"Worst? Valentine's Day experience? Well, love to hear from you as we move throughout the program. Lee is up next here. Hey Lee. Hey, Paul, thanks for taking my call. Thank you. And I just want to ask you something. I know this problem. I know there's probably not a possibility. But you know, rivalries are usually born because the geographic proximity close to correct. Correct. Usually. Why don't they, how great would it be if the SEC like had the pod had the three permanent rivals and non rotate but now the three permanently they made it all geographic like one would be more Georgia over now family will be staying in Oklahoma, Missouri, there will be LSU Arkansas, Mississippi state and the fourth will be south Carolina. Some Tennessee Vanderbilt Kentucky with the BB possibility of something like that happening. It's possible, but I think I don't know how the process is working. Other than I think everyone has a wish list. And most of that, by the way, most of those wishlists involve proximity and tradition. So if you did that, you'd have to get a map out and start figuring out who's closest to whom and where would you land? Would that be the right way of doing it? I mean, I think right now they're going to try to go through it at least with two natural rivals in the past. And that Alabama and Tennessee have played one of the biggest games of the year for 80 years, except they aren't that close to each other. State and Alabama are true. I think if you look at the SEC, Mississippi state and Alabama are probably closer to each other than any other two schools. I mean, there are about an hour, maybe about 60 miles apart, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I think ultimately they'll try to do that, but in today's world, the proximity is not the most important thing. It's finding fair and equitable rivals. Hey, thank you for the call. I do appreciate it. Let's check in with Bobby and Oxford, Mississippi. Hey, Bobby. Hey, Paul. Happy Valentine's. Thank you. Quick story and it's going to lead into my question. I'll make it as brief as possible to give me a little latitude. Sure. All right. So my uncle Roy cough, are you familiar with Dallas or Holland fork? Yes, of course. All right. Well, my uncle was mayor of public park, his dad created part, but he was the attorney for the Dallas Cowboys for a long time and then him and roger stole back went into business together and sold the company for like 600 million. Crazy number. But so I would go obviously. But my brother goes to Texas because. Around with my uncle is very far now, but he's like we have more taxes, obviously, is Texas. He says, we have more money than any school in the whole country. He said, it is a major boost for obviously, but so leading into my question, how do you think that's going to affect these? Because the taxes boosters and loans are just going to double down not that they're necessary. And do you believe that facts a little bit? Texas has the biggest boosters. And B, do you think that now that SEC that could just outspend? Well, no, Bobby, I don't think they've had the most money in every league. They've ever been in, but always doesn't translate to wins. I mean, they're successful in many respects, but Texas needs continuity more than it needs more money. They've always had the money. Mac is up next. Hey Mac. Matthew there? Yes, chaplain Mack. Chaplin, go right ahead. Yes, sir. Hey, Paul, how you doing? Matt, we're doing great. Thank you. Oh, that's good. I just wanted to tell you all talking about the worst Valentine's Day. Well, I think I'm having the best one. I've ever had today. My wife, Kathy and I are spending our 50th Valentine's Day together. We're about to be married 50 years, march 2nd. Oh, that is fantastic. She went out. She went out and bought me the Valentine's Day gift of all she got us two tickets on the floor of that auburn tonight against Missouri. And I'm excited about it. I got to have the best wife in the world. That is that's incredible. If you had said, what do you think the best gift would be? I don't know if I were to come up with that one, but were you not an album fan, Paul? I'm an open back. I would love to talk about that. Yes, sir. Well, I love auburn. War ego, chaplain Mack. Best gift ever. Take us on the floor for tonight's Missouri auburn game. Happy Valentine's Day to both of you. That's 50 years of marriage. There are a lot of jokes you could inject in there, but congratulations to both of you. We will take a break. We'll talk about the monken departure. What it means to the dogs trying to repeat Seth Emerson around the corner. Thank you for listening to the Paul fine bomb show podcast, the Paul fine bomb show airs weekdays on the SEC network beginning at three eastern.

