"Bob that allows eavesdropping. Yeah. Apple status page page shows the group calling via FaceTime is temporarily unavailable. That's stopgap move while the company to deliver more about permanent fix to this problem this week. They say we're unable to set up a group call when we tried having earlier been able to do so and replicate the issue all being well, this fix means that the users don't need to completely disable the FaceTime. Bog? But some people say that was still eavesdropping as as folks we're using it and before and after this is pretty interesting. This is in tech crunch. Apple disables, a group calling in FaceTime in response to this eavesdropping bug that has popped up overnight. So yeah, the bug relies on what appears to be a nasty logic screw up and face times group call system now while we're opting not outlined the steps. Here. The bugs seems to trick the recipients phone into thinking a group called is already ongoing and a few quick taps face time immediately trips over itself and while fires up the recipients microphone. What Ashley even knowing that they accepted the call man now where do yet if the recipient passes pressured the volume button down or the power button to try to silence or dismissed the call their camera turns on as well now through the recipients phone display continues to show the incoming call screen. They're microphone and camera. Are streaming. That's that's that's fixed that that. That's bad news. Somebody's getting hit somebody's going to be exposed in some way. They do not want to be exposed. And having has not happened already. Either with words pictures or both that it is not good six forty nine here on the toddler, Don show and this morning in Austin police officer was involved in in a shooting this morning. Yes. And joining us here all the news line is Ken Cassidy. Yes. From the Austin police association, canned good morning. It's been a very dangerous twenty four hours for Texas police officers it really have guys them. You know, the reason I'm calling is to just let them know that please pay attention to what's going on in the United States right now. And that's in my opinion, a war on police officers. You you have these activists groups that are out there saying that were viciously murdering innocent people the country. The the facts are that were not released a bunch of statistics on the false narratives that has been portrayed city council bar council. Members of a few of them are mayor and several other peoples in the state and people need to start paying attention to what's going on around him because the state is getting more violent. And now you're saying police officers dropping like flies on a daily basis around this country. I think we've had maybe five or six this year already killed in the line of duty. We've had several we've had several officer involved shootings today. We had a a deranged. The person pointed a gun at a police officer. You know, when you have that happens. It's going to end up in a a bad situation. Ten times out of ten times. It's just not the gun play in the state is out of control one thing. I'd like for you guys to do is look at the press conference from Herman hospital last night, the tree foster Vado had and and listen to the words of job them all the who's the president of the police union down there. Yeah. Fantastic speech and laid it out in about one minute. My what's going on in this country with the false narrative against police officers in the violence towards police officers. It's it's very tragic there in Houston. They were serving a search warrant, and you mentioned the president of the Houston police union here is we are sick and tired of having dirtbags trying to take our lives. When all we're trying to do is protect this community and protect our families enough is enough. And you can hear the frustration. The emotion. Yeah. There in his voice Canada. And I know you share the same feeling here locally as well. I do and, you know, thank God every day that we live in a safer community than they do in Houston. An extremely violent city talking. She Veda recently, there's areas of that city that the police officer cannot go by themselves. You have to have multiple police units. Go to certain neighborhoods, and you know, that's a shame and their their robberies and and their gang activity in Houston is off the charts when they made a lot of help. Yeah. Absolutely. It's interesting, and you know, more about this than I do having a police presence. Is important. Just a police officer being seen in a uniform sometimes will deter crime. Well, I think it does all the time. Right. I mean, bad guys don't want to see cops in uniform changes my thinking, but I bring this up because the entertainment district on some evenings can be incredibly dangerous. We had a gay couple that were attacked in the entertainment district just a couple of weeks ago, and what appears to be some sort of hate crime attack. And then you've got the you've got the businesses that are dealing with the, you know, the urination the fornication the defecation of hobos behind their businesses there along Red River, and we're gonna put a fence up for that. Let me ask you this because I never see this. I never see Austin police officers in uniform being the security at the front door of bars and restaurants downtown why is that? No, you don't chief also Vado got rid of that privilege years ago. You know, there are ways you can do it. There are certain departments where you can work at bars. But you're not allowed to go in until you have a backup officer there. But just seeing the armed presence in front of a business will keep a lot of the the junk. Dirtbags out of the businesses. Paid for by the bars day pay the overtime, but that officer being there for four or five hours providing security, it doesn't it doesn't hit the taxpayers. The bar owner pays it. And it's a way for you guys to make a little side money. Definitely be interested in looking about. Again. I know that that will be a challenge for our our our chief Aaron Austin when you work at a bar. No, everyone, you're working around is intoxicated. But just just like I said earlier just having someone at the front door. There's a presence would be a huge help. Well, you you're not gonna it's gonna prevent fights. Good for business. You're not gonna have the teenager try to sneak into buy drinks. Right. I mean, if the officers they're checking ID's, and I think