"Absolutely. Sounds like a dream come true you ready. It is a bit of a fantasy. Come true. I think there's a kind of like legendary story that may well be urban myth. I'm not sure about Helena Bonham Carter and living in separate homes. And I think that many people who are long married and happily married even can relate to how appealing that sounds, the idea of being able to, at the end of the end of dinner, say, okay, I'm going to my own home now. I'll see you tomorrow. And that's sort of how I feel about my work. The idea of having an office and being able to I think it's a way of sort of taking my own work a little more seriously, which I'm excited about. Yeah. And are you writing a book at the moment? Oh, honey, that is such a good question. I am writing a book. I am writing a book. And it is a challenge at the moment because I've reached a point and this has come with my three previous books too. I've reached the point where the preparatory work is at an end. And what I need to do is immerse myself in it. And unfortunately, my schedule is not cooperating. Around my children have just gone back to school for the first time in quite a while. And, of course, we're undertaking this big move. And so there are all these other life tests interfering. But my hope is that by the middle or end of October, I will be able to really just drop into the deep end of the book. And I tend to think through things for some period of time. Sometimes it's pretty long. It can even be a couple of years. My first book, I remember when I was putting away all of the notebooks associated with my first book, I found notes about those characters from three or four years before I ever wrote the book. So I do have this sort of long runway and then what I like to do is just sort of plunge in. And often I think I do so much thinking or I do so much scratching and notebook or whatever, by the time I sit down to write, it does come very quickly. So I'm hoping I'm going to jinx myself by saying this out loud to you, but I'm hoping that that will be the experience. So talk to me a little bit more about that preparatory work. So you said you had notes on the characters that went back a long time. So is character where you tend to start? It can be character, it can be sort of fixing them in time is also usually very important to me understanding. I'm terrible at math..

I would say that these three I thought the first one was really the best. The first one was really good. But I thought the other two were Justus. Good. The furthest the other two were pretty good. The first one was just like Bam! Was a John Lithgow. John Lithgow was in the first one..

Yeah, Okay, It's something I dread watching that show and it's all my favorite people are on it. And it's just too pressing. Yeah, Okay. I don't think it's brought a coarse man. It's some whatever it is, but he's that guy. When you see me go that guy know who exactