Vanderbilt-Missouri is the first SEC game postponed due to COVID-19

"We welcome you back. Our is live and underway busy busy I our. Thirty minutes ago we learned that the first SEC game has been postponed of this twenty twenty campaign it will be. Rescheduled Vanderbilt Missouri scheduled for this Saturday in Columbia. Now, be December twelfth. We'll talk to coach drink in thirty minutes and get his reaction to that. So here we go more phone calls in a minute a lot of fans unhappy from every aspect of the winners and losers speaking of the latter. Let's talk about the Lsu Tigers two weeks ago Scott Rabble a came on. Wasn't ready to hit the panic button. Everything was calm. Scott's gotcha very scopes. Scott Seen It all before. Scott. Have you seen anything quite like the ending of Saturday's game? Good afternoon how are you? and got to the NFL Yeah that's that's you mentioned I'm kind of reminded of the and it's not a good time Lsu that ninety nine, Game Alabama when just food he tried to run the ball down like. John elway. Pin Wheeled in the air came up a yard short and and they you know they they threw the ball and the they did it. They didn't score. So yeah, it was. It was reminds me of you not good times for Lsu but you know. I gotta say the way lsu played Saturday. On defense but also on offense failing to convert a third down there really is kind of justice. They didn't really deserve to win that game I, mean they they you know they pulled it out and they would've pulled it out there. It would have been a win that covered up a lot of a lot of issues. So what? I don't know if it's safe to go outside I. Mean I know I know the version fortunately escaped the worst of the storm the other day was farther to the West but I mean what? What what is the buzz in your town especially both Pallini and and I mean three games in he seems like he's on the tip of everyone's tongue is it fair? Oh. Sure? Yeah. Absolutely. I mean this is the this is the defense that You know this change Dave Randall left defensor longtime defensive coordinator WHO's hard under? Les. Miles. You know the several years ago he left me the head coach at Baylor. So they had to hire someone like forced out or anything. So hopefully knew who was here under miles and those first three great years in the Mouse Oh, five Oh, six Oh, seven the end up with a national championship and you know just it hasn't worked at me. This questions is Bo behind the Times is not adjusted to those are some great defensive back then with Clinton Dorsey and Tyson Jackson and and you know you're a great players like that got a little on Landry secondary great players like that, and you kind of wonder you know the Adjusting but. It's just been Y- coaches you're on himself is trying to put it all on him and the coaches and they got a coach better. You said that, Saturday, after the game you set it on his press conference today, they just lost followed. They're they're good players on the Stevens, their high NFL draft pick on the defense Derek Stanley Jacoby Stevens to real cox the transfer for. North. Dakota. State people said he might have been a first round draft pick. Had He come? Out and said of transferring Ali Gay Defensive End they lost a lot of great players, but this shouldn't be this bad and aurons You know famously said, then the all season, the defense look better in practice than at any time last year, and obviously that is not the case and they gave up eight plays a twenty yards of more. Missouri averaged almost nine yards per play and five and a half yards per carry it and it just that's just not. That's just not winning football and worst of all they all she just looked. I saw gene gene Chizik said after the game. So you. Look, like on Defense Soft and lost, and Lsu looks like both unfortunately for them. By, the way everything you just got through saying you could replicate for three or four other SEC schools except none of them are the defending champions like Lsu. Scott we're three games in I. Mean we all know that and I'm not sure how much you can value. A. Win Over Vanderbilt Right now considering the state of that program. But as you look ahead I, mean you don't look any farther than this weekend against Florida. LSU will need to score seventy points to keep up with them. Immediate? Looks. That way and I'm not a betting Guy Pa, my government I think I've looked at the over maybe go for that Florida's defense looks pretty challenge to Alabama wins and gives up forty eight points to stole miss. But the the disturbing serving big frail issue. Yeah. Everyone's having trouble defensively No question. Do you wonder if that lack of spring football or the proper time to prepare in the off season has hurt them But you know you look at that once you give six, hundred, twenty, three guys and the Mississippi State, history has been dreadful offense against Arkansas and Kentucky the last two weeks Missouri scored like I think three touchdowns combined the first Games averaging like fifteen points a game against Alabama Tennessee and it just go wild lsu just look great. I mean that's that's the part. That's that's extra disturbing prelates pans and like the lsu fans always. Always wanted this offense obviously, they complained for years and rightly. So by the the plotting less miles offense, but there's a lot of pride in the school, the the the the billy cannon is the star up in you know and and now Joe Borough and players like that. But the tried is always been the defense, the Chinese bandits, Tommy Tests Inova Win Dorsey Laurent Landry mentioned, Patrick, Peterson, Taran Taran Matthew, and what else he doesn't play Great Defense I. Think this is this is like a core value of lsu's program that is not being being held a lived up to, and it's it's very troubling Tila lsu probably would take a little less offense for some better defensive as. Scott Realistically I mean this weekend looks like a long shot I would have to say I mean still Alabama. Out There Auburn out there. South, Carolina am I mean everyone knows the schedule? I mean before the season some might be hard to win them all but maybe maybe eight or nine. Where's the sliding scale right now? Ball I don't know it's sliding really. Really. Bad way down the hill. You know a lot of hills here in Baton Rouge but he found it. It's sledding Hill that way. Down Victory Hill Yes for the team marches down normally before the Games by Tigers stadium is not vitriol right now I I like everybody else said like the six games else who's GonNa win and four games where the season's going to be decided Alabama Auburn Florida and Texas a&M, and right now I don't think he can after South Carolina just banning by the same score Lsu did Arkansas has played. She's gotTa go to they'll South Carolina, comes here in in two weeks I don't I don't think. There's any Sherwin left for L. Share on the schedule I don't think they're gonNA go one nine but I think right now you just gotTa. Look at what can you do to have a have a winning season they're still good players There's on this team in town they lost a lot from last year obviously, but you know the they've got to. Change, the things coach today coach talk today about simplifying both offense and defense. Again remember the offense was Owen on third down Saturday that's a pretty bad step to although this court forty-one points should have been enough to win, but it's still some really great players on the House Brennan. Has Not Been, Joe Borough, been very good. You know he's had over three hundred yards passing game over four hundred yards Saturday tariffs, marshalls been tremendous hit two, hundred, thirty, five, yard service and three touchdowns Saturday. So this, this isn't good players in the team, but they just got to get tougher and and find a way to grind out a win somewhere and and this is not entirely similar fall I gotta say from twenty. Dissimilar from twenty seventeen she lost at home Detroit and went to Florida the next week and they won the game I'm not saying I'm not predicting she win. But this have the size, a lot of field of that when they kind of looked tougher and more determined and they found a way to win and they've never looked back games on order on, they're gonna be hard pressed to avoid doing that obviously late this week. He had I wouldn't call it a charm to existence because now that you mentioned the troy game and there had been some ups and downs but certainly coming off the best year ever how is he handling the defeats? A He's he's trying to take a lot of the blame on himself and deflected from his team Not exactly deflecting from the assistant coaches said, he's talked about, hey, on defensive we just have one coverage and one one formation. Let's do that. Let's and you said. Some things on offense too. I think he's kind of talking about Scott Lenihan, the new guy, a passing game coordinator WHO and Red Zone specialists who take the place of Joe Brady who who was on the staff last year and of course talking about Botha? Lenient? Coach, and he said something telling today I thought that you said, you know the most Ryan. The defense but he he's he's going to you know be checked in on every formation every plan that they use you know as a defensive line coach that's his forte he he's going to be I think maybe a little more hands on with the formations they use and the and the and the coverages, and but some of that are doing well, he's Got Thrown out I think that. This is the defense he wanted this is he talking about being wardrobe four three and they've got a great. Turn of Russia there plus six turnover ratio they're doing very well at that the they're causing some some big plays in that in that regard and turnovers just can't get off the field and can't Can't stop people and giving up a big big yards on the ground, and then these these huge places. The elected eight plays a twenty yards or more Saturday and gets very, which is

Hailing the Air Taxi: Secretive Joby Aviation's new electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing aircraft

