So we do not have a presidential winner just yet, Kay. Why don't we use Tim Jimenez is at the convention center in Philly with more on how that account is going and how many Maura Ballots need to be processed here. Good morning to him. Good morning, Carol. Yeah, well, how's it going here at the convention center Watching the live stream. There are workers inside. But there's a lot less activity than we've seen the last few days. The machines that seem to be doing the counting Are really running right now. So you know, was this a break for the tired workers? It's something we've seen in other places that we're not exactly sure. Where do we stand? President Trump has a lead in Pennsylvania of around 164,000 votes. Over Joe Biden. So percentage wise. It's 51 to 48 as of now, according to Pennsylvania's Department of State, Close to 30% of Mail in ballots need to be counted. So what we're talking about is around 763,000 votes. A huge chunk of that around a quarter million are from Philadelphia and the suburbs here, Phillie alone with somewhere around 120,000 ballots that need to be counted. So there's a lot more work that needs to be done here and around the state before winter can be declared in Pennsylvania. Carol and what today will bring. Well, that's anyone's guess. Sure is. Thank you, Tim Wannabes. Tim Jimena is live at the convention center this morning. It's 5 36, turning now to a police body cam footage in the killing.

"Check out the songs of the story song. Podcast find the story song. Podcast the official playlist and the story song. Podcast the official classic playlist on spotify stream. All the great songs we review on the show back sign for lessons learned what lesson to be learned from this song. Let's start with Michael. What lesson did you learn from all she wants to stance? I learned that when you're escaping a rebellion. Put Your baseball cap in your carry on luggage. So that as you're running to a plane to escape people don't start screaming at you. Don't come back here Yankee. Yes yeah you don't. Don't don't advertise. What team your support Everybody knows the Yankees are picked on a lot. So you know like a la dodger hat or something like that or just something that you're going to like like put on like a diamondbacks hat right way to sound like a minor league team. I don't know what that sort of like Weird D. With like a paranoia is maybe that's hockey. I don't really follow that stuff or even say just be like if they're like. Don't come back. Dodger for team doesn't even exist anymore baseball and then get into a fight. This is just fashion. Say if you are if you are places not to wear Yankee set a collapsing South American government or Boston. Those are the two places where you really and honestly bosses probably the place. You're you're you're more in depth real. That's that's very true. And technically. Don't wear it at city field either unless as the The otherwise otherwise. Come on. You'RE NOT NOBODY. Nobody can know what he's GonNa get mad. You're not rioted. Anybody Rolling Anybody Guy with the Yankees had at the mets game. We get in Rachel lessons. You learn if you're if you're a part of a rebel group and one of your rebel compadres starts dancing. Don't belittle them join in. Have some you know. It's it's team building? You know what I mean. Some companies do company-wide exercises in the morning. Maybe everybody do the dance. Include Joan is what I'm saying. It's not just about rebel. It's taught you gotta it's about the way. Maybe there's some dancing. Maybe everyone offer Karaoke nine to team building exercise fun escape room or maybe not because that seems very much like a prison for people who are in a war zone. You you might. You might be trying to figure out like fun clues and then find out. You're actually just prison. You're locked in this room. How do we get out get? You don't know you really don't yeah. I would say you know. Look obviously like running a rebellion against the government. You know it's it's a dangerous business. It's serious business. You know. This is not something that you can take lightly You have to be in it to win it right because this is a life or death situation so if you are in charge of a rebel group against the government just birthdays every month. Yes all the all the all the monthly birthdays. Just because you you're you're going to be spending so much time not just the money but because we already gone out to get a Kenya. Yeah no it's. It's too much to monthly birthdays. I think that's like the biggest thing like right after like propaganda to get the people on any side like right below that. If you're running a rebellion is just monthly cake. Just do a monthly cake and look if again. There's nothing wrong with with seasonal cakes. We do the same as we did. A winter birthday. That's right that's right but the thing is like because if you have a cake at four you know that work is getting done. That day exact. Everyone's going to be in like a sugar coma till the end of the day and just like checking twitter so you just do a once a month getting any guerrilla warfare done after that no absolutely not no those no way so yeah so I mean that's the big lesson I took away. That's good thank you guys so much. Realistic this podcast. Please follow us on the social like instagram twitter and facebook. And if you leave us a five star review on Apple podcast we would appreciate it. We'll be back next episode with another great story so Thank you so much for listening again. "Josh. Oh I know you are not Michael. Sunset Grill sound like Dan at the Senate. Oh you got it. You probably heard it while you say. It's not a big. Oh Yeah I've heard this one. Yeah so yeah boys this summer which is actually another. It just occurs to me now. It's another song how it's really a story song but there's a lot of details. Seem like they're hinting at something that we never got the full story on on purpose. I don't know if it's necessarily a story somebody you know kind of song. It is a great song. Great songs amazing. Yeah it's a sticker on a Cadillac. Okay so where was I okay? So critics commented on the evolution to a smoother more adult oriented town or Henley's solo work. Now this song was written by Danny courtoom. No CR- crotch mate Cortra- MAR coach. Maher I'M GONNA go. Yeah and he was as a songwriter musician. Now when all Danny was young man. He began his career as a member of the infamous underground band. The fog's nine hundred sixty four. Don't like their manners. They walked Gera-. There's a famous book about World War. Two I believe. Name the book but It was like it was in the fifties and you know it didn't use the F. Word it's substituted for. Fug because you get it passed the sensors and not you know headed taken off the shelves. So that's that's where the that's where the name the bugs comes from but the folks We're a key part of the more aggressive antiwar end of the sixties counterculture They were known for their lewd subject matter in their songs and they were investigated by the FBI and an FBI memo called them the most vulgar thing. The human mind could possibly conceive so there you go all right and apparently. Fbi had not heard of Justin Bieber rain. All right guys 'cause Azima vulgar thing. I ziva bright just in Bieber you could tell all I ever even my old man. References are like five years out of date okay. After that he worked as a studio musician just about everybody including Linda. Ronstadt which is likely how he got connected to Don Henley L. Ron Gust as we discussed In that that other episode lying is eagles basically formed out of being Linda. Rod sets backing band It's also worth noting like How many amazing songs Demi Moore wrote or cowrote? Yeah Yeah with a couple of I mean a lot with Don Henley New York minute Not Enough love in the world somebody's baby. The Jackson Browne Song. Yeah love that Song I think. He Co wrote with Jackson Browne. Ace that's another. That's another song about a guy obsessing over a woman. Yeah and like watch- watching her out a window Interesting it's almost like sort of formed picture here. Yeah okay throwing all of us not you Danny Danny Kirchner arm but Rachel Look. Not all guys creeps okay. All Danny's create. Oh yeah that's definitely true. That's the Zuko guy named Dan. Come on landing up. I can't look. I wanted denial but I can't. I can't at our big Dan Meeting every month. Where like guys? We should be less creepy and yet it never sticks. I don't know what to tell you. And they look around and say why am I so creeped out right now? Danny's that's my right. That's why so coach coach Mar and Henley so they collaborate on several songs including dirty laundry. But of course my wrote this one is zone which might explain the more blatant harder edge political themes and backing vocals for the song are provided by Patty Smyth of scandal. Oh my God she's awesome. That's the ban that saying the warrior and also goodbye to you. Yeah that you thought. Benetton saying are yeah. So that's about it anything else. We'll talk about Interesting thing that pats of scandal fame Performed backing vocals on this track because She also did a duet with Don Henley. I WANNA say early nineties. "So the last verse He does away with all she wants to do. Is refrain. This has a lot of information though and this is him just getting out and then he goes back to her and so the lyrics are well. We barely made it to the airport for the last plane out as we taxi down the runway. We can hear the people shout they said. Don't come back here Yankee but if I ever do bring more money because all she wants to do is dance so got on the last the last plane right just barely made it out probably was going to be killed if they didn't get out. People are charting the airplane and the moment he saved the moment. He's on the plane and its tacking. Taxiing down. The runway first thing he thinks about first places mind goes back to her and I if I ever come back here I'll bring more money so that I can further romance this woman so he's got a one track mind he does say. Yeah. Yeah it's like. We're we're still in the debrief here. Don is so the question is who's saying don't come back here. Yankee. That's what I was wondering. Is it the government? Is it the rebels I mean? I think it really could be either. I would imagine again if Don Henley is Sierra operative I would imagine. Both sides are probably not too happy that he's around. Yeah because they're probably they're probably feeding both sides to cause chaos so I would imagine that you know they're probably like I said probably in a lot a lot of danger once. They got figured out who they are so Yeah just barely barely gets away And you know. He needs more money so that he can take her out on a date. Sure rally to to an even bigger disco lounge. I would imagine yeah one with even more drugs in the bathroom so we are. You wouldn't believe the drug deals going the all the best for you baby. You're like the repetition of the chorus at the end is just to him to the poor guy who's sitting next to him on the flight home right. All she wants to do is dance like I get it Don. You're not gonNA believe the chick that I met in the disk. Such says never mind the heat coming off the street like I get it. Yeah for an hour anyway. What did you get? I'm sorry what no I'm sorry. Did I not tell you about the dance in part because Oh learning? Jesus you're right. No you're absolutely right. You're actually right. She also wants to make romance. So there's two things that I learned during our operation. Luckily he belongs to the the very elite Alvin. Ailey learn about dances. All they want to do is good Intel. Good until lieutenant wait hold on. I'm going back back in the wall. Eddie I got that reference. I got that was a tough one but I really have to ask for it but I I did actually catch so. Yeah so he just gets out with his life but I also feel like this is just another day of work right another last flight out another angry mob full of wild eyed pistol wavers grain afraid to die screaming at him and then they take off. And it's like that it's Tuesday. Yeah Yeah what songs. Like a weird combination of every movie and TV show of the time. Yes this is. What like nineteen ninety-five. So it's a little bit like all the Indiana Jones Movies. It's a little bit scarface. It's a little bit Miami Vice. It's a little bit like jewel of the Nile. Well all those lane espionage and adventure and mounds of cocaine kind of movies. Yeah why again this is. This is just out of the time I mean this is what everyone is thinking of this sort of what's on everyone's mind at the time. Is the war on drugs. Just say no I mean that is all raging at this moment so anyone anyone hearing this on the radio at the time immediately understanding. What whether if they're listening to the verse. Well I'm saying but like you know I as a very young child did not understand what was going on in the song but you know someone again who is an adult. The design was aimed to probably faded out pretty quickly or at least understood just from like the you know sort of the the what was going on the culture at the time. This was just one more piece of it like Miami Vice like everything else like that episode of of different strokes were Nancy. Reagan showed up and told me it was all saw the piece. You know what I mean. The only thing I want to say about the song is just at the seventh. Riff is awesome is oh the synthesize- trumpets in the beginning it. Yeah well the whole thing just prompted her to Banff Lake I. It's such a weird song. I don't even know what that what that is really like. You don't really Kinda here that sort of thing very often sort of so almost like it's so aggressive in a way it's only word I can think of to explain it But it's just it's great. It's good southfork.

