"In addition, the order recommends that hopi businesses restrict capacity to half and implement screening for staff along with cleaning and disinfecting protocols, it will remain in place until March 13th. More than 90% of eligible hopey tribal members have been fully vaccinated against COVID. For national native news on Ryan Hess in Flagstaff. Native American community members in the greater Kansas City area are continuing to call on the Kansas City football team to change their name and end the use of Indian stereotypes. Members of the group, not in our honor, demonstrated at the team's home playoff game on Sunday, galene crouser is director of the Kansas City Indian center. Our purpose out here is to continue to raise awareness about the stereotypical use of our imagery. And the blatant racism that still occurs, you know, all these years after the civil rights, the fight for civil rights. And so indigenous people are still way at the bottom of that list being recognized for who we are as human beings. Members of the group and their allies hosted demonstrations outside the team stadium at all home games during the NFL 2021 season. They also have four changed the name billboards up in the city. The team is woven into everything in Kansas City. All this messaging out there that it's okay with us as Indian people and it's not. And if nobody else stands up and says, hey, this isn't cool, then their message just stands unanswered. And so we have to, as Indian organizations here in Kansas City, we have to be the ones that stand out here in the cold and say, hey, that is not the truth. They do have a couple of people that have said it's okay and on their working group. But the majority of us don't agree with it. The group has long called for the Kansas City football team to end the use of native imagery, including in the arrowhead logo and the use of native terms and seek the NFL's zero tolerance for on field use of racial slurs to be applied. Fans are banned from wearing warlike paint or headdresses into the stadium. The U.S. Department of Agriculture is holding a tribal leader consultation and listening session Thursday on creating a plan to create a more competitive fairer market for meat poultry and seafood processing. The USDA is seeking input from tribes as there are new funding opportunities being made available. The White House announced a nationwide plan earlier this month to boost competition and reduced prices and the meat processing industry..

"No, I have a pick and I don't know if I need to make it now. I might not have to. But I'm not gonna. I'm gonna risk it. I'm gonna take my money and fix what I left here. Three. Okay, fine. I'm gone like really position player heavy aren't I? That's fine. We're gonna do it. You don't need a balanced restor here. I know, but if you want, but sometimes it leaves you vulnerable. I'm just proud once again. I'd like to point out that I've mostly stuck to my board and I it's not like the first year where I think went off the rail after like a second thing. Coming up strong. Okay, this is going to be an interesting dynamic to introduce to the draft. So it'll be fun for that reason if nothing else. Because I am taking a different angel's minor league outfielder and I guess we're going to find out who's right. I'm taking Dylan Thomas. Oh yeah. You know, I have your same concerns, I suppose about how much they will actually need to rely on these guys and I guess one of us will be right or we could both be wrong. Mostly like he has a non roster invite to spring training and his powers stupid. He is not actually like great from a hit tool perspective, but like the power is pretty nuts so it makes up for some of it. And so I'm taking Dylan Thomas. Yeah, you did a meter major leaker segment on him. I did. I think you're right. I'm glad you remember what I've said on the podcast. I don't always remember Ben. Well, that's why we have a wiki. All right. I will go with another boring but known name, which is Alex blandino. And as bland as his name suggests, however, I have heard of him. And he is 29. He is a former first rounder. And he's another utility guy. He played 43 games for the reds last year. And didn't do very well, but he played him. And he was signed by the Giants, I believe. So I assume that he will now be incredible. And also incredibly clutch and it'll be late night blandino in 2022 and I'm sure that that's what will happen. So I don't know if a year or I guess arguably two years, but really a year and a half of the Giants making more of hitters is enough to bank on the platinum breakout, but in the what 7th pick of the minor league free agent drafts, I guess that's good enough. Yeah. Yeah. I am gonna take a former effectively wild guess, I think? Oh, thank you. It's not the one that you want to take. The one you were thinking I would take before. Christian bethancourt. Former ringer MLB show passed I believe. Yeah, I mixed them up. I remember interview when you interviewed him about pitching. He signed up the a's is catching depth. I think he's kind of their third catcher. At the moment and I assume if he also pitches in mob up dude, I get both. Yeah, you do? Yeah, you do. He also probably won't play for them this year. But he does. No. But he might. Yeah, I did not know he was still around, really. All right. Okay. I can tell which prospect list we've published based on some of my picks here. That's neither here nor there. I'm going to take hopey Harris. His name is Harris, a human person, and his name is hobie. I hope you hear us was with Toronto. He is now with Milwaukee and I will read the following from his report on the recently published brewers list. His delivery has changed a bit and he was parked at 96 to 98 during 2020 instructs with the JS and up to one O one out of the bullpen. He sat 97 in 2021 and reduces walk rate sum, it is still below average. While pitching at triple-A and then he departed in free agency and landed with the brewers, he's got potential for an emerging splitter and his name is hobie. So I'm taking hobie Harris. As well you should. Okay, then with my 8th pick, I will take Tyler white. You may remember Tyler white from his days with the Astros and Dodgers. He has a World Series ring. He was nicknamed and presumably still is nicknamed big puddin, which is recent enough to draft him at this point in the draft I think. But he also hit very well last year in triple-A following a stint in the KBO in 2020. So last year in triple-A, he had a four 24 on base percentage, which is quite impressive, I think, even if you're an advanced age elder statesman person in triple-A, but he was with the Blue Jays. I believe. And he's now with the brewers and I guess he has to beat out rowdy teles for playing time, which I suppose he had to do with the Blue Jays also, and did not do. So I guess that's not the best sign. But yeah, Tyler white. Hoping there's a little more left in that. And always root for the 33rd round pick to. Wait, that was your 9th pick, right? Was it? Oh, okay. Yeah, that was your last track. Yeah. It was your 9th pick. I'll take your word for it. Tyler white looks like a young Kris kringle. Like he could be in like a hallmark Christmas movie about Kris kringle, the early years..

"Gallagher. If anybody believes Jeff Bezos is there, but climate change, you're out of your mind. Is there for power just like the rest of these guys? Come on, Virginia, get out there and vote. Come on family, Friends, everyone. Get out and vote. We need your vote. Don't listen to this thing. They're way ahead and they're going to win. It's all a plot. Republican. Amen, the country's polling for you, Virginia, we're praying for you. And is it going to be legit? It's a big question on many people's minds like Jim in roselle, Illinois. Hey, Jim, welcome. How are you? Hi, Mike, how are you? You think this was on the square or what? I have no idea. I have no, you know what I think I think what Newt Gingrich thinks. If it's close, they're going to try to steal it. If it's closed, they're going to cheat. If it's not close, they can't cheat. Now go ahead. We have to get our electricity on the square. I mean, it's still just not the walk around thinking that people that are elected or cheat and all would say. I know. I just hope it's done the square. I do too, Jim, it's a good question. It's a good point and I guarantee it's what most of our listeners are thinking right now. Here was Newt Gingrich last night on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News saying out loud, the quiet part. This is what so many of us are worried about. First of all, it's a really tight they'll steal it. So you can't afford to have a really tight election. You have to win by a big enough margin they can't steal it. Second, the difference in if young can wins, which I think you will, if everybody turns out to vote tomorrow, if young can wins, this is an earthquake. If young can almost wins, it's an interesting tremor, but it's not going to shake things up. I thought, and I hope that the Republican National Committee has already lined up a commercial because Kamala Harris comes into Virginia and says, you know, if young can wins, that tells you we're going to lose in 22 and we're going to lose in 24. Well, if he does win, as I think he will, I hope that by Thursday, we have an ad that says, Kamala Harris was right. Young and one goodbye Democrats in 22 and 24. I think they will panic. I think most of the socialist big government program is going to actually be stopped in its tracks. Now, you know, I think newt's right, I use the phrase the expression the beast all the time. If you're a new listener to this show, I talk a lot about the beast. The beast in my view is the mainstream media with their corrupt lies and their agenda and their pretense of objectivity when it's anything but. The beast is Hollywood. The beast is academia, trying to, indoctrinate our kids. You know what the beast is. The beast is made up of people on the left. It is the institution that it's the institutions. It's the individuals who try to suppress our speech. It's a beastly thing to do to try to suppress and lie and censure and cancel, okay? Right now, the beast is wounded. They are injured. They can't believe this race is neck and neck. I just don't want a moral victory. It's not going to be enough to have a moral victory if Terry McCullough manages to if this lousy ridiculous candidate wins in Virginia, it's frankly pretty terrible for the United States. Listen to Terry mcauliffe's closing argument. You'd think he'd talk about making Virginia better. You'd think he'd talk about the quality of education in our schools, making sure we have quality teachers. Education has become the primary issue in the gubernatorial race. Listen to Terry McCullough, the Democrats closing argument about the classrooms in Virginia and what he'll do about the classrooms in Virginia if he's elected governor. And I promise you, we've got a diversify our teacher base here in Virginia. 50. 50% of the students at Virginia schools K12 fifty percent are students of color and yet 80% of the teachers are white. We all know what we have to do in a school to make everybody feel comfortable in school. So let's diversify. So here's what I'm gonna do. We'll be the first state in America. If you'll teach for 5 years here in Virginia in a high demand area that would be geographic or coursework, we will pay room board intuition in any college, any university, any HBCU here in the comic wealth of Virginia. You believe that? Too many white teachers in Virginia. That's the problem, has nothing to do with critical race theory has nothing to do with lousy teachers. It has nothing to do with your kids being in private schools while you're railing about how great the public schools are. You fraud has to do with too many white teachers. Mike is in FarmVille, Virginia. Hey, Mike, welcome to the Mike Gallagher show. How are you? Hey, Mike, first prayer's house to Trevor, hopey stool well. He's doing great. Thanks for checking in on him. He's doing well. Thank you so much. My son has recovered nicely from his accent and he should be out of the wheelchair within the next couple of weeks. Thank you. Mike, I kind of just dabble on social media. Most of the time I'm posting phishing pictures to my Friends. I never do anything public, but yesterday, the president was on saying full in Virginia, blah, blah, blah. So I got it and I went public. And I said, look, yes, vote for Virginia, vote Republican, vote down CRT vote, Second Amendment. Well, I got 40 trolls just calling me every name in the book. Like I was a dog and I have worked for higher education for 30 years. So I know what a mess it is. And then but I've got over a thousand thumbs up. So I have to think this is a real positive thing. So you got a thousand thumbs up and 40 thumbs down? Yes. I'll take that any day of the week, Mike. I like that. Hey, Mike, from a virginian's perspective, because I'm an I'm really a really, really nervous. And apprehensive and anxious. Does Glenn young can pull it out? Well, I live in rural Virginia. And the southeast west is all Republican. They're stunts, Christians, they're flag waving guns holding people. Jason people. What pulls Virginia is the right in section that's up next to D.C. and got it. We know it. We got gimmick, give me your pick. Does he win or lose? He wins. "Your source for breaking news and what to make of it all. This is the Mike Gallagher show. There's a mass requirement inside D.C. restaurants yet. President Biden the First Lady, we're not wearing masks, while walking around a D.C. restaurant on Saturday. Why? They don't think we should overly focus on moments in time that don't reflect overarching policy. Biden didn't feel he was caught. He's the president of the United States. He knew he would be filmed, but he didn't wear a mask. Why? Because masks are for servants. And he's the president. He's not a servant. No, from the relief factor dot com studio. Here's Mike Gallagher. When we keep seeing all these Democrats violating their own mandates, Tucker Carlson was right, they don't think they're caught. They're just they're the leaders. They're the where the servants and they're the rules makers. And they're taunting us. There's a phrase for it. It's called trolling. When Lori Lightfoot throws herself in a crowd at a WNBA game indoors without a mask on and she posts the shelfie, the shelfie on the Internet she's not wearing a mask 'cause she doesn't care. She's Lori Lightfoot. She just wants the police officers fired. She accuses them of being guilty of an insurrection. Insurrection. They're throwing that word around. And like little tiktoks, insurrection. Anybody who pushes back, you're guilty of an insurrection. And you should be charged accordingly. You should be it's criminalized. You should criminalize. Vaccines, or not vaccine. We're all on our own path. We're all taking our own journey. My friend and colleague Dennis prager is on a journey. Dennis announced yesterday he asked COVID. He did his radio show from home. He's quarantined. He and his family have COVID. As many people I know have had COVID. Dennis is not real fond of the vaccine journey. He is not apparently taking the vaccine and as a result when news broke the dentist tested positive for COVID, social media sort of erupted. They just had a field day yesterday. Joy and delight with Dennis prager. COVID positive. I that great odds karma hopey dies are that ha ha ha won't be I won't be sad if he died horrible stuff. Evil, that doesn't surprise you. I know. Here's the headline over at the blaze. Liberals pounce after Dennis prager says he's tested positive for the coronavirus. The 73 year old prager discussed the various medical treatments he'd been taking, including hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. He also said, what made headlines was that he I think sort of playfully or maybe seriously, I don't know, said that it was he wants to get natural immunity, so he engaged with strangers constantly hugging them, taking photos with them knowing that I was making myself very susceptible to getting COVID, which is indeed as bizarre as it sounded. What I wanted in the hope that I would achieve natural immunity and be taken care of by Therapeutics that is exactly what has happened. Now, we're all on a separate journey. I ain't getting near anybody. And Dennis is absolutely entitled to go wherever he wants to go and I joke when I say that. I mean, I'm living my life. I'm just not going to play the odds. Here are the some of the comments from the left. A comedian tweeted Dennis prager announced he has the coronavirus COVID is out here collecting conservative radio hosts like their Pokémon cards. Another one said anyone trying to get infected should be treated with disdain and called out for stupidity. Joe Walsh. Why a piece of work from Chicago, he tweeted shame on you for continuing to spread such dangerous disinformation, shame on you for not caring whether your audience lives or dies. Another tweeted, I hope this ignorant piece of blank needs a ventilator and can't get one because they're all being used by people he influenced. Dennis said on air, if he died of coronavirus, that would be plastered all over the news, but if he recovers, it won't make any news. At all. Well, I don't care what the evil left says. I pray that Dennis recovers. I pray that his wife Sue recovers. I pray for the prayer family. I pray for anybody with COVID right or left. We're all on a journey and this virus has forever altered this country. It has brought us to our knees. And I think at some point, you have to just brush off the evilness of people on the left. We don't want anybody on the left to die. Do you think anybody celebrated the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg? Of course not. You think anybody celebrated the death of Cole and pal? A well-known liberal? Of course not. We all honored their service. We honored their dedication to their jobs, we may not have agreed with them politically. That doesn't mean we want anybody to die. I don't want you to be, I don't want you to withhold treatment or why would I care what you what journey you're on? And if you're an opinionated radio host, you get to be on your journey. What's he supposed to do? Lie? Pretend he got the vaccine when he didn't? People are accusing Dennis of killing people because he's sharing his views. I mean, when I initially announced I got the vaccine in March people were mad at me saying I was influenced in people to get the vaccine. I'm not trying to influence anybody to do anything. I'm in no position to tell you what to do with your body. In.

"Sands. Just the ship. Welcome back America to you at that music means I'm joined by Admiral James Stavridis. He retired United States Navy. Former Allied supreme Commander of NATO also former head of Southern command. Good morning, Admiral. How are you? I'm doing well here and I want you to note that I am wearing a sweater under my sport coat. And I'm doing that in solidarity with those in the Northeast today. Since down here in Florida, it'll probably hit 65 anyway, so I feel for everybody up there. I feel time in California where it's gonna be 70 today and I agree with you. We should be in solidarity with our friends in the Northeast. Admiral. I want to do two things. First. I want you to explain your column. Trump got a space for its Biden should get a cyber for us. I agree with that explain what it is. And then my tweet on it is that it's an excellent idea. Which of the president, the secretary of defense and the White House chief of staff embrace It could be part of reconciliation or part of a compromise provided that the DJ Hopey hawks get a top line add to the D O D to pay for it. So the Florida York Let's start with Cyber S O think about the world today and all of those devices that are connected to the Internet. In 2011, there were only seven billion same number of devices connected to the Internet as people on the planet 2011. Let's go forward 10 years where we are today, close to 50 billion devices or on the Internet, and that's great. Right. I'm holding up my iPhone. I can use it to open my garage door from 1000 Miles away. That's great. But those 50 billion devices you are an enormous threat surface. It is the means. By which nation states criminal gangs. Terrorists will infiltrate our society, steal our money break down our infrastructure. Lock up our ability to land airplanes on and on and on. So massive vulnerability that is only increasing. We're going to see billions and billions. Hundreds of billions of devices connected to that world Wide Web, the Internet. So how do we guard it? We need a cyber force. In my view, that's a highly professional. Relatively small, I'd say maybe 10 to 15,000 cyber warriors out of, you know, 1.5 million in the Department of Defense. But here's the key. Hugh, like the Air Force is focused like a laser beam on flying airplanes, and the space force is focused on a laser beam like a trajectory on space. We need a similar team. Small elite. Think of them as the seals of cyber who can focus entirely from the minute they walk in the door at their service Academy. They're focused on cyber. They're learning coding. They're getting ready. They have that military ethos, and they're also predispose. I'll finish here that they're predisposed. To conduct their operations with the private sector because you can't defend that vast surface area with just military capability. This is not for Apache. In the Amazon server farm. This is working with the private sector. So government interagency, our cyber force. In our private sector, gonna have to work together because the threat surfaces so big. That's the fundamental rationale for this. They would also I imagine be joint by nature, meaning that they're cross purposes, cross services, but I go back to my old OPM days and I had a fellow is my deputy director. And I was the lawyer and I replaced him when he left who had come from China Lake and he always used to argue. We gotta have a different pay scale for China, like physicist or they're gonna leave. And I actually think the cyber force when they get set up is gonna have to have a different pay scale because you're gonna be competing against Silicon Valley types who will just try and buy them, Admiral. And so from the start, if you recognize that you can set it up coherently. Absolutely correct, And frankly, we do this already. You may or may not know this in the medical world. We pay additional additional pay scale. Two physicians, nurse practitioners who have very specific skill set so their mechanisms to do this, and here's the really good news. I don't think it would have to be Silicon Valley pay scales these air still going to be American patriots, who want to serve for the same reason I wanted to go, Dr Destroyers. Or AH, Nathan. Army Ranger wants to get to Iraq. There's a factor of patriotism and service. But I do think we're gonna have to at least make them somewhat hole financially, not against a Silicon Valley pay scale. But and enhanced level over some of the other skill sets. We have the tools and the mechanisms to do that. We should do so now your friends on they are your friends. I'm sure you know, General Austin, etcetera. Pentagon doesn't like a whole lot of new stuff it in a hurry. They already have to stand up space for its What would the reaction quote inside the building which I feel silly saying since I've been there three times, But what would the reaction inside the building B to yet another new command? It would not be overwhelmingly positive. Two reasons for that. And I say that as someone who has spent years inside the building and you are absolutely correct, it's the military is a very conservative organization. They don't want to change. And each of those armed forces today the army, the Navy, the Air force, Even the new space force would say, Oh, it's okay. Admiral Stavridis. We've got it covered. We train a certain number of army people to be cyber warriors in a certain number of Navy people, And there's some truth in that each of the services has a small Kadre. Of cyber warriors, but unfortunately they dip into cyber for a tour and then bang. They go up to see and drive around a destroyer in the army. They do a tour in cyber, but then they go back to the field. So you need that specialization you're gonna have to push against the services who you use this word earlier. Don't want to give up top line, which for your listeners is simply another word for money in the Pentagon. So the reconciliation or the budget deal is coming up. And this would be a perfect time for the new president to get a win A very symbolic win, and all it would cost is a top line increase in D O D. It makes sense to me the background, which I want to quote from your column. To use a military analogy. The initial attack on solar winds was a carpet bombing, which had immediate if undetected effects across the entire field of battle. I think of some glue, I think of any number of bombardments. That our carpet bombing would you explain what solar winds was and why you use that analogy? Can solar.

