Bari Weiss Owning CNN's Brian Stelter Is 2 Minutes of Pure Television Gold

"So Brian stelter, asbury wise kind of like, oh, Barry wise, you say the world has gone mad. Why do you say the world has gone mad and she owns stelter to his face. Very Weiss. Is able to say so clearly, here's why the world has gone mad. Why are you not doing anything about it? And then he challenges his, oh, well, it's not like you're not allowed to say those things. Play Barry Weiss, some of the most beautiful two minutes on television of CNN being called out to their face. By the way, this is a moderate liberal. She is not a conservative, she's not a leftist, this is someone who's on the center left who worked for The New York Times. Listen. You write, there are tens of millions of Americans who aren't on the hard left or the hard right who feel the world has gone mad. So in what ways has the world gone bad? Well, you know, when you have the chief reporter on the beat of COVID for The New York Times, talking about how questioning or pursuing the question of the lab leak is racist, the world has gone mad. When you're not able to say out loud and in public that there are differences between men and women, the world has gone mad. When we're not allowed to acknowledge that rioting is rioting and it is bad. And that silence is not violence, but violence is violence, the world has gone mad. When we're not able to say that Hunter Biden's laptop is a story worth pursuing the world has gone that, when in the name of progress, young school children as young as kindergarten are being separated in public schools because of their race. And that is called progress rather than segregation, the world has gone mad. There are dozens of examples that I could share with you in which you often say you say a lot of knows this. And you say we're not allowed to lose the people stopping the conversation. Who are they? People let work at networks, frankly, like the one I'm speaking on right now who try and claim that, you know, it was racist to investigate the lab leak theory. It was. But I'm just saying, when you say a loud, I just think it's a provocative thing to say, you say, you say, we're not allowed to talk about these things. But they're all over the Internet. I can Google them. Everywhere. I've heard about every story you mentioned. So I'm just suggesting, of course, people are allowed to cover whatever they want to cover. But you and I both know and it would be delusional to claim otherwise that touching your finger to an increasing number of subjects that have been deemed third rail by the mainstream institutions and increasingly by some of the tech companies will lead to reputational damage, perhaps you losing your job. Your children sometimes being demonized as well. And so what happens is a kind of internal self censorship. This is something that I saw over and over again when I was at The New York

Bari Weiss Tells Brian Stelter How 'the World Has Gone Mad'

"The hour, want you to hear there's some pretty powerful exchange between bari. Barry Weiss, this is pretty interesting story. She was once one of The New York Times is top writers. But as registered points out, she was harassed and bullied by other employees of the highly woke New York Times. She finally resigned. And then she spilled the beans on The New York Times toxic work environment, and the complete intolerance of non left wing thought. She's not a conservative, but she just does not somebody more of an independent writer as I understand it. So listen to this exchange she had with Brian stelter over the weekend on CNN. You know, when you have the chief reporter on the beat of COVID for The New York Times talking about how questioning or pursuing the question of the lab leak is racist, the world has gone mad. When you're not able to say out loud and in public that there are differences between men and women, the world has gone mad. Is the Biden Regime Illegitimate?

"We are one on one with Stanford University's professor Victor Davis Hansen. Given that you have said all the synonyms, the deep state, the permanent bureaucracy, justified, not hyperbole, we have the empirical evidence. If we add to that, what we witnessed last year, 80 million unbidden mail out ballots sent out. Democrat governors across the nation saying we don't need to verify signatures. We can stretch the dates suitcases of ballots being pulled from under tables on CCTV. And Hunter Biden, the Hunter Biden story being literally censored at the source by Silicon Valley, the oldest newspaper in America, Alexander Hamilton's New York Post, not being allowed to re post the story of the contents of the hunt of mine laptop. Is it again? I'm using you as my sounding board. Is that hyperbole? It is an exaggeration to say that this quote unquote regime, this White House is illegitimate professor. Or I'm not going to adjudicate because that's what Hillary Clinton did and discouraged. Remember, she said that he was that he was not fairly elected. Stacey Abrams did that. All I will say is that when you transition in a single election cycle to the highest you've ever had mail in ballots in 2016 of 40% roughly. And you go to 63%, a 102 mail in or early ballots. And the error rate goes from a typical per state average of three to 4% rejection rate. And it goes down to .2 to .4, depending on the state. And then you're told that when you more than double the amount of work, the tabulate those ballots. And you need double the amount of workers. Yet you're going to find less air than you usually would when you have half the bowel, I just don't believe that's

Very Few People Do Monstrous Things While Thinking 'I'm Doing Something Monstrous'

"I'm talking to the husband of Molly Hemingway, Mark Hemingway together they put together a brand new book called rigged, how the media big tech and the Democrats seized our elections. Mark, you were just saying that these generals and others who signed the letter calling the Hunter Biden laptop story Russian disinformation, they seem all to have known that they were lying that they were lying to the American people that they were using their public personae in a way that would be effective because of who they are and because of their titles. And that they did it because they thought they had to save the republic from another Trump presidency. And I only half jokingly refer to Hitler because very few people do monstrous things thinking I'm doing something monstrous. They always have what they think of as good reasons. The difference is that in a country of laws, like the United States of America, there are these guardrails. There's the constitution. We have jail for people who break laws. How is it you think that so many high figures, including Hillary Clinton would very very seriously lie? Another was know that they're lying and with a straight face, speak to American voters and citizens and say things that they know aren't even slightly true. With some desired effect. Do you suppose that they never thought that they would be found out? Is that part of it? I mean, so in the case of someone as large as Hillary Clinton, I mean, I do think that they're do exist, you know, avaricious narcissists at a level in our league leadership in this country that should be concerning to us. As for, you know, people that are further down the rung that are the lieutenant supporting all this nonsense, I think a big part of the problem, of course, is the media in this country. We have a hugely asymmetric media system in this country. You know, if I want to know what a liberal in this country thinks I can turn on the television in ten seconds later, I know what it is. You know, liberals in this country on the other hand, because they have such hegemonic control of all of these institutions, you know, they're not out there subscribing to the Claremont review of books or watching Eric metaxas to see what conservatives think about important

"Is merrick garland conflicted. There's a conflict of interest here. Clearly as his daughter is now married into the family and as part of the family of the company that parents are speaking out against and merrick. Garland says oh. Don't worry i'll throw the feds at them. We're just going to send the fbi and intimidate and chill future speech since two thousand september. Two thousand twenty one. But just last month. Panorama educations anton. Tanner raised sixty million dollars to expand operations. His father in law merrick garland then tells the fbi to investigate any potential parental interference or disruption. That might impede his daughter and son-in-law business interests we used to have laws against the sort of stuff but it's no surprise that the same thing. How joe biden creates chinese policy to benefit his family. So same thing hunter biden says. Oh i don't know who's buying my art. Even though breaking news stories shows today he's hanging out with the people that are buying but always follow the money everybody that there is a profit motive and there's an incentive behind the clampdown merrick garland. How Joe Biden Is 'Flushing out the Pheasants' in the U.S. Military

"A pheasant. Hunter not a professional pheasant hunter. But i do enjoy pheasant hunting. I was actually pheasant hunting in south dakota last week. My goodness just feels a lot longer than that. And when i was in south dakota pheasant. Hunting and anyone who pheasant hunts knows this. There's a strategy called flushing where us dogs. I grew up with a german short haired pointer and you would send the dogs out in the fields and they'll work the fields they'll find the pheasant and they will provoke the pheasant to then leave the field fly in the air and then bang. You have a chance to shoot. The pheasant flushing out requires not just the identification but the provoking of the pheasant out of the field and up into the air. Now for those of you that know that shot pheasants you then call hens and roosters there some farms where if it flies at dies but hopefully you're not shooting hands and if it's a rooster hopefully you will shoot. Pheasant actually tastes pretty good in a soup but the strategy of flushing. Is this idea that you need to not just find the pheasant. You need to provoke it. Identify it spotted and then bang. You could take it out this very same strategy of flushing out. The pheasants is happening. Metaphorically of course in how joe biden is handling the federal vaccine mandate in the military. Joe biden wants to have people that are conservative. Strong willed independent thinkers identify and get flushed out of the military as if we were shooting pheasants in the field in central south or north dakota to be able to take them out

"So Miranda what do you think the most damaging If you had a kind of triage the damage here right What do you think is the most damaging You're like oh this one's catastrophic Forget it Most damaging element of the laptop is it the China emails about 10% for the big guy I mean that's pretty bad Nuclear powered enemy the United States trying to buy off a family member the bidens and then given the former vice president of kickback or is it the imagery which I've heard from people who've seen it is very disturbing some of the stuff obviously not appropriate for family how we're on a radio show but what do you think the most destructive portion of this laptop is Well it's how it dams Joe Biden as being part of the scheme intimately involved in this game orchestrating this game He's involvement in the meetings with whether it's foreign oligarchs whether it's government president Xi people in Ukraine Joe Biden was there amazing these people grazing the whales introducing them to his son giving his son enormous access And then also evidence that hunter was paying for Joe we have the receipts on the laptop hunter was paying for Joe Biden's bills And you know I've dealt also back externally from the laptop they're probably 5 or 6 points of light that illuminate sections of the laptop that otherwise out of context you wouldn't realize they're full import And you know everything from Tony bob linsky trove information that I've been given from his various phones and he's filed and so on and that tellies up with what's on the laptop Once you have this interlocking jigsaw puzzle you have laid out a map of exactly what the Biden scheme was all about It was a family business and it was

"Big story of this week in washington. Nancy pelosi is trying to spend not only your money and your kids money. Trying to spend your grandchildren's money and your great grandchildren's money three and a half trillion dollars. And she said she intimated she'd settle for two and a half join or two trillion over. We haven't got it. It'd be the most inflationary destructive expansion of the welfare state destroying incentives of work destroying family structures. She's on a rampage because she's questioned a lame duck. She's out of here and she wants a big going away party with your money. She just wants a boy. Didn't she. get something big done. Same thing joe biden. These legacy hunters are destroying our legacy to our kids by eating up. One thing they're doing is raising stepped up basis erasing stepped up basis. So few saved your whole life. "Very serious story With broke yesterday on Business Insider broken incredible story about Hunter Biden again I say incredible because it's not incredible What's incredible about this story is if the media would have done their job before the 2020 election where remember that poll in November of 2020 one in 6 voters would have changed their vote if they knew the level of corruption from the Biden family and hunters deals Remember that poll Well this story Business Insider which is covered by Fox as well At Hunter Biden is alleged now to have tried to scam Libya out of $2 million too to try to get some funds Libya had locked up released Clearly trying to pay Hunter Biden who is a grifter for access to his dad to get money's Libya felt they were owed released so they were going to give 2 million to hunter according to the Business Insider report Now what's incredible about the story What's incredible about the story is it's totally not incredible And if the media would have done their jobs back in 2020 before the election when they knew Hunter Biden was running a huge grift scam campaign with his corrupt loser dad sitting in The White House now It's likely the election would have turned down not just differently but far differently Joe Biden likely would have lost this race in a landslide But because the media worked with the intelligence agency to hide this valuable information from the public because they are corrupt they effectively rigged rigged rigged left he's like you're not allowed to say that You don't tell me what we're allowed to say You can stick that up your wazoo We say what we want and we speak the truth It is now clear as day that the FBI tried to rig the 2016 election with the Hillary Clinton campaign In fact fact the verdict is in Fact the gavels

"hunter long" Discussed on Big Blue View

"But i would look to probably get off them both in a wide receiver in too wide receiver type of leagues cole. Beasley is also a wide receiver. Three that i feel like you can consider somebody who keeps seeing a solid target share. I have him so beasley. That is as my thirty ninth. Ranked receiver day the wattle as my thirty eighth. I should probably bump them up a little bit now that the news came out about wolf fuller missing this game which is not due to injury. It's not due to suspension due to something else according to the team steph on digs. Obviously you're firing up miles gaskin. I'm still firing him up as a low end running back to healing nine carries last week for forty nine yards. But i was up in new england and he had the five targets. He's going to have that high target share to likes to dump it off to the running backs. I am still going to start miles gaskin and most formats zach. Moss reportedly was a healthy scratch but came out that he was inactive because he was dealing with a slight injuries so he might be playing games. Watch out for that. That could take some carries away from devon single terry. Who's not exactly a running back. I'm looking to play anyways. I had him ranked right now as my thirty second ranked running back but moss is healthy and is going to play which it looks like that may happen and he won't be scratch and i probably wouldn't even have them ranked in my top thirty five. This is not a football team that is going to be running the football all that often. The offense runs through stefan digs. The offense runs through josh allen and his playmaking ability and then the tight ends mike a sticky big goose egg and they this miami angry they just love to use multiple use. Durham smile you see them. Carter used the rookie at boston. College hunter long. So i'm really not wanting to start mica. Seki not gonna start tossing knox either. Let's move onto the houston and cleveland game now. This is a huge implied point. Total for the cleveland browns thirty and a half the over under a forty eight or thirteen point favorites. The texans one at home against jacksonville but this should just be a slaughtering for the cleveland browns. Mostly because the browns who just lost the game at arrowhead played really well in that game and just made a couple of mistakes down the stretch on the offensive side of the ball against the houston. Texans that didn't look that great against jacksonville. Jacksonville just really really sucks. So i think. Nick chub and kareem hunt are going to have huge games have hunt ranked as my running back seventeen right now just in front of miles gasping. Because i believe he's probably gonna see a lot of fourth quarter carries in garbage time. Hopefully it's not too ridiculous to where the cleveland browns end up putting in players like de ernest johnson baker mayfield as a quarterback that you can start in two quarterback leagues. I mean you hope that. The browns throw a couple touchdowns early in this game before they start bleeding. The clock out. Because it's a bunch of rushing touchdowns early. His game may not be as fruitful in terms of fantasy points. But right now we have him ranked as the fourteenth quarterback. He's not going to have odell beckham junior anthony schwartz. An impressive rookie is also dealing with an injury. Right now. it schwartz. Mrs this game. Actually kinda think donovan. People's jones in a deeper receiver type of league becomes an interesting option. Yeah you only had one target one. Catch four yards last week. but it wasn't involved. He ran routes on eighty two point. One percent of the dropbox for baker. Mayfield and without schwartz. Without odell beckham. Junior i think his involvement is going to be increased. Along with jarvis. Landry is going to be the texans focal point. And also austin hooper. So i think all those guys could be in play. Schwartz ends up missing this game and as for the houston side. I'm not really looking to start. Anybody not gonna start mark ingram but brandin cooks somebody. I think in three receiver leagues that can definitely be considered had targets. Call five of them for one. Hundred thirty two yards is probably going to get the renzo ward treatment which is not something you necessarily wanna see but outside of brandon cook. I'm not really considering anybody. And if i mean if it's deep tight end league and tight and preeminently. I guess you can consider pharaoh brownie at five targets called for sixty seven yards gigantic man. He's questionable with an ankle and shoulder injury heading into this game that you would want to monitor that. But that's if you're just really really really desperate cleveland's defense is an awesome start here. Cincinnati and chicago. We have the bengals coming off the win. Beating defeating the minnesota vikings now have to travel to the chicago bears where the bears are favored in this game by two and a half points with an implied point total of twenty three and a half the over under is forty five so it's not the sexiest of games i would say you're not gonna star. Andy dalton he can get benched at any minute for justin feels. I think joe barreau with you have him probably going to be rolling with him to quarterback leagues more specifically. I have as my quarterback sixteen right now just behind teddy bridgewater to be honest. Who looked phenomenal. The new york giants as most of you who are listening to this are aware of unfortunately so. I think there are better quarterbacks. That could be around. A single quarterback leagues ten leagues in a quarterback leagues. But still you have joe borough. You hope they throw the football a little bit more because last week. They didn't throw the ball that much. She was really efficient. Was twenty of twenty seven for two hundred sixty one yards two touchdowns you'll love to see it but that game planning. It's minnesota ran through. Joe mixing and i think the game plan again is going to run through joe. Mixon short passes though as well. 'cause mixed had for targets cau- four for twenty yards. That's very very important. You're firing up mixing in his game. You're firing david montgomery. Who looked excellent. On sunday night. Football sixteen carries for one hundred yards against a very very good los angeles rams defense. And if you're very very desperate in a very very deep deep leagues i think damian williams is somebody that you can add because if something were to happen to david montgomery williams would assume that role to cohen is out right now in chicago. Really have much behind damian williams other than khalil. Herbert the rookie at virginia tech. But david williams. Not somebody you're going to be starting in this game. Why receivers allen robinson. Firing up t- higgins tamar chase tyler boyd firing up and i honestly think darnell mooney is a player that you can fire up right now is questionable with a back injury..

"Even having served how bad it was receiving they needed any yard. They could get so next. Best thing to the having someone on the field is pretending you have someone out the field and the dolphins. I guess that that's awesome. Made all those teams go back and watch that arizona game because that was that was one him into started getting that report. You know the chemistry so you know the all. Those teams are game plan from the unicorn. Whatever it is so. I'm not going to put too much stock in nose day to day thing because again that look like a significant injury like you said once that car comes out you know that's normally game over but this is definitely a lot better news than what we thought you know a couple of days ago. Jake yeah and it seems like you know. I'm not going to say we're going to move on. I'm not gonna stay anything else. We're going to go on there. It's good to see hunter. Long won't be out to on josh. We also heard some interesting news about saturday's game. Can you believe it just weird. Just a couple of days away from the miami dolphins hitting the field for their first football game of twenty twenty one and that is to is going to play that for the miami dolphins. Josh and i had to sit there and think for myself how this preseason really gonna look you have to keep in mind. Those three preseason games instead of there being the usual four so just read surprised when you heard that too is gonna play. I mean we don't really know how long it take some stamps on saturday. So i really wasn't. I think you know. I'm looking at matinees comments. I think he said that. His starters play eight to ten snaps. I mean that's a little bit of a different situation. They obviously want to get the young quarterback justin field. You know more opportunities reps. But i think we can kind of maybe expect something similar to no eight to ten snaps you know. Maybe that i drive. Maybe they do utilize this as you know what. We typically expect from that first. Preseason game but Jake again. This is the uncertainty surrounding this. Two thousand twenty one season and just the fact that we're going to be able to see two out there you know throw in the rocky to sling net around. I mean. I think we're all excited for that any day. We get the opportunity and jacob. Practice was any indication. No that bears defense. That does sound like you know to jalen waddell. Some of those other matchups in you know they're really connecting out there and you just hope we get to see some of that in the first preseason game and that hopefully trickles into the two thousand twenty one regular season as well josh. I gotta be honest. I think i think you're going to have to hold me back because i still remember. Bill lasers first preseason game and featured brandon gibson. I in motion going to laugh deficit. Dolphins offense so looking back in hindsight. Don't let me do that again. Are thinking i don't want to do that again. I i was just so clouded over the idea of not understanding the difference between go go go. I thought just a little present. Motion was revolutionary. Idea office side of the football yet go go off with certainly you know just revolutionary but jacob. It makes you it makes you wonder because remember myself you know some dolphin fans. We were all super soaked just that basic video of jalen wallo from what a week ago where he's coming in motion gutting create separation coming across the defense. So you know to your point. We all need to temper expectations. But i think we feel a lot better than those billy's days. Oh you're one hundred percent right so let's get into it Some notes from the actual crack is here. Most of the things we had inter berry jackson. joke shad two guys gotta follow. You got to go subscribe support. Local news All that fun stuff. So you mentioned a josh stuck there with the big fish. I it seems like that. The defensive lines on both sides. The ball had strong performances. And josh with the miami dolphins their offensive line. I think it's safe to say it was not fixed. This offseason no wasn't jake. And i think again we go back that me dispute with some dolphins twitter. You know we all kind of came together and defended the offensive line. But you're absolutely right now than they did. Let's be we did. And just because you know this offensive line looks better and it's younger more promising than what we come to accustomed to doesn't mean it's better and i think we're starting to see that you know. I joked you know some people. Say michael is the starting center. There is that a good thing. Is that good that he's beating out matt scott. I don't know if that's a good thing. Because if any if the previous years are any indication if they could tweet at practice and we would know if they can tweet a practice chefs right but the biggest news. Jake and you lou to it and i did as well as solomon kinley took over for liam aiken berg. It sounded like he was more of him. Just being demoted. you know. Maybe they've got the guy in there. That started thirteen games gun. We gave away his jersey. We were huge fan of the big fish but he got some first team. Looks there but to your point. This was a huge match. This was kind of what made me excited. And something. I really wanna talk about previously. Was you know. Just how it offense along with. Matchup against khalil. Max and the robert quiz and i think we all remember our quinn and we robert quit and he knows some of those other players upfront there so you know the the chicago bears of a damn good defense so to hear some of these things that we're hearing early on in camp again sound like the offensive line up and down day but you know to was hitting waddell and stride you know it sounded like there were some different things happening on the defensive side and talk about japan holland to a blue in the face but those are the types of things that you hear in honestly solemn. Mckinley takes over that starting job beats out liam bringing holds onto that. Is that really a bad thing. I mean we all had high hopes for solomon killer last year. you know. A lot of people are down on lake enberg right now because he is You know was pencil. Starting guard so i don't know what we can take out of this but You just really want to see one of these young guys whether it's killing whether it's like enberg no matter who it is used wants to take over that spot and you know four jet rowland and say you know you're not taking this from young starter pencil me and they're put me a mark on day one because i'm going out there now. Maybe that's starting guard so we'll see kinley can hold onto that we'll see i can burn bounces back but you know at first. I think some people thought it might have been injury. It does sound like burr got demoted for the big fish. Thanks to t mobile for supporting this episode for keeping.

"Mobile dot com and josh kind of mentioned it a couple of times here but the dolphins are finishing up their padded practices before they prepared to take a trip to chicago. Do a couple of practices with the bears and those are going to be exciting to say the least But with monday and tuesday. I believe both of them. Being off days this sunday practice is going to be the last little bit of information we receive until the dolphins make bad trip. So some of the more notable things we have to go back to the wide receivers because that seems to be the tightest most appealing competition. The dolphins have going. I and isaiah ford kirk mare and duquesne grant. Were all catching passes from two. On sunday josh. I think that's maybe the most frustrating thing about some unlike devante parker not being on the field. Someone like willful or not being on the field is not knowing exactly where these guys lined up the depth chart. Because i want to start with this josh. Do you think that devante parker and press or preston williams would either them not be in the starting lineup If opening day was next week. That's a good question. I mean i think press the williams would probably find that uphill battle. But i think you're right devante parker he would absolutely be you know solidified in there. Is that starting receiver but jake to your point. I mean does this. Not just i don't know about you. I'm trying not to fall into the same isaiah ford trap and education grant chat so every year. Because i mean i was i was one i liked isaiah ford in college and you know every time. He's cut brought back for gang gang. Whatever but he's out there making plays and again. We talked about that number twenty jersey. But how much this is. Just camp collins go up sky over top of byron jones. I don't know if you saw that ended it with a dunk. So i mean these are the type of things that i hope it's good to see and camper. It's bad you know. Mccown sky over byron jones. Your huge free agent acquisition. I mean i don't know jake but it's again iron sharpens iron. I guess yeah and you have to wonder. We haven't heard the elder wilson hypoc course. It could just be a couple days in these players working with jacoby presented the second team But i mean even foster wilson hearns. 'bout in junior these are guys. We haven't heard a lot about albert. Excuse me fuller was standing out there today. In sunday's practice. According to bear jackson of the miami herald he didn't have a sleeve or cast or anything covering his legs. So that suggested nothing serious and then moving on elder wilson was out of uniform on sunday with a compression sleeve on his leg but observing and not limping again. From barry jackson and devante parker was in red non contact jersey. So i don't really know what to make of this receiving core rate now josh. Because i don't know if kirk merit is really going to be someone who is going to be pushing for these roster spots despite you know here. We are on august eighth. And he's practicing with the. I don't know how much this is just again. The dolphins being extra cautious again. They're traveling they're basically going to have a scrimmage no these next two practices with the bears and then they go into that preseason games they don't know how much of this is just sitting some your starters but you mentioned we'll fall in the ceylon jake and he was at big signing this all season a lot of dolphin fans had high hopes for him. You don't really want to see that but then next to him was also jalen phillips. So i i kinda wanna talk about this jake like those were to play playmakers. They brought in not only on offense and then defense that they expected. You know to go out there and be able to make plays immediately. This team obviously not will fuller given his suspension but when he was brought in you know they signed him to that contract he was brought in to be opposite of devante. Parker bring that added element brunette speed. So when you see a player a first round pick like jalen phillips. I gotta dolphins drafted. We can get into what that means. They could've went najah hairs. They could want a whole different route there but the that he's on a silent on silent does that give you any reason to be concerned heading into the first week of preseason. I'm gonna go ahead and say i don't think it does josh. It's a slow process. I mean we're going to go back to the thing where we're talking about the madden rosters. Right if you were to launch mad today on opening day and compare that to the first day of the regular season i mean the roster is night and day how different they may look despite. You're not playing it one regular season game and you know willful is not even gonna be there for that first game. I think jalen phillips is someone you want to see him play short-term sure you wanna see him out there in practice. Be you know that guy that we read all the tweets about right. That's kind of why. The dolphins drafted this guy. He was the tweet guy you know at this workout. He looked incredible. Yada yada yada that type of stuff and you know. I'm definitely devaluing. How good he is a player because he's a very talented athlete here. But i think it's okay to be a little slower with these guys. I think we will see phillips out there come the second and third preseason games but we have to keep in mind to josh. It's a little bit of a different approach this year with there only being three preseason games. Yeah i completely agree with you. Jake and i think that's kind of the whole point. I was trying to get at. But you know i guess if it gets in preseason week two and three then we can start to get a little concern. Just read off a couple more of the tweets. You have here. I mean if if you guys are not falling travis. Wingfield the miami dolphins. You know i want to say he's their beat writer right wingfield. Nfl follow him. Because i mean he is literally giving you play by play analysis of training camp and again a lot of us join twitter for this very reason but he has to a double clutched on a quick slant fires row gets a hand on scheme grant catches affliction with one hand. We heard some of the other big plays going on at camp today. I believe jalen wall. You know everyone's saying what's up with a limp because you know you keep hearing. He's limping around. He's going out there. Making explosive plays but jake the biggest news that we had today in something that i don't even think we talked about yet but hunter along the miami dolphins rookie tight end was carved off the field. Today i know we talked about what that meant Drafting him what that meant. Maybe for the future of mike is sticky. But now when you look at that tight end unit when you saw it. It was a lot stronger than it was year ago. Losing hunter is a pretty big blown. It did sound like a serious injury. Unfortunately for the rookie tight end yet josh. One hundred percent rate in the car is usually the The you know the that's kind of a sign that he's gonna miss a lot of time but josh training camp. Maybe they're being safe. Maybe there's an opportunity he can come back and it's more of a scared or anything else but we can't really get an idea on that. I'm sure we'll talk about it after practice. Josh you have to think though that tight end was a big part of miami's game plan. And i don't think that's going to change too much going into the season. A tool has been connecting with durham. Smyth and adam shaheen a lot especially this weekend And we'll see seki start to get more involved as we start to get closer and closer again to opening week but josh i think you know hunter long with someone who i thought was going to have an interesting for the dolphins..