"I don't know what to say about it. I have I mean values. Certainly that is not how I read it and I don't I don't I don't agree not to say I think that's perfectly legitimate interpretation but I mean I think what what I what I was going to say was. He's he's going to the local disk around. Trade deals being made. The government is corrupt right because the the bull. Whoever the boys are and we can discuss that in a second but I think it's actually not clear whether whether when he talks about the boys whether it's the rebels what is the government and the army of this country whether is the US operatives in this you know who are in the country some trying to make a buck off of the weapons right. And so. So they're they're they're in the disk allowed whether or not our narrator is trying to stop that from happening or is involved in the corrupt dealings not clear but my thought was that this is where he met her right he is the disco lounge four work and sees her across the floor and now cannot think of anything else and it is like has thrown all his his important work away is not paying attention to what he's supposed to be paying attention because all you can see her the other thing is when he's talking about all she wants to do is dance are are they together or is this whole song basically taking place as he's just watching her. I think he's watching her. I think he's watching her dance. I don't think I think it's funny that to the government. There's see I wish there was like like is it. The Nicaraguan government is the American government. Because I read it as that. He was there to bug the men's room to keep them like that was why he was there and he was running. He sees her But Yeah I don't think they're together I think that he he's she's just dancing in a disco lounge and and catches his eye. Okay maybe Shimmy against each other. I don't know well. Let's say stuff together because because okay so yeah so in my mind it was always so the government bugged the measure in the local disk allege. I'm assuming that means the government. Let's say Nicaragua so the Nicaraguan government raid has bugged because that's where the deals are going down so they've bugged the measure now who who's selling the weapons and the drugs. I don't know But that's the question is are narrator. There is Don Henley there to stop that from happening or was he going to be involved in the railings. And then and then realize like Oh. I can't because I found out that the men's room is also they just don't want the weapons being sold they're totally five with the drax. Who like don't worry about that? That part's fine. Local economy right. Well I also love all the you know. Sell the army all the drugs that they can do not not like regular people. That party is the army is like they. You cannot believe the cocaine. The army can begin down in this country So so that's happening so okay. So now the question was is Don Henley either Caesar floor and they have no connection. He's just watching her and he's like falls in love and infatuated or are they a do they hook up this night right this one and only night where you know. This is all happening. Basically one all she wants to do is dance because I've hanging out. I'm almost certainly on cocaine having a great time so well you're selling fun until you're selling cocaine if you're selling cocaine to the army euro so probably doing it. I would imagine as well but you know hanging out. He's having a great time in like he should be paying more attention to the operation. That's going down and the deals that are going down in this disco. But he's not because he's too busy with her or are they six-month-long thing were there together and he's just like not paying a dish whose job at all because like infatuated with this woman so. I think there's kind of there's three I think legitimate interpretations to it. I always felt like there's one line at the end that makes me feel like they are at least somewhat involved. They have a connection. But that's not necessarily you know it's not it's nothing concrete so I think your interpretation Rachel which I like again. 'cause I can. I can see him in like the Miami vice suit. Yes I totally tissue this Miami Vice. Yes Johnson perfect type period definitely. It's the sound of the song and also didn't Glynn for. I have a song on the Miami Vice Soundtrack. Yes I think so so all of that together. What's I think it was it like you belong to the city was that? Oh Yeah Yeah I think so. I mean if that's gone Friday I'm going to say almost definitely Yuccas. Even though I've never seen the show Miami Vice I can just picture Don Johnson sadly driving through the ad blowing. Yeah where like you know because I think that show was not. I think the thing that was semi famous about that show was. It wasn't the like every week. They caught the guy like I think. Most of the time the guy the bad guys got away because it was supposed to be a more realistic. Sorta COP show so I I think that there's there's a lot of like montages of of Don Johnson like driving through the city being like. Why do I even bother with the hope that we can only slow down the drugs? We can't stop it. Also a big thing about Miami vice and this is not a Miami Vice podcast but But down it should go is that it was. It was known for using contemporary music to tell the story. So like Glenn Fry Tina Turner. There's all these songs that you know our show up in Miami vice to make it much more Cinematic so revolutionary. At the time. That's amazing like modern music score but yeah but I totally said Don Johnson in his Pascale Sport everything driving in a convertible sadly enders. I wound again ever seen the show but I just amazing Solo and Don Johnson sitting there like. We're too much linen. Do I think they do that thing? Where like they're driving and they have the one hands on yesterday's victory but also that I can't explain but they take their thumb and rub it on their bottom lip you you know what I'm talking about. Kind of like like sadly yeah. I could totally see it happening again. Michael I've never seen the show have no evidence of this but I'm one hundred percent that happens. Good job To the NAP purpose. So yeah so again. I'm GonNa say that you know what I'm GonNa say that he they they danced together this night. Yeah right but this is it. This is the one and only night. They had one amazing night. Big Deal going down. So they're here they here in. This country stuff's going down Whatever whatever agencies CIA? Whatever it is. Dan Johnson is a part of their supposed to be doing this deal in the disco Landreau. They're supposed to be like monitoring or or trying to stop whatever's happening or arrest people whatever it is but he like totally blows it he goes. He sees this girl talking to this girl. They start having a couple of drinks maybe do a couple of rails in the bathroom and then they're just dancing all night and they completely misses what he's supposed to be doing and also he does not care because he all she wants to do is dance. Only thing that matters still so. Can I throw my theory here? Yeah so back to what I was saying before about her involvement. Maybe that is her involvement. Maybe it's like a spy versus spy. Kinda thing ooh Oh you think. She's standard abstract him. Yeah that's good too. That goes back to you. Michael but it just depends on who she's there to distract. Yeah Okay it could be the white working in the club that he's at and but she's they're sort of on official business right. Well maybe I mean it could just be that he saw her am he causes. Be Don Johnson is done. Dodger doesn't Don Henley is just not good at his job right. I mean that's that's very possible by I like this theory where Because we only have his perspective right right right so he saying Oh. She can't feel the heat coming off the street. All she wants to do is dance and make romance. But maybe that's what she's telling him you know what I'm saying. She's like I'm just dumb girl. I don't know anything really. She's part of the rebel. The homeless of the rebel lions guys hold on civil my theory or she is princess. Leia okay. That's so the country they're in. I don't just stick with me here. I think that's definitely a possibility. There's and then all the people who thought she doesn't do anything she turns him and says. Oh I don't do anything do I? And they say well pray Joan get him card and she says well here's the treasury and the key whereas the I don't know it's just added a key and a treasure map. That's what we're supposed to be or but I ca- everyone's attention everyone in the office. Okay I just wanted to give a shoutout Joan. She apparently this whole time was playing the long game. So let's just give her a round of applause for John Everybody. Hey we thought she was worthless but actually she was Able MOM random out on me Joan. Okay guys let's do the July birthdays quick and we gotta get back to it. Okay but it's June. I what we have leftover cake from last month. Guys WE'RE DOING. We're doing all this summer. Birthdays doing all this summer. Birthdays right now where it's really coming. Corpus really come down on the Cape budget so we'll just knock them all out right now. Feel free to have a piece of cake at your desk. It's either that or she is terrible at her job being rebel and he is terrible at his job. Being a government spy and y'all factions. Get together and say you know what those two deserve. Each Other. Can't even let let them go for it favor. I love how nine times out of ten. We err on. The side of people are just terrible.