it would help the patriots have an overall just better experience. I would feel more secure more relaxed. Absolutely. I would enjoy the evening. Can we had a story last week where one hundred and ten police officers shorted were really starting to run through our overtime budget with this war on cops with this what the city council that is well proven that it really doesn't care a whole lot about cops. That's for sure. How difficult is it to recruit how do you recruit young people to be police officers? It's very difficult, especially with the environment that you just talked about. But you know, there's a national trend. Near they're on the verge of disaster in Dallas, Dallas two thousand police officers short. And you know, thing we don't we don't, you know, in good economies, which we have right now, we have a very strong economy. We typically don't do well in hiring. We do a lot better than the down markets years ago. Remember two thousand and eight thousand nine we hired a lot of people from Dell and the tech community, which are very high quality, very intelligent people that have made great police officers force. But these days you have all the departments around the state, but are anywhere from one hundred and eight people like we are to two thousand bodies shorts and Dallas when you're fighting over a very small pool of candidates, man. You know, the other issue is, you know, everyone likes to talking you hear the mayor talk about how we're the highest paid police pharma well in certain areas, we are in certain areas. Or not. And you gotta take into consideration the cost of living here which runs off a lot of people in a lot of candidates. It's the most expensive city to be a police officer and deliver here period. But I I would think what Dallas short two thousand that may be some of your biggest competition and trying to hire the best. Because if they if they're short two thousand they may pay a little bit more actively recruiting you got major cities short police officers that starts affects the smaller departments. Dallas did not take care of their tops for years. They did not pay them a professional salary now they're going through negotiations and they're getting ready to get the fifteen to twenty percent pay raise. So finally, Dallas has opened its eyes and they're doing the right thing. But unfortunately for them, that's my hometown. As many many many years get out from that whole, can I appreciate it. Thanks for calling and Kim Cassidy from the police union. I appreciate you Don show. It was a major game changer when Dr Daniel slaughter eliminated my snoring. Hi, good morning. "Com. Facebook Twitter, Instagram Email. All right. They're glad to have you along for the ride. Kerry's at breaking news just coming in. Yes. It is. If you don't mind bring me that please what's going on Houston from ABC thirteen several Houston. Police officers have been shot according to Houston police department chief art survey, though, Houston police union, president Juergen Mony confirmed five officers were hit and used to mayor Silvestre Turner tweeted the suspect is also down the incident happened late Monday afternoon, the seventy eight hundred block of Harding and southeast Houston. It's a developing situation. That's all we have right now. Five officers were shot. Pretty tight with with chief ASA Vado. He used to be the guy in in Austin. And he went to Houston. I will I will reach out to him. And and try to find out what's going on as well. But man, I certainly thoughts and prayers after those police officers, I'm glad whoever the bad guy is is is sounds like he's not a threat anymore. But we don't want any conditions or anything. Right. And we don't I'll try I'll keep looking updates soon. Appreciate you bringing me that as soon as you get something. Let us know. The meantime, let me go to AJ Jay. Hold on AJ. Hey, hey. I screwed up. So. Yeah. Thank you. I appreciate you. Hey, it's Monday. Goes up to the police officer. That's off the hardy toll road, a weird, you know and saying brother, but a you know, like I said when Obama said police acted stupidly look like everybody is against them. They're saying it now jetty. Do you watch live PD you ever watch that show? You see when the police pull somebody over? I mean, there was an episode this past weekend where the police pulled somebody over and the person who was in South Carolina. I believe and a person for was black just happened to be the woman driving and her husband was in the passenger seat. He got all riled up. He's a veteran of this that and the other and he's screaming and yelling about how harassed and they're getting disrespected. There's no reason pulled us over because there's nothing, you know, why you pulled us over and so on and so forth. And and the cop actually showed the woman, your your license plate light doesn't work and in this state. It's required to work. That's why pulled your I'm just going to give you a Wang. And Saint John your way why you didn't have to this that AJ. There is such an attitude when when anybody has any sort of a meet up with a contact with a police officer, and you know, damn right? You're right. It was Obama speed at a leader. Obama says these people acted stupidly. Obama says these people are wrong. Just that every case that police were were responding to this is the America we live in. Now. How do we change it? Motown. You can't change idiots. That's for sure. And the only thing we all would be always telling motel comply. That's all you gotta do if you don't like go to the courts and get your lawyer. If you don't like it don't get in the middle of the street of act Apu, you gotta get better than that. But hey back the idiots. See I don't watch the. On sunday. Right. I don't watch him. I love you. Call. This is the second is going to be called update on the idiots with AJ. Hey, daddy. Get a check. I was in Fredericksburg at the tea party deal. Okay. We will go up there. And I sent you a picture of a man, CJ, whistle pro and a pitcher. Where's the logic tests? And we all can, you know, talking partial Stoneham in Fredericksburg sent that far from me. I didn't know you guys were up. They should let me know. Well, I'm gonna let you know when the next one because I talked to my time Motown man, Joe pags, everybody. Hey sweating. And when I told all you watch it school kids who your teachers are all you watch the liberals they've been added well since nineteen twenty s while we