"One. I got one. I got one breaking news basically out of the New York Post. Yeah, so they just found an article on some private property. They don't know who the model its owner is. It is in a protected area on an archaeological site before installing something there. They would have needed permission from the institution and from the Ministry of Culture. Aliens don't wait for permission. Apparently, Romania has a Ministry of culture which just sounds very foreboding. It

I was entertained throughout but good mix of you know philosophy you could really contemplating. Think a little bit. Did like that feeling with that ending you were just kind of like. Damn. Maybe if you take a little bit of mescaline beforehand, you'll unlock. The true answer. I do imagine you're tripping and you watch that, and then it says like live your life you'd be like. I'm sure. Absurd, it's been done. Yeah that'd be. Pretty. Pretty Wild. ME. I think coming over to its unique, it makes you think and then it makes you not think and then it makes you think again. And it's It is something that probably I mean you need to watch. A couple of times I don't know what the number is but. On your first viewing. It's I don't I. Don't think it's enough. "It's quite Berg Burgh I don't even. was. Dude and the guy, the the warship with nap tune where they just cut that these balls off. And then they put him on a shelf. Two. Thousand Testicle. Sacrifice that was great. An all these jars of other people's testicles. And you know so the obviously, right there's initial commentary that you kind of like in my head I'm like okay. So he's making social commentary about war in blindly following orders. So you kinda give up your manhood in that sense. But it's also super absurd and I don't know is that the real meaning I have no idea. I have no idea I think. All of the disciples. The nine people or ten people I don't even know who was. Some people like didn't want to do di. Do drowned. Yeah. Drowned and. Also remember they like they killed Pluto. He's like this feats like that. Dude's feet stink too much and then the alchemist is like side and kills them. But you chopped off his fingers, imagine imagine you're one of these guys you chop them up your fingers for mortality and you get up there and he'd Light Gotcha and you're like dude, I think his shit. "In one of the Most. Surprising parts the movie I thought you know he breaks the fourth. Wall. And he says like all right move the camera back, Oh yeah. That was even that was nine just breaking the fourth wall is like tearing down the fourth wall toward yeah. He told you blasted that Shit. and. On the viewer. Yeah he says what I mean there's no truth here like there's nothing to be found you Kinda, just wasted your time. You could have been doing something in reality rather than being on the Holy Mountain. And I think it puts the whole moving into a new perspective were. I mean, none of it. Really. Did Matter I. Mean it's all fictional. It's just images on a screen and cinema. You're like. I guess. None of this mean anything I. Guess it was kind of like the equivalent of you know, Oh, it was all a dream. But in a more polished fashion yeah. No I mean I thought the whole. Yeah. The whole film is. You know that you have these people who are so enticed by the thought of immortality the thought of any quest and I thought it was a huge commentary on filming and escapism in general. He said real life awaits us like. With a fork you doing watching a film right now go leave your life. is which is rare for seeing a film, right? Yeah. Roads Kids. That's. He continues to make films for people That you would think he wants people to watch. But yeah, I, I'm guessing a lot of the other ones are surreal. So a lot document or documentaries and believe it or not, and maybe I don't know if we WANNA do this or not for the. Watching the future there is he commentator it's. This fell yeah. That'd be has his commentary every single scene he pauses in talks through it and people say it's like it's just incredible how much you get a get you enter his head and what he his intent was in every seem and not only does it shine?.

