"That's because they don't stare you steer it electrically, which is a really bizarre concept, but that's what you can do with low frequency radio astronomy. The I've been there actually Andrew to the site because there are jobs because of facilities there already something called a scout which is the Australian square kilometer array Pathfinder and something called Mr. Sorry the NWA which is the Murchison Widefield array which in some ways resembles the the Christmas trees of the final thing, except. They look like coat hangers on the ground mwa antennas so that these facilities are already there. It's a place as I said, I've visited it really intriguingly the day that I visited this desert facility absolutely poured down. We all got drenched. This was probably dead. You know a slightly odd ball day. There was the remnants of a cyclone I think which were blowing in until there's a lot of rain around Northwestern wa so we got wet but everything seemed to survive. Okay because it's built to withstand rain as well heat. There are perhaps the biggest threat to the antennas is occasionally you get camels wandering through that area and they're quite big compared with the metal Christmas tree. And so the there is a hope that the camels will stay away but they've put signs up saying, no camels here, please or something like that. Yeah, then they might have to write that in Afghan. Yeah. That's right. That's where they came here are official. Yeah. That's what I'm trying to say. But I actually we drive back from the hunter Valley other day and I saw two camels. Oh really dead. It caught me off-guard. I think they were on a farm but I think it was a bit right to see camels in the hunter Valley but they don't usually come this far east. But yeah, we have a a set date or year or time frame for completion of this construction phase..

"The hunter valley and you're listening to weekend edition from NPR news this is doctor Michael Wilkes with a second opinion Ernestine is a seventeen year old homeless woman who came to see me yesterday morning just a few hours after she was discharged from the hospital emergency department her arm was in a sling and was wrapped from her fingers all the way up to her shoulders in white dressing her other arm also had a white dressing with a large spot of dried blood in the center when I saw her all wrapped up in bandages my first comment was holy cow what happened during the scene her first comment to me was I am so lucky and I have so much to be thankful for she told me how the previous night she was viciously attacked and stabbed by her former boyfriend just two days before she and I had talked about her need to get a restraining order after she explained the details of the assault she again spoke of how thankful she was to put this in context for at least six months she had been homeless she had been living on the street after being kicked out of her home by her mother she had to drop out of school she lost contact with your brothers and sisters and she usually could only afford to eat one meal a day and now she was brutally assaulted a and she was grateful gratitude is a positive emotion felt when one realizes that someone else has given you something of value psychologists have suggested that gratitude plays a pivotal role in promoting positive social relationships which are essential in a well functioning society gratitude signals a kindness and motivates the Grateful individual often a relative stranger to reciprocate the pro so social behavior studies show that experiencing gratitude directly facilitates repayment of the favor with a kind act in return this is a sort of cycle of kindness among a highly social species human beings Ernestine explained that she had so much to be thankful for the medical care she received at the hospital the woman who found her after the attack and drove her to the hospital and the few people in her life who really cared about her I was silent how could this woman practice gratitude at a moment like this in her life as we approach the thanksgiving holiday it seems appropriate to consider how the practice of gratitude supports our own well being research in the area of positive psychology provides evidence demonstrating that practicing gratitude has enormous impact on our physical and or emotional health it turns out that gratitude causes the release of the neuro transmitter dopamine in key areas of the brain the health effects of gratitude range from increasing happiness to focusing less on material objects to reducing Bernau to sleeping better to being less.

