Kimberly clark now. Back to the story on. July thirtieth nineteen seventy-five jimmy hoffa was seen for the last time outside of a restaurant in suburban detroit after his disappearance rumors swirled about how exactly the controversial labour leader met his end. It's worth mentioning upfront. That some people don't think he met his end at all. Some have suggested that hoffa was not killed but instead fled to mexico where he spent the rest of his days quietly in hiding this theory however has few facts to back it up and knowing hoffa's personality makes it seem a little ridiculous. Jimmy hoffa was incredibly ambitious and meticulously plotted his return to the teamsters presidency. The idea that he would give that plan up and flee doesn't track with the bold and occasionally reckless figure. He was in life seven years after his disappearance. though no body was ever recovered. Hoffa was declared legally dead. It's safe to assume this was the correct call but if hoffa was killed there's no shortage of potential suspects. The most common and likely theory is that hoffa was whacked by the mafia. Some underworld figures clearly sought to squash his return to power. It was the reason hoffa was at the restaurant. In the first place of you. Specific names have been associated with the dirty deed prolific hitman richard. The iceman kuklinski confess to the murder to his biographer. He claimed he killed hoffa then drove to a trash compactor where the body was crushed with the car. He used for the transport this fits with the ice man's modus operandi. But there's no actual evidence. He was responsible besides a casual confession. The fbi believed that. The killer was frank. Sheeran also known. As the irishman sheeran hoffa were acquaintances. And it's believed sheeran was used to lure the man to his death. This theory is especially popular lately due to its dramatization in martin. Scorsese's film the irishman but this version of events also involved chunky. O'brien hoffa's foster son. O'brien has adamantly denied any knowledge or involvement former. Us assistant attorney general and o'brien's own stepson. Jack goldsmith published a book in two thousand nineteen there. They alleged the fbi's theories about hoffa were all part of an unrelated campaign against organized crime figuring out who pulled. The trigger is only one part of mystery. Hoffa's body was never found leading to a rash of bizarre theories about how the mafia might have disposed of his corpse. The most prevalent is that hoffa's remains were cremated or incinerated but other theories state hoffa was chopped up and buried in the end zone of the new york giants football stadium still others believe the corpses in the concrete foundation of detroit's renaissance center every few years a new theory crops up about where hoffa's body could be found in may of twenty twenty one fox news reported a story sharing new evidence of yet another theory. According to a former mob defense attorney hoffa's body was brought all the way to savannah georgia and buried in a golf course. One final conspiracy claims that hoffa's body was never found by authorities because they didn't want to find it. The theory alleges that hoffa's murder was a hit by the feds themselves. According to hoffa's one time union. Associate joe franco federal marshalls picked him up at the restaurant to take him out. It's unlikely we'll ever know exactly. What happened to jimmy hoffa due to his infamy and the mafia connection the case will likely remain in the public zeitgeist for years to come but hoffa story has reverberations. Outside of the man himself it affected the movement. He championed as well. Union organization has faced constant and challenging attacks from those seeking to suppress the power of collective bargaining. Jimmy hoffa's life and death served as useful tools in those attacks. The teamsters still exist today and remain a powerful union however the former mafia connections and mysterious disappearance of their one time president is used as a cautionary tale against organized labor. There's no single organizer more famous than jimmy hoffa and he was unquestionably corrupt. In many ways the fun of the unsolved mystery has cast a shadow. Both intentionally and not on pro labor activists. Hopefully one day the mystery surrounding hoffa's death can be truly laid to rest. Thanks for listening today in true crime. I'm vanessa richardson. Welcome to today in true crime a spotify original from podcast due to the graphic nature of these crimes listener discretion is advised. This episode includes discussions of murder that some people may find offensive. We buys extreme caution for children under thirteen. Today we're covering the disappearance of controversial labor union leader jimmy hoffa and the most common theories about what happened to him. Now let's go back to july. Thirtieth nineteen seventy five at the max red fox restaurant just outside of detroit. Jimmy hoffa took a cold sip of water and checked his watch. It was nearly two fifteen pm. His associates were late. He was supposed to be meeting with a long longtime collaborator. Tony jack jack aloni and a man. He hoped would be a welcome addition to his team. Tony pro provenzano. Their tardiness put hoffa in a delicate spot. The sixty two year old hated to have his valuable time wasted but both his guests had deep connections to the criminal underworld he decided to. Just let the matter drop and called his wife josephine to let her know he'd be home early. He offered to grill up some steaks for dinner. That was the last time anyone saw or spoke to jimmy hoffa considering he was supposed to meet the mafia josephine became worried when night fell and her husband didn't return. She contacted the police who found his car. Still in the restaurant parking lot the next morning hoffa was officially declared missing to this day. That's all we know for sure. Jimmy hoffa had spent the previous four years trying to rebuild his life since his released from prison. He was convicted of jury. Tampering fraud and attempted bribery. The charges stemmed from hoffa's tenure as president of the teamsters union. He had a simple philosophy. It didn't matter who he needed to work with. He was going to deliver for his members. In the fifties and sixties that meant allying himself with the mafia he was in many ways the best and worst of labor organizing incredibly passionate and effective while also crooked and willing to make underhanded deals to some these qualities made him a hero. He successfully increased pay and improved conditions for truckers and other drivers the union represented but for up and coming attorney robert kennedy. He was a menace organized. Crime was kennedy's prosecutorial white whale. He spent years. As attorney. general. Specifically targeting hoffa kennedy used controversial wiretapping to spy on him his wife and their criminal friends but even after entering federal prison hoffa's influence was unshaken. He remained president of the teamsters for his entire sentence. He only gave up the position to get out early. Part of a deal. He struck with president. Richard nixon in nineteen seventy one. The minute hoffa made the bargain. He stepped down as the teamsters president and got to work running the group from the shadows. He pulled the strings while simultaneously engineering. Another official run for the position