"That's so sweet where you heartbroken. No arctic off. I had a ford steamatic text to these photos. Jobs please just bound the five maps. My stepfather mailed me maps. Think about how we have. Gps today i just found the five maps in a big number one circle number two circle. I add to follow this map to drive from bagasse to mobile without getting killed. That is the sweetest thing in your stepfather. Put that together for us like a care package. Yes and i couldn't believe i just found them. I was showing my boyfriend. Like these are the maps calls. That's the matter that dick sent me. How nice that is actually so kind. This is before gps. I remember the big thomas guides. So you're no sense of direction. So how i even got hers grace but you made. It is the pd that said no go to mobile. Is he still in the business. No he is not okay outlasted him a good for you good for you. That's that's sweet payback. So you in. The festiva arrive in mobile. What was that like. I mean that's a big big change. You've gone now from green bay to vegas which couldn't be any different and now to mobile which is completely different again. Oh the humidity cianci. I was all it was crazy. And i couldn't understand anything but everybody. Everybody had that thick southern accent. And then. I was like a yankee right because i still had my thick like wisconsin all. Hey there guys. Thanks for math and my first day was april. I you know the more that i start telling me stories. How did i even make it through. Life were having this worst. Dj on the planet kind of contest. And guys you should hear my first break on sunny. It's so bad and they go down. I go no. I'm telling you it's bad. We'll fast over chachi. I one because my name was lorrie on the radio in las vegas and they changed it to randy in mobile we could use it and they didn't recognize it was me in every listener was like that so bad. Hemery me and i won. I won like the worst. Dj on the planet you one mobiles worst dj and. I don't think i've told this story for probably twenty five years but i won san diego's worst. Dj almost the exact same time in nineteen. This must been like nineteen ninety-seven nine hundred ninety eight something like that. But i won san diego's worst. Dj the north county times anointed me san diego's worth dj. So i had no idea that we shared these very prestigious titles together. Do you still have any of your brakes. Because i would love your that. I do a few years ago. I actually had them all digitized their all on cassette. So i do somewhere on my hard drive. I have all the brakes and the horrific. I was never particularly good on air. But you were. I mean you've had a storied career on air. Walk me through how you transition from mobile to tampa great story chachi blend that everybody should listen to specifically more women. I think that us women sometimes battle this lack of confidence. And i don't even know where that comes from but we do and here's how it almost didn't happen one of the best parts of my career. It was nineteen ninety-five greg. Glaspie was our consultant at rockwood four. He called he said. Jacor is gonna launch a very in your face morning and we all have decided. You're the perfect person to match with this pretty loud mouth. Shot jocks guy. They weren't saying any names or anything. And i wouldn't have known anyway except really was still too young in the business. I said oh. Greg i would never be good enough. I could never make the leap from mobile alabama to tampa. I couldn't and he said you know what i don't have time for this and he hung up. You're trying to talk him out of hiring you. I was like i'm not good enough and i was like wait a minute and so we get back on the phone and you call them back. I don't i don't have time for this. You are an exceptional talent. But if you don't believe i can't help you and i just stopped me in my tracks. It's one of those watershed moments and i said okay. I'll put something together. I taped together. The next thing you know. They hired me instantly and did not play me bubbas tapes until they hired hitting no. I was being aired with the confidence. I find very interesting because you said at the beginning when we were talking about your childhood that your parents really had to push you out of the nest to go to las vegas as a kid did you. Not a lot of confidence. I don't know like you know. I think i was a cheerleader. Right confidence i get in front of everybody and do stupid cheers knowing you and obviously i've just really gotten to know you over the last six months or so but i find to be incredibly confident and we really command a room. You are very bright and so it's fascinating to me that younger. Laurie didn't have that. How did you learn those skills. Well age and faith. There are still moments where my palms get sweaty free kobe when we would actually get to see each other in speak. There's there's moments that. I just did so nervous before i speak and then once i hear my voice and i start. You know finding a rhythm that i'm fine but it was pretty paralyzed in my twenties. Now as i'm older really is just age. A hundred percent. Believing in what i say. I have seen where i have stumbled at times. Speaking and it's because maybe i wasn't really prepared or maybe i didn't really believe in what i was saying. So it's probably age believed in what you know. And then your faith in god i find your guess would be your attitude by find it very charming and there's something about you