I understand that, but still 40% of Republicans or people who identifies such say they don't even think he's illegitimate President so I think it's a challenge to not talk to those people. And how do you bring him into the tent? Two ways. One is I think what you're looking for in a speech like the inaugural, You're not gonna accomplish everything. The entire administration on speech. But the good news is this is the beginning. You don't have to go. So I think What you're trying to do is get people to be open minded. If you've spent the last 6 10 weeks. Baisden this right wing media ecosystem where you think that Joe Biden, you know, literally running baby eating ring or something nuts like that. You're going to see this speech and say, OK, maybe this guy seems kind of normal. You know, I'm not a fan of his. I don't like his policies. But maybe it will give him some some space in my mind. TV can prove himself. Most importantly, if you're in the group of Trump voters, and there's a very large group at this point who voted for Trump, but no longer approve of Trump or the 66% of Americans, who have of approved of Biden during the transition. This is a chance to sort of, say, Hey, here's a president who wants to govern for all of us. Let's see if he could do it and let's see if we can be part of it. So I think those things are certainly doable. And I think that You know, Ultimately, no president has 100% approval, but it's outgoing President never even hit 50% approval. I think that Joe Biden is aiming to be a president for the majority of the country. President Trump had charisma least Barack Obama had charisma. Don't know if Joe Biden has that same sort of gravitas. If if we're looking for him to deliver some stirring words, I don't know that that's his greatest strength. You know, I don't know that I think the very different obviously, Obama and Trump but mildly were very different. But I agree with you do both. Had charisma in their own ways or have Christmas anyway. I think Joe Biden also seen he'll get to be a politician of his stature unless you're charismatic in certain ways. I think Historically, Joe Biden has not been associated with speaking in front of huge crowds having these big, energetic rallies, although, if you look at the 2012 speech at the DNC convention You know, he showed he can deliver a speech like that. I think Joe Biden's biggest strength as a speaker has always been that kind of ability to almost have a conversation, an individual level conversation with people, and I actually think That makes him very well suited for the type of speaking that we're seeing now, because during the pandemic, you don't have these enormous audiences. So if you're a speaker who feeds off the crowd right, President Trump was driving him nuts. He didn't have a crowd to feed off of Joe Biden doesn't have that challenge because he concave this very kind of close personal speech. That sounds more like he's having a conversation with you, David. Let works for funny or die in Washington, D C. And he wrote a book called Thanks Obama. My Hopey Changey White House years. What will you do?.

"I will be the bear today, and that leaves 90 with all the bull again. Because you already announced the terrible this week, Right? I'm always the ball. You're always the bull because these markets go up and they keep going up and they keep making the all time highs which is awesome. You're young. Yeah. Alright. Good. Yeah. So young, so naive E haven't seen so refreshing. Haven't had your heart broken by a 2008 or 2001, have you? Not yet? No. All right. Well, good s o. We left off and we were talking about the markets and the market's going up and what was behind them, And I think what's behind them? Well, we do have some talk that the government might actually get Stimulus done. And of course, the market loves stimulus, right? Yeah. More money. We go higher, more money. Put more money. Oh, my old money, All right? Yes, but there was an awful lot that actually went wrong this week and because of the Hope that's out there hope of the vaccine hope of this hope of that. We we? Well, we're not seeing the market actually react to any bad news at all. But there was some bad things that were going on. We were been fearing and we talked about this back in October. We've been wondering how this December would work out right? You know, Christmas season. The reason that they know here. We just had black Friday and by the way, why they call it Black. Friday is because that's finally when some of these stores get into the black the rest of the year. They're just trying to pay the lights. They get into the black on black Friday, and now we've got profit through the end of the year. That's what makes their year And