It's so important because not only are you formally of the house Intel committee, but you are also former FBI, former U.S. Army and you've got a great understanding of what's going on here. So thanks for being with us on America first. I am honored to be here. Thanks for having me. So let's start a little bit about what happened today. You see this 21 year old air guardsman from Massachusetts in federal court, Jack to share is his name. The mainstream news media going crazy to creating this pile of things. He was a God guy. He was a gun guy. He's an extremist guy. He looks like a 21 year old kid, but he did allegedly distribute some classified information. What do you make of his arrest and the charges today? Well, I mean, I think this is very, very serious. I mean, everybody is going to paint their political canvas on this, but what you have is somebody that fit the same profile, by the way, of Chelsea Manning. Do you remember he was in a very similar job? His job was to control basically a traffic cop for information flying across both secure and unsecure data transmissions. This is the same individual in a different place who also had this sense of in grand eisman. He thought, hey, you know, I could be important. I should be important. Nobody's noticing me. Intelligence work can be pretty lonely stuff if you really get down to it. So I think there's a lot of similarities and what he did. He'd knowingly broke the law. This isn't something that he accidentally did it. He knowingly broke the law. He puts things out there that he likely knew would harm the United States of America. And I don't think this is done yet either. So you think about it, I've read the affidavit. It's pretty thin. And we know that there's a lot more to the story, meaning that they went back to December and we're finding release of information December, January up till now, and we know that there were Russians in the chat room. Now, as an old FBI guy, I would say that's a clue.

"Document. There's information in there that's not readily available. He sounds very knowledgeable and very brazy about it. And you have to remember that this is at a time a month before he joined the burisma board. He needed money desperately and to fit his drug habit. And they were going to pay him $83,000 a month to do not very much. And obviously they were paying for his proximity to his father. And he was showing, as he never did again, his value to them. And of course, having access to classified information would make his price much higher. So that's sort of the motion for it. The other thing about it is that it's very easy, I think, for the special counsel Robert her to immediately just clear up whether or not hunter had access to classified information by just cross matching that email and other information on the laptop with the information in those classified documents. It's very easy to figure out if Joe Biden was a part and parcel component to the trafficking of U.S. classified information through his son. Show us the laptop, show us what you know about hunter, cross reference it with the documents you took and if nothing's in there, nothing's in there. Keep in mind, I've drawn no conclusions from it at all. I am simply candidly and straightforward and straightforward asking a question. Are the documents Joe Biden took mentioned in Hunter Biden's laptop? And Howard hunter get them? Well, from his dad. That his dad know, I mean, are these not serious questions? "Do that. So I think we might be able to win some things there and we're certainly going to do that. We're going to need all the tools in our arsenal to try to get the country back and social media plays a role in this. I want to get your opinion about Facebook and Instagram, meta, inviting president Trump back onto those platforms, Twitter did show a couple of months ago. He has yet to tweet. He has yet to really indicate whether he's going to go back. I know he's got his own platform truth social. I don't know about you. I don't know about you, mister chairman, but I smell a rat. I feel a setup coming. I don't trust them. I don't think they're doing this out of the goodness of their heart. Would you advise president Trump to go back to these platforms or do you think he ought to stand pat with through social and stay away from Facebook and Twitter and Instagram? I leave that toll that president Trump, however, he wants to. I mean, he's one of the greatest communicators ever. I think he'll do what he wants to do there. What I want to get to the bottom of is what we've now learned because of Elon Musk, what we've now learned about this cozy relationship between big government and big tech and how they work to keep information from the American people. And again, God bless Elon Musk for the Twitter files. I've been reading through these now. I mean, it is truly unbelievable what they did and the bias that exists inside a big tech, and then to have the FBI encouraging that bias to keep information from we the people, days and weeks before the presidential election two years ago. I mean, this is unbelievable. So we are going to look at that issue because it is so fundamental to how our First Amendment is supposed to work and how it was how it was assaulted by these folks in the last couple of years. I'm also really intrigued that after two years all these tech giants have decided, yeah, now president Trump can come back. Why? What changed? What's different? If you're justification is that you're a prominent presidential candidate and you have a right to be heard, that standard should have applied two years ago. Yeah. Yeah, he should have never been kicked off. The idea that what was a Twitter kicked off president Trump at the eye toll it could still tweet on his platform. I mean, it made no sense. It made no sense whatsoever. It was a direct attack on the First Amendment because government people were encouraging it. There's one example where Adam Schiff was trying to get a journalist taken off of one of these plaque members of his Facebook or if it was Twitter. But you got the head of the House Intel committee, the key leader in the impeachment effort, trying to get a journalist taken down. I mean, talk about a direct attack on freedom of the press First Amendment freedom of the press. I mean, that is the kind of stuff that is scary. And frankly, it's the judiciary committee of the House of Representatives is supposed to be the committee. Most concerned about protecting the constitution, the Bill of Rights, our fundamental liberties, and to have someone like Adam Schiff attacking that and Jerry Nadler, I think in many ways the Democrats on the committee supporting that is just wrong..

