"But that's a whole different thing. Of course, Ray Charles, his family used to say, hey, look, ray, easy on the beans, bro you're gonna go blind. I'm skeptical. I don't think I just think that that's if this guy's a TikTok star that makes me a little bit, I don't know. A lot of people in TikTok these days. Well, doesn't mean that they're information is correct. It doesn't mean that it's incorrect. Theoretically it probably is possible. It's also theoretically possible for me to walk through that wall. If I bump against it enough times. I don't think so. See, yes, there is a theory in theory. Yeah, so okay, well, that's my point. Again, what if you could fart and then you could walk through the wall, like it breaks something in the chemistry of the wall, your fart is so powerful, then you can pass it. That would really be something. That would be. There's a superhero that marvel needs. Fartman? Yeah. The methane man. What else you got, Christie? Well, coming up, we have El Chapo in the news. We have a wood Sprite or an elf being seen by the Mexican president. For real? Yeah, and then this is like a scary photograph thing where there's this elephant a tree. What was the new stuff we just tried? Starry. Sorry. But we'll get back to sprites and there's a different word that is used for this particular type of elf. In my history. Yes, it's a my own tradition. Also, coming up, we have naked stuff in the news, including a naked dude and some music from mister pat Godwin. And we have apparently a new intro for ace first. I'm very excited for the east Cosby. We'll do that next. Coming up comedians Greg born in Reno Collier as well. This is the bob and Tom show. Thanks for listening to the bob and Tom show this morning. The show is also out there for you on our YouTube channel. Watch and subscribe. On the website hey, welcome back to the bob and Tom show, Christie Lee at the news desk. Hello. There's pat Godwin. Hey chick in the performance room. There's Josh Arnold either. Hey, there's a Cosby. There's Willie griswold. Good morning. I'm chick G and here's Tom, griswold. I got an email for you, Tom. Before we get to that, I wanted to pick up on this unusual story that Christie had about the doctor who on TikTok claimed what is it again now? Well, that it is possible very rare, but you can fart yourself blind. What is it? There's something in the yeah, the hydrogen sulfide apparently reduces your blood pressure to the central retinal artery and it can theoretically make you go by not forever, just for a few minutes. Skeptical. And also someone emailed us about science apparently that second eyes in hell, I guess. Oh, it's IFL, but we couldn't tell because of the font. Yeah. Okay. But it stands for I think love science. Oh, that's cool, yeah. That makes sense. All right, dear mama Tom. I was in a closed car in the winter with my uncle chuck. He cut one so bad I was blind for three days. We do have some audio if you'd like to hear it here and here it is. Okay, there are thank you very much. Ready? Okay. Oh,

And it runs over 97.5% of our body our actions and what we do every day. So what is it that appeals to people when we talk about minds stuff? Thoughts

"Always putting my hand out to say we don't need the fun farm coming along. Too late now, my friend. Fun farmers here. It's in the house. And so big show today and then suddenly this morning on our show group chat. Jack puts this mesh as their Patsy amongst me on the core producers. Guys, so sorry, running a bit late. I should not have fed with those wasps. There's 5 of them in the house right now, and I've been trying to make sure there's none left. This is what? This is a quarter to 6 when we arranged to meet before the show to walk through the wedding. Yeah, there's a wasp nest in the chimney. You know how do you Bianca got stung? They're really bad at the moment. That's what they are. Can't believe I didn't spot it sooner. When it's like a highway of wasps when you walk outside now, coming in and out of the chimney. So why don't you call someone to deal with it? Because you're nesting. Yeah, but only yesterday. So then after dark, I put the stuff you just go and get it from bunning to take a powder and you meant to what with your baby and wife is that you stop, that's the type of thing. Right? And then goes to sleep. I feel the knee. I love the smell of sleep in the morning. You're meant to wait till after dark, so they're not active, or else you spray their strike at night. That's right. Yes. Anyway, they've had a revenge on you. Well, now so I obviously did a good job on the outside of the chimney. I think they're coming in through the inside. And the chimney. And they're in the living room. Watch your tea. They watch your Fox Sports. Actually, evacuating now, they're going to mom and dad. So much drama. Talk about drama, Rio is in position. Can you see the bridal car with a bride on board? Christian. No. Can't see it, not here. There's an Uber driver with an Uber eats package. I don't know if anyone ordered some Uber eats, but there's no limo. Just 7 8. Was that what would be difficult catering in here? We didn't get a food truck. We're bringing red rooster here for the cockroach. So what you