"In the three wherever you get your podcasts. You can listen ad free on the Amazon music or wondery app. Hello, Raj. This is Frank from kennebunk main crystal palace supporter just back from London where I was fortunate enough to see that Everton Crystal Palace draw rather drab boring affair, but was rewarded with an exciting four three win over West Ham, Roy had a skip in his step. David Moyes had aged at least 20 years during the 90 minutes. My question for you is this. We know William Prince of Wales is an Aston Villa fan. If you had to assign a Premier League club or maybe even a championship or a lower level club to King Charles the third, who would it be? And what about Camilla? Perhaps Harry, even Meghan Markle, answer whichever ones you want or don't want, I want to know how they match up to clubs in your mind. Courage. God, I'm going up to Vermont. I think June the first is it to spend some time with him on. FC I can not wait to be in your corner of this beautiful nation, and thanks for the generosity of mercy via eagles to my Everton. You ask a question about the coronation, good lord, tune in to Liverpool's game against Brentford this weekend just to hear how Liverpool fans. That proud northern city that I come from, one of the most anti monarchical in the nation, just isn't how they treat the national anthem, which will be compulsorily played before kick-off. That will give you a sense of how nuanced how complex this moment is in Britain and the moment, and I'll be honest. I don't know much about the royals. And whenever there's royal news, I always get asked to go on like CNN or the news networks and talk about the royals and I have to politely explain I'm probably not the man. But I do know Prince William is legit proper Aston Villa him and Hanks, and that Prince Charles, this is quite funny. Has been reportedly advised by consultants to position himself as proper Burnley to play down his noble blue blood brand, connect himself to something authentically working class and northern, which is quite hilarious because, well, let's be honest, bran wise, Charles is this Chelsea. In this moment, a thing that spent way too much money on itself and is completely out of touch with reality, which brings us to a gen who clearly would love to be king Todd Burley. His team traveled to Bournemouth Saturday 10 a.m. Eastern Time on peacock on a run incredible 6th street defeats for super Frank Lampard, his Chelsea. No less a football team, more and moral reckoning. And when I was a kid, I used to read a lot of aesop's fables, like the boy, with the wax wings, who flew too close to the sun or the dog with a bone that fell in love with its own reflection. Chelsea's football club fits right in there. Really, a thing transformed into an Army of the Dead by top buildings interim sporting director bombast and hubris building spoke yesterday at that well-known football fan culture driven milk in institute global conference and he muttered the following the fans are demanding. And they want to win. And we get that. We want to win. So I think our view though was that this is a long-term project. And we're committed to the long term. And we very much believe that we're going to figure it out. Wow, just wow. I've got to be honest, I was shocked to hear him that this is a gen who still doesn't clearly have the right team around him to tell him that in this moment after spending the last 11 months really just taking a once feared for some burying it alive in an avalanche of silly money. Stop speaking at rich guys conferences that are far, far away from your team's fans. Spend time instead connecting to them. Make bridges. Look at the rhone Reynolds Rob McElhenney playbook stop talking about the team as if it's a brand brand London. Stop talking about it as if it's alive entertainment platform that you're running and let my politic go. You want to know what top Billie sounds like when he opens his mouth at these leadership conferences. It's this. Big shoes. Big, big shoes. Big, big shoes. Big, big shoes. One more question, please. Roger, manipulators, community. This is Strowman from favorable Arkansas. I am a proud evergen SE of supporter. I don't really have a question today. I just wanted to call and just let everyone know that being an ever contend is hard, but being a fan is of anything create an opportunity to have community with other people and I just wanted to call and express my gratitude to you, roger and to you Devo and Jonathan, JW. And everyone who's in the MIT community for everything, you all do to promote the sport in America. And to promote a sense of love and acceptance for everyone who chooses to support the sport everywhere. We are all fans because we want to find common ground with other human beings. And after today's result, two two draw with lesser, I was reminded of that particular thing. What it is to be an evertonian and what it is to be a football fan. Which takes tremendous courage and I think that it's such a great word that you use, so I just wanted to call and say, thank you. Thanks to everyone who does it support Everton, but hopes they don't go down. And no matter what happens, I know that I and so many others will have a community because of all the love and support that you all have created. So that's all I have. I just wanted to say that and roger, I am thinking of you and that and your mom and your family, we are all together no matter what happens. Courage. Strowman, you are a beautiful bloat. I adore his sentiment. I'm so bloody appreciative of your kind words. This dark dark time. If Ted Las taught us anything, it's at football ultimately is life. That's what's great about it. And I want to end with a taste of one of my favorite interviews of this Premier League season, the one I had this week with none other than Ted Lasso stars and creators, Jason Sudeikis, and Brendan hunt, my mate, a conversation in which the two gents discussed their tonal inspiration for the Emmy winning series, which real life football has based on. And what it's like to meet fans of the show, AKA Jürgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta. If you want to feel a bit better about life, a lord, I know I need to find this podcast in this stream where we will go and look at it on our YouTube page. It's a conversation filled with humor and humanity in equal measure. This is rod, pray for Everton, big, big love, and courage. Here's the diamond dogs. You know, it's funny to me when we see the odd social media troll complaining about this football fact we got wrong or not, but like, oh yeah, you know who doesn't mind? Jürgen Klopp, man. They let it slide. They see what we're doing here. Why don't you take a look? Hey prime members, you can listen to men in blazers, ad free.