I was not laughing at the time. I'll tell you but now I mean I've thought about these scenes a lot and it's some. Really good. Yeah I. Did. It's I totally rewatch this. I think it's a must rewatch. Don't even feel like I can say a lot about it without seeing the couple times and I would. Like you said. Right Bro watching me watching it. Would you know? I don't want to put words in your mouth but I, could see us doing our first rewatch ever with this film. You know few months down the line. "Looks like. I mean. Real animals ever I was like, this is not this is a an older film. This is this is no CGI Yep Morris Peres would would kind of they would have the real dogs barking at each other like face to face, but they wouldn't show the dogs. Actually biting each other this one the dogs yeah. There is some dog violence for sure. And they had. A variety of animals to the elephants. Like peacock I think. I don't know just something it stuck out to me just because of how. Rare it is. Now, to see that interaction and I don't I mean we can have a whole podcast on you know whether you should or should not do that her it was interest justified. And there's a lot of. Symbolism that comes with that especially in this film with including all these animals in. Yeah now I I enjoyed that aspect of it. As long as you enjoy hurting animals, grant animals weren't harmed. Oh. Sure they were. Harmed I saw there was some nine hundred seventy four New York Times article that was. Criticizing the movie for this exactly. It felt like a modern article because it's like unfortunately I cannot look pass these like greeted like. Atrocities done to animals like as weird as this movie is it's Like you know it's fake but the animals that parts real. I don't know of course. Raising a lot but. I'm looking at up, I find that article now that's interesting. It seems like there's a lot. There's a group of people who are really right off the whole film. I don't condone it But I thought it kind of fit in the weird brutal I dunno I in a weird. Right. Oh. It didn't feel let's say it didn't feel out of place fucking weird shit violence throughout it was very the film in for visceral in graphic As Weird Shit happening, there's a lot of violence like. A lot of just. And there's so many weird scenes like there is no break. The kind of explanation of the character's felt like a little bit of a break. But everything else you're just like what the hell man what What's going on here? Do. Remember who was that was that? Aren't now of. All those introductions great. The Jupiter Guy with the love machine. Remember that Shit Oh. Yeah. Did like holly entrance stimulating or machine I mean the love missing orgasm with like a rod in. His driver is not a good lover. That was funny and then the architecture guy, the Pluto Guy who he's like we have to convince people like so he's in real estate..

"He destroys all the statues and then like eats one and then they follow like he he even like acquires. Disciples. In the beginning where he is the group of girls that are following him around with the monkey chimp. Yeah and you know who is a recurring? She was always following him around and she was even later when they're tracking the holy mountain they're. got like. Snow sued. Shit Yeah I didn't get that. That with those disciples though I thought, there is also social commentary about like Pedophiliac is there is a little girl who was like dress scandalous the And then like the old man was like worshiping her. Is. Guy. took his eyeball out and gave and and that to me I yeah I wrote that down like giving up that's like blind worship. You know like he's giving up his site. to blindly worship something in our no fuse worshiping. you know a dig at Catholicism and priests committing pedophilia acts or was it a little little times? Maybe Ninth Yeah? I know that's why. I'm not sure. Addict, it could be a lot of things or it's just like an overall kind of. symbolism of of mast or urges blind worship and. Why I thought the chimp was at first. I'm they look at all these disciples, the edge with chip like they're calling them all like blind animals and monkeys like all these people who worship Jesus Christ. Yeah. So The first half of the movie is kind of. RANDOM NOT RANDOM but. I'll year Raynham I'M GONNA go with random civilians and then it kind of transitions into that quest for the Holy Mountain but they spent a good time. Of. Effort time and effort explaining each of the people that are going to send the mountain and they all kind of they represent a different planet. Different archetype different profession different like basically universe I mean. There're there very difference. Yeah that was probably my favorite part, the film. Both felt more like, yeah. More modern more. Traditional in the sense of storytelling. Yay they would flash, they would introduce them, and then kind of go into what this person was all about Of course, it was like ridiculous but it was all digs is just full like chock full of social commentary. So let's see what I have. Like, they'll have the industrialist and he's just like. Crazy capitalist rate and with like no morals at all and they. WanNa they.

"I would watch it yet. It it's. It's hard to describe. I think how? Outrageous. This film is. How many different things going on between each scene? And they all kind of have this. Like little tint little flavor of some sort of either philosophical spiritual religious political satire message calm political like well social commentary to you know like. Capitalism all that jazz religion everything You don't you don't. I. Mean I had no idea what what to think and I was like trying to, you know come up with something because I feel like I knew beforehand at least Oh this films abstract are what's What's the message you're? You're looking at it and you're to think really hard I. mean you got. Like a dude who looks like Jesus followed around by some. Dwarf. That has like no legs or hands and. which. which may not even exist yet. This at the end. was that a figment of his imagination or I don't know like, Hey, were friends though it seemed like they were having a good time. Except the beginning all the kids like the Kinda hanging up on a cross and I thought everyone I thought he was dead right? Like he had a flower out of his hand, their hearts out of. that. So I would split this film up into two sections. You got this very lengthy kind of pre lewd. Square it's just following this Jesus Christ figure who I'm reading the WIKKI now and I guess he represents the fool tarit. Card in some research done after there's a Lotta Tarit wisdom in meaning In this film, you know with archetypes in and all that and any grams to But. They're following this fool in later identified as the thief right? Who is this Jesus Christ guy and there's no dialogue for. I don't know. That tower. No, they did say they told him to drink. That was like the first dialogue. Triggering pick. Of but I mean the first thirty minutes seems like a different film could be short film in itself because it's all it's super chaotic. A lot of stuff is happening. There's really no plot in the beginning There's you're not introduced to this holy mountain kind of track which you later follow. And it feels just like a bunch of social commentary about. Mass produced religion to me. Because they were taking the thief figure and they. made him drink some castle and then they would yeah, they would put plasters around him and produce a ton of Jesus Christ figurines like life size and. That to me was pretty clear. It's social commentary about. You know. Capitalism or just like mass produced religion. Yeah then he gets super upset start screaming in then eventually like..