can't see this sort of big limo. I've had a little look around the corner. There's normal cars. There's no carriages whatsoever. What are people waiting for? Stop walking down the street. I'm walking up down on Goodwood. I've headed down towards lenox street. I poked my head around. There's no carriage there. This is the route that they're actually going to come up by the way. Because what if they go via church or I can't go all the way up to church, it's hot. Why didn't you speak to producer Kelly who was in the car to work out where she is? You just wondering where everyone looks, like a lost pet pal from France. When the tears I will see it, I'm sure. It's rare you see footy being talked about on big Saturday night and during the week chat shows in America. This week, Jimmy Kimmel, who's been right, Jimmy Kimmel does a great late night show in America. Kate blanchet was on there, will blanch it wherever you sit. Various people depending on pretentious they are, say, either blanchet or blanche. She was on talking about footy and her uncle Jimmy, who used to play for the bombers. You're a bombers fan, right? Did you know? I don't remember Jimmy but having looked it up. He played in the 50s, so a little bit before my time. I mean, the bombers need some good PR. I'd be doubling down on that. I'd be contacting Cate Blanchett today. Where I come from, we have a football that's we call it football. It's Aussie rules. And they basically, it's just they have a similar kind of ball, except they don't have the protection. They don't even have sleeves, right? Yeah, they were shorts and yeah, little tank tops. And my uncle used to play professionally for S&M. Oh, he did. Wow. Yeah. Amazing. Our uncle Jimmy, used to play for the bombers, who knew. And then the other thing she wanted to talk about is the state of the oval in Tasmania. Now, I've been to Tasmania, but obviously I've only been in this country 5 years in exploring all the different places. I didn't know. Did any of you guys know? They play on gravel. What? Chord two, Cate Blanchett. My cousin played in Tasmania where they it's so hardcore that they play on gravel. Is that true? Yeah. I mean, the super bowl is like, you know, they take a few hits, but you go to Tasmania, and they play real fun. Yeah. That's not kidding around at all. Yeah, I know. So have you heard about this? It's so unbelievable. Tasmania is the greatest state in the lush with vegetation. Why would they choose to rip up the lushness? Guys, should we just play on the grass? Yeah, and purchase bedrock down and play on that. Does anyone know anything about this? And if you've got a famous uncle like uncle Jimmy. Cape blanche's uncle that used to play for the bombers. I want to hear about your famous uncle today. But Christian O'Connell show podcast. So late night chat show this week in America, Jimmy Kimmel had the actress on Cate Blanchett Walsh and she was talking about her uncle Jimmy. I don't think anyone knew about this. Euro bombers fan. He used to play for the bombers back in the days when it was in VFL. And she was also talking about how in Tasmania, they're really tough. My cousin played in Tasmania where they it's so hardcore that they play on gravel. Is that true? Yeah. I mean, the Super Bowl is like, you know, they take a few hits, but you go to Tasmania, and they play real fun gravel. So we want to know, does anyone know anything about this in a country that's beautiful and lush? Why would they choose? We call BS and it sounds like the kind of thing Australians tell Americans about drop beers that kept lunches been told that this will be funny to sound just to play big with the Americans. They all think of us a crazy hicks out there in that country. Teams on the line, you've got a bit more information about this Dave. Good morning. Good morning. Here we go. I'm good Dave. So what can you tell us about gravel as ovals in tassie? It's only one, so it's true and it's actually on the West Coast in a place called for instance. Right, so destroyed all the vegetation for more the late shake coming down from the ten when they're doing the tin money. So the whole town like when you actually go there, I don't know if you've ever heard of it, but you can't bear a series of 99 beds to get to the town at the bottom of a hill. And there's an oval that is gravel. So the average 13s are what's going on with that. There must be no marks in it. Heads the roads and we've got some good IFL applies for Tesla. When you're the other team and you look at your fixture and you're like, should we should we do that? Exactly. 99 bends in the road to that crushed rock oval. Now let's get started. That's amazing. Dave, thank you very much. The cure rider picks out the weight. Oh, and they say pick out the Wii. Yeah, that's not the problem. All right, enjoy. A good only day. Thank you very much for. All right, that's now crossed to the chapel of love where Rio is. This is where we're going to be in half an hour's time when we witnessing the union of Aaron and Laura wedding that we were trying to throw together in three days. Rio, are you out there? What's it looking like? I'm here in the chapel of love Christian. Everyone is in place. We've got jennette the cellist we've got Amanda the opera singer and The Godfather is lingering over new arid. I don't know what he's saying. There is that guy The Godfather, right? It's got a hell of a presence. Intimidating. I'm very scared. Oh, real. I tried to introduce myself. I said, hi, I'm Jack. You didn't say anything and he says, what's your name? All right, so can we hear a bit of the cello? Yes. We were