have a charisma. That's very endearing and Someone you've just really kind of a immersed herself into our culture so well and i want to open up to you and entrust you and so. I don't know if that was something that was god-given or a craft that you've honed in over the years or maybe a combination thereof. But i do find it very impressive because it isn't easy to come into a new organization and immediately have people i guess. Trust you or to gel with them immediately and so maybe it's just part of that kind of mid west Charm that you have green bay thing and yeah one area. I do believe i. You know what you're just talking about. Some things are just inherent and there. Is this plug grand card down. And he's trying to teach people how to be obsessed with themselves but not not in an egotistical way. It really is how little we think about ourselves and so the book is like. Oh my gosh be obsessed or be mediocre something like that if people google grant card on bill c. I think he's on a big airplane or something but there are forty one questions in this book. And you're supposed to answer these questions every single day for thirty days around the same time and one of the questions was what you just asked in a way. It's what is something about you. That's just natural. What's an inherent skill. I always say consideration and being able to come at people their point of view and not mine and so sometimes in life we get those little gifts so it's think it's maybe more of a natural thing. What did your parents do for professions. My stepfather is retired firefighter. My mother was in human resources in my late. Father was a factory worker at general motors and clinton michigan pretty close with all of them. Yes yes there were times in. My twenties chachi is that. I wouldn't talk to anybody over the weekend but my parents so yeah. We're very close so you get to tampa. You've you know you've been hired to do mornings. You were obviously frightened. Or you didn't have the belief at that moment in.

"Are you really? Okay? Thank you. Okay. Everything's gonna be okay. Are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine. I'm pretty far from okay. Are you okay? With this? On the hammer and idols? Hemery server was fired, fired. She was fired after she shared a viral video of Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts. In a sports bar without a mask. This was on Election day, lady tweeted out the video of Governor Rick It's with a group of massless diners asking, quote eight. Pete, Where's your mask? She's been fired. For violating social media policy. The restaurant, are you okay with it? I'm okay with this. I understand why people are going to be upset, but the restaurant said they had a policy of no cell phones while you work. And I know if I'm sitting somewhere to bar I don't want somebody taking a random photo of me. Now I'm well aware that this governor Pete Ricketts is probably a hypocritical piece of crap. But find me a politician. That's not I just don't like going into the business of taking photos and shaming people publicly unless they've done something personal to use. Not. Ricketts is Republican That's resisted calls for a mass mandate in Nebraska. So it's like it doesn't even make sense almost that she would Server were tweeted because he hasn't been telling me. Okay, then, If that's the case, then it goes back to the store policy. If the store's policy or the restaurant's policy is, look, I don't care what's going on. I don't care if Matthew McConaughey walks in here, you don't have your cell phones out while you work and she gets it out. Well, I'm sorry. There are rules. I mean, it's like the diner. That was you know where Newsome was having dinner, the French laundry there that one of those expensive restaurants in the world right on Dat was that wasn't somebody that works there. That was somebody else that was having dinner there at that place. Because you have, like you said. He is very hypocritical. He was there in a large group more than 10 massless indoors, he said. It was outdoors very just very holier than thou rules for thee, but not for me type of thing. I'm fine with that kind of thing. I am too. But then you can't complain if you lose your job, though. You see what I'm saying? Like if the restaurant clearly states you cannot have your phone out. And you say you know what? Screw it. I don't care. I'm going to show the world that our leaders not wearing a mask here. Then you're saying damn the torpedoes! Let's go! But in this case, it's bizarre in Nebraska, because it's kind of an anti, you know, mask mandate guy and she took the photo anyway. But you know if that were your restaurant and your employees getting their phone out all the time, right? What would you do if you don't want? You know what? Anybody taking pictures of people that were in the restaurant and you know those of your customers? My customer's always right right now. If this governor Pete Ricketts had done something to this employee or something like that, all right, game on, you know, blank me blank you, but it sounds like you know, she just did it to try to get some clicks on social media. If he had called from asked mandates and gatherings less than eight and things like that, like Newsome does then maybe, but still it was against the policy of the restaurant. So and I'm reading now that she's asking for donations. Wind to stay afloat because she's claiming I'm a single mother and I'm having a hard time..