Kevin McCarthy Makes It Official: Schiff and Swalwell Are Out
"Idea that the likes of Adam Schiff remember the shift show, or Eric swalwell, remember fang fang, or Ilhan Omar, some bad things happened. I mean, the idea that any of these people have such incredibly important sensitive positions or hat, I should say in the past tense within our government is pretty alarming. Now, okay, I get it, they're elected officials. Nonetheless, even as elected officials one has to, and this is where the Speaker of the House comes in and why he or she, in some cases, Nancy Pelosi is so important. One has to exercise some judgment over who is given certain committee positions. You think about the house Intel committee and the kind of information that you are exposed to. Adam Schiff is such a political animal. Do not forget that. That he was right out there manipulating the public into thinking certain things were true. Russia Russia, Russia, that absolutely were not. And I think that's pretty unforgivable and speaks volumes about who he is as a person and as a politician. When you are on the house Intel committee, you need to kind of be above all that, right? Okay, we get it. You're out there in your district, pushing a certain narrative. But when it turns in such the way that the shift show did and become so overtly political, that's when it becomes, I'll use this word dangerous. And so Adam Schiff does not deserve a position on the intelligence committee because of that. The other person that doesn't deserve a position on the intelligence committee and this one should be pretty obvious. I mean, when our own intelligence is investigating a relationship, a lawmaker had with someone that was believed to be a Chinese spy, I'm talking fang fang, I mean that is, to me, total disqualifier. I mean, I'd get the guy right out of the house. And he ought to have been voted right out of his position, but it's pretty darn obvious that he can not be on the intelligence committee, because he doesn't have, shall we say enough intelligence himself to beware of the threats all around him, like

"This constant controversy about whether or not Eric swalwell, who almost assuredly slept with a Chinese spy and Adam Schiff, who was just a pathological liar, should be on the house Intel committee. Now Kevin McCarthy, who many of you in this audience, you were rather brutal and dare I say it cruel towards Kevin McCarthy, made a promise when he wanted to become Speaker of the House that he was not going to put swalwell or shift on the committees. And he's making good on that promise, and the Democrats are losing their mind. The Speaker of the House has the ability to block certain members of Congress from going on committees. Kevin McCarthy is using that power and he is basically sending a memo and a message to the Democrats. You guys keep on screening us the way you did with the January 6th committee. You try to block some of our members from committees. We're not going to play ball with that. We're not going to allow Elon Omar and swalwell and Schiff to be able to sit on these Intel committees that require not just access to you have access to confidential information, but they leak it regularly. They abuse it, and by the way, Omar was foreign affairs just to be clear. Who's to say that Eric swalwell, who slept with the Chinese spy, would not continue to misuse or abuse classified or confidential information. Isn't that the whole saga right now is around the mishandling of classified information? Let's go to cut 57, McCarthy speaks about his decision to keep Adam Schiff from sitting on the intelligence committee, play cut 57. What Adam Schiff did use his power as a chairman and lied to the American public, even the inspector general said it. When Devin Nunes put out a memo, he said it was false. When we had a laptop, he used it before an election to be politics and say that it was false and said it was the Russians. When he knew different. So no, he does not have a right to sit on that. So yes, he can serve on a committee, but he will not serve on Intel, because it goes to the national security of America. And

"Was trying to reduce the number of agencies with access to Yolo Roth. House you director Carlos manche said, if these folks are like homeland, committee and DHS, once we give them a contact with Joel, they'll want to come back to him again and again. Apparently the GEC was using Intel from other agencies to insert themselves into the content moderation club that included Twitter, Facebook, the FBI, DHS, and others. So the government, again, was going to the media. They were pushing a story that Twitter was allowing this information. And then they were pressuring Twitter to change the status of accounts that were pressing this quote unquote in from misinformation. This is exactly what everybody sort of suspected was going on. Is that the government was using its power in order to launder censorship through outlets like Twitter? According to taibbi, Twitter