"And she was doing them in layers of ceylon and magenta and yellow like creating color separations. Basically that then got turned into color on the computer If very geeky process. I won't go on any more about it but the the end result is i think is very luminous washy colors that i really like a lot. Yeah they look almost like a watercolor of quality. She she was she was doing it physically to it wasn't on the computer. She was painting with a brush and great inc. So all that stuff is actually painted. Yes so you would. How would i mean that's fascinating. He goes if it's an interesting collaboration. And you applause. Might you wanted to do. Then she would paint over it or with. Are there parts of it that she actually originally it was. It was a process determining matt. You know. I'm used to working alone. I rarely collaborated with anyone. Here was unnecessary collaboration. And i try to control as much as i could as. I am what to do by showing her. I want this to be read in this to be green. I i do a sketch with colored pencils and then handed over her but inevitably she ended up having to make a lot of creative decisions on her own. And i had to let go. I had turned over so that was kind of cool. Because i was like having to live out the thing i was writing about. I mean you you. This is why i feel like i can ask austin because in your book you write a lot about your romantic relationships and the impact that your work had on the very often your partners felt the you kind of were choosing work over the over everything else with holly hollywood. Just come aboard. And i'll put to work. We've been over a lot of stuff you know. I've always been very rigid about my work about sticking off this the world of my work and it would always come first and with holly..

"Up to pay fifteen to twenty bucks a month to get three or four tunes rentals. It's basically prepaying but you know in the psychological mind of a consumer you know it sounds like a good deal and i think renting movies on itunes on the apple. Tv you know or any other tv is a good experience. And so that's what apple should be really pushing beyond originals. Do you think that eddie. Cue the folks who running this tv service now are surprised at how long how much money they've had to spend to get not very good results. They have maybe to kind of well received shows the morning show and ted lasso season. One people don't seem to like ted last season to That's after a couple years and billions of dollars in expenditures. They had a giant event in california. Where they brought up oprah and steven spielberg and none of those people seem to have made an impact Do you think they thought they would move faster than the half. Yes i do. And i also don't think spending over a billion dollars per year on original content without making in our y is sustainable even for a company that's worth two and a half trillion dollars. They're going to have to move on at some point or rapidly operated by embedding backlogs of content. I think if they have a backlog of content their subscriber numbers will dramatically. Jump up if they have a real tribal to in amazon prime. What i will say and this might sound obvious but cope. It really hurt them. They launched their first slate of shows right before covert hit. Then cova vignettes. Holly hollywood stops. The industry stops and they basically use a year lose a year and a half two years of content right when they launched so i think joins join the club. Webby excuse. hbo max excuse net flicks for awhile. Benefited from covert. Because they had a bunch of stuff. Now they're saying covert is hurt them because they don't have new shows turn everyone yes of course and i'm not making an excuse for them but i think the reality is they lost a lot of momentum because of it people finished season one of the morning show and ted lasso and the other couple of shows that are popular right and then they couldn't follow up with season two until two years later rate these shows i launched in the fall of twenty nine thousand nine the second seasons haven't even launched yet and we're in the fall twenty one and obviously that's because of kovic so i think the last year for tv plus was awash in some respects the same time if they had proper backlog of content if they mitigated some of the content issues by allowing free i tunes rentals and such if they had more going on there covert would not have had as as much of an impact on tv pluses. It did want to hard right here. And ask you about internal apple. Culture is getting closer to talking about how you do your job. I'm not gonna ask you who your sources are. But i'm curious one of the reasons you did your job so well as it was such a very hard to get stories out of apple for most journalists most reporters it was a famously closed culture And a lot of times people who did at least i found good reporting on apple. Were doing it outside the company. I would write stories about apple's media interests. Because i talked to media companies long way of saying now. We're hearing a lot of stories some written by my colleagues during ghaffari at recode and so we shy for it Sorry if i mispronounce last name at the verge about apple. Employees complaining about internal culture using their real names being quoted in stories. Do you think that first of all how significant is that changed from your perspective. It's certainly knew it's certainly something. That really did not happen much before. I mean there were apple employees who were writing under pseudonyms and expressing their feelings privately and such but i think people going on the record and posting publicly about it is definitely new for the company From what. I've seen it still a fairly small-scale Right you could have five employees. It's it will seem huge. But it's five employees right what you're not seeing and maybe this is because a covert but you're not seeing the mass walkouts you've seen at google and other companies. It hasn't hit that level of crisis mode entirely sure it will But it's definitely something to keep an eye on. Do you think that shift is. That's the shift. That's affecting the way a workers or certain group of workers just view their role in the world and they want changes and it's happening in google and facebook and other big companies and so he would inevitably get to apple. Do you think some of this is very specific to slack and sort of what slack does internally and the culture in do think some of this. Is tim cook saying actively saying you know we're going to. We're going to allow some of this to exist. We're not gonna clamp down on it in a way we would have done earlier. I think it's a mix of things on the tim. Cook portion and apple clamping clamping down on it As long as these people aren't publicly posting product information under their own names. I don't think there's anything apple can do about it. If apple started you know firing employees for speaking out about workplace issues publicly it would be complete firestorm. They wouldn't be able to hire anyone That's a major change right. 'cause in the but in the old is they would absolutely do that. I remember talking to pr people who said they would lose their job. If they were quoted in their job was to talk to the press and they were told. No the only person who's name is attached to anything coming from apple. Is steve jobs. So even that seems like a significant change. Yeah but these days it's different stories. First of all steve jobs is no longer there right. They don't have the visionary in charge. They once did this. You know god-like figure that was a halo over the whole company in second apple's not the rash you know market leading startup that perhaps once was safe that have it's an establishment right. I'm not saying they're ibm. But they have real competition. For hiring the best folks from amazon from google facebook from startups right. You can't really mess around with that anymore. If they wanna keep coming out smash products they need the best people in order to get this done. So i think without that's one aspect of it. The second thing is slack having ten thousand employees one group chopping able to voice their concerns and such. That's another big change for apple. I think apple executives absolutely regret ever allowing slacked again join the club as the new york times and lots of other places about that like five..