Nicodemus at our lord's trial before pilots a woman named veronica testified quotes twelve years. I was in an issue of blood. And i only touched the edge of his garment and directly. I was cured and quote. Apparently the tradition of saint veronica being the Hemery is more popular in the east than in the west. The fourth century historian you. Cbs relates quote for. They say that the woman with an issue of blood who has learned from the sacred gospel received from our saviour deliverance from her affliction came from this place. And he's talking about cesar phillipine and that her house is shown in the city and that remarkable memorials of the kind of the savior to her remain there for their stands upon an elevated stone by the gates of her house abrazen image of a woman kneeling and her hand stretched out as if she were praying opposite. This is another upright image of a man made of the same material. Clothed decently in a double cloak and extending his hand towards the woman at his feet beside the statue. Itself is a certain strange plant which climbs up to the him of the brazen cloak and is a remedy for all kinds of diseases. They say that the statute an image of jesus is remained to our day so that we ourselves also saw it when we were staying in the city. This is you see be starting in the fourth century now later on julian the apostate Would destroy the statue and replace it with one of himself. the showing. What a narcissist is as well as a blasphemer all right. So that's all about this woman. The amory's now i point out before we go to mark's gospel a couple more things than the minstrels and the multitude making a route. It's saint matthew. Mentions the minstrels. The others don't mention minstrels but they but saint mark mentioned there's a tongue malt the people weeping and wailing much saint. "Mean we're not here to talk about that. Pay Attention. Carriage Avenue. So I had an English patched version. This probably easier a years have been on there for a while though. So you you have three to character you have three care. Can they all have some kind of like story line like ones American Monster Hunter and all sorts of stupid crap. But the idea is that the world's been overrun by these monsters because some portal has been opened honestly no one cares about story is not what your plan to beat him up. So it's just the weirdest game starts off like any like any any whore thing you have to start in a hostile? Yeah. That's what this game hits. You right away like a starts off your the first level you're in a van running over zombies you crash into a into a glass wall. What you do? And right away the first right you're gonNA. See Zombie spitting out something and everything is Gory and bloody and zombies are missing arms and it is just the perfect game. It really is like you said earlier, the SPRITZ are really fantastic. The way is obvious kinda either fall apart or melts or whatever. Like every seemed like every enemy had multiple animations that could go through when they die. They also can. There's Party of elevators it just drop off. And SAMIS can go in the ground for some reason and then pop the sit there and you can kick them like it is just is very gruesome looking game I'm watching it right now talking. I didn't figure out that attack you like at least with the girl character you could jump and hit down and attack and you just Kinda like stop them into the ground. Then you can kick their heads and did that is pretty entertaining like you've even worked on most of the bosses. That's cool. I mean it's just it's really you need and I feel like nine people have even heard this game existed. I had apparently heard him and then completely forgot about it. Yeah. Missile stick with you though I like I said, I played it once before and here I am playing it all over again. I did not expect to sit down and play this on Wednesday today. I didn't either. I mean I know you're an Hemery won the comments you make is as you're playing this game like any beat him up, you'll find healing items throughout the game and just game. It's food. I said in like this game more than any other beat him up I would not eat for slide around diseases, blood and guts and viscera flying everywhere slug. nope. No. Thank you. I mean, this is a really unique game. If you have clear all attacks that you can do that costs health, of course, because you know to beat them up I mean it's a very, very unique I would say in the fact that it never came to it only ever came to America until recently until Johnny Arcade switch couple years ago. Yeah. Imagine with all the blood and Gore probably didn't pass sensors even back then. I mean you know? Well, no, we're okay with Gore. We just don't like sex in America. Sex Scary one. We don't want our kids to see a nipple can see blood and guts but no nipple as much. censored splatter house like a they would have been double doing double duty for this game. Yeah..