in the years to come unfortunately for hoffa not. Everyone was excited about his return because he had garnered so much power and influence on his own. It was harder for the mafia to work with him. Many in the criminal underworld preferred other potential teamster leaders because they were easier to control but hoffa was determined by the end of july nineteen. Seventy five the sixty two year old thought. He was in a good spot. That was what the meeting at the max. Red fox restaurant was all about recruiting allies. Then all of a sudden one of the most famous men in the country vanished. But though there's little hard evidence to speak of there's no shortage of speculation about what happened to hoffa that day coming up the best worst and weirdest theories about what happened to jimmy. Hoffa imagine living with a secret so big that if anyone ever found out it would change everything. Imagine carrying that secret with you every day. Desperate to one day. Get it off your chest. Do you think you could take a secret like that to the crave. I'ma stephania haeggman host of the new park series. "And certainly was a protected witness at that time it was testified against stay stefan or whomever else he was dealing with in chicago and the deal was that i had to. I never i didn't meet cremony in person in the my instructions were kinder- who did all this was that i had to go to a certain. It was a building on seventeenth street and it was a payphone on the side of the building. They are right at the entrance. And i was instructed to go there and to wait for a call so i knew they were watching me from someplace and so Phone rang i answered it. And i had my interview with with chuck ramadi. Who told me as you said it. His book and in children's book he said that hoffa was involved. The mafia posse kill castro. He said that the same people who had killed hoffa were also behind the murders of khanna a month earlier and johnny a year later. He told me that hoffa had been crushed and smell it. He said that after the murder he had been taken someplace where he was crushed and smelted so and promoting. I didn't sas that. He had i in knowledge of this. And i couldn't imagine where we was talking to but the the the information has always put the hook and me for four forty six years ago that i have kept. That's kept me in this cancer. Forty six years is the fact that i believe that if you saw the violence and teamsters local two ninety nine and who was behind it you will them. Solve office appears There were these acts of violence going on against office. Supporters local. george roxborough. John centrum were a whole slew atop quilt. There were a whole bunch of these guys who were supporting hof and there were violent acts against him and one of my contract one of my earliest contributions so the hoffa case was discover who was behind. Those acts of violence in guy's name was rolling mcmaster and when i worked after hoffa disappeared. I did a brief stick with the wall street journal and again i'm a kid. I'm twenty five years old. But i got eight months of experience of a often the teamsters and then i went with nbc news and it was my first job with nbc right. After it was announced hoffa disappeared. When i received this information about rolling. Mcmaster this squad that he had that was running around shaky trucking companies but that they were also behind the violence and hoffa's local before he disappeared. Nbc didn't want to spend the whole lot of money on this and they thought it was a little farfetched because people thought it was a little mop more bobby than that than it was relevant mcmaster. Who was a teamster tough. He was not a he was behind off from the very beginning. And then they had a huge fall out after hoffa went to jail in nineteen sixty seven mcmaster wanted a local to ninety nine hoffa's local and coffered resisted. He didn't wanna give mcmaster the job and that caused a huge falling out between the two of them were they became mortal enemies and then it was and then when hoffa was released from prison in nineteen seventy-one via the commutation from nixon and he was trying to regain his job as president. The teamsters union. It was mcmaster. Who was doing these acts of violence against his top supporters. Trying to interrupt his plans to regain the teamster presidency because they wanted france simmons office handpicked successor with whom he also had a fall out after he went to jail. They wanted to keep him in so On the day. After i left him. I put together a fifty page theory as to what happened the hoffy. Yet saying that if you if you know who who was behind the violence and the office local which which went right up to twenty days before office appeared on july tenth nineteen seventy five hop in the spirit twenty days. Later july thirtieth. Then you can figure out who saw the box you off solve. The murder and i had been told that role mcmaster was evolved at the disposal of off his body. So i turned my a fifteen page theory to the fbi. After i lot effort to be and i was contacted by a couple of fbi guys came and visited me in ohio. And and i told him about the mcmaster. Goon squad about the information. I had about this about this The the news pilot violent acts against pro hoffa supporters and local to ninety nine. And and so the fbi guys encouraged me to come back to detroit. Which is where i was doing. My wall street journal thing. Which was where i was doing my Nbc thing and so i did. I went back. I was introduced to jimmy hoffa junior and and i walked up at the detroit. Free press doing a story about the goon squads. That's where i was with a grand jury investigation. I was disappointed when it was the the bruins and they were said over the four the floor killers of jimmy hoffa alleged killer off are going to be at the grand jury tomorrow and and so i was disappointed. That mcmaster was one of them. And then my my editor came to be during the grand jury hearing and he said the. There's a mystery fifth guy there and he had a big smile on his face and i just took off out of the news randolph steps with over the federal courthouse and there was rolling mcmaster at all so a couple of days later. Fbi guy offered to take me to lunch so we went to greasy spoon in downtown detroit. And yes. if i had some time he wanted to give me a ride. You wanna show me some of the sites. So i said of course and so we went around and he told me that womack mcmasters alibi. For the day off disappeared was that he was with his brother in law and his brother-in-law stand bar was the head of gateway transportation. This was the same greenway transportation. Trucking company that route ricardo said during what he flipped and became a federal witness for the fbi office by half a virgin detroit placed into a fifty five gallon drum loaded onto a gateway transportation truck and shipped in new jersey. So that's what's put the hook and me for forty six years as he mcmaster gateway connection was stamp arm so in two thousand six mehra was an fbi. And i i followed all of these things over the past forty six years at all of them. Have begrudges the time was right. Some power the cast of characters was running and to me the fbi. The hander the ball of this whole thing and this was justified with the done. Despite the grief they take his. There are legitimate reasons. Why do these things. And i think that ultimately.