God wants all to be saved all the nations, all the peoples and I think is Asia as a prophet trumpeted to choose really were. God has chosen this nation but I say, no, he's air for everyone and the gentile says well as as the as the Jews and Paul certainly today just says I am the apostle of the gentiles and Jesus is telling his disciples and us today I have I come for the Jews and I want to be my father sent me I jus. It's got it's still. I think it's still three I think. Three channels of sound one noise channel. But it's all square wave so it has like a really pure tone to it. I don't think there's a whole lot of duty cycles or or or changes they can do with the sorry pulse with modulation they can do with the square waves. So it's always like a very like I duNno. It's very pure square. Wave sound so when they do these harmonies. It's just it's so I don't know man. We already and it goes on from there. Thank you so much. It's so beautifully written. And that's why I think it makes It's delightful to read for anyone who who enjoys reading but it's also Very captivating for children to hear it read aloud to them And there's so many great animals to become acquainted with polar bears and bats and Koalas and frogs and Albatross Rhinoceros so many in here. This work that you've done a great gift to too many people and and so. I'm so glad you put an all that work. I'm sure it was. It was a blood sweat and tears at the time it was all said and done. Yes especially tears when you start to realize that for example the red not we'd lost seventy five percent of them in my lifetime and this the numbers from this last migration are down again. It does not look good. It was also very sorrowful. Two and a half years to immerse myself in the suffering of innocence. What can be done in in certain in certain cases when someone's reading this and they they can hold space in their heart for the suffering and are there practical things can be done about this. The short you know. I don't in these story say now if you want to protect the red naught. Here's what you can do. I list websites at the back of the book for Protection Groups for each of the ankles and those groups will give you that kind of advice. My aim was just to say fall love with this creature. And then if you want to do something to protect it you can do the research to find out you can look up what to do. Some of. It's quite apparent like with the red not wanted. The reasons they're starving is that we built up the whole shoreline and they have no place to Probe the title plane for these. Of course you crab eggs. Their main sources food on their migration. Because we've just we've built up the whole shoreline A other things are not so obvious what I do put in each portrait. What is at the end? For example of the Red Not Orchard is the story of a woman who is part of a larger research team spends for life tracking their migrations measuring the birds measuring the number of nests measuring the number of or she crab eggs and then trying to get the story out to the wider public. To say. We're losing these amazing words of God these creatures and unless we change our lives they will be no more. That word of God will disappear from the Earth So I think I know I was inspired by the stories of these people who are giving their lives to these birds and I can't run off and be a research scientist or any number of reasons. Mostly I just lack the stamina and the courage of most of most of done but I can be a volunteer. I can go to the eastern shore and volunteer on one of the counts happened in Delaware in the month of May or I can resist development on my corner of the beach. It will become. I really think that if we love something we will find what we need to do to protect it. Yeah I wanted to also ask you about spiritual practices that you do. I'm assuming that many of them have to do with being in the natural world whether it's taking a walk or you know praying outside or or reading outside or something like that. But I was curious I usually try to Or I should say occasionally when a guest comes on I kind of proved them for ideas for spiritual practices that they might do. Some can inspire other people to take up something in that vein. If if they're so inspired yeah of course you would guess its natural conclusion that I do spend time outdoors I mentioned I think that I live in the backyard of an ecosystem preserved. That's run by a university. Calvin University in Grand Rapids Michigan. So that makes it easy for me. Every day to be in the wetlands and in the hardwood forest and to walk slowly to breathe deeply tried to empty my mind and really be with the creatures and listen to what they might say. I also practice contemplative prayer centering prayer which is a century centuries. Old Practice Meant to empty the mind and soften the heart an anchor the will to detach us from our egos which are causing us to our self-absorption that is As hell bent on the way we live unwilling to change so that the practice like that that helps us to Loosen ourselves from our egos and see that deeper self rooted in God rooted in love or others. Unlike ourselves is kind of the cornerstone of my practice helping myself. Get free of myself and read into a larger compassion. Yeah what you're speaking about has a lot to do with presence. offering presents Actually being where you are with the creatures that are near you but also in a sense having presence with your deepest self and