If I go to her section Section two in the lawsuit in this federal complaint And again I wantto caution everybody that this is a lawsuit. This is prepared on behalf of the plaintiffs. So these are the plaintiffs complaints and you're innocent until proven guilty. These are allegations from The complaint in and doesn't necessarily make everything fact. At this point. These are just allegations that could be true or they could be false or the truth could be somewhere in the middle. It goes on to say regarding Ed Henry. Ms Eckhart was not the only victim of Fox News is willingness to look. The other way is complaints of sexual harassment mounted against Mr Henry. Miss. A rule was victimized as well. In particular, Mr Henry sent Miss Haru, a slew of wildly inappropriate sexual messages. And Ah ah, uh, sexually inappropriate sexual images and messages, which are in her possession. Ah, throughout the first half of this year, so this is pretty fresh. And what was that? So Right? All right. Sue says to be very careful with the next part. Yeah. Oh, boy, some of this language. I'm not comfortable with. Yeah, of a close up photograph of Ah, woman. On private parts. A photograph of an individual wearing a mask with a with male genitalia instead of a nose has all kind. There's a lot of detail here. And language that I'm not gonna be comfortable in mentioning on the air. Ah, yeah, they're just multiple bullet points with what she's claiming. I'm trying to scroll down here, so all this is has to do with it. With us. That's with Ed Henry. Then then it it's a Zeiss scroll down, it says Mr Henry is far from the only Fox news anchor who subjected Miss a route to sexual harassment. She was also subjected to inappropriate sexual harassment and retaliation by Mr Hannity, Mr Carlson and Mr Kurtz and Deano cold. Well, I don't know who that is. In regard to Sean Hannity and again, these are allegations Sean Hannity is not guilty until he is proven guilty. S O again. The same thing with Tucker Carlson. But it does say Missa ruin the complaint. Mr. Roux was a relatively regular face on the Sean Hannity show until March 8. 2018. On that day, Mr Hannity on set and in front of the entire studio crew and completely unsolicited. Through $100 on the set desk. He began calling out to the men in the room and demanding that someone take miss Haru out on a date for drinks at Del Frisco's. He repeatedly yelled, Who wants to take her on a date? Take her on a day to Del Frisco's Mr Ruiz completely mortified and made clear that she was incredibly uncomfortable with Mr Hannity's Misogynistic behavior by quietly pleading with one of her friends in the room to accept the money so that the humiliation would end to make matters worse. Mr Rule was Stock and could not even leave because Mr Hannity engaged in this conduct while she was hooked into studio equipment that could have only been removed by a stagehand. Ah,.

"Listening to the Hemery Nigel begging three. Jason hammers very special guest book Martin from which TV's. Join us brooking. You know, first of all thank you for coming in today. I it's it's an honor to be here you got it was around November of last year. You share just a heartbreaking family nouncement with your viewers for somebody? That might not have heard about your journey your family's journey. And maybe they're they've been wondering where we've been way off the air. Tell us a little bit about about where you've been in. What happened? Okay. I'll give you the short version in October. I was I was pregnant had announced it on air and went in for bronchitis of all things, and my nurse said. Hey, while you're here. Let's Neak in for an ultrasound to see the baby. And we did and very unexpected diagnosis was given that our daughter had an encephalitis. And so that's a condition of pretty rare condition where her skull just doesn't develop along with the rest of her body. And so we were forced with. That tough decision of just where where do we go from here? And what do we do? And we we decided to carry her full-term or as long as as she was she would live, and she didn't she she went full term we delivered March. Fifteenth little minoa was born. And she was with us for twenty one minutes she passed in her daddy's arms. Brooke Martin of wish TV joining us. Take me through that decision process. I can't imagine what it's like to go through a decision like that. What all went into it whether other options, and ultimately, why did you decide to do what you did? It's a big question. And and it's good one. Because what we learned through that process is it's a bit of a blur. When you get a diagnosis like that. And so the only thing I kept hearing was zero chances survival. And so I thought okay zero that means she's gonna she's gonna pass in utero, you know, soon. And then what do we do? And and it took us, frankly, a couple days to kind of wrap our heads around what this meant and to even understand that she could survive a full. Term. And so I was looking at her moving as I was getting that diagnosis because I was in the ultrasound room, and I saw her moving there. It was my daughter. I just do that was not a decision for us to make at that. And here's the thing when I say that because people say, oh, you're so brave. You're you're so strong. I have such an empathy in heart for parents who go through these types of diagnoses because I understand that you are in shock. You are you are in a blur. You're getting all different kinds of advice, depending on the hospital. It could be different types of advice. And so I I've had I've heard different