working to take care, blah, blah, blah, blah about. Guess this morning. And what do they come home with the liberal teachers colleges, and then I had schools? Believable and everybody you have to late show. Your child is being taught right watch what they come home with because these liberals out here. Now, you know, I ramble a Monday Camilla hair's wet now she sounded like Obama. A nice. She does. Yeah. But yeah. But we also had some guy some judger somebody said they had an affair twenty years ago. And yeah, he gave her promotions because they were together. That's how she moved up through the right? So that's that's who this person is that thinks she's going to be the president. Really? Oh my God. Hey, become Motown. The media really want to do the job and do it, right. If they really would the the corruption in the quilts, go to the democrat party, if you are listening to the democrat party our ratings, right? Get better. Where all the corruption seems to be. Well, town come on, man. And now watch this shoop read up under the watch it shoot read up on the desk. And ain't nobody gonna talk about it watch it at a locale. We got to make sure that these borders. Are they got more coming in? They come in here and the price of wait a minute Obama for liberals look pick the border all these people trying to get in here. Right. That Trump giving them three weeks now. The dams are on the negative. The Dem's are going to make a deal. He's going to have to do. He's going to do the disaster or emergency declaration to stop it in court. But he's got to stand by his promise AJ, if he doesn't stand by this promise, he's gonna have a hard time getting reelected now, I think you and I would probably vote for him, maybe even holding our noses. But he's gotta do that promise. He said he would build the wall. There's got to be a wall at the border wall a barrier some sort of a physical something on that on that on that border or else. He's just going be another politician. And we don't believe that. That's who he is. Exactly ereck week. And I think thinking wheel and the ball was in the Democrats courts. Let's see what happened Motown, absolutely. Keep it burning baby. We always appreciate the call in the Monday open line now eight nine four one eight eight nine four one seven two four seven carry. Let me know anytime. You've got more information what's happening in Houston. Let us know. And again, those just joining us the reports are what is it. The south east side. Yes, I believe so five officers shot in the neighborhood and southeast Houston, so five officers shot and the and the whoever it was that they were dealing with also as down, but we don't have conditions on any body. We'll have what led up to anything else. Right. All the only recent thing we have is four were taken by ambulance for officers. One officer was airlifted to the hospital. All right again. We're we're praying for them. They're out there. They put on the uniform everyday and have no idea with they're going to face. And we appreciate the work. They do let me go back to it and say, by the way, I opened the show with with the comparison between this idea fair gaming from Scientology and the exact same thing happening for the Democrats. If you dare say anything do anything wear a hat say words that people if you say make America great again, you're going to be fair gained. And it's gonna be immediate. If you've got a big enough footprint, you will be attacked by the media. The legacy media. Everybody will say the same thing about U everybody until they're proven wrong. Then the very quietly retract Hollywood will say big sports will say it academia will say it. It's down the line. It is absolutely are in lockstep. It is very much like any big government socialist or communist takeover of freedoms. And liberties, they want you to shut up you have no freedom or liberty. You don't say what they want you to say. This is really happening in our great country. Let me go to Joe in Florida. Joe what's going on? Joe thanks for the call. You bet. Why don't you tell me about solid dollars? Yeah. I watched the show. Religiously no pun intended. But I'll do it every time. I watch this show. I keep picking about the time. The Democrats allowed that play that thing that become a religion by making it a nonprofit organization nineteen ninety two that was frigging Bill Clinton. And it's a won't be utopian religions if the Democratic Party if they had a utopia will allow to just and they would probably be the state religion what besides the happening nineteen hundred. If it happened in nineteen ninety two George Herbert Walker. Bush Clinton took office in ninety three. Right. It was right after that. They want signed it in. Okay. Yeah. I use the right. The bell the race. When they try to push board, right? What's happening is that Scientology is that fair game concept came straight from Saul Alinsky sold book, you know, Radic rules radicals, and they love it. That's exactly what they want. He'll be one of the state religions along with Islam, and and radical environmentalism Joe does does the comparison. I make mates make sense to you. I mean to me it makes sense. And it's exactly the same thing that happens from the left to anybody in this country. Yeah. That's one of the techniques bent. So when you said that I watch and I'm just thinking about the liberals in this country. Have exactly what they would want that kind of a a relive Thapa religious burp ferocity right now. So yeah. Yeah. I I hear you. And I and I appreciate what you said. It's an open line now. Eight eight nine four one eight eight eight nine four one seven four two seven. It's interesting. What they'll do they'll lie. They'll misconstrue they'll make it up. They'll pretend Bill put it out there that you what did they do to to take Reuss? During the campaign. They said Kerry, this is why didn't work because they weren't smart enough that you say it was one mistress is that it was five. I remember that. Yeah. And they were just pictures out of the blue and pictures that were easily identifiable, by the way and has five mistresses, and and just every bad thing. They could think of when they thought Ted Cruz was going to was going to really have a chance to be the nominee. I mean, he came in second place. What did I say Sam? He said seven four two seven seven two four seven summit saying the phone number. Really? You just did it this one time it smells strange. It's bells.
