Charlie Receives a Tsunami of Emails About the Uvalde Police

"We are getting a tsunami of emails, freedom at Charlie Kirk dot com. Every single person, except one who doesn't necessarily disagree, they're just trying to add a different kind of wrinkle to the argument is agreeing. That the police is one of these emails is just hello, Charlie, this story is infuriating to me 5 exclamation points. Police are trained to handle both armed and unarmed perpetrators. There was an all caps, no excuse for failure to act, fire these worthless swine. They're not worth the money or the respect of the citizens of the small town. The parents should band together and pursue legal action against all the cops present. Also get to who, if anyone, and the police brass prevented the cops from entering the school and at least minimizing some deaths, also if possible all the cops who were present, restraining the parents and doing nothing, otherwise should be punished. Shame the bastards. Can I say that on FCC? I think that's okay. I think that's one of the ones that's fine. Keep up the great work, Greg. Another one says this and I want to make sure I say this anonymously because they asked me to do that, but it's a pretty amazing email. Let me try to find this here. They work for a federal agency. Okay, I work for a federal agency. I can't say which, but we've done active shooter drills and our policies are getting inside and stop shooting as soon as possible. Not waiting for S.W.A.T., no waiting for backup, going fast and engage the gunman to the best of your ability. The police officers created a perimeter. They unintentionally I'm not saying they intentionally did it, but they're cowardice did help the shooter. The shooter got more time to be able to kill more kids because of what the police

Charlie Welcomes Arizona's Karrin Taylor-Robson to the Show

"Hello everybody. Welcome back. We are here in my home now, Arizona. I grew up in Illinois, but I chose to live in Arizona. And I could tell you right now, Arizona is like the battleground state of the battleground state of the battleground state. And I really wanted to get kind of a picture of what's happening on the ground in Arizona and kind of the political trends and also someone who's running to be the next governor of Arizona. We've known each other for a long time. We have some awesome mutual friends, Karen Robson, Karen, welcome to the program. Thank you. And your barnstorming the state, whenever I work out, I see your ads on TV and it's compelling and you're getting the message out. Tell us why you're running for governor and then let's get right into what's happening here in Arizona. Well, I'm running for governor because we're being invaded from the south and we're under attack from Washington, D.C.. As you said, I'm a lifelong native, I was born and raised here. I was born and raised in rare. At is rare. 70% of our adult population came from somewhere else. So welcome. Welcome to Arizona. The land of the free and the home of the brave. That's Ronald Reagan used to talk about The Shining city on the hill, and he was referencing America. Well, it's now Arizona. We are The Shining city on the hill, and that is why Arizona is one of the top states for people moving to because people crave freedom. But I've been so lucky my whole life. I've worked since I was a kid. And there was a time I would tell my parents, I was going to write a book about them for making me work, you know, at such a young age because it was some form of child abuse. I'm sure they would be thrown in jail now for putting their 5 year old work, but the book I'm going to read is going to be one about gratitude. And the opportunities I have had my entire life to build a career, I put myself through school, I put myself through law school, built my career, been very successful, and I thank God every day for it. And I see those opportunities slipping away.