so that's not what I thought. Black Friday. Man. What e thought it meant you go shopping it for him. It's dark outside black Friday who go shopping before I am. That's black Friday to me. I mean, not not midnight Friday is black. Friday. Yes, No, e don't know. No. What's what's going on? Is they finally get into the black? Well, The problem is, is that this year? We did have a 22% jump in sales online on black Friday. Fabulous it were, you would think, right, but we kind of expected that that wasn't unexpected. What was unexpected was the foot traffic in the brick and mortar stores. Foot traffic was down and brick and mortars by 52%. Nance. A 30% difference? Yes, And so these brick and mortars that have already been Suffering through the year and they were hoping to get at least something out of black Friday. Well there. We don't have the numbers out. But what we do know is that those who did Shop on Black Friday, even on the Internet spent 14% less this year. As in, you know, the average the number of people shopping divided by the how much they spent per Purchase per 14% less. Wow, That's what it comes down to. Okay, even online and so That's going to have a major impact, especially on the brick and mortars, but but kind of overall. I mean, that's that says something about our current economy. And what it says to me is and what it says to the majority of you know of economists out there is why in the world are we so high in the in the in the index is this doesn't make any sense. Because the indexes and we've kind of talked about this before to the indexes. Are weighted heavily towards big big companies like apples, apples, apples, apples in Oregon, apples, apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google, like these big massive companies that make a ton of money when people use online things. Yeah, although what took us to these new highs? Have been the brick and mortars finally catching up. Yes, I mean, they were staying down from, you know from the march drop, and they were finally getting some of that hopey him in there and because we've got the vaccine now, and it's even approved in the U. K. And maybe we'll even approve it here in the United States someday. But but the brick and mortars went up on hope. I think Boeing did to Boeing was up going American Airlines. Yeah, they all of these that aren't making money yet. We're going up on the idea that sooner or later the vaccine will be out and people will be more comfortable getting out in public again. We're going to get back to normal. And so the brick and mortars started going up, But, hey, this black Friday was really a bust on the brick and mortars. Yeah, you know, I really thought I was going to see Amazon kind of move a little bit more, too, Because black Friday is a huge thing. I mean, Amazons, massive company that makes money all the time. But on black Friday, you think they'd make a lot more and Amazon didn't really move this week. Just kind of stayed sideways, he up. Another thing That kind of went wrong was the oil inventories missed by a large margin, and yet they missed by a large margin. But oil inventory went up. We'll know our oil inventory did not go on. Oh, sorry. Know the price of oil went up. The price of oil did go up. Even though you'd think of it Missed oil inventory? Yes. So we've the idea here is is that is that oil and Montoya's have been super high to the point where Where At one point people thought. Oh, we can't even store this. And so they were. They were paying people to take oil from them. Yeah, remember that all right, and we've been trying to work down those inventories. What they thought was going to be leading those inventories was 2.4 billion barrels. But what actually left was only 689 million barrels. And so that was a large miss the huge, miss huge miss, But, yeah, oil prices where it should have under under us, You know, normal circumstances. Um You would think that oil would have been impacted and we'd see a different price not but didn't well, that's where common sense comes into the market. Most people say Well, common sense would tell you that if a company has good earnings, and it beats earnings that the price should go up, But that's just not how the markets work. It isn't In fact, that's you know, in our classes. We talk about how the market really works. And how that all makes sense. And and it's a surprise to most people in this is really important, not only to, you know to those that are looking at the markets for income, you know the traders but also for those investing for wealth. This is important to understand. Why the price moves how it moves one of the things that we concentrate that with risk management there in our in our introductory class. Exactly..