"Michael was going to lean on some and have those three pieces. Not in place that's unreal. I mean obviously real life versity with his passing but also just football adversity. With with zach wilson. Who should trade for shawn watson and when is when is when you are one hundred percent sure of what is going to happen with the off the field allegations. I don't think you can be ninety percent. I think he'd rather be late to this party. Then early Because what the allegations are real real stuff right. So i think you've gotta be really confident in the information that you get whether it's your your own people and what's going to happen or word from the nfl. I think the teams that are attached to him or the to players. Whether it's philadelphia or miami you know both had the capital to do so going into next year's draft both. Have you know somewhat question mark at the quarterback position. I think jalen hurts is a guy that we've only seen get better over the last four years. We've watched him play football. Whether it was at bama oklahoma or last year. And i i love the kids. And i love his attitude will he continued your progress good enough to be a thrower and then for miami they. This is a huge year for two off whether it's expedited or not. It's huge. I mean they spent four picks or three picks on their offensive line and last year's draft. Those guys are going to be much better performance wise this year and then those still position players. They've got four guys that are good players man five days. Parker is a good player. Wattle is going to be an impactful guy You know will fuller. When he's healthy can go in those two tight ends. He's phenomenal and hunter long at boston. College really really good player. So i think they got some really good scopus as you guys got to go and play really good football dinner. Lobski of the mothership. This saturday. "The best quarterback in football is going to be on the roster so here we go Liam aiken burge joshua lee final guy to sign the team. All the rookies are under contract as teams undersung report. I have to say he was eating listed on the team's website yesterday So josh i mean where do you see can really complete competing for the dolphins. This year is going to be locked into that right. Tackle spy after the dolphins traded up eight spots to get him in the second round or consoling. Dj fluker really pushed for the position. Enforce i can to kind of duke it out for right guard position or even just with just davis there is as those backup blind because it does seem this year that the miami dolphins good to have a lot of depth on that offensive. Line something. we're not used to. yeah and some. We're not going to complain about. But i think you kind of touched where he's going to fit in. I think he might eventually become that right tackle. i think he's going to be the starter there knowing. The season begins but You know this is a battle. Everyone's going to have an equal opportunity to win that job. You know it's gonna be every we keep your versatility you know all these offense alarming can play all over the offensive line. So how it fits. I don't know. But i think i can put right now. Has the inside. Track right tackle. I think since last time we talked jake giovane holland and hunter long also signed their rookie deal so Good on the dolphins forgetting them altogether getting them in the building. Because you know today's the first day of school you know you're getting your no pets getting used to your school major classmates things like that tomorrow. You know they'll go out there and do some of that work on the field and to have all these guys. All these rookies under contract. That's a good thing and like you mentioned it's never bad. Have too much on the offensive line. And try to figure out where i can bergh's gonna play and if davis is going to start you know whereas kinley going to go. I mean it's a good situation to be in if you're the dolphins there's a lot of talent in the trenches so now i mean you kind of hit on with howard. The big key is with him with any player is to get the most games as possible. also very physical sports. So there's no promises that any of these guys are gonna play sixteen games so now josh the goal for the preseason the goal training camp above anything else is to stay healthy. So we're gonna take a quick break out on the other side. We're going to talk about a dolphins wide receiver who is starting training camp on the physically unable to perform list so stay tuned for that. We will catch.