Joe Biden; The Most Corrupt President in American History

"Promo code prager. Thank you, Dennis, and it's always a privilege. It never gets old, and it's never unappreciated. Dennis is unique, and there's no one else I'd rather fill in for. Many years ago, actually this house started many years ago Dennis said to me, you know, those are pretty big shoes for you to fill in for. Me, meaning his size. What does that Sean a size 12 size 13? What is this where? I don't even know. But he didn't mean his shoes were so big, right, he meant just, well, maybe he did because he told me I thought 12 or 13, I may be totally wrong. We've got to find that out. But big shoes they are because no one in the media is quite like him, including offering the inside he does in so many issues. So I just try to give you my perspective on life and issues and maybe one of these days my own podcast. You know, with all the teaching and everything else I do, it's been hard to get it going, but we will at some point. In this first hour I talked about whether we need a new Declaration of Independence to take back our country from the left. In this hour I want to talk about the specific charges against the king, because I said, right, the founders revolted rebelled against the king of England. As they seek to control our lives and make us into their left wing utopia. That's what they're doing. But if this is important, if you understand their ultimate goal, they're specific policy disasters, make more sense. You think they failed because they don't work. But they think they succeeded because they've created chaos and disorder. Just as with the policies of the king of England, so many years ago. But of course, Joe Biden is no king. He doesn't have a set of principles and he never did. Actually has one set of principle. That's the grow his principle. If you don't mind the pun. He might be the most corrupt president we've ever had. In any case, he's actually more of a placeholder for the left than anything else. And Kamala Harris, my God. Is she over her head? She must have always want to power to make up for her insecurities, of which there must be many. That's my guess. I'm no psychologist. Sean, do you remember the Peter principal? He's looking at me funny. He's just doesn't look that way. Of course. A quizzical look. It was the Peter principal said that you're doing your job well and then they promote you to the higher job and that's where you fail because you were very good at what you did before, but you're not so good in a promoted role. In my other field as a teacher, you wouldn't believe how many bad a system principles and principles there are. They might have been very good teachers. That's kind of what the Peter principal was. But she was an awful senator if you remember that. And an awful attorney general before that. I think Dennis even debated her once. But yes, you know what she was? A good friend of former speaker of the California assembly, Willie Brown. Actually, I don't know if she was a good friend, Willie Brown. You'd have to ask Willie Brown, right? We don't even know if she was Sean, why are your eyes going like cross eyed? You're not saying anything. Neither am I. But we never checked lily Brown about that. It's hard to believe, though, that these are the highest office holders in our country. They're an embarrassment to our country. But again, they're clearly being controlled by the left. Whether it's Obama, that's my guess, is people or other leftists. Do you remember the event weeks ago where Obama came back? I guess for the first time to visit The White House. And he comes back and everybody's around him and he's up mister terrific. And Joe Biden wandered around looking for someone to say hello to hip, just to say, now that was pathetic to watch. I almost felt sorry for him as bad as he is as corrupt as he is. But of course you have to ask this question. Why does Biden's wife and I kind of hinted at it in the first hour, she must be so obsessed with power to have ever cared about protecting her husband's dignity. What about his dignity? You can say, well, if your mean, you say you'd never had any. But in fact, that defines all of them seeking power to make up for their shortcomings as people. That's what I guess. They seek power to define themselves, especially power over other people. That's my best guess. Let me know what you think. One 8 prager 7 7 6. And it includes people on our side, too. Like Mitt Romney, if I had a guess, if you remember his father didn't do well running for president, I forgot the incident that happened on not going to say he cried or something that would have been, that was Mike dukakis, I think, of Massachusetts, but there was something, and all of a sudden he failed miserably in his quest for the presidency. So my guess is Mitt Romney's avenging for his father's undignified loss of the presidency. But, you know, I've apologized. Many times for being a delegate for it. He fooled me too for a while. But Dennis said he met with him and he didn't care about principles. Yeah, that makes sense. And Liz Cheney. Oh my God. Trying to preserve, I guess her father's legacy, whatever that was. If anything, she's tarnished what, with many of her pronouncements, she's tarnished what people thought about her dad, Dick Cheney. I suspect that all these people have deep personal problems, and I never feel that they care what is best first for our country. That they care best first, what's best for them. But they are part of the leftist cabal, whether they know it or not. What did the Russians call them useful idiots? So back to the charges. We had charges against the king and I mentioned in the first hour that's what the Declaration of Independence was about. So what are our charges begin with against this would be president. The stealing of the presidency. They never accepted Trump's victory, and they were willing to stop at nothing to make sure he lost. Including, as you know, the Russian hoax, what, two years impeachments, and the banning from social media. And now they have lawsuits against him and other enemies. Anybody who had anything to do with them. These people have no moral guard rails, except to win at all costs. That's it. And I said in the first hour, they're likely 20 anomalies over 20 that had to happen for Trump to lose. But they did win and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in office because of blatant fraud. As the movie 2000 mules demonstrates pretty well itself. So, mister king Biden, our first charge you never should have been declared king because you ascended to the throne illegally. How many of you, you can call me one of the prager 7 6 7 7 6? How many of you listeners like me still cringe when they call on President Biden? I still have trouble with that. It's like calling the person who stole your house, the homeowner. And to add insult to injury, the king had his Justice Department, as you know, throw innocent people into jail, summoned to solitary confinement, as I mentioned, because of January 6th, and they call it an insurrection. I love that. That was an insurrection. I don't think so. Riff raff and all kinds of people maybe, but insurrection, I don't think so. Of course, your edicts at the very beginning like ending our pipelines and drilling the ending of drilling for fossil fuels and discouraging just the scourge leases, just the other week I think it was. But it's part of your plan, see, that's what I said. You got to understand what they're up to. That's their plan to destroy capitalism and markets that we're working here. To this day, even in light of high gas prices, you continue this policy as part of the Green New Deal. And that's going to help destroy our country. So what do they do? They printed a lot of money to assuage the peasants doing my analogy with the king with your trillions of dollars in giveaways. It's a way to make them more dependent on your government. When you make people give them money then they start to depend on the government. It makes me think of a story when I first started teaching. I think it was a fourth grade kid. He's running around the school building wildly. It wasn't my student. And I finally caught up to him. I said, you know, what are you going to do with this? What are you going to do with your life? In fourth grade, he said to me, I'll go on welfare. His family must have been on welfare. He already knew that term. That was his dream, I guess, or that's what he had hoped. So that's what you do with the printing and money. And as you know, with inflation at a control, it won't be long before your Marie Antoinette, Kamala Harris, says let them eat cake. Sean, you do remember Marie Antoinette? In history, if nothing else, Dennis did not debate Marie Antoinette. You don't have to look that up. Debate between Dennis Murray. But of course, I'm confused in two different revolutions. But a revolution we have on the streets through your defunding of the police, you're just less department allowing the left to right and commit mayhem to scare, get this now, the masses into needing your protection. That's what's going on. And of course, we know that the DA's all across this country funded by George Soros of letting them out. I read a story the other day. They can't get police in many cities. Who would want to be a policeman these days? You lock sum it up. They're out in jail before you could even say boo. And just like Putin protesting his liberation of Nazis in the Ukraine, that was a justification. You come up with this phony white supremacy, as the number one problem in our country, and the reason for the crackdown of our civil liberties. I can see all these juxtapositions with what you're doing and with communism and dictatorship. A long, of course, with charges about America being a white supremacist country because you use race baiting at every chance because you have nothing else.

Hello Jimmy Carter 2.0: Pelosi Wants to Regulate Gas Prices

"Turning to another person who needs two channel George Costanza, that would be Nancy Pelosi. Speaker of the House, saying, in her weekly address, that she intends to introduce legislation that would allow Biden to set gas prices. Are we going back to the 70s? I mean, Jimmy Carter, where are you? What we're going to ration? Gas? We're going to set prices. That's your answer to this energy crisis? It's worth just taking a little teeny moment and having a little econ one O one session with all of these lawmakers because they don't seem to understand that supply and demand are correlated. And the pricing and incentives are also correlated. So if prices are capped, do you think anybody wants to be in this industry? Do you think businesses are going to want to drill more, knowing that they can't make more? Depending on whatever the price should be in the open market for oil? No. Of course they don't. And so it means you're not going to have enough supply, which is going to keep prices consistently high. OPEC knows this. OPEC chooses not. To pump more oil because it wants to keep prices high. So we're going to say, okay, we're going to cap prices, which is actually going to disincentivize corporations from wine to be in this business. And we think that's going to be the answer.