"The black Mesa defense fund back in 1969-70 and working with Hopey and traditional Navajo Indians to try to thwart the black Mesa mine which then served coal to the Navajo Generating Station to basically power up off the central Arizona project down taking water out of the Colorado River. I got so engrossed in that that in two thousand. I did a six-part radio series for public radio on the Colorado River in the west and looking at the central Arizona project as probably the worst environmental debacle ever visited upon the South West Palm. And the Glen Canyon Dam, but seeing how the whole thing was mapped out in an almost mathematical fashion to get them to work to make something else work, but all to satisfy presumed human needs. Whereas That central Arizona project with a black Mesa mine off basically has all but destroyed the traditional Cultural perspectives of both the traditional and Navajo and Hopi Indians which to me is another travesty. That's really not very well known even today although it ought to be and looking at the American southwest as the national sacrifice area. It was basically looked at home, but from the point of view of what resources are available to satisfy presumed human needs as our population has continued to grow and grow and grow back of the things that I try to point out every now and then on the lecture is that in the course of my lifetime. I was born in nineteen thirty-six. And the human population of the planet had just passed two billion people and today it said almost 7.8 billion people and may last another few years. I will have seen the human population of the planet grow by 400% That's another sort of a statistical way of looking at it. "So, uh, I was just thinking about this with Gary Dietrich. I'm honestly this is what I think needs to happen if the Democrats want to prevail. I do believe that. What they have to do is have an extremely positive message. Instead of just being the punching bag for Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their followers. I think what they need to do is to come out of this with smiles on their faces, and essentially, I think their message has to be the Hopey Changey thing or The morning in America thing, You know, we've been through hell this year. Absolute hell, and the leadership in this country has been bad. It has not helped us. We saw a glimmer of hope. When Kamala Harris was chosen as the running mate. People really were joyful in America, particularly within the Democratic Party, but not just within the Democratic party outside as well. And I think the Democrats need to realize that and say that will motivate people. If we give people a spark of hope. If we give people an option potentially of joy, something they can reach for that's positive. That can make them be proud to be an American again. If they could do that. They will win. Just ahead of the gamble coming down on the Democratic National Convention. President Trump is campaigning in Minnesota, where he says Democrats are trying to take the nation in the wrong direction. The scenarios right now in the West are crazy. To get the nine C just to get into a definitely going to get a two out of three. If you will play in Siri's in a West correct you're not obviously to getting in the East. It's all it's all set. Now, Ladies. If Portland beats my basketball team on Thursday, they of the eighth seed and that's significant cause All they have to do is win once, right? If Memphis winds There. I think if Memphis winds or just gotta short and a garden that short handed Yes, yes, it would bounce back by your squad. Oh, my God. About that. Wow. That was incredible. Evil. That was a I think that was the seventh power play opportunity the Washington Capitals got. Maybe they just can't They figure we'll keep giving a foul place scores shorthanded. Unbelievable. Who's that failure? Was that without right, That's what I want to see the replay right now, because I was looking down as it was happening. All of a sudden I look up like what the hell's going on? I was brought Nelson feed it to trying to see I can't tell Um, one response. Whoever it is, is Number 12. Number 12. Is Josh bailing and you think that's what's pale? You're right about that. How about that? Uh, yes. So the story goes. The scenarios are a mess in the NBA's all over the place. But bottom line is fetal. So Memphis San Antonio all of a shot. Portland. Yes. And in the last day of the regular season is what tomorrow we get the last day of the you count in the playing games. The playing game is going to be on Saturday, but that's not why I don't call that regular season yet, so there are more games on Friday, but the Friday Games are all just they're not meaningful in terms of the Western Conference playing games. It's just about seating, I think in the East So I'm still looking looking looking on the breakaway short and that is another stopped out. Hope you got that one. Yeah, well, what's your question? Nah, nah, I'm I was watching Was that Casey Cizikas? I think second short handed up coming right in on hope he actually stopped. It didn't get a great great shot here. Well, hopey, you kind of got hooked a little bit by one of the capital's coming back on hoping the first goal. Holy hope he gave up was A bunny. I mean, he should have been able to stop it the one by Jordan. Everyone's really changed his gay. I mean, really, too. Not that three straight goals. Nobody that that changed. The game will change the game because then they had the Momenta meant the end of the second period. Now even shorthand today about a few opportunities. They may have another one right now against Washington. Yeah, The MBA regular season ends Friday, but those games are in his employ somebody, but here's the thing. Okay, so right now we have Portland, Phoenix Memphis Senatorial Elite Have Could mediate. See that is going well, They all could be in that 89 matchup. You know, I think they all have the chance of getting to the age spot. But they would need port when there's only 189 matchup. All four thieves will not be in that. That's right. It would only be eight versus 92 teams. The eight wins. It's over the nine wins. There's a second game on Sunday, okay? Personally, I'm rooting for Phoenix against Portland. That's what I'd love to see that. I mean, the sons deserve it. They went out of the bubble in pregame sons deserve it. I'm with you anyway. Is that all kinds of trouble? So I agree. You know Portland, Phoenix, and it's crazy to think that Phoenix could go out and win their last game.