"This one comes from hating Yas who wants to know who's the small school prospect? You were genuinely happy to see draft. There are no Richmond spiders that was disappointed. But Dylan rate Radonski offensive lineman from from North Dakota State, Everyone you know, talked about Trey Lance the same program and he was the number three overall pick. But Reagan's just watching tape of him and the way he plays a physical. He was to see him come off the board in the second round. Um, I was just like the guy on tape. How are you? Mom tell you, Mike Strong. The wide receiver 65 to 25 from Charleston, You know, certainly put up the numbers. He's like that tremendous talent incised seventh round for the Colts will see how we could do And then Rams got a couple guys. Robert Rochelle elect him at Central Arkansas. He's added, Wait up. Hey, can't a guy even trade Last trade glances even go after him in that central Arkansas North Dakota State game on then they go Sagat. Chris Garrett from Concordia Pass rusher late. So I thought some guys like that, you know, certainly have you root for and you hope that they can settle in and get that opportunity. I'm really happy for a kid. I said this on draft day, time and field off your first perseverance. A kid who had some injuries at Damascus High School, Maryland, Terrapins, Jake Funk and, you know, Todd, you like Jake Funk at Maryland right back Who's got guts and determination battle. Mel likes the funk. Yeah, my favorite players he's ever coached this Jake Funk for Jake Funk to try to stick with that grandstand. If he doesn't there will make it somewhere. Right. The squad, perhaps the very least from my phone. Next one comes from soup to Luke Alex Campbell, and I'll start with you. Mel does this trap make the Miami Dolphins Super Bowl contenders? It makes him a heckler got a much better team. I'll tell you that a lot better to him than there were in that. That's again building a roster that improves and building a watch where they can get to a Super Bowl. So why'd you go through? Although I don't I wouldn't sit here about it. We were in organization. You and I, and it would be a lot of battles taking place, whatever pretty good for faulty, But I'd like to think so. We would be sitting there saying what we doing to try to get to a Super Bowl? What? How are we gonna construct this team? That's what it's all about. For Miami. The film needs and set themselves up with 2023 1st. And I said all along, opt out should not be penalized, and I know it's hard not to. But these were decisions made from medical standpoint business standpoint, you have. The year was so interrupted and so crazy that And so tragic that these players and some didn't even play their potential because of that, so that were shot Bacon Great pick to the Baltimore Ravens, but to get a job on how and in the second round to me. I got it Could have been a first round or definitely had he played then get. I think I think they've got five starters in the first three rounds. Jalen Jalen Waddle. Jalen Phillips, the defensive end Howland. You just mentioned it. Safety Liam Aiken. Bird's gonna be a starter, a tackle Worst case card and Hunter long at the tight end position from BC. Yeah. I mean, it's gonna be a great thing about Buffalo with Josh Glory set because they got a superstar quarterback, and they got a GM that helps the quarterback and builds a roster along with the head coach Sean McDermott. But also the Jets Now with Zach and then the two up, and certainly New England now with Kim and Mac and getting dots AI Tower back who opted out their centerpiece of their defense. They are going to be a team to watch that there's gonna be a really competitive division. Yeah. Yeah, I can't wait to see how the FCS quarterback Ray stacks up. Obviously it's Josh Allen is the guy in that division, but the other three teams with major investments of the quarterbacks, But I will end on this one. And just for a little bit of fun. This one comes from over the love of God. Mel, You're slipping. No Mach 2022 draft out already. It's not out so usually after tied. I always just thought the respect he deserves, and it comes out with his first round. That's why you do it. I don't do a first round mocked for next year. Todd That's a tradition with us. He doesn't like the new draft grades. Okay, so I'm forced to do draft race here. Here's the back story. I'll peel the curtain back a little. I was told 15 years ago basically is part of my contract. You can either do direct draft grades or a mock draft. And I said, How about neither? And then I got to look like, Well, you're probably not gonna get a contract then. So I decided to go the mock draft. I don't know. Which is the worst of the two evils. I don't like either at all, but you got to do it. You got to do it and I got some names for you. Ready? Derek Stingley Corner. Alice, you sam Owl? Quarterback from North Carolina. Cavon Thibodeaux from from Oregon. Spencer Rattler, the quarterback from Oklahoma. So those air four guys you could expect to see in the top 10 very likely. You're very calm or not. Because you got a 30 need this. I need this podcast. And so I can go do it Do in the end of the day E got 75 names tired of guys I could see you could choose from some of my 75. But I'm gonna have I'm gonna have a top 25 Big board Top 10 positional rankings coming out in a couple weeks on ESPN dot com Thursday. Kat's got is my one point over 2022 coming out and a couple other names by the way. You mentioned rapper? You think about it Every Neal, Alabama, Right tackle moving the left tackle. Replace Alex Leatherwood. Darrington, Our right tackle. Conducting moving the left tackle. Replace landing Young. Great A little around. Linebacker Christian Harrison. Alabama could pass rusher Oklahoma. Here we go here. You know, I've always I'm actually do you come up with I can't wait to read that Mom, That would be a way. I'm sure Tom, You're just thrilled about that assignment. Well, that's all we have for today Show and for this season of the first draft podcast, I just want to take 30 seconds to thank both of you for being so kind and gracious and allowed me to be a part of this podcast. I say it all the time. But what stands out to me amongst everything you guys do is your passion for the NFL draft. It is unmatched is unparalleled in the inside that you guys have on day three. We were talking about guys who didn't even start like Division three schools and you've got Their high school's bats, and they're scouting report and you know they're cousins first name. It's simply unbelievable. Thank you, both of you for an incredible season, and it was a great great honor to be a small part of the show. Appreciate. You feel ashamed to feel great job. And this is David President. You were awesome. This year. All the guys behind that make this thing happen. Thank you. Then they put an enormous amount of work and preparation to make this easy for all of us. So but Daniel David, Great job, everybody behind the scenes I didn't mention. Uh, We appreciate everything you do. This was a fun year all the way around to try toe make this thing but it really, I think in a week to week basis, whereas I think I think field if I didn't get the monkey jumping some point. Yeah, we're gonna start In this pretty early and roll all the way through the entire year, so not just draft I'm dressed. Time is basically and months it goes. My opinion goes all this first until June, 1st and June in July. We'll take a little break. Don't call me in July watching players because I do that work in June and July to get a head start of the season while vacationing during the weekends during college football. Walking the sidelines waiting was always supporters understand, sir, say. He hates hearing, but they do it while he's doing all that on your back riding away, grinding away grinding away. I'll tell you what, guys. A lot of good players went on draft and they've already signed with respective teams there. You kind of your 8th and 9th round picks, and some of those guys could be in camp and and helping things this year. The national football it hanging in good. I told type of the story yesterday. So my parents both worked for Delta. Right Growing up. I've been flying on planes since I was like 89 months old. I've never been able to sleep on a plane ever. I so we I'm flying from Cleveland to Boston, and I got a tap on the shoulder. It's a flight attendant, and he says it's time to go. You got to grab your bag and go. Ah $100 seats heated and one that was my safe. One veterinarian 150. People had passed by that I slept through the whole thing and I look around and there were people with You know the cleaning through the trash bags cleaning everything up on the roof. This is embarrassing. Isn't it? Lucky that no one had somewhere else to take you out to take it. Oh, yeah. Good One wound up in Germany. That is amazing. Well, it's certainly well earned, and the content has not stopped. The draft is over. I know Mel astonish draft great artist on his biggest question, Mark, You mentioned that ties doing his 2022 mock draft, which comes out on Thursday mail. You're working on your big Board. The draft really is a 365 days a year event, but we don't want to let this draft that just went behind us passed by without taking at least one more bite of the Apple to review some of the picks that were made some of the strategies involved by teams and maybe those that we felt like fair, stronger than others. So we're going to start in reviewing this draft by starting with teams that we thought How to stand out draft knocked out of the park. So, Mel, I'll give you the first pick. It was a team that knock knock this draft out of the park. A two ways the Miami Dolphins are so it had a great trance. I don't do they get players to help on both sides of all. We got 2023 1st round pick from the 40 Niners, but Jalen Waddle Jalen Phillips should be impact performers of pass rusher and Phillips and a receiver. Return Man. Put returner and Waddle Jamaan, Holland Liam like the bird hunter long that second tight end Barnell Coleman at huge book an underrated attack while you mask They did really well in the Chargers, I thought lined it up. They sat. They waited for Slater to be there. He was a 13 Asante Samuel, junior cornerback from Florida State line. The more underrated players goes that 47. Then they get guys like Chris Rough. A good pass rusher in the fourth round. I like Brendan. Hi. Mrs. Potential in Nebraska know about the Senior Bowl practice. I went back. It's those the tape in the brass, Katie. He held up very well. There was the Cornhuskers Roundtree running back in the sixth around. Nice pick there. So I gave the Chargers and the Dolphins of two highest phrase in the Giants. Kind of amended that Came up the B Plus should have given him a day They moved down twice. They got a first round pick next year from Chicago. They got social or in a second to various Tony and the first added some real good players along the way. So I'd say that the Dolphins Chargers giants in that order for May. I was just saying that comes to mind for you. I was just to say quickly. Gettleman. Dave Gettleman. The GM of the Giants has never traded down before And so he kind of went against the grain and move down twice, and I thought it over. Really successful draft. I'll start with the other New York team. The Jets. I thought Joe Douglas did a tremendous job and listen. He deconstructed the roster and get got all this. This draft capital on 20 picks over to your span so that he can maneuver around. He's not going to spend all 20 text, but it's just figuring out the guys that he wants. Obviously sitting in number two They love Zack Wilson, the quarterback from BYU. He knew that he wanted to go up and get Elijah Vera Tucker, the offensive tackle in college, who's gonna kick inside the guard from jets to put.

"1000, including Sox games for the Chicago Land area. Welcome in what is the final edition of the first draft podcast for this season, and before us a load of Mel and Todd. I'm gonna give them like five extra seconds to catch up. On some sleep and say Thank you, everybody who has spent time listening to us over the last handful of months, plus the people that I'll make this podcast possible. Mike Boss Matt Up for David Presley helped bring this podcast to life through video, Daniel dot our intrepid producer and all those involved with the audio product. It was a banner year for us, and it was a banner year again for Mel Kiper Jr and Todd McShay. Mel, How are you doing after the draft? Have you slept more than like six or seven hours per night? Since then, a little less like that night. I was like that survival. This is our kind of our bear Grylls moment, throw us out there and see if we could come back and still stand today. After a couple days after the draft and we're still standing. We're so excited. Todd Scott is mock draft for next year coming out Thursday. I've already got some guys raided that I got a big board coming out in two weeks for next year's dress up this one of being a real view mirror will move on. The next year pretty soon, But today we'll kind of review everything and come up with some some ideas about who we think did well, some surprising, puzzling moves and wrap up the dress. I'll tell you what guys. A lot of good players went undrafted. And they've already signed with respective teams there, You kind of know, 8th and 9th round fixed, and some of those guys could be in camp and helping things this year. The National Football League having hanging in e. I told type of the story yesterday, So my parents both worked for Delta. Right Growing up. I've been flying. Plane since I was like, 89 months old. Then they get guys like Chris run for good pass rusher in the fourth round. I like Brendan. Hi. Mrs. Potential in Nebraska know about the Senior Bowl practice. I went back. Tucker, the offensive tackle in college, who's gonna kick inside the guards jets to protect the quarterback? They want to do. With Wilson what the previous regime never really was able to do with Sam Donald and that's protect him and put weapons around them, so they utilize a little bit of that draft capital to move up. Sure, I think it was 18 overall to get Elijah. Very Tucker was a 14. Okay, 14, and then and then early in the second round, they sometimes lucky you got you got to be lucky to be good..