Sebastian Chats With Ken Klukowski About the Impending Roe Decision

"We have somebody who I trust for legal advice who's worked in the Trump administration at the DoJ practicing lawyer breitbart contributor, you've got to read his latest pieces at breitbart dot com. His can clockhouse can. Welcome back to America first. Great to be with you. Thanks for having me. All right, I'm going to just say what I think about the Supreme Court draft decision. Because I'm not a lawyer, but I read all 70 pages recently. And you know what shocked me and maybe I should read more of these documents, it was a fabulous historic tour de rizon. It was a treatise. It wasn't full of mumbo jumbo that a layman couldn't understand. First it was this amazing historic review of how the law treated abortion in western civilization going back to the 17th century in the UK, the concept of quickening. And then basically this conclusion that until roe V wade, it was illegal in America, and then it was a segment by segment dismantling of both roe and Casey saying it's just bad law and analyzing started decisis in other concepts. So Ken, give me your illegal professional opinion, is this an unusually good pre decisional draft, or is this because it's a Leto who's riding it? Well, first of all, justice alita was a brilliant justice. His opinions are uniformly wonderful. But what you just described in as I read it as well, it reminds me of the late justice Scalia's opinion in District of Columbia versus hello. Yeah. Which held that the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms is an individual right from 2008. That opinion was also almost exactly the same page length. That was a little over 60 pages. And what you saw there is what a well written Supreme Court opinion is supposed to look like. This is an original list decision. One that looks to the text, structure, and history of the constitution, and in this case, in terms of looking at the history of a purported right to abortion, showing why. This is in fact not a right found in the U.S.

Dinesh and Debbie Discuss Trump's Latest Rally in Pennsylvania

"So Friday was the Trump rally and it was a rally for Doctor Oz who I guess was getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. I mean, there was a bunch of people with Oz stickers and all, but pretty much every time his name came up, there was also a bunch of booze, just giving you an idea that this is a this is a guy who does not seem to have unified support. And I had never been to a rally in this sense. You and I went to the rally. And he was Ted Cruz and Trump. And so we were in the audience for that one. But here I was in the green room. I was kind of fun. There's Doctor Oz and he's sort of, you know, he's a character. He's a very he's a charismatic fellow. But I like listening to his health tips and stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you can tell he's a little bit, I don't know if Phil himself is right. Well, I mean, that again, I think I know why people were not happy with him. And that is because how conservative is he. Right. And you know, I do remember when he was on Oprah lot and he likes to, he likes to kind of mingle with the left with the liberal left. Yeah. You know, so that could be why people are like, hey, why are you running in the Republican ticket? Are you Republican? Are you a conservative? Are you? So I'd never met him. We said hello. And then JD Vance comes in, which was great. I like JD Vance. And look, JD Vance, I've admittedly in the beginning he was not hot on Trump, but I think he realized that the very issues that he writes about in hillbilly elegy. The very working class people he grew up with who have hard lives and are ignored by the elite. Trump, believe it or not, Trump the billionaire cares about those people. I know. It's unbelievable though mentioning that how so many people in the spectrum love Trump, like the very poor from the barrio where I grew up to billionaires. It's like everybody, you know, loves him. So he's got, he's got a lot of fans from different walks of life. It's amazing. I was watching him interact with people. Think about Trump as he's, he's a Democrat in the small descent. I never notice a difference when he's talking to an important person or an ordinary guy, he treats him exactly the same. Exactly

"The mason minute. With Kevin mason. It's Mother's Day and I don't often admit when I'm a bad son, because I try not to be a bad son, but I think today I officially fit the ranks of being a bad son. Now with that said, the reason why? I thought Mother's Day was next weekend. I realized there's this thing called Google, and there's this thing called a calendar, and you can go look and it'll tell you when Mother's Day is. But I automatically, for some reason, thought, well, it's got to be next weekend. It's the second Sunday of the month. Although I realized, well, the first of the month was a Sunday, and so therefore, may 15th is the third Sunday of the month. So I was wrong. So I didn't send my mother a card. I will call my mother as I do each and every Mother's Day to talk to just say hello and kind of spend time with her. I know if I were a better son, I'd actually go visit her, but it's one of those things we've lived apart for so long. It's just easier to talk over the phone rather than see each other because it's both tiring and expensive for both of us. So I'll say hello to mom and that's a great thing. She's only been my mom for over 60 years, so but I'm a bad son today. I'm going to own up to it. I'm going to put it out on the Internet for everybody else to hear. Of course, luckily my mom's not on the Internet, so she won't know a thing.