"Low. You worked average out there. I have a special treat. You know we've been talking about chuck kamaluddin. I got hold of a guy named dan modise. Who is an expert on the hoffa disappearance and he had interviewed check commodity about that and what he knew about that. Now he has an interesting theory that Kamala gave him partly true and partly isn't true more than likely like a lot of these guys and they tell you a story if it's too good to be true it probably is but i think there's some truth to what our friend Charles chuckie criminality told them all dear. You may have heard of mainly what you're gonna hear is a story about who killed jimmy hoffa and we're his body is so i know. There's a huge controversy but you just sit back and listen to dan moldy tell his story about where jimmy hoffa's body is currently and how chucky baldi from chicago got his two cents worth in this. My interest is in the hoffa case. It that's how i came to Chucker bobby i i had been rain. We're call the hoffa awards beginning in nineteen seventy four when i started investigating the teamsters union and then about eight months into my education hoffa disappeared in july. Nineteen seventy five. I was five years old at the grad student at kent state in ohio and so with hoffa disappeared. I hit the ground running. So i spent four years investigating office appearance at reading my book. The hoffa awards which came by nineteen seventy eight. In my opinion the key moment and the hoffa case came in december of nineteen seventy five when there was a grand jury in detroit and the focus of the grand jury was on the statements. Guy named ralph ricarda ralph accardo had received information that that hoffa had emerged in detroit that and that the conspirators were the dreaded brothers and the giulio brother salad. Gabriel julio steve and thomas data and that hoffa's body had been stuffed into a fifty five gallon drum loaded onto a gateway transportation truck and ship to jurist and where they asked him to speculate as to who killed hoffa and the reason why new. This is one of the co-conspirators Ski madrid had come in visited him in prison and gave him some of these details about the case so when they said to him in all of these guys were associates of tony province who was st labor racketeer from union city. New jersey. local five sixty. He was one of the three people hoffa was supposed to meet on day he disappeared. It was twenty provenzano. Tony jack alani who was related to provenzano through marriage and a liberec at your name lenny shorts. When they said to him who did he hook andretti kilhof. He said he he did it. Tell me but i know from being around the provenzano people that that the person who had the contract to kill off was salva grill and so they said did he say when they took him on a gateway truck back to new jersey. Did they say where they took and he said no. But i know you know from being around the provenzano people and be tony's driver for a period of time that when we murdered somebody they would wind up. In brother-in-law scotto stop which was a landfill in jersey city new jersey under the pulaski skyway bridge. It connects jersey city. New york newark. So i believe that. That was the firewall of the hoffa case again. This came that grand. Jury was in december of one thousand. Nine hundred seventy five and the fbi had obtained a search warrant saying that Going to Scotto stop and trying to find a half his body of a ostensibly that they were looking for this low chart name armand fog now but in fact they were looking for hoffa but it was a fifty four acre toxic waste of quicksand and wild dogs and rats and toxic waste to replay. They had no idea where to look. And so that ended nope at the end of the nowheres ville. But that was the fbi's first position as we're hoffa's body was and it was six hundred fifty miles away from the murder. The scene of the murder in this dump site in jersey city new jersey. So once again. I believe that this was the the the the firewall of the case. So i went out and i interviewed killers. the brazilians in the adrenals. I had the only interview with them. We talked about the scotto. Stop we talked about all these other things and meantime in one thousand nine hundred gate. I published my book the hoffa worse. But i had been i had been following a track which i had been led on by impart at ed part. And what's the key witness against off in his nineteen sixty four jury jury jury tampering trial in chattanooga and ed part had convinced me that off up was of a liaison between the cia. The mafia in decastro sassa nation flaws. Because of all of all of hoffa's contacts over the caribbean and we knew as a fact that hoffa had been working with five mob guys who were have lost an enormous amount of money after castro taken over the island and all five of these guys russell buffalo from northeastern pennsylvania. Jimmy blue mary. John salvador granola to cappos and other casey crime family and the boss of the pittsburgh mafia guy named jolla rock and his underboss gave you so those five guys buffalo renaudo who mary araca mana reno were part of the guys who had been linked to in this effort to get this money back from after castro had had overthrowing batista as the the the cuban revolution so i was hooked up with a with a da. A former ee. age john kidner- and john kidner- had written this fascinating call contract killer and the the book was about the life and times of this Chicago underworld figure name Chuck ramadi charles. Crivelli and i talked to john and john Offered to introduce me to crepaldi who apparently was in the website program.