"That's gonna set to up in better field position than North and normally would be the case. And shale in school so they can stay healthy because in the real good pass rusher and Jovon hound, That's the think when he was said during the trip. Don't sleep on the guy's adopted out. Don't forget about how great they were in 2019 or 2018 and Schumann. How on both those years was intercepted passes and wreaking havoc all over the field with great versatility. Liam Aiken, bergs around will not be left tackle of your right tackle regard they got the two tight end situation so well. Carpets would make sense, right? If he went there. How do you go on their early? Well, he wasn't available. So you could hunter long in the third on the things they were near carpet, But they like that too. Tight ends. Now you have to sic e and long and learn. L. Coleman is a huge veteran book. And I think he was a steel in the seventh round. So you know they did really? Well, Miami, they set themselves up for future draft. So yeah, I think there they were on the cusp. Close. This may put them over the top. You turned me on to Hunter Long about a month ago. Hunter Long is the tight end out of Boston College who actually caught more passes than Kyle pitch did this year and I had been locked in Mel on Pat Farm Youth as the number two tight end in the class. And I think that is the way it actually wind up going. But you were telling me for the longest time you thought long was actually I want to put words in your mouth. I got the impression you thought he was the second best tight end in the whole thing. Right there with fried news coming off the shoulder Prime. He's got a clean bill of health that Zach, I could solid choice for Pittsburgh for the Steelers, where they got him. But hunter along that not be right there with friendly fire. Me 20 5500 long went 81. So that's a pretty good gap there. And I think for Miami who needs the too tight end situation likes to have that and one thing long can do is block And he does have deceptive speed. He's not a guy is not going to really be real explosive, but he ran really well for 253 155 pounder under 46. So yeah, I think he's the kind of kid productive player just happily raved about Hunter long. So, yeah, I think Miami I think it's gonna be really interesting with Miami and the jet. Right on their heels of Buffalo and New England. I'm going to go away, You know that there was opt outs back Dante High powered titles the centerpiece of the defense's back. That's the vision that a F C East there's going to be in the future years. It's gonna be really exciting. But Mack Jones in there now, with two, uh and with Herbert, Mixing me with with the situation up in with Josh Allen emerging is a superstar yet Herbert in the A F C as well with Lamar and Baker. And the homes. And are you imagine that I have a secret? I don't know how you deal with all that. If your defense of the a F C is just loaded with great done, Quarterback, Good young course A good point. You know, As you were saying, I was sort of thinking it through. And you're right. They are overwhelmed, overloaded. Whatever the word is with with a lot of great young quarterbacks quickly on the other side, Mel, which two years for those who have not seen your grades, which teams left? You scratching your head. I think that I would say scratch making this viewers didn't wow. Me, Greenie a nationally, Harris is a good running back. I'm not gonna get in that whole pays a good player. Friar moves a nice tight and after that they got guys versatile Kendrick Green, but it didn't Wow. Me. Quincy Rochet could be a good six that we can maximize what we saw you in the police. It ranks at both the temple in Miami will run into serious resistance. Not being super gifted and New Orleans when an Indianapolis in New Orleans were just okay. Nothing special there, But I don't think anybody had one of those drafts greens. That boy that's a B or C minus. I gave nothing but C pluses or above. I thought everybody did excuse, considering a covert year with limited knowledge. Limited resource is no combine. I thought everybody handled it well, there's gonna be some really good, undrafted free agents out there for teams assigned now and bring in the campus. What would have been a 3rd 9th round picks? And then finally melt because no, no told me that he chatted with you before you came on the air here, and I just want to throw a thought that I had it you because everyone talked about how well there were no quarterbacks in next year's draft. One of the reasons teams were so eager to get quarterbacks. Is that there aren't any that are the only one that is projected to be, You know, a solid first round pick for next year. And my response to that routinely has been ah, year ago today. No one would have said Zach Wilson or Mack Jones. We're going to be first round picks in this draft. And there we were both taken in the first half of round one. So I am the same would've been said about Borough the year before, And he was number one. And Cuyler Murray the year before that, and he was number one. So what I'm saying is there are going to be those guys, right? I mean, people are going to wind up. It will be quarterbacks that are gonna wind up being in this. We're gonna be having this exact conversation about two new people next year. We just don't know who they are. That's exactly right. And Tyler shock from Texas Tech, formally of Oregon, you know could be a talented kid. We emerges. You never know Jakey Daniel's down the second year of Georgia for only of USC. Jaden Daniel's Herm Edwards loves out of Arizona State. And, yes, Sam how in North Carolina and the Rattler Spencer Rattler in Oklahoma, who's the number one quarterback right now, and a lot of other ones out there? Jericho Big up in Boston College. Carson Strong, added Nobody. Yes, you're right. Granny took statements cheating Slovis that us There's a lot of quarterbacks. Some will come out up from nowhere. Some will emerge and I'm anxious to see the kid at Texas Tech is he's got the physicality of a quarterback and he's got the arm. So your rights will be fun to see what quarterbacks.

Kendrick Green Zach Wilson Josh Allen Liam Aiken 2018 Carson Strong Jaden Daniel Jakey Daniel Hunter Long Cuyler Murray Lamar 2019 Oklahoma Mack Jones Herbert L. Coleman Tyler Boston College Baker Harris