"Gravesite following the memorial service. As you know, at least Marie passed away last week at the age of 54. So we know it happens. I'm thinking of the Tacoma narrows bridge, maybe the bridge that crosses the Columbia river advantage when the wind blows. You'll hear noises. The iconic Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco releasing mysterious and seriously haunting Hal, giving those who drive over the bridge during high wind some serious chills, the noises, in fact, any so loud in fact that they're starting to bother nearby residents and how far they away from the Golden Gate Bridge. Turns out, according to IFL science, there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for the perplexing phenomenon and the increase in all loudness of different tones. It's not ghost The bestseller coming up with created by suicide deterring railings that were installed on the bridge back in 2020. And that's creepy just to think what's causing the howling sound, but everybody nearby in a resident say it comes at different times with various winds, depending on the speed of the wind determines the tone of the howl from very high pitched tones to very deep growling noises. Oh, and that's going to be fun to put the kids to bed with, right? 8 20 right now here at northwest news. Kind of weekend edition here of our stock chart dot com money in business update. "You see, so in the Trump years, maximum pressure on Iran and the people beginning to get a grip on the fact that the regime at the end table. Arrive by maximum pressure goes away. And the people go into their home until they just have opened in another shoe. They murder this young woman in prison because of her view. They wore in the wrong way. And now, I know you follow this pretty closely when how many different levels of how many people do you think have been murdered by the gate? Well, certainly hundreds. It's very hard to tell because, you know, it's very hard to get real information. We know that in November of 2019, 1500 people were massacred in a span of a week. So I assume. Oh yeah, that's absolutely true. Reuters reported on that. So, you know, I expect that the casualties are higher than what we are hearing. And but the difference is what the regime thought would happen just like it happened in 2019 as their brutality would suppress the demonstration. It hasn't, you know, the brutality has not discouraged people from going out and burning posters of the IFL and Soleimani and calling for the overthrow of the regime. The regime has been known to hand death to America Duff to Israel for 43 years. The people on the street today are calling death to dictator. That's how far we've come. Yeah, so Lin, do you actually think we could see a replay of what is going on in Iran from the could we see them fall the way we saw the Soviet Union fall? And rather dramatic fashion overnight. You know, it's hard to predict. I don't know. Now every dictatorship is different and yes, it could happen that way, it could happen a different way. I can't really know how the Iranian people will at some point take their destiny back from the I fellows. It could. It could, because we were talking about this with her. There are people inside the IRGC, which is the revolutionary guard corps where it's essentially reports to the IFL hub who have not been cooperative and suppressing the Senate. There have been people in police who haven't been suppressing dissent. There are fissures that are growing. We're not hearing much about them here in the west, but even people just to give put in a perspective, I already see is like the Gestapo of the Nazi regime. So there are reasons to not be wrong. They're relieved of this life. And even there, you're seeing people who refuse to suppress their neighbors and the average eruption demonstrator. So what I want to make sure people understand is that the regime there is a totalitarian regime, the facade that's been up there. We've known forever as a facade. The idea that there are liberals in Iran is nonsense. But there are deeply vested fam like the Robson johnnys, that have been pushed to the side, but they have a lot of money. And I've been reading the Iran story. It looks to me like the other parts of the country, the people, the academics, the students, and the money may have had it with the ayatollahs. Am I right about that lent? You're a 100% right. And even within those families that you mentioned, how many zone niece criticized the government of the other week and I believe she was arrested for. So you're saying a lot more people if more and more prominent positions slide with the protesters. And that's why you're seeing trial balloons like this one with this band of this morality, which I believe it when I see it, but that's why you think it's going to be..

