"Graduated high school after his junior year and goes to Boston University of the 17 year old and then gets drafted out a Dallas in the first round of me like that. But one of the things that there was a cop, there's the holtby conversation. I hope he'll do it in the end, but before that, some people forget because so the stars that also draft point who was coming out of who had a tremendous collegiate career at Colgate was someone who was really good was part of had reached was on the Canadian team for world junior and essentially it was there was a point where they're trying to the reason Colton point came out of college a year earlier was because he thought he had to come out of your earlier to get a tragic he tried to beat a beat him to the bunch. He thought he had to yes. He thought he had to, he thought he had to beat a hundred to be a pro. He had these like, if I get ahead of it, and I talked to and I know, and I've talked to people who know Jake well about this, or they looked at their like, well, he's like, it's like, well, I don't need gimmicks. I'm just going to go beat them straight up and then obviously Colton put corn points certain things that are completely out of it. It's like the madman meme with Don Draper in the elevator. When his understudies, I feel sorry for you, I feel bad for you, and then he just looks somebody's like, I don't think about you at all. Yeah, do whatever you want, man. I'm coming. I'm going to take that job. I love that. That is a fantastic story. And yeah, it'll be interesting. These might be famous last words because the playoffs are very weird and random and especially goalie performance can swing wildly, but my confidence in him right now in terms of just stopping shots. He at least should stop. It was about as high as pretty much anyone in the league and I'm very curious to see in this series against Seattle. I'm doing a big preview of the series tomorrow, so I don't want to step on the toes of it too much, but it's a fascinating matchup because the kraken, they led the league in shooting percentage in the regular season. They've been very opportunistic. I think some of it is certainly just a magical ride and good things go in their way and not necessarily indicative of something they're doing so special, but some of it is they clearly attack very quickly and kind of put opposing defenses in opposing goalies in some potentially compromising positions where they're not ready for shots. And so this is going to be a good test for him in round two and if he can keep it up. I certainly think it's a bigger offensive test than what Minnesota was able to pose with capris I've clearly limited and Hartman heard and all that and Gerald earlier and not in the lineup. That's going to be a good one. And if he keeps this going in another 5 to 7 games in that series, then all of a sudden heading into the conference final, we're going to have a very interesting story to tell about whoever he plays coming out of the Pacific. Yeah, it's going to be I love the I love the Dodger story. I love where it's going. And it's going to be you're right about the Seattle team is going to be. And once again, we won't step on your toes with your preview. But this Seattle team is interesting, just it's a team that is

"Holtby <Speech_Male> your replacement <Speech_Male> for rats. Like <Speech_Male> what happens? The rest <Speech_Male> comes back. You <Speech_Male> just sticking with him like <Speech_Male> you kicking <SpeakerChange> Hopi <Speech_Male> to the curb or, <Speech_Male> you know, it's one thing <Silence> to do it if it's like a, <Speech_Male> a veteran <Speech_Male> journeyman <Speech_Male> like Craig <Speech_Male> Anderson who just there <Speech_Male> for insurance right. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> But it's <Speech_Male> written o p and you <Speech_Male> got rats. Join me in <Speech_Male> and again you have <Speech_Male> to sign. R asked if <Speech_Male> you wanted back <Speech_Male> then we talk about <Speech_Male> this all the time. It's a bunch of moving <Speech_Male> PODS, but I don't know <Speech_Male> how hope the <Speech_Male> and establish <Speech_Male> data <Speech_Male> who granted is <Speech_Male> not good, but he's still an established <Speech_Male> guy, <Speech_Male> if it's kind of <Speech_Telephony_Male> what you're looking at. If you're looking <Silence> for just a <Speech_Male> month, a stopgap <Speech_Male> before. <Speech_Male> Rest <SpeakerChange> comes back, <Speech_Male> you mentioned <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> in this just made me break <Speech_Male> into a cold sweat. You mentioned <Speech_Male> the whole argument of, <Speech_Male> you know, hopefully being <Speech_Male> a winner and winning a cup <Silence> and rasped not <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> And <Speech_Male> you know, that <Speech_Male> there's a large portion <Silence> of the <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> city of <Speech_Male> the fanbase, it's going <Speech_Male> to be, it's going to say that <Speech_Male> that <Speech_Male> is going to make that <Speech_Male> argument. And it's like <Speech_Male> take five <Speech_Male> minutes, just <Silence> five minutes. <Speech_Male> And <Speech_Male> look at the stats just <Speech_Male> please, please, <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> I <Speech_Male> know some of you out there, I <Speech_Male> get it. I totally get it. <Speech_Male> You know, you're not like <Speech_Male> us, you're not knows <Speech_Male> deep <Speech_Male> in stats and <Speech_Male> stuff. And <Silence> that's fine. Just <Speech_Male> before <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> you tweet about it, please <Speech_Male> please, <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> please <Speech_Male> look <Speech_Music_Male> at the stats. That's all <Speech_Male> that's all I ask. <Speech_Male> That's all I ask because <Speech_Male> the stats are horrible <Speech_Male> and I again it <Speech_Male> surprised me last night <Speech_Male> when I was looking at them. Interesting <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> people. I mean Curtis mcelhinney <Speech_Male> not great <Speech_Male> but maybe, you know, <Speech_Male> for a few <Silence> <Advertisement> months for like <Speech_Male> $900,000, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> maybe that's something. <Speech_Male> I mean, I'm not I'm <Speech_Male> not big on <Speech_Male> it. Craig Anderson's <Speech_Male> another, you <Silence> mentioned. So <Speech_Male> there's <Speech_Male> options out there <Speech_Male> in the free-agent Market. I <Speech_Male> don't think this is like Center <Speech_Male> again, you're not looking <Speech_Male> for a starting goalie, <Speech_Male> for the forever, <Speech_Male> you're <Speech_Male> looking for job. <Silence> You know, just a, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> a guy who can step in, <Speech_Male> you know, you know <Speech_Male> what, you're going to get out of <Speech_Male> and I think <Speech_Male> they need that definitely <Speech_Male> badly <Speech_Male> and I'm interested to see what they <Speech_Male> do. Cuz I <Speech_Male> when signing opens <Speech_Male> I would not be surprised <Speech_Male> to see them kind of <Speech_Male> use something with <Speech_Male> a guy in net <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> cuz again I don't <Speech_Male> you can't <Speech_Male> play the kids in that <Speech_Male> you can't go <Speech_Male> into the season with swimming, <Speech_Male> you know. You can dick <Speech_Male> around that on defense. <Speech_Male> You can either do it at Center <Speech_Male> but in <Speech_Male> that that's not exactly <Speech_Male> a <Speech_Male> winning plan <Speech_Male> going <Speech_Male> into next season. <Speech_Male> That is today's episode <Speech_Male> before <Speech_Male> we leave Connors anything that <Silence> you would like to plug. <Speech_Male> Yeah, we're going <Speech_Male> to be off. You looking <Speech_Male> at once <Speech_Male> things ramped up on, Wednesday <Speech_Male> will be breaking down <Speech_Male> all <Speech_Male> the Bruins <Speech_Male> free and <Speech_Male> see targets. Do they get. <Speech_Male> Hopefully, they <Speech_Male> have signed up to you guys <Speech_Male> by Wednesday, or Thursday, <Speech_Male> and record <Speech_Male> em. Next episode <Speech_Male> of poke the bear, so we can <Speech_Male> break that down, <Speech_Male> but <Speech_Male> we'll have all the <Speech_Male> reaction, <Speech_Telephony_Male> you know, breakdowns, <Speech_Male> all that good stuff over at bhj <Speech_Male> as the <Speech_Male> news drops. <Speech_Male> So follow <Speech_Male> us and subscribe <Speech_Male> over. Yep. Boston <Speech_Male> Sports channel, <Speech_Male> you know, follow me on Twitter, <Speech_Telephony_Male> you can do that at, <Speech_Male> I'm <SpeakerChange> just go and <Silence> 93, <Speech_Male> do all that <Speech_Male> for clns media. <Speech_Male> I'm have marinacci. <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> You bruise, be listeners. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> Have a great rest <SpeakerChange> <Music> <Advertisement> of your week <Music> <Advertisement> off.

"It's hard to completely Bank on him for season. You can say, is to go to the future, but to actually have him be the starter on a team that is looking to go to the Stanley Cup is tough, that's just how it works is dead. But there are some interesting older free-agent options in that. I mean again, halak is officially gone. That is not, he's not returning, he's not coming back. That has been announced crunch. Alan Walsh Meadow for not making a big deal out of it. You know, you just kind of, I think you tweeted it. You said it to someone so not not a huge, you know, picture of Sweeney putting a sword in the bath. La creditas crazy like that. Um, but what is interesting what is interesting is there's one named. That's right, he's not even a free agent he's it's Braden. Holtby out in Vancouver you know Vancouver wants to buy them out and that's one name that's been kicked around. Is may be a guy who come in and no absolutely not. No you don't want Braden holtby near your team. And we said this last offseason we this was people were saying this last offseason in Vancouver went and signed up to 2 years 4 million per awful. And I was looking at the stats last night every single month, Vance, even worse than you think it's worse than you think. It's like I thought he was like bottom climbing. Yeah, yeah, I think he was this horrible and I'm not going to go step-by-step because it's hard to podcast people off. This is is boring. But you can go down the line and he's bottom five in every stat, every single stat. He's bottom five in high danger. Say percentage. Granted yet he was behind a shity Canucks. Defense took. I'll give him that crappy connects defense but hellebuyck's behind a horrible or behind a bad defense in Winnipeg Thatcher. Demko wasn't terrible in Vancouver. Hope he was terrible. Hope he was so awful like the numbers if you want to go check them out. Go to Natural stat trick and look at them yourself. They're terrible. This is not a guy. You want even at a million? A million-and-a-half. I don't care that. You want a cup. A few years ago I don't care that he used to kill you whenever he play you play the Bruins, I don't care. He's not good. Stop with the whole. You know, do the Brewers are going to, you know, sweep in and get Opie on the cheek wage. No let another team. Make a stupid decision like that. Like, like they can ice skating Oliver ekman-larsson, which is also the dump and now having to dump all these hundred. Yeah no. I I was thinking about this yesterday, the Bruins being interested in that and just program to a cold sweat cuz I know the arguments going to be is that he's one. So he's better than Rask when he's been a below below replacement. Level player for eight years now like he's been dogshit. So I know that arguments coming the Bruins somehow get in the mix or there's rumors about it so whether you don't get it, he's a winner. Yeah he has a hidden 897 say percentage, his last two capitals and that's why they replaced him with uh feet Advantage. Check and Sandstone off and all those guys have the Bruins roasted in the offs, that that was a better option on it. And he'll be brought them. But Yeah, if that's a guy that's very concerning whether even if they're eating some of the cap, the Vancouver Canucks and it's a one-year deal. I don't know how you go into it cuz then you go back into the mix of is Braden..

The stars are going to have no leverage in Khudobin negotiate if if he's not picking in the expansion draft so but the good thing about that is if he's not picking the expansion. "And he's just still playing the puck like it almost it almost feels like last night when I was watching, like they just weren't in sync the defense and it wasn't necessarily that either one of them was particularly bad, they just weren't together, which is critical to winning a playoff game. I wonder how much of that is due to the fact. And I, you know, I notice this at the game last night off quicker, the aisles for Words seems to be on the for Chuck, then they were on Friday night. Like it was it was just amazing how quickly it was like vultures zooming in to get to that Puck. And I wonder if that didn't have some, you know, it clearly gave the Bruins defensive structure a lot of problems. And that's something that they're going to need. They're going to need to figure out because I don't see the Islanders letting up on that aspect of their game. Big difference in this series, from last series, though, to touch on exactly what you just said. That's all Barry trotz. Barry trotz is a smart enough coach to make adjustments. Peter Lafayette, did not make adjustments at the end of the tunnel series. Peter Lafayette is a moron gave away that series, whereas Barry trotz is going to fight until the last possible. Second, I'm a big trout sky. But well, he's phenomenal coach. And I brought that up when I called 98.5, The Sports Hub on Saturday. And I asked, Bob, Beers and Judd Sarat and, you know, the whole the show Ryan johnstun, I asked him that very question is coaching potentially going to be an impact. On this series because, you know, let's not forget who coached the Washington Capitals, all those years when they gave us all those fits now? Yes, I get it. They had Braden holtby thought was a flipping wall and we couldn't seem to score but they also had a structure that worked that deterred the Bruins from having success against them and I think not having Craig Smith in the lineup to let's not underestimate the degree of difficulty that's causing for the Boston Bruins game. Well yeah and and great Point by you Maria about Smith and line shuffling and then you start thinking about what Andrew said about the noise. I mean, how long is a lot of different things? Everybody is going through certain different times and so on, but the Bruins haven't had a, you know, a jam-packed place when they feel that playoff, you know, that seventh man, dead. In in the stands. And that could be, it communication might not be so easy, because these guys have been basically playing fourteen months without people in buildings so long. I could definitely see that. But and, and when you miss match lines, because you're missing a very important person player. I could see communication being a slight issue, but professionals though, they mean, they gotta work through these types of things. And, and yeah, it's, it's very true. It's just, he's always done even when he was in Nashville for so many fifteen years, Thomas. Hey, was just first, coach just played that boring boring type of hockey, but that boring type of hockey game and drinking games. So it's effective. Yeah. What was it? The 131, it's crazy. Yeah. Isn't that the the The same place is the New Jersey Devils used to play Ottawa. Senators play my God, you know, it's like puts you to sleep watching it but it works. Yeah. Well, let's move on to something else. We talked about the Rask penalties. All right, let's let's not talk about what the officials did..

Go out there again, doctors are prescribing, it, it's not weird. Don't worry about it. It's nothing to be awkward about. It's all about having great sex so let's do it. Thanks Juju. It's always silly season with blue to thank you blue chew as always for putting up with the black and gold hockey podcast. All right, boys, back to the hockey. Let's talk, let's talk old hunting Marco. Hi clearly, we have an advantage, it doesn't matter which way you look at it as Brett said before the blue shoe ad. You know this page is looking good so far. I mean he hasn't been playing much getting arrested. He needs, but in the time frame that he was building up to the postseason, we saw some positive things off. So I feel good with that. I also feel good that, if something happens that you go, we have a very, very reliable Jeremy. Swimming has been playing unbelievable this year and and juice. So so happy for that kid, you know, being a draft pick and being around him since pretty much day one and and just following his progress as in, in such a short time, has found a thrill to watch and see. So, you know, I can't wait for the future. I'm really looking forward to him taking over, but, you know, it's it's I want to see to be on a short leash to. I don't want the Cassidy to be so pressured. That, you know, that you're putting you leaving. R asking for bad situations too long. And if you see something that you're not liking, please address it sooner rather than later because series can change just like that. So, I feel good about the goal-tending on our side, obviously it's biased, but when you look at the Washington goaltending, it's it's not it's nothing compared to what we've seen in the past, like somebody said was Braden holtby. So yeah. Hope he was a Bruins killer to watch him play against us, the past eight, or so years. But yeah, Cassidy said, cam Nealy said, it's Sweeney said it's women's are in the spot. It says, spot the backup spot, they're confident in him. The boys, I was watching behind the be the boys are confidential and they love them. They think he's hilarious and I don't know. I just think going forward. It sucks to see halak take a backseat but with the group we have and the age that they're all incoming, you have to go with your best options at this point. Like he said, sorry. Cassidy said, some guys are going to be upset about not playing in the playoffs but you know he wants to win wage. Been close enough times and these guys know how to win. They brought in guys like Taylor Hall, who have one in the past and have success in playoffs..