"Offensive linebackers. They got this guy named moon ashby, which I think is like a diamond. That's in the rough couple years ago. I think he was in the Polynesian bone with an all star. But the guys explosive hue freeze can explore probably moon, Asheville, the quarterback, like I said from Washington state. And even if he lives towards Troy, I think they had like a guy who was a four star ranking named Peter that may be available just, you know, the portal is good, but then like I said, slim pickings because most everybody have already picked who they wanted to pick. But I think that all of them, we just want to have to be patients as fast because he's in rebuild state that's going to take a couple of years for him to reveal. Lakeisha, really, really a fantastic point. Thank you very, very much and look forward to chatting again soon Raj is in Texas. You're on the air. Hello Raj. Hello. Hey, what's up? I just ordered to talk to you today about arch Manning and a quarterback situation at Texas. What do you think about the Texas longhorns? Bringing in the arts Manning and you think that he has a chance to beat out when you would put a starting job. Rajah, I don't think so right away. I think Quinn is his established himself. I think he's a really good quarterback. I think it's going to take a little bit of time, but I think it's just depends on how well the longhorns are playing. If they slip up somewhere and they have a challenging schedule at Alabama at Houston, the usual suspects everywhere else, I think you might see him come in, but I do not believe he'll be the starter at the beginning of the season. Right in flight for I believe that arch Manning is a very talented football player, but in my opinion, I think that when yours has the job, right? He is proven himself as the wadi started, but excuse me. Art Manning does have a chance. If when you start playing, offer or below below the standard of Texas football, navigate Manning will get a shot being his uncle's automatic and they sold him the way. Super Bowl winners, right? Correct. Listen, Raj, thank you. Appreciate the call. We have some more time for you to get in and some lines. The lines are here at 855-242-7285. Plenty more to do, including some guests from the next couple of hours, the archbishop and the final hour. We have already spoken to you freeze. We're back with your phone calls right after this. You were listening to the Paul fine bomb show podcast. You don't know we know how to party. And don't forget the premiere of rally cap. This Sunday 5 p.m. and we walking me back here on a Friday we talked to Hugh freeze earlier, a couple of ideas he had about spring games. Does anyone really want to see first you really want to see the spring game? I guess you do if you're a fan, but do you really want to see anyone other than your own team isn't? Isn't that the purpose of a spring game to go back to your school? The school you're a fan of and get a good look at the players and have fun. Do you really care that much about a game? I'm not sure I really understand, I mean, I know what free said and if there's some benefits of it from a financial standpoint and a charitable standpoint. But I asked the question, are these games really that important? Do you want to go see it's not like you're seeing your team scrimmage a good team? You're more than likely going to see them scrimmage. If you're auburn, you're going to play Troy if you're Alabama, you'll end up playing north Alabama. I mean, I have no idea. I mean, I don't know if there were legitimate games tomorrow. There would be that much conversation about it. I just asked the question, to me, spring is just for fun and frivolity. Let's get your kids, your grandkids, and make a trip back to Knoxville or Columbia or starkville or anywhere else just because it's normally a pretty day and you get a chance to get a quick look at a quarterback situation, but would you get as honest a look if it was a game that somehow would matter, just a question. Anyway, back to the calls at 8 5 5 two four two 7 two 8 5. Let's check in with Ronald, who is in Birmingham, a hello, Ronald. Hey Paul, how you doing? We were doing great. Thank you very much. Okay, I'm calling. I am a huge Alabama basketball fan. But I'm just calling as a whole, do you think the transfer for the damage done damage to college athletics? Right now we have about a thousand kids that in the transport Portland basketball. I do not think it's suing damage. Ronald, I mean, I think it causes issues for respective coaches, but it also gives you opportunities in basketball, especially because one player in basketball can make a significant difference. I mean, we saw that in the tournament with San Diego stay with Connecticut with Miami, call us other schools. So I really, I think it's an opportunity for players if they're not going to play to go somewhere else. I'm a big believer in that. Now it creates