"Gunners in an Apache helicopter, mistakenly, and cavalierly mowing down Iraqi civilians and two Reuters reporters. The video played behind us on a huge screen, listened closely. I point out to Chelsea, she's not watching it. Two 60. Come on, fire. Hey, roger. Thank you. Yeah. I've seen it. It's horrible. At the time of the video, Chelsea wasn't the only one alarmed, she spoke to soldiers on the ground who were appalled. There were Iraqi children in harm's way, and it was all covered up. So Chelsea was keeping the government secrets as well as her own about her identity as a woman. Yeah, I mean, I got to maybe three hours of sleep in IFL, if at all. Just trying to process all of this. And yet, you resist connecting the two. You don't want to pathologize trans people as like there's something wrong with them. So they did a data dump. Exactly. It takes agency away from me, right? This is fully my decision. This idea that somehow it's because of who I am, no. I was a data scientist, her decision after she had seen enough was to leak the sensitive documents, the army tracked her down, and would later say at her court martial that because she had what they called gender confusion which they said was not normal. They put her in a cage for her own safety. Yeah, 59 days. I called it Tiger cage because it was like a stainless steel mesh thing. Kind of went crazy. Oh, I thought it was. I thought my brain melted. 100°F. When it finally came time for Chelsea's court martial, she had only three options, plead not guilty when she knew she had leaked. Plead insanity, or plead mitigating factors which meant the very things she didn't want to do, arguing that her gender dysphoria had pushed her to the breaking point. But there was no option for her to plead that what she did was morally right. What did you want to say? Well, how can you have a public consent without informed consent about what is happening on the ground? She was sentenced to 35 years in prison while in prison she won the right to receive medical health transitioning and became an advocate for other prisoners rights. She was pardoned by then president Obama after 7 years. Today, her concern isn't withholding information. It's too much information. Society is very unable to cope or understand this information based world that I've been swimming in since I was a child. There's different Internet depending on what social media posts you like. You get different information. The government can do things in open now, then you'll have some mouthpiece who are just like, this isn't happening. This is what's happening. You talk about both the leak and your own transitioning as being an unburdening. How are you feeling? In my own life, I'm feeling a lot more centered and grounded. I'm a security consultant and now obviously I've written this book so I can hopefully start to talk about other things, which are, I think, more alarming. We have a very rough few decades ahead of us. Climate change happening. The rise of reactionary politics and the far right. I'm quite alarmed. It sounds like Chelsea Manning wants to get to work. I am working. Get to work. Working right before I got here. And you'll go back to it. Again, the book is read me, text, Chelsea, Manning. Thank you so much. Thank you. So yes, you guys got their oval court. Your oval looking fucked up football. That's what the Australian rules. Look at Australian football. Look it up. She told me about this before I looked it up. I'm like, what are you guys doing? They may have an oval. I've been square anymore. Yes, the ground is oval, the ball is oval. Basically, you just got to get the ball from one end to the other. There's like 16 players on a team and you basically just kick it as far as you can and if anyone else from the other team gets it, you basically just punch him as hard as you can.

"He doesn't have the same high per se Oscar pierce who does in terms of so a year or two or three Williams isn't the worst thing in the world for him. So I don't think he's going to be sing out on much. So at least he's in the system and then you know he can grow and develop and he could be like the Daniel Ricciardo sort of effect where he was good in the junior formulae but F one. It was the category that clicked for him really at least when he was a Red Bull drive. So it could be, yeah, it could be the right place for our time for old Jack, so that would be someone who really, you know, in terms of it's always nice to have two Aussies on the grid. Would be nice to have three. Let's not get gravy, though, because yeah, that could be, that could be 2024. Well, let's just start with two for now. I mean, we're at the moment, we really only got one. It's one in one out. It's like a clock. Like a really awful club. So we don't know what's going to happen. But it would be interesting for Jack because Williams is still keen on Logan sergeant. If you can't race next year, they want him to race the following year, assuming he has a good F two season, maybe even wins the thing. Yeah. So then that would maybe mean Jack's there on a one year deal. The question mark then is over who Alpine actually gets, it's a weakened situation. I don't know if you sort of feel the same way, but on the one hand it feels like they actually isn't that much talent out there to feel safe. You got a couple of two guys. Yeah. You've got your other random character like Nick to raise a sort of inserted himself here and that's pretty good. But then like we're still talking about Nico hulkenberg, who don't get me wrong, had a great career, but had a great career. It's happened. It's finished, but we're still talking about drivers like that. Even Antonio giovinazzi, who I liked and think he actually deserved a bit of a longer opportunity, but you know, it's not like he was making such a great case