"Tell us about your trip. Over fires I understand to to get to this. Secret Jobe test. Rain what you saw. Yeah thanks Joe will I've gotta say it was the story in terms of getting the story You briefly mentioned the the fire situation it all happened in the middle of the first big wave really of of wildfires out in California and my initial flights to the San Francisco Bay area, which is really where Jobe is based overall was through a dense clouds of smoke In both directions we had to wear face masks, of course, a part of the covert protocol but we ended up wearing three facemasks. He showed the flight back because otherwise we couldn't have we couldn't breathe in the smoke. So it was the the second flight that I took me onto their sort of undisclosed test area, which was even more interesting because that day. Having. Got To this location and then drove from for many miles into the secure facility came around the corner and they're hiding away. This valley was a small, very unusual looking hell not a helicopter, not not a fixed wing aircraft either this little like a strange hybrid between the two and that's that's the whole point about this new generation. It's something which we're still trying to really figure out as as well as the FAA I think what it is dealing with it, but it was fascinating experience. I showed up it was a really hot afternoon They basically were all poised waiting for me to get there since the dead they had the the vehicle on this little test area in the valley right in front of me a few hundred yards away they and that's the thing. The other thing about electric vehicles is you just turn them on. You know there's no sort of like. Slow. Wind up of a turbine or a piston foreing up it's just flick the switch and the lights come on you flick another switch and it lifts up into the into the air on a was what it was like the the sound which I couldn't wait to hear was so interested to know what it was going to be like eventually when the sun came to me, I was hoping. that it would be different than it was because I had expected something like one of those quad copters where you hear that sort. Of. Sound of the electric motors and ready sort of drums that sort of sound and but it didn't it was much low freak lower frequency sound very lower intensity. San Than expected. Vehicle took off and performed some maneuvers that are sort of relatively low altitude and the whole time I was standing beside. Justin Paints the chief test pilot and we were just chatting in a normal voice. Right it was right aside in beside us, it went off down the valley did some maneuvering. And? Transit didn't fully transitioned to wing bond fly because the valley area isn't that large. But it did become debt fatty fast as it maneuvered across in front of us and and landed and. that it was a remarkably quiet experience when the vehicle was down to the other end of the valley not too far away I mean just a few hundred yards You could hardly hear it above the background noise of of the of the INNOVA around the valley. So I think it would be effectively quite silent in an urban environment. They do say also that in forward in wing borne flight, it will also be effectively silent because The big thing about this design is it is it is a sensor they describe as a powered glider. It's like a like a motor glider really that can take off and land vertically. So it's just a very different way of looking at it. I think. It certainly looks very different. You know you think of a helicopter this has has more the wingspan of small aircraft. Yes exactly. Yeah. Incentive size. It's just a little bit short a wingspan than a embraer phenom one, hundred they they small business jared. An linked it's only just over twenty twenty, one feet body length of fears large with a little bit of overhang with the the the props at the back. But essentially, it's a very small package a footprint that's really designed to essentially go where helicopter like an forty four would fed. So that's the principle is that you're packaging this around six electric power unit. So EPA US, they call them and in a sort of a an oval shape which gives you a nice sort of equal area of left on each side and. Essentially redundancy it case one of those systems fails you've always got five others. One would power down the other forward power up to keep your balanced It's just a the so many layers of redundancy that are built into this design that you know sort of goes to the fact that. Job has really put safety as the absolutely leading design principle for this having actually figured out how to make it a vehicle fly one, hundred, fifty nautical miles. At about one, hundred, seventy five points and do it in such a way that you can recharge between between missions even at that length in a short time. So it's a the so many areas to look at.

Bills rally to beat Rams 35-32 after blowing 25-point lead

"The bills. Blew a twenty five point lead on Sunday and lived to tell the tale. The bills happily received the gift of questionable Pi call on fourth down. Then won the game on a Josh Allen to Tyler. Crop Hook up with fifteen seconds to play final score thirty, five, thirty, two. Wow Greg the rams came this close to a comeback for the ages. Only let victory slip away. They left too much time on the clock. When you come back from twenty three, you got a time that final touchdown just to go to overtime and then win the coin flip, which is probably the only way. The Rams Defense was GONNA get a stop in a big moment here because Josh Allen. Did. It all in this game in terms of the rollercoaster, the the whole experience they had nine possession and they and they scored five touchdowns. So I don't want to hear anything about the bills offense being in any way let down now he helped set up the comeback with a couple of turnovers, one of which came on a very questionable call, but was also a terrible throw by Alan. So yeah, he was at some fall Aaron Donald took over the game as Donald Does but my big takeaway is that the bills are an offensive team you WANNA get on part of their team. For blowing the lead, get on the defense I I look at them more as a team. That's GonNa make mistakes offensively as we saw here and there but that had to third and twenty three situations with the game on the line and they wound up converting the both they got one into a four, thousand nine. They got that questionable call as you mentioned Dan and and if they didn't get it, we'd be talking about how they blew this game but I still. As. A global view. Take a look at this bills team in think this offense is really dangerous and Alan's going to have some ups and downs but the conversion that they've had into an offense that can score over thirty regularly is massive and they are gonna be a tough team to beat when that's the case One thing stuck out to me was the uproar over the the controversial call at the end of the game and to be honest I caught a lot of this game. The only reason the rams were in the game was because of a bad call in their favour in which there was a simultaneous possession interception, which was clearly caught by the offensive player, and then once they hit the ground was wrestled out of his hands by the defensive player was a horrible call and they tried to defend it afterwards, our river on did and. It didn't make any sense when he tried to defend it either terrible throw though two and they gave up four touchdowns in four possessions very quickly. I think it's giving the rams a little too little credit's saying that's the only reason. It was definitely a turning point but it was a bad decision by Alan and more more to the point the rams offense started cooking. In the third and fourth quarters I hated that call. It's funny. We just started this show talking about how referees are keeping the flags in their pockets that to me at the end of the game there and I I know L. River on got behind his boy there. But that seemed very ticky tack with the game on the line to call that. But you know at that happens ultimately I think if you're the rams. Yeah. You're smarting from that call but also there are two third in forever's that they had right the bill. And all you gotTa do is make stop and that was you know that was to opportunities they had and they and they let it go by the boards and that is a credit to Allen I didn't get a chance to see this game. So I can't really say too much about it other than. His ability to just move this team up and down the field for three straight weeks, he is passed for three hundred yards. In, three straight weeks and they are averaging I believe four hundred and thirty yards. Total yards per game and thirty one points per game through three weeks, which is obviously franchise records across the board. There's something special happening with his offer.

WW2 Era Bomber [B-25] Crashes Near Stockton Airport

"World War Two era bomber a B twenty five crashes near Stockton Airport. And this is from ABC ten dot. COM Stockton. California World War. Two era bomber crashed about five miles away from Stockton Metroplitan. Airport on Saturday night San Joaquin County sheriff's officials said Sheriff's officials said the pilot tried to land and a field before striking a ditch the plane received significant damage in the crash officials said, three people were on board the plane to receive non life threatening injuries while another person was able to walk away. Fine the fine the two injured occupants were transported to the local hospital. NTSB and F. A. A. Officials will take over the investigation into why the plane crashed. And we have some audio and let me set this up a little bit from live ATC dot net when they're traveling on these these old warbirds warbirds. They usually have like a chase airplane somewhere following them for support and such, and in this case, it's a bonanza. The the the be twenty five started in Chino and flew up to northern California stopped at the nut tree vacaville airport for a bit, and then took off again and was heading over to stockton to have some repairs done to the airplane. There's A. Depiction of the of the flight, the latter part of the flight to nut tree in Vacaville, and then over the Stockton, and then after the repair work is going to be accomplished remains work whatever it was. They were GONNA do at Stockton they're going to return to the east coast where it's based. and. Let's see. So let's play a little bit of the live ATC video. Audio and again, you'll hear the bonanza flight. That'll be the first thing you here and then you'll well as the only thing you'll hear and then the. Conversation with air traffic. Control. I don't know if you call it minor or not. It depends on. Report you're looking at here. Bet. The third occupant was not injured. I'm hoping that it looks like. By the way if you have a link to this in the show notes. One Brown the Block Leo. Channel did. A really nice video of this and he has got a lot of interesting information about the airplane and the fact that had just returned. Remember we talked about earlier show the World War, two era bombers or aircraft that were on the Essex L. HD navy ship that was heading over to Hawaii. To Commemorate the seventy fifth anniversary of the end of World War Two and Hawaii It had just that was one of the airplanes they. Put It on a crane and put it on the the deck of the L. HD and it sailed over to Hawaii. They did the comeback. So basically, this is all glories getting ready to return all the way to its home on the East Coast and. let's say the. So he had some other interesting photos of where the be twenty five ended up in a ploughed field, and if it hadn't been for that irrigation ditch it would have been a much better. Outcome and does you know it still doesn't look like there's a Well I. Guess. If you're looking at the engines that were torn off against the damage is quite extensive on the engines but I'm hoping what I'm trying to say is I hope that they'll be able to. Scrap the thing completely, it'll be able to fix it but I don't know. It's great. History. Escape. Doesn't I. Mean. There are people out there who are willing to build a new aircraft will build well, two aircraft. A very small amount some the this is a complete more or less So I'm sure that somebody in who who has got the money and there are plenty of people out there who loves this sort of thing Bail to fund it, but it's just a it's just a tragic. How To Generate High-Value Leads On LinkedIn