chaos and it takes away from what we're used to, which is getting to know the players over a three to 5 year period, but that's just the new normal. And it could be managed better, but I don't think it's going away. Okay, so do you think it needs to be regulated? Well, the only thing you can't really do anything more than put restrictions in there right now. And right now, the restrictions are you have a designated period like in football, the window opens here in a couple of weeks. It's a finite window of about two weeks. I think the problem last year was it was just endless. You could go, it went on for an indeterminate period of time. The most dangerous window is right after the season where you're trying to recruit, you're trying to get ready for a bowl game. And your players are being poached right out from under your nose. Okay. All right. Thank you, Paul. Thank you. I appreciate your call. Appreciate it very much. Reverend Phil is up next. Phil good afternoon. Hey Paul. I want to talk about something that doesn't have much to do with sports. Is that ever happened on this show before? But today would be the day for that. Okay. No, my parishioners have this kind of endearing but challenging habit of giving me books that they want me to read because they mean something to them and so I often have this stack of books that I'm trying to get to and I pulled one off this week and it's by guiding John Archibald. He's a commonest columnist for the Birmingham paper. Yes. Absolutely. I just wondered if you knew him. I do know John very well. He's a very accomplished, you want to Pulitzer Prize a couple of years ago. I have not read his book, but I know it came out about two years ago. Have you looked at it? Yeah, I just started reading about a third of the way through it. It's a great book. I don't remember what it was about. I know it was about something from a historical standpoint in Birmingham. Yeah, I mean, it's about Birmingham and its role in the civil rights struggle. More so about his father, who was a methodist minister and when John became an adult, he began to feel some frustration that his father had never spoken out about it. I mean, he loved and respected his father greatly, but then came to realize he didn't fully understand it. So let me ask you a question. And I'm not laughing because it's a serious issue, but how many times have you heard someone say something very similar to that? Oh. A thousand times to me.

"When you sleep is something it's kind of a mental martial arts technique, and a number of psychics have told me over the years that they do that every night. Let's go to the phones. Let's start by going to bill in Los Angeles to get us started high Bill Lori as a former reporter myself, Columbia J. School 86. I was kind of interesting that you mentioned this chemists calculate your the only other person I've heard familiar with that story. For the record, the source that I read about him and I don't have a computer. I'm doing it by memory. He was staring into a fire when he came up with his chemical solution for for the molecule. He was looking at it to my knowledge. It was not a dream, but that's just kind of a minor thing. My my main concern is something you said. About not letting logic talk you out of what your sixth sense is saying, And I would argue that the six cents maybe a good supplement to logic. But I would go with Aristotle, who said nobody ever broke logic, But that logic didn't break him first. Well, I think we need both. This is why I know when I did corporate trainings. I mean, we did high performance thinking, um, you know, learning how to use logic and intuition. Carl, You said that intuition or the sixth sense is a way that we take in information about the world. And then we organized that information using primarily our logic, what he called a thinking function and or our emotional intelligence or the feeling function. So, but sometimes you know, we were are six cents and we I've interviewed and in my book, six cents unlocking your ultimate mind Power I've interviewed of first responders and veterans. And people who said that it was that split second of inner knowing they didn't know where it came from. That actually saved their life. So, um, yes, Theoretically, A. We need both in order to lead a balanced life. I would totally agree with you, but sometimes you get that sudden flash of knowing and it's part of your survival. Network of intelligence is I think the name of that movie I was mentioning. It's called inception came out in 2010 inception was gorgeous. That was a great movie. Yeah, stealing secrets and things entering people's brains and their dreams is that possible? I think it is possible. I I hope it never happens to anybody listening, But I do think it is possible just as we can receive messages from spiritual beings from angels from guides from power animals and from loved ones on the other side. Let's go to