Scott bernstein address. I don't subscribe to the belief that they would have taken a body and ship it across country. Just it seems way too convoluted and complex when you have a a million ways to get rid of the body here in detroit and people that are very well equipped and well versed in how to conduct. Murder bernstein believes hoffa was taken to a nearby house secured by the mob and killed. Then his body was put in the trunk of the mercury marquee and driven to a local trash company and incinerated yet bernstein is ruining for modera. Pepsi's Number Fever

"Victoria. And where nato angelo. Where a couple living in manila in the philippines. They had a pretty hot life. When i worked as a rickshaw driver and the whole family lived in a tin roof shack but they had a dream. Tim hoffa talks about this in his cautionary tales. Podcast and that dream is that they'll win a very unusual lottery. The lottery is called number fever in the lottery. Numbers are printed on the inside of bottle tops on bottles of pepsi. They sat down every night to wash numbers drawn on tv. If the number from your bottle top was drawn in one grand prize you could win a million pesos. That's equivalent to about forty thousand american dollars. That is a lot of money in the philippines in one thousand nine hundred to a life changing amount of money for victoria and anita if they were ever to win it but of course. It's just that one grand prize. What are the chances they would ever win. What was the number. The number was three four nine one evening. They are watching the television and the lottery. Juries held on the number comes up and it's three four nine. They can't believe it. Got forty thousand dollars a million pesos. They the children can go to college. Anita doesn't have to work as a rickshaw driver any more it would be like winning a million dollars in the us. Today but pepsi messed up and eight hundred thousand bottletops printed with the winning number three four nine so for victoria and horta the way i imagine. This is the run out onto the streets to celebrate and everybody else is on the streets and they're celebrating too because they all have the number three four nine on their bottle tops. So they're all going to be millionaires. Yeah well you'd think pepsi was on the hook for at least fifteen billion dollars

The EU doesn't trust its citizens data in the hands of the U.S.

"With all the big crises facing america. It's surprising to privacy. So high on president biden's agenda but in his first week in office he already appointed someone to negotiate with the european union on how personal information is moved between europe and the us last summer that you said the way data was being sent to. The us was insecure. In august ireland's data regulators told facebook. Stop transferring its citizens data out of europe. The issue is with the irish high court now. In december facebook argued that court that to stop data transfers would have quote devastating and irreversible consequences for its business and this rule would obviously impact all kinds of commercial data and companies. It's also obviously a big deal for the new administration. Jessica a partner with the law firm loeb and loeb prior to twenty twenty. Let's say we had something called the privacy shield in effect and that helped us transfer data from the eu to the us and then over the summer. July twenty twenty. That was struck down. It was found that because of some of the surveillance operations of the us certain executive orders and laws we have in place that the data of eu individuals when it comes here essentially is it held to the same privacy standards as they are in the eu and the privacy. Shield wasn't adequate enough to protect it so that left a lot of us in the privacy community scrambling toward the second half of the year trying to figure out. How do we keep data flowing across the border right and that was a big deal to american tech companies right. I mean they were saying okay. Well look if we can't share data back and forth. We're not going to be able to operate in some of these countries right right. Exactly and so yeah. We've been looking for two things. So one is standard contractual clauses of companies have kind of defaulted to that but even those shaky ground and are being revised so. I think everyone was hoping that we'd find some solution. Some post privacy shield path forward with the eu. But that was difficult. I think what the previous administration will and so now we actually have someone in this role early. What does that signal to the rest of the world about the position. The us might take on privacy. I mean i think it signals a couple of things. I on privacy. I think it it signals that the biden administration understands the importance and the significance of the issue. And the need to kind of have these kind of crossborder cooperation In place and so. I think having someone christopher hoffa was appointed to this position really signals at. They're going to take the seriously and then take the steps that might be needed on the side of the us to make the comfortable with these data transfers. More broadly what sort of issues around. Privacy and surveillance do we expect. The biden administration tackle. Is there a chance for federal privacy legislation at long last. I've said that. I have moved from just mostly pessimistic to now moderately optimistic and that was really push forward by what happened in georgia so now with one party control all houses i think the path forward seems a little bit more clear and you know to keep in mind that biden and then we also have comma harris. Who formerly was attorney. General in california where she pushed forward a lot of significant privacy legislation. That's still impacts a lot of us today. So you know between the two of them i think this is an administration that has a background and understanding of the importance of privacy. And you know we have to deal with the pandemic. I but i anticipate privacy being a priority for them. Yeah i mean as a you mentioned by president. Kamala harris as a presidential candidate. She said that her first priority with tech companies is to ensure that consumer privacy remains uncompromised. Like is it. Is this an administration. You think that will try to find a better line between a business friendly approach and a consumer friendly approach whereas now it seems to be all business i do i do. I think i think that'd be really sensitive to the consumer issues. And if we think about it. When i look at what's going on in terms of trying to regulate privacy and then more broadly the tech companies it it feels like regulators are trying to chase a ball down a hill. You know it's just like oh. Do we do antitrust. Do we do section to thirty. Can we get some kind of federal privacy. And i think they'll try to take a pragmatic approach that will bridge the gap between the business and the consumer advocates. And from where. I said i think they're really sticking issues with federal privacy. That are left. It's will there be a private right of action meaning well individual consumers be able to sue companies directly. And then we'll they'll be preemption. Meaning that will this federal bill preempt any state laws which is really what business wants because business doesn't want to have to comply with fifty different state privacy laws on top federal privacy. So i think if we can get a path forward on those to all the other points of privacy laws are consumers get writes a lot of companies are already complying with that because of gdp pr see cpa. So we're down to the we're down to the final issues. Hopefully

Bitcoin Dominance Theory

