It was just like Was the most striking thing to me because no one had ever done. That is on that level. You know every interview everything she's doing. It was just disgusting, You know? Well, it sure was Dylan. When my my point is, I watch a lot of CNN and MSNBC host. So you guys don't have to. I have never heard a pundit. Not even Rick Santorum before he got fired, Say, Well, what about Hillary? She's been saying for four years, she found a lawsuit. Her red supporters stormed the streets. When Donald Trump got elected the inauguration, Her supporters stormed the streets. Nobody has said that Well, I'm saying it and I think everybody that listens to your show knows it because I mean, you know we were there, but I think we need to quit worrying about CNN, and we need to worry about Our former president who's saying it now because he's a disgrace. Well, Dylan, I disagree with you there. Disagree with you that he is a disgrace. If he's a disgrace, what does that make Hillary? Donald Trump has been saying it since since November, Hillary been saying it for four plus years and has less reason to say it then Donald Trump. There was an investigation. "In the balance Over the next few days. Lauren Gilbert will join us in a second. Cory Gardner without question the most effective first term U S senator in American history. At 506. Let's go back to Mark who held patiently during news from Colorado Springs. He had posed a great question before the break to Dick Wadhams, who is with us and mark. Essentially, the question was Dick. Why do you put any stock in these polls? Right? That's the gist of it. Yeah, and Mark us a good question. But let me let me try to answer it. First of all, you really cannot dismiss the aggregate of all his national polls. That really clear politics does a good job and in aggregating, that's what they do, but on I know I hear all the time from friends of mine. While the polls were wrong in 2016, well, they really weren't as wrong as you think. The the fact is that the states that Trump carried in 2016 that gave him the presidency. Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. Actually, those those polls showed ah, very narrow lead for Hillary Clinton almost within the margin of air, and so it was not beyond beyond the realm of imagination. That Trump could could defy those poles because of the Thie vast increase in the turnout of especially white working class Democrats who had actually voted for Obama twice so Yeah, Go ahead. Go ahead. Sure. So when you go back and look at those battleground states back in 16 2 days before the election, Hillary was up 3 to 7 points in every battle grown state. Trump wanted between the half a point and eight points, depending on which state so there was a 3.5 over 10 point swing in those states and really, there was only a couple of polling places like Trafficker Bears polling, Susquehanna. Who picked them and even in 18. I know these polls say we've made adjustments. But even in 2018, they were way off with their polling. Not none of the major pollsters out there even picked the Florida race. Correct trafficker did. There's pulling did and I guess it's these little shops. That seemed to be kind of polling better than what we're seeing with these very large ones, so I'm just saying when you see in 16 a 3 to 10 Point swing from Hillary Donald Trump winning To me. That's not a that's not a very accurate poll. And I just think there's mark and we're kind of seeing the same thing again. You were is a fair question. And in order to do it, justice what? What I'd like to propose is moving Dicks. Next comments on that until after a conversation with Lauren Bo Burt because she's kind enough to join us and and I know she has a busy schedule all over Colorado, so we'll swing back to Mark's point, and I have something I want to propose to you Dick in support of Mark's position that the polls are likely even more off now than they were in 16 and see what you think of that. Go to the V I P Line and welcome, Loren. Vote Bert soon to be Congressman Bober back to the Dan Kaplan Show Dick Wadhams in the house. How you doing, Lauren? Tied me and I think it's great to be on here with you guys. We have five days left. No, it's it's amazing because we think back to the first time you joined us on this show when you were climbing the tallest of mountains to beat an incumbent Republican in a primary, and and then you climb that mountain and I have no doubt that you're gonna conquer this one. But I need to work out more often because I also saw your spot this morning working on it was a very good spot. Where does the race stand right now? You saw me working out? Oh, no, no, no, I'm not that kind of guy. I saw your spot. I was working out. I saw your TV spot cheese. I need to be more percent Fake news, Dan. Yeah, work. You had time to work out home account. But no, it was. It was a really good TV spot. We're all we're all throughout the