"You should know this about me. I don't put up with boys. And when you kick back, it hurts them more if you're wearing heels. Hey Lee's main pitch is that at 51 she's leading a new generation of leadership for the Republican Party that she says is in desperate need of a fresh face. Haley was the ambassador to the UN under former president Trump, who has already announced his own run. Neighbors and Hanover parks that they heard several gunshots Monday morning before a 41 year old woman's body was found with a bullet wound to the head in an alley between a subdivision and a townhouse complex just before 8 30 a.m.. "You got a planner that would tell you to bring a change of clothes, then then you'll be fine. And you can jump in wherever in the ocean, and a pond, do whatever you want, as long as you can change. I feel like yeah, but there's kind of a problem here. Pool you have chlorine. Pond you have. Fish. Fish. Gross. Well, it's just like algae. And then you could have seaweed and sand. If you were. I mean, that has to be tough to get out of dress. Yeah, well, it's a bad experience for all of them. But it just depends on what you're looking for. You could just have people have a fake bouquet toss bouquet for that. So they can keep their original. You can have a jumping in the water dress. People do that. They'll change out of their ceremony dress, get into another outfit, jump in some water, get back out and then change into comfy or close for the rest of the night. So it depends on how planned out what this is. There's was not planned out. At all. This was on a whim. I was in the kitchen. Cleaning up all the stuff. And she just goes, hey, Lee's, we're gonna jump in the pool. And I was like, what? You're gonna do what? And I just ran. And I grabbed the photographer and I ran. And that's what we did, and we ran to the pool. And we got everybody around them. And we count it down. And then they jumped in. And some uncles and cousins jumped in after them, and it was a grand old time. Did you believe they were actually going to jump in or were you just like, all right, we're going to do this. Oh, yeah. They were just that couple. Yeah, they were just like, we're going in the pool. Okay. Sounds good. So we went to the pool. And everybody watched them all jump in.

"Flag. All right, gotcha Charlie. Thank you so much. Well, talk about Houston. There's a problem. FedEx shares, as you know, we've been talking about how they have tumbled today down. The most in over 40 years after pulling its earnings forecast on worsening business conditions, a potentially worrying sign for the global economy. And I think about this kind of story 24 hours ago, Tim essentially we just started to break down this. And I wondered about analysis, especially when it comes to our Bloomberg intelligence team. Yeah, let's do it now. Yeah, really eager to speak to Lee Glasgow, senior transport logistics and shipping analyst for Bloomberg intelligence, Lee joins us this afternoon via Zoom from a Bloomberg intelligence headquarters in at Princeton, New Jersey. Lee, good to have you with us. We were really itching to get you on to talk all about this this afternoon. I think the question that Carol has sort of rhetorically earlier was about whether this is a company specific story if it's FedEx specifically because we're seeing it way on certainly other sectors and peers within the sector. But take us into what exactly the concern is that FedEx has. Yeah, so what I would say is a company specific yes and is there a read through for the rest of the broader economy a little and why we say that is that in the release, the company mentioned the fact that there are some service challenges in Europe and we view that as mostly dealing with the TNT integration. Coupled with the fact that Europe is I'm sure you're all aware that Europe's having some problems with inflation due to high energy costs and that's having a major impact in demand. The risk of Europe going into a recession or if they're not in a recession already is a lot higher than here in the U.S.. And that is probably driving some of the weakness that we saw and express express revenues came in 5% below expectations for the first quarter when they pre announced yesterday. And then the margins that they showed the adjusted operating operating margins were about 1.7%, which is very low relative to history. Historically, it's been around about 5 to 6% and so you've seen a real step down in margins. And it probably has to do with higher costs. With the inflationary aspects that we were talking, lower demand and some integration problems at TNT. And for certain background T and T was an acquisition they made in 2016 and they did it so they could be more competitive in Europe with UPS and Deutsche post. There's still third when it comes to Europe, but there are a lot closer to the number two UPS in Europe now. But the problem was in 2017, there was a huge cyberattack on TNT, which rendered it pretty much useless. And if it wasn't for FedEx is capital, the company probably wouldn't be around today. And then that coupled with a couple of management missteps will call them really slow the progress of integrating TNT and then we had a pandemic and that through wrench and everyone's business model. And so we just think that the benefits, if any are really going to be kicked down the road as management tries to properly resource its network in the U.S. and in Europe. Hey Lee, what does this mean for the company's new CEO who took over just in June? Inherited this and just trying to make it right or is this maybe a first big stumble? Yeah, so, you know, roger marine, he's