was taking requests from every conceivable government body beginning with the Senate Intel committee, which seemed to need reassurance Twitter was taking FBI direction. Execs rushed to tell team SS CI they zapped 5 accounts on an FBI tip. Request arrived and were escalated from all over from treasury, the NSA virtually every state, the HHS, the FBI DHS, and more. They received an astonishing variety of requests from officials asking for individuals they didn't like to be banned. So for example, Democrat and house Intel committee chief Adam Schiff, the person who is responsible for much of the Russian actual disinformation about Russian collusion. He actually asked Twitter to ban journalist Paul Sperry. Declined to ownership's request. They said we don't do this, but Sperry was later suspended. Twitter honored almost everybody else's request, even those from the government, including a decision to ban accounts like rebel protests and bricks media because the GEC identified them as GRU controlled and linked to the Russian government, respectively. So you wonder why the Hunter Biden stuff happened? One of the reasons the Hunter Biden stuff happened is because Twitter was on edge, having been told by every government agency that everything that was happening was Russian disinformation and they just kept banning accounts. This is why when people say that Twitter was sort of is independent of the government. This is not a First Amendment issue. Twitter's a corporation. They can do whatever they want. And then I noticed that as soon as Elon Musk takes it over and takes a private, then literally that minute, everybody immediately shifts to. We have to publicly regulate Twitter. I mean, this is just bad. Elon Musk deciding, no, what you actually had was the government deciding in cahoots with the chief leadership at Twitter, who could be seen and who could not. One of the things that Tucker suggested last night that the new Congress, the Republican House McCarthy led Congress do is give Thomas massie the ability to investigate collusion between the FBI and places like Twitter in terms of informational dissemination. That happens to be correct. And it becomes more necessary every single day. Okay, meanwhile, speaking of censorship, Jordan Peterson is now under fire by apparently members of the college of psychologist vontae. What exactly did Jordan do? Obviously Jordan Peterson full disclosure is a host at daily wire plus. Jordan blasted Canada's commissars and penned a scathing letter to prime minister Justin Trudeau Tuesday after a leading association of his fellow psychologist, threatened to go after his license to practice clinical psychology over social media criticisms of the nation's far left government. The college of psychologist Ontario ordered the bestselling author and daily wire plus host to undergo social media communications retraining. Ah, the re-education plan. Or face a hearing on the potential suspension of his medical license. Writing to Justin Trudeau, Peterson vowed not to participate. He said, quote, I simply can not resign myself to the fact that in my lifetime, I'm required to resort to a public letter to the leader of my country to point out that political criticism has now become such a crime in Canada that if professionals are engaged in such activity, government appointed commissars will threaten their livelihood and present them with the spectacle of denouncement and political disgrace. There is simply an utterly no excuse whatsoever for such a state of affairs in a free country. This, of course, is just the latest of several investigations launched by the college of psychology with prior complaints having been dismissed, what exactly did Jordan do? That was so terrible that now he is being investigated by this ridiculous organization, the college of psychologist Ontario. What exactly did he do? Well, he retweeted Conservative Party leader Pierre pole. I'm going to scrub his name, but so be it. Lasted, Trudeau's former senior aide general butt, and he blasted New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern, tweeting opposition to a plan by Ottawa police to take custody of the children of trucker convoy protesters. He also told Joe Rogan's podcast audience that accepting radical gender theory is a sign of civilization collapsing and also said that climate change models are unreliable. So apparently this is enough for the college executive director to review the tweets and a transcript from Peterson's appearance on Joe Rogan and determine that this warranted investigation. The probe is now been expanded to include subsequent social media posts by Peterson, including a maid Twitter post in which he said that Sports Illustrated putting plus size swimsuit model yumi new on the cover was not was not an example of beauty. All Jordan wrote at that point you remember this big controversy. He wrote, sorry, not beautiful, and no amount of moth or authoritarian tolerance is going to change that.