Yup i mean. No i i want to say more but i don't know what else to say other than i'm proud of you. I really am i. We told you that you're gonna blow up at some point and we are people you know they don't know where starting i kinda army four in heavy equipment operation for years laying clearing two years ago fact. "Am i the only one who reads this and goes hunting home. Holly hollywood i mean the points that i get out of the abstract i can easily refute and the points that are obscure op few skating fuzzy. Nonsensical and ridiculous. I have no answer for because they don't need one but let me go through this a little bit but let me explain to you. Why even bring this up. Because this whole idea but distributed ledger solving all the financial woes. Somehow getting the getting government off of our backs somehow a winning the financial day. We're going to all be free because the banks are taken out of the equation to third party administrators this little this little repository the centralization of all transactions. Here's the problem. Bitcoin or i should just say. In general crypto is solution to a fabricated problem. This is a very normal tactic of the conspiritors. By the way they create the problem and then they offer you the solution and by the way both of them are damnable for you pay. It's think about the vaccine corona vars. Looks like it was hatched in china. Oh guess what vaccine hatched in america. One 'cause it one prevents it supposedly and both can be a problem to you right. Everyone talks about Inflation you know. And supposedly the government's fighting inflation while government's creating inflation. They create the problem and the solution. The same laboratory. believe me. you're not being helped. You're being manipulated. Okay so i read the abstract new all you. Y'all clear getting here right. Listen to the trick is being played. The alleged demon and the operation are these financial institutions and trusted third. Party centralized efforts right. That's the well. Why do we have to have those two things now. Whereas they created the banking system they create the trusted third party centralized where all transactions are running through. And now they're offering you the solution. Alleged allegedly offering the solution peer to peer. Listen to the key phrase electronic cash system well why is it electronic cash. You can say well that's easier come on man you're gonna fight against credit cards and checks and all these digits flying through the ether. No i'm not really fighting against that. What i'm saying is is. It doesn't have to be that does it. A virtual money caused the problem. They're just saying let's virtual. Is it some more. Does that make anybody that makes sense to any anybody's universe. So let me make a few few disclaimers again just so you won't lose my point. I don't wanna. I don't wanna bunch of nasty grams that i'm not going along with progress. Or whenever which. I talked about a week or so ago. I'm not against bitcoin. Or crypto in the strict sense. I'm not happy if you want to come up with some alternate means of creating some payment transaction process and do it through electronic means. We already had it. But if you wanna do it again in some different variation. I can't impose to it i also will let you know the told you you can speculate in in the whole idea of cryptos going gain value and trying to make a penny if you can but as a solution to money woes. It's not okay because the problem is not money in the strict sense. The problem is what they've done to money.

"Issue of crossings when it comes to trafficking and slavery as well on those lines and that's probably backdrop to governments new plan for immigration. Which is actually come under fire. Of course so many people locally are when it comes to refugee groups here and refugee action groups likely hearing. Can you believe that actually makes it harder for asylum seekers to come here into seek asada ring true when you see the numbers who jumped tickly coming down at your cost. Would with the government would of course with say. That's the reason why they do need to overhaul the system. But now when you do see the crossings. Increase like this and When you consider that many of these people and it's it's it's really important that they are people as well as well as people who are in desperate native of a new home themselves all all victims and things importance of course remember that when they do arrive here. What happens to them. And what their destination in people locally are tend to become worried the is do they. Will they stay here. We settle here. Because we have a holding censor a nike barracks. Which of the last few months has become a bit of a lightning rod up this direction for only recently fact over the weekend there was a very very small protests. Native core endeavor from those who believe the problem of immigration is something that isn't being been tackled and i use the word problem is. That's the way that they would use you seeing these these issues completing so it's interesting to see what the government's immigration overhaul does to these and of course what happens to people when they do right here on these shores and now the humanitarian aspects of that we are. What are they sent back to use that phrase or do you are allowed to settle here Regardless whatever they come here and the the overriding message from the refugee local wreckage. Action grapes series. That what all the safe. The legal routes. Yeah on that. I paid to be there have been established. Of course you will have these crossings because people tried to circumvent the actual The legal Ways of of getting here and if they're aren't any kind of migo ways of of coming here and of course you're going to see these. This increase in the number of crossings uptick nikos when it comes to warm weather. So it's an ongoing issue is something very much. The people locally are aware of soclean kind of coastal towns thinking. I'm here as i say w around folkston but there is a against the backdrop of maybe do to help with just just. Don't know how thanks to bring your attention to that league and the press and journal of course the headlines and. Tom tweeted this morning being a busy with ketchup teaching and learning for pupils in england but in scotland the still a debate. An issue with the appeals process For exams of the highest under those. What's happening with that. And will the deputy first minister. John sweeney was in charge of education scotland until the election. He weathered a few pretty tricky storms them with the way. The exams handled in pd school year. The whole system in scotland was first similar kind of problem in england as well. I think where initial grades spar judge to be unfair in the way they would awarded it goes all kinds of trauma appeared to keyed lies. She pulls from poorer backgrounds on teachers. Eventually were students to use their own judgement. Which is many of them had asked for in the first place so there was a lot of unnecessary anguish for law people teenagers in june a pretty tough year already the new education secretary would make a statement and a couple of hours sets flemish parliament by the appeals process for hires and hide exams in a national fives. So senior face people's Exams properly this year but a lot of parents would say otherwise. It's children that these exams it at him in all but name on essentially the new education sexiest go quite a job on her. Please to explain how things are going to get better for. A young people in scotland this year because so far teachers pinson Not particularly happy with the People's being asked to to go by their work and but the zona thing happened a prominent as well. I'm just talking earlier. Back to cool fits if i can. Ross of ross leader of the scottish conservative party. Just in the past ten confirmed the he selfies sleeping so he got close contacts by go after to test. Did the interesting thing of course is that. He was in scottish parliament this morning when he talked about that so yet to serve iceland's office. He's good to be staying in his edinburgh hotel receipt he's m. a. an ms p. in the highlands and islands and represents muddy in in my clash westminster. He's a new job. So this really illustrates the challenge that we're facing more and more places open up. People travel around and contact with a lot of people essentially. So it's definitely want to watch them across the uk on digital radio on the free times radio app and on your smart speaker. This is times radio buck to look jones in for much. This united kingdom continues would like some lighter stories from your Liz i'm going. Give you first. Because i saw in the paper this morning. This sign at kamaluddin which costs us an his pants. Tell us about as somebody he went over to. La to see the hollywood sign. We kind of sold this idea that this is what we were gonna get side tomorrow then and so i was quite up for out by saying it's gonna ask what exactly i mean we will head to retaliate just to see as india just thinking. Why would be fantastic. So the council spent one hundred sixty six thousand pounds on recreating that bad for more than and sadly tragically. It does not look at all. And i've seen both signs and the problem is when you drive past the cloth and when it's just blinking. Usa and went to be about promoting the town so tourists headed down to pembrokeshire oversee pop into cars and now they just seeing nothing. It's they're the not gonna move is even though it's not as anticipated y'all gonna make slight changes but yeah it's not really going to be the talk insurgents. Just because we can pitch reminds the hollywood sign but the kamaluddin one yes. It's kind of like more of a bronze have quite slight d-actually and almost created a wave an account. It's almost too far back off the road. In holly hollywood win on the hale and you can literally forcing yeah. Yeah and it's just when you come off onto a bypass just literally. You have no time to lactate because you're too busy like another traffic hadn't behind you. And just trying to appeal to that jugs and and the people who actually come in past there. They go at such a speed that the heading towards the roundabout they have no time to look so it just seems like such a waste of money alison pandemic. If it's taught us anything. Is that so. Many people love wild swimming and see swimming but also love talking about it and that's causing issues in northern ireland for. Why do they love to really to get my head. It's awesome isn't it. i don't get. I don't understand what yes it. S it's good that it's it. Means that people are more aware of the politics water and the water to be tested insurance. "Those bumps. he just looked at me. Like i don't know some of these people enough to practice but eventually sunny wound up in prison and he was reprinted by a catholic priest in prison. And the priest had set up a boxing tournaments. The prison and sunny did terrifically normally would knock out someone. Within a couple of minutes of the first round and the priest suggested to him that boxing could be an out with his anger and give him a profession something to do when he got out of prison and he guided him into that and through that sunny was establishing a record of knocking at one opponent after another. I mean he was unstoppable. He also intimidated. People he was amina soapy one of professional boxers whom he face many years later said one thing about sunday. He said most fighters go into a ring wanting to win the fight. Sunny goes into the ring wanting to kill you and he said it really is intimidate. He said you know it scares the jesus you. You're facing this guy in the rings to any said faced a lot of tough guys but no one ever likes sonny liston. Eventually the mob mouton's they saw an opportunity here. There was a guy who is in control of the mob. Louisville named john Tally what a large part of sunny live contract. We shared it with a gambler in las vegas name hash. Nick demain got their hooks deeper and deeper into sunny including frankie carbo and even when traffic car was in prison in early nineteen sixties. He was still issuing orders sunny list. He seemed to have a head that was made out of. It was a natural helmet because when he was a kid cops would catch him. They hit him over the head with a billy club and it seemed to hurt the billy club. More than it hurts. Sonny listed had no reaction to extraordinary now. Mohammad-ali cable log. I guess well you know his first big televised bites with floyd patterson and when the ring patterson looked like a kid next to him he was much smaller than sunny and yet the entire black community as well as john kennedy and robert kennedy wanted floyd patterson to win because they thought he was projected much better image for the black community. Yeah listen would who was a felon. We had a prison record and yet the two fights that he had with. Lloyd patterson he knocked him out in both bites in the first round in about two minutes. Those to test is knockouts in boxing history. Well then he was to have a fight with muhammad ali in florida. Muhammad ali said before the fight he told other people it was well known. He said he was also scared to death of sonny liston. He was taller than sunny. I think sunny was six one and mohammed ali was six three but even so in the gut into the ring. Muhammad ali stood up on his tiptoes so that he could look down. Sunny was trying to take place a mind games. Muhammad ali and sonny liston was able to land a couple of heavy blows against holly hollywood's very fast on his feet and he was able to date being punched and it seems to confuse sunny list. Who was applauded in the rape. He wasn't known for his speed was known for power of his punches which arrived like a cement blocks and then i think it was around the fourth or fifth round. Sunny kinetic his corner jabali who was then known. It's still been known as cassius. Clay hit him in the face a couple of times and either sunny or sonny's manager had put some limit on sundays gloves and it got into ali's is and he couldn't see so he just kept dancing around trying to avoid sunny here breath as he got close to him and soon as he would here is brett he would back away and then he would hold arm out straight on his left arm hoping that that would keep sunny list away from him and by the time he returned to his corner he said to his cornermen gotta stop the pilot can't see ornaments that we can't stop it because if we stop it this fisher only chance we get the heavyweight title and if you resigned from it right at this point you may never get a second shot his finger in the corner. Ali's left. I admit touched its own. I and it stung and it burnt so he realized they had put something into ollie's is so he kept using water to try to wash. Ollie's is and it was interesting because alli was associated with the black muslims at that time and thought that manager was trying to do something holly in his corner and they came to approach the corner is if they were going to attack the corner and then he quickly explain to them what he was doing and they backed away but after curiously plinking his eyes and having more water washed out he was finally able to see and he got in the ring and he really start going after sonny liston poet list and had done to him at the end of that round. I believe it was six brand sunday retired to his corner. He looked exhausted. He breathing heavily. Ali made a show of yawning. Just very boring to him and didn't require much effort and then sunny wouldn't come out for the next round and there are three theories out what happened. It was known that he had to recite recites in its left shoulder so he claimed the precise. It's got so bad that he couldn't lift his left arm. Ben other people's at the fight was fixed that he didn't want be knocked out so he thought it would be less embarrassing him just not to come out of his corner. Third was simply that his manager said. You know you can't fight with one arm so we're not going to go further. So he in effect lost. The fight and ali became the heavyweight championship in their contract. There was a close for a rematch but none of the big cities. None of the mayor's in the big cities wanted the rematch. That didn't want sunny listed in their town and the only place that would accommodate a count up in maine quote. Loosen once again. There was a lot of talk about who would win. The fight and in this fight listed was favored to win eight to one against ali. John tally. One of his compatriots. Come came and say that. He was going to fly up to lewiston to see the fight and john potala said. Don't bother the bikes fixed. And it'll be over. Very quickly and ash resnick. Told his gambling partners who wanted to go to the fight in lewiston he said. Don't bar the flying up their vital. Be over before you can get into your seat and a minute and forty seconds into the first round sunny listened went down in what looked like a punch that just seemed to graze his. That didn't seem to hit him at all. And but number sports writers said it looked as if the punch was so light couldn't have been more effective if he was just trying to get rid of a fly around his head and when sonny listened went down he seemed to perform going down. You fell down. You rolled over wrote over to the other side. He rolled back over. And you lay there for a minute. And ali was sent back to his corner by the referee and when he got back to his corner he said to his cornermen he said did i hit him. Hit him down and it's going. Oh you hit them. Don't worry you in arlington police hit. It's an argument amongst various writers. Some saying that the punch never landed. Or just kinda swiped by ali's others said that he really was hit and he went down however the fbi overheard recording made by geraldine. Listen sonny's wife in which she said. Sonny look since the fight is fixed. Go down in the first round so that you're not hurt. What's the point of getting hurt. If you're gonna lose the fight anyway so just go down and you collect your money and that'll be that so you know based on what the f. b. i. Assume that the fight was fixed. It probably was fixed fight. I don't think ali new sticks. He didn't have to know just had to pick sunny. And because the mark had such incredible control over sunny they really had their hooks kirk deeply into him. They could pretty much do whatever they want with him. Yeah they might have made a bunch of bets all across the united states at different places so nobody could get the pattern on it that he would go down within five rounds or four rounds or something like that so he just or that he would for sure lose right. It's supposedly the biggest gambler. Ashrams nic made a million dollars.