stories along the way of similar situations. But that have they've made different decisions. None is easy. And in it's heartbreaking, and it's painful, but I hope that Emma story just shows the incredible the incredible purpose that each life has and we've just experienced that way way more than we could have even fathomed. So. We're we're obviously extremely thankful. We made the decision we did. And we got twenty one minutes with her Brooke talk a little bit more about a baby and his diagnosis. You said it was rare. Yeah. It is rare. It's about one in ten thousand I believe in and I don't know what causes it or how it happened. Yeah. It's a neural tube defect. And so what you'll hear anyone who has had an innocent baby. They'll take full asset. That's what they keep telling you afterwards for future, pregnancies. So it's some type of there's some type of connection. It is not genetic in any way, we did all the testing to make sure of that. But yeah, it's it's a rare disorder and really what happens is the rest of their body is completely normal and healthy except for the top of their hedges for some reason does not develop and obviously can't survive. Brooke Martin the anchor at wish TV eight our news partners. Joining us here on the hammer and Nigel show. So you've taken some time off work. And while you were coming up the elevator. Speak with us. Here. You told me you wanted to stay working the entire time. Well, my Nishel reaction when you hear this type of news. And you know, we we've had an eight months to process this, right? So it's not like this was an unexpected. So I've been thinking about this. And I thought initially I went to our HR person. And I said I said, so I assume I just come back to work after she said, what do you mean come back to work after and I said, well, you know, I I won't have a child to care for it. She said Brooke, and she one of a couple of people who said this. I'm so thankful she did she said take as many days possible that you can take it all you'll need to heal. Not only physically but emotionally, and man, it is just been. Yeah. It's been huge blessing to just be able to be off. You know, how you you're not. You don't have to be on TV. That's something. You're you're always having to be on. And it's been it's been awesome. Not having to worry about that. Brooke? I thought it was thought it was really sweet that you had David barris. The retired wish TV anchor longtime wish TV anchor help you. Make the announcement with your initial interview. Why did you do that for you? Dave is one of my best friends. And he yeah, that's probably the short answer. But we just we had dinner a couple of weeks ago. And he said, he either think about how our paths cross and how he became such good friends you ever think that you know, it's just one part of the story of of that God knew that you would be going through this isn't. Yes, I think about that all the time because you need people in your corner when you go through something like this that our family to you and Davis family to me. And so he helped me make the announcement. And then at the celebration of life on Saturday. He put together kind of a whole recap of our journey in video story form that will air Saturday actually just posted a preview on macneice book page, and I want to talk about that celebration. It's happening Saturday in just a moment. But before we do that why go public with this? This is such a private this is such a personal deal with you and your husband and your family. Why put it out there because I felt I had to. I mean, I'm growing on air, right? The people knew I was pregnant. I honestly it was probably a bit of a selfish decision. I just thought do I wanna be fielding questions of? Oh, what do you do? How far log, you know, is it a boy or girl. Do I want to be doing that for eight months in lying to people know? And you know, this was our reality. We share the good things all the time on social media. We're going to be honest. We're going to share the bad things. And that's that's the approach. I took through this whole journey was I said, Brooke do not post anything.

"Second Shelly showdown nine hundred fifty bucks today, if you can stop her and five questions fourteen day win streak, and by the way, we have a rule change just to announce this time. By that we rematch, and we rematch until somebody wins. So that's our new annual. Everybody knows seven forty five showbiz Shelly show. Hemery marie. Hi doing well, some high. Hi, Marcel up was just on with us. Her husband. I guess as with which she considers to be a legitimate problem. Three to five boxes at day show from online shopping, and it's not that they necessarily need most of the time. It's stuff that he quote unquote that a deal on the they don't even use. What do you do about this? I think he should wait like maybe like three weeks when he's actually like forgotten about that stuff. And just put it on go. Yeah. But that's something. She shouldn't have to do for her. Plus, but that's the I mean, you really think he's he doesn't think the problem, but we need to get to the root of the problem and not just kind of like gives her an actual John still gonna lose margin. You know, she's not making money. It's still going to cost money by stuff, and then resell it, and how do we do that forever? Yeah. One more thing. She has to do. How do we? I don't know if if he doesn't think it's a problem. The person has actually realize that he has a problem, actually, fix it. Thank you Marie. Glad you call a good day. Actually. Actually, what is is this somebody you