"In development as far back as the late seventies ultimately that protocol never rolled out for public use and also was never adopted as IPV five officially but back then no one was really sure how things were going to turn out and so they went with IPV six to be safe it expanded that bit number for addresses from thirty two to one hundred twenty eight and they don't look like IPV four addresses either and IPV six address consists of eight groups of four hexadecimal digits the hexadecimal system is a base sixteen that system so with a base ten system you started zero you go up to nine and then you start over right ten is just one zero and you can go up to nineteen which is just one nine and then you start over again now you go to twenty which is two zero and over and over again the hexadecimal goes up to sixteen but you really can't show that using just decimal numerals it it doesn't work that way so with hexadecimal you started zero you go up to nine and then to fill in the additional digits you use a sequence like a B. C. D. E. F. F. so in other words in hexadecimal it goes zero two F. before repeating each hexadecimal digit in this sequence of thirty two represents for bets also known as a noble so while each decimal is an IPV four in IPV four address represents an octet each digit and hexadecimal address represents a noble and no not making any that out four times thirty two is one hundred twenty eight so that's where you get the one hundred twenty eight bits what this means is that the effective number of addresses skyrockets if none of the addresses were reserved for special use you would have three point four times ten to the thirty eighth power of addresses so what is that in real numbers I'd love to tell you but the closest I can really get is three hundred forty trillion two hundred eighty two billion three hundred sixty six million nine hundred twenty thousand nine or thirty eight followed by twenty four zeroes it's more than enough for the foreseeable future even with such developments as the internet of things and IPV six address might look something like this and bear with me because again this is a long and somewhat confusing one F. T. eight zero colon zero zero zero zero colon zero zero zero zero Cullen zero zero zero zero Colin zero two zero two Colin B. three F. F. Colin F. E. one eat Colin eight three two nine each sequence of four digits has a colon separating it from its neighbors so it's essentially the same sort of purpose as the dot in the IPV four addresses in addition there are some nice tricks that you can use to abbreviate those long addresses if you have a leading zero in other words you've just gotten past the colon or maybe you're even in the very first octet then you get knocked out I'm sorry your in the first section any leading zeros you can drop you can just go to the first number that is not as zero also if you have a single range of zeros you can drop those and replace it with a double colon if you have several series of four zero you can drop all of those if they're all consecutive and replace them with a double colon so you might remember that when I was reading off that very long IPV six address there were a few segments that went zero zero zero zero well that means we could drop those and just put a double Colin in there that last address I read a minute ago if we were abbreviated that we can say was F. E. eight zero double colon two zero two colon B. three FF Colin F. E. one he'd call an eight.

"One hundred twenty six thousand dollars of the two fifty sitting in the non-qualified account and give that to husband. No planning mind. You we've got all that done. Now. What now I need to annuities. The balance, including the one point one in the IRA. So what I could do is I could take it all out now. Yeah, you're gonna pay four hundred fifty thousand dollars in tax easy. And I can do a Medicaid annuity transferring it to husband in this case, healthy spouse and wife would go on Medicaid. I can do that. And that will happen, folks. Either way that will happen this way. Neither husband nor wife. If you're listening, none of you without planning will ever go without. But even in that situation right. Let's say for the moment that we did planning, right? And now I would have been able to protect only the six hundred and the two fifty right. Non non retirement amount. Okay. Great. That's protected because we did Medicaid planning, aren't you still faced with the one point one million dollar question? Yes, you are. No matter what. And it's not such an easy question to answer even then even when you're faced with fourteen thousand dollars a month to the nursing home, I might look at the husband and say, how. Hold your wife any else. She's eighty five okay? How's she doing? You know, has the doctor said, you know what? Hostesses. Is there any, you know, is there a risk of potentially her not making it more than a year or two? You know what? What's going on with their health? Here's why you have to ask that question because if we agree to go get on Medicaid, and we liquidate the IRA and give it to the husband, and we write a check to the government for four hundred and fifty thousand dollars. And she dies a year later, right? Wow. You're now kicking yourself you're saying, oh my goodness. I could have done nothing and paid one hundred thousand dollars to the nursing home, and not four hundred and fifty thousand in taxes. Because now that money's gone because after her income is probably about one hundred grand a year. Costs. Exactly. So that decision folks is always hard, and that's going to mean you, he's gotta have a prognosis of living at least four and a half years. I'm paying that privately before it would make sense to cash, it all out. And so, in this case, I explained all that to them, and it made sense for them that no as long as both of us are taken care of, we're still going to save money and we're and we're not going to be in these air vocal trust. And we did revoke trust for them. Still avoid probate still eliminated estate taxes. All good things. And most importantly, we provided for the bloodline divorce proof planning protections, and the generation skipping tax benefits that go along with it. So it worked out. There is so much that can be accomplished folks. What type of trust is right for you? I don't know. Maybe you don't know either but Todd's guide that he has written for the month of June..