"My guest today is Matt Kark. That is the founder of the virtual edge and CO creator of the rainmaker system. An online marketing system that helps coaches, advisers and consultants get two to five times. Hi I'm sorry. Let me start that over again. Two to five high value leads per day from Lincoln without paying for ads. and His business partner have helped over a thousand businesses in seventeen countries grow exponentially. There's three step approach places human connection at its core paving the way for a new wave of lead generation marketing. Virtual. Edge is a multimillion dollar company and they have helped their clients grow to six and seven figures without paid advertising. Which I find fascinating, which is why wanted out to be here today. So thanks for joining me today, Matt. Thank you for having me on. I'm excited to be here. I am thrilled to have you here and I saw this subject is so fascinating for me because I. Feel like I. See a lot of people doing things incorrectly unlinked in and like especially now that we're in the situation where people can't be face to face. Right. So this you know human connection at its core, it is interesting for me but. I want to start with if you would define what Yael believe is a high value lead. Yeah, brilliant. I love that question because most people Wayne, they say leads and especially on. Lincoln. They talk about connections and they talk about how many potential people you're going to reach out to. But that's not really elite. That's just the beginning part of the process. So for me hide that you lead is somebody that has gone unchecked profile. That has been specifically targeted. You've had a conversation with them and you shared with them. What results you can help people like them achieve they say, yes they're interested in talking and you get an email address himself a number that's what I consider lead. And at somebody that is going to be that's lead first of all but a high value lead is someone that you're selling something to fall. You know at least three thousand dollars. Okay, that's interesting. Okay. So that's sort of the benchmark then. Yeah clean okay. Sell. It fit based on that it feels to me like knowing your ideal client is really really important. So you could differentiate between high value lead someone who just might be a good connection for you yes. So. Will you talk some about I? Mean I'm all about defining your ideal client, but for the listeners, will you talk about why that is so important? Hundred percent and you know like you said I mean it's one of the most important things that you can actually do right and. Getting clear on your ideal client will determine a couple of things if it's like, maybe I can take a step back. If you're trying to target everybody, it's very difficult to create a compelling message to get out into the marketplace. Because you don't know what they want and what they're trying to achieve. So if you get laser focused on an ideal client and instead of Trying to use a shotgun from you know five hundred yards are a thousand yards, use a sniper rifle and you're going off to that one ideal client. You can dive deep into are as a person. Instead of just thinking of them as. A prospect potential clients you dive into who they are as a person. When you do that, it allows you to understand who they are and what they need and what the core things are that they're really excited. And the things that are actually going to be excited about buying and spending money intended conversations, and once you do that, you can then just go and find more people like that. You, see for a lot of people that we work with you know they don't need to have forty fifty clients a month. In fact, most of the people in order to get to six and seven and eight figures, they need three to four clients a month. Right, so it's not like you need a ton of clients to be able to generate massive results. Okay. So I love this idea of getting stuck with they are as a person. And I feel like there's people listening who are thinking. Okay. But. If I'm selling like beat be like consultants that that deal with businesses. Does that still told trial. Absolutely one hundred percent because if you're a consultant and you know mean that's what I do and that's a part of our business and a lot of. The companies that we work with our consultants as well. So even then the most specific, you get around few years targeting and what sort of results you can help them achieve the easier it is to reach these guys. Now the mistake that most people make is they go in and they say their business consultant they'll say I help businesses grow right. Number One. What. Kind of businesses who you talking in the business? What are the big problems they have? What sort of growth can they achieve and what sort of timeframe?

Ravens extend regular-season run, dominate Texans 33-16

"Texans offense is trying to figure out itself average three yards, a carry, and the Ravens they've just picked up where they left off I mean the January playoff exit was ugly but through two regular season games we are now coming on. If, you combine these two regular season games with how they finished and really perform the entire regular season. Last year. This is one of the great dominant runs September through December that I can remember any team having. No argument there I saw some something today that. It's like, wow, the ravens have gone taken what they did last year and they've gone another three steps. Let's slow down. That's one of the greatest regular teams I've ever seen like you're not going three steps further but continuing it and adding new elements to it and playing a little more consistent defense from week one on which they were not last year. Is GonNa, make them so hard to be, and they play the chiefs next week a little too early in the season for my taste, but it should be fun. I mean I. Think one issue is Lamar Jackson, like if were if you wanted to point to little elements of his game, the needed help them up I mean he's gotten distinctively better over two off seasons and. Around half time and I was kind of tracking this off on the side, I was thinking looking at their boxcar thinking they're not really running like it doesn't seem like they're dominating. They didn't have one hundred yards hundred and fifty yards rushing in the first half. It was like a little bit off and then at the end of the game. They have two, hundred, thirty plus yards on the ground I mean they they really come. So easily they can do everything they did a year ago they just throw in JK Dobbins you throw in a couple of other guys. They simply have more weapons so I think last year is last week's game against Cleveland was absolutely authentic. Today's game is absolutely authentic. This is who they are. There's probably one or two teams in the League that could touch him right now.

Fantasy Football Forecast: One BIG THING you should know for every Week 2 matchup