became the CEO and president in June, also Richard Smith became the CEO of express in April, so they're relatively new, shall we say to the role, but they've been long time managers in the organization. What I would say that's very different than what we're seeing at FedEx versus UPS in 2020, UPS got a new CEO, Carol tome. And she was on the board, but you know, people were a little skeptical about her because most of UPS senior managers were always used to be able to say that my first job was when I was in college, loading and unloading UPS trucks. And I've been there forever. And so she was like not quite an outsider, but kind of an outsider. And she's really done a phenomenal job. She's so she's been selling off on profitable businesses. She sold their less than truckload business off to TFI. They're really focused on what they're calling a better not bigger strategy, which really seems to be paying off. And UPS had a sell side event on September 9th. And then call out any glaring issues. They actually reiterated their 2022 guidance. And that's why we think it's mostly a company specific issue for FedEx versus the broader economy. We'd be a naive to think yes, growth has slowed over the last three months. But also FedEx has more of exposure in China. And the zero tolerance policy of the Chinese government due to COVID have really restricted economic activity there. And that's gone on longer than I think most of us have would have wanted or thought. And that's also something weighing on FedEx's business as well. Just want to throw out some numbers, looking at the DES page on the Bloomberg, when you look at FedEx U.S. 2022 rev, almost 65 billion international was almost 29. If you pull up UPS, U.S. is about 74 billion international is about 23. So that speaks really to your point. So I mean, when we think about UPS, that's more of a U.S. play, domestic play. Yeah, and when I was also a new PS UPS one integrated network. So they have an express in domestic business. But when someone delivers a package to your house, it's not a separate

Gee, the hen occurred to me. Thank you. Turns out all I need was parenting advice from a random unmarried guy with no children. I take it, you have. Everyone wants to put him on Ritalin or Adderall or zoloft or some goddamn thing to unplug his brain. I'm not doing that to him. He's a good kid who just misses his dad, and that's it. Yeah, I'm sure he does, but maybe. They know what they're talking about? No, they don't. You know how I know? I'll do a double dance for the single price. Ken turned down a bargain like that. Come on. Come on. You like that? I think you do. Pretty good, huh? Concentrate on him. Let's just get this over with, okay? Lee loves his brandy. Drink your brandy in. So good. You okay, baby? What's wrong? Oh my God. Oh my God. You went to jumbos. Are you a relative of that idiot? No, thank you. She's a friend of mine. I'm not even that. What the fuck happened? He thought he was having a heart attack. Cool, was he? No. What was it? Indigestion. Very severe indigestion to be clear. That bacon and flexion is meeting. It's just wasn't used to it. If you're all finished laughing at my serious medical affliction, can we get out of here? I'm not finished, but yeah, come on. Shows overdose. Need a puppy's stomach. Set? Wait, that's. Hey, come on. Wait, I know that guy. From the suicide group, Eric, a, Eric. He's in good hands. So you are in like a bunch whereas like a crowded bunch. Whereas a ton of talent and I think America's waiting for one of you to break through, like, you, usua, hey Lee, Whitney, that group is like the next wave of American players. What do you think? When you look at, you know, the wave of Canadians, right? Or some of the French, or there's somebody a check players. What do you think your group needs to take the next step? Yeah, that's a really good question. You do see a lot of Canadian a young Canadians young younger Europeans come up. And we have been stuck between that 102 hundred and we haven't really pushed past that. I think that my move to hire my own coach hire my own physical trainer was a big first step for me because I was with the USDA for four years. So taking it step by step, I guess, was a really good thing to, I guess start that push. But I don't know our games are all so different. We all come from so many different places that I think just focusing on our game and what we can do better is best, especially physically. Like if we can all physically be dominant and really commit to our games, I think we can push past that hundred and further. So you've had a great career, play world team tennis. Doubles finals. You've made enough money now. To make some good purchases. Yeah. So I talked to D.C. about her purchases, right? You know, things that you regret think she overspent on. "We had the disease in zoology. We had to do this assignment where you got to put together these complex tables. And I just could not do it and use these beautiful young girl who was an expert on computers, and she just helped me. So that's how we met. Here I was swearing at a computer. I couldn't figure out how to use it, so 25 years later, I still call her on saying, hey Lee, can you just help me with these technical thing and just roll the eyes at me? And here we go again. So yeah, that's how that's literally how we met over a computer because I was frustrated with it. And then yeah, just went from there. So it was good. Yeah. Awesome, awesome. It's fascinating where we meet our partners. And hey, you know, officer it's a tractor. And things you must be good at others. So where did it go from those that, you