Brendan in Austin, Texas, one of our favorite towns. Hi, Brandon. A brand a Thanks George and Doctor Nady. El Inception was a really good movie. I really liked that movie. That was a big inspiration for me to get into lucid dreaming. But real quick. I have two questions and My first question is what is the prevalence with a D H D and people with the SP And my second question is How do people with chronic anxiety? Uh like Generalized anxiety or PTSD. How can they be helped by ESPN? Thank you. Okay, Let's take anxiety first. Uh, if we can, Lori Um, you know, there's a very interesting relationship between intuition and anxiety of and and it's a number of studies show that intuitive people. Tend to have more anxiety. Then people who are more let's say pragmatic or we call them sensing people, you know, people who are more concrete in their thinking. And Carl, You said that intuition is the ability to see around the corner. And when we have anxiety, we're going around the corner and where we are creating a movie of something that hasn't happened yet. And we're actually in the movie, and we're looking at this. This horrible thing that hasn't happened yet, and it's so compelling that the whole body believes that it's already happened. And I always say that, uh um creative people have more anxiety and people who are kind of less creative or, you know, less visionary. Have less anxiety. So I think there's a definitely a relationship between anxiety and intuition and intuitive people very often will come in for help in learning how to tell the difference. Between anxiety and intuition in terms of a D, h d and autism of I don't have any. I don't have any knowledge of that. I'm sorry. What about servants? Do they tend to pick this up a little quicker than people who aren't Well, it depends on what kind of savant they are, You know, as we go back to say, rain man that movie with Dustin Hoffman. A lot of savants have like eidetic imagery. In other words, they they have perfect recall of like by sequences of numbers, for example. But then they're also savants who are brilliant inventors. And I think anything that involves design research and design. Anything that involves, um you know, and a breakthrough. In terms of a new composition or work of art. Anything that hasn't been done before. That kind of survived is definitely working with intuitive intelligence. Let's go to Roger driving near Chicago. Hello, Raj. Go ahead. Raj still with us? Nope. He's not there. It's tried. Joe Long Island, New York. Hey, Joseph. Go ahead, Couple questions, first meditation and drains on the medication. Sometimes you cannot off or you're doing that and have a train that maybe that is more significance. But even if you don't fall asleep, I'm wondering if there is Overlap on pre cognitive material between meditation and drains, Possibly Or that you could derive pre cognitive information just out of the meditation alone. And then on the dreams. A couple of things I'm thinking about one is some trains seemed to be plausible to you where it seems reality base except as an element of two that's introduce that seems Not plausible. And then you know, sometimes you have strangers that might have a characterization that you share with them. But also sometimes strangers are In the distance or in close proximity. I'm wondering if that's uh something significant. And that he got the recurring, annoying, recurring dream that George has mentioned he had about his studies. And your question is, Uh, yeah. Uh, just about the demonstration aspects of a dream where it seems to be demonstrating front thing about you or about a situation. That otherwise just you couldn't really choreograph consciously. Well, I think that's absolutely true. You know, our dreams are helping us to work through, you know, issues and conflicts and and relationships. Um, but when I work when I do dream work with people we work on the model. It says that every symbol in the dream represents a part of yourself. And so, you know, only dream about strangers, whether they're close to us are far away. It would represent aspects of ourselves that we're not in touch with during our waking life, and the dream is bringing them to our attention. That's why it can be very helpful. If you have recurring dreams to kind of Not necessarily right down the whole dream. But write down two or three key words when you wake up or if you wake up in the middle of the night, you know, jot down a few key words and you'll notice if you're of dreaming. If you're having recurring dreams about specific types of strangers, for example, or or specific types of people, maybe angry people are happy people or People riding bicycles, for example, or cats who turn into people. All of these represent aspects of ourselves that we can get to know through doing some active dream interpretation. And the big question. Laurie is how does it work? Hot as pre cognitive dreams work?.