district and I'm so excited about the next the next five days. I'm headed down to Pueblo right now, and we're going to spend the weekend there would be knocking doors and I have the event listed on my Facebook page more and vote for Congress. So if anybody wants to join us and help us knock door, they get the vote out in Pueblo. I would love to meet these folks and on then send him out with a game plan on how we can win this election Bigly. And I'm doubting that they're going to find your competitors knocking on doors. I mean, you are the picture of energy. You're the picture of grassroots and and your competitors. Has anybody seen her? Know what he got. Even all the the acid he has there, Reverend. From 2018. They have to use your old D roll because she won't leave her basement. I don't know how anyone expect to represent. 29 counties without leaving their key mountain resort town. So it's it's incredible that she thinks she's going to go to Washington, D. C. To represent people that she has not looked in the eye and shaking their hands and and committed to work for them each and every day and and that thing back on what I've been doing. I've been meeting with Hundreds and thousands of people throughout the district and ensuring them I will fight for them each and every day, I will spend every waking moment, making sure they get the best end of the deal that we have a thriving economy here that our energy industry is huge. I want those steel workers in Pueblo backto work. There are hundreds We're late off right now. And I'm going to DC Tio. Work for them and get get DC the heck out of Colorado. Get more Colorado and into DC Lauren, This is Dick. Do you think anybody's told that Mitch Bush that by supporting the green new deal, she's killing those pueblo jobs Because they're steel workers make pipes pipe for the oil and gas industry. Do you think anybody's mentioned that her So that's exactly what these guys do. They make this the piper fracking and they make the casing to keep our wealth safe and secure. And you know she's taken an anti fossil fuel pledge. She refuses to support the Georgia Coast pipeline that would create international market because we could explore our queen liquid natural gas to these countries there currently dependent on communist dictator for their energy, But instead she was rather Tied with Iranian terrorists or outsource our introducing to China and wealthy are China and Africa, where we know that child in slave labor is often used. And so I do think someone has has told her or maybe she's got a little bit of research because if you go to her website She has a work to welfare program ready for the steel workers. He knows that her policies will kill their industry, and she has a government program waiting there for them when they lose their job. And Lauren. Let's talk about between now and Election Day first..

"And I had to put stuff because on on Tuesday night, when the When the power first went out, I'm like I've got £2 of ground turkey that's sitting in that refrigerator. And if the power's out for more than four hours, it's going bad, So I'm sitting there. It's 95 degrees in my apartment. There's no power. I've got candle lights going, and I'm cooking over this stove, just dripping sweat going. I'm not letting that turkey go back Priorities a McCain priority. No, it can't be wasteful. Well, I understand, but it's always good to talk to you. Hopefully, we'll get to see Children soon in person. You know when all this is over and good morning to all sharp, who's producing the program today? It's good to talk to you as well, You know, hopefully we'll get to be back in studio together at some point in all this time, because I know that you being immuno compromised is not going to be any time soon. And I'm not gonna have you be put in a bad position. But I appreciate what you do in and Jacob with the flashback Friday with Ah ha Take on me now. Did you have to Google that song? Or did you know it on something? I know the song. No, don't don't say it like you like he was in digging. No, I know this. Oh, How do you know this song? Did you see it like on oldies, MTV YouTube video or something? Probably. That's probably where I first No, but you have an impeccable taste for music. And I appreciate that. Okay to the business at hand, Did you? Did you all watch last night? Did you all enjoy it? On some level? There were some funny and and unintentionally funny moments last night during the DNC, regardless of your political persuasion. I think Julia Louis Dreyfus hit and missed very badly and very well throughout the evening when she was m seeing if you will. It's kind of hard and this is something that I empathize with her as someone who works. In radio If you work in radio, or if you listen like to Aimee King, I can't see Aimee King right now. She cannot see me. I cannot see Jacob. I cannot see you listening right now. On I heart radio. I can't see