know, interesting times of studying zoology? Where did you go from there? Well, I actually got a scholarship to do a PhD. So we did our honors and what was cool was you get paid some money and stuff like that to do that. But I realized very quickly in science, unfortunately, so we're definitely my wife Liz she's from the country as well. And we both want to live out in the country. And that's why we thought you zoology that's pretty cool. But we realized very quickly, it doesn't work that way. If you're going to be a zoologist, you pretty much stuck in the city in a lab or something and you can go out into areas, but the main thing is you always scratching around for money for funding and grants and stuff. And I grew up in a family way of money was pretty taught, and I always had a goal to be rich one day to be successful. I didn't know how to do it. I had no idea at the time I didn't know any millionaires or anything like that or any business people, just farmers and stuff. And so I realized well, he's not going to cut it. So we got into our first business while I was at uni when I got that scholarship and I gave the money back, I said, I'm going to quit literally quit pretty quickly. Basically 6 months into my PhD. And then Liz she quit hers as well to come and join me in the business. And we were hooked on day one. So we had we got in this weird little business we're out in the country as my parents found it, and we got we had some family support and also lizard had a inheritance, not a big one, but a bit of a payout there. And so we used every last scent we had to go into this bloody business. And we knew nothing about no one in my family knew about it. We didn't know how to value it. And this is, I think the biggest lesson for your audience Simon and I love what you do is this is what drives us now. We got given the wrong advice. It's kind of like you putting yourself out there your ideas, your voice, and the great thing is we're diving toward their love, and I'm learning so many things, even though it's when the actors in in the project going back and In the impact of the show had over the last 15 years. Um and really driving into the themes and just reminiscing with some old friends and telling some stories. It's been quite an adventure so far, and I look forward to the Things are going to be doing. I consider myself fortunate in that I do voice work and radio is voice work. But Janet during the pandemic, I imagine your voice work has not even slowed down a bit. You know, that is something that has been really great for both Dante and me is having you know, almost a different fingers and different pies because that's just kind of a weird metaphor. But I think to have said it any way I didn't look, I didn't come up just out there. It's just floating out there in the ether. What you know we're both. We're both You know, we're both creative folks. And Dante and one of our recent interviews did, uh, express how inquisitive we both are, which I thought was really apt thing to say. We both Have this curiosity, and we love exploring different stuff. And And so one of the nice things about that is that you're not always waiting for the phone to ring if you if you've got these different things going on in voice work. During a pandemic that was was a real lifesaver. Not just, you know, for, you know, paying the rent paying the mortgage but also get staying connected with people you know, getting to still work go to work in a sense. Even if you can't be in the same room with someone, Um and and that's that's That's nothing to to take for granted. Because I think actors, especially air of such social people, and we we feed off of each other. You know, we have We have options, and we need those connections to kind of like everybody, you know, just to feel like a human being. Janet Varney is with us, Dante Bosco as well. They do the voices of Am Atar the last airbender and are hosting the podcast Avatar, Braving the elements, Dante, you've done both in front of the camera. And now the voice work. Do you do a lot of difference? Method when you're when you're creating a voice character rather than a real live character. No, I mean for me, you know, they've been very fortunate to get into the voice acting world, but because I come from, uh, on camera like Barney. I mean, my voice when I When I When I act on voice over stuff, it's really just me. I really do the same work leak. It's really just the same character work trying to be honest in the moment to help tell the story from you know, from my character's point of view, so whether it is a camera or microphone in the room. I'm really just I'm really just doing the same performance. What about you, Barney? Yeah, well, don't And I like to joke that you know, we play these characters on the last airbender and legend of Cora, who throw punches and kicks and bend elements And, um, boy, you'd think when you look at us in those voiceover studios standing in front of microphones that we would actually believe we had those powers because we are throwing punches and trying not to kick over music stands and chairs. And everyone's just laughing at us. Because we do not have those powers I got. I got a little firebending. Hello, Fuck. You know, one of these days. One of these days I got to be at my think, And I think it's good Turn on from my my own mind and my movements, my hand movements I'm not going to ever have to touch the fuck Janet Varney, Dante Bosco and the podcast is avatar braving the elements and you can find that where you can find the Lee later with Lee Matthews podcast. And that's a Katie okay dot com or on the I Heart radio app..