'Conservatism: A Rediscovery' With Yoram Hazony

"We have a really special guest for you for someone that I have admired from afar for quite a while. He is the author of a new book, conservatism, a rediscovery, and he is very well respected all across the world. He wrote another phenomenal book as well, which is the virtue of nationalism which we could talk about as well. If you're on his own, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Hello, Charlie. Good to meet you. I'm glad to be on. Yeah, thank you for joining us. So conservatism, a rediscovery. Why do we have to rediscover it? I thought that, you know, conservatives know what conservatism is. Walk us through this. Well, in part, the argument is that conservatism is always a rediscovery. Conservatives are people who are interested in maintaining traditions from the past that doesn't mean all traditions obviously. But we've been living through a period in which pretty much anything that is an important principle and important idea from the past is undermined and overthrown sort of in sequence over the last few decades. So you begin with God and scripture and from there nation and family and now as you know, male and female are up for grabs. And I think what we need to understand is that this is on the one hand, we are watching a cultural revolution. There are people who purposely are undermining the whole vocabulary of traditional ideas and principles that held America and other western nations together. On the other hand, the deterioration is somewhat natural. If you look at history, nations have to have periods of restoration where you rediscover the most important ideas from the past from past generations and you give them new

Grown Adult Refuses Work Unless It's a Job He Loves

"I sat next to a young woman 29 years old to be precise. In the first class where I travel, one of the ones I couldn't do all this flying. Certainly not at 6 foot four, and with all the flying I do. Be that as it may, I was sitting next to her. She was in the world of finance, obviously successful. And she was about to, she's getting married in September. It's rare that I have a prolonged conversation with someone I'm seated next to. I need to work, to be honest. But I always, I always say hello, and I generally follow, are you from here or there? In other words, where the airplane is right then, or where we're going. So it turns out I won't give more particulars about her, except to say, she has a brother who lives at home, he's in his mid 20s, why does he live at home? So I living barter will love this. He lives at home because he doesn't he will only work in a job that he loves. Is that awesome? So it is better to live in the proverbial parents basement. Then to work at a job, you don't love.

'Culture Jamming' With PrimeTime Alex Stein

"Alex Stein. If you haven't heard of him prime time, 99 Alex Stein, Jackson. I can't even see that on the radio. I'm already going crazy, Morgan. Oh my goodness. Well, thank you. Thank you for taking time. If you're very busy day, you're a small businessman, and an Internet sensation apparently. So praise B, thank you for joining. That is true. And as my sister and Christ, I appreciate being here. And let me tell you something. Being a viral sensation is not easy. It's a lot of pressure and a lot of people have been like, oh, Alex, you know, it's congratulations on all your success or your viral videos. Going viral is a terrible thing Morgan because now I'm like, what am I gonna do next? I've already worn women's swimwear to a city council meeting and like I'm literally gonna have to jump in a fire and light myself on fire next. I just don't know the pressure is it's overwhelming sometimes. Oh my God, okay, so if people are listening and are aware, he's very satirical. And that's the whole point, Alex Stein is hilarious and goes and makes fun of the crazy lefties, the wokeness at city council meetings and government public hearings where you can speak directly to your representatives. And so Alex don't hate me, but I have a clip that I want to show of you and the women's bathing suit. So if we could play that producers. Hello, how are you guys doing, counsel? So my name is Alexandria Stein. And I'm here today to call out transphobia here in Plano. I'm currently being restricted from swimming in the city of planet swim league against the women, even though it's clear that I reassigned my gender last week, like for example, do I look like a man? Obviously a not. This is a woman, but they're not going to let me swim and compete against the ladies because they're transphobia. So what I need you guys to do is I need you to wake up. We have champions like Leah Thomas. She's an NCAA champion. The best swimmer in college today. I can't get a scholarship unless I'm able to send a recruiting tape to these colleges. So they say, oh, oh, you have an unfair advantage Alexandria. What looks like? Does this look like an unfair advantage to you? Alex, can you explain what that was there? Okay, Morgan. So what that is, that's a crazy man that was dropped on his head as a child that has a lot of social issues and what he decided was is he going to do what is called culture jamming is and where we take the most absurd parts of our culture and we jam it in the public's face to try to bring awareness to how crazy the world has become. So people are like,

Steve robinson's effectiveness as producer versus day colin. How many cups. Day call the nate would need to get there. It's pretty full. You're saying i'd say ninety five percents. I'd say the cups of water things are tough. I would say if if we put it. This way steve. Robinson is a nine out of ten okay. How many how many days we need equal that. I don't think it's one of my scenes by the way too. So i thought this was antonio banderas in indonesia. Joe original sin. It's yeah if you if you hit the celebrity category important way. That's like one of the top ones in the celebrity cat. Is that right. Yeah to watch. Tv at the moment. Susan very thin thin. Well yeah i mean. She's a handsome woman. This one like if your husband is like you tell your husband that harvey weinstein sexually assaulted your attack. You then the guy keeps going to business with them. I'd be your fucking asshole. Well so my thing was didn't brad pitts a hunched. Like say fucking. Kill you if you ever do this again. That type of shit so like he didn't. It's not what you did nothing that was with gwyneth. Paltrow right but that's why. I'm surprised from people. I understand both have academy awards. I get confused. Yes no but my point is like both children of hollywood stars. It seems weird to now. Make it out like oh brad. Pitt's this guy that fucking pals around with rapes doesn't pony. But i don't think about right so you know if Let's just say okay at the soko show in october is alba gonna be there. I'm not sure. Say she is. Okay let's say coney puts his hands on those titties. Best to just just for argument's somebody else in this example. Why is that. Because we're kind of colleagues so maybe you work weinstein. Okay better now. Yeah you're right. You're right you in then you she tells you storage. She's really upset about you. Know and then you like doing podcasts. Podcast coney a two years later. Like i'm another one. I'm doing another one fucked. This guy. Honestly i would say hey i did tell them i'd fucking we have a that was about somebody else. Engines usually yeah but the threats always. They're always looming. There seems to be a darkness with brad pitt. I would just say that you think so. Yeah i think so. I think something's going on. Okay i think some i i mean i think it's like obviously because massive but i was i could see where she's coming from. Yeah it's just. When i heard that story i was like i. O put brad pitt in like a different category than the people that were like thanking him at the oscars. So i guess i didn't think of him as someone that have been. No no i. I mean i. Yeah but my thing is kinda of telling these stories here. This tough guy stood up to him and then like your wife is working with the your work enough. Your wife said you know this guy. Fucking is a monster. That was weird. I mean i. I don't think it's whatever cancel i. I don't know what he took some shit over week him in in the way maybe he really wanted to do those movies. Yeah also i assume those are the tarantino ones. Right inglorious best. That's for sure that's one. I've i forget what the other ones are. But i know he did two or three miramax movies after that so i don't know i didn't think it was like this massive thing though. It was trending taking a beating and then the weinstein responded to it. Did you see that. He put out a statement where he say he just denied it and just said it was quick. Boy click bait publicity. No reason to doubt. Now that you say that two sides the restore quote your angelina jolie every male and female in the world. I'm sure shows interest in. You is the whole world. Assaulting you harvey weinstein. I gotta give the guy. Credit said that letting the world changing in jail. I guess i can just statements from jail. Ideas awaiting don't know.