"I sit out the way New Orleans versus Las Vegas raters. We saw New Orleans showcase really really solid, really great defensive performance against Tom. Brady and the buccaneers They were pretty on disappointed as a team, lot of penalties on their defensive side of the front. The saints rebel to take advantage of that. La Raiders played against the Carolina Panthers last week and gave up thirty points. It's very possible that New Orleans doesn't look as Resi as they did against a really solid defensive front in Tampa. Bay and they might have their way with a raiders team that is still kind of pretty young and trying to get their footing and all this stuff. They don't they had an injury to majority of their wide receivers in the last game. So Dan, Waller seems to be their only solid option. At the receiving side of things that might mean there in Waller's uptick in target's share and my means, he gets an ends on this year or this week maybe something good happens for him I'm buying all the stock now I'm Kamara right now for this game, this should be Alvin Kamara. KAMERA's two touchdown, a hundred yards from scrimmage plus game. This is this is the one I wouldn't see why would be any otherwise and to be quite frank. I think that a lot of players on seem to have a really big game and this would be a really fun game to see trae Kwan Smith. I'm going to bring them up again. This'll be a fun game Trey Smith. Look to be a solid. Relieving game just for brevity and sake of saving saints, fans of fantasy fans alike, some worry as to what the saints offense can look like without Michael Thomas Soaking up a lot of the defensive pressure. All right. So Fancy implications all over the place you know Josh Jacobs. This could be a really good test to see just how much they believe in Josh Jacobs as a pass catcher because I don't know how much he's going to be able to do in the run game considering New Orleans is when had and still does on one of the better run defenses in all the football. I think the best game. Pound for pound this week has to be the night game on NBC, where New England is playing against Seattle that they're going to be playing in Seattle New England the we have a kind of banged up cam and she says it's the there's no hamstring issue but. Of Most people are saying that he does, Kinda. Have a little bit of a hamstring thing going on and we'll see how that affects him with all read option stuff and what we saw from last Sunday's performance maybe we started to see cam throw a little bit more, and then we can really see just what this doing his offense really has to offer for them sure that bill will have them ready for whatever and we saw sea hawks offense that basically let Russell Wilson do what people have been asking. Them to let Russell. Wilson do for basically the majority of the back half of the dense. You know twenty seventeen was to let Russ Cook and Cook did Russell Wilson? Do He only missed four passes? He had A. Great amount of yardage great touchdown passes de que look. Nice at times he did have some drops of course, Tyler Lockett looked really good. Chris Carson looked amazing. In the past game. We had some really good screens run in for touchdowns. They got tight ends involved the plethora tight ends at the seahawks own and their defense was literally flying around all over the place. Now, there are a lot of garbage time touchdown stuff in that Falcons game that I'm not GonNa hold against the defense when it mattered. Jamal Adams and of course. Everybody else in that defense just looked phenomenal. They just looked physical. They looked like they were flying around and making plays they look very formidable as team very formidable. So. That is a game as the May have a lot of implemented implications on things so KEEP IN MIND I think one of the better secondaries in the League is New England's granted they played against. The, dolphins but they did not allow that many receptions or receiving yards at all for either receiver on the dolphins and Tyler Lockett, and care very athletic fast guys but. It's going to be tough. Is GonNa be a tough about we'll see what happens. They may have to change up the strategy of leading Russ Cook for this game in particular and work through the old tried and true run the ball and try to make something happen later on in the game. But for US Russell Wilson owners like myself I hope they just let him throw the ball a little bit more that'd be nice. That would be fun I think we'd all like to enjoy that. So moving on towards another game I think the Baltimore Game at four, twenty, five eastern standard time on CBS is going to be a good one, Baltimore versus Houston. This game can go I think Houston is a team that kid look Jacqueline Hyde and they've been jekyll and Hyde ever since the Shawn Watson is come on that team and. Not Sage. It's the Sean played bad last Thursday. But he definitely did not look comfortable one hundred percent of the time and you just was trying to make plays. His offensive line wasn't there fully stout at all and when it was time to just throw throw throw things Kinda got out of hand for Houston Houston can't be a team that gets to behind too quickly or else it is going to be nightmarish for the offensive line. And it's going to be a bad day for Shawn Watson even though he can make miracles happen at will while Samour's in perfect position to take on a team that showcase bad tackling display. So this is a team. So if this is the time where you want to be like, okay JK Dobbins, he didn't have that many targets but hey, he got two touchdowns in is the time to test out the JK Dobbins is going to be. The album? Kamara. To Marketing Rooms Mark Ingram. So we'll see what happens here Lamar he this seem doesn't tackle well, Lamar could have himself a anywhere closer to forty to fifty yards rushing easily against this team if he wants it, and of course, Mark Andrews is a guy who I would think would eat very well against the Houston team that allowed drivers Kelsey to get like five catches in the first half with ease marched up and down the field with ease Look to see how David Johnson looks in his second bout. David Johnson had a nice surprise of a Comeback Week one performance that a lot of people were speculating was possible and he delivered for the most part. So that was encouraging for many people to go ahead and see so I wouldn't. Put it past him to do it once again. That's really really against the I think that Brandin cooks is still a bit. So that would not be. Great for folks owners. And I would be looking at anybody who has. Willie snead Willie snead was all over the place last week and it was almost to a shocking amount of how much willie snead was dependent on and I said Willie snead. That was not who I meant to say I meant to say will fuller will fuller will around the field for the Texans last week and I would like to see him continue that stretch because that would be. Pretty awesome to be completely honest. I. Would like to see a will fuller healthy and showcasing that he is here to stay in this league and thus it would not make me feel nearly as bad for short.

Jetpack over LA: Fact or Fiction?

"Saw reference to this on twitter yesterday too. And so people I don't know what we're David. You know we're talking about here. Breath. So there are reports from airline pilots apparently, there are reports line pilots are saying this. I don't know if I've actually heard an airline airline pilot reporting but that that while on on the approach to lax, I think yesterday. They saw quote unquote a guy in a jet pack at altitude. And it's like. It's twenty twenty innings possible. I mean just right but. What have you heard anything that makes you think this could be real. It's twenty twenty anything anything can happen. Ain't that the truth well back that they seem to have gotten. Audio from. The aircraft in. The Tower. Off. Of a presumed Pasco site. that. Would lend a little credence to the to the story. If you know from a live ATC. I didn't bother to click on the links here to to you know I'm just doing the local TV stations. This is from. The war zone actually from the drive DOT COM, they're they're section called the warzone airline pilots landing at LAX report quote a guy in a jet pack unquote flying alongside them It's like, okay This was some guy in a Moonie. Okay. Yeah. Maybe not but according to this news report there's three different airliners. We just passed a guy. No jetpack. And this was. According to according to the tower tower transmission made on the frequency. To jet, blue twenty-three use caution a person in jetpack reported three hundred yards south of the La final at about three thousand feet ten mile final. That's a little segment audio. Save so suddenly. That's so now is this a do we? I don't know what kind of jetpack. Yeah. That's my question is it a? Is it a sort of a James Bond type of jet pack or is it these more recent guys who were jet? Wing? And fought. Because that's the pictures that they've. Looked down lower in the story as an example, they're not saying this is the incident. But there showing other showing. Images, they have of. Of this is the jet man the. Jet called free also but yeah. Rossi's jet man that's that's yeah. emerets did a thing a stunt I don't WANNA call. It was a promotion. That's true. Three four years ago. Where they had this guy, the jet man fly in formation with I. Don't know if it was a three eighty or trip seven but. The image. Here is a four engine I'd say it's a three eighty. Three. Right. He's He's got about half flaps. Put Slow flight in your book right over the top of Dubai and with two of these these jetpack guys. It's hard to tell from the image. But. It looks like they're a good five well, good couple of hundred feet. Above to the left of this three eighty. Is the Radio Tower American nine, hundred and ninety seven. We just passed a guy in a jet pack and our says, American. Nine, hundred seven. Okay. Thank you. Okay well, this is like off to talk to one seventy, two Andrew. This is he he flies overhead lax more or less daily going to and from work. And I'll have to see what he knows about this sky with must have been. Like A shorts three, sixty or something he's like because he says, we just saw the guy passing bias in the jetpack. So I don't know if he could be going the other way but. The JAMPAKHAO, ran this guy whistling. That's embarrassing. Yeah. That's I mean it's gotTa. Be a turtle prop. No RJ captain in there and self respecting RJ captain would fly that slump. Well he's on he's on vinyl. Still doing. You Know Buck Forty Bucks Sixty. Okay well. But I'm sure jetpack guys go faster than one, hundred and forty. Meter not at least. Once. All right well. You know we're we're obviously interested in more evidence. Yes. Yes. We want to hear more accounts of this and I will check in with one seventy two drew just because he's plugged into that community in Long Beach a lot. So where the he may have some some behind the scenes information about what happened over the. Thing that jumps out at me here. Is that. If he's on final. For La. At three thousand feet and ten miles out. It has to be something like Rossi's jetpack because none of the other stuff go ten miles. Right, I wouldn't think that the James Bond if there is even a flying James Bond jetpack these days I, don't know and that was the only good for. Thirty seconds. And that's when I first heard and the first the first report of this I saw on twitter was accompanied by a picture of that jet pack in the Air Right and I thought I sort of thought it was an actual picture which I don't think you now in retrospect that it was but. anyways. So all right. Well I don't know whether we'll learn more about this or not. But when I first heard about this, if saw this whatever was I, thought it was one of those. Fan like a fan driven. Jet. Packs Ah. Some some people have taken to putting just like you do a drone use a lot of motors. They, they've created some some contraptions that that have motors and turn small productive propellers basically -ducted fans. And get off the ground and get off. But basically, it's like a helicopter. So it's Ok off the ground but I don't think they have the altitude duration or speed to do this well. We know that they did it very long. So it did it. They did it for three or four minutes? Three or four different arrivals. So yeah. Yeah. Three or four three different arrivals and figure they're spaced about a minute apart Hey. Okay.

