the crops in the end, the problem with excess oxygen that can impact can be very very toxic. And that there aren't really any tested system for removing excess oxygen in space. Let alone on Mars, although Mars, one group says that these are all systems that are already working either on earth or on the space station. How do you get rid of that set FOX agenda, and why is that a problem? Thank you for the question. So it is true that we need the oxygen removal system in. If we follow what Mars one Provo is actually proposing. So the technology of oxygen removal is used in on the ground in hospital. The Mars one. Muslim groups suggest. However, the technology that it's used on the ground is very different from what you are using space because of the environmental issues, and also, you know, gravity level is different and the radiation and so on so developing a technology for space rated requests, very high reliability, and and even different performance. In some cases. When the Muslim claims that they can do this mission using the existing technology. Winter we interpret that existing technology technologies that can be used for space right now if with that interpretation, the oxygen removal system is not a similar thing can be said about I saw you in today's. Well, because there have been no technology demonstration mission so far by you. So in terms of is how you and oxygen removal system and some other system that we identify in the paper, we need further technology development to actually make that happen. So the segment but most one made about the no. Thing technology can serve the purpose is not correct. I find that the most significant detail here because what you took was the Mars one mission and said, all right. What what can we say about the viability of this that the technology does not is not already extant all your paper identifies? What needs to be developed, especially what Cokie just referenced about the institute rece- resource utilization. What does that mean Olivia in situ resource utilization? And give an example of what we need to discover before we can do it. No, that's that's a great point. And the before I answer for ISU specifically, I just wanna make the point that, you know, we we are. We are our goal was not to to basically show that Mars one is impossible Mars. Call innovation can't be done with very supportive of it. I think we're all excited about those prospects. But we think it needs to be done based on on very sound models and sound science. And specifically I answer you technology is an area that NASA and other organizations have invested in. But but more needs to be done MIT was recently selected as the provider for the moxie experiment, which will find the March twenty twenty mission to to demonstrate essentially extracting gases from the from the Senate atmosphere of Mars, and that's quite challenging to do. And general is are you is a class of technologies that harvest's local resources weather from. Soil or the local atmosphere, and again, it's quite different from for the moon, and for Mars, but on Mars, we think that we can harvest, you know, the majority of the atmosphere on on on Mars is, of course, CO two, but you can you can take in that CO two and you can separate you can separate the oxygen? You can also extract potentially minerals from from the soil and each of these technologies requires thermodynamics a lot of chemistry and a cascades of chemical reactions that are more or less. Well, understood the real issues are scale ability and a lot of the experiments that have been done on Hawaii that were mentioned previously show that it can be done in principle, but after several batches filters get clogged and the productivity of an ICU system drops dramatically. Just a minute are festival when we come back. We'll continue with David Livingston, Dr space and the MIT campus team of an independent assessment of the technical feasability of Mars one mission plan in this century. I'm John Batchelor. This is the John Batchelor People.

"The surface does have some challenges that we didn't address directly in our favor, such as for example radiation. If you're sitting on the surface, exposed the radiation levels are significantly different than on earth. Although Mars one in some of the images, they they showed burying of the habitats underneath Martian soil, which would help someone with that of other other effects such as dust storms that you'd have to watch out for. So there are some other mission architecture is not the Mars one architecture that have been proposed where you would either bury your entire system underground golden gopher tunnels underneath the ground or perhaps tunnel into the side of hills. But for for our simulation. We took what we had from the Mars one website and looked at these systems of dragging capsules lined up with the inflatable habitats attached to them behind them there and buried underneath Martian soil. David. Cokie, I'll ask you this your paper talks at length about growing the crops and the and the problem with excess oxygen that can impact can be very very toxic. And that there aren't really any tested systems for removing excess oxygen in space. Let alone on Mars, although Mars, one group says that these are all systems that are already working either on earth or on the space station.