you. I don't know what your immediate reaction is, and it's really difficult to be funny or to be engaging. When there's no immediate response. That's hard to do. And I salute anyone who can do that. Especially if you're trying to tell jokes. Some of Joe Median, though, right? So shouldn't she know how to be funny? No, no, no, no, I I agree. That's her expertise. But usually comedians do have an audience, though, and comedians are allowed to change on the fly. And comedians usually usually have the wherewithal I should say the freedom the autonomy. To make changes as you go as opposed to reading a script and when you're reading a script, and you're reading the jokes, they seem like they're being read. They seem stilted, and a lot of those jokes were poorly written. Let me just start there. There's only so much you could do with poorly written jokes. I don't know. She got to write all of her material many times, the comedian or the emcee does not get to write the material. Some of them were funny, but most of them to me, and I'm just a judge of comedy, not the content. The comedy itself were just unfunny. Think it needed to be funny. I don't think that that was the time or or the place to be funny as if you're hosting an award show and it's difficult to begin if you're funny. It's different if you're light heartedly and in a joking manner. But the mean spiritedness of her comments was what I found so unfunny. Well, that's the thing. And if it's not who you are and what you do And it's not the place for that. It's going to land in a wrong way. I just I just didn't think it was necessary. I didn't think. Well, they're two things and you make a good point. Amy King I didn't think it was necessary to incorporate humor in that manner. In that event, that's the first thing into I didn't think you need to make personal remarks and you need to be mean spirited. That's just me. It may have been funny to other people, but he didn't land. It's funny to me. I don't think they gained anything when I say they the DNC. I don't think they gained any voters. I don't think they gain any high ground. I don't think they gain any terrain as it were. I don't think it added anything to the actual event itself. I may be wrong, but I think I'm right about this. I don't know. If Julia Louis Dreyfus really added anything overall, I think if she would have played it straight in the way that Kerry Washington did, or Tracy Ellis Ross did, or even even Longoria, even though they're not comedians just play it straight. Just kind of keep the evening moving. I think it would've been more effective, but you know what? In 23 weeks, No one's going to remember And I don't think anyone's going to care passed this weekend, but it does set up though. What's to come in the RNC. And I honestly don't know what's going to happen, But before I talk about the RNC I did want to slow down and really take my time and talk about this whole process of these conventions during covert 19. And you will hear from people who will say all the DNC was so boring or oh, my gosh, all these screens and they had the technical issues. I don't see how they're going to win in November. Do not try to thinks there's only really one metric and you will see stories say, Oh, DNC viewership ratings down 48%. That's a headline that I did see. Or people are not tuning into the DNC. Remember who their audiences Their audience isn't quote unquote, the people they already have. Their audience or the purpose of a convention really is about the people. They don't already have the people who may stay home the people who are not excited, who are not energized to people who are not excited about Hillary Clinton in 2016, the people who were not excited about Tim Kaine as her running mate in 2016. The disaffected people, the people who think that their votes really don't matter anymore. That's who the D N C is for. If you really dislike Donald Trump. They would've shown color bars for four days in a row, and that was not going to change your vote. So let's be honest here. If you though, we're not sure whether Joe Biden was going to be progressive enough for you because maybe you wanted Bernie Sanders. Maybe going to tune in to see how that's gonna play out. Or if you stayed home because you thought, well, Hillary Donald Trump. Off the toss of a coin there the same. I don't feel any differently. I don't like either. Well, then the DNC was for that person to see if there could be a stark contrast, which could be made between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. And maybe that may resonate to you. If you fall into the trap, and I do mean the trap if you fall into the trap of thinking that it's all about ratings. Then you're missing the point. It's about generating excitement. You don't necessarily need to generate excitement on that particulary day in the sense of watching that TV show and it's a TV show. It's about whether people donate.