The Scoop on CBD With David Krantz

"Hey everyone. I am here with David Krantz David thank you so much for being with us here today it's good to have you back on the show. To push back, really appreciate you reaching out and setting this up. Yeah. Well, for those who don't know you, you've been on the show. But you are a sought after certified EPA genetic coach. Last time you're on the PODCAST, we talk specifically about epigenetics. Specialize in personalized nutrition, genetic testing optimal. You are the two thousand Nineteen International Forum on Healthcare Advancement, top one, hundred health innovator nominee, and your best known for creating the appear on genomics indicate cab annoyed panel. So you know a lot about the economic system, CBD EPA genetics all these sort of Geeky side things that I love to just like dive down deep into especially when we sent her that around. Because there's so much there. So I'm excited and let's dive in last time you talked about certified your work is a certified. Coach can you briefly share your journey a little bit of background for those that may be missed that episode WanNa know a little more about who you are and how you got here? Absolutely. So I like a lot of people who find themselves in the healing world had to really kill myself and figure out my own stuff I, and that's really what led me into the path. And My background is actually in music and electric music production performance, and in my early twenties I was touring musician and Meyde lifestyle and all the stressors not taking care of my body really just 'cause my health to crash and I started having these weird symptoms I was passing out randomly, which was not fun like wake up and realizing that I was just unconscious for a little bit. I saw a number of the mainstream doctors and they're basically like well, you're like a healthy young guy in his twenties like you're not. GonNa. Die of a heart attack. We can tell you that you're not gonNa you know. You don't have diabetes. We can tell you that right and beyond that there wasn't a lot of actual useful actionable information, and so it really forced me to do my own research and figure out what's going on. I've been listening to this podcast with the Guy Dr Dan Stickler, who is a world renowned expert in genetics and epigenetics sand I listening to all of his podcast episodes that he had out. And there wasn't anyone really talking about this stuff in this angle and I took a walk on my lunch break one day at work and realize the logo of this podcast that I've been listening to was literally on the building next door. Like one hundred yards from whereas working and the doctor had an office next door to me that I didn't know about. So wild. And so I immediately booked a time I wanNA blood work done with them. I wanted to work with them and it turned out they're actually looking to hire someone with an audio background to help them develop meditation programs and stress relief programs for this experimental sound chamber. They've built in this clinic and I turned out I had the perfect background you know immediately want to. Start working with them and right around the same time. This Guy Dr Dance declare who's he's a consultant to Google lectures at Stanford. He started a training program for teaching genetics teaching epigenetics and I haven't the replaced at the right time basically, and he was like, Hey, you should you know be a Beta tester refer this program like you kind of have a basis for it. Me Can pass his knowledge on to you actually said no at first I was still in the I`Ma musician. Kind of mindset and sure enough I actually ended up being the first coach that he trained. He's trained about three or four hundred worldwide now, and so that's really kind of what launched me into what I'm doing now, and since then I've gone on to develop a genetic test for economic function like you mentioned with Dr. Stickler and so it's really been a battle one eighty Cana journey for me in terms of going from someone who? Really needed help to kind of being on the other

China's Xi vows unceasing fight against Tibet separatism

"China's president has called for what's described as an impregnable fortress to stop separatism in Tibet Xi Jinping, speech, set out the country's policy direction intended to protect national unity, maintain stability, and educate the masses. Well, Isabel Hilton is the editor of China dialogue and has written extensively about Beijing's relationship with Tibet. Hello? Isabelle. Doing. Very. Well, thank you. Tell us what is this impregnable fortress. Well this is come out of the Communist Party Central Symposium on Tibet work, which is the you know the high level. It's the meeting that gathers together everyone who has anything to do with Tabet from security to economics to environment, and of course, the polit bureau is in attendance at the last one was five years ago. So it is quite important to understand the direction that things taking and I have to say it's not a particularly encouraging direction the the emphasis on a border security was not extensively publicized in China but I think that that is undoubtedly related to the continuing tensions with India, and we've seen a number of clashes along that border. But the other. Really important aspect of this statement is is really about hearts and minds, which has been a massive failure in terms of of Chinese occupation of Tibet and the the stress on patriotic education on the fact that monasteries must you know put put the party first and so on. All isses familiar but it's becoming more intense in terms of of of you know government propaganda and just simply failed over the years. So how does it intend to impose or bill this impregnable fortress to maintain not just stability but? Engage in those hearts and minds which which they find so important and what I think probably I'm sorry to say more repression it's. There is a relationship between what happens in Tibetan what happens in Xinjiang, which has lately had some more attention and but the body secretary who? Had A kinda panel up to consecutie system in Tibet then moved to Xinjiang to continue his work. So the security approach is very much the same and it is extremely tight security on on an absolute day to day level. So you know police boxes every few hundred yards kind of panopticon effect on on watching society for any kind of behavior that might be considered deviant. So that's one aspect of it and and the other oil done in the name of national security. and. Then the other aspect is the intense education and signification of Tibet. So it's been some years now since two Beden as a medium of instructions in schools was damaged and and you know there's heavy language pressure heavy cultural pressure on on Tibetans who are encouraged not to have a photographs of the delay in their homes but to her photographs of Xi. Jinping, instead to the the, it's really an an example of enhanced integration. Hitherto has been a policy in the People's Republic at least in name over SPEC for national minorities as they would call them. So Cultural Rights, language rights, and the idea that they could be in some sense autonomous and self governing. Now, that was never entirely implemented but at least it was official policy and that is now being abandoned really in favor of kind of. Han Chinese dominance in every aspect including culture and language, and how is that likely to be received in Tibet? Well. The evidence is that the more pressure the culture comes under in a way, the more people attached to it. So you know the most famous case was in nineteen eighty when when the reports from to bed to the center. Essentially said everyone's forgotten by the Dalai. Lama. They loved the Communist Party. It's all going swimmingly and it emboldened the central government to allow or to think about a visit from the delara sue the Dalai Lama sent. A representative. Group to inspect Tibet to see what conditions would like and as soon as rumors of these people's presence spread across to bet you thousands and thousands of people went to pay homage and his push notes into the hands and to weep and to go for the Dalai Lama. So you know the Chinese never been very good at reading. Tibetan sentiment and every time they criticized the Dalai Lama officially it sort of gives comfort to the Tibetans that. The Dalai Lama still matters and he still bad. So it's it's you know it's not a particularly helpful policy and the more that they cracked down on Tibet. The more Tibetan people feel more. They feel the difference and in a moment ago, you mentioned the fact that Tibet is stuck as well in terms of the relationship, the the very techy relationship that's being played out between India at the moment two degrees either side twenty used to bet. Well I think that this. That that's always I. Guess a problem you know the wasn't a border between India and China until the Chinese occupation of Tibet. So so now we have to Asian supervise and this border which is constantly disputed, which is unresolved and across which flow or manner of things including of course, people you know the flow of refugees to India from Tibet. has been a feature of the years the very large settlements of Tibetan refugees in India, which has given them pretty generous hospitality, the presence of the Dalai Lama in India. Then on the Indian side, you know there is anxiety about water supply because wall of. India's pretty much all of India's water supply comes from the Tibet Plateau, and there is constant fear in Indian security services that that the Chinese can somehow turn the top of which is unlikely but nevertheless it makes them deeply anxious. So there are any number of issues that that would need to be resolved in NFL comprehensive settlement. But at the moment you have to highly nationalistic governments each which is you postures vigorously over Tibet and I think that a settlement is not terribly likely Isabel. Indeed as ever for joining us on monocle twenty four, that was China dialogues is.

Piper PAC twelve was equipped with wheels and took off from the sold in the airport but investigators do not know yet where it was headed. Interrupted your first second other pipers that onto quit with wheels the ones that have floats apparently Okay. I kinda struck me. Kind of struck me as odd as well. Must Pipers I think that's a fair statement. Most pipers have wheels. But apparently, because the the BEAVER was float. Float equipped beaver. They felt like they had to. Put that make that point. Okay. That's I could have just said that took off from the Saldana airport not the like. Ben. Anyway. Witnesses. How often you get close to alluring craft Pakeha you haven't spotted them and most of these occasions just give everyone a bit of a fright when you get very close about. The advent of eighty s be for everybody is going to help these situations but quite honestly The best thing to do is just keep head out of the cup used them Wanna eyeball but of course, has limitations We all know that. Sudan you know we were. Really through. Our evolution sensory systems are is already designed to pick up moving targets and If you're on a collision course with someone, they don't actually move relative to you because you're a collision course if they moved then you'd easily tell are either gonNA in front of you behind you above you will below you'll whatever. So something that's completely stationary in your windshield pups just adult initially is she knows very easy victory for peripheral vision to pick up. So does it starts to move one direction or another that you attention is attracted to it. You can say if you look directly at it with the the highest acuity portion of your eye, which those is, you know it's about the size of your fist held on link. It's not a very big piece of your eye. Which is why it's important to scan the sky. All the time particularly in the areas when you'll vulnerable. To Collisions talking about three o'clock tonight. but you know it is possible papal creep up from behind you take a look out there occasionally and do so insect chosen to do. So with discipline so that you can cover the entire sky and bear in mind that it's very easy if you're looking into an empty sky, feel is to focus backwards towards you. And longer be stretched out at infinity. So there's less chance of your actually seeing the thing you're looking for. Hidden Histories - Rosewood, Tulsa, Chicago