"And again. This may be the first time you're actually hearing these lyrics and what he's saying. Daddy are shocking very shocking. So right off the top he says Rebels been rebels. Since I don't know when so our narrator is here in this country Again presumably may be directly involved with why there is violence. Happening doesn't seem to doesn't really seem to nomad rebels forever. I really know what's going on. He doesn't. He seems not fully informed about the situation in this country but it is very informed about this woman and how she likes to dance and when she likes to dance which by the way is all of the time she wants to dance. Yeah you know what I'm thinking. What if what if? What if she is one of the rebels and she's supposed to be putting prisoners in a pen all she's dancing Joan? Yeah COME ON US. Part of your job to yeah. She's ruining thank. You have a quota of six prisoners with the rest of us we gotta we gotTa pick up the slack for you. You're just you're over here in your private little musical. You don't think around. I think all we WANNA do is dance dance. No but we ought to do which means rising so Dan stance after you work work. Yeah exactly exactly you know. You have a fifteen minute break in a half hour Jones standing on your own time. Oh my God. I can't believe of all the rebel groups that were in. We ought to be in the one. Who's in the rebel with the rebel leaders niece? Because she can do whatever you want so you see this. She's going to get fired anything she wants. Also she. She's drinking those Molotov cocktails. I think she actually cocktails explains why she's constantly dance if she's drinking those things. This might explain what's going on right here. They yeah I mean again if she is. One of the rebels is just like well. I mean if she you know she's going to get fired. Where are the ones who are going to find right? You'll just get promoted to assistant rebel captain or whatever but we're the ones you're going to be in trouble so and I need this rebel job. Okay this is how I put. Molotov cocktails on my rebel table. Now if she if she hands you a resume just smile and resume just smile and nod. Boss's niece austen's niece yes. She sees me over the oppression. Sub Sort of Broadway producer could have gotten that idea is all I'm doing is going around picking up prisoners putting the pens but cannot do that all right. I guess they wouldn't be the rebels right. The rebels are the ones that are getting picked up so they would be part of the government but today it will be singing castle in the cloud from Missouri. Put the prisoners in the pen. Come out of the cell. I understand that you're trying to do with song about someone who's in jail. Please come on out of there. We really need you now. Your name is Joan. Your name is not two four six one. Let's go yeah. I mean we've already touched this. Don't drink the local drink you guys seriously. I know it's a trick you know you go to a foreign country you want to try the local cuisine. Try the local drinks but do not drink them out cocktails. I cannot cannot stress that it has a kick if you will. Yeah that said though. Like if you're going to have a rebellion you should have a signature cocktail. But here's the thing if you're if you're having a violent rebellion against the government make it fun right. If you WANNA get people on your side you got to see him like you're the fun ones right. I mean those little details. Go a long way. You know what I mean. This is a Molotov cocktail with like a with like a little umbrellas sticking out of it. Oh that's that's fun right. That's the thing I call it like. They call it like lemonade. Was going to say. Like if you're part of the government action and you see a Molotov cocktail coming toward you but then you see one of those little drink umbrellas. It you're going to be like all right that's cute. I have two and I still not crazy about you guys but I gotta you got me on that one pretty funny. An every third one isn't isn't lit and it's full of try and it is just into light so that they can. They're like this is great. That's so nice. This is perfect. It's just what I needed you guys especially dealing with this one. Who WON'T STOP DANCING OVER RIGHT? If I'm going to deal with a drink office you don't have to be crazy to work with Joan but it helps. It's five o'clock somewhere You want it. Yeah so they mix them upright in the kitchen sink. I will say this is a good reason to make sure you always have your dishes done because if you gotta wash those real quick before you make them out cocktail. It's GONNA slow your way down. Get may get a dishwasher. Get keep it loaded or at least get a chore. Chart Yeah You can have a Chore Chart. Now this is again. This keeps the rebellion. Fun Right you know what I mean. Everybody when you finish sure everyone can see on the board game sticker. Yeah right you put that cigarette on the tortured. Everyone knows got ten acres so far this week. A good news there scratching smells like human suffering random applause for Fidel. Everybody come on Dan mind. Job Good is a good team building. Exercise Okay coming up next. Cindy's two of the week guys before before the meeting is over guys. It's Marie Birthday today. So we just want to say we got her a cake and a ten dollar gift certificate on everybody say but for the record this is for all of the May birthdays. Yeah Yeah I mean. We can't do this like that's how do we do the first of the month. Yeah I mean we're trying to have fun but also this is a place of Business Marie Birthday. But we're not getting everybody. Yeah summary is gonNA pretend it's her birthday kingpins on her birthday but seriously guys. We hit our rebellion goal this month. I'm just trying to go back of my mind doing like horrible office. Joe Johnson those weird meetings where there was one woman no one else cared in the slightest But there was a woman who was super into getting a cake for someone's birthday and then she'd be like she would put the cake on their desk and everyone had gathered force. Basically bully everyone together on that person's cubicle this thing where they and I swear happy birthday and we never finished he would always around is not a log song you guys. It would always like. Have you ever have him it and then everyone would just walk away and we're just and she would finish yourself. Happy Day to Uehara thank you. This necklace paperclips.