Anyways, still Johnny Carson. Number eight the Carol Burnett show. Bu oh, yeah. Count my mom on time. Speaking of mama's family who else my favorite kid, also blue founders fine. Tom Tim didn't have anything for Travis look at why he's doing mama's families. Stock is enough in about. Nothing is right into the lower mainland. So funny coming in number six last week tonight. John Oliver John Oliver. Yes, she saw John Oliver live his standup is actually really really good. He's hilarious. He's flick. Schism HBO spiel see that's why we hadn't seen in Chris. You don't have HBO. I just don't go to a little English guy with glasses. He's He's very very funny. funny. Very very funny. Number five number five right in living color. We just talked about all these live on five one through four are. So I gotta keep listening. We go to Levin. Oh, yeah. Be go coming in number four Showtime at the Apollo in a tie way for it. Wait a tie Lou. Shawn's couldn't go full on. I had to tied up all right or some other radio show. But anyway, the daily show. Oh, yeah. Eleven is eleven two completely different shows yet both fantastic long runs and very very influential both in terms of just entertainment value. But obviously cultural influences, well, number three, speaking culture influence, only because it resurged isn't in the top three because while it was wallowing outside of fifteen Saturday Night Live, but since the twenty sixteen campaign they've been batting like damn near thousand. Catches obviously know the rich history of the movies, the great careers came from it in the eighties. But it hit a lull, but they felt that groove again. Thanks in large part to Hillary Donald Trump for no other reason that show's been on nearly fifty years. Yeah. Was your favorite era? I really liked the will Ferron Chris Catan like that arrow fair and will Ferrell. You don't. A new actor. He was just he was willing to riders. He's very. But anyway, willing Chris Catan like the perfect cheer. And all that they thought that was really funny. We'll Farrow was Eddie Murphy that was for Eddie not doing a better net. That was them greatest. It's me is when he got on the bus Whiteface, Hoppy. Man that was so funny to this day. Walks into the paint. Walks. Do. Sure. Hey. That was good. Gotta pull the bus for like tails. I was good. That was good number two the day Chapelle show did not have a very long run. But it wasn't because I wanted to see it day one do some of the fans who seasons, and then they tried to third with Ashy Larry hosting same out skates writings at the B side, so to speak but to real seasons. I it's easier for me to think of a skit that didn't work then there's a skit. Hey, spills funny. I mean, the prince kit all. James all invaders raft every time he did a singer was fun. The blind clansman the Bligh. And didn't have a long run. But Dale will honestly with Chapelle then in his show. You feel cheated you feel and I get it. I get a tissue. He gets to do what he wants. But that was one of those it felt like there was so much more that he could have died. We we only got such a small slice on. Yeah. You can't go back to now. Nope. No just can't try to recreate that now, unfortunately. And then number one my personal favourite show. I don't think I missed very many episodes. Yeah. Muppets? It is. Inspire. "You're very relieved woman. I'm a stoned woman. I was at home reconciled to new life outside politics. And then suddenly I'm back into frame we had I that we were too far behind to. So I just said look, I know has Lazarus felt like. It was it was that kind of moment. Is this a story of multi-seat proportional representation by single transferable? Vote working out exactly as it's meant to. Or is this sort of a perversion of this? No, it absolutely is a war that they worked exactly as single transferable votes was meant the one last time. The gracious Gerry Gannon. Everybody got their saying everybody got their vote. Don't get me wrong link Hort for twenty eight twenty nine then like there was a huge sense of will show us go maybe back so single transferable vote that they worked against me. But you know, I think walked out perfectly perfectly. I mean, let me just if I get this. Right. There's this woman Maureen who hardly anybody love, she's scores almost no votes as as the favorite. She's just everybody's you know, fourth fifth sixth. I'll choose Maureen and yet because the votes to keep getting shuffled and shoveled in shoveled it's misma- who becomes the winner. She's she's chosen because a lot of people don't her. Yeah. So here's what it makes me think of right. And I had this moment where I was just imagining if we had been using this at various crucial moments in our very recent history things could've gone an entirely different way. Take the American presidential election in two thousand sixteen okay between Hillary Donald Trump Hillary Clinton, but also Gary Johnson and Jill Stein. Voted for them. No. But hardly hardly anybody that number of hardly anybody is that was that's a sizable enough number that they could have swung the election one way or the other. If you look at really key states, the deciding states, if you presume Gary Johnson's votes were split, and if you presume all of Jill signs votes went to Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton would have won Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin and the whole getting caboodle. That's interesting near the weird thing is you can just keep playing this game. And it'll drive you crazy, but you've playing so if you go back to the two thousand sixteen Republican primaries where Donald Trump emerged victorious right over ten people or something like that over ten people. Right. But there was a sizeable number of people in those primaries who were never Trumpers, if those people are unable to block their votes together. They might have been able to rally behind a candidate who is not Donald Trump, and then rewind even further back the two thousand election where the number of votes that Ralph Nader gotten Florida were more than the difference between Bush got and gore got elected elected Republican can you so go back to Ross Perot. Right. George H W Bush was running against Bill Clinton in one thousand nine hundred to Ross Perot. It's very controversial. Whether he really was a spoiler in that election. But I mean, if you ask the Bush people, they say, definitely. Was and so if the Perot is went to Bush, then like Bill Clinton would have just been a historical footnote, he wouldn't have been the president like it's like a huge huge seismic difference in in world history. So when we come back, we're not going to be looking at my own imaginative math. We're going to look at what is ranked choice actually look like if it was in the United States because it is in the United States. Hi, my name is Cory. And I'm from Minneapolis..