"In has a great tenant in generating seven hundred twenty five dollars a, a second real estate property that we're currently using as an Airbnb also doing very well. One hundred thirty seven thousand on it, and then we have our primary residence which we owe two hundred and ninety thousand dollars on it. Household income household income. Nodding clued Indian come from, Airbnb is a hundred twenty five thousand gross. Okay. My wife. We found out a couple of months ago she is currently pregnant. Thank you. My question to you, sir is how much of this should we get rid of to get rid of this dad, and what, what should we do? I'm willing to do whatever we need to do. This is all new territory for us. We, you know. All of the past year. We, we are contemplating selling our primary resident taking the equity that we would get out at which would be probably probably close to a hundred and sell into rental property as well. Which I probably get about somewhere around sixty five four it, and we're even thinking about putting all that toward the debt, including the Airbnb just living there. I personally don't want to get rid of the primary residents team. I'm just really not sure what to do. Well, the good news is to panic about here. You've just been heading in the wrong direction. We gotta stop get off the exit and Toronto back in the right direction that changes your your, you know, your progress substantial just by going, the right way, rather than the wrong way. And then the only thing we do just be how fast are we go? Once we're going the right way. That's the only question right? So, you know, obviously, we're gonna cut up the credit cards. Obviously, we're going to get on a budget, obviously, or going to be on a scorched earth budget, especially until baby becomes, and we want us, you know, we will not going to not only not borrow anymore, but we're going to start to build up a really big saving. So that after baby comes we can start our I want to attack the debt plan. Okay. Let's pretend you know, rental properties for a second, and he just had this house, and you make a hundred twenty thousand dollars a year. Pay off seventy seven thousand a couple of years. Okay. You may just cash flow it out of your budget. Right. And then you'd have your house, and the seventy seven thousand paid off. So the only benefit of selling a rental is to excel right that plan. So the little rental that's paid for. It's worth what? Somewhere around sixty five. Okay. All right. So, and the Airbnb is worth what? Probably about one forty so about what you on it. Yes, we just we just got it. Okay. And, and that's where some of this, where all of this came from obviously other student loan. And so we just started that we are. We're ready. We've few months already. I mean, we don't use credit cards. I've actually liquidated just about anything I can so far. Canada cash gotten rid of those already. So we do have about twenty grand. Oh, good. That's good. How old are you? I'm forty and she's thirty five this your first baby. Yes, sir. Awesome. Very good. What's wonderful times? Good for you. Okay. So nothing to panic about, you can decide what you wanna do. I don't really want to own real estate that is only worth what I owe on it. That's not fun to me..