You should always google somebody they interested in it google that found out and now she's like oh he's here because he wants to try to try to try to take my property from me. That's not cool. I'm going to make it look like this. Property is not worth buying. I'm gonna make everything. So she like makes his water get really hot or cold. I'm not sure And i'm gonna make things just really bad for him but he's not interested in that he's interested in her so he gets a horse and buggy and they go for a nice ride and he is still very much into her. He also discovers that they cannot build on the mountain. There's some sort of ordinance or something that makes that not possible. And so he calls up. His boss is like. I don't think that this is what we should be seeking going after. His is like just sounds like a good challenge to me about any so he commits a trying to find some sort of loophole. Some sort of something. That would help her. Keep the end. "Talk live. You may join us the number if you want six zero three two eight three sixty one sixty six zero three two eight three six one six zero in the studio with you tonight. I'm ian. I am skyler bennett and aria. And we'll continue. We'll take your calls and thoughts about what you want. But let's let's change gears here because let's get into the news what's going on in dc. Not that i normally care. Because i really don't i mean the least i care the least concern. I have is for what happens in dc but sometimes it's entertaining. I care because i hope that you know. They stormed the capital. Burn it down. Oh yeah they get it right. This beyond that i i have no interest in what happens dc but given that they didn't burn it down the first time they were inside the building. Everything taking celtics cops. Surely one of you had a lighter. And that's because they didn't want to overthrow the government they just wanted to put their guy in charge and so now. According to the hill dot com authorities will be on high alert. Thursday over a cunanan conspiracy theory prediction but according to experts chances of violence appear minimal. Compared to the deadly insurrection on six at leans direction by deadly there are they referring to the woman who was shot to death by the police or they probably referring to the propaganda about certain cops who apparently killed themselves later on one woman died right and that was shot to death. Yeah yeah listen. Insurrection yes. They said that somebody got hit over the head with a fire extinguisher and died from his injuries. One of the one of the capitol police and that has been proven categorically false now. What part about. It was false. Because i did see footage of a cop. Getting hit with a fire extinguisher. Well he so i guess. He tweeted to talk to his family members and said that he was feeling tired or whatever never said anything about having any any injuries from being hit and head with fire extinguisher and then died from heart attacks so who really knows what killed him He yeah cove it or or being a fat cop or he got clinton and it took him out. Well who knows i mean he was inside the capitol and like a lot of those cops like took a took a stood down and let everybody come into the capital. I mean he was. Obviously it's weird one that see from the videos. Yeah man i don't you know i don't know what they should have done though. I mean it seems like these civilians there and they want to take over at the capitol building. The best thing you can do as a cop sleep all right well building. I don't. I don't disagree. But i think the i think there was. I think there was more to it than that with all the national guard in the fences in everything that they had set up ahead of the national guard in there for that it was after that that they brought the national anthem staged there before. no guard. Came for the inauguration corral right because what happened. What happened was the on the sixth of january. They had this quote unquote insurrection. Which was really just an unauthorized tour of you know people that just wanted to take photos and some you know chop prefer to call it a no knock raid on the fact. It was a pretty gentle. No knock radio. They didn't break shooting dog but then after that they're like oh my god we've got to do something and they bring in twenty thousand national guard troops. Now there's been talk since in the so. They did that for the the inauguration. Since then there's been talk about. The national guard won't be leaving until fall at the latest because of all the ongoing concerns about security and they still apparently have thousands of national guard troops. I don't know if they're still in the streets because they were like right. Before the inauguration they actually setups chokepoints in the streets. They'd taken to lane or four lane streets and turn it into like a one lane Thing one way directions. They made them one way streets when they weren't one way streets and it it looked crazy. Battlezone yeah Except it's not because there's no one doing any battling right right. It says the them cost playing a battle right exac- they're staging like one right but this is the thing whenever there's some sort of action. Any this thing that happened on. The sixth of january wasn't a real insurrection. If it was there would have been people. Getting shot was right. There are some feathers or who. He's my favorite right. Buildings being burned. Those things would have happened In the and they didn't but they still used it as much as they could and milked so much out of this. I mean all the fear alexandria ocasio. Cortez i'm in fear for her life. She was in a completely different buildings crews tried to have a murdered wasn't like a security guard looking for her as she was like hiding in the bathroom or something she's like my name was right. Security guard like china. I pretty much says she wasn't even on the premises. She was in a different building early even so if i was her. And you know trump supporters did raid the capitol building. I would have been a little