"Getting the final sixty with a chance to be Bobby Hurley, an Arizona state and move on to take on the sixty buffalo Friday in the west region. But while the last week, we talked about cheating on Colleen get into college, and again beano crime boss gunned down on Staten Island and build the blouse yo on his way to his hometown. In New Hampshire. All that stuff. You will be inundated this week. And it doesn't matter. Whether you're a big time college basketball fan or not it doesn't matter. Whether you've watched one second of college basketball, all your most of you haven't most people in the studio having everybody gets involved men women kids secretaries bosses, this is it over the next three weeks. This is the most anticipated big. Sports action of the year Super Bowl for one day. But the next three weeks specifically in Las Vegas. There is nothing like it in the country, and it all gets going on Thursday. And we'll have an offer you so welcome to Monday morning on the Bernie and said in the morning show here on seventy seven WABC. Good morning Bernard. Good morning, Sydney. Did you say that Bill de Blasio got wacked on his way to New Hampshire? Yes. Yeah. Same guy that killed Frankie boy county took out Bill the way. I am devastated. He probably felt like he wanted to get wacked. I mean twenty people showed up my guy. Well, he was in a small town come on people the town actually holds I think two hundred twenty people, but nobody wants to see the Blasio. Give me a break. That's his third. Third battle state Iowa, South Carolina, New Hampshire Hake. Stay home pal. Go to work. I think he got the idea. I do I feel like I know they say he's about to make his decision anytime now, but when Kirsten gillibrand outdoors you, and she's pathetic. She has no chance of winning when she calls you anywhere. You got to call it quits, Billie dove. It's the mayor of New York, it's not like that's a lousy position it's humiliating. But but he is a lame duck. And he's got to look to the future. No, he can say his board of his resume and part of the reason why a lot of these people getting in this. I was a candidate in two thousand twenty president. Well, could is if you get to quote Hillary. Donald trump. Saying nothing. I don't know about that. I think I think we'll take it back humiliating defeat is worse than not trying at all. If you don't try it. All you like like, for example, mayor Bloomberg I could beat Donald Trump. But we don't know that. It sounds good. And and maybe he could I do think he's a legitimate threat. But at least you can't say, well, you tried and you got killed like completely withdraw the comet L. Let's move on Baidoa Rourke. Oh, what did he do? I think he he went to Iowa this weekend himself. Yes, he or rock wasn't Iowa this weekend. The great Bego weirdo Aurora. Sometimes I call him camel tollroad, but that's a that's a little silly. But he's just that he's he's a cloudy is a flake. He's a flash in the pan. He's not gonna do anything. He's already apologizing for stuff. That's another another just a waste of time. He's he's Alexandria Cossio Cortez. Maybe without the brains. Yeah. I don't know. But say something about his wife like doing some raising his wife is raising the kids sometimes with my help sometimes. Yeah. That's nice. He's a he's a rich kid. He's a spoiled rich kid and he married his speaking of his wife. He married her. She's an heiress. He married a billionaires daughter and the guy's never had a job in his life except two terms in congress. And he skateboards, oh, I mean Obama didn't do much either before he became president. So while he was a United States Senator. I'll give him that Barack Obama. Yeah. Okay. He was basically a community organizer. What he was a community organizer, basically what he was eight Senator, and he was a United States Senator. I mean, look, I know that we we spend almost every single day just telling everybody this guy's got. No chances guy's a loser. This and that somebody's going to win. I said this last week, Bernie, you kind of laughed about it. But it's true. No. Somebody's going to win me say this somebody will be the democratic. There's no doubt about it. It's not even a question. So we can't go to every single person to has no chance to Biden is no chance. Somebody's got to win. And it's going to be dark tonight. I guarantee you that as well. I have a winner. And it's going to be you say it's going to be talked tonight. But let me tell you bring up somebody who said, I don't have a chance. How is that possible for the affirmation this this roster this lineup? So it's either going to be Sanders or maybe by it's not it's either going to be Sanders or Biden up maybe Biden bike may not win. But it's one of those two guys to save money by a good. But listen, I gotta tell you something. The odds makers in Vegas. Yeah. They have Kamala Harris, that's great black