"Halfway between Tampa and Tallahassee, a hundred yards off state route, twenty four and ten miles from the next town stands a handsome Pale Yellow House with decorative white trim on the two story porch. The house was the only survivor of an episode of such extraordinary violence that it boggles the mind how quickly and completely it was swept under the rug. An entire community was burned to the ground in an incident of racist asymmetrical warfare. And most people have never even heard of it. My Name's Moxy and this is your brain on facts. The community had been or technically still is Rosewood, Florida. It was settled by both black and white people twenty years before the civil war, but the Jim. Crow segregation in the Post Bellum decades put a clear divide into the community. The town was incorporated in eighteen seventy after it got a post office on a train stop and was named Rosewood for the Pink Cedars that were also the base of its economy. Residents worked in lumber, yards, mills, and even a pencil factory. Until the cedars had been overharvested, and the factories began to close. Most of the white residents moved to nearby sumner. But one couple John and Mary right who ran the general store? They were kind to their neighbors, and were known to Slip Candy to the black kids who hung out at the store, possibly because their own children had died young. The white flight continued into the nineteen twenties when Rose Woods population of about two hundred was entirely black plus the rights. The little hamlet got by just fine. Until New Year's Day nineteen twenty-three. Over in Sumner, a woman named Fanny Taylor woke her neighbors, saying a black man had broken into her house and attacked her. Rather than alert sheriff, her husband immediately gathered a group of men. Including clansmen who were in the area for a rally and a tracking dog. the, dog, lead them to the railroad tracks, which led to Rosewood. The mob, which would grow to be three hundred strong got it in their head that they were looking for a black man named Jesse Hunter who had escaped from a chain gang. The dog ran through the open door of a house and back out with that of wagon tracks. When the homeowner swore that no one else had been in his house, the mob tied him to the back of a car and dragged him down a dirt road. Then they tracked down the owner of the wagon whose tracks the dog sniffed. When he also claimed ignorance and innocence, the mob mutilated and killed him. The mob came to the House of Sarah carrier the Taylor's laundries. Two dozen people most of them. Children were hiding inside having heard what was going on already driven out of their homes by fear. For whatever reason the mob was sure that carrier was hiding Jesse Hunter. They fired on the House and carrier. Sons returned fire. When it was over both Sarah and her son Sylvester carrier had been fatally shot, though Sylvester had managed to kill two of their assailants. Had, anyone bothered to talk to Sarah carrier about Fannie, Taylor. She would have been able to tell them about Taylor's lover. Her white lover who she had been with before the attack. As, the mob kicked in the front door of the carrier house, the people hiding inside fled out the back door to the relative safety of the nearby. Swampy Woods. Not. All were able to get away though. Carriers, other son James was found by the mob who reportedly made him dig his own grave before killing him. The newspapers of the nearby towns caught wind of what was happening. They ran exaggerated. Retailing's of the siege of the carrier House and blatantly false reports of roving bands of armed black citizens. Seeing that even more white men poured into Rosewood believing that a race war had broken out. Apparently it's only a race war when the race you're targeting fights back. The manhunt and terror campaign wasn't confined to that single night, but stretched on for nearly a week.

Two Hauntings

"You Welcome to kiss myths and mysteries, I'm your host Kit Chrome today to get us in the mood of haunted ghost towns that we're going to be talking about later in the we thought I'd cover a couple former military basis that were active during and slightly after world. War Two, but the two I found were six hundred fifty miles apart in one, thousand, nine, hundred, forty, two Tillamook Bay, Oregon was prepared for Submarine Attack Naval Air. Station, as it was called, was the base. Base for squadrons E. P. Thirty three and housed eight K class blimps that carried a crew of ten and dozens of depth charges. They were stored in an all wood, the hanger get this one thousand seventy two feet long two hundred ninety six feet, wide, one hundred ninety two feet high, that took thirty three million board feet of lumber to build originally the basis, one thousand six hundred acres held over sixty buildings, but as of today only thirty five or left standing. In a heavily wooded area paths lead to five separate ammunition bunkers, and the basis littered with dozens of locomotives left rusty on their tracks. There are several aircraft and radar bunkers. Also, it was nineteen forty eight when the base was decommissioned in our story really begins. The two huge hangars were filled with warplanes hanger a contained T. B.. M. Grumman Avenger torpedo boats Henry. Be stored. S. B. TO C. Hell diver dive bombers, five hundred planes in all being made ready for A. A last flight to the Aircraft Cemetery Arizona Robert. smedley was flying a hell diver to San Diego when bad weather said in when he turned back, a group of loggers saw the planes circling under low cloud cover just before the crash, wreckage of the plane was scattered over two hundred yard radius among the wreckage was copy of a Western Union note he'd sent to his wife just days before coming home soon, it said loud Bob People visiting the old base of reported seen. Seen a man dressed in a typical world war, two flight suit wandering among the wreckage, one visitor walked up to a Russian plane complete with a pilot and thought it was part of an act Robert. smedley left behind a wife and three-year-old daughter, and it's believed by local residents claim to have seen. The ghost is probably the spirit of Robert. Smedley, trying to find his way home now travel last six hundred fifty miles. I mentioned to San. Francisco's old hunters point shipyard originally. Originally built on six hundred thirty eight acres of Waterfront. Our story began so the dawn of July first nineteen, forty six, when the able day atomic airburst over tiny Bikini atoll took place over one hundred US military ships surrounded the island of all the vessels. It was light aircraft carrier. US Independence that the government decided to toe into hunters point shipyard intent on finding a way to decontaminate it. They also wanted to determine the potency of the radioactive contamination I. They tried sandblasting. We're left with tons of radioactive sand that had to be packed in of dump some thirty miles off the San Francisco coast next they brought in cats and dogs monitor effects radioactive poisoning on them, then placing the dead contaminated animals into barrels to be dumped into the Pacific. Finally, prisoner volunteers from nearby San Quentin prison were made to clean the ship when they died. You can only guess what happened to their remains. But that's ancient history, the grounds that made up the old shipyard or be decontaminated as soldier real estate investors, one investor reported that when crews were brought out to transient build foundations for his apartment complexes. They stopped short when they approached the side, it was overrun by cats and dogs, and a group of men, wearing vintage prisoner uniforms shuttle days later they were brought in again and found the lots and question deserted. Could the animals have been the spirits of the cats and dogs sacrificed and all those years ago, and what about the group of men were they go? So the volunteers as note of interest the US US independence began to sink before being decontaminated and. And was towed three hundred twenty eight miles out to sea at skull. At least that's what the navy says, but the Ocean Exploration Trust discovered the independence twenty eight miles west of San Francisco Bay and slightly cell of the fair alone