"Upload to your brain all right now this week for those who have been asking and wonder what I'm going to open the next day drinking the night label by shifting colors from the hunter valley it is a shot now this is the twenty nineteen release some monsters have sent me this bottle book returning to seventeen Bucks it's a it's a stunner at seventeen dollars it's got this French oak flavor to it apple's pair I'm really enjoying it I've got it just taken out of the fridge left a for a little bit I actually think the flavors come out of it more as it starts to almost warm up a little bit but for some of this is something I'm really enjoyed I had salmon for dinner fat with the shot Nate really enjoyed it I think we need to get back into shot I think it'll be a bad rap we were starting to get away from it but this is a really fine examples from **** clock in hunt valley you can get from this cellar door or you can go to sauces and get exclusively from them as well seventeen Bucks not a bad little drop all right let's kick off with the news now this week hi since decided to announce their one hundred inch four K. lays that TV now I actually saw this at C. S. in January in Las Vegas and it's it's pretty amazing now let me demystify the name a little bit it's a four K. laser TV what they actually mean is just a very very short for our project so what I'm suggesting here is that the television component yes to has a TV June of built into it but when people hear the way TV they imagine a screen that gets put on the wall now in this instance if you do buy a high sense one hundred inch four K. laser TV what actually coming do is they install it in your home for you when I install of almost like a matte finish screen on to the wall so it's it's almost like a piece of material one hundred inches and they fit that to the wall is very small very thin piece of material but it frames up the image and then the actual projected gets put on say your entertainment unit maybe twenty centimeters from the wall and that's it it basically projects on to that screen and yes you will get a one hundred inch image but it's not essentially a TV okay but what I will say is that this unit is quite large and it's large for a reason not only is that house the project and the TV channel it also has apps and it's also got speeches so it's got enough speak is to essentially be all you need for the room it also has a wireless subwoofer as well JBL has thrown the components inside it so you'd expect it to sound fairly good what I will say that from an apt point of view it's really nice that has got Stannis got Netflix escort you to and I can always watch afraid away it also still has input so if you want to connect your Foxtel box to it and things like that you still can do that now the kicking here is actually the price we're looking at nineteen nine nine nine I recommended retail in stores by the end of this month but I twenty grant that opens up a couple of other options now a lot of people haven't reported on this but what I will tell you is that optimum optimum makes project is that kind of their bread and butter optimist been making project is for a very long time that he's you know coincidently decided to announce a four K. laser projector so they haven't decided to use the TV phrase but this is essentially a very similar product that actually also go speak is built into this unit as well it actually can be controlled through Amazon Alexa or the Google assistant as well and you know this does change the conversational it'll be into are you looking for a project out or you're looking for a unit that's an all in one now the office about has got speakers built into it as well it's probably not going to be anywhere near as good as the JBL speakers they're in a high sense but the price may change the conversation because the optima projector is seven nine nine nine six eight grand you'll have a projected that can still to a one hundred inch you know projection on the wall if you actually move it back a little further you can go up to a hundred and fifty inches but you can get the same put on the on your timing unit produce a one hundred inch screen very quickly I have eight thousand dollars to us okay as well but you will need to start connecting boxes into this so maybe by an apple TV for you know a couple hundred Bucks so you can get your Netflix you stand your your troops even at players will be really cool but then you're going to still need to connect everything else now if you start at these costs out maybe going to get a sound bar with a beautiful subwoofers well with spike met them before by Jeff thousand dollars we're still not going to be a even ten grand so I haven't compared these two side by side but let's think about it for a second if you are going to have a home theater and you're looking at getting a project up these two options a fantastic but if you want to save about ten grand maybe the optimist gonna be the one for you now one of the things I'll say here on both of their cases is using ultra short throw is fantastic the reason being the unit is so close to the wall that if people get up during the movie they walk out they go get a snack whatever it is they're not going to you know blocks it blocks the projection not going to get plastic crate that shadow that you get you know with traditional home theater with a projector is behind you so I really like this and I've tested an optimist short for a project before in a bedroom and literally had the whole wall as the screen it doesn't incredible job and this was maybe three or four years ago and it really compensates for the paint color that you might have on that wall you know everybody has a you know perfect white or matte finish or anything like that and it can also actually keystone so if you've got maybe a great wall it will compensate for that by pushing wants to be Brina in certain areas to make sure that you don't see that that war was actually gray I said look if you how are in the market you do have money to do something like this may be building a new home you're considering a project to for that to fantastic options definitely worth checking them both now but you know I have to have it think about it have a think about the price now everyone's going to be talking about the ultimate one dating maybe have the marketing budget apply sense.