can relate to someone in your life. As it you that has online shopping problem. Not so much anymore. But what I do. Now is I actually make an Amazon like wishlist things that I like and I want and I'll go through it randomly like picking two saints off. And then I use it for like birthday ideas or Christmas ideas. And I mean one for my daughter to birthday birthing Christmas, and just you know, kinda helps the habit a little bit. And I like one of those people that like spoiler. So if I see somebody bought something for me, I can look at it and see. Wishlist to yet. I can see that would give you some satisfaction though. Because it's sort of like, you're shopping. You're picking things you're putting them on a place, but you're not actually buying them. You know at that moment. So it kind of I can see how that would you get that sense that you're you're buying stuff. But you're not really nothing. I've noticed too is this for me personally, like if I wanna buy something on on a whim at an instant if I don't buy it. But like leave the page up on my browser on my phone for a day or two or five if it's still there, and I'm still thinking about it a week later, the maybe I should buy but most of the time by the time in a couple of days goes by and I'm going through my phone. I see that it's still up. I just closed. I didn't I didn't want it that badly at the time. I did. But then I didn't buy and then I'm fine with it. And it's over the being able to record as the hard part. Thank you. Welcome guys today. Maybe if you made it also good, or if you made a physical list of everything you've bought, maybe maybe by the time at the at the end of the month when you looked at that list and realize I bought all this crap. Maybe it would look like. Yeah. That you'd say, okay. You realize how much he spouted Sapir this down. Yeah. Hey, katrina. Hey, so just to recap Marcella called a second ago. Her husband has an online shopping problem. We're talking three to five bucks a day of stuff that they don't need shows up at their house. She's not sure what to do what you think. Right. So my dad prevent like fifty bucks. A candy. One time by an extra live one thousand dollars eight hundred. Yeah. I cannot do like I don't know how to stop him. And you're like, okay, we're gonna put parental control on there. Because obviously like. Like, I will give him like. Bonsack handle like actor relies or or like his games wild that you have to do this for your father. You crazy. Because otherwise, it'd be like, okay. There's something about the online stuff or on the phone or on the apps or whatever where you're not really seeing not money no credit card in the money. The cash is in coming out of the wallet in. So you're not going through the physical pulling it out of your person doesn't feel like you're spending it, and then it just adds up adds up. And you're like, holy crap. I spent a thousand dollars on candy crush with house wrong with a funny thing like when you not just this other things when you I don't know how old you are. But a point when you realize your parents are adult, and you're an adult and not that you're the same. But it's like you. I'm not supposed to have to to you'll completely your spending. Your the teach me the lessons. I really like I'm learning so much Ibom by mom actually, had brain surgery, and like he wants to do everything. And I'm like mom you need to let us do stuff. She's like, I take care of myself. I don't eat you take care. Parents. Right. She's doing well. And thanks for a great day. Okay. Love you too. Bye. Jessica. What should this woman due before? She goes crazy divorces her husband and takes all the money. Experiencing needs to sit down right now before it becomes an issue and have a conversation with her husband in regards to this spending. And they need to seek out their past my husband, and I were married for ten years, and we are on the we are actually in the process of getting a divorce and now through the divorce process. I found out that he has literally bankrupted our family started. It started with three to five boxes every day. It was just little small miscellaneous stuff. And then finding out that you bought a thirty five hundred dollars sailboat, and you don't know how to sail. All of a sudden, we have a camper that snowing up. And now, we literally are bankruptcy has bankrupted our family. It sounds. Sounds. I had no idea. I thought it was just little small stuff Amazon packages here and there, and then like I said, he I he started hiding things because of work from home or he'd get home before I did there'd be packages that were already opened. I it wasn't until I went to use the credit card for one of my children for braces. Because it was a it was substantial amount of money and my credit card got declined. I called the credit card company, and they literally. You're saying get a hold of this now because otherwise turns sailboats campers I mean, I wish him the best in his future. I'm very proud of him that he's in therapy and stuff now, but it's all from his point of view it stemming from low self esteem he uses the purchases as a way of making himself feel better too high. It's an addiction. See what's her husband, and she wants a future with her husband holding this in a is not good because creating resentment and herself be needs to reach out and have a conversation with us about the spending. And they need to figure out if it's something more dates they need to go to fair before. Just. Good luck. Good luck. Jessica. Thank you. Thanks for calling back. We'll do the entertainer.