There Are Alternatives to Twitter
"So Twitter's back up and running, you can, I guess, feel free to say what you want now. And a lot of people I've seen a lot of friends who lost their accounts, they have been restored. That's all good, but will it matter? Again, there are other alternatives out there. I'm on true social as well, parlor, of course, has come about and had its own set of challenges. There's locals as well. I encourage you, by the way, you can follow me on locals at Trish Regan locals dot com, where they really are about promoting this freedom of speech within a decent way, right? I mean, we're not talking total craziness, but the ability at least to have an opinion. And in this environment, it's gotten hard. If I tell you to consecutive quarters of negative growth for our economy, means a recession, then somehow now I'm questioned by social media platforms for false information. I mean, hey, look, no recession is the same. But it used to be the definition of a recession. Now you can't say it anymore because Joe Biden doesn't want us to. I mean, that's scary stuff, folks, all right? And either side of the aisle. Remember that? Because it can just as easily be the Democrats that they're going after next. So even if Democrats are going after conservatives and all you can't say it's a recession that could so easily flip and that's the scary part about all of that. Isn't it? But lots of changes coming. As they should be, I mean, when you think about some of the things that have been done, who's the other one, the one that had the friendship with the lovely young woman. Fang fang, was it? From China, that's kind of something I wish I could forget. Anyway, we can't. I would argue rather compromise position there because she is alleged to have been a Chinese spy. Kind of strange to him to have him on the foreign affairs community here in the Intel committee. So I think that you're going to see a big revamp coming of some of these committees where there are sensitive positions and you have people that maybe don't like Israel or have had questionable relationships with people like fang thing. Are going to come into question and as they should. And that's going to result in some changes. Look, I think we need more responsibility in Washington. I really do. I think that people are shooting off their mouse in ways that are unbecoming, frankly, to themselves, and to the nation. And we've got to remember, in fact, who our allies are, one of which, of course, major ally, being Israel. So there's an important some important things that are going to be happening. And I'd say, in that sense, very good things that are going to be happening. But they're not going to go down without a fight. So gear up, be ready. "And we've shown that we can do that. Do you miss Congress? You know, I miss the work, as chairman, I have to tell you as an FBI guy guy that served in the army when they asked me to be chairman of the intelligence committee, which oversees all 17 of our intelligence agencies and budget of about 70 some $1 billion at the time was the unclassified number. And everything from space to human collection to how we were doing covert operations around the world. What a huge highlight. The problem with Congress is that we ended up spending more and more time not being members of Congress and being, you know, political torch lights, if you will. And people got rewarded for that. It became, you know, how many likes do you get? How many, how much social media activity gets you attention? And that part I don't miss at all and candidly, I don't think it's good for the country that we continue to focus on those things. We have huge problems to fix in the country from border security to actually literacy in this country. We're still graduating people from high school. They can't read past the 6th grade level and we're wondering why we can't compete in the world. All of those challenges are going to be hugely important for the future prosperity and security in the United States. We focused on that that of all the other be great and Congress would be great. Let me finish by asking you congressman. It's a year since Afghanistan fell apart. The president announced the withdrawal. It's been a year. We now have another intelligent series of surprises in Ukraine. We thought we could deter we did not deter integrated deterrence failed. Is the intelligence community fixable? I mean, do we ever not get surprised? Well, remember, intelligence is a thousand piece puzzle and their job is to collect as many pieces as they can and then give you an analysis and analytical look, if you will about what that picture looks like. And so sometimes there are spot on and sometimes they just don't get it right. And it's never going to be perfect. I do think the way they've changed politically the way we collect and assemble and analyze information, it needs to be re looked at. There needs to be a very hard conversation amongst ourselves as Americans and with our intelligence committee about what their form and function is to make sure we don't miss it. And by the way, the Russians got it wrong too. Did they ever? Oh boy, did they? And so I think, you know, listen, you can't always rely on intelligence alone, but had we reacted when we knew that they were coming over. They got that part right. In a way that was, I think, a little bit more aggressive meaning. The quantity and quality important quality of the weapons going into Ukraine would have been really important. And by the way, we had it right in Afghanistan, the intelligence community had it right in Afghanistan. The president and the policymakers just didn't listen. I mean, everybody was saying, don't do this. Intelligence we're saying, hey, this is going to be a disaster. And guess what? It was. And I think