"And unfeeling full of love right now. I know why celebrate because you used to have another job so you weren't event manager fulltime and decided to leave that behind the become a celebrate and I believe you've just gone full-time. That's right in November last year. I quit my day job and I'm now following. My Passion wishes to be full-time fulltime celebrant. I just love love. I love marrying people in telling their love stories yeah so wonderful job. What about financially because I mean you marry? I'm guessing you have a mortgage. You'd probably have car repairs and all that sort of things financially like did you say Ron. I'M GONNA risk it all and and go for it. I had very understanding boss who let me go from five days a week to four days a week to three days a week as always building my business but she wouldn't let me go less than three days so at some point I had to make the leap and that's what I did so luckily have a supportive husband as well and I just feel that you know if I want to do this. I need to put on my energy. There and I wouldn't say one fulltime wages just yet but I'm heading in the Right Direction Co.. What was it the Haji believing that I can stop the three days? I'm going to quit the day the job I'm going to go full-time. Probably the volume of bookings like I was working a lot of ours. I was working my day job and then I was working every evening meeting the couples in every weekend and it Kinda wasn't sustainable and I knew all the signs pointing in the right direction so a hat to jump trump also a lot about Silla Brinson how many bookings you do in regards to photography when compared to photography. So how many couples do you need to book to have a sustainable business. Well it depends where you price yourself in the market of course but I would be booking a wedding every Saturday. I'm probably unlike photographers Sullivan Khandu to weddings in a day now. It doesn't always work ice because most people want to get married at three P._M.. On a Saturday but there are times where might be able to do a one P._M.. And a four P._M.. I am especially like up in the Hunter Valley where the venues are close together so you gotta take those opportunities when Econ and yeah so ideally I'll book on every Friday as well and if I'm lucky on Thursday and then I kinda compliment that with the baby naming on Sunday as well so do you do things funerals funerals baby namings high swarming anything you want life is to be celebrated so yes we must celebrate all the occasions in our lives. Can you give me ballpark figure what a couple would pay to have a celebration yeah what <music> I'm up Ryan the top end of the market for Newcastle it is a bit location specific. I feel like the Melbourne celebrants are really leading the way and what they can charge but in Newcastle Hunter Valley so I'm over a thousand dollars. I'm sitting at the top but I'd like to you see more celebrants often over that figure because it's very hard to make a livable wage on less than not unfortunately in our industry might be the same for photographers. There's a lot of amateur hobbyists in the industry and when they sort motive charge low prices devalue what we do so I'd like to see more emphasis paste on the ceremony and the celebrates and we're starting to see a change now I think in the past you know people would maybe sit through a boring ceremony be looking at their watch running when the bar was gonna open whereas now I think couples can expect more on want more and understand that the ceremony a good ceremony will set the vibe for the whole day okay. It's Iran a thousand dollars so like do you have tog like. Is it one hundred clients in a year like is that the target I think almost six figures I think I would love to do ninety two one hundred weddings a year at the moment. I'm doing a base sixty five years so I've ruined for growth. The problem is opened the ninety two hundred year really hustling. You're hustling sling hard so it's not fine line of keeping your customer service.

"May was going to get a majority in parliament she was go joint don't have a solid team to to really push through that hard brexit now we're in a very different situation and the pound is probably just getting a little bit of support from this morning absolutely this is a question that we were all skiing on friday already what is the market going to focus on is the potential of a softer breaks it all the political uncertainty something that we're going to to watch looking ahead do we also need to talk a little bit about some wheeling and dealing in the commodity space christine what are we expecting rio tinto response to glenn kohl's bid for its australian coal unit while rio tinto hasn't made much comment except that it's reviewing glencorse offer and that it's going to respond in due course so what glencore is put on the table is a deal for two point five five billion dollars and for some of its coal assets that are in australia now this is a premium to the two point four five billion that was offered by channel china's yan jiao coal and that was an offer that was made earlier this year in january says he is a generality saying that the premium as well as the fact that glencorse offer is going to be fully backed and fully funded by cash it probably gives it a little bit of an advantage by it's too hard to tell whether or not that is really going to fail to sway real one way or the other okay why then g think glen coup is making this move now well i mean glencore is back in the game when it comes to dealmaking i mean it's it's now coming out of the commodity downturn aides it's we're seeing some easing of that pain and twenty to expand and pick up new assets and see the the sea the of company has always been in favour of coal so it makes sense that and glencore is going down a down a path you're trying to pick up some call assets and it makes sense because the these real assets in particular that are basit hunter valley in australia rj sent to minds that are operated by glencore so and acquisition of these mines would bring them the company's production cabal see for coal.