Well there good morning. Good morning. Good. Have you with us? What's going on? Hey, uh, about those, Uh, first of all, where Mr Body really, really like to show Thank you very much water. I appreciate that's very kind of you to say. I'm gonna miss each and every one of you. Okay. Before one Obama was president. My body shop is next. Oh railroad track. Like railroad tracks down here in Sandusky. There was oil tankers on that railroad track all the time. Warren Buffett owns those oil tankers. They've been gone. About a week before the election, they lined up all those oil tankers down their own memorable tracks. And and now that's where the that's Who's that They're rewarding him. This is all these people work. They don't They don't care who they punish. And I get so sick and tired about hearing about what a great investor this guy is. Well, heck, you left you give me those advantages, and I'll be the genius of the world. You're telling me that the instead of a pipeline, which is being banned now by the Biden administration like Keystone XL, and they're trying to do away with line five here in Michigan, you're telling me that You're seeing a lot of tanker trucks that are replacing those pipelines and railroad cars, railroad cars. I see the railroad tankers I see and they're carrying the oil. He's getting rewarded for his donations to the Democratic Party. What he's getting. Yeah, I can see where you'd draw that conclusion for sure. And a real quick one of the thing If you don't mind, I can't believe that woman had the nerve to come on the radio this morning and say that what happened in that election was so good that she wants more of it. You gotta be kidding me. I watched it with my own eyes. I'm one of those guys that when I see something with my own eyes, you can't lie to me and tell me I didn't see it. Why wide did so It seemed this way anyways. I don't know whether you feel the same way. Why do you feel so much of the write in vote those those write in ballots, the absentee ballots, etcetera. Went in the went toward the Democrats. Why do you think that? Well, well, I think that's why they won't let you see him. Because when you find out what they are, you're going to find out that those weren't robot. It's that those things were counterfeit and And It's just ridiculous. If there's nothing there, let us see those damn ballots. Excuse my French. All right here. I hear what you're saying. Are people that stupid? Am I the only person who sees us know that some people are just not as a zoo. Convinced about it is you And so they're not as passionate about like I'm some 60 this year. You can't lie to me about Jimmy Carter. Tell me it was a good president. Come from coal country. Might might. My best friend works in a coal mine. His two sons work in a coal mine. You know, I'm sick and tired of people knocking coal miners easily. The hardest working people you ever meet in your life. Jimmy Carter did the same crap to us back in 79. Well, and these are real people in real jobs You're describing Walter, You're absolutely right. And that's what's got to be remembered. What you hear all of this global warming tripe. I'm sorry to mean your rupture, but you know, when you see people's lives get destroyed. We had 2000 coal miners working in my hometown for consolidation cold and then I'll say one more thing that the vice president said yesterday that these coal miners who go to work reclaiming the land That ignorant woman doesn't realize that they reclaimed the land. They've been doing it for 50 or 60 years. You don't get a hole in the ground and leave when you're done. Those days have been gone for 50 years, so he doesn't get to. These people don't even know they don't even investigate what they're talking about. They have no idea. Yeah, that's that's not surprising when you're talking about politicians of water, you know that. Thank you for the call. Really Appreciate it, my friend. You keep up the fight down there in Sandusky. Okay, let's continue on the phones now And the time we got left a few more calls Sharlene in Troy's next up. Hi, Sharlene. Hi. Good morning, Frank. Morning. Well, I just wanted to talk a little bit more about inflation. Which is a hidden tax because it erodes the purchasing power of the dollar. And you know this is part of the reason why people can't ride by like minimum wage because it just keeps eating into eating and eating away at the purchasing power, and then the politicians that create the problem By creating this inflation come along and feel like they're gonna save everybody And, you know they portrayed the businesses is a bad person, and they're going to save them by increasing their minimum wage. And they're the ones were really Seeing the cost of goods and services in the end. Absolutely, we're not there not only spending our tax money, they're borrowing money from China and Japan and India by selling bonds and spending that Dry and driving up costs. And I think you know, because they control on by the accounting and financial department. They're saying they're saying it places only 3%. Well, I don't believe it. I think it's a lot higher and it's going to get higher without you. No one in our debt is downright scary when you're talking about adding $1.9 trillion in spending. On. That's the latest proposal in Washington. There's no reality. Check out how much money that really is and how long it takes to raise that much money and how much work goes into paying that much in taxes. It just it goes right beyond the politicians. It's just so simple. We're going to give money away. We're going to spend it and you're gonna love us for it. That's the bottom line. Really Thank you for the call. Really Appreciate it And I want to continue in 808 590957 Roger and fair haven next up. Hello, Raj. Morning, Frank. Good to hear your voice. Thank you, sir. But on Thursday last week and again Sunday I was one of 19 drivers that helped move 800. National Guard troops to Detroit Metro airport so they could fly aware the Washington D. C. And when I asked them what their mission was what their assignment was, they said, Well, we really don't know we've been told, but we think we're just being deployed there to protect the capital. Detect the capital. From what What is Mr Biden so afraid of It was all this activity. Necessary for That's it. That's a great question is there is a really any threat right now to the capital? Apparently, Mr Biden thinks so. There are two senators from the state of Michigan. Davy Stab Unknown Gary Peters Wire. The deafening silence is deafening, coming from both of their offices. Bought everything is going on in D. C. All right. I feel your frustration, pal. I really do and I appreciate your attention to it, and it's going to take more people like you to do that and continue to raise the issue before it goes away. Roger Thank you so much. Appreciate it. You take care and keep up the great work on behalf of all of us with your job Driving those charter bus is especially when you transport our troops. The National Guard TOC places like that. Really appreciate. Roger. Thank you. All right. We're gonna run out of time here momentarily. So I'm gonna tell you what. I'm going toe. Uh, calling.