"Let's do what we don't discuss the mock and what's going on because yesterday we did say bitcoin pretty good troy and I'm going to call it a try. It did full through as hyped with the diaper, which was up three point three, six, percent gutter pretty kate levels there, and we are holding above ten thousand, five, hundred I'd like to say a little bit more Gas. Star if you will from bitcoin yesterday, what we closed up a percent, we close at seven to ten, thousand, seven, hundred, ninety full. Now, what does that mean to me? Or. Quite simply put what that means to me as well. It gave a little back didn't amazed. At one stage, we were up roughly tune off set. And we pull back away from those highs. We did. We did come back about one point full percent. We did touch a high of ten, thousand, nine, hundred, thirty, three as we saw to approach that eleven thousand dollar mark and I think if we can get through eleven with, we really are starting to look better. It's it's just crawling. is not doing what it did. If you recall back through the end of July twenty seventh paying the mind where we sort eleven percent, we did say some increase volatility back into bitcoin with multiple falls and falls in sixes and that sort of thing percentage moves. It really has slowed up. But It still looks good. It's just a little bit. Now, the real interesting thing that I've found with the market lightly. And I was speaking to my. To the people that were in the live trading full of warning about this. I was looking at the bitcoin dominance. dude look at the bitcoin dominance shots from the top of my list of sudden missile got there and look over the loss and just can't seem on. This particular child doesn't move very much. So when I tell you that too, it's hot out full point one percent that's actually quite a decent move. It doesn't tend to have massive dice big one percent or a big dies won't percent yesterday was one point four percents that was a pretty big die. Bitcoin dominance using up point four percent now. The reason that I bring this up is it's actually important. There's a lot of things that I have saying when it comes to trading crypto. Remotely mostly when Bitcoin Sideways, what we ended up having is will have oats that work. Well, the FI trying to they taste say becomes a really good option. You know we we can short Xiv we can go along against that market. We'd leverage with spot we tend to say some really good moves. But at the moment. It's not sort of being the case we saw Bitcoin at ten thousand hanging around there and we we really didn't have a great deal of good trends. We did which the spark a big move but like a site spock's moves like they weren't exactly what I was, you know what I considered to be optimal trading conditions. So at the moment. Yes know looking at a A. Little, bit perplexed by what's happening. It's almost like a different dynamic is coming in. Now the dynamic that we haven't had of light has been bitcoin really having a good move member. If you around back in two thousand seventeen, typically ALZ would go up and the money would come and go back into bitcoin and bitcoin within takeoff and it would be a bit say so it was only for. For six months. Leading up until December period. Now. That's the only thing that we haven't seen really strong bitcoin words. The tykes back the throne and so does his hang on, hang hang on bitcoin ongoing now it's GonNa move. Have it saying that? Will we see that will full but it's just a theory on putting at sharing my thoughts on what's going on what I'm saying out there in the mock would damn point seven percent currently on. Bitcoin. At ten, thousand, seven, hundred, ten. The theory looking a lot weaknesses will show when I go through this. You'll say the ALZ even the top ten or thereabouts of have really had a bit of lead been lacking. Three point five percent down was a theorem yesterday. That's what it closed that closing at three sixty full one full and it's now down one point five, three, fifty, eight, point, six, two. So it looks more Barrington bullish except play fish that down one point nine percent today so far has sparked low that were twenty three point eight cents yesterday was down one percents and nothing too drastic yesterday as a matter of fact, the selling in exile place it'll happened to Hoffa now around that open time ten I am we we did say come off quite significantly good two and a half three percent at one stage it has since bounced back on Bitcoin cash now. Yesterday, it was up four percent today. It is down two point eight percent giving back where twenty, eight, point, four, five, and again looking pretty average their lot Quan as well. Yesterday, it closed down one point, six percent of forty eight dollars and thirty three cents. A pretty average looking shot needs to get about fifty dollars really. Could we setting high potential to push US hi through that it's forty seven dollars and seventy one cents at the moment base via up by one percent closing at one, sixty, five, seven, three. With down two percent at one sixty two right now and not much going on there either car down rolling over quite nicely. This could be potential opportunity for shorting on those lower timeframe. So they sitting at nonsense down two and a half percent yesterday closing three point six

"Good opportunities over the way Kim markets wise We did say Bitcoin close up yesterday's candle good two percent. Saturday it was Dan Hoffa percents dawdling along Napa three jot rotten. Now, we had a weekly close up point six of a percent we closet eleven thousand, seven, hundred, twenty, four, the Pisa glidden thousand Mothers Bay. The raging will be fine some support now, we not out of the out of the woods yet. We could certainly say the market come back Deepa the limb five until he breakout through the high of loss wakes candle is still in the cards. Lost Weeks was eleven thousand, eight, hundred thirty. We get above the. Will Continue to say, Bitcoin, move off to what has been. Let's be honest. We over the last couple of weeks I mean. We saw that. bitcoin strong couple of wakes up seven point eight percent beckon the twentieth of July. Then the twenty seventh of July were up eleven percent. So a guy in a strong way. The third of August, the start of August, we saw the handle up five point five non then the tenth of August, two percent. Then we would down two point two, five in the last month. Last. Week out point six of Senator Forget as well. We've got the one month the month ending. Very very shortly. Murat. Month right now it's not huge is only three cents at stands lost month mother. July was up twenty, four, point two, nine percent. So. Big. Although has A. Date pullback and hasn't gone to not for a little while you know it's it's sort of slow dead off that big Brennan I wouldn't be surprised. To say, have a bit of a run because if you consider. Aman, where are we going back to the fifth wheel of scars most of August? Look we saw a low of August the low of the month. will go the low the month was ten, thousand, six, hundred, fifty, hot twelve, thousand, five, hundred. So let's let's US Mike the two thousand. Dull. Is Not crazy now it's not crazy at all. So it could say a bit of a kick on for bitcoin at pulling back a little bit on yesterday's That's like. Too much going on. We do have a four hour tried to let it thousand, seven hundred and seventy s where we have. A very already. So kicked on again, yesterday up seven point six, five percent. Closing the wake-up nausea strong a good ten percents point seven, five percent. That's a pretty, damn strong wait there for rough sell straight back off got grease the bull the Rod has a four, twenty, five, twenty, four. Down one percent Australia kicking apply there is well. Exiled did may the ten period moving average loss wake low with twenty five point three cents and closed at twenty nine point so I closed twenty point three it's now at twenty point three point, two percent and. Is Starting to get a little bit of follow through I. WanNa see. Except to a bit more before I. Get involved in this way be SR bitcoin cash sitting back down that way a cradles on. Yeah. Loss Waking. At one point four percent loss weight but to tell you walk. Josh Soda hanging above that two