"Hey everybody welcome back to the story. Song podcast mcinerney. I'm Rachel outs an Michael Gazelle. Ever so we walk you through a story song. And this week redoing. All she wants to do is dance by Don Henley and this might be the this might well. It's a classic. But this might be the ultimate version ray at to say surprise. It's the story saw. You probably didn't know that I thought it was just like a fun. Little Song Bob Woman is dancing. Haven't really listened to lyrics. That's okay because the reason why this one was on the list was. I heard it on the radio weirdly. No I will listen to the oldies station. So it wasn't that weird I heard on the radio and for the first time I actually listened to the lyrics was probably the first time I heard it since I was a kid and I was like. What are they ran home? Yeah it's one of the songs that you you listen to and you're like Oh this is peppy and then there's one word that sticks out and you're like I'm sorry. What was that. This falls under the category of the verses important. Sometimes it's not just the chorus. Yeah well yeah so. And there's a repeated phrase that sort of sticks in your head lodged in your brain perhaps more than the rest lyric. So you might you might miss. It ran home. Google the lyrics. Listen to song ten more times because by the way. This song is awesome is so good Talking about that also later but yeah so the story just before we get into the story like in my mind prior to like really paying attention to lyrics this song was always sort of equivalent to Eddie. Murphy's Party all the time where it's just about someone who wants to have a good time and party and dance and that's it and there's no subtext no surprises no be story. The Eddie Murphy is about the economic crash of the early eighties. Listening little known fact. I really like you gotTa really pay attention. The satire is subtle. But you gotTa really pay attention so but this one all she wants to do is dance. The story is now. I one of the things where usually complained where. We're not getting enough details. This story were not getting enough details but that is definitely intentional. We're all we're getting like some weirdly specific details but like big chunks of the story are clearly being left out But again that's intentional. Because the story our narrator is involved in in the US government operation in a foreign country not clear which one given the timeframe probably South America? Probably it's supposed to be Nicaragua because I was going on at the time. So you're you're happening. Adult in one thousand nine hundred five probably would would would go but it could be anywhere But it's a foreign country. He's involved in some kind of US. Government operation maybe he's in the CIA And the country is collapsing into violence. All around him and the only thing he's thinking about is this girl that he's falling in love with an all she wants to do is dance. So you're getting these details but but it keeps at the end of the line. It always goes back to all. She wants to his dad's because that's all he cares about and design a prize. No no no. Well I mean I mean potential. He is but probably not the pricey he should be carrying about as he's escaping just barely with his life at the end the moment he is safe and has survived his thoughts immediately. Go back to this this woman and her her never ending love dancing but at the light.