fearful too. Yeah because they don't care much for her. This is true so anyway. They milked everything they could out of this. And that's what they're using as their excuse to keep troops in the streets in dc so basically have a martial law Situation there some segments. According to the hill dot com of convoluted theories community have been claiming for months that former president trump will return to the white house on march fourth. Which was the date of presidential inaugurations up until nineteen thirty three. So the theory is and and i only know this because i saw vincent talking about it on on his show a few weeks back but they keep you know of course. They pushed back the date. It was originally going to be. That trump was going to take off on inauguration. Day that he was going to be the one who is truly inaugurated in that would be the beginning of a truly constitutional federal government. That's the that's the narrative around this and so then they pushed the date back to march fourth. And saying no no. It's going to be in a few weeks. And then the truly constitutional government will be in place. I'm just stunned. Anyone believes this crazy christian guy who keeps coming up with new dates for the apocalypse read the mayan calendar. I feel like that. It's like the mayan calendar thing and it's the same thing where where when you have a colt and there's some cult leader who makes a prediction and the cult leaders. Prediction doesn't come true. They always have some excuse. Excuse trot out the excuse and they see the float this thing out there and they see if their you know their followers will buy it. But of course that's why their followers in the first place. I mean if they were capable of critically thinking by none of this makes any sense at all. What do you think they're eating babies satanic rituals that so hollywood you idiots. It's holly hollywood for ugly people that's women. Government is believed that thursday would mark the triumphant return of cunanan's figurehead had been building. Some influential figures in the community have recently turned back on that prediction. Influencers backing down from the quote. Real inauguration theory is especially important since they've gained more sway in the community after the shadowy q. figure stopped posting on image boards in december brian. Fred burke senior researcher at harvard shorting center told the hill that some cunanan adherents are now skeptical as to the origins or the validity of the theory quote. Some believed that any public gathering on the fourth to be a trap set for maga- folk.

"Delivery by 31 21 piece is the best of Ray Appleton. On K. M. J. Ray Appleton calling Governor Newsome to the carpet on a daily basis. It's gonna happen whether you like it or not, Ray Appleton is on Newstalk 5 81 Oh 59. Hey, M J like it or not. We're gonna be talking about that man a little bit later with handguns more who is the campaign manager for recall Newsome. Um okay. Getting back to this situation with Gina Khurana, who is the star of the man DeLorean, the female star of the man DeLorean in a role that is gained a ton of popularity. She has been fired from the series. Or saying allegedly something's that Lucas films didn't like and Disney like Very recent statement being a Republican today. Is like being Jewish. During the Holocaust. Being a Republican today is like being Jewish during the Holocaust. She's also made other statements sort of mocking, wearing masks during the pandemic, as many of you have And also made statements about how she felt there was some illegal activity during the last presidential election. And this is what got her fired And according to an insider at Lucas films and kind of a whistleblower and no known identity this person is saying they've been trying to get rid of her for two months. So were those statements inflammatory enough to get her genuinely fired? Or does it sound like we'll never know? Does it sound like she's being fired? Strictly Because she is a Republican. She's conservative. She has her feelings. You tell me All right, You tell me. Um Michael, Who's next? I lost my order. Shame on me. Okay. Michael. Michael goes to Michael. Michael. You're on Km J. Hi. Good morning. How are you? How are you doing? Well, Hey, Your Your last caller read the rest of the statement that was attributed to Gina. And I think it makes a lot of sense. We need to start As conservatives and people thinking differently. We have political leaders. Asking others to turn on their neighbors. You've gotten present? No, Nelson Esparza. Putting forward a snitch line for those who aren't falling covert guidelines. We've got You've got members of Congress wanting to have other members of Congress and Senate expelled for their views. We were having Twitter shut down free speech. We're having modes of Communications shut down by big attack if they'll do it to them. What do people think they won't do it to us? They won't ruin our livelihood. Just because we're conservatives, and the statement is just I think it's it's a bold statement to get everybody to think it starts it incrementally. You don't just come out and say, Hey, we're gonna We're gonna come to your house and execute you on your doorstep. It starts incrementally, and it's it has already started. We always conservatives or anybody who's not a part of whatever the in group is part of the oligarchy or whatever have to wake up. Really be aware of what's happening around us. And share and speak to each other. Well, I gotta tell you, I mean, I agree with you on this idea of a local snitch line has offered up by one of the newest members of the City Council is so patently offensive in my hometown. I mean, are you kidding me? Are you really kidding me? Ah, and hopefully that doesn't fly. But that just shows you The mentality that's out there now, and it's very scary. I mean, a year two years ago, this crap would have never happened. You'd be able to say these things. People would understand it. They disagree with you. They move on. But now they're looking