Fresh update on "homer " discussed on The Dinesh D'Souza Podcast

"We're now at the climactic scenes of the Iliad, the great showdown between Hector and Achilles. And the aftermath of all that. So we're in book 22 out of 24, the last part of the Homer's great epic. And we begin with king priam and Huckabee, his wife, trying to dissuade Hector from fighting Achilles. King prime says it's a terrible thing for an old man to lose a son. Bears her breast to her son, Hector. And basically says, look, I'm an old woman now, but these are the breasts that nourished you when you were a baby. And so they make a kind of emotional appeal to Hector. And we can't help but remember also andromache earlier appeal. Hector you are my soul defender, you're the defender of Troy. If you fall, then Troy will fall. And then I will end up a slave and a sexual slave of some Greek man. And Hector takes all of this in and he does consider not fighting with Achilles, so against Achilles. But he is prevented from this way of thinking by shame. Hector fields I have to do it, I am the foremost of the Trojans, and I can not back down or run away from this kind of a fight. And yet, when Achilles shows up with looking like fire looking Homer says, almost God like in his fury. There's something virtually subhuman and superhuman about Achilles I mentioned this before. Hector in a very human way. Hector's humanity contrasting with Achilles inhumanity or maybe super humanity. Hector runs. He takes off, he's overcome by fear. And Homer has a beautiful image as he talks about this because as Hector is running around the wall of Troy pursued by Achilles. Homer says that they pass these two beautiful springs. Where the Trojan women used to wash their silky clothes in the days of peace before the Greeks came. So what we have here right in the middle of war and blood and a great fight between Achilles and Hector is a reminder that before all this nonsense before Helen before the abduction before the Greek Senate thousand ships, the Trojans actually had they were a prosperous city. They had a good life. They lived according to nature, the Trojan women would go down to these exact same springs. Wash their clothes. And so children would grow up. And so all of this is now gravely endangered by this war. So here's Homer reminding us of what's at stake for the Trojan people. Also, Homer says that the race, the kind of contest with Hector running and Achilles pursuing him, is not like a chariot race. It's not an Olympic race. It's not two guys competing for a medal, a competing for some sort of honor. It is more like a race where an antelope or a deer is running from a lion or from a cheetah. Why? Because the cheetah is running for its dinner, but the antelope is running for its life. And that's what's going on here. Hector is running for his life away from Achilles. And now, as even though a killer, even though Hector is running, he then stops. And he turns, he's still full of fear. In fact, Homer uses another image, he says running in a dream, you can't catch up, you can't catch up and you can get away. Remember, he's talking about something that really is so universal that even now, 2500 years later, we can identify with it. Think of a dream you've had where your trying to run. Some dangerous approaching. You're trying to run, but you can't. Your feet won't move. You seem to be sort of paralyzed or frozen, and Homer says this is what Hector Hector feels like. Now, Hector can't run forever. He runs and then he stops and he gets ready, he gets ready to fight. And when we come back, we'll talk about the actual contest between Hector and Achilles.

"Later tonight and we will get to that because we have some juicy ones, Romans here serve in takes. Yeah, it's on 11th tonight. We'll see all that. Mama made it. And we're back. Let's have a Tucson and Bill is up next. Hey there. How you doing, Paul fine, bob? Hi, I'm doing great. Listen, I have a piece of information. I worked at WMC a.m. in Memphis in 1974, 5 and 6. And for one year, I also was the voice of the Memphis state tigers when the world famous Jack Eaton was during the television broadcast. Wide open. Do you recall that at all? I had, I do. I grew up idolizing Jack Eaton and, you know, that was a team we followed. My late mother was the biggest Memphis state basketball fan in the world, so I would accompany her to games. But I vaguely I had just gone to school that year. That was my first year at UT, so I probably didn't hear as many games, so were all the games on television. We did yes, we got 8 games on TV. I did the games that you see LA pepperdine. Oh, yeah. But I do remember WMC. It was 79 on the radio dial in 5 on the TV dial. That's correct. And I did the afternoon drive show for three years and then the company asked if I would be kind enough to do play by play, which I had been doing in Texas. I had done a lot of Texas high school football at that time. So when I made my move to WMC, which I enjoyed Memphis greatly had that opportunity to spend one year working in the play by play booth after Jack went to TV and I worked with the old George Kirk. Oh, my goodness, yes. I do remember him. Well anyway, I wanted to call him let you know. That is actually so interesting. I will tell you this quick story, again, your 12 11, 13, 14, and you grow up listening to somebody. And many years later, Jack started doing a show, I guess it was on that channel. I really don't remember. He started doing a sports talk show like everybody else. And his producer called me one day. And when I came up, I literally could not speak when I was on the show with him as a guest. He was I mean, we all see things differently and then you get older and you get cynical. Like, I am. But he was the soundtrack of my youth. I can assure you. Well, Jack was one of the nicest guys I ever had a chance to work with. And on many occasions when we go on the road that year, because remember, we had John Gunn who passed away at a young age. Right. We also had we also had Victor Reid at off guard. Was that the year that gene bartow was he still there in 74? No, he had gone to UCLA. No. He went to Illinois. Right. And then Wayne Gates took her. Wayne took over. Okay. Yeah, and that's who I was working with, but yeah, Marco had gone up to Illinois after he had taken one year there would be later reunited with coach barto in Birmingham and we became such close friends. That was another one bill that I hear when we became friends. Even as he was getting retired and was close to the end, it was still hard for me to believe, I'm sitting here with the coach of my youth. But then again, I was a very impressionable kid. Well, he was a very great guy. How long were you? So when did you so you were there how long, Bill? I stayed in Memphis for three years, and then I had an opportunity to go out. The California and actually do a sports stock show at KSP and Sacramento. The only reason I left Memphis because I thoroughly enjoyed the radio station and Scripps Howard was the owners at the time, which was the WMC. I worked for their newspaper in Birmingham. How great this has been to, I mean, I feel like I know you even though I've never met, but it is great to reunite. Yes, it is. And I'd like you to make a comment. And this is hypothetical. I'm a sooner, graduate of Oklahoma university. And my question is, let's say OU goes ahead and is able to knock off the next four games. And they go four to 13 and O and the committee, which I'm not crazy about this committee, decides not to put them in the let me jump in because we're out of time. I don't think.

"Special episode today. We've got a House guest Roman Harper. Our good friend here joining the show will also have Jason Brown, South Carolina quarterback after that big time win over the Florida Gators, but you're a recent Hall of Famer. So we feel very blessed here to have you on. How do you feel being with us? That's the question. Yeah. I feel like I made it, you know? Like I really made it. I'm gonna like real TV right now. I got a football stuff that's I've been doing that since I was little. This is like I made it. No, or like peasants on an actual Hall of Fame. I'm like a real show. Okay, Roman. So one thing we do, one thing we've done this season is we've picked one thing we know. One thing we think we know and one thing we can't figure out in regards to the SEC football. We're gonna bring that back in today's show. So I'll start. I'm gonna go with one thing I know. I said it when we did it the first time. One thing I know, SEC is the best conference in the country. I still stand by it. That is one thing that I don't know. Yeah, back in week three or four was when we were making these early early thoughts and I think Trey is held up. How do you feel about that? I totally agree with it 1000%. Of course. Mine was that Georgia has the best defense in all of college football. And I feel very strongly about that still as we enter week 11. I feel almost like a mind reader, like a fortune teller. How did I know that Georgia was gonna be both you ladies are so smart and dead on and with a list is that was the one that I know is that Georgia's defense is by far the best defense in the country. Not only that. But when they put their backups in, teams still don't score. That even seconds of. When you have Georgia, defensive players saying, yeah, they scored a touchdown on us, and that's too much. We can't. It's unbelievable. So that's your thing. You know, I was with you. I'm curious Roman because you obviously played defense at a very high level. If you break down Georgia's defense, what unit stands out to you the most. In Georgia's defense. It has to be the line. It has to be now I want to say the line, but the line backers are so good. They play three or four of these guys and they are outstanding. They fly around. They hit the ball through the tone setters and they get everybody lined up. So when it comes to the smarts, the ability, the speed in which they play, there's nobody else doing it. The Kobe dean is an absolute monster. They all are, but it's hard to pick one. All right, oh, what's our next one? One thing we think we know. One thing we think we know, all right, so when we did this away back when, the one thing I thought I knew was that the east. Was that the east would be decided between Georgia and Florida that obviously tanked, all right, now I think normally that's a pretty safe and photo. It's really good. Let's not just say that they didn't lead in rushing. You know, it's not pretend that they weren't starting off hot. Now the one thing I think I know is Tennessee is the second best team in the east. Which great timing because Roman and I were on SEC now on Tuesday night and where did you put Tennessee in the east? They are the second best team. I think you guys are definitely doing your homework on this show. Where did you put I think you put Florida third to last? You went vandy, Missouri, Florida. Correct. Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee. Give it two more weeks for the change even more. It'll probably change. It's always changing. Yeah, I remember the first time you did that with the west. And then the next week it was always said last night we were like now that Romans ranked it, it's gonna be different. In a week, my thing that I thought I knew back in week three or whatever it was was that the SEC could get two teams in the college football playoff final four. Still feel good about that. I think that there's a good chance that Alabama makes it to Atlanta can beat Georgia if there's a CFP spot on the line. I don't feel like 1000% about it, but I think there's a good chance it could happen. It's still out there. Still in the air. Romans like no, it's not out. Is there one thing where I'm in the you think you know? I think Tennessee's better. Okay. Think. Like then last year relative to better than one. Does he have to prove themselves a little bit? Tennessee's back. We don't have time to get to the things that we can't figure out. So you're going to have to watch out of pocket.

"When I started thinking front office, I went all in front office. Including the game's bright stars of today. There was something star Jayson Tatum. Jason, how are you? I'm doing good. How you doing? Behind the scenes stories, some coaches and executives things go well. It's like the union did great when things go poorly at the president now CJ's father. And breakdowns from analysts and insiders who doesn't seem Philly is in all that much of a rush. Listen to the world by wherever you get your podcast. Troy is up next in Tuscaloosa. Trey good afternoon to you. Trey there. He's not. What can I tell you? Brett is up next in Atlanta. Hello, Brett. Good Paul. How you doing? We're doing great, thank you. I just wanted to kind of bring up a bit I made back in the winter of last year and the reasons that I made the bet. So back in February, I put a $1000 on Georgia when the national championship at ten to one odds. And the reasons that I did that were, I kept on seeing this stuff coming out from the Georgia team. That Jordan Davis coming back, hashtag unfinished business. Devonte Wyatt coming back, hashtag unfinished business. Samir white, James cook, the whole thing. And then the kicker was Dan landing, getting the offer to go to Texas and for a lot more money and his comeback was hashtag unfinished business. So I think that that was the reason I placed the bet and I think that this is a different team for Georgia. I think you're right about that, Brett and herb street, coach Don and others have said it and it's too early to say what I'm about to say, but I'll say it. This team is starting to resemble the Alabama team from last year, which bought in. And I think somebody said that a minute ago and sometimes unique teams there are a lot of individual teams. There's a lot of good teams, but this team is different than anyone I've seen this year. And you go back to the game day, interview that Kirk her treat did with the defensive guys. And I read who exactly was in that interview, but those guys were in tune with each other. It was all about the team. It was not about me and just something different about this team that you just got to love. Yeah, I think the one thing about this Brett is will they be tested and how do they react when they are? That was always a question about Alabama last year. They really, you know, they were under a little pressure in the old miss game and the Florida game, but that was it, and will they be tested, though? I don't know. I mean, I think this week presents some issues, but there's still a huge favor. We'll try again. Trey, you're on the air, go ahead. Yes, sir. How are you, my friend? I'm going to drop my phone. Paul, great interview with coach done, and then I want to say, prayers out to mister hurt, his family. But Paul, we had another one in trash irrelevant phone calls from Jim from Tuscaloosa. He now knows more than Kirk harp street and Greg Mack Roy. And I don't think he's ever put a job strap on in his entire life, Paul. But what I want to get into, we're talking about this phone call that mister barber. Oh, yeah. I want to know, you used to be a journalist and reporter. When mister burns makes this phone call to dabo, could you please explain to me the welcoming committee and Tuscaloosa for dabo and the scene and tea town and what's your show would be like the next day because you used to do that kind of journalism and investigation and I'd like to hear your response to that. What do you think it would look like? No one thinks right. No one needs to tell me when Davos credentials are. We all know. He's one two national championships. So he's put together phenomenal program at Clemson this year, notwithstanding, but I have not heard many people lately. Maybe 5 years ago, four years ago, but I have not heard many people lately part of the inner circle of Alabama football, both former players, alums and personnel that works there. Who are that enamored with the idea that dabu Sweeney one day should be the Alabama coach? I think I'm not reacting directly to that caller. I'm just saying this is just in general. I don't think there would be that much enthusiasm for it. At the moment, could change. Thanks for the call. Appreciate it. Brad is in Atlanta. Hello, Brad. Hi Paul, sorry. It got Walla good. It's got hung up on. Had asked about the Tennessee George gang, but I wanted to follow up a little bit, and obviously I've been watching since then, Jim from Tesco, he just can not stand it if you don't follow all over Alabama. I felt that was an awesome interview. Very straightforward. Very factual and I just don't think that, you know, I say, there's a few folks in Alabama that if you just don't fall out over the team and the coach. Brad, we have to go to a break here in a second, but it's more about the game. When Alabama's leading by three touchdowns, everybody loves the announcers. Up against a break more to come, more of your phone calls at 8 5 5 two four two 7 two 8 5.

"Of many places, including the university of Georgia, coached on and it's great to have you back on the program. We saw you a couple weeks ago. We are in Athens and how are you? In person, one time, Paul, we had a good time and I'm doing great. Just enjoying this Georgia team and enjoying the fact that they're really playing well. Let me start with the quarterback position. And I think some people don't realize what a good quarterback you were. I think you were the MVP and the ACC couple years ago. Yeah, I was a long time ago, but certainly that's the one thing that everybody, I mean, you can walk into any place in town that people recognize you, and they're going to ask you about are we playing the right quarterback or all that? Whoever Kirby's playing, that's who I like. I think both these guys really bring a lot to the table and you got to give a lot of credit when JT went down. He was ready and he took the bull by the horns. And I saw today, Paul, we're stetson Bennett, is the leading quarterback in the country on average running and passing what I mean is when he runs the ball or and passes the ball. He has a better average than any quarterback in the country. So that's pretty impressive. Let's talk about maybe it will be necessary this week. Maybe you won't. Tennessee is explosive, but let me skip ahead of this week because this is a game that some Georgia fans are a little uncomfortable about because of what hindon hooker has done and what the Tennessee offense has been able to do under Josh hypo. Yes. The first thing I want to do is make sure that I just have a lot of credit. I mean, I've known him since he was a quarterback in Oklahoma. And he did a really good job coaching at Oklahoma and kind of things went south a little bit. And they brought in Lincoln Riley, but he's really done well with his career. He moved on to Utah state and then did a good job at the Missouri and then Central Florida, but he inherited the situation where a lot of these kids are transferred and he just didn't have a very big squad and he brought in a couple of guys like hooker and some other guys and really got a good coach and staff and that's just been remarkable. The job they've done and, as you said, they're very explosive and they can make things happen. And they're running that art browse up and it's where it spreads out the receivers almost line up out of bounds. So it's going to be a different type of ball game for Georgia to the fan than what they've seen. And it's always different for everybody, but kudos to Josh hyper and his staff, but you want me to break the game down. I'll just tell you because I bring this up coach because we look at we look at Georgia's defense and we think man, they're the best we've ever seen. But I know you, you look at things analytically. You just don't look at the stats. So as you see this offense of Tennessee versus Georgia defense give us give us the coaches breakdown well, the first thing you got to do defensively is getting lined up. They run such a rapid plays and they got quick calls and their kids know how to get lined up and run plays extremely fast. I mean, less than 12 seconds. They're already snapping the next ball. So you got to kind of like coaching against the wishbone and practice from the standpoint. You got to teach your scalp team kind of get lined up and execute. So you can get a feel for it when you get into the state, but certainly you're not going to do it like hypo and his team does. And I think that hurt them early in the year. They Tennessee we're stopping themselves because some of their players didn't get lined up right and they were making penalties on themselves, but recently, you look at them against Alabama and then last week against Kentucky, wow. I mean, it was awesome. So that's one thing you got to do is get lined up and then you've got to have a good pressure package, which we have. I mean, you got to get after hooker. He got sacked 5 times last week, but he's so elusive and can run. He can really keep the sticks moving when they're not making big play. So you've got to stop him from that. But the real recipe, I think, is keeping them off the field. I mean, their defense is good. They got big Gaza upfront. They twist around and move on a Rodney Garner guy to coach for me does terrific job get those guys in and out of the game? They play about ten guys on the front. So I would say get your team lined up, put pressure on the quarterback and play deep enough that you don't give up those easy plays. That's one thing Kirby has done this year. A lot more zone for Georgia than you've ever seen because we've got some new guys back there. And then the other thing would be offensively just when you get the ball in score position, get some points and get up on these guys and make them play from behind. Talking to coach Jim donnan and coach there's so many things happening in the SEC that I would be remiss if I didn't ask you about a few of them. Let's start at the university of Florida from your seat, and you watch games, you break them down. What is going on there? You know, I hate that for, I mean, from a coach's perspective, you always say, when gossip is a job, I mean, there's families involved and, you know, it's just a tough situation. I don't know enough about what's going on to really be giving the right info. I would guess coach spur you're probably could talk about them like I do against about Georgia, but I do feel like once that LSU game happened, things just didn't look good for that Florida program. And then they kind of self destructed against us. And then last week, just really couldn't do anything against South Carolina. Big win for South Carolina, but you know, that's the team that had 11 yards and three quarters against Texas a and M, I mean, and then all of a sudden they ran up down the field like they had both Jackson the other night against Florida. So I think he had to make some changes. He's probably thinking about it and at this point, I really feel like that one thing that he did will help him I believe is he got a veteran coach there and Paul Pascal only who's coach a lot of football. He actually was his coach when he was a GA at Syracuse coach Mullen was. So I think Paul give him some steady advice there and then Christian Robinson is an excellent young coach or terrific recruiter, probably has good rapport with the kids and they'll really respond to him. But it's definitely a situation that worries you when a team like Florida who last year was planned for the NCC championship is now has 5 losses on the season. And then four last year, coach Jim, Donna with his coach. Let me ask you about Alabama for a second. At ozer on double down on his comments after the game, he said, I feel like we were a better team than Alabama. Some would dispute that. But where is this Alabama team in your mind right now? Well, you get your honor and his team and his staff, a lot of credit, they were a wounded team. They went in there and took a lot of chances. They did a good job, you know, fake punt, the Alabama center got hurt and they really were kind of discombobulated on the running and passing game and lucky to get out with a win because all of us know LSU's down there on the 7 yard line with a chance to go ahead. But as far as Alabama, I mean, I'm not going to share any tears for him now because I know what you're all capable of, and I think a team that really has you can't just be a dominant team every year. I mean, to lose all the players they lost on offense and have some of the injuries they had on defense. I mean, you know, that's just the way it goes, but they're going to fight off here in the next couple of weeks too because they got to play the iron bowl and just like we lose Saturday every game SEC's cop, man every week. You got it seems like you finished one and then the expectation like when I was coaching in Oklahoma, I mean, you got to win every game. I mean, if you don't win every game, you're a failure. So that's just the standard at Nick is set up, but I will say this. If you look around the country and you look at the teams in the top ten of that poll, we had last night..

"Homer done left, took off the reason I've always working. So President Biden came against today and said the following that no, it's Well because An unemployed American cannot turn down a suitable job to take federal unemployment benefits. Okay? Maybe not initially. But what about all the people who were told were laid off when restaurants were shut down? Is one thing to claim unemployment When you're not unemployed. It's another thing to not go out there and actively pursue getting another job. And if Joe Biden thinks for one minute that people who are getting paid twice as much to be unemployed or out there, actively looking for another job, Sanchez the unemployment benefit is the enhancement. You know, seeing $300 a week this coming from the feds, It's the stimulus checks that air coming. It's one thing when you need it's another thing when it's just shoved in your face. Who wouldn't take it well, and here's the thing Who's Who's Who's going to go out there and trying to find another job as long as you're getting it. And trust me when I say because I've been unemployed, once or twice in my radio career. They don't really spend a long time and asking you questions about what you did to go out and try to find another job. No, the bureaucrats who work at it in the unemployment office. Really don't spend that much time working, not working in the unemployment office they have been for the last year. I think about that. Well that to think about all the bogus claims that came through his right. Do you think that's all they're looking for? This point are bogus claims. I will shiver their ship into little pieces with a bolt of white lightning as soon as they get out to see. I was told this by calypso who said she had heard it from the mouth of mercury. As soon as i got down to my ship and to the seashore. I rebuked each one of the men separately but we could see no way out of it for the cows were dead already and indeed. The gaza begin at wants to show signs and wonders among us for the highs of the cattle crawled about and the joints upon the spits began to low like cows and the meat whether cooked or raw kept on making noise just as cows do for six days. We were caught by a terrific squall from the west that snapped the force days of the mass so that it fell aft while all the ships gear tumbled about at the bottom of the vessel. The mass fell upon the head of the helmsmen in the ship's stern so that the bones of his head were crushed to pieces and he fell overboard as though he were diving with no more life left in him then jove let fly with his thunderbolts. P. S. no personal service and I think everybody knows who you PS is the issue here is I I know you may be thinking oh well people are ordering online so people are going to ship things more and they're going to get more demand because of its well that's certainly true in some senses but they ship a lot of types of products not just products ordered online right so B. B. shipments for example the run large truckers in in the world so they have exposure all over the U. S. economy and technically they are very very weak that regular route roles change about fifty four which is about average but the the chart is below all the major moving averages and it looks very very poor they came out with