"Have a book that i admire. I that that's not even close this. This is a really really intriguing project. It's called the prime book and if you're listening gang the prime book or is is the place to go. Tell me about this project. Tell me how it started telling me. What his vision is let me see. I had seen. I think it was patrick. Democracia done a picture of all the top models who are already a little older top models of the eighties and earlier and he had done it for vogue. I believe and they were without makeup without any clothes. Actually their bodies were kind of mixed together in an interesting composition. And i was intrigued by that. Not the nudity per se but that there was no makeup no enhancement that these were older women and i came up with the idea to photographs. Women who i knew. I had grown up with two older sisters. I raised two daughters so besides the natural affinity a man would have for a woman i had. I don't even want to say understanding of women. Because i'm gonna ask catch it catch holly held but i know what not to say i guess but certainly most of my friend will women treed certainly by conversations with friends of mine and i started out just like that with people. I knew women. I knew in new york city. I decided make it that no makeup. No semblance of close kind of from the show on up not jewelry. Yup and the women would submit essays on life that would go along with photographs. And at some point i decided for it to be black and white also stripping the color away so that really became more the landscape of the face and the essays. And it just kind of snowballed.

"We get to the big story, I also have to say that I've been having problems with my other computer that we use over here. We delightfully call, etcetera. So it has no I can't. It doesn't work. So anyway, I can't see anything. Heads up so I can't give you air horn love, Holly. Hold on way need to find the airport. I'm not doing anything. Thank you know how to work it. She knows how to work it. Here's what I'm gonna do is you're worth I'm gonna come over to Bradley studio. I'm gonna look at his ETA. It's the keyboard. Bradley get yours that already for Holly to take a peek at it, and We will go forward with our show, which includes This conversation. With the love triangle. Is it a love triangle of Tristan? Sydney and Chlo. A. Actually I don't It's drama and there's drama in Kardashians Ville, and that drama revolves specifically around the beloved of one Khloe Kardashian and his name is Tristan Thompson, Tristin Thompson, previously known as The man who cheated on Khloe Kardashian, but she kept him and threw her bastard to the curb. As a result, sisters bestie Yes. Her sister. Oh, that's right. Yeah, her sister's best see to the curb because we know that in Kardashians Ville, all women. Eventually will run afoul of a Kardashian Jenner and then we'll lose their place anyway. That's how it works. Okay, True. So we had these allegations last week. I think it was towards the end of the week before, actually. We learned that Um Her name is Sydney Sydney Chase. I keep wanting to say chase something, but it's Sydney Chase. Sydney Chase. Alleged that she had an affair with Tristan Thompson recently last year recently, Yeah, recently enough that he was with Chloe and, um Everybody was like, because she was very explicit. I mean, she talked about his stuff, if you know what I'm done. His wiener. Okay. Wow. We just got real Pacific. All she said Peekaboo Wiener. That's she talked about it on a podcast and then doubled down on tic tac. Well, you guys, she's tripling down just at the moment. That Tristin himself has come forth through an attorney and said, Cease and desist. You lie on. So this is of interest because so far Neither Tristan nor Chlo, eh? Have talked about this. Yeah, they have been Silent, silent mom. But now these broken their silence. Yes, well, Tristin has broken his silence and technically through a lawyer, so not really even him, But We'll get to that in a moment. I just want to say we speculated yesterday. Postulated speculated Thought about the fact talked about that. You know, the Kardashians are not going to comment on this because they didn't bring this story up. This is not an approved Kardashian. Storyline or narrative that's allowed at this moment because everybody's focused on Kim divorcing Kanye on the last season of keeping up with the Kardashians, so they ain't got time for this. This this upstart model who wants to throw a wrench in things. So, Trista, But oh, I just was going to say again. Also to that you also have to keep in mind the space time continuum of the Kardashians, which does not allow for surprise. Peekaboo moments or wieners. You can't have peekaboo wieners when you're not When they're not on the docket. It's true because they can't be nimble in real time. They have to focus on the space time continuum. That means that Kim is having marital issues on the show, even though it's already have if it's a Kardashian Jenner story you can only rocket When it's on the docket. Okay. Self amused. Peekaboo Weiner is the Sports almanac their space time continuum. So true, Thank you Gonna be a colder winter than usual. Mm hmm. Like an almanac. Anyway, prison tell you stuck in Sports Almanac. You're talking farmers and I was talking back to the future Tristin Thompson. Tristin Thompson. Yep. Yeah, because, remember, he goes back in time or goes forward in time with the whole minute. Okay, Tristin Thompson has hired a legal eagle and you know this guy. His name is Marty. Singer Marty Singer has provided multiple Smackdowns from all sorts of Nefarious characters in Hollywood, and they're all escaping me at the moment, but Marty singer he was definitely involved with John Travolta. Yeah. And has one of those people that like when you have stories publicly about you that you need to, uh, swat away, you hire Marty Singer. And that's exactly what has happened. So Through his attorney. He is now shooting down these allegations in a letter that was somehow obtained by TMZ. You guys put a pin in that okay. Delivered directly to them. Go on, Take the pin out. That's it. Sorry. No, no, thank you. In the letter obtained by TMZ. Singer calls chases allegations that Sydney chased the model who says she slept with Tristan quote? Malicious, defamatory fabrications. Mr. Thompson have no relationship with you whatsoever, and he never sent you any such texts will get to those texts in a moment. Singer goes on to accuse her of making up quotes from Tristen having no proof of her peekaboo wiener experience and blasts her by saying, As teams, says, quote, it is obvious. That you are a liar. And they say that if she doesn't stop defaming Tristin Thompson in the media, you do so at your peril, and you may find yourself in court attempting to defend your indefensible conduct. Now. She says to that. That chance, Grandpa. I got receipts. So what's interesting about that is like when Marty singer If Marty Singer sent me a letter and told me to shut up, I would shut it right. I'd be like, okay. I am, unless Had receipt. Thank you. So yesterday. Then, after that story came out teams. He did a few updates. And again, you, you listeners, Dear listeners, you can read through the lines. Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Tristan and his team are also suspicious of Chase's motives because she's reportedly been shopping a reality TV deal. Oh, so now they're on high alert because of black China. Don't Downtown Black China Syndrome. Yeah. Black China syndrome. Do you wanna explain to listeners with that is well black China beat the Kardashians at their own game, or at least, is proving to be a formidable compote opponent. Component Companion opponent opponent because black China Married Rob Kardashian have a baby with Rob Kardashian had a reality show with Rob Kardashian and then broke up with Rob Kardashian. And then the show got canceled and she is suing Kardashians for damages. So she, you know, she played them at their own game. Essentially, that's what I would I would say Black China syndrome. If it's anything, it's Let this woman show you how to play them at their own game, and they're realizing that other people like are on to them and their shady, You know, shady behaviors..