"And we dumped York's contract and, you know, Lazar and she kind of, you know, Trade each other out trade each other out so that that that that was awesome but after the trade deadline, obviously now I feel great. I mean you see Taylor Hall UC krejci? You see that we have two lines? Now, we don't have to talk about the brochure online. Now, we have two lines. Now, that could be true, like true, big-time threats, and what was the last time we were able to say that 2011 with Horton oil change and create you? I mean, yeah, it feels like it's been a long time in the making Taylor Hall, finally got a swingers Smith is done, is done the job, just fine all season long, no matter what life is, played on and heading into the playoffs. I feel damn good and I feel pretty good going in against the Caps because brain Braden, holtby is no longer a cap and he was Notorious for being a Bruins killer. So yeah, the going with Vanek, it sounds like, I mean, you got could Nets off and what's the Samuelson off Samsung fridge. Sonoff. Yeah, I hear I want to say that's enough name. Always say it depends if you're Jack Edwards or not. Yeah. How it's pronounced wage. And what kind of night it is for Jack Edward? Yeah, yeah, no I'm feeling great going into the playoffs the teams buzz and the clicking on all cylinders right now and I feel great going into the playoffs with the Bruins right now. Nice Brett, go for it buddy. Go before the playoffs. I came on your podcast and we talked to her sorry before the trade deadline, we talked a little bit about what I thought going forward and I had that little piece of information from that Source. I hadn't Bode. I could drop the Nugget. You guys you guys didn't hear this. It was amazing. I'm like nah. Come on. No no no, I was blowing it off and all of a sudden I'm like, fuck. He was right? Yeah. In the DM's. I had a buddy of work for Buffalo and he told me. The trade was hall for a second and Bjork and I didn't know about Lazar at the time, but I didn't even want to break it or anything, cuz I thought he was crazy, right. Cuz we all had the same look going into the trade deadline weird. You know, it didn't look very promising. Like, like you said, in the past, like Busey said, like Sweeney, man, last year was not a good trade deadline, you know, his drafting hasn't been the bulb, but he really stepped up to the plate this time. He swung for the fences, and I stayed up all night, waiting for that trade to happen. I had to work at 5:30 in the morning, and I was sitting up in bed and midnight waiting, just waiting, cuz I couldn't believe it once I knew like, what was going down. But I know cuz the threat was just like, dude, I just broke. I broke news to five people in my friends list of people, looking to trash on me, if I, if I get this wrong so I can see right now. Yeah, absolutely. The deadline. We saw it happened. It was like first or second game, Taylor Hall just log. Go over crazy. Looks like a 2011 crazy all over again..

Their first game back in over three and a half weeks right back completely crazy to see and they went winning three two on the back of braden holtby to on the back of the bounces that they received to bring in hoagies save. I think i watched that clip. Probably sixteen times. Yeah the say the hashtag save that windmill. Save literally i. I couldn't stop. I literally picked him up on my fantasy team that next day. Yeah i know. I saw that because of that save. I picked. Brayden hoping yeah. He played really well. I know it's like it feels like had made brayden hopi a better goal. you know. Maybe his turtles that he has house pet turtles. Were backing them up. Maybe they're colbert right but Now he actually played really well and You know the team played with energy. Surprisingly i mean granted besides like you know the penalty killers always being tired and especially tired of the f. Five minute misconduct on editor for the hit on highland. There wasn't a lot of the same pressure they got of A lucky bounces jason's pessimistic good empty-net chance basically and they won three to the second game. They won six three Again they played. They played a bit sloppy but Hockey you know The played very sloppy but still found a way to win and last night they you know they kind of got brought back down to earth because everybody went from and it was really interesting everybody went from. Oh you know this team you know is going to play like shit. This team is going to do nothing. And it's like they win two games against toronto. All the playoffs are playoffs. It's like to settle down like they're not making the playoffs like they're like you know. Montreal and calgary are free falling down the standings but there's no way that the conducts are making playoffs. Like i'm not looking forward to that at all. I don't think it's going to happen. "Been saying this now is the time to get in on the Bruins, you know, if you're like what you're seeing them put some money on them go for it. Everybody's that promo code CLS 53 or 50% Welcome bonus without further Ado here is my conversation. With kind of rhyme and we're here with Conor Ryan Conor what is up and then not much going on with you much snowing which is always fun as we record this. Thank you, sir. All of these podcasts now what we have and we've also gone so deep on the weather. I feel like every broadcast. It's we go deep into the weather and kind of how unfortunate it can be and how this feel season feels so weird, but now with the Superbowl over wage, it's just it's hockey and basketball. That's what it is. It's that's all we got right now excited for spring training with the the 2021 Red Sox. I forgot about that. It's funny the spring training to me. I I love when spring training comes around cuz I usually means that spring is here and like warm weather is on the way which I always loved so having it back. I'll enjoy watching the Red Sox. I will birth. yes wretched team wretched retrogression but your Boston Bruins not so bad not even close their the top one of the top team in the NHL right now points-wise that's one of the page or Annika it's easiest at I don't have that in front of me they are tied for second with Montreal at least at the time we were recording this in Toronto jumped ahead and which you know I think they've got em games up on everyone else but also to be fair like we probably talk about this another time in terms of how these divisions are stacking up but there's some horseshit s teams and that Canadian home oh yes like and it's funny the Canucks have turned out just as we thought net Thatcher Demko has been terrible Braden holtby's been terrible like in a defense in front of them is a much better off oh no no no it's it is not it is not but you're right that Canadian division is just I mean you look at you know you have Toronto and Montreal at the top and then like going into the season. Put Montreal up with Toronto, but now after seeing them they're really good. They're very good team. Yeah, and that would have been that would have been a tough match up the Bruins this year. But then after that you've Winnipeg Edmonton Vancouver Calgary, I think those are all interchangeable with them wherever you want and then you have Ottawa. So those are not it's not a hard division by any meat know like we talked a lot about Tampa in the South just running training everyone but that leaves look more competitive than Canadian the Canadian division like yeah. Toronto is good Montreal has been very good..