that's going to be a scene in our national character for some time. And many, many results have coiled out from that. Yes yes and staff. I would have no witness and So i argued with a guy for awhile and finally I didn't want the the white house to also say that was unwilling to meet with the president. So i went. We discovered that regardless of whether the FBI inspected the DNC servers in 2016 or not the fact that Russia never hacked the DNC and never handed over hacked materials to Wikileaks. Before the 2016 election. That was all a lie. There was no such evidence to support that claim at all. James Comey and this attorney, Sussman got into trouble when their testimonies contradicted one another. We still don't know if the FBI ever had access to or inspected the DNC servers after emails were transferred to Wikileaks. And after millions of dollars, we still won't know this key point. Regardless today, Hillary connected attorney Sussman was thrown under and will apparently be the fall guy in the case of lying to the FBI. The contradiction with Comey may never be addressed by Durham. They pulled some metadata from Apple on Adam Schiff and some staffers and some other people there in Congress to try to track down where these leaks were coming from. Talk to me about the legality here. Whether this is an appropriate way for the Justice Department to behave and also sort of the the double standard of outrage with regard to the Justice Department. Look, you know, hunting down this crime using metadata versus some of the other intrusions that we've seen from other Justices Department Justice Department, including this one. Well. First of all, the investigation of leaks is authorized. Under the National Security Act, and by the Justice Department's organic legislation. There is a national security division at the department, whose responsibility it is is to enforce the espionage laws, which includes leaking classified information. Adam Schiff and the Democratic members of his committee where long suspected of leaking classified information during the Trump administration. In an effort to quote unquote get President Trump and so the Justice Department. Apparently, we don't know all the facts but apparently Sought the metadata, which Adam Schiff himself had sought in his role as the chairman of the intelligence committee, Adam Schiff had gone out and gotten the metadata phone and email data. Of Rudy Giuliani, John Solomon, Devin Nunes, Republican staffers and my wife, Victoria. Tempting. It is rather bizarre to hear Pelosi and shift now complain about the Department of Justice, doing exactly what shifted under his authority as chairman. That's interesting. I do want to ask you, Joe, like, Don't you believe that this Department of Justice and I'm actually surprised with Attorney General Merrick Garland that they really are honing in on the Trump administration. These are investigations are only going to continue. For the Trump administration, despite the fact that they're out of power. I don't think there's any doubt that the days of an objective Justice Department are over. We have watched this under. I'm really shocked at Merrill Merrick Garland stewardship. That he has allowed this to transpired. He's always had a reputation for being a moderate. It appears that he has either no control or doesn't care about what's going on in the department. This is clearly a continuation of the Trump derangement syndrome by using the forces. Which were begun with Mueller and Weisman. To go after continued to go after Trump people putting aside what the attorney general and and the Manhattan district attorney or doing in New York to trump and the Trump family, But we learned, for example, that in February of 2018 Um Robert Mueller and Weissman went after the phone and email records of Don McGahn and his wife. Yes. There was some speculation about this that it might have been the Department of Justice in February of 2018. It was not. It was Mueller. It was part of his ongoing witch hunt of President Trump and those in the Trump administration. So it is a continuation Mercedes of the same thing that was going on with Mueller and Weisman in 2018. Well, that story about Tom McCann. Let's Let's pull that thread a little bit here because he knew at that moment was the White House counsel in 2018. They pulled his information from Apple and then his wife. I mean, what? What is the is that just an intimidation tactic? What is the justification for going after a man's wife was working in the White House? Frankly, I think it's outrageous. They went after the White House counsel. There's got to be some firewalls here, between between the DOJ in the White House. Wouldn't there be? Well, remember, Remember when you aren't a special counsel, which Mueller was? He is the attorney general. Under the rules, he does not have to consult. With bar or whoever was the attorney general at the time, he accessions whoever he does not have to consult with that. So when Mueller and Weissman issued those subpoenas for the metadata From a gone and his wife and others. No one in the department necessarily would have known about that. This again is another example of the craziness that went on under Mueller. But But, Joe, I think when it comes to the don McGahn records, it really does show that you know if it was Mueller asking for these records, it was because don McGahn felt pressured. I mean, the accounts show that Don McGahn felt pressured to fire Mueller. So do you think that's the reason why We saw the Justice Department make this move or allegedly make this could have been. It could have been one. There's no way we can tell And we may never know because there's certainly no since Republicans do not have the subpoena power do not control either House of Congress or the White House.