that he absolutely should be back on the Formula One grid either. So on the one hand, you sort of got a weak field, but on the other hand, if you did have someone like Jack do and rock up at Williams, there's every chance you might only get one year and then not find another seat because there are enough like average drivers making a good enough case for themselves that there aren't enough seats. True, but then if Jack uses that opportunity to go, well, this is how good I'm bloody am. You'd be mad not to keep me or to or to poach me. So he's got to be in the system. It's just like, it's like an IFL coach. I think James heard there's more. I think he's even on the Alpine wish list of potential candidates to fill that state. And if you're talking about there's not enough depth in the junior formula, which I disagree with. I'm actually very surprised that lame Lawson is not in the mix. For AlphaTauri, graduation, for example. So that surprises me a little bit. But yeah, I think there's enough talent on the grid to be filled by your F two types. And look, I'm not going to discredit IndyCar, right? I think that you could easily get all other drivers of higher stock on board. Yeah, I just found a bizarre is more eligible for super license points that Colton heard but he's not even in anyone's right up. And I think he's progression into IndyCar has been far more impressive, but nevertheless, yeah. It's an interesting, interesting time. It is interesting, isn't it? And it does make you wonder the Nick devries thing. Now he's another driver we should talk about here because he's on everyone's list all of a sudden he's on Williams lists. He's on Alpine's list. He's now apparently the favorite to go to alpha tauri replaced Pierre gasly. But he's kind of broken the business model a little bit because he's not come immediately up through F two. Obviously he's an F two champion a couple of years ago, but he's gone by formula E and he's a driver that realistically was written off. Before this year there was no chance he's getting to Formula One he had a shot at Williams and at Alfa Romeo for this season and Williams went for Alex Albon and Alfa Romeo and for Joe grand you in both of them worked out obviously. So that's no knock on that decision making. But all of a sudden is injected himself into the conversation for good reason because he had a great race in Italy. A great race on debut sudden race on debut. But it does make you wonder, every time we hear someone say, oh, like the F two greeted schnitzel very impressive, it's very weak greed, all these kinds of things. How seriously can we take it? Because as you sort of said earlier, sometimes drivers do click in formula and you can't take a punt on a driver happening to get all of a sudden much better and if one. But it does make you wonder whether actually we're bypassing too many drivers because sort of the vibe of the greed in F two. He's not so good. Reading, yeah, reading too many articles. I don't say we don't respect you, but in your posture, but I don't. Yeah, just yeah, you can't be riding off drivers in the press. And yeah, it's very strange that people get sucked into this vortex of if they've got good headlines around them, therefore they're going to be stand at driver because it's not always been the case. Not always been the case, but yeah, I think many seasons before it was written off too many drivers. Drivers of hung around for too long as well. So there's talent if you look hard enough and just ignore the hype and look at the raw facts and the raw data. This is why maybe this is why I'm anti anti hero because I just don't, if I look at the data, if I don't believe the headlines, if I don't say Lee diffie screaming about how good Colton herder is and every IndyCar driver just having Carlton's back. Very admirable. But if I'm looking at the data, I don't see it. I just don't bloody say it and I'm not going to get sucked in for it either. I'm not going for the popular route. Now is the time for the king to take his rightful place thrown in the Hall of Fame. Sit on his king of Thrones. I'm KB. That's my time. Books of neutrals. This break is brought to you by liquor land. How <SpeakerChange> are we? I'm <Speech_Male> good man. Have you had a good weekend? <Speech_Male> And what was <Speech_Male> the longest time in the queue for you, <Speech_Male> Peter? <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> I would have been lining <Speech_Telephony_Male> up at it <Speech_Telephony_Male> back in 1994 <Speech_Telephony_Male> but it keeps <Speech_Telephony_Male> closest and already <Speech_Telephony_Male> your parents dropped <Speech_Telephony_Male> us off at <Speech_Telephony_Male> bay at <Silence> <Speech_Music_Male> I think it <Speech_Telephony_Male> would have been about 7 or 8 o'clock <Speech_Telephony_Male> at night. I'd not be <Silence> tall. <Speech_Male> And we end up <Speech_Male> the gates open <Speech_Male> up early hours <Speech_Telephony_Male> of early in the <Speech_Telephony_Male> afternoon. There'll <Speech_Music_Male> be two or 3 o'clock. <Speech_Telephony_Male> When <Speech_Telephony_Male> they did open that, I <Speech_Telephony_Male> turned around to say my sister <Speech_Telephony_Male> <Speech_Telephony_Male> fight and end up <Speech_Telephony_Male> being a little more fleet. <Speech_Telephony_Male> So <Speech_Male> the Sir John's guys <Speech_Telephony_Male> come running in with a <Speech_Telephony_Male> round little stretcher and <Speech_Telephony_Male> picked her up. <Speech_Male> Took her off and I had to go off <Speech_Male> with it. So it was absolutely <Speech_Telephony_Male> pointless getting <Speech_Telephony_Male> the not before <Speech_Music_Male> being done. <Speech_Music_Male> We were at the back <SpeakerChange> of the line. <Speech_Male> No, <Speech_Male> that is harsh, <Speech_Male> isn't it? <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> So I still <Speech_Male> have not forgiven her for <Speech_Telephony_Male> a Christmas. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> Some <Speech_Male> scars never fully <Speech_Male> heal. <Speech_Male> Peter, thank you very much. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Thank you very much <Speech_Male> for your pizza. For I didn't <Speech_Male> even know they'll let you do <Speech_Male> that. Four days. <Speech_Male> Yeah, <Speech_Male> back in the 70s, we <Speech_Telephony_Male> had to queue up <Speech_Telephony_Male> on the Sunday before <Speech_Telephony_Male> the grandfather at <Speech_Music_Male> the clubs. <Speech_Male> So it <Speech_Male> used to be queued <Speech_Telephony_Male> up for four days, <Speech_Telephony_Male> and that was probably <Speech_Telephony_Male> during the 70s. <Speech_Telephony_Male> And in Richmond, <Speech_Telephony_Male> we played <Speech_Telephony_Male> several grand finals, <Speech_Telephony_Male> so did it <Speech_Telephony_Male> multiple <SpeakerChange> times. <Speech_Telephony_Male> And we used subbing <Speech_Male> out with people, <Speech_Male> friends and <SpeakerChange> family. <Silence> <Speech_Female> With <Speech_Telephony_Male> friends and family, <Speech_Telephony_Male> friends and <Speech_Telephony_Male> family and the mom used to <Speech_Telephony_Male> go home every night and <Speech_Telephony_Male> cook up dinner and bring <Speech_Telephony_Male> it back and <Speech_Male> this is a crazy <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> sleeping <SpeakerChange> deck chair. <Speech_Telephony_Male> I mean, people <Speech_Male> talk about so <Speech_Male> 20 hours to <Speech_Male> pay respects to the queen, <Speech_Male> but four <Speech_Male> days of <SpeakerChange> queuing. <Silence> Absolutely. <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Telephony_Male> where did you <Speech_Male> sleep? Do you have <Speech_Male> tents or? <Silence> No, we <Speech_Male> just slept in dick cheers <Speech_Telephony_Male> with a blanket over it. <Laughter> <Laughter> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> It was a very different <Speech_Male> time. <Speech_Male> Okay, <Speech_Male> that's insane. "That we have in the sport is unbelievable. In my view it is the greatest toy car race touring car category of the world. And I think our role is to support that provide the best being used in the best show for fans through attendance and other mediums, but broadcast digital platforms and we do stick to our loans, so to speak. And do what we both do best. I had conversations about Salem men and saint Anne with virtually all the team owners was a question of the free to air. We don't have as many big day to day brands, so to speak, but we do have some of them there. And they all need that television exposure. Are you getting much call from those team owners to say we need to be back on more freedom with than just the 6 rounds we're on currently? Not to be honest. I think what you need is you need balance in everything that you have. Things change platforms change. People's habits consumer habits change. You need to adapt to them. It's great to be a great trader. I was 7. We've got a great partner with socks. But we've also got other good partnerships with our media outlets. And strengthening product, or digital product, and you can communicate on a daily basis. So I think you need a mix of all the above. When you see the sports landscape and the media interaction, NFL now has a one game that's only available on a straining platform gillum McLaughlin and the IFL have gone over there and spoken to all those major players. And you obviously have to keep moving forward and keep looking at these trends. But have that huge ice in the company's sleeve, which is supercars, media. Yeah, I mean, the one thing that we do that a lot of people probably don't realize is supercars media. We do all our own TV production. And it's one of the best motor sport production companies in the globe. Recognize by many categories on how good a TV production is. I think that's a very solid. Platform for us. And then enables us to produce a quality broadcast that can position the position and trade away with Fox and obviously everyone on non digital platforms. So yeah, I think we're in good said there. And like every company you watch the trends, but we're very happy with our mix at the moment. Four dinosaurs like myself and Tony, we probably don't appreciate the amount of off week content that you are actually pushing out through supercars media. And through that TikTok and all those other platforms which are at a very different demographic to Tony and myself and to be honest, probably yourself. Well, a little bit younger than you guys, but I can say that it's not, I couldn't imagine Tony on TikTok myself, but anyway. So I made all these things, all these platforms, merging their strong, you have to have to be operating in those spaces. And the way you consume now, younger audiences, every time poor, and if you, if you're not doing that, then that would be neglectful. And it sort of swing around from that mantra when you first draw the company that if it's not live, it didn't happen to now, if you don't have a 5 minute version of it that night, you might as well almost have to give up the game. Yeah, a lot of has changed, right? That's for certain, but I think if you've got the product, you've got the show, and then you've got the mediums to be able to distribute it. You're in pretty good shot. Shane, you talked before about one of the biggest projects, the biggest, not obstacles, but obviously opportunity with gen three. Can you give us any idea as to how much money has been invested by supercars to develop this other