Tom happy that he's mad at people that mid kovic said like hey shit might give really crazy by the way like there are way more people working from home can not even argue the worse. It just is that why he tweeted. There was an accident. Is that why there was true traffic. It took me ninety minutes to get into the city on saturday afternoon at three o'clock in the afternoon. What are you gonna expect on a tuesday morning with work in play. What are you gonna expect. I guess traffic. Yes oh i suppose so. Yeah there you go. Would those two cars get an accident if there was no traffic. Understand that part of the wisey mention the isn't that hurt his argument about traffic like the accent. Because trump gets. That's true i mean i understand. No he's saying that. Look how many cars there are. Two of them. Support i though. He's stupid but that doesn't support his argument. That's a really shitty drive. Imagine the guy clutching his chest when he turns on the radio in a panic afraid he missed it right. And then here's and that was need to know anything tatra. What's his fault. Because i know that's a love alarms is was sake i did like they had a They had a promo going out to actually have it hold on the show. This show should be. The show. I remember loan by the way love salt before he got here he was like this guy's fucking great. Yeah we'll never is on the first day and i am in muslim. Sheriff told the story mode was driving. I was i figure i wasn't on the mornings quite yet. I think it was right before and mount was doing the midday show. He's driving home. He called me like two twenty after the first break to like. Oh my god. This is a fucking disaster like a disaster in the woods but now he's back in seattle on seven ten. Am i will give him credit. He addressed the column right out. The gate gotta give him credit balls and can't be afraid. Let let me just quickly address a column that came out yesterday. Some of the reaction around it. Because it's a bummer. In bums me out i will say this. I think people get to have their opinions. People get to be mad about things and that's okay. I certainly get mad about things myself. I think that it's helpful to know a lot. More context that missing. And unfortunately i think there's some info that's left out of stories like that but people get out of there through speaking the say part of it is is very different. I'll also say that one of the worst parts of management honestly. Ian is one of the many reasons. I'm glad to be out of it is that you have to make decisions that affect people's livelihoods we're bringing wow and originally take. He is so happy to say that though loves the idea that he was in management but he chose to leave. I think if mike soccer my program director i would fucking hang myself at his office. His low his okay stop. This is the perfect middle-management bag program director for seven ten. Am so perfect. I'm not saying you're not a great talent. You're just not right for this situation. This the part of my job. I hate the most. You're fired very favorite part of the job. He can't wait to do it. Got that morning. It was fucking fully aroused. I get the fire this by the way the game. Sure sucks on the air. There's no doubt about that. Well that's was my thing where it's like i don't know here's some cult following that's furious that the probably not probably not do even the mike. Young stinks stinks. Especially when you like. The people know the people that are around and solo show. It's obviously it's the mike salk show other building around salt. They're building out sock is basically. He's got two people that he introduces later. That are they seem reducers. Been talk a little bit like bam. I'm gonna guess at some wacky producing some girl steph inspired. Although i don't know wacky the guy doesn't seem particularly well. He's all business little bit but they also have like a tana. Guess john clayton junk. It'll be with me every day as well john clayton. The professor professor is on every day. They live from seattle right guests every day over day as well. Don't worry it used to be seven fifteen. So a new time for john's you'll have to change your your professor alarm clocks hold off exelon. Second update my calendar. Okay updating got yeah. You got the right time right. forty-five so that that'd be What time is that would be five perfect. I'll remember the show early now. Be either here. Eleven forty five of us. We have a guest on every day every day. I don't know like it sort of. Can you get john clayton on. Every we can try to get john clayton on every day. We we should consider that. Go ahead dave johnstone bridging your professor alarm clock that i know many people have said john will be with us. Every there's only likes the show like there's no way they bring this person in you said yourself. He brings a big audience. I read that socially who who who hired this person him himself as somebody who's boss. I don't know who said that was a good idea. This is a good idea but you just heard well. That's what i was wondering because starting his first show because he had a job in seattle before boston then right back then left for a podcast and came back again right so obviously someone saying we need this guy. He just fits. I guess. But i've never seen i've never seen any ratings. I have no idea that. I mean maybe seattle radio. It's only like if i went back to arabia. I'll be number one in two seconds. I would think seconds. Hello hey i mean my maybe. I'll do it. I don't know this point we don't do. It should do it. Why no know before. Yeah it'd be great. I need is people like that telling me what to do. Hello god guy back. Soggy eat forty five with the professor. His unique spin on everything is exactly the same football. So we As we head into football they're gonna get another week jonquet every day. So if you're keeping score at home brockett. Seven forty five one second and john clayton at eight forty five everyday got every single day. John what are you messy. We're getting pretty humorous. John clinton what's left was the only guest. They have fifteen seven fifty eight fifty nine fifteen. Oh these poor people have no worker them to. They're just trying to make a living. If this asshole is now like swelled with power. "Coming in mourning thousands. i'll never come in retired Yeah harry's very in the marvel now all the sudden so he and i went to see a the newest one this weekend what is it. Cianci made no