earnings revenue revenues are still five percent earnings were down seven eighteen percent their their additional protocols in costs surrounding keeping workers and shipments sanitary and if that's going to weigh on them so I would pass on UPS I think will be a good company to own on the other side of this financial crisis this this recession but certainly not at the moment so I would keep on your watch list and it needs to be and I'll give you I'll give you a target on this seventy five dollars seventy five dollars right now we're at ninety two that's what I would think about buying it and if we're still in a deep recession I might even wait a little longer so until seventy five dollars I wouldn't even think about it eighty eight ninety nine chart it nine nine two four two seven eight let's touch lastly on ultra low yields and how that's likely going to impact your retirement planning now the fed is going to be pushing yields as low as possible really what they're their plan is at this point right maybe because negative the futures market is actually pricing in negative yields for Treasurys or for the fed funds rate later this year now Jerome Powell said they don't want to go negative they're probably just do marks you we monetize the debt which is kind of what they're doing now but these low interest rates are going away on returns for portfolios specially those with fixed income for some time now one of the biggest ways that you can make up for that is by delaying social security why is that well every year that you wait from age sixty two to seventy to collect social security you get an eight percent annual return and it is nearly impossible to get an eight percent annual turn with mortgage products right so you definitely want to consider waiting as long as possible on social security that's a kind of a given also refinancing but also paying down your mortgage number anything you don't every time you pay a little bit more in your mortgage or reduce the level of interest that you're paying you're guaranteeing that particular return so you definitely want to try to avoid as much interest as possible on that mortgage and then lastly is withdrawal right everyone thinks is the four percent is that withdrawal rate well it used to be that because you could earn forty five percent very easily very safely in US treasuries and you were touching your principal now you probably want to think about closer to the two or three percent level for you withdrawal rate so think about that when.

V. means that for the first time in decades they'll actually be music on MTV well there's a good point because I I dramatize my son last weekend and I end up pulling up old clips of soul train now that I do watch in in HD watch on a frequent basis I watched Soul Train I watch American instead of watching mall and I pulled up some old clips because what why why because he's always run around doing the folks in doing his other you know by the time he's he's over Fortnite now it will be too old for that but you know he would run around doing that stuff and then I would be like did you always run around the house trying to dance and do this this and this and take a look what days doing so trying to pull mail man on that one and he's like why why are they doing to us to do that's called the re run bro I said you got a bed you got it you have hasn't tell do the rerun I love how I think one that that Scott might be in on the O. S. I believe Mr post Malone is holding a virtual yes in fact there were yes he is my son was telling me about that and post Malone just gotten award with the the recording industry of America too as well all right I thought I reach we don't have to go back and check my Twitter feed I know he got another run or two that came out yesterday a real quick other news America killing you will Ferrell anymore signed on for a star studded comedy.

Well, as of June chemical had thirteen point one billion in Michigan deposits and t- CF had three point two billion. So who's the bigger and who's the right? I mean, there's no, I don't know. It's great news. Oh, sure. I just wanted to be straight news. And speaking of straight news. I'm so glad that you mentioned that stone. This this whole. He's being indicted for not the bad things. He did for President Trump or in the campaign, or whatever he's they say, he's being indicted because of crimes against the bogus investigation in the first place. Right. These are these are crimes that are accused. If there wasn't a bug against the investigation, these are not crimes and related to Russia collusion. Shing and it just keeps going on and on and on. It's just astonishing. All right. And in nobody's concerned that the business of the people the work of the government. The people who are supposed to serve us in Washington that we're paying for aren't they're spending all their time on all of this. Issues to deal with in our country. For our benefit and the benefit of those that are less fortunate than we are. And and yet people don't seem to get that and are thrilled to have this whole thing going on. Stone has said that he's gonna stick with Trump. He is not going to be ratting out on anything that he knows on Trump. He is a Trump supporter through and through. Now, the charges are there. Now his feet are against the fire. Right. Let's see. What happens? Well, you know, what here's what I want to hear from somebody not that there for or against Trump. But they're just going to speak. Honestly, they're going to speak the truth is they know it. Yup. Don't stand by anybody stand by the truth for once there. Let's move on. They're very well said all right. It is a seven fourteen at seven sixty WJR. The big news for downtown Detroit..