A little davis mill watched vary labor. Nobody washed very much. Yeah right right when we played thirteen games. I i'm not blown away by them. I i think. I i think what the texans did with. Both of their picks was just take the best available player that was on their board. And that's it and obviously they've got some quarterback things going on so it made sense to get davis mills but if tyrod stinks. Is this the week. One starter for the houston. Texans quarterback They also have ryan finley. Oh never mind. I would've gotten that one right. Yeah texan would say nope not all name. Somebody wasn't about the tight ends from dynasty standpoint. "It. I think Yeah, I would assume a Kansas City would have thought Obviously, they well, they did some of cat purposes, but they would have looked at and said the biggest thing they wanted to address was the offensive line. Mean that cut their starting tackles. They needed cap space. The tuning acquisition was a big deal for them. The trade is a huge pickup for them. Assuming Brown ends up getting an extension, So yeah, I think that their number one offseason target was apparently we need to redo our offensive line, so mission accomplished for them. Mm hmm. And everybody I thought maybe they have all their starters back. I'm trying to get there was a guy they lost on defense. I feel like we're forgetting somebody, but they might have all their starters back on the defensive side of the ball. So, yes, I believe the chief's addressed what they thought was their biggest need in the off season for the bills. What was their offseason about first and foremost? Keep the band together, and they did right. They kept their offensive lineman. The three key free agents they re signed and they swapped out Brown for Sanders and Brita comes in. So yes, I did to get better. Well, there there. There. How do I phrase this? Can you get there better by not losing free agents. They kept their guys. I mean, so that's that's a good thing. If not, they'd be scrambling and trying to fill holes at this point. I'd say they were already the best and they had a banged up offensive line and they improved it. Right. The bills or the chief? Yeah, Yeah, No, I'm talking about the bills Better. Well, the bills the bills. I don't know. It's hard to say they're better when it's basically Browne Sanders breed or whatever, but I think they're better because they kept their three key free agents and they didn't open him up. Any big holes in this offseason have to be well. They're better than the team. You thought they were going to be if they lost them any one of those guys, but they're the same team. That's why I said it's hard to phrase it that way. Because they brought back the guys They were already here to begin with. But I was anticipating somebody leaving. So will they be better? Just by bringing it all back? Yeah, I think they can be, yes. Yeah, I do. I think they can be better by bringing it all back. What's better look like you just he'll just beat the well, For one thing. The five guys on the offensive line who were supposed to be their starters and last year never played a single step together as a unit, Okay, But there's no guarantee they will this year, either. No injuries can happen. Absolutely. But I'm going to guess that they do have these guys together as opposed to last year. I think that would help. Maybe that helps the running game by that, as opposed to bringing in a different human being in the backfield. So, yeah, I think you can be better there. You know, the defense was a work in progress the first month month and a half of the season. Everybody's backs, baby. They'll be a new starting cornerback that I think that can help the defense coming out of the beginning of the season next season. So yeah, I think they could be better with bringing the guys back. Just by bringing the guys back. I've got one darling. Back to someone tweeted me. That's a big that's a big one stars. They're always biggest. You got always remind me that he's coming back. But yes, no, because that is that that is a big piece of the defensive line in the run defense and maybe pushing the pocket to get some pressure. The Chiefs have made big moves. The bills have not yet. No. Their biggest moves were keeping guys correct. Is that which is staying? I'm gonna I'm gonna keep treating that as staying the same and not being a big move. Sure, it's a big move to keep them when you thought you would lose them, But it is just a lateral move. Milano for Milano is the same player. Yeah. The chief says the chief have added pieces to get better at left tackle at guard with Tony as we mentioned The bills have not upgraded any position really any Unless you say Sanders is not yet over Brown, But Brown was hurt last year. He was a good player two years ago, That would be the only spot or you think Brita is a upgrade to the running back field in totality. Sure he's better than T. J Yeldon. I would think he's better than T J Yeldon. And whether not, he adds you. Hey, add something you didn't have or wouldn't have with single Terrian months? Yeah, I like Brita as a player. I'm glad they signed him. I think it's a nice move. I would wonder why he signed for the veteran minimum for one year. That to me tells me there are plenty of teams that didn't think the home run hitter. Power was still gonna be there, right? Wouldn't you think you get anything other than a veteran minimum for one year? Yeah, but I understand. I'm not trying to sound like I hate the bills here. I'm just annoying if if we're totally analyzing them against just for the purposes off the Chiefs and the bills who's had the the off season that has improved who they were more. I think the answer is the Chiefs. We're happy The bills were able to keep who they are. And you know the moves The bills made are for more than this season. Feliciano, Darryl Williams Matalon. Oh, they'll be on the team the year after this one, too, And maybe that off season the Chiefs lose a couple of pieces and The bills passed them by virtue of that. So you know, it's It's not like you signed everybody the one year contracts. I'm not trying to make that case. The bills made drug resetting Milano was great for multiple years, so it's a lateral move, but it's it keeps them really strong and a good position. For four more years. Yeah, actually, you know what I forgot? You know, in in terms of where with the Chief's knew what they wanted to do to improve. Where did the bills want to improve while they tried for pass rushers? I mean, they were in on JJ. What they ended up getting F Obinna. I don't know how old it is going to do, but clearly that was an area that is supposed to let's keep our own. Let's swap out. We're gonna lose Brown, who we, adding they did want to address pass rusher in free agency. They just missed out on the guy they were going after. And maybe they wanted to draft and maybe we'll miss out. Maybe they want. Ah, nothing like one of the names. We saw them connected to in free agency that we wondered about. I wonder if they wanted in on Johnny Smith or Hunter. Henry. What got priced out. What was that? There was a tight end I read about not not Friar moved. There was another Was the kid this kid from B? C? I don't know. If the bills they're going to draft a tight and hunter long right, I think is the kid from BC, not in the first round. But maybe that somebody who knows maybe that maybe they take. I don't think they're drafting a tight end on Day two, but it's one of the throw that name out there, and I think it's possible of discussion. Head Nayan Brevin Jordan out of Miami has an idea for that. Yeah, probably with you mentioned. Yeah, right. Who's Penn State Right anyway? Yeah, that's I read some really good stuff about long the other day, and I just put tight end in my head as a possibility. On day two. Uh, since No, they signed Hollister. But I mean, it's a one year deal, and I think they would be looking. They could be looking to add a good young, tight end there to upgrade the position. Eight all three old 5 50 to join us if the speculation is true. What if the Bills traded up to draft Travis ET en. You can share your opinion on that. Um, there you go, and we'll get some hopefully get some calls in on that, speaking of the draft saris, reading Twitter and trying to talk the same time. Speaking of the draft will have coverage Thursday. Friday..