female. They have her. That'll be exciting for about two weeks. It is nine months away before the first primary. I mean, the debates start till June anything can happen. In the meantime, Bernie Sanders could die. He in fact, he had a he had he claims that he he cut his head on some shower board or something like that brings up. We don't want it to tie to too. And I don't know if you heard the breaking news is they arrested his wife coup for slashing him. Bernie just making that up. Shock me completely. Now, she loves she loves them. They they are tight, and they consummate that thing every night. No, they don't you know, they had their honeymoon in Moscow. Yeah. I did know that. Fantastic. Well, the Blasios had there's in Havana, Cuba. Yeah. All communist countries, all that's why they they all socialists, and communists, and the type of people that will not even participate in the college basketball bracket because that's too American for them. Yeah. It it really is to America. It's it's not fixed. Knock everything in right in their system would be right. These are this is actually competitive capitalists type of model. There you go. The cream rises to the top every single time out. Everybody gets a trophy. No. No. No. No. No. No, no, not everybody does prac- ST John's will not be getting a trophy. Well, let's let's let's keep hope alive. You got Chamari Pons. Yeah. That's great. You got Justin Simon. You got Marcus Clarke junior, Greg keep hope alive. You got Figaro. You got Simon. You got a bunch of guys that are good guards. They have no front court. But it is an amazing match up when you consider that Wednesday night. Again, this is a play in game. So Saint John's needs to win just to get the eleven seed to play the university of buffalo who's the sixth seed in the west region. But when you think about these two coaches going head to head on Wednesday night. This was basically my childhood and college basketball, Chris Mullin, the head coach of Saint John's and the old time Duke, great, Bobby Hurley is the coach of Arizona state Chris Mullin versus Bobby Hurley on Wednesday night. Remember, Bobby Hurley sad. That is quite the match up. He was on those great Duke teams with Grant Hill, and Thomas hill and Christian Leitner, all those great teams. And there's your matchup Chris Mullin versus Bobby Hurley on Wednesday night. Are you writing off Saint John's Wednesday night for this plane? I don't know if they even if they get by Zona state, they won't be buffalo. I mean, they ended up with twenty one wins on the season, but they lost four of their last five including a humiliating thirty two point loss to Marquette in the big east tournament. They just look bad. They look bad. Well, not a good team. Maybe they've learned from their losses. Now, they had a really lousy out of conference schedule. Some of this stuff is going to get very inside baseball of the next couple of days. But when you take on teams outside your conference you wanna play a couple of decent teams. Saint John's had one of the worst outta Compton schedules in college basketball this year. So when you couple all of that together, Bernie, that's why usually when you win twenty one games and you play in the big east you're in. You're an eleven seed you're a twelve seed with thirteen seed Saint John's get seen as a very last pick at number sixty eight in a play. They was sweating big time. I was watching it last night. And I kept watching every bracket looking for Saint John's that's all team and the very last bracket. Remember there was a top to bottom. So you got seven brackets are done you down to the eighth and final bracket, and they'll go Saint John's in a play in game. That was nerve wracking. So I own and Fairleigh Dickinson. They got into their automatic bids. Right. I own is going to take on North Carolina the one seed that's their game. Yes. That's a tough one. Say the lease and much FDU has they've got the also the one seed going saga. Both of them, by the way, FDU is not in there like Saint John's they have to beat prairie view, which they will in the play in game just for the right to take on Gonzaga, the one seed in the west region, by the way, that's my pick for the whole tournament, Gonzaga, Gonzaga. I like it Duke they'll make the final four don't give it away just gay. Okay. Take it easy because we've got a really cool sits sports slash party. And sit in the morning bracket challenge. I can't wait. We put it together last night. Matt and your chances out there to win some really cool prizes. I pretty much have cemented nail down. And I can't make the official announcement until we get the rules and Leslie slowly involved. I love it a paid weekend in Atlantic City hard rock for the person who wins this challenge. They'll be other prices along the way, my my views to give out the top five finishers prices, go to my Twitter account at.