Get a family uniform

"This past Christmas. I decided to buy my entire family matching pajamas. My goal at the time was just to take one of those cute Christmas morning. Pictures people post on instagram but since we were expecting another baby soon after Christmas elected to buy pajamas that weren't completely Christmasy so the baby could wear his pair once he was born. The pajamas are just non-seasoned specific festive a navy blue. Henley top trimmed in red and fuzzy pants. With a snowflake pattern. This turned out to be a good choice because my entire family and I include my husband and myself in that statement have kept wearing these pajamas all winter long and into spring. We don't sit down and decide to wear them on the same night but it's always fun to see which other family members have chosen them on any particular evening we nod and smile and note. The family jammies. This was fun in January and February. But it's proven particularly nice as we wound up in the House together. Twenty four seven starting in early March. If we're going through this at least we're going through it together as a family in team jerseys. If you're spending a lot of time with your family these days you might also enjoy having a family uniform. Pajamas are great because well. Let's face it. We're spending a lot of time in our pajamas and it's an easier sell to get people to wear something comfortable but you could choose a matching family t shirt or baseball cap a matching family fleece would keep you warm until he nights matching slippers might be fun too and no one's going to see them when you're on zoom calls all day so you could keep wearing them all day long even your chosen family such as roommates might. WanNa get in on this. It's fun to feel like a team. During Tough Times with the folks who are living with a uniform can also help you establish a connection with Farflung family to send grandma the family t shirt and then everyone wears it as you face time each other. It's not the same as being there in person but it reminds you that you're in this together.

Adam Scott Emerges From Crowded Field to Win Genesis Open

"Adam Scott doesn't seem like he's won like five genesis before they shouldn't. You shouldn't have already been a real winner. It at Riviera explained the whole real winner. Thirty six hole win which I don't remember honestly two thousand five I can't claim to and then they went out and played some sort of modified playoff. Yeah only Chad Campbell. I guess and check Campbell. So did he get the full money for that? He got money and I think you got the trophy. I just don't think he got the official win. Okay it was. It was the Dustin Johnson Pebble Beach Title Okay. the second whole array of this week played barely over par by the way which is maybe a sign of the ball. My finally go too far. We'll we'll talk a little distance on the back end we Obviously broke down the. Usda Distance Report on last week's episode with K v V. But I WANNA get some random thoughts. I think you're chatting before we started here. Tc About Adam. Scott being you know maybe the wilderness that kind of the narrative that was being pushed was you know maybe a bit bit too far. Yeah he's been in the top fifty in the world. Since two thousand he had two solo seconds last year formers and memorial and then won the Ozzy. Pga At the end of the year there. didn't have a great twenty eighteen but solo third at the PGA Championship. I am shocked to see him putting as well as he is Is it don't know if there's anything to it that he put these are the hardest. Greens on tour to PUTT statistically this in pebble and he puts them really well. That's a sign of like nothing matters on these Greens. I don't I don't know what it means but I'm sure that I'm sure you probably feels like nobody's making butts out. Here actually might have an advantage out here. Just frees him up Randy Wise Rev week one of your favorites you. You've talked about more than I've heard you talk about any other golf course. I think it's It's such a nice course I think it starts with the course You know some iconic holes. I mind is Probably number ten which I know we can get into a little bit Eighteen you know everybody can kind of picture that uphill dogleg right with the clubhouse up there. I think you know for me. It's just Just seems to produce such a good tournament year after year after year And I don't think that's an accident when we're talking about the golf course. It's the end of the West Coast swing. I think there's a bit of sadness or melancholy that you know. My favorite part of the years is coming to an end and honestly you know. Mickelson always played well out there so that doesn't hurt But yeah that's I I don't know I think it's just the the whole. Go Sycamore. Trees I I it just really looks good on TV. And I think that for me. That's where it starts with Y enjoy the week so well similar to Augusta in in some way it's always creates a lot of drama in that guy's in groups ahead had these little stretch is a whole where you can get it like ten eleven. You know you've made that turn you. There's a couple of gettable holes and guys can make birdies get up close to that lead and but the leaders back there haven't played the easy holes yet so it kind of creates this ton of excitement and you can't really tell who's in the lead like you can see who's most under par but knowing that there's so many half par holes coming in you don't really know who's some king win this legit. If he stepped up and birdied eighteen he got in at ten Adam. Scott looked like he was wavering. There for a little bit But he ended up surviving. I just like Augusta. I think. That's a great comparison in that. Not only can guys you know. Go Low all of a sudden inclined back into it but there's you know there's some car crashes out there can't get away with any exactly so just that volatility to develop Is it just creates a lot of excitement and captures your attention watching rory get flustered today and just like not be able to find it was. I mean it's jarring I mean the guy's been total control was golf ball for Shelton Neil of course ACCUA For I don't know ten months. At least maybe more than that and just to see him have absolutely nothing. Today was just it. Was it hearken back to win? Almost when Randy was calling for him to be dead before he had officially died. But yeah that's what reveal. Do demand if you don't have it. You're Gone Russell. Henley you'RE GONNA bud. Sorry you're out of