"Is getting weirder and stranger and everybody I know is like Yeah, this'd is gonna take a while. Tao Ski went to town on this on on social media trying to explain what's going on with the ammo. Stephen Gutowski. I don't know if you know him or not. Strong to a guy. Me. I'm Tony Katz Tony Cats today so you can go to the reload dot com and learn more about this nine millimeter 556 very high demand, And, according to the president of Winchester and Hornet ease, these are big makers of Amma. This could last another 2 to 3 years. This ammo shortage could last another 2 to 3. The years. So I had the opportunity. Tonto pick up a a firearm, a semiautomatic of 40 caliber. Right? That's that's not in every day, right? Nine millimeters and every day, and I don't think the price was too bad, but try and find ammunition for 40 caliber. I was looking. I went online because I couldn't find stores that had it. Ah 1000 rounds $760 this from ammo man dot com. Now. Maybe there are other places I could look. The point is that 76 cents around Hey, Lee cow and when you look at nine millimeter Nine millimeter was selling at 22 cents. Now it's selling for a buck around. It's not only supply and demand going on it's Gutowski references but about material costs specifically the cost of copper. Copper was $2.45 a pound a year ago, and it's 4 50 today, so that's nearly double prices are gonna go up. Zinc has gone out of steel has gone up. So there are a lot of reasons so one of the things that he suggest is a summer is a slow season for ammunition. I'm not actually sure why. I've been trying to figure out what I can't do. People go on vacations, whatever this, but if if you do not see ammunition prices coming down and stockpiles coming up Your local gun store in July August. Well, then, you know, like a like a What? What is it? That Beaver who sees it's Shadow Beaver? It's a possum. Are you serious? That goes about its ground on. That's I don't know what it was. It was. It was a furry rodents. I took a couple of shots at it like like that, saying it shadow you'll know you're you'll be in for a long 23 years. I mean, it's it's actually it's actually frightening when when you look at it, you know, years ago I know I should have learned Tonto it myself because you couldn't buy re loaders. Right. There's a whole system that you could do. You could make your own right. I.