at taking your own words and as mine work and weaponizing them and doing damage to your career, your life, whatever, Andre, they get great joy from that. And that's when you know America ceases to become America and we're becoming this, You know, Third world, you know, crackpot nation full of individuals that just really can't stand to see their own shadow. They're so afraid of things. They have to make it up as they go along, and they've been doing a damn fine job. A really fine job, Michael. Thank you, Lee. You're next on K. M. J. I Hi, Ray. I'm glad you're back and advise your well, Thank you. I'm listened to all of the comments, and it is a question about the First Amendment. About liberties and freedom. In freedom of speech. So they just voted that this impeachment was constitutional. There were six members of the Republican Party who voted for this six members. Where Where they thought that by doing this They're helping abolish state constitution. No freedom of speech. I understand what she does Good. And I agree with you totally. Unless you wanna be brought to a concentration path camp to be d program. According to what the Communist Party in the United States wants. Have to get the mouth shit. I'm so glad you brought up that de programmed word because that fits right into this whole thing and who is saying that certainly not us that's coming from the other side. De programmed is something that is used by a lot of very nefarious dictators regimes throughout history, But yet nobody in the mainstream media or none of the old guard. The Democrats are saying, Hey, cut that out. That's wrong as well. They should be, and I'm sure you agree with that. It's wrong. Yes, And the problem is Heard getting fired. It's sending a message to anybody else who wants to have freedom of speech does express their opinions that you will no longer be able to do that? I hear you. I hear you. Thank you. Thank you very much. Um Anthony. You're on Cam Jack. Hey, um, you know, I moved from California four years ago. Just a zoo. Just as one of these reasons. I'm a truck driver and I drive all of the United States. I see all walks of life in this country. And, uh, the one thing that we all have a common is a voice and We're getting to a point. You know that capital riot was just a small little prick. Just one little pin nail, um as two compared to what's gonna get but cap and you know if this doesn't stop You know, Um you know, a Democrat Republican. It doesn't matter who you are. It needs to stop because I tell you right now, um, we lose our first Amendment. We have civil war. And, uh, you know, there's a lot of people in this country and I think a civil war you know is coming. I just You know, you gotta stop silencing people and taking their their livelihood away. Just because they have an opinion. That's why we have to impeachment trial right now, because Trump had an opinion. I hear you Where you living now? Since you left California, May I ask I'm in a while. I called you a few times. But in a while, um I'd watch I drive all over the United States. You know, I drive truck. All right. Thank you, sir. Stay safe. Um I When I hear people talking about a civil war they feel in civil war is coming. Just shut her. I mean, I do not want that. It's just no way we've got to grab ahold of ourselves before that kind of crap starts happening half too. Uh, And I think most of us who believe that are in the majority. And it just It's just terrible talk, but but he's right. You know, I'm not denying that. Could very well get very ugly very soon. Jim, you're on Km J. Hi. Good morning. I have a little different slant on it. We keep hearing they they fired Gina Day fire. Gina. We need to put names behind the people who do these things. Put them out on social media. Find out everything they down there. Personal life, So we embarrass the hell out of them. So they will do these stupid things right now. They sit behind a desk and they they make these decisions goes out in the media. That person they name they get destroyed. There are anonymous. We need to find out who fired her. The name of the person who did. It was only a couple of people could have done it and then put their name and social media and all the craft they've done in their life and just keep it up until we beat him Silly. Grand idea. I think that's the solution. Thank you. Who did this? Because so often when I do these stories like this, it's always a day. It's a day. It's a they you follow me. And we need to know who specifically Who dropped the bomb and then go after that person and see what kind of, you know, Moralistic path. They've tried all their lives. All right. "In early november. We adopted a a rescue a dog a rescue dog and that obviously has its expenses whether it be veterinarian bills Getting the dog to begin with all the stuff that comes with with being a pet owner and then christmas came and basically at one point post christmas. I looked at my checking account. And i was like all i did these and actually prior to that in october we had some work done at where i live so paying people for that And i was like. I looked at my my my account and i was like this is the complete opposite of what you know you would figure would be happening. During the pandemic you would be saving. Your money is of these last three months. All we did was spend money whether it be on Construction dog or just christmas. He we are and i just had that same coming to To jesus recently as well where. I'm like man i gotta like. I dunno built my savings here a little bit more Not to do our financial podcast. Which is still real to us money. Show that we're doing You can download it nowhere But yeah no man. I just was was doing that myself. And i guess. I i know tight all back in arrests and i. I know how your family is mine completely different when it comes to anything professional wrestling but do you throw royal rumble and wrestlemainia season into that holiday schedule Rumble is lumped in because the birthdays around. Wrestlemainia is kind of its own. Abstract