Shopping For Going Out Clothes at Age 37

"Like grocery shopping. That's why this podcast features funny stories from fantastic writers about our daily L. E. anomalies a micro audio book about life and befuddle men. Just for you our story. This week is from Shawny silver. Who you'll find wind on medium DOT COM and here is shopping for going out close at age? Thirty seven a scary story to tell in the dark back in ten days time. I'm going to New Orleans to visit two of my dearest girlfriends. We haven't been in the same room together since Obama's first term. This is a big deal a couple of weeks ago one of them texted and asked me how I feel about having having a night in New Orleans. She is my best friend. She knows me well enough to understand that my strong itinerary preference prince is Popeye's chicken on her couch while we facebook stock. Everyone from law school. She knows what she's asking of me. Of course I'm down for a night in New Orleans who wouldn't be in the era of shared ride APPs really have no reason to turn down a a little revelry. I have enough time to mentally prepare myself since day awake past midnight and I have a genuine love of the off Bourbon in St offerings in this town. Let's do this my one true concern wardrobe. I don't own going out close anymore because I do not partake in going out. I don't go to places with lines out front and if I have to scream to communicate I leave. Save the fun I enjoy as a thirty-seven-year-old adult typically happens during the day and I can tell you I enjoy it and save a lot more than I ever did. During the era of my life will quietly call body glitter but I refused to lead an unbalanced unbalanced. Life that only consists of leggings and I- delight inexperienced wonderful places likely to lead to excellent photos. I am jumping into this three sheets to the wind experience. Despite the fact that I'd rather be home wrapped in three sheets so I took to the Internet in order to outfit myself was something suitable for nighttime merriment reader. I screamed admittedly. It's been awhile since I let my FA- Lange's wonder into these e commerce categories but good Lord. I didn't think I'd been in out of the game so long. That actual clothing had gone out of fashion. I didn't recognize any of the garments. I saw and I certainly he didn't know how to ingress or Egress a single. One of them are we- wearing lingerie out of doors. Now is that what's happening not to sound too much like the women in my grandmother's Thursday afternoon Magellan Group but put some clothes on. I just want to to go to dinner and a bartenders in this cocktail bar or two. I don't also want to lose an extremity to the wiles of winter. You're also why is everything tight. Why is everything a bodysuit? I'm not swimming the channel. I'm ordering a young a Pinot Noir. I'm looking through scores of items typically worn by a dominatrix while being paid handsomely for her work and and I simply can't feel confident about my ability to exit a lift in any one of them whereas my solace I ask you. I can't take myself seriously in clothing. That looks like the dog ate half of it nor am I ready to shop. It stores reserved for the ladies who monitor standardized testing. I don't know where I belong or what to wear when I get there. And I feel adrift in a Sea of very restricting and and difficult to care for fabrics in the end I know all go with a deep V.. Black Henley high waisted gene black good evening bag on a gold chain any chunky. He'll suck boot Wing my eyeliner and dry shampoo my hair and hope to heaven. And there's been time for a nap that day because all of these things are what. Make me feel comfortable. And if I'm not comfortable then there will never be a night anywhere that I'll be able to enjoy and that's what you know when you're thirty seven that never crossed your mind. Ten Years Prior no matter how much your feet hurt while wearing address. That didn't allow you to sit down. Oh yes I had my time. Don't wait for me. He if you're still in the phase of your life that requires double stick tape. I applaud you. I was you once. I don't regret that time and I'm not sad about progressing to this time. I just wish there was one retailer who grown up with me. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to spend my day making soup editing. My podcast in reading a book. And if you're spending yours removing hand stamps and wrist spans and frantically retracing the steps of your debit card.