money. No i didn't say he goes ninety million dollars in that much where we can say labor day weekend in the pandemic. It's usually a movie dead weekend. I couldn't remember what was like a big void. Biggest lebron all. Yeah it was. That's why i was asking during a pandemic that feels pretty successful. No it was fine. I he loved so on. Who the hell knows i i. I don't know what else going on half the time but it was entertaining enough. I suppose they've ruined the movie business. Who's at marvel. Yeah let's scorsese says right. Yeah yeah yeah. I've never really understood the argument. I'm sort of more than the george lucas. I that argument. I guess the idea is that make movies to make sequels not trying to move in that then that satisfies a certain audience like getting in the way of of Pick david fincher or trying to think of the woman directed little women I bet those will make a lot of garlic. Yeah i bet those make a lot less money now because that's what people go to the theaters for marvel. People fast and furious always went to the theaters. For that is. I mean since since came out. They went to the theaters for that. But now i feel like it's gets in the way. There are so many of those that there are i. Don't what's the next nomad land with me. Three hundred million if it wasn't for a marvel movies teenage children. Let's go attack no matter well. What's the last artistic made of hard. The only reason it's hard to say it now is just because the last couple years messa right back and look but you know and the other thing now is like streaming of so many of these movies. That's that's the other big issue like you know. your fears. marriage story went to netflix. First and then the. Here's the same time though. Adam driver and scarlett johansson like fifteen years ago. That would have been like twenty million twenty five million than we've been nominated for oscar. So you're right that it's hard but lucas argument was well. You know The success of jaws and then star wars built so many movie theaters across the country that you know oftentimes when none of these movies were playing. They had to play these other movies as well. So i do. You think gave those people some life to i i. I don't know. I don't know where stand on that one. I just like mardi say. Nah fucking like yeah. But he's right. I mean his argument is that they're a would say they were like Art not with them. I'm blanking on the amusement park rides. Yeah which is what they are but what these kids are like fifteen. Focus harry's supposed to go watch you know. I go watch fucking some the searing drama like i know of but i don't remember that when we were kids were every week. It was a superhero movie. Coming out we. It was a more diverse group. Your martineau marvel's totally to your point. It's just all on streaming now like the diverse aspect to it like my wife. Maybe watch that stupid. Steve martin show. That was really good really very funny. Those very funny. I skipped you kind of want to see steve martin. It's a little hokey but it's actually not bad. It's it's it's it's a good little story it's not it's not bad dave just trying to selena gomez knowing martin short it's just the same and everything mark short's annoying it. I agree always a very good series. Like natural person with his son there These ask gets a good scene. Like i don't want whacky martin short. I don't need that my wife anymore. Angry that was my fear. When i saw selena gomez i was like i was going to be something where like she teaches them at a day. And so i think she's. I'm so i'm old. So like you said to me who is selena gomez. I would say. I saw her in the ramona movies with kate when she was a kid. Like i have no idea what a career is. I know she's famous issues with justin bieber right but i don't know anything about her music. Nothing i she's she music right. That's how old i am. I have no. I couldn't tell you one fucking song like so. She has no baggage from when she's on the show. You know right. No baggage. Either early but i thought it was like a mix of hey. Your generation is with the old. That'd be crazy. yeah. I don't know yeah. It doesn't it. Doesn't i think it's the greatest show ever knows a little hokey for like the older crowd. Yes i would say that but calling so cool. i don't know i just. I don't know just relative to your show twenty-five minutes it's easy. It's a new one tonight. Yeah the other. One i watched was started to as white lotus. And you watch that yet. I have seen y this what the fuck was the first two episodes of that it was a two episodes about a bunch of people in hawaii just horrific. What do you mean bad. The dumbest two episodes. I've ever watched amount of the first two episodes with the power. Oh you haven't okay to spoil it for you like any tv. They don't know. I guess none another team moving and would like all tv. I don't think i don't think of stuff like that. What's your favorite. tv. Show ever my favorite tv show. I really like veep. I really good show. Yeah yeah that's good. Show love appraised. I think i think it is very funny. Which like the wire. Which i think is over per off okay. I don't wanna. I don't wanna say oh i know what you're saying. That very very good. Accurate is very one of the great. Hbo performance of all time. Honestly if you think about sure. I mean forget the two shows also he was. He was on episode sopranos And is in the night of which i liked which i liked him into good actor. Fifty four yeah favorite. It's not in a lotta shit like he can't think of anything stars than the wires. Yeah they think he died of Apparent overdose is that right. Yes it was nice place at the speculate immediately. See that yeah. it's too bad. You seem like the some real demons but good actor. Good tv actor to suck the great voice to documentaries right. Yes yeah. I i liked the wired and love it. I could never get into it. I tried it. I started a couple times. Everyone says the first season. And i think they're right and that's a hard that's hard to trudge through. Yeah that's hard when it's the in. It's just not that good season television. I don't think. I don't know it's no veep where it's like. How is this woman the vice president i would agree a woman who just bubbling psychic playing buster. Yes y. no no wonders in from the other office all the time and boy does he have opinions opinion. Piece of shit. That gary cole jeff. Do you owe posted a scene from veep this. We did you very funny..