Hey look we just need you to put this over o. K. and i'm not reviewing the slight. You're not gonna even actually give me the product. So i can actually review it by. We'll soap with that. Look if you just asked me straight up from a distance. What do i ultimately happening here. I ultimately see sonya deville reigning supreme over both brands. That's what i see ultimately happening. I see adam pearce being written out. Now some of you guys may be wondering. Okay so what exactly does that mean for. Adam pearce are you seeing. Maybe adam pearce having a match hero there as you know under the. Wwe umbrella for that to happen. For adam pearce. I would love for the man to have a couple of matches their in. Wwe i i would. Hey, Lee, so that it's so lovely of you to be an ongoing member and then step it up a little bit. That really does do do us great. We're honored by your commitment and you know what the educational side of this organization has to be the best kept secret. How much we do for students and now how much we do for parents who are having to become teachers. "You've you've figured out what adrian kempe is. Identity is stop tinkering with it but once again proving that i have no business being in. Nhl coach and the article does adrian campaign seems to have unlocked himself and andrzej but there and alexai follow because honestly through the first three or four games of the things i would have said was gosh. I haven't really noticed. I follow that much. He didn't seem to be playing the same game that he had established himself in his first two seasons hounding the puck going into the coroner's creating turnovers sort of creating havoc and chaos. Doing all those little things and over the last let's say eighty to ninety minutes of play It feels like we've got alex. I follow back So it's that's the whole. Yeah i mean that's the whole he takes awhile and listen by no means. Is alexander follow a rookie. But by no means the vat and it's going to take some time because his whole nhl career he's played with brown and copen tar essentially so it's understandable that he might need a little bit more time to get chemistry with with the other wringer in drian campaign in so far. It's slowly trickling into his game. All the sudden gets on the board and his school didn't come. You know technically a five on five co petar Alexai of follow adrian. Bay wine score But hey all it takes is one to go in to get a lot to get some confidence in you. And it'll be interesting to see when they head to minnesota. If you alexai follow can start becoming a little bit. More of a factor around the puck like adrian campaign has when he got moved up to that line as well in a one thing that i feel like i did get right. The listed a bunch of things. That i got it wrong so far but one thing i feel like i feel like i got right when they acquired only mada i said to myself and out loud somewhere i said. Okay that means. They must feel confident that the tobias bureau and foot is ready to go because i looked at all only modest career. Hadn't paid a ton of you know confess. I didn't watch eighty two penguins games every season. And i certainly didn't watch every chicago blackhawks game last year but i looked at how many minutes played and i looked at his career and i talked to some people that had watched him. And i said okay well. It doesn't seem to me that only modest the first pair defense that that is not a critical statement right. Like i love sean walker. I love matt roy. Neither of those guys. Oh no it's not and to be honest. Slowly matas never been first pair. Defenseman defense exhaust wasn't in chicago. Was the knin pittsburgh at all. They have guys named chris. "We had Shawn O'Hara join us on the show earlier in the hour, actually last hour now. And I had asked John O'Hare about the NFC Championship game. He played it in 2007 frigid Lambeau Field. That was the breakfast bar of final game as a Packer. That was Lawrence Tynes, kicking them to the Super Bowl. And over time that was the red face of Ah frozen Tom Coughlin. That's the famous photo of that Packer fan with the giant mustache and beard that an icicles forming on his mustache and beard, apparently a combination of both snot and Miller Lite. So that was a very memorable NFC championship game. So we were talking to Sean O'Hair about that and his memories of that, because now he works for the NFL network. Just how incredibly dramatic and froze it. He was. And I said, summarized, Do you remember where you were when you watch that game? That's one of those instant classics Overtime. Lambo frozen Field missed Field goals, Farms final game interception in overtime. Arrested. Yes, I remember very well because ah girl I was seeing at the time. The authorities called me because she didn't picked up on shoplifting. And I said, there's no way I'm going to come pick you up. It's the Giants of the NFC Championship game, and she was left to her own devices as a high schooler who apparently stolen some