"Just take off and fourteen. I decided no. We're going to use that hose and we're GONNA put gas on this car and burn this motherfucker. I this is what we're GONNA DO Q. I'm like here flank steak and his cousins crying still like no fucking cows. Cows still making noise. The cows still not a whole but this is like desolate road out in the country. Like it's just us out. No one's around knowing that we probably elite we were probably two miles from his mom's house like where we picked him up. So sure enough right. And we fucking we had cigarettes and Shit and put out a lighter and put the fucking host pumped it got it going. Douse the inside of the car with gasoline. And then just fucking they let it go and I was like listening to. I was like we're going to go and we cut through a field. I was like look going back. Go inside and go to sleep Here's the key took the keys like put the keys back. You don't know Shit. He wakes up in the morning. His you know keyser there. Where's my car? Some fuckers hop stole it or something right something like you. Don't you don't know shit like that. I would not be able to fuck it. Act that out. All he all he had to do was just not know anything anything. We didn't know that he would do it. But we also didn't know we'll see and also like my dad was county judge in the town over right so if I'm getting caught with this this is going to be like an fuck and paper deeper. Yeah right I mean it's a small town shit and so I'm like dude. Look don't just you don't know anything so we come. The father wakes up we go home. I get the car we go home and tell okay we gotta go back home. He his parents don't even think about it right. Turns out because we don't have communication with him all the time. It turns out that the guy got up to step father got up when the seasons keys their cars that went to fuck with. Why doesn't know what figure somebody stole it like? That was what it was right so the kid never said anything at all but the stepfather was violent. was like really crazy talking smack. The MOM smack the kid and he'd been doing that shit before just mad because he's just that fucking guy would ultimately we never got caught but two things one after that incident that led to that His mom separating from that guy so she finally got away from him and then I found out even later that the guy who went to jail for twenty five to life for some shit way after that for some reason in writing because he was mad. Yeah right because he was so mad he got triggered. Realize that's going away. You destroy destroy that Cowan burning car that kid's life but the kid hells crazy. Yeah he didn't care team he was like twelve or thirteen young just held and never set and just play dumb. You know because the keys were back in the dish you know. Whatever years later I said something to my dad about this and told him what happened right and you know like I was really? I didn't use this maybe ten years ago. Something like that. Well we're that happened was just one county over which is like twenty five miles. Awesome like that so I told my dad what happened like that and he goes you know what I remember that story because it was in the paper like there's a burned out marijuana marijuana country road in the ditch and it kind of stood out for noon time alien. There's no right so ultimately so somebody stole the Camaro and crash it into a cow and that was it all works Out God what a great story can nail that cow dude. He rolled up over that thing. Yeah can we were all crying at one. Point comes on strong right at the end out of the podcast is a good story. I'm not to do that. I tried one or two because they got away with the I you know I mean just what he's saying much later gets in the past ten years or so. I gotta wait like the first one I if she liked it and understood it was cool about it and the second one and then it got to the third one and then she didn't like the third one because we were making fake. ID's and selling them right. And I don't remember what the first two stories where they were equally as harmless armless. What's what's wrong with them? We all were in search of the fake idea was when we're doing it at school and right now we were in like we. It all came to ahead years later when one of my friends who the girl who was one of the facilitators in this just happened to have her still in her purse a million years later and went home for the Husky football game and got a little tipsy and the principal the assistant principal office. He was so stupid we ran it all through his office and he was two rows in front of her at the High School football game and they got liquor and he turned around. Because that's how you're useless. That's why you're my secretary. And she goes out really. This is our secretary and pulls out the fake. ID shows that term handed hands down to him to rose. I was your secretary because we are going to illegal. Id Making Operation Out of your office for two years dumb. That's why our Jagger jacker Terry so that's that's my that's my Mama now you didn't have to because she likes the guy all she talked about. You didn't HAVE TO BE MADE TO MR O.. Oh shields yeah. Why were you mean to Mr Oziel? Mr Hills a bus driver and he was a Dick Right. So Fuck Mr Rose. You got one of them. We could end the PODCAST. I had a moral dilemma in high school so the let's just say the gym teacher. Okay okay because I was an athlete and a bunch of us are athletes. We hung out at the gym teacher a lot and got to use his office whenever we want her one day. We're fishing around his office and there's a court board and and I don't know I don't know what made us do it but we. We moved the Cork Board and there was a whole that went right and no right into the girls luxuries. porky's one hundred percent porkies and I know people listen to us right now is like you're you're just telling porkies is the God those things work their way in this game very good. And then we're like Holy Shit Blah Blah's creep. He's a fucking cream but then we're like but what do we do because because now we get the office like he goes home. All right guys logoff when you're done and we've been shooting hoops in the in the gym and we would have to like take care of the equipment and then you know our our job at the school was in on this like you know we were allowed to do all this and you just locked the door and you go home soon as he left. It's later in the day kind of like now like late afternoon. We have the the office to ourselves and and let's just put the team practices are ending and we're like holy. We take turns looking and looking at all. The girls is that we're in school with all these years later I got about that. I didn't fucking say anything but it's hard because you the phones going to shut this off. No your shop is healthy. You're now you're what sixty two I'm seventy two due process. The teenage great news mind. That's not that's how I gotta look. I guess yeah because my teenage mind is completely different them. I I heard mine but we were like what what do we do. Event felt guilty or looking but it was such a major turn on. And then you're like bub that means the coaches a free. Now we graduate and got out of there. I wonder if I wonder if it continued after us. I wonder if he ever got caught. I wonder if he finally you said you know what fuck it. I can't take any more chances than any covered up the whole but it was clear as day that this whole was made victims was fun man in your backyard like this. It's Nice isn't it. It's a beautiful night here New York City this you could actually see stars in New York City. Got A few stars up in the sky as the sun has gone down all right. I think we should wrap this. fucking podcast Jelly. Wrap it up. Joey yes I did want to say something mind really well only because unle because Every once in a while look the facebook group for the OB podcasts and all of this and some people were Carl Memorial. Or whatever like you you guys right well this is the point like you guys were closer to him than I was a ton of fun nights with him. You know me him and big hang out. And and all this I can't imagine going through all of those one memorial after I mean for somebody that close. Yeah but you did a great service for him. Thank and and the people that care because those are just great quality authentic. Yeah people are saying the real thing about him and fuck all that Shit and you even put something about about like not sure which direction the podcast is GonNa go fucking keep doing it. That's just it here. Well that's what I'm saying but don't you know a couple of things about Ross. John Come over today but then you had this limbo but he was in we. We can get together next time a couple of things about that. Anybody that's saying enough with the Carlton. Now Fuck those guys didn't give a shit about call was rows somebody else. How people are terrible? Do you really think I wanted wanted. And Vic wanted to go to hand or ten or twelve episodes in New York Brooklyn but the bigger point is utilized orig- service to him and anybody who cared about him because that is some great stuff. Thank you. Well everyone wanted to tell the story and reach out about what Karl momentum in in their lives and I wanted to just get as much down on tape as possible for furs. Mom Brothers families. Trust me if it was up to me I would have said fuck that and I would have disappeared for for a month or two and then I would just be resurfacing now I understandably I wanted to do some of it but then it was like fuck. I felt like trapped. I'm like I gotta I just gotTa got to play this out all the way to pig beach finally was the last one and and even though we did I think something like ten episodes that Were all about Carl and remembering him. Right down stop sign the guys like freaking out and Shit and started up. I was like fuck it. We'll just take it down and back in you know no problem so it's like a two lane highway. That was like the old highway. And it's a a little like this and I just opened the fuck up. I'm like I don't care. I think I was fourteen. Something like Texas so I just open it up. And we're going and me and my buddy on the front and his cousins in the back and we talked a little thing like that. And there's a fucking cow perpendicular to the road right there broadside broadside. There's no like when you grow up in the the country you know you don't want to totally hit the brakes because it takes a car down in the animal roll up and fuck it up even worse. I want to try to steer. But you WanNa just lighten the impact impact but not go down but you gotta take that fuck around. There was but you can't hit the brake shocks starlight run over you. Wallet goes through the Windshield. Hard like that. Role died Hitting deer that way come right through the windshield but there was no time to even think by the time. Let me hit and I barely let off the gas and I hit this fucker. At least eighty plus something like that brought straight brought in between his legs this strike as he was perpendicular in the road. Hits the car rolls up smashes the windshield. There's blood but it turns out it was none of ours. Fuck it rolls. Dave Matthews, Anderson Paak and Maren Morris Form Lobby Group