seven five. Region which has been acting as a bit of support that will be very interesting to see how he guy. Throughout the rest of the way swig oversee with just starting, considering where we backing to the four hundred has an arsenal trend. With currently it's an option at two hundred and seventy dollars and fifteen cents hoffa percent. Why Coins? Well, McLaughlin had I am. A RIP Day yesterday up ten point four, two percent and ready citing lot coins wake. It did have a lar- that came in fifty, three, eighty six but ended up closing at sixty to ninety four. That's a big swing up three point. I, said last week. A really strong way ready for math from lot one of the strongest ally the. Within our top ten wetness what goes on for the time being be as Vasil. So sickening that little weekly cried align. It's look it's pretty like lost of a BS vade. Puppy tends to move hard with law of one eighty, one last week and I have to I non closing one, ninety, six, eighty, six, one, get above two, hundred on base the. That's where the the movement will start to shine on through still gonNA lower to one on six seventeen point three, five off percent cod Donna on the weekly. Will it also rejected the lows of the wake lows at ten point two cents higher at twelve point seven and closing at eleven point seventy, five so. It's up a little bit. "But he took a little piece of ever action of absolutely again, take ten percent of that. Not Too long ago, Kansas City at certain people try to go into the fireworks business too because you get a lot of money fireworks in a short period of time and great market area the way and. If, you're connected halfway connected guy you go into fireworks business and they can't sit area. You got kick a little bit to some of the guys. So I get. told me he said Yeah I said I told him that hell with that. I'm not paying anybody anything and dot go into fireworks busy. He had a rally into for forty by fake, but he did not want to have those guys coming around gotTa fibers business you really you really vulnerable invade if somebody thinks you money for running that business and you don't pay and they're mad yet man, they can take you out with the flip love match can't they? Dammed interesting because Indiana as basically no fireworks laws I mean there's a fireworks. The big mortars and stuff on every corner appear in in my little town. I don't know about southern. But. There's firework stands on every corner in Kaplans and crazy. Yeah. Crazy Kaplans and black. Every every corner in northwestern Indiana as a massive fireworks. Dan There's whole big chains they're open, twenty, four, seven some of them in an all year long, and they're the big ones like the professional fireworks anybody can just walk in and I'm so. It would make sense as please be all mob-connected. I know what they did here we had local fireworks businessman that got caught as a state representative Lee it's all handled by state statute state representative, Alex. Vizino. Who was a connected guy was he was there in the state legislature and they popped him for taking a bribe from this local farmers dealer in order to to try to a change some legislation to make it easier on the fireworks developer. So you got a mob has got good political connections and they can keep those regulations down why? The. At fireworks business goal. That's one thing they can do for you. If you're fireworks distributors, they can help keep the the regulations down because it's highly regulated anyhow moving right along McClellan committee can't remember remember the McClellan committee when I was a young man or a kid even, and it was reported all over like magazines, pitchers and stuff about the mob, the teamsters. Back and Tell us about that Cam. You know it was really Oughta wasn't quite the president yet but really happened they were there investigating organized labor one of the spark that lit the fuse was. Johnny Gardy. Who was Lucozzi member had gotten together with with Jimmy Hoffa and said look why don't you give me give me the. Paper I'll setup seven paper local. So they're not real locals. They're just setting up seven unions on paper, and then I'll be able to give you seven different votes. So Jimmy, gave him fifteen charters to set to create these fake locals. Johnny dio gets fifteen votes on the in order to help. Help, Jimmy get. Established. Back in back at this time until the nineteen ninety s teamsters elections were not they were not general elections you were you were elected by by upper managed by by the president of locals and by the vice president's in the teamsters board. So the general elections you didn't didn't count it all. But if you have fifteen locals in your pocket, that means you have fifteen votes, it wasn't. There was no general elections. So Victory Sel who was the journalist he discovers this and he writes about the corruption in these locals and especially about Johnny and Jimmy Hoffa, and this is bad because Jimmy Hoffa was was moving up towards president. So Johnny Dio had one of his thugs throw acid in victory Zell's face..

N. High Commissioner for human rights Machel passionate well as we can you report by the right script human rights group Amnesty International gave a damning assessment of president tissue Katie's governments on the one year anniversary of his taking power it said that in security and impunity continue to threaten the country chase instance is director of the Congo research group at New York University says the evidence that to backup Vesey when allegations all figures are hard to come by we project that I'd be called to keep a secure tracker gathers for example data on human rights abuses in the most complex like the provinces in the east and and their that corresponds roughly to what she's saying and I think as well it corresponds to data gathered by the high commission for human rights going back you know ten years now it's been persistent trends did different way of approaching the conflict you can approach the cop but by putting the blame on that a hundred and thirty so different armed groups in eastern Congo and focusing on their often very brutal violence or you can look at the state security services who are not only responsible as you pointed out for many of the violations but who I think almost more importantly are responsive for not responsible for not doing enough to dismantle those armed groups is particularly sensitive subject because this is the end of your one of a new administration under president few extra security came in after a controversial election results but promising to revamp everything and in particular to bring stability to the eastern Congo and so this criticism I think we'll get him particularly hard there have been some several high profile cases where she has all for the prosecution of certain police and army commanders but at the same time he's also partnered with very hard high profile abusers people who have who are known to have either been responsible human rights violations or engage in some sort of other violation of the military code and so whatever small progress he's made answers prosecution I think it's been a race bias partnership with some of those very high profile generals prison she's kitties in a very difficult binds he was by many accounts including data we obtain she did not win the presidential election and instead former president Reagan election in his favor and presented him with that basically if it's a complete you become president but I still dominate all of the other institutions including security institutions and such is the Katie came into a situation a de facto partnership in power sharing agreement with the former president Joseph Kabila and so it's very difficult for him actually to make progress because many of these networks including military networks are dominated by people close to could be dismissed as a director of a conger research group at New York University elections coming up.