"And as I say, you can turn it on or turn it off whenever you want. Route your connection for whatever server you want. Look, there's an added benefit to that. Let's let's say you have a US net flicks subscription, but you are in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. No, let's. Let's say you're an Italy in Rome, and you can't log in to the Italian version of net flicks with your Netflix account. But if you root your connection through a server in Italy, why are you laughing in there? Well, they may not have Netflix Saudi Arabia, depending on they have for the Royal family. They got porn channels. But I don't know for the general public any rate. If you're in Italy, you can route your net flicks connection through an Italian server, and bam all you can watch Netflixing Italy. There's a lot of benefits to this. And there are a lot of VPN's out there now. Trust Norton Volks, Norton, VPN dot com. It's it's actually Norton dot com slash VPN the app store, Android, Google play. Wherever here's Bobby in Wilson, North Carolina. Great to heaven graduated, sir. Hi. Thank you, sir. I just wanna make sure I heard you correctly. You are in agreement with the word with a dirty word diplomacy now when it comes to Trump and the dictator of North Korea. It's okay for Trump to use diplomacy. But Barack Obama was destroyed by publican into diplomacy. I'm trying to figure out what is the difference? The big difference is very simple question. I'm very glad to get the question. Obama was giving away the United States. Obama was making deals to benefit our enemies like Iran, Trump's not doing that. Are you people really this dance? I I may be giving I don't mean to be insulting here. I I may be giving you all more credit. You may not be the hardcore anti-american leftist that I think you are you may just be ignorant. For rock. Obama was enabling the Islamic Republic of Iran to secure nuclear weapons and gave them a hundred and fifty billion dollars in cash flown in on the tarmac. For crying out loud. That'd be the equivalent of Ronald Reagan giving the Soviet Union Star Wars. Donald Trump is not powering around with dictators. He's trying to tame them and defeat them and limit their damage and potential danger to the United States. Barack Obama was becoming friends with them. I do not understand. I I think I've been giving a lot of people way too much credit. Well, let's move on here. Massapequa New York Long Island. His name's not jackass. Why did you put that up there? Okay. Well, any whoever you are. Greetings, welcome to the network right grading. It says Jonathan equal. Jonathan jonathan. I'm glad you called, sir. Thank you. Yeah. I mean after getting your year, very rude. I got an answer the phone anyway. So rush, the are, you know, I know there was a lot of Ghazi. I mean now the Republicans are doing the same thing the collusion. But I mean, do you honestly think in your heart that the meeting at Trump Tower, which they changed her story three or four times was about adoption a new president coming in all of a sudden wants to adopt from Russia. No, no last. That's the last. No, that's a I don't think Trump. No. I think that the Russians secured a meeting with the Republican presidential nominee under the guise of having on Hillary Clinton when what they wanted was action on an adoption policy. They disagreed with. So you really think about adoption that he hasn't even been in office a couple of weeks. And it's about an adoption is it wasn't in office has happened when he was a candidate. Okay, or candidates? Well, no, I I don't think the Trump Tower meeting had anything to do with Trump being an agent of Russia. I that's such a stretch. I I can't believe that you really believe. That's what that what you honestly think that Trump is a Russian agent. Do you actually think that I didn't say I believe it? But I'm saying that they changed the story three or four times. But it ended up being they said they were discussing adoptions from Russia. The russians. There was a Russian act of deceit. The meeting was put together under the guise. And I'll tell you who put it together. Glenn simpson. Fusion GPS who has links to the dossier arranged the meeting and the meeting ostensibly. Hey, hey, Donald Trump junior. We've got dirt on Hillary Donald Trump junior's. Wow, cool. Okay. We'll take the meeting they get there. And they wanna talk about the Magnitsky act, which has to do with abortion and the Russian honeypot valid net sky. It wasn't about dirt with Hillary. They didn't have any. It wasn't about facilitating Trump being a Russian agent. It was it was a meeting that was meant to make people like you think that Trump was a Russian agent, but it wasn't. There isn't any evidence