Cory Booker on how the U.S. should reform policing

"We want to speak now to New Jersey senator Cory Booker who joins us from his home in Newark a morning to senator good morning mark thank you for having me in Atlanta was the killing of Richard Brooks an example to you of excessive use of force I was a bit of a new Jersey's largest city with the police department if one of my officers shot someone in the back while they were fleeing with a non deadly weapon that is unjust use of force and unacceptable to community standards and it's very unfortunate and and tragic given the broader concern at the federal levels on how to come up with legislation that both sides can get behind you heard senator Scott say that when it comes to qualified immunity the administration has made clear to him that is a poison pill it cannot be in any kind of legislation how do you offset the concern in the administration that qualified immunity helps well it it it's necessary because police need to make split second decisions and they can't be thinking twice in a way that inhibits them from doing their job how do you offset that specific concerns well let's understand that qualified immunity right now it's not a democratic support thing Clarence Thomas and conservative Supreme Court justice is saying that we need to re examine qualified immunity well some of my Republican colleagues in the Senate right now have come forward to me and said we need to re examine qualified immunity or qualified immunity does in this country is allows a case in Washington were pregnant woman seven months pregnant was dragged into a street for not signing a parking ticket in taste three times no accountability those police officers were qualified all finding unity it's a case in Utah where bicycle rider the hundred yards away was shot multiple times by multiple police and then they claimed it was just mistaken identity no accountability in terms of qualified immunity even in Washington and even in Oklahoma the man with pneumonia wandering stumbling to a hospital unarmed was shot and killed by police so I can go through the whole rific example after horrific example we have to ask ourselves a society do we want to have a nation where police officers who really awful things cannot be held accountable to sit two civil rights charges and that's unacceptable and so I I hear what folks are saying but when there's so many conservative voices are talking about qualified immunity and when we know that no one in America should be above the law I think it's time that we change qualified immunity what what what you heard center Scott say that was the term poison pill meaning this could this could sink everything else what about his idea that he floated there of decertification as a way to reduce officer misconduct well every American should think for themselves if your wife or daughter or family member was that pregnant woman who was brought out into the middle of a street for not signing a property contains three times is the certification a real accountability we are a nation right now where the sense of what's possible has shifted the bill that I just did with incredible partners like Kamel Harrison house members that would have been poisoned pills just a month ago this is a moment in American history where there are things in the Republican bill that allows still choke holds for a no knock warrants which were being banned right now from Kentucky to New York this is not a time for lowest common denominator watered down reforms it's time to stop the problem because if you if someone's needs on your neck you can't take it halfway off and say that that's progress we have the tools with which to stop people from dying and any spill should have a ban on racial and religious profiling call four by George Bush in his first address to Congress are you saying are you saying on this one particular issue that you will not sign any bill unless there is a reduction that would allow for it to be easier to prosecute bad cops look hi I have witnessed in my life the awful criminal justice system getting worse from nineteen eighty till now are criminal or course Rhaetian going up five hundred percent in America and it was part of a compromise bill to liberate thousands of people out of prisons and so I did the best I can in the first step we did to tear down a system of mass incarceration which the land of the free has one out of every three incarcerated women on the planet earth even though we're only five percent to close population so do I want progress yes but when you when you stop shores and start talking about finding a bill that's the lowest common denominator it is meaning that we will revisit this again with another on armed black person gets killed in the nation the rocks we should be seeking to solve the problem pushing the back when possible and getting as big of a coalition as we possibly can if it did but didn't and you're saying that there is a chance here that this moment could you could miss the moment that Democrats Republicans won't be able to come to a compromise no I'm saying that we could miss the moment by not solving the problem and ending practices yeah we know would make a difference to lives things like having police misconduct registries yeah open to the public because sunshine is the best disinfectant so I'm gonna do everything I can in this moment that is it every day with with artists of activism nonviolent protesters on the streets every day well I want to ask you I want to ask about this moment because I mean it's an election year and emotions are already super charge the president this morning sent a tweet quoting Michael Moore filmmaker it said Democrats shouldn't underestimate white male trump supporters rage and emotion you heard my exchange with senator Scott about whether it is ignorance or deliberate nous to plan a rally around June thirteenth eight do you believe that you can come to a compromise with this administration on this issue this is what I know I know the harder to Scotton centers like center Braun who said to me he's full of qualified I mean it's on the table we we are one body the United States Senate and and people of good heart good spirit regardless what the president does he can veto a bill but we should come forward in this moment in history which will be judged we should put our best face F. best faith effort forward to put a bill on intact it will stop the kind of awful violence and in killing of unarmed people that we see in our country we can do that we know what about this and we know that half measures have not worked in the past from person to

Security. These people are found a hundred yards from the car naked and the corner initially couldn't find a cause of death. And then set it was hypothermia. Now in the wild stretches of anyone's imagination. Hypothermia is not going to sit in a hundred yards. And if you're cold you go back in the car, and you get in your cell phone and you call for help. That's right. Exactly you walk hundred yards to the road. Then you wait for a car to come by. Both of them die of hypothermia, supposedly. And the mother is naked. Now, one would assume if you want to think logically that some passer-by came by and kilter and kill the little kid. You would think, but that doesn't make sense either. Does it? I don't I don't think it holds water at all Georgian. I give you know. I I give the medical examiner's a difficult time because they don't want to dig hard. And really did a outstanding job. They should be doing. Did. They do, you know, David find the cellphone did she have a cell phone. She didn't have one. She didn't have one. But I have a cell phone in now nowadays, it's strange, but I talked about this case because there's a couple of points here that are important. And one of them is is that nobody develops hypothermia at one hundred yards walking life from a car number one number nobody's strips or clothing on a cold night. You know, number three the important point here is that the sheriff came out walk to the car, and he never saw the clothing or the bodies. So were they there when he was there? Two hours three hours earlier. This is strange. Very very very disturbing case. That's bothered me for a long time. And. I wish I understood how more about the facts behind it. But I think I've got them all and it it just just doesn't jive. You have to just wonder what the father what her husband if she was married when she married she was married and very happily married and the husband was just as you destroyed just unbe, you just this is something you don't get over. "Hundred yards of minute. It's growing pretty fast eight hundred yards minute. So anyway, as that's happening rub. There were still enjoying ourselves. But they're you know, you can't really sit outside there's Ashra down. And it was threat. I mean like it smell. You could see that would be a clear view is actually remember we're like why is it hazy smoke from the fire so that should happening? And then we go. Rang out. And then we get word. Oh, there's a fire in southern California. Well, let's that a year ago. There was the big Thomas fire a couple of those in the LA area. Remember when like the near the Getty was on fire Bel Air was on fire. So now valley was on fire last year. That's right. And we're big fires. Now, this one is like unprecedented. The way that it spread and the perfect conditions for fire because you have like what is it zero zero humidity, so Super Dry big Santa Anna winds gusts of up to sixty five miles an hour sometimes and yeah, just very dry conditions and a lot of brush drought for a million years and fire everywhere men, and usually I mean, those poor people that that in the Malibu area, they always get it. And it got it again. But this time it started to spread further south and east which threatens where we live as well. So I'm sure if you follow social media you saw Rogan evacuated. He lives west of us. But yeah, so we we had to you know, they're telling us we don't have we're not at the mandatory yet. But we also, you know, we have kids we have we have dogs, and you could see the smoke has grown you smell it outside. Now. It's okay. The town right head of ours evacuate. It has been since last night. So we're next on the call sheet just makes sense. I think it's the it's so smoky, and I don't I just don't want to get that panic like whether I go because that's does pantley. What's happening is by the time. They're telling you leave. It's like you don't have the time to collect your druthers. I dunno. It's tell you. It's it's really cry again, it's very emotional for me to see these fires because I grew up here. And I've seen Malibu burned down like how? How many times an unbelievable always burned down? But to see the valley kinda get it where I just I can't. It's so hard for me to even see it. I hate it is terrible. Yeah. It's scary too. Because you know, whatever it's scary. It's just very scary. I know you start seeing I mean fire is always scary. And you see these big fires. And they're showing last night. We're just seeing like all these homes just completely collapsed and cars on fire. And they're like, oh, these people died in their car. Go. Horrible stuff. And it makes you think like, well, you know, it's it's obviously possible that it could come over to our area. And so. We were close baby were like, it's like three streets do three streets three major streets. Yeah. Literally, no literally in. And that's another thing. I because because I grew up on these means streets. I'm like, oh my God. There's fire there. I know that neighborhood. That's my best friend's family is so anyway, we're getting the fuck out of here. But we thought well there's still time because we don't know when we can come back to our house. Yeah. Just to do this. And I know in a horrible scenario. I thought about it too. Like this studio could be gone could could be highly possible. And you know, we're packing. The essentials. We've got our lubricants. We got dildos till does rat bones. We got the fisting things. Flashlights? Yeah. Toilet paper, like all the real family important stuff. Well, I will tell you that when I saw Joe had evacuate. Did I was like oh shit. Like, we were still in Napa Valley, and he was with Marshall at a studio, and I'm like, oh, wow. Okay. Because he's our he's further west. And I'm like that means Jesus Christ. That's coming our direction. It's very scary. And that and so by the time we land, and we saw the fires from the airplane that we were in. It was just chaos. It's chaos..