"Was supposedly murdered him and they dug up the floorboards and they found they found blood and they that house at the time of the supposed. Jimmy Hoffa murder was going on rented. It was just like a like a Mafia house that they like. You could plausibly. Just walks in you. You know nobody would be there. Kill guy but the blood on the on the floorboards did not match office does not DNA match This and also this Guy Frank Sheeran. He was friends with Hoffa for a long time too but he was like a known like you said a guy who paints houses did a lot outta house painting for the Buffalo Family which was at the time probably the most powerful Mafia family they were out of New York so It was it was one of those things and then you know the when when Hoffa disappeared they did all the things in nineteen seventy five the call the police called the you know the FBI got involved. They questioned people. They questioned Tony Pro and then this Anthony Jack Lonnie who supposedly you know going to meet with him that day. They both had like airtight alibis. So they tony pro said Hey I was playing cars Jersey all these people who can corroborate Jack Laney said he was getting a haircut. So it's like there are no no nobody no witnesses. This is in the to like possible suspects right off the bat have good alibis so it was just like there's just as it is a cold case from the word go and a big part is to get away from Sharon for a second here like you said those guys. Whoever they were with they kept talking about the time They kept talking about the time because they wanted that alibi. Oh by to let people know like Oh yeah two o'clock three thirty four PM. I remember I was with them and they kept saying that time so like of course tell them celebrate. They knew what they were doing. And that makes you think they had some type of influence in this but Frank Sharon why. I think people have problems with him confessing to the crime as he was is pretty he was pretty loose with the stuff he could fast too. I guess and I. That's what everything I've seen. was that they in listen. You're going to see it in the movie star. Like if you're if you don't want whatever there might be spoilers but there's no spoilers I said yes history is history exactly so he liked chartered a mini private plane to Detroit throughout Ohio. And then they said that that that's impossible I don't there's a lot of yeah. There's a lot of conspiracies into believing that Frank Sharon earn liars. Actually Dan Baldia. who was like Jimmy Hoffa expert? He is like on a crusade against the movie. And he's upset with the Niro and Scorsese because like he's you so like you so like stuck in the mud like hey. There's no way frank. Sharon did this in confess. Because he was dying he needed money he was broke. All I don't wow that's kind of a is trying to sell books. That's the background on why Sharon didn't do it. And then you have like you said there's reasonably that he may have done it. Yeah well well The other part of that is you know sharing like it or not. It was a Catholic right so he might have just been confessing like. Just get this off my chest fast like I did it. I am dying I am broke but I am also dying and I don't WanNa take this to my deathbed like that. That's the thing that happens too. So maybe maybe he did do it but you know like you said there. There are some details. That are a little fuzzy where it's like all Sheeran says who is in this car and there's no evidence of him being in like them picking him up at a certain car and then there's the NAF him found in a different car a car. Belonging this Guy Chuckie O'Brien So another Mafia Guy who knew all parties involved so it was like okay like wall then that is a major detail of Sheeran story. That doesn't quite line up because there's no detail in one long car that he supposedly took and there is DNA. In this guy. Chucky O'Brien's car so Chuckie O'Brien he was kind of like a guy who he was almost almost a doofus. I would say what the way they described it right. Yeah like he was just kind of And he just. He wasn't seen like the not the alibi on him. But the like the the discussion couldn't have been chuck. O'Brien is it. He was not a guy that you put out for this job right trusted yes right like this was a job that it would have been very tight slipped. Nominee people would have known in their best guys end of story. Right a guy like sharing. Yes a guy like Sharon not a guy like Chuck Bryant Right. So they're just the people find it hard to believe that they had any this guy anywhere near this and Chuckie. O'Brien has also just vehemently denied any involvement for fifty years or forty years. So it's also you know like so again like maybe I don't know why but I believe them but in that kind of backs it up to it's like if you're you're you have to this is not just maybe Chucky O'Brien's good enough for a normal mob hit. This is Jimmy Hoffa like like. We've talked about like this is a guy who received the presidential part this this guy who's been on national TV with you. Know other presidents I. It's it's insane like how well known and powerful. This guy was so it's not just so you know it's you like you said you'd better use your absolute best guys and and like you can't have big conspiracy 'cause people like the power and they like the credit and someone someone will have you know loose lips sink ships and that's how this thing goes down so you have to have somebody you can absolutely trust and Sharon was a guy that Russell Bufalino absolutely trusted. Yeah and people knew Jimmy Hoffa you know like people knew who he it's not like you could just couldn't make their worst supporters at the time for sure. A lot of the people didn't want him there here at the end when he had his most support at that time. Still in Detroit and it was in Detroit Michigan. You know Also the Detroit mob. I mean it's all title Newark but was there anything else that there was kind of. Yeah so I mean. There's a million theory so I don't if we want to hop onto another one but supposedly office traveling all the time he's in prison and his wife gets a little bit lonely so she actually has an affair. Allegedly now this is according to Guy Tarrant McShane and Terence McShane worked for the FBI and he also was Part of this board that was in charge of like Kinda rebuilding and fixing like like an anti corruption board of teamsters so like not he had. FBI information the also had some inside information and he wrote a book as well and he said that you know this was the thing that you know. HOFFA's wife Josephine had an affair with kind of a low level Mobster guy in Detroit Hafa finds out about it and he goes to like the Don on of the the head of the Detroit. Mafia's this Guy Torelli and it's really go. Listens to his story. Goes Okay and then he's just like wow like office completely we lost. It has no respect. Can't handle like his own wife can't handle like this again. This is another time it was like hey like take care of your your own