"Hello check that all right well As we all know the republican party pretends to care so much about police officers because of how risky their jobs are but would it comes to capitol hill police officers who had to deal with those riders not so much it fact Republican representative andrew. Clyde of georgia refused to shake the hand of a capital police officer by the name of michael fanon When he had approached the lawmaker to have a discussion about the importance of a january six commission to investigate what happened on that day in fact. Why don't we go to phenomenon to explain how this whole interaction went down. I greeted congressman. Claude i was very cordial extended my hand to shake his hand. He just stared at me. I asked him if he was gonna shake my hand and he told me that he didn't know who i was so i introduce myself. I said that it was michael cohen. That i was a dc metropolitan police officer who fought on january six to defend the capital and as a result i suffered a traumatic brain injury as well as a heart attack after having been as numerous times at the base of my skull as well as being severely beaten at that point. The congressman turned away from me pulled out his cell phone. It looks like he was attempting to pull up like an audio recording app on his phone and again like never acknowledged me at any point as soon as the elevator doors open. He ran as quickly as he could like a coward. A coward now. Of course andrew. Clyde is one of the gop lawmakers who is against a january six commission to investigate what happened in the capital that day. And if you know anything about representative clyde you'd know why he tried to downplay what happened that day recently. If you can remember he just referred to it as something totally harmless.

So you can really see the results for yourself personally data when you really see a big difference in the way you yourself and the relationship you have with yourself. We really spent hardly any time looking at the relationship. We have with ourselves. And, really the relationship we have with ourself. Is the filter for all other relationships. So, this might be hard for some of us to really connect with. We may think I. Don't want to spend time on my relationship with myself. It's selfish. But, there's a difference I want you to really think about this. There is a difference between being selfish and taking care of yourself. We always throw that back. Saying around, you know especially with people we love. And we really mean it will take care of yourself. Encourage each other to do it because we know it's valuable, but what does that really mean? I like to think of the example of putting your oxygen mask on first. So most of you know what I'm talking about when I say, put your oxygen mask on first, but. Really, this is about when you're on a plane and you're about to take off. They give you tons of instruction. And! They're telling you these instructions. Because they're important, they can save your life in their valuable. So what happens is one of these instructions is. If you lose cabin pressure in the plenum, oxygen masks will drop down. And you're instructed to put your oxygen mask on first before assisting anyone else. So high to they instruct us to put our action. On first we'll picture people running around on the plane, trying to put oxygen on other people total chaos. Can you imagine this? Everyone's flying from their seats with the best intentions of others? But then they haven't realized that they cannot raise. What do you think's GonNa Happen to pass out? Or die when you think about this particular scenario. But what do you think happens? When everyone listens to that instruction to put your mask on I. By the time you put your mask on. Everyone else has put their mask onto. So. Valuable! So then if anyone still needs help, it's very clear at that point very clear. Because they're probably saying. Help me right, and then we can really help people. Who need help after we put our mask on I can we really help someone if we've passed out? Right. Like it's comical to think about because we're not on a plane, we're not in this situation, but it really goes to show how taking care of yourself in this way. Is Not Selfish. To even with the principal to love your neighbor as yourself, which is such a valuable valuable principal. Love, your neighbor as yourself. So if you don't care about yourself. How will you treat others? So really think about this. You guys if you don't care about yourself or love yourself, how will you treat others? So we can show up even better for others when we value ourselves, that's going to overflow onto our relationships with other people because creating a strong relationship with yourself creates unconditional love for others. We're not defensive or trying to prove ourselves to someone because we already know the value that we have equally all of that amazing value. When you don't love yourself or thank you don't matter. You feel like you have to prove yourself which feels so uncomfortable and there's a difference between having an authentic conversation being yourself, and then feeling insecure enforcing confidence like think about even for you with that feels sight. Even when it's genuine so even when you genuinely want to show up, is yourself not knowing how to do that in having those subconscious critical thoughts? You just really even notice that yourself through like I'm not myself today? So the amazing thing is that. We may really want to show up for others and help. And be liked by others and just genuinely from our hearts. Want to have amazing relationships with others, but when you don't have that strong relationship with yourself or have a very critical conversation with yourself daily inside your own brain. It's a block to feeling yourself, and it's a reason why we do feel awkward out of place sometimes. So I cannot wait to share all these tools with you to help you with. That is so good, so let's talk a little bit about that authentic confidence. So true confidence is seeing the value of everyone including yourself not defensive or pushy. You value yourself and others genuinely so there's not a competition they're. Women sometimes fear the word confidence because they don't want to have arrogance. But arrogance is the complete opposite of genuine confidence. Arrogance is feeling superiority or others. So having genuine authentic confidence, contra acts arrogance because every woman. Every single woman has the ability to have offensive confidence. And I want you to have that amazing relationship with yourself, so it will overflow into amazing relationships with other people in your family and friends in job, and so so much more. So. "In all that on the way The Armstrong and getty show this Netflix's is going to start canceling customer subscriptions. That haven't been used in the past year. You can tell getting cocky. They're like a you. Don't break up with us. We break up with you. Okay Bye Bye. What is that? Why would you cancel subscriptions? I thought that what you think your best case scenario you're not you're not Slowing down the Internet. You're paying a monthly fee ran. Tastic I don't know I can't imagine I feel like there's some sort of making the numbers fudge a little bit here right like if you cancel the subscription and they resigned you get to count that as as a subscription mania and interesting thought her send you people who are subscriber watching show or should. I also one of the the big analytics of a lot of these Internet sites Internet sites okay boomer Ali just okay. Boomer himself is daily active users. So I don't know if there's a metric out there that punishes people for for if there's an existing account but it's not being used if that makes your percentage I don't know the a lot of the analytics. These companies surged strange to me in a lot of them are fudged too. Yeah I did not your Internet. Ads are not working. They're not getting nearly the clicks they're telling you for instance radio that's where it's at and that is true Oh boy I'm going to get to this story. Great Story in The Wall Street Journal over the weekend. The end of America's era of military primacy written by military guy. Oh absolutely WHO's at the medicine here? I it's probably fairly obvious. As China's advanced arsenal grows the Pentagon must focus on emerging technologies not traditional weapons platforms. It was an an OP. Ed piece argument being made by You know a military expert In two thousand seventeen we had just left a briefing where we'd asked to arrange everyone in conversation about China's growing arsenal of their precision strike missiles there long range sensors the counter space capabilities. All this other stuff. Every senator was invited to the briefing about a dozen showed up because people born interested. I guess and they got a depressing dose of reality Pentagon officials in the Obama Administration. One named David Nick. I think I remember that person. spoke publicly last year saying when we do war games when we fight China or Russia the US military gets. It's ASS handed to it. We lose a LOT OF PEOPLE. We lose a lot of equipment. We usually fail to achieve our objective by preventing aggression Through projecting power. Wow you have the great. Crackdown giant protests going on Hong Kong. Right now making the salt more real. Yeah making we wouldn't lose award. It's not like we're getting. You know. We have to surrender and our part of China. Whatever but we would learn to speak Mandarin but we would not We would not prevent it a being so clearly dominant or Be Able to avoid losing a lot of men and material right and you know probably have to come to some sort of an agreement. Okay you get that island if this ends you know that sort of thing right yeah. Well that's clear. Yeah which is not the way you know. Most of us have in our mind about America. Well that's that's because as long as I've been alive and most people listening Ben Alive Right now we've been able to just avoid a war just out of we would just we'd just destroy you. We would lose nothing and you would be obliterated. Yao stay away. Yeah with some notable exceptions the whole limited warfare proportional thing anyway Maybe I'll get into that more coming up later. I'll tell you what I realized. This is unconstitutional. But I would love to see some sort of moratorium on congressman. Lobbying for unnecessary outdated weapons systems. Let's have you know. The generals are the joint chiefs and independent commission. Figure out what we really need to be spending on and just do that. So what does a human value human life worth? This has come up a lot in the last couple of weeks. People usually throwing it around like a like a weapon but some rhetorical win. Somebody talks about opening the economy. How many points on the Dow is worth one human life secretary of the Treasury And I think I think remember Mnuchin saying that's not a fair question Well there actually is a value. The value of statistical life that the government insurance companies never puts on a human life they use the ESL at most federal agencies developed over several decades. And it's about ten million dollars value of human life. Had No idea is worth that if a new regulations boost to myself esteem if a new regulation is estimated to avoid one death a year it will cost about ten million dollars and still make economic sense. Now I read this article in a minute. More interesting is that went along. The dilemma is how do you value reducing? The risk said this economist. At the think-tank is involved in this sort of thing Advisers studied the topic. The economists answer is to ask people what they think. A human life is worth and then observe the behavior on whether or not it lives up to because most people say Human life is the invite. You know you can't put a number go. We do put a number on it with our with our actions in the way we live. Economists use public opinion surveys on mortality. Risk they look at how much more dangerous jobs pay. They study. What. People are willing to spend for safety devices such as bike. The information is then all put together to try to come up with a number they. They calculate how many people are willing to obey for instance various speed limits. I mean we are kind of making a decision at that point. What we think you know life is worth and it'd probably be safer to drive the speed but I'm gonNA drive this speed right. I was running late this morning. I might speed limit was the limit of the engine in my car. I kid of course my friends in the law enforcement community. I would never do that. I think it's interesting. I got to forty and one MAX's out at one zero five and the other one will just keep going until the engine can't go anymore. Oh yeah yeah and I don't know why that is I mean it's got the one has a limiter on it though. The the engine clearly has more but the car won't allow itself to go any faster by the way forward. Is there any way to do something about that? A different chip or I will pass along. The e mails we will inevitably get. I was driving in Germany. I took my car to Germany over the weekend on the auto exact embarrassed but I did. They changed the laws or something no. They're both they're both the same year really interesting. I wonder is it the same model? No I wonder if one is. I mean for instance. My car that I commute in is kind of a bloated old man car It's like It's a rolling living room and it is not built it. I the handled. Well I call it a the whale because it handles like a whale and you would not want to be going very fast and cards just because you couldn't control it but in the right car place hundred but anyway so the government insurance companies have back up one hundred miles per hour when they When they calculate these things society apparently has come up with around ten million dollars the value of a life from the way we react on what we do safety wise. How much how much job has got to pay if it's this dangerous before we'll do it. Right they factor. All this in. It's interesting is that so interesting. Yeah we've we've made this determination without even realizing that we've made this determination ten million dollars. See I'd throw off all my principles for five. I mean I'd sell out to anybody for five million dollars so ten. Maybe I've been pricing myself too low. I figured no takers too high. But I don't know maybe I just need to find the right buyer like real estate. You're still alive in all these scenarios right now. I'm just saying well with five to ten million dollars okay. Okay so I would have to die to get the ten million. Oh all boys. So we're talking about my wife. Have that money so I suppose they have a numbers on there for what a leg is worth or an arm or that sort of stuff. Two Hundred Bucks. Right now are your what. Are you going to do it? But I I'll give you one hundred and seventy five for two of them because I think I deserve some quantity discount prices of your business. You can't have my arm. I don't care what you're offering. I like it use it every day. Armstrong and getty..