not just like the monkey chatter brain. That happens to us all sometimes when we're getting our plans together or something but that actual stealing down Maybe gets to are essential the essential nature of ourselves. We are nature and I think that that escapes me. Sometimes I think I'm just as natural as history of natural like my computer. You know we interact with computers a lot more than trees and so I think sometimes we we separate ourselves from what is actually more. Us and offering presents to nature will hopefully give us more room even just for ourselves or for her fellow humans. Oh and they give back so much more than we give them that we offer. They'd give back so much more presence than we offer. Yeah beautiful well. Is there any final thing you want to say about the book or where you can be found online anything like that? I'm happy to have people contact me through my website. Gail boss DOT COM There's contact form there and I guess I just say in relation to my new book wild hope stories the vanishing that. I'm really persuaded that though. The news is grim and dire. That wild hope is loose in the world. It really if we had the is to see in the ears to hear and that it wants to birth through our suffering love it wants to birth that new creation where we will not hurt or destroy. All God's Holy Mountain like the Prophet Isaiah says it wants to birth through us that that more beautiful world that really lies waiting in each of our hearts so beautiful. Thank you so much Gal. It's just been a pleasure. Thank you Lisa for the opportunity.

Your forefathers gathered you too near together and that fear shall endure a little longer a little longer. Shall your city walls separate your heart from your fields a little longer. Shall your city any walls separate your hearts from your fields and tell me people of or filet. Say What have you in these houses. And what is it you guard with fastened doors. Have you piece. The quiet urge that reveals your power. Have you remembrances the glimmering arches that spanned the summits. Let's of the mind. Have you beauty. "Yeah. With the high priest is symbolically reenacting by going into the holy of holies is itself. A storyline. Humans being in union with God on the cosmic mountain in Eden. Yeah. Yeah. All these storylines overlap. So Daniel seeing is the Eden cosmic mountain where God dwells on his throne. But if you remember the biblical story line, humans were invite. To share? God's throne and rule over the world where they rebelled until they were expelled out of the garden. Holy mountain. Okay. And so the whole biblical story is how to humans get back to the throne restored to the throne to rule the world longside. God, right. That's the way. This this video's going to be about. I guess it's the first time I had the image of you know, in Eden. God is there, but he's never talked about as being on a throne or anything. Oh, no. You get that from later in the biblical story that kind of back fills. Yeah. The imagery it'd be but that's interesting to think about God on the throne in Eden and then empty throw next to him that Adam Niebuhr supposed to fill. Yeah. Daniel seven is re painting the Genesis garden of Eden. Genesis wanted to setting and depicting the absentee human rulers. And the fact that the glaring absence that God doesn't want to have that post unfilled. And it uses the image of an occupied thrown and then an unoccupied thrown beside him, and what we need from page three. Genesis onward is human who will go ascend the holy mountain. Go back to Eden and become the truly human one who will rule the world. Longside got nuts. What Daniel's vision is about? So there you go. So the vision continues he sees the Royal throne surrounded by all these Djelic beings. Holy ones. Rounding him that. It says the court sat and the books were opened. There's a courtroom courtroom on final active Justice a final reckoning ham or ultimate say ultimate reckoning happening. The divine judge is sitting all creation is before him and the divine record books so to speak, then Daniel. Says I kept looking in the night, visions and behold with the clouds of the heavens clouds of the skies one like a son of humanity was coming up to the ancient of days, so member of days is up in the clouds on the divine throne. And so he sees a human writing cloud, and he calls him like a son of man says one. Yeah. Like, a human like a son of man, and he's coming and he's writing on the cloud up to the divine. Throne says he was presented before him son of man's presented before the ancient of days and to the son of man by the ancient today's is given dominion glory and a kingdom that all peoples and nations and people have every language might serve him literally be prostrate before him that human ones dominion is eternal. It will not pass away. His. Kingdom is one which will not be destroyed. And then the next thing happens in the dreams that the beasts are all destroyed killed and the son of man figures exalted over the nation's stream the stream is the source of the most common phrase entitled Jesus used to grab himself the source for the first time its users just the most important time. It's the most cram-packed one. And if you look at all the time Jesus calls himself son of man, there's other things in the sayings. Make it clear that he's referring to talks about the son of man having thority Reuben. That's what this is talking about the son of a human being given thorny rule..