"We have three hundred twenty two five two two two. Let's go on to Rafael Rafael, go ahead. Hi, I was just talking to your call screener? And I just kind of letting them know that I think parents in good faith. They wanted their children to kind of get out of the blue collar industry and start working more with their minds and less what their bodies that just nowadays like blue collar workers looked down upon and I was just talking to your call screener. And he's like, you know, if there's some plumbers that are making a hundred twenty K here some. One hundred fifty zero this is this is listen this has been a point of contention for people like they don't even realize. Well, we've closed all the trade school this week. We're gonna need people doing these jobs on the John's are well compensated, and they're stable well, contact even if you make like one hundred fifty K a year, they're still looking at you that blue collar work, and that somehow that that it's not as desirable as what you know, a certain group of people. Yeah. Yeah. I think you're right now my dad, my dad was like Ma that's craving make that kind of money. Go from my dad was a blue collar worker. So he thought that was great that divides right now. And and everything all the parents are trying to push him into white collar work, and because of that creative kind of millennial where you have to work in a corporate cube, and, you know, working in a greasy autoshop making ninety K a year. It's interesting. How's that working out? Right. Because how many times have we heard these stories? These these kids are incurring incredible debt in college. Getting you know, sometimes these degrees that don't really translate into the real world, but they go to college get these degrees. And then they're like a barista at Starbucks pissed off that they're having to pay this incredible debt back for school. And they're not getting the job that they thought that they were you know, they should demand right out of college. And you know, then there's Joe who got a trade job right out of school making one hundred fifty grand being a plumber, or, you know, the construction guy who's laughing. Now, I you know what I mean. It just I think it's entitlement. I think that when they when they got a good degree. They're like they showed they're entitled to a great paying job. You're right. And I think they think that right out of school blue collar worker, whether like, you know, I'm not entitled to a great paying job. I'm gonna rain hard to get in. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and hard work, and sweat is just part of the job. It is interesting. The word entitlement did not come up until just now half hour to this conversation. And I'm wondering I think Rafael's we sorta got into with Aaron in terms of expectations expectations and everything going. Well, so, but I agree. It doesn't feel entitlement. Feels the more grandiose. It doesn't feel like the millennials are guilty of that so much. They just have maybe the parents starting with the parents, you know, so it's it's kind of trickling down that millennials are like, well, you know, I mean, the vendor mindset sort of kind of like, you know, I don't wanna do that kind of job. I'm going to do this. I don't need to learn how to change my own oil or my own car because somebody else can do that. For me. I have the money to pay somebody AAA to do that for me. I don't need to learn how to get my hands dirty because other people do that. What they don't have the money. He's you're right. You're right. They don't have the money. You know, I have to say this unit. Randy Wang, who's on the morning show when I used to do the morning show this really happened in real life. He's a millennial. He's in his thirties. But when he was going to prom in school. He was in a car with three girls they got a flat tire. Guess what? They did not call triple A. He stood by the road while the three girls change the tire. That's no joke. There's photographic evidence. And he admits that he didn't know how to change the tire and the girls in their prom. Dress has changed the way to give Randy group about that. So well, thank you, Rafael important information. Funny, isn't it? Roy. What? Yeah. Exactly. Rights to five to two let's say. AM seven ninety KABC..

Names for the little John residents. And it does have a unique history. And you know, it's a lot of work, but it's a labor of love. "Have about three hundred twenty four thousand dollars in their retirement account, not bad, but now person to who's paying two per cent. They're going to have four hundred thirty two thousand and person. One who is only paying one percent. They're going to have five hundred and seventy four thousand dollars. Now, quite a difference is the bottom line is same investment amount. Same returns different fees. And the person is paying one percent has almost twice as much as a person paying three. So you don't think fees have an impale do hidden fees. Fees are insidious like a cancer. You look at the statement that you receive at the end of the month. You see if you have mutual funds. Next to the mutual fund. See if you see the letter C L within a the COO means Lhasa class-a mutual fund, pending on what family of funds, you're in you that means you could be paying between three and eight percent for voter a backload to a mutual fund three to eight percent. And then you're probably paying a one percent management fee. Besides so this is what we're saying it gets to be ridiculous out there. And we see it day in and day out where people come to us with a portfolio, and we realize that the adviser is making more than the clients more than the client, and whose money is being lost the clients advisors. But this is what happens if you go to somebody that works at a Bank or an insurance company or brokerage house. That is why we always say, please get true for douche regards for someone that will put your retirement ahead of their own. And that's what we do at grand capital advisors. You know, we get salaries. No one sells anything our goal is to make sure. Sure that we give you the best guy giving advice, we can we can give you new savvy, but you know, talking about fees. Or in any place such as New Jersey? But you know, when we're talking about home renovations. And we talk about that a lot on the show how to increase your home's value part of what makes homes valuable and part of what makes model homes. Great are. When you go in them. You get an emotional connection to them. You can fill yourself living there. A lot of times everything's pretty neutral because that's the style right now. But if you put your mind at a place about twelve thirteen years ago about the time that the real estate market crashed. You can picture exactly what I'm talking about a lot of Mediterranean. Lot of a lot of Italian style decor, very Tuscan dark reds, and you know. Back then we're just a tad bit different to have a little more bold. I'll say bolt, but when you know, those people that stuck that out and lived in those homes for for a long time. And they've seen their value. Come back a lot of them are ready to sell. But you know, part of that is that, you know, especially when we go meet with people, your kitchen's, not newly remodeled if it was remodeled twelve years ago, you know, your your house is not newly remodeled if you did.