"Horn the music industry changes almost by the minute thanks to the internet and all kinds of streaming services these days it's a lot more complicated to figure out who gets paid for what well listeners are really good at adapting to the latest music platform the laws that govern them aren't quite so fast to catch up now is the music industry superstars including Dave Matthews and Anderson park have formed the music artists coalition it's a new Washington DC outfit that will lobby for musicians rights I spoke with reporters Lucas Shaw who broke the story for Bloomberg and he explained how musicians often have to rely on the federal government unlike a lot of other creative industry you the federal government has a huge role in affecting how artists especially how the song writers get compensated from all sorts of different parties so you either have judges or laws or some other government bodies determining how songwriters get paid by radio station by bars by restaurants by streaming services you know Pandora Spotify apple you name it and even last year Congress passed a new act called modernization act but also affected a lot of the royalty collection all the artists of the relationship between the music industry in Washington is very tight and artists are looking to make sure that into their voices heard whatever new laws and bills are being proposed the music modernization act went through a lot of iterations and was not easy to get passed to recording artist feel that there were things that were either cut out of that act or could have been stronger are they hoping that there might be other kinds of legislation going forward you know when I spoke with earning a daughter who's a manager everybody from Travis Scott to the eagles to Dan company at least involved in in working with all of them he said that he felt the bill was net neutral but it wasn't a bad thing but if if that was the best effort to making your and better for artists it didn't change a whole lot but I do think that this is as much about what's coming next as what has already happened because the fact is is that every year or two it seems that there is some new issue involving artist in Washington and there's certain laws that are currently on the books that they would love to see change if there is any way you know for example from an old telecommunications act that created the idea of safe harbor which is what allows a lot of free music to collaborate on you too that they would love to get rid of and the other complicating factor is they're different licenses that apply based on how a song is used there is the mechanical license which the license to copy and distribute the composition and there's the sound recording which is the performance of that song is that part of the problem to that rights and royalties are pretty complicated once you start taking them apart yeah I sometimes get confused explaining music rights to myself or to editors and I have to say you know you have the recording which is the musical performer you have the publisher which is a song writer and then within both of those you have your point mechanical performers are just so many different right very hard to keep track of very hard to know what is what and the fact is is that most artists don't know these things they're not keeping on they're not keeping tabs and they are relying on intermediaries whether it agent or publisher is certainly able to keep track of it for them but the idea behind you the company or the new lobbying group is we need professionally minded folks who understand the intricacies of the music business and can advocate on artist behalf in BC and make sure that there's no kind of contrast think decide because the fact is is that labels and publishers often have a different golden artist they obviously all want the music to be listened to but if the label can keep a little more the money that the artist is gonna keep they're probably gonna do that we're talking with Lucas shot at Bloomberg about a new lobbying effort by musicians Dave Matthews I suspect is not really hurting when it comes to whatever he's pay how much of what artists like Dave Matthews are doing or for himself and maybe for other lesser known less powerful art as they try to work for all song writers and performers I think a little bit of both so I'm I've been told the Dave Matthews for example is very upset that there's so much bootleg merchandise available on Amazon fans will pay for any new T. shirt or concert DVD or anything like that and if somebody else uploading it to Amazon Dave Matthews at their thing will why should some other person get money that should really go to be enter my bandmate though you've got lots of money part of it is is fighting the good banking but I do think you're right that you know the the names that have signed up for this Dave Matthews Band don Henley man Morris Anderson pock either big stars and when they say they're getting behind an issue that forces other people to pay attention and come to the table and it makes it easier for them to look out for the little guy it also strikes me as a little bit odd that one of the people who is involved in this is Irving aids off and people have been around the music business know that Irving has been Hey he's been a manager he's been a promoter it does feel like he is almost on the other side of this equation where ARE Irving A.'s office priorities aligned with that of some of the artists I mean look Irving has had almost every job in the music business he ran after he ran a record label but I think the through line through his career has for the most part been standing up to the artist in particular in this leader phase of his career he has tried whether self interested or not to get a flight for artists right and art is getting more money in the face of you know large tech companies playing the consolidation of record labels you know earning a thought came of age in the music industry that looked a lot different than it did say a lot more diffuse you had more different labels you had more different salaries now they're just a handful of companies that can control things in tow Irving answered made it is critical or to be saved that giant for some of these artists and one of the overriding complications I assume is the rise of streaming services so let's just say I pay ten Bucks to go into a bar there streaming Spotify there's a song by the eagles is that part of the problem that the green not that kind of calculation in a digital era is incredibly complicated a lot of people feel like the streaming kana me has been built for example is to the detriment of the song writers that's just one of many ways that when you have a new type of economy that it has in the shift from CD's I tune about dreaming there's both opportunity and peril and who collects the

Ukrainian president's party seeks majority in new parliament

"T. welcome to weekend from the BBC world service on pole Henley and we begin with the fact that three months ago a comedian and satirist one the Ukrainian presidential elections by a landslide hello to me is a Lansky's victory might have upended the political establishment but a lack of support for him in parliament as mentees been unable to enact his agenda or point cabinet ministers to overcome this obstacle he dissolved parliament and brought elections forward to several months to today well joining me from K. F. is the BBC's Moscow correspondent Steve Rosenberg hello Steve how significant would you say this election was good morning full I think it is very significant because you say Mr zein ski scored a major victory three months ago a completely new face in Ukrainian politics winning the presidency but in Ukraine the parliament's has a lot of power much more about when you compare it to say the Russian parliament in neighboring Russia and so missed as it is he says he wants to push through a whole stream of reforms he wants to shake up Ukrainian politics in one of him to do that he needs the support of parliament that is why he decided to dissolve the previous brought up Ukrainian parliament that's why we having a snap election today so it's important for him that his party servant of the people does well in this election and leading up to the pole opinion polls in Ukraine suggested it will do very well indeed and what is his agenda what reforms does he want to push through he once he says he wants to reform all sexes in Ukraine he says he wants to fight corruption he says he wants to limit the powers of the big tycoons of the oligarchs some people say the not quite sure what he stands for what he's party stands for but he's he claims he does want to carry out a major a major reform program in this country and he's hoping the servant of the people will get a majority in parliament if that happens that will be the first time that one party has got a majority in the Ukrainian parliament since nineteen ninety one Ukraine the west of Ukraine anyway tends to lean towards Europe and the European Union do you think Brussels sees Mister Zielinski as a as a friend or is it too early to say I think it's it's a little too early to say I think Brussels is hoping that early signals from the new president from his party suggest that so he does want to continue to take that Ukraine in the direction of the west in the direction of the European Union support for NATO membership has grown in Ukraine in recent years but it has to be said that the election this election is not taking place in all parts of Ukraine today because there we know voting in Crimea a peninsula that Russia annexed back in twenty fourteen I know voting news polling stations opened in parts of the Donbass region in eastern Ukraine which is controlled by separatists who backed by Russia and that means that although the Ukrainian parliament should have four hundred fifty MP said it they'll only be four hundred and twenty four Steve Rosenberg in Kiev many thanks you with the BBC world service on pole Henley this is we

"They're really enjoying showing america tearing itself apart it does seem to be a spectator sport at this point the up and it's covered that way is and i think the application that the media makes two trips abroad in these activities to the entire right or the entire left honestly it are not healthy because when you try you paint a picture of of a country of people that don't wanna go outside i mean why would you want to go outside in this environment when in reality we all do it every day and and everything's fine which are creating this your increasing the tension you're giving so much focus to these people it it's not help it's unhelpful uttal not at all i should probably add one addendum to that rant and that is that don henley invited a lot of that media attention he was obviously railing against the news media sure but that happens when you're a huge star and there's a naked sixteen year old girl unconscious in your bed it's a minor point or you could bring up at this time is that it's terrible time for the point that he brought out so in just a full full disclosure here don henley did have some issues with the media i i as like that were deserve yeah you probably aware deserve yeah probably not a good no or you know uh but now in the media we're seeing that social justice warriors are going after elvis presley his forty year anniversary of was there was here for is was a wednesday this search through nineteen august sixteen nineteen 77 elvis presley died losing and what are they what are they going effort or a felipe this uh they are pissed off because elvis uh has a reputation of king of rock and roll but it's been tarnished because he appropriated.