problems yourself with your family and and so they just kind of lost you know the kind of started looking at him in a different light kind of way so now it's like like they already had problems with Hoffa. I think he's losing his grip lake totally that and they're worried that he's GonNa Start blabbing about how deep the connections between the Mafia and because it's it's like you're willing to tell me about problems with your wife. What else are you willing to say? So now they like now. They feel like they can't trust him To handle these problems and keep his mouth shut so they get kinda get worried and again. It's like goes back to the issue about the money like they still want access to that money. So now he becomes like an expendable and Person and kind of somebody that they just they just can't trust and it's also important in our. I'm sorry we didn't mention this already. He was already open or he was working with people to against them up wasn't wasn't he working with authorities. Well that was part of his case before that he was leaking stuff against both the I bt and the Mafia so like Hoffa's like playing every which way and like people they they know like the Mafia. Yeah and you know once you get in that situation you you're asking for trouble. Yeah you're you're toast toasted. That's the truth and Richard Kuklinski. If we want to go to another suspect if you WanNa talk about his situational yes so talk about another guy who the the mafia absolutely trust as a Hitman so he is another guy who ties to the The BUFALINI family The story goes oppose a he showed up to the Red Fox with Tony Pro and then there is like an unnamed driver driver and so the driver twenty pro sitting shotgun took Linski in the back with Hoffa and now Hoffa you know people all these stories with Hoffa getting into a car right because he just assumes that at the meeting location has been changed and he's like pissed off because they're late but like whatever. Let's let's go so he gets into the car and Twenty programs could Kalinski Signal bashes him in the head with job job. Breaker stabs them and then they pull off to the side of the road and throw them in a body bag. Put Him in the trunk and then they take that too. Is that the one they took to an incinerator raider. Yes that's the one that. Put them in a fifty five gallon. Oh yeah fifty. Five Gallon oil drum welded it shut and then buried it so that was like that was the story that that's where HOFFA ended up buried in oil drum then they actually because the FBI they had like some other case and somebody said they had information about the whereabouts of of of Of HOFFA and the Mafia found out about that supposedly they dug up that oil drum. Put it in the back of a car. Put the car through a compactor and shipped it to Japan so like to be recycled and used for other auto parts. So it's just like a steel scrap car with an oil drum containing Jimmy Hoffa's body audience and then the defense against that as they would never be dumb enough to send a body across fucking the ocean that and then also Hof is not a dummy..

Jimmy Hoffa Guy Frank Sheeran Frank Sharon Guy Chuckie O'Brien FBI Mafia Detroit Tony Pro Guy Tarrant McShane Guy Torelli murder New York Japan Kalinski Signal Buffalo Family Ohio Anthony Jack Lonnie Richard Kuklinski Jack Laney Russell Bufalino

Hey that's completely different community from the ground via can you that i was working with where it's you know hardcore for r._p._g. Fans so you completely have to change your mindset. Am the content you create from one game to another and it's it. It definitely is a lot of planning involved. Oh yeah i can imagine i mean from from what we do. On on our end. It makes it look so doc so small scale like we're scheduling out tweets and you're dealing with thousands of people that are wanting to play this game. It's it's that's a big responsibility. Yeah you definitely have to you have to be good listener and you have to constantly be involved. It's definitely i'm not you know i do. Have my mice set hours of when i go into work when i leave work but i feel like i'm constantly like on being involved about the community. I like constantly looking by phone to see what the latest like. Comments are things like that. You never really go to sleep. Uh with something like the the gaming industry. Were you know something he announced. You know edit it really at any time you have to stay on top of. I'm sure so yes for sure yeah. You're pretty much always on the clock. Even though you aren't officially i can understand that too with like content creators and constantly having to be aware of what's going on near fountain circles. Yeah now is always gonna ask. What's that <hes> like the balance between being a community manager and then like managing your own stuff. 'cause i know you like you're also streamers well right. What's that balance between like the gaming industry and then your content yeah i so it's more about the stance you take with when you're dealing with content for a company or is this your own content. There's definitely a lot more freedom with my own content because they're out. There are rules for when you're working with company. They want you to create versus for you. Want to create the kind of stuff you liked to create like for example. My content streaming wise is based around horror and when i'm working from home that that's you know i'm working on like a sci fi or fantasy touches so there's works definitely a different and then just the way you interact with people from a company standpoint verses high interact with your own community. There's definitely a lot of overlap but there's definitely a disconnect when you're working with a company versus. When you're working with your own content dummies notes were quick yeah <hes> i mean i like the challenges of both i think they're both really interesting but i kind of liked the ability to every day something different with working with a company like you're never working on one thing anytime so that's that's always really interests yeah especially with the huge a growing market with between like tap-in and i'm sure there's like the huge market of people like hoffa. Oh god grand is coming back out like me like super excited to hear about it and they came out friday. I had no idea about death but i guess like just trying to balance the the two would be so so tough job where it so yeah i think so <hes> when i was working on a major quit i was actually in graduate school. A lot of people don't know <hes> yeah. I was working on my on my master's writing while i was working for major quit <hes> and balancing and i was also working at third job up which had nothing to do with anything more financial help but race right. Let's write worked for my. I worked for my college in the financial away program evidentially department so i was doing three things at once that force me to kind of have have to schedule everything very specifically so i knew from you know like nine a._m. To five p._m..