event like it's not really around any other holidays. I mean it's kind of eastern. I guess at times but burrow is this is. It's kind of like an island unto itself because at that point you know you're you're kind of back swing the post holiday swing of things. You're kind of getting ready for summer. Schools you're getting into the last nine weeks of school so you try to make sure the kids are doing right but if of like that oasis in the middle of getting things back to normalcy but you know then you got to kind of figure out like well a die hard fan of my going this year. Am i not going to go. I mean pandemic aside typical Like it's in tampa tampa. You know you have family down there. So the maybe take a trip me is like an eight hour drive. Maybe if there's you know its own special events unto itself everything else does kind of get lumped around holiday seasons in a way you know. It's funny that you You say that. Because i had the same line of thought when it came to wrestlemainia For years i mean there's like it's a lot different here in the northeast. Dr trade down in the south of the united states It's brutal here by. I just was outside prior to recording. And i it's probably like in the twenties and it's supposed to get down in the teens tonight. I'm sure we're dr trae is it's like fifty. People are wearing hart jackets and like heavy. Heavy hats. right now What is it there right now. Dr troy he's about forty two cold. I mean it's i actually got yelled at yesterday more yesterday. More work working was thirty. Five and i just had on a long sleeve t shirt in in in my my khakis and the guys are like everybody else is like you said literally guys car hard. Cammo jackets beanies everything else. They're like you are calling. Never no when you spend as much time in the north as i have. Your body doesn't just so for me thirty five. Is you know sleeve t-shirt weather. And if it was forty here. I wouldn't be as bundled up would be. It would feel warm but Yeah wrestlemainia is like that rule of thumb. I also lined up with baseball opening day. That is when It's it's starting to turn the corner and getting into better weather better times Period of time. April may june july august that i really enjoy Just because of the weather and and all the things that go on during that and obviously with last year's pandemic we. We lost a lot of that. I'm looking at the counter now. January twenty first. We are about four five six weeks away from literally a full year of the pandemic. And i always encourage everybody They're still up at the website. The bauer show dot com to listen back to those those episodes in the beginning. And you could just tell there was just flat out depression on the show and it wasn't just because the super showdown it was just the realization the wrestlemainia that we know and love was going to be very unique trying to make the best of it w we certainly did in the performance center And then after the fact we were clamoring that hey a year later Hopefully tampa gets a another crack thing and has dr troy just mentioned they will as de be announced on not only the thirty seven but thirty eight and thirty nine dates and locations so wrestlemania thirty seven this year. we'll be back in tampa bay It'll be On saturday april. Tenth and sunday april eleventh at raymond. James stadium They're hoping have about twenty five thousand fans each one of those nights interested in doing tonight deal again just me thinking that. Maybe this is their way of trying to Make up for some money being tonight. Event having twenty five thousand each night this is their way of of of Recouping and he lost funds arlington dallas. At and t. stadium will get wrestlemania. Thirty eight it got wrestlemainia. Thirty two a couple years back. That'll be on april third. Two thousand and twenty two and then this year's wrestlemainia wrestlemania thirty seven was supposed to be at sofi stadium in los angeles inglewood wrestlemainia going. Holly hollywood that'll now be wrestlemainia. Thirty nine two years from now Sunday april second. Two thousand twenty. Three at sofi stadium in hollywood park Big announcer their doctors right. Usually the resume dates and locations all in like this way that it was delivered. We've never seen before. Maybe this is w ease way of thinking that the pandemic a year from now may still be a little weird. It may not be packed stadium. God i hope it is but interesting. Bold move. I dug it. We're thirty seven thirty. Eight thirty nine locations are we know the dates Your thoughts on the story. Yeah i thought it was was really cool. Wbz to kind of go back to tampa Considering everything that happened last year and not just for them not just that it's also regional write their all the time in tampa anyway. I mean they've been running out of the That the raiders stadium trump of the tropicana for awhile. Anyway so it makes sense all your all your production stuff there it it. It lowers cost. 'cause you're not transporting stuff you know across the country everything else The two things like you said just a way for them to get fifty thousand people who had wrestlemainia so they can try to recoup some of their losses dick dallara. I thought they might go back to los angeles right but like you say kind of shows there. You're kinda place their hand a little bit that. Hey maybe everything won't be a hundred percent great but texas is has or a little more open than what california is in california Ten to air on the side of over caution as opposed to maybe texas. So hey let's go back to dallas with your thirty eight in dallas. And then by thirty nine two years out that everything should be back to somewhat sense of normalcy. And then we can get back into s-o-f-i can so people stadium And i'm excited about dallas. Because i was actually in dallas the week before wrestlemania thirty two so i saw everything kind of getting set up and everything. So it's a it's a great venue as well. Jerry's world pretty awesome and like i always joke around if you're bored. There's a walmart right across.
