Mariah Carey out some right? Carries hustle. Wasn't do the acting. You know, it was just like I just have to have the voice wants the voice doesn't do. What you expect it to do? Can't imagine it's devastating and she could win Houston never did drugs or smoke. She would sound the exact day the voice, obviously matures, but she had such great technique pad to the bell salons amazing. It's still singing into the stratosphere every song starts. I mean, it's up in the strategy. So Mariah Carey. She sounds good. She's working at it doubted. But the voice she doesn't have the command over the voice the way she used to. All right. "They didn't record a sound like a sound soundtrack for it. And so I started like getting involved in this like really weird in each group online of people who like trade musical footage with each other. Like why I would like the only way for me to ever see it again was to find like bootlegged footage of it, but like this is pre anyone uploading that stuff, dark web for Lord of the rings. So truly I would like find clips from other musicals wells within this grand. I don't know what they call themselves, but like it was just like the goers who had them like trade clips and stuff. So I could like slowly collect my Lord of the rings and half the The time. next to it, but then finally later on, they announced that they were going to release it in London and they were gonna like really readapted rewrite. It changed a lot. So I was kind of like, I'm not sure because the beautiful part about it for me was that it was like like the movie where it's like amazing soundtracks. They were just singing over though. So it wasn't necessarily like a musical. It was like a soundscape which I thought was so cool. So I was so obsessed. I like saved up all my money, convince my sister to come with me to London to go see it when it opened there and it was just as bad as before, but I so loved it. They did kind of like Disney fired a little bit. So they had a couple of bangers that, like we're a lot more memorable, but all a solemn, like let it go from frozen like they kind of created a couple songs that like we're meant to stick out. Whereas before it was a lot of like. Just like, how's it? It was, yeah. Convince me too. I also like the Lord of the rings. The soundtrack of it, which we have fancy things on their field flesh. There's in stilts that were as tall as this thing behind us like twenty feet high. It was amazing. But yeah, it was. It was critically hated there as well, and then it shut down there and I'll never get to see it again. So that's really sad. Okay. What's that. Jeez. So it turns out. So we just music. Music. What other musicals are terrible that nobody likes except for Mitch. So. So equally expensive, but successful with The Lion King very successful also wicked, very expensive, very successful. Shrek the musical. Okay, very expensive. But none. None top the biggest pile of garbage the most expensive, double the price pile of garbage as the Spiderman musical anyone here about the spider man musical. Okay. So in two thousand and eleven, they were expecting it to be a huge success. They had the director of The Lion King and Frieda the movie Julie taymor universe. Julie taymor did woman Mary talented woman. They had the score done by you to the edge. Any any Bon Bon fans in the audience know, okay, then you won't mind me saying that critics Pandit of a very boring trash. And then, okay. So to make up for the boring script, they would just have Spiderman swinging through the audience like all the time. And that led of course to a lot of injuries. So I'm the first night of preview. Also, it was delayed. It was delayed for like months and months and months and months. But for the preview show, one of the main actress has had a concussion later on. One of the stunt doubles for Spiderman fell into the orchestra, pit twenty feet and with hospitalized for months. Okay. And then at one point, six people were injured to the point where the Labor Department had to be called in and find them twelve thousand dollars in violations for health and safety. So. To say that the musical didn't do very well and by two thousand fourteen when it closed it lost investors sixty million dollars and and that's all I have to say Spiderman music. So there's a worth musical, the Lord of the ring. Yeah. Also you can watch the person falling in spider man on YouTube and people class. It's like a best in show dark comedy. That's re-live. All right. Henry is are amazing guests, and I'm going to go backstage and let everyone welcome. Andrea. So we'll have you set. I, we're going to start right, cuisine, and then you're going to. Quizzing me. Yeah. Okay. So this is Henry Persky. Do that how you pronounce your last name? That's exactly right. Yeah..