You can't say it's a real fan go, especially if you say hidden now, I think you're fine Lydia Todd sorry about that. Okay. Yeah. I'm I'm getting confused. I'm old and crazy anyway. Yeah. You're absolutely fine. All right. Allie europe. Welcome to handle on the law. Morning bill. Yes, sir. Couple of months ago. I sold my car and the person pulled up car reeked of marijuana. They were high they purchased the car they took it. Next morning. I started getting threatening messages on my phone. Basically. Car. All right. Threatening messages saying what? You don't know who you're dealing with. You don't think I'm gonna do to you? I went to the police department. They said it has to be more precise and exact. All right. Okay. Then they bring the car, and they drop it off on my driveway. I see it on my camera. I call the sheriff's department. I need them across the street. I told him the situation they come. They look they see that the cars parked there. Unoccupied with the vehicle. With the with a Q on the vehicle. Okay. So she has the title. I saw the door, and and you have the money, right? I have the money and she okay fair enough. I I gave her smart. Check is required by law. Immediately. I do a release of liability, right and. She's mean for nine thousand six hundred something dollars based on what she has the car you sold it. I. What does she suing you for for the price of the car based on? What exactly I don't know that? Well, there has to be a reason. Do you have a lawsuit in front of you have been served? Yes. I have been served. Okay. What isn't okay? And based on what just reimbursement for monies pay. That's all it says for an automobile, I paid cash on reprise. That's it. That's what it is. That's what the lawsuit is. Okay. That'll be going front you go in front of the court. What is supreme court or is it small claims small claims court? Okay. Then you show up you go here. It is. Here's a picture of the car. She brought it back. I don't know why she paid for it registered in her name. I don't know what to do your honor. She didn't it doesn't matter. So it's okay. So it's you're so you own the car now. Owns the car now. Okay. So the title is in your name. Well, first of all she's not going to get any money. Okay. All right. That's not gonna happen. It's a legitimate. It's a legitimate sales. So and and she's not saying you breached, she's not saying you defraud her. She's not saying the car was misrepresented issue in the lawsuit. No, absolutely. All right. So she's sewing I want my money back. Yeah. But the price of the car was a little over three thousand and she's suing for nine thousand something. And why would she get nine thousand? I'm just curious three thousand one hundred thousand of course. Get the maximum amount. That's correct. Ten thousand is correct. That's correct. And if the maximum was fifteen thousand you for fifteen thousand and there are a couple states a couple of states where it's actually twenty five thousand dollars in small claims court, and she would have sued you for twenty five thousand dollars after you pay three thousand dollars. How do you think that's gonna fly in small claims court? Yeah. So anything I should say they just tell your story to the judge. And that's it. That's it. Make it short make it sweet. You don't want to just go on and on. I would write it out. So you know, exactly what you're saying. Judges have less patients than I do and to add to that the sheriff's department wanted me to have the car towed off my driveway because blocking my driveway, then tow it up and show it off the driveway in sue her well off the driveway put into storage yard sooner. I put it on the street. Come pick it up and she picked it up. All right. Well, that's what she's allowed to abandon the the the car, and you have to go to the DMV and tried to get the car out of your name and say it was here's the Bill of sale, and it's not registered and whatever the DMV says to do to get you off title. And I think the DMV just has a way of doing it. Now, the good news about the. Yeah, I checked and her name is already somehow showing paperwork as me releasing the liability to her. Okay. To her name yet. But if you've released a liability, then you should you should then you should be. Okay. Then you should be. Okay. You shouldn't you shouldn't have a problem. And the other thing about going to the DMV. It's always fun to go to the DMV. Because if you have any vacation time coming ten days two weeks just get in line at the DMV and enjoy yourself.