"About getting done. And now it looks like he's rejuvenated. So it's got a ton of proof. No doubt. But here's a question for you that we're going a little off the agenda here, which I don't care package is is okay you comes back for one more season every there's a lot of people Bruins fans cuz yes, bring them back 7 million is very very great price for him. But I don't think that the girls would would want to entertain a seven million dollar deal that he's making right now for one season. So this is an audition year under contract and if he gets another deal, I would say it's going to be five in a sub. It could be under four million for one year, you know, I think he just wants to hang on for that that one extra push to get it himself. He's under he's under the name of Tim Thomas and it'll never end until he finally does it himself and it won't be as a backup. It has to be as a starter because Boston Bruins fans are so spoiled in, New Jersey. We just good for them. So, you know if it happens, I'm sure that he'll take a cat friendly deal to keep going to achieve something like that. If he's going to be greedy and said I want what I make in my last five years the walk walk. There's plenty of free agents out their goaltenders now have been the slapshot sweethearts. You know those guys those ladies, right? Yeah right off of a great YouTube channel and they were doing a thing on goaltenders and and the narrative was young goaltenders around 25 years old and those goaltenders right now. So plentiful that you can get for a short-term two or three million dollar deal and still get good value in good playing out of so the market is going to dictate what happens to Tuukka Rask in the future. I think that's true. And if you look at Braden holtby, he's at like a little under five he signed a deal and then it was Hank Hank Lundqvist got you know, you know, obviously the one-year but he's he's going to he's And but you know, I think you might see it in a whole be I think you're right. I think you might see it in a whole be or at least the Bruins will come to the negotiating table saying this is what this is what you get as far as goalie marked Advantage, especially in this climate financially and and they've been really, you know, cautious about giving out term and and giving in and you've seen the the average salaries plummet you had so in Rask being thirty-four at the time or whatever he's going to be. Yeah, you might see a one-year five million and you know what you may have to take something like that cuz I know if someone else unless Colorado fails again and wants to make one world go ahead and give them six or seven even but I don't know if that would happen cuz around the league teams are real cognizant of their revenue and I and and what they're going to spend on a 34 year old goaltender. Just just to add to that if right Colorado let's use that as an example if caller ID..

Tim Thomas Tuukka Rask Boston Bruins 7 million Colorado six one year YouTube one-year Braden holtby two thirty-four seven Rask one season 34 year old New Jersey one more season five Hank Hank Lundqvist

What a mess: Predators beat Caps 5-4

"Choppy ice let the sloppy play with some weird balances to when the capitals way but the predators prevailed five for scoring twice in the third period Nashville had blown a three one lead the caps bouncing back though on a bounce off the end boards that went past goalie you say sorrows who was there and guess who was there for the layout which is still story Steve this is is the the third third the the cavs tied up when Nick Bonino put the puck in his own net Braden Holtby gave up a short handed goal with his clearing but pass was intercepted the gas going just one for five on the power play coach Todd reared in those I can do better than that those are same things we saw before the break and shows its face again here right away after the break so I'd say it's great chancery address and let everyone know that those problems and go away and you know we gotta get back to work and and fixing them because as a games get higher and higher level of importance those are ones like that will cost you games and we need to learn lessons from the predators have the capitals number they have beat them how eight straight