category? A significant amount of money, Tony. It's an incredible project. It's a world class platform. The cars are beautifully engineered. We've got some of the best engineering brands in motor sport working on them. And it's coming at a very well. They're like any project nowadays. There's always time constraints and you can supply chains and all those sorts of things and everybody works through. But I think what we will provide the public next year is some beautiful rising cars that will race very hard, look good, sound right. And the rising quality will be strong. And at the end of the day, the competition is at an extremely high level as you know. With the intensity of our teams and your apply that into a racing category and you've got something pretty special. One of the things that made our category so strong for say that period from O two to sort of 12 or 15 was the internationalism of the category. That time when we were having everybody at the Gold Coast had to have an overseas driver. And then so much of the year we were preparing for backers and they'd be the over the box. We don't have any more because of testing restrictions and things like that. Do you see a time when we could get back to being a bit more international, if not going overseas to the chinas and Abu Dhabi's and places like that. But to at least getting international drivers to come and race. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, it's very hard to get things get harder. Very internationals. I mean, you look at the number of races that Formula One do nowadays. Compared to what they were doing then you look at the lengths of seasons for various championships and the intensity of those championships. Then it's not easy just to cross polymeric drivers across them. And all leading drivers need to come in and they need to have some time in the car. Et cetera and those things just by nature of those all championships. Being at that level, harder to facilitate. It's harder to put the people to get time away and do other things. But I remember that when the international drivers at the Gold Coast it was fantastic. It was a really enjoyed that. And we've had some amazing international drivers coming 12 hour cars. I would like to get to the

"Asking for, but I think one of the rings gaming fans would want more like shadow of mordor and stuff. And that's where I met. That was the media thy one I saw this news. I was like, oh yeah, I'm sure. Like I was like, I'm sure this would be for somebody, right? I think Laura wings video games seem to speak loudly to people and when you start talking about a mobile game made by Electronic Arts and it's Lord of the Rings, but it's not going to be connected to the movie stuff. I'm sure you're drilling down further and further into a very niche group. But I'm sure the brand power is there there and I'm sure it's going to speak to a handful. But I am like, oh man, what is happening with the next Lord of the Rings game? Like monolith is working on Wonder Woman, so they're not working on the next shadow of war or shadow of mordor. Does that mean we're done? Does that mean we're not getting a next game in that franchise or are we going to wait forever? That thought kind of saddens me because I think those games are really fun and I do want to see more from at the very least the nemesis system because I feel like that was very underutilized. Not even just in The Lord of the Rings game, but in games in general. I'm surprised more WB games, more games outside of that. Didn't at least try to ape that to some regard, right? I'm sure part of that must be copyright and like I'm sure or they patented it. But I would like to see some inspired takes on that because I felt like that system was so it was innovative. It felt like something new it felt like something fresh and it was just a fun thing to play around with when I was playing shadow of mordor. I wanted to see more from that. But yeah, I'm sure this EA mobile order rings game. I'm sure it will be for some folks out there. Maybe 80 Cortez. Story number three, Tim, this is a fascinating one that I can't actually wait to break down with you. Scientists invent mouth haptics for VR, and it's crazier than it sounds. I'm pulling from Ryan dinsdale from the dimsdale demo dome, aka IGN. Kevin, I have a video that I want you to prep. Don't play the video, prep it at 56 seconds in. And I want to watch it with sound. But first, I'm going to read through this story. Scientists have invented mouth haptics for VR that allows users to feel different virtual experiences with their mouths. These include feeling the wind on your face while riding a bike, taking a sip from a fountain and feeling the water on your lips. And covering yourself with spiders that you'll feel running in and around your mouth. As reported by too far, as reported, IFL science. Saying that's when they went too far. You know what I mean? Everything else here. It was good. And it was like also spiders on your face. It's like, they can't just straight up be like, yo, you get to feel those titties in your mouth. You know what I mean? Tim knows what the real utilization for this is. As reported by IFL science inspired by PC gamer, scientists from Carnegie Mellon, the university's future interfaces group added ultrasonic transducers to a meta quest two that focus acoustic energy on the mouth. When partnered with virtual reality demos, this essentially means that users will feel different sensations on their lips, teeth, and tongue, depending on what they're doing in game. The mouth haptics are programmed to do different things depending on the situation, including single impulses, taps, pulse trains, multiple taps in a row, swipes in the X, Y, and Z directions, that's moving along, down, and towards your mouth, and persistent vibration..