Wake Lemme quickly interject. I'm not Scottish. So what is the Scottish week. According to my research and I'll put some links in the show notes. A Scottish week is where a body is laid out in their someone who stays with them for twenty four hours a day. The week may last day day or seven. Some say that the person who's staying with them is to help prevent evil from coming to get them from taking them away during the week. There's a lot of food and a lot of whiskey and people dance at the end. Sounds like a sad fun so Scottish way is alcohol. There's alcohol well. I don't know where did traditional Scottish wages. But I know Ferguson. Scottish wake of what my brother put together but basically all of us have some kind of garment that Ed is our family time. "Holly New Jersey has only a few miles from my house. And it's the town where I attend the American Revolution Roundtable meetings each month. Mount Holly holds an annual event each December commemorating the battle. But beyond that. I don't think this battle gets a whole lot of notice whether planned lender not this battle altered the Heche defenses thus making Washington's attack on Trenton. A few days later possible. Imagine what would have happened. If if two or three thousand Hessian reinforcements showed up at Trenton during the battle or even immediately afterward when the continentals were struggling to get back across the river into Pennsylvania the battle of Ironworks Hill in Mount Holly ensured that that did not happen in the end. The battle was a minor skirmish with relatively typically few casualties and of course would be overshadowed by the major events over the next couple of weeks that it had played a role in starting so so. There's no book that focuses on the Battle of Mount Holly even the books that focus on Washington's crossing and the next few battles pretty much ignore Moore Mt Holly or just give it a minor mention. That's the case even know this small event made those other bigger events possible. Now there are a bunch your book that I want to recommend you over the next few weeks that involve these really crucial events of the war but none of them really does justice to the battle of Ironworks Hill. Oh so this week. I'm going to pine and recommend a book. That has nothing to do with anything. I've been talking about this week. There's a new book that is slated for for release next month called a crisis of piece by David Head. The book is an up close. Look at the very end of the American revolution. More than a year after Yorktown and a few months before the Treaty of Paris the Continental Army was city in Newburgh New York keeping an eye on the British occupation. The patient that was still holding New York City. The British had ended all offensive operations after Yorktown so the army was getting pretty bored. Even worse the American people thought the threat had passed and that they could go about living their lives. They just didn't want to pay taxes to pay off the war for debt. Because well you know how Americans feel about taxes. As a result the continental army which still had to remain in the field until the British left were woefully behind back pay and often not receiving adequate food and clothing. The soldiers suffered terribly well. The civilian world simply went about their business of even greater concern than the conditions was the fear that Congress would not keep its promises to the soldiers about. Pensions wins and land. Congress had made a great many promises at desperate points during the war in order to keep the men in the field. Now that it was coming close goes to the time for the army to disperse and go home. There was still no action to fulfil any of these promises. The NEWBURGH conspiracy consisted of officers officers and men who are going to demand that Congress keep its promises even if that meant marching to Philadelphia with their muskets and forcing Congress to act for me. There are two particularly great moments in Washington's life one is the celebrated crossing the Delaware River. Which I'm going to talk about next week? The other is his performance in Newburgh Washington effectively convinced his army to stand down and respect civilian leadership of Congress no matter what his actions at Newburgh helped establish the American tradition of civilian leadership over the military that that has lasted to this day. It's often something. We take for granted today but history could have gone in a very different direction and we have George Washington to thanks for the fact that it did not. The book focuses on the events looking at the men and moments that diffused this explosive. Situation and transitioned transitioned the United States into the postwar. Peace the author. Dr Price is a professor at the University of Central Florida. Ease written a few view other books on history of piracy and private hearing his look in this new book about the newburgh conspiracy doesn't really seem to cover any new ground. But it is a good solid in-depth look at these important events if you're interested crisis of peace releases on December third twenty nineteen. You can preorder today if you WanNa get it before Christmas. My online recommendation. This week is a website. Revolutionary War Dot us. Yes they have a good page summarizing the battle at Ironworks Hill but the site has a lot of great information about the entire.