"Could follow on Twitter at C pain to six how are you meant? Kevin. Yeah. I'm doing good Christian. I watched self pretty good any match ups you like in this game. The Thursday night match up between the Steelers and the Panthers. Yeah. Carolina believes it or not has given up the most fantasy for two opposing tie-down is believe it or not. So they answer McDonald's in a pretty good spot. Here. If you've got Tonio Brown, you're gonna play him James Tanner, your play him a little bit quiet the last couple of weeks, but he has the upside to go for over one hundred yards and a touchdown on any given day. I noticed side of the ball. Christian McCaffrey is having a huge season any block one hundred yards from scrimmage each and every game. Greg Olsen and Devin funchess's while believe it or not on just was really close to having a huge game last week that tackle twice at the one yard line. Otherwise, you know. Weeps fantasy points. So both quarterbacks are good options this week, especially with fourteen teams on the by. So I. The scheme. They have a lot of fantasy impact this week. Kevin the saints signed Dez Bryant if you're a fantasy owner looking to grab him is that a wise play. It's very polarizing this week. I known free agent budget. I saw somebody spend one third of their budget and the follow up was zero. Nobody else bid on him. So I mean, there's a few things you perspective in play here. Number one is even gonna play this weekend. I tell you know, he just got there with the team we saw with the Mary Thomas scripted like the first fifteen places to bid last week. To get him involved. I don't know that at this point of his career guys. Is going to have that big of an impact on a team with so much talent. As the thing. I also don't think that this is a really easy offense for him to pick up right away. Like, it's pretty complicated offense. So a lot of this. I think depends on how fast you can go ahead and pick that up it might be a few weeks. So again, very polarizing guy. We'll see how it works out. I think a lot of people in fantasy pick them up. With an eye towards the fantasy playoffs which typically starting weeks thirteen or week fourteen. So it'll be used to see how he comes along with the team. I think though that if I still rather have one player between him and trade Kwame Smith. I would rather have the rookie.

"Kobe's -ly getting done. I mean, that's an outlet for for what was your hundred yards? Two touchdowns in it was it really was the rushing because this these are the numbers that Dax was putting up when he was a quarterback, won't every single week. He was right around the two hundred yard passing range, but he would get a couple touchdowns and then he would run for forty yards. So if if Dak is going to run again, then that will change the the existence of Dak for fantasy purposes. Yeah, and I'll let that Barrett's off out on the waiver wire because there's no reason to go out and get him. He's traveling to Washington then has a by week, right? I don't think he's worth a pickup. I'm not excited to play him against washing, no, Matt, Ryan, goodness, three fifty four and three against Tampa. The most upset almost gained through that little lateral play at the end almost won the game for Tampa. Yes. If. Sean Jackson catches that lateral from Evans. "Three hundred yards and a touchdown only. Got sacked one time by the Philadelphia Eagles. And I would say he was out there. Earning his money week five out there. Earning his money and helping to avenge even though it wasn't his team helping to avenge the franchises embarrassing loss at the hands of the eagles in last year's NFC championship. It's after hours with Amy Lawrence on CBS sports radio Paul Allen with the call on the Vikings radio network. Interesting day for the NFC north the Chicago Bears are on a by. So you won't hear me. Talking about them. However, the Vikings go into Philadelphia and take advantage of an eagles team. That really is struggling scuffling struggling on offense. I don't know that you can pinpoint one thing over another. But it's mistakes. It's turnovers at the worst possible times. You got some really nice numbers for guys like Zach ertz. And even if you looked at Wednesday's numbers, you wouldn't think they were terrible. But man when they are in critical moments. Instead of coming up with the big plays the clutch plays. They're falling short. Now. Does that mean they are going to make the playoffs? They are going to be a contender. No. It's still only week five and the NFC east is wide open. But they shoot themselves in the foot and the Vikings. They took advantage. The Minnesota defense was stifling in this game. Not only did they force a fumble from JJ, yo, and what was the through the third of the three yard line. But they also held the eagles to two and nine on third down. There was the touchdown by the big, man. It might be your choice for TD of the week. We'll get to that on our next show. But gosh is worth listening to and talking about over and over again goes back to pass..

"Henny golladay Kenny g.. So smooth, you know what? Smooth. A hundred yards or a touchdown in all three games this year. Seven receptions, six or seven, six percents in. Marvin Jones with four each game. We've never let it play that long, but it was so smooth last night and look. He is starting into wide receiver sets. That's the big headline. Matthew Stafford trust him. He's got sticky hands. He missed a second touchdown by the back of his foot and deck on believable if he had come down with that, that would be one of the best receptions of the entire year. When he he turned into a sarcophagus and just fell over backwards. Just he knew then he missed it by an inch? Yeah. I mean, it was don't think an inch by a home. So Santoni. Oh home. I don't think inch even describing it was less than it was so close. I couldn't believe it when I watched it live. I was like, wait, I think he might have been in and then they showed the replaying it was a golden tastes on the sideline into, I'd receiver sets Matthew Stafford trusts and goes to kindergarten day new coaching staff new opportunity in a second season. This is a breakout for kindergarten, and it does not mean them are Jones is not startle. It just means that look, this is a. A team is gonna be throwing the ball year, and I think all as a wide receiver to Lewisham aboard this offense is he has to do it, Mike, see, you have to do, and then you believe it off already. Believe is certainly looking like it's going to be what we hoped and be a powerful fantasy offense. I would be I would go so far as to say that this offense will carry on. Snap. We're doubling up on the on the lions here. My rising star is carry on Johnson. It was a very nice game to watch, although it's funny, super, super excited right Detroit finally has the stat that is over about they just haven't had a one hundred yard rusher in. I believe it is one millennium now. Yes. Take kerryon. Johnson crosses the century Mark on only sixteen carries. He is averaging get this five point, fifty five. Yards per carry. First hundred Russia since two thousand thirteen. Yeah. I mean alliance. They were clapping for the one. He is great. The city is behind him. Ever decided Garrett, blunt city is behind. I'm not sure that. What about kiss kiss? Are you considering yourself a city in this situation? Tell you the city of Jason. The city of Jason is completely in support of carry on Jonah suburb in Detroit, Garrett blunt at the end of the game when they're trying to run the clock out fumbles the ball away. Another feather in the cap look send him to jail. Here's the send him to running back jail. Here's the truth about carry on Johnson. It's so infuriating watching legare blunt, get the ball and do so much less with the and it's not a situation where you can go, well, the arts were carries because he's getting it on third and one. No, they're getting the exact same type of carries carry on Johnson's just clearly superior that both had sixteen carries in this game, carry on Johnson over double the yards. Everyone knows it's coming, but look, Garrett blunt is not going away until he's injured. We will be a little bit frustrated, but my point in making carry on Johnson, the rising star is that he is now from here on out a star table player. He is not going to be a fantasy. See superstar until gear blunt gets out of the way. I don't think that happens till the second half the season or an injury..

"Eight hundred yards passing AJ green eleven hundred yards receiving John Ross. Remember that guy at least five touchdowns and the Bengals overnight and a half wins three of those. But your money where your mouth is sandwich time was John Ross five TD's at least five. So if we take you up on that, we believe that three of those four will happen. You're saying they will not. I'll take you up on that. I think Ross is maybe the toughest one of that group thirty. Eight hundred is a little much for the old red rifle, but in today's NFL that's basically that's basically an average year and the other two I do believe in, I think AJ green. That's gimme for him and the Bengals I put them at ten wins. I prefer Dan's nickname Dolton the glowing ginger men. Isn't it a shame that Andy, Dalton, never like a real nickname. They were stuck with the guy looks like that. So we're agreeing with Dan or disagree. I'm confused by the way it was phrased, but I'm saying three of those four things will happen. So you take on the challenge? Yes. So you're saying three of the four will not. I noticed you didn't say playoff win now, they're not gonna. I'm not crazy. It's been since the eighties. Wow, you know, it's a game where people hit each other, someone's going to get injured. I'm going to say that's not going to happen. I agree with you. All right. You guys remember when any Dalton got really offended because JJ watt, like comments about them after the game. Did you said he lacked class or something? Come on, let's come down. I, if you care, if you care, I will take you up to do there is a there is a trend of these two guys down at the end getting dropped out of the end of these betting rounds. All right, little speed round one last one, and we go quick young. If it's an air, let's hope it is. Is he wants big on, you ends. You gotta get pig on your plant. This one is a little in house one. Okay. Neither Greg west or Dan will win the lock it up challenge last year denied tied. There will be no Titus time. That was fluky. There's another way to say that, but yeah. Well, Tampa is he might win it. You never know. I'm going to take you up on that, and I'm..