"She's done figure it out and copy it. When I first started asking people about their moments in 2021, that they valued in sport. If I had selected ten of those moments, ash baddies Wimbledon wouldn't have been one of them. But now I'm thinking, how is that possible? Well, why wouldn't you be the top one or two? And it's amazing isn't it how when we look at the year that's passed through our own through our own spectacles, we miss things, but it's great to be able to talk to other people and hear from their perspective how important things were, so it's good to have this conversation, thanks for sharing. Well, I appreciate the opportunities to I think that much media. I think we all are aware of that. But I think you need to search for those gems, not hover over what's running at the moment. And obviously the traditional sports of IFL and NRL and obviously football rugby union they volleyball even they tend to dominate, but there's a whole raft to sports. We need to open up an investigate. We've got champions across all sorts and where the Winter Olympics are. We're going to go and see another batch of champions. We've broken ground in the Winter Olympics for the first time in the last in a sense decade. And we don't have that much snow. So those people are doing amazing things. I just urge everyone to not be sports centric on one sport, but to enjoy the moments across all Australians are doing. And it is inspirational to me to say, well, hang on, I've got some ikes and pints, and I've got these things holding me back in my head. And then I'll look at what other people are achieving, and it's like Everest versus me. Because of you Oscar and I just get on with it. Things could be a lot worse. And as badly for me, when she held up that silver try and acknowledged even girl gone. I had tears in my eyes. I was, I was right there in front of the TV with her and I'm sure as I said before millions of other Australians. And we're going to go and see that again. There'll be another moment on our flag at the Australian open where the two of them will get together. And I think that's going to be spectacular. Fantastic. Robert Allen, thank you for sharing. Thank you Stewart and thank you, listeners. Thank you for joining me on this episode of the future champions podcast, the top ten sporting moments of 2021. "I'm sure it was something to do with maybe money, but I know they sold it and did good. I think they sold it to UFC, actually. I know a lot of the guys that were there went to UFC, affliction as well. But it was great, man. It was a life change at the time. You know, I was coming up and Randy was actually post that supposed to have a team. And of course, I'm part of the extreme couture. I don't know what happened with him. He didn't end up getting a team, of course, probably UFC blocked it at the time, but boss ruined got a team and I got on his team, which is great. And it was great man at the time. It was life-changing again because we were on salary. We were on like $2500 a month, game changeout, you know what I mean? At the time, you know, being able to take care of yourself through MMA was still, you know, it was still, you know, wishy washy, and yeah, I had sponsors. I had to salary. I bought my first house through IFL. I became ultimately ultimately became a the champion the world champion through them. Nothing but good memories they were good people, the president of the organization, the owners, I always got along with them. They had a great they had a great idea. I mean, you know, you know, it's sad that it didn't last, you know, it would have been if it was around today. I think it would have been big time. Yeah, absolutely. Because people love to have like the city that they root for are the state that they improve. It's perfect. And that was great. But I think you got a question about acting? Yeah, well, Adam just kind of answered it, as I'm saying, you came pretty successful as an actor pretty quickly. But also, how did you make the transition from fighting? First of all, I know when you stop a career as a fighter, it must be one of the hardest things for most human beings to do. But it seems like it's seamlessly. It's so hard. I mean, I get, you know, the answer to that question, I get asked a lot of times by, you know, younger fighters and all. How did I.

You have a girlfriend? She broke their back. Okay. Yeah. Look, you're a great person, you're sweet, pretty adorable. You're nice, you're a fighter, you got your shit together, your coach kids. We've got Anthony Taylor coming on, who just fought on the undercard of Jake Paul Tyron Woodley. He fought Tommy Fury, it was a pretty competitive Anthony lost, but fucking fought like 20 pounds up. It was a second boxing fight against Tyson Fury's little brother. It was crazy. And people didn't like the way he was very low. Actually, taught me very look. And crazy. And we also got Jay Haran, who, you know, was in the UFC. UFC, he was in Bellator. He was an IFL. IFL, which is how I know him, yeah. WEC affliction, he might even fought bulldog. The guy's been in everything. And now he's successful actor working on his 90th movie dude is like really? Yeah. Yeah. Matt damn it. And he did it the right way, man. Nothing was handed to him. He's in every marvel thing too. He's always at the bad guy. Really? Yeah. That guy and all those marvel movies. Like daredevil or this one of that one. And he's losing his Luke cage. "So and then with that job at seasonal ish anyway, we run you around, but there's some slow seasons. But like this winter, we're not sure if we're running or not. And it's like, well, figure that out if I'm not running. I got a lot of other projects and a lot of other hikes to do. So yeah, it's a flexible enough job to be like, yep, I can do it when I'm here and doing it. I love it. And I'm full-time there if they need me. But I'm flexible enough with the side hustles where it's like, I don't have to do that. Right. Right. So yeah. It's kind of just figuring out. I knew I wanted to set myself up to be able to do this. And it was so scary to leave automotive, only this is what I know. But it was the best decision I've ever made. Just do it. And it has worked out so amazing. Yeah. Kind of like hiking in a way you can, like, you know, this is going to work out, but you go for it and it just is amazing. It just works out. So what do you do for health insurance, you know, kind of running different small businesses or taking some time off and hiking. And is there any special insurance yet while you're hiking? Yes and no, I have my approach is a lot like I guess, like my own approach for it. So IFL insurance through work when I'm there at the mountain I'm a full-time there. So they do have health insurance when I'm working. When I'm not working when I had started before the AT I actually had Crohn's. So I had gone through doctors and doctors and doctors in the end when I finally figured out oh, I don't have to have Crohn's. It's like I met a doctor that had pretty much saved my life. And ended up teaching me about health. And it's like, health is in your hands, you know, you get to manage your own health. And so in managing my own health, I have no problem doing that. And I think it should be in your own hands to manage that. So when I don't when I travel and I'm out doing other things, like the only thing I'd really worry about is broken bone or something like that. Health wise I.