that Trump was a Russian agent. There isn't any evidence. The Russians had anything to do with the election results. There's none not even Rosenstein says there is. Right. All right. Okay. Does that mean? I know he hasn't changed his mind. He just he just doesn't. He doesn't know what? Rush Limbaugh America is listening. On the EIB network. News ninety five. "Fifty four and it's headed up by an Davis, who's Karl dean's wife, and what it is is our specific voter outreach to women now getting back to Bredesen's what Bredesen's what I would have done. If I was advising the Bredesen's campaign. I would say what you have to focus on where the Democrats are gonna win. This election is really with women, and it's two fold getting African American women out because they've become the most dependable voters within the Democratic Party getting African American women voters out and figuring out the messing around white females because as you may know care why females at the end of the election. They supported Donald Trump. Right. They didn't support Hillary Donald Trump won the white female vote. And I've always said this, and it kind of hurts me to say because I'm a big Hillary Clinton fan. White females just in. Like her. They don't like Hillary and they've not like Hillary for a long time because there's a disconnect between white females and Hillary Clinton, if if you talk to a white female about Hillary Clinton, they either love her or they hate her. And that's about some Democrats so one thinning Hillary kidding. 'cause I was gonna get to her Yeah. Okay. We'll get back. We'll get. But my thing back to the Brotherston campaign. What's they should've been doing it seeing what does our messaging do for why females because if you get black females in your column, and you get a significant majority of white females that wouldn't care about what the men do. Because that at the end of the day is gonna care you over the finish line. When you look at all of this stuff with Barack Obama and his victories in every state that he won at the end of the day. It was the female vote that carried him over. It was a female vote. The that helped him clobber Romney in Florida. You think well, how did it black man be, you know, Mitt Romney in Florida? It was the female vote is female vote and Michelle you're right, Alabama. Another example. With lutely. I it's funny. You say that because I'm had into Georgia this weekend. And it's a it's a black female group higher Heis. And we're supporting of course, they Abrahams and Lucy bath. So you're right. And they're black women from around the country that'd be there to support her. So. So you right after. So if I were if I were Phil Bredesen's, I would be looking at all black female organizations. I would make sure I was that sigma gamma role conferences. Delta commerce is kind of aka conferences, one hundred black women. Our have I would have one person assigned to African American women outreach, you know, and that's their job all day long is getting Bresson information to all black females and the state of Tennessee because if you can lock that down Matt you can leap over to your messaging with white women, and then you can just work that because they're gonna be more women coming to the polls than men. That's true. That's say to something that was to talk about the the national climate for a second and going back to what you were saying about the students locally that are having a bus. So. One of the when I guess one of the things that that's happened. I don't think I know one of the things happening is voter suppression. So you have the voter suppression issue happy with the prairie state students in debt and Texas. You have now functioning voting machines minute standing in Texas where people are going into vote and the machine is giving saying one candidate they vote for democratic and machine says the Republican candidate, and they don't know if they can they say, they can't fix it before the actual election day, and the voters that the votes that have been miscounted they don't know if they'll be able to to take that. And then you got the thing enjoyed you with the exact match policy and holding of absentee ballots. So what do you I probably? I know the answer. But what do you attribute to what's happening around the country as far as the motor voter suppression efforts are concerned. My overriding thought about that is this. You know, sometimes I use a lot of sports analogies with things because that's just a way for me to process explaining things better. But when it comes to voter suppression Hughes, what progressives liberals Democrats always see voter suppression. It's always playing defense and not playing offense by what by that..