underwear from Cole's department store. Turns of that turns out to that girl that he was dating. Was Danielle, his wife. Because you would first frame that as yes. Somebody I was seeing. And I'm like you've never told a story about dating anybody. Besides Danielle, So I thought that that was curious that you had framed that way. And then you had said, Yeah, that was my soon to be wife. And Nobody can believe that you've admitted this. Anywhere from our listeners on Twitter on Facebook, etcetera, and nobody can believe this. Everybody is wondering why you would do such a thing. Hawaiian Tony Danza tweets. Instead of the year of the before, Let's change it to the year of the snitch, since Morales has delivered to major announcements with wedding Fart Gate and the cold shoplifting fiasco. Come on. Rob also says It was nice knowing you, Sean Hashtag rest in peace. More as hashtag. Nice to know you. So, whereas how are you doing once Danielle found out that you had uncovered this little Jab. I think I was doing okay until the smart speakers. Definitely playing upstairs is my wife feeds my daughter breakfast and that teas at the end of the last segment. Really caused and P could tell you because he could hear all the ruckus down the line cause some commotion from my wife screaming, explicit IBS about how she has a job. She can't lose and I had to try to calm her and say this was 2007. You're a teenager. You didn't get arrested. You didn't and in on also funny story than it's. My mother doesn't know this story. You really did this that the other thing. Mork curse words more slamming the door in which I had to turn to peak is I could know it was very loud. Pete, did you hear that? He goes. Oh, I got it. So there's a lot happening back here and I am scared for my life right now. Please. Somebody find help. So you thought telling a story that Danielle's parents didn't know about her committing a crime? You thought that might just go over quickly smoothly this morning in the morass household Not that I thought, But what can we just Because I want this on the record cause she might be listening upstairs in sports speaker. I did not. Wake up this morning going. You know what? I can't wait today to rat out Danielle for 14 years ago. A thievery like that's not what happened. I didn't even know you were throw to me on a question of the NFC champs. You came on O'Hara. You talked about memories and remembering everything. And I always tell you what I ate this cotton Katie trip home and everything and it's It's a distinct memory I have from the game and one that I think now in 2021, we can laugh about because you know nothing bad happened. My wife's been a wonderful humanitarian, helpful to a lot of people. She stole a couple dollar pairs on the way and got nabbed. All right, and, Oh, no things just got she Isn't that like humanitarian? Heard that What stuff Just got wing down the stairs. Guys. I I'm gonna cut this off. So Danielle just threw things down the stairs at you. I think there are multiple laundry baskets and books, and I don't know if that picked up on Mike. But there's a lot of other books aren't for you. Yeah, books or to the capitated. You actually, really We can laugh about something and know that nothing come of it. But I don't know that we could laugh about it, guys. So, just checking on me on Sunday night if you don't get the topic list, you know well Look. Yes, we've all had our stupid indiscretions. But we usually don't have somebody else. Dig them up on the radio. And especially, you know, Would you like it rest? If Danielle just jumped on the show, or DJ Tommy d or some of the new you from the past. I guess DJ Tommy. Yes, Tommy Dee, really? I've been knowing him forever. Just started talking about all your indiscretions or something that your parents didn't know about on the radio. When you were 15 years old time out, basically did happen, Mr Six that I spit on him in a flag football game when I was younger, So I have had that happen. There have been moments of people like you can't believe this. Again is usually you sell yourself out. You're the one that admits toe loop sees and taking your shirt off and all that like this is this is you all right, quick straw poll here before I totally get an island. Would you guys say? A story of somebody as a teenager doing something stupid and shoplifting, but knowing that 14 years later, it's not a big deal is a funny story to tell in relation to me not getting off my ass to help them. They're gonna under C championship game were released. Admit that that's funny content. It is harmless contents. It is certainly funny because it provides perfect context. The New York Giants are playing in a playoff game. Your would be wife is in trouble, and you leave her with the authorities in your word to quote rot. Because you've got a football game to watch. It says everything about how we think about you. Yes, really funny context Was you talking about how we don't get classic NFL games anymore?.