"Our buddy from NFL draft Bible don't work for sports Illustrated these days as well. Here on CBS portrayed. All right. I know your attention was focused in Mobile, Alabama today at the senior ball. Um, some interesting guys names, guys who are gonna be taken certainly in the first round of the draft, but also a whole bunch of good guys. They're the real Arctic classman or decided to pass on it. One guy who went down to mobile and worked out all week and from what I understand look pretty good doing so but decided not to play in the game. With Dracula's the quarterback from Alabama who, you know, I've been a fan of all year and it really warmed up to and I haven't pretty highly rated going into the NFL draft. Give us what you heard about Mac in practice this week and Why did he pass on playing in the game today? Yeah. You know, I think he had a little bit of a wrist injury or something. Just wanted to rest up, but he did what he had to do, right? He went down there. He created a buzz. He performed well. We spoke to June Jones, the former NFL coach, he said. He's the number one quarterback in this year's draft, Trevor Laurence included, so there's a lot of love. Mack Jones. There's uh Looking like more of a consensus feeling that he is going to be a first round pick, and I think you know this quarterback class is pretty interested in the way it's shaping up. But when you talk about a pocket passer Again, somebody who will get the ball downfield. You know, June Jones kind of referencing his deep ball accuracy, And I do think Matt Jones probably throws the best meatball in this year's draft. And so you know, the problem is when it goes to the NFL, he's probably gonna be playing with the worst. Wide receiver class, that wide receiver group that he's had in quite some time. So you know how does that translate? But, you know, I think that Jones is the guy that you get him in the right situation. Maybe it's Pittsburgh one or two years behind a big band. And I think that really puts him in a situation to succeed. And so I do have some love for Mack Jones. I'm not a tie on him as you are, but I do think he can be a successful quarterback at the next level. Yeah, I would. Rank commits the starting quarterback behind Lawrence and Fields and ahead of guys like Wilson and Trey land, but that's just me, and we've got a lot to do. Coming up. A Zafar is evaluating before we get to the draft. All right, Who else before we get to today's game? Who else from either your own individual evaluation of the people that you talk to in the know? Was there anyone who absolutely shone through in the practices and did things that people had never seen before, had not been able to garner off in game tapes. And was there a group of guys who may be would have been better staying home this week, then heading down the mobility. It didn't quite work out the way that they were hoping it would. You know, I think right there at quarterback after Mack Jones, you're looking at a guy like he and book there's there's a lot of love down there. For him. More than people realize and in book may have kind of catapulted human into himself into that day to range. At the quarterback position, but From the skill position. How about Michael Carter, the North Carolina dynamo? I mean, this guy's just a slasher, a casher. He showed his explosion his first He's gonna probably be a top 100 selection when it's all said and done. Wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick, the Louisville wide receiver. I think he really helped boost his draft stock now, probably around two selections. So that's what the Senior Bowl platform is for a guy that Maybe with the day three guy coming in. Well, now he's looking like a day to selection, so he made himself some money. Cadaret Tony from Florida, probably the best player down there. Jody. I think he's probably a first round pick as well at the library fever. Position tight and Hunter Long comes in 85 Inch Wingspan and Boston College tight and I think now, after Kyle Pitts, who I think is a top 10 selection, I think Hunter Long is now the second tight end off the board, so he helped himself out. "Sports Illustrated these days is well here on CBS portrayed. All right. I know your attention was focused in Mobile, Alabama today at the senior ball. Um, some interesting guys names, guys who are gonna be taken certainly in the first round of the draft, but also a whole bunch of good guys. Did you really are the classman or decided to pass on it? One guy who went down to mobile and worked out all week and from what I understand look pretty good doing so but decided not to play in the game. With Dracula's the quarterback from Alabama who, you know, I've been a fan of all year and it really warmed up to and I haven't pretty highly rated going into the NFL draft. Give us what you heard about Mac in practice this week and Why did he pass on playing in the game today? Yeah. You know, I think he had a little bit of a wrist injury or something. Just wanted to rest up, but he did what he had to do, right? He went down there. He created a buzz. Conformed well, we spoke to June Jones, the former NFL coach, he said. He's the number one quarterback in this year's draft, Trevor Laurence included, so there's a lot of love. Mack Jones. There's uh Looking like more of a consensus feeling that he is going to be a first round pick, and I think you know this quarterback class pretty interested in the way it's shaping up, but we talked about a pocket passer. Again, somebody who will get the ball downfield. You know, June Jones kind of referencing his deep ball accuracy, And I do think Matt Jones probably throws the best keep bottle in this year's draft. And so you know, the problem is when it goes to the NFL, he's probably gonna be playing with the worst. Wide receiver class. That wide receiver group that he's had in quite some time. So you know how does that translate? But, you know, I think that Jones is the guy that you get him in the right situation. Maybe it's Pittsburgh. It one or two years behind a big Ben. And I think that really puts him in a situation to succeed. And so I do have some love for Mack Jones. I'm not an eye on him as you are, but I do think he can be a successful quarterback at the next level. Yeah, I would run commits the starting quarterback behind Lawrence and fields ahead of guys like Wilson and trey lamps, But that's just me, and we've got a lot to do. Coming up. A Zafar is evaluating before we get to the draft. All right, Who else before we get to today's game? Who else from either your own individual evaluation of the people that you talk to in the know? Was there anyone who absolutely shone through in the practices and did things that people had never seen before? Had not Been able to garner off in game tapes and was there a group of guys who may be would have been better staying home this week, then heading down the mobile, and it didn't quite work out the way that they were hoping it would. You know, I think right there at quarterback after Mack Jones, you're looking at a guy like he and books. There's there's a lot of love down there. For him. More than people realize and in book may have kind of catapulted human into himself into that day to range. At the quarterback position, but From the skill position. How about Michael Carter, the North Carolina dynamo? I mean, this guy's just a Flasher a casher. He showed his explosion his first He's gonna probably be a top 100 election when it's all said and done. Wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick, the Louisville wide receiver. I think he really helped boost his draft stock now, probably around two selections. So that's what the Senior Bowl platform is for a guy that Maybe with the day three guy coming in. Well, now he's looking like a day to selection. So he made himself some money. Cadaret Tony from former, probably the best player down there, Jody. "This season from his interior spot with a sack to start the second half, and Kurt Highness fighting back left to right across the pocket to go and get filled your Covic and remember Paul he injured. Covic had some words in that 3rd 2nd quarter, so he gave him some more words. The offensive lineman for BC, pushing her Highness back. It's the defensive. Expert native Happy to see the quarterback Pittsburgh native play action Covert drops back drops deep in your pocket throws to the near sideline, complete to the 40 yard line and out to the 41 1st time. We've called the name of Hunter Long leads all tight ends in the nation and receptions. That's his first catch. And it goes for 16 came far right over the hash all the way to the left by the numbers for filled. Your Covic on that route, caught the ball right in the soft spot of the Zone defense by Notre Dame. Consent now at 41 yard line. That's their own 41 yard, like Notre Dame Pass defense. Very good. In that first half round. We talked about your Covic finishing for 16 along with his first catch just a second ago and also say flowers, the top receiver, only two receptions in the first half. Jakovic, quick catch and release to the right fumble again too long, the ball knocked away. Not a fumble in complete. Drew Whyte was all over long and knock that away just as the ball got to work. Well, I'm gonna I'm gonna see if they would review this call because Hunter. Long caught the football made a football move. So maybe it's like last week that happened at Clemson short catch and release about a five yard out ground. Andrew. Why terrific coverage there. No review. Second down Send now from their own 41 13 48 left in the third quarter moving right toe laughter, Covic takes a deep drop throws to the far sideline of the 50 yard line under throws incomplete. "Of games going forward if they stay at that clip. And they'll be without one of the most consistent performers on the Interior D line today. Pro Bowl tackle Kenny Clarke will miss just his fifth game of his career after injury he suffered last week against Minnesota. Meanwhile, former Wolverine Rashan Gary continues to improve. Outside linebackers Coach Mike Smith says he got a lot of pressure on Kirk Cousins last week as he was stunning to the inside and even played a role on an interception kickoff for Lions Packers coming your way here in just a bit. Meanwhile, the Vikings are getting set to take on the cultist afternoon down in Indy, and they'll be without their starting right guard paddle flying the 30 year offensive linemen out of Ohio State was moved to write guard from center this year. And now has been placed on I R, which means he'll be sidelined for at least three weeks, But reports indicate he'll be out even longer than that, after it was revealed that he needs surgery on his thumb. Also out for this one will be rookie corner. Cameron Dancer was sore ribs. And that's a position well, they'll need some better production from especially after last week's beat down against Green Bay. We'll also need to generate more pressure in the trenches to Neil Hunters Long gone to Dallas, and he was one of the better pass rushers over the last couple of seasons. But they'll need to Seymour from guys like Janek and Doc way if they want to get to the quarterback. Kickoff of Ike's cold scheduled for one o'clock and to say the Bears fourth quarter comeback win against the Lions last week was surprising. That would just be a flat out understatement. Mitch Torbinski looked lost at points during that game. He was able to leave three touchdown drives in the last answer to push him to a win. Now, one of the guys that will need to continue to get open is Alan Robinson, The Detroit native had a decent day last week in his hometown. In front of no family or friends with five catches for 74 yards, But those targets may need to come, even Mohr and they may be in store because he seems to be a favorite target of Travis Keys. And on the defensive side of the ball. Look, it's very simple. Chicago's front seven is going to need to find a way to get even more pressure than they did last week. Kickoff for Bears Giants this afternoon from Soldier Field scheduled for one o'clock. That's this edition of exploring the North..

"And we're with Alan greenfield Allen before we go to final calls here. I'll let you finish. Your your reflections on the reflections. And whether it's an opening to other dimensions or other portals or what they may be. Yeah. It's it's absolutely can be. Of course, it isn't every time. It depends on the skill of the operator, but I had a room full of people with the doors closely guarded by people that were that I trust very much and the participants were not not well educated in these things if at all mostly not at all, and I did a major magical invocation at the time. I was the master of a lodge of the aforementioned great great order of antiquity so called and we were able to open up. Portal every time all thirty of the NO Qian ethers, and the the the person doing this crying was always able to see something, but not only that at certain points. We had things manifesting from whatever is on the other side of the portal, we had a shadow being that walked around the circle of people on the outside of them, and and disappeared, even though the doors were very closely tiles, so that there is one of them by me the other one by the lodge Tyler. So there was no question that somebody had walked in Underdown store, not part of the group one time when we were closing down the portal, which I always, you know, people are irresponsible about that. They'll open one, and then leave it open, and that's not a good idea. Closed it down all the lights in the entire neighborhood went out at once as stayed out for about half an hour. I checked with the local power company. They had no idea. What what the cause was? And they did not do anything to restore the life. They just came back on. We had people who were interested miles away who were able to detect things that were going on the long and short is. Yes. That kind of scrounging works. Very well. One should have a good deal of skill at opening that portal and closing it to in order to do that though. Let's go. Let's go to Barry in rock hill, South Carolina for it. Now. Hey, barry. Go ahead. Hi, George W what what a fascinating program tonight Allen. I can't wait to talk to you for a second. But let me tell you real quick, George, Gino, Sal. Body. I would call her my favorite screener, except if I did Tommy Dan Vami, he would and you would never get on again. You're right. But listen out, and you George I heard the pascagoula story amended a gun I can relate completely because I have a niche you lives in past. I mean, a of Florida, and he was one of those hunters long supply ships back and forth to the oil rigs out in the Gulf of Mexico. He had a friend new one of these guys they put in pascagoula fisherman's thing. And he said he absolutely believed, and he has seen a number of things out there in the Gulf in the middle of the night. And he wouldn't even talk about because nobody would believe. Oh, the west coast of Florida is just a treasure trove. If you if you want to see a UFO and don't wanna use the complicated, but useful methods that I have in the complete secret cipher knots, which tells you how to be where are you going to appear? All you have to do is hang around one of the towns in M I undercutting my own book. In the west coast of Florida in the panhandle, and you will sooner or later encounters, something very very strange. It's just an area that is kind of a beachhead as I refer to attack particularly around the Brooksville Florida area. Pensacola and Pensacola also has they that's where Eglin Air Force base is if I'm not mistaken. Are pretty close. And. Yeah, a lotta people knew these guys, I don't know anybody local around pascagoula or block c or any of those towns all of which were. Has not long before that been hit by hurricane Camille. So so this very tight knit communities. No, none no local people approached me and said anything negative about them. They were just first of all they were fishing. They were not fishermen. That's something that got into the press. But they were shipped shipyard workers and the shipping business at that time, commercial and military was a big thing in pascagoula comparable to that. Which you still have in northern Virginia which some of my family members participated as or participated, so yeah, that's uh. I'm not surprised that there are lots of sightings out in the Gulf because there's definitely cases around the around the shoreline. Okay. Let's go back to calls, Laura. Laura in Hollywood main east of the Rockies. Hi, laura. Go ahead. Yeah. Hi, george. Hi, allen. I had a few comments. Okay. We had talked about teaming. And from from what I understand God gave us three. Well, we chose to be bad. He would be hypocritical.