Nintendo Voice Chat
Age of Calamity Is a Hyrule Warriors Sequel and a Breath of the Wild Prequel
"And welcome to Nintendo voice ITN's Nintendo podcast. I'm your host Casey Freedom in this week I'm joined by Brian Tano. Hey, Lee. Back on that from games come. Hey what's up? Hairstyle. So here. I am also here I'm also here well, I got I got busted I was still working when the show started. So a lot of people will see what I look like when I'm typing emails. I. See. Her. But this week, we will be talking about higher warriors age of calamity, how we really feel about Super Mario Three D all-stars being limited release in ramifications behind that move and of course about how much it costs but I believe the obviously the biggest news this week I mean besides some other big news but we don't really care about that on the show is higher warriors age calamity. Is Coming on November twentieth. Your. Game. I mean in it comes out the day after Cyberpunk I'm not happy about that. Yeah that seems like a mistake. Yeah. So I will I will say that like this was this was a surprise for sure right like this is in a in a year full of things leaking constantly. This was pretty awesome surprised to find that there's essentially a prequel to breadth of the wild coming to Nintendo switch. If, I just defined as that than. Most excited man in the world but this is a game in from tecmo Koei. It is a a warrior style game akin to hurry warriors and viral. Euros is that was called. which is Great. If you wait is it let's get that. Right? Is it heroes the one on the phone or is heroes the one? I ever warriors is the one on on. Okay I see you out there. Firing them sub. Read it. Relax. We got it. Right. Thank you. Thank you for having my back on that one pair your. That's happening. You saw. WanNa drought. Running back if you wanna see pair absolutely roast Brian Yeah No, you totally left me at the dry there. You're know if I ever move on a call Atkins accent come over and helping move and not you because you were not close friends. Resent. It is really difficult to keep the names of the warriors franchise straight right they. They're all of these games are so different in name. Yet they're all part of the warriors. Franchise. Dynasty. High rule yet and Hans maybe the fire emblem game is called find bloom heroes. Okay No, it's warriors. Okay. Let's move on. Somebody offer discord call. I WanNa worry a warriors game. So I from what I've been seeing overall people have been accepting this overall positively I think if this was part of a bigger directs I, think people would have seen the beginning of this thought it was brought to the while to and then been kind of like. Hey. Can I don't know taken by surprise? It's not what they're expecting but because they were upfront, it was a standalone announcement. It's able to kind of shine on its own and not to be in the shadow of what people really really wrong because now it's just a cool bonus. I understand why they did it the way that they did, but I have to say that. Having our Numa start this statement by. We know that people have been waiting for news about breath of the wild for a very long time. It's so cruel what A. Roller coaster of emotions man that was like Oh. My God Oh, I see I see. I, for some reason I did not I was not expecting any news on Zelda and so when he appeared I'm like Cool Zelda pick cross or something right? Like he I instantly when I saw him I somehow instantly knew it was going wasn't going to be the the sequel but I thought they handled the announcement really well, you know they set the set the stage saying it's GonNa be a while until you hear more information about the next game, but here's something to you over and. You know like I played the last Jairo Warriors, fired it up the you know. Yesterday and played a bunch with my daughter and it's like these games are good. We gave them seven Slat think Casey you reviewed one right. So Jose reviewed the original gave it a seven I. reviewed the definitive edition on the switching. Gave it a seven point five for good I know that our scale doesn't. Follow that anymore. But if I had to either up down, I, would honestly probably bump it up to an eight down to a seven. I, think the amount of content in that game is astounding even though it is kind of repetitive I mean it's Musso game for Games, Dynasty Warriors. You're just fighting hordes of enemies, but with highrise finish edition you you got like thirty one characters and right off the bat you had sixteen to choose from, and then on top of that, the story is actually. Even, completely off the wall in bonkers ridiculous. It was still pretty There's a to it and there are a lot of really interesting. man I'm drawing a blank cut scenes that kind of gave more personality to allow the characters and they brought characters from all of the different Zelda game. So I really enjoyed it and on top of that, you got a regular legends. Zelda map to explore where you could. There's a lot to go read the rape. Yeah, it's an. replaying it I. I was struck by how much fun it is. It is fun to just kinda slash these hordes of enemies and like get bigger specials and you know switching between characters unlocking more. There is a there's a lack of the final tweak and finish that Zelda Games known for right like just even the way the camera fields is just super. Janki to me like by default he can tweak a lot in this game, which is great. Right? Like everything just is a little Jane he still. Including the whole like I've mentioned this before it sometimes feels like a Zelda imposture thing you look at the characters saying something is wrong with the way they. Look and all of that but as a silly. Game it works and then case you exactly right. It's like this game is all about volume. It's all about like hordes of enemies and it's all about hordes of rewards like when you finish level, it's almost like this like giant treasure chest monster comes forward and just barth items out it's just like you. Blew. You finish a level has just list after list of these things in you hitting the button to get through all of them right? which is completely different from Zelda game where it's like you find the hook shot and it's like this momentous occasion that's you over the next two hours. Like to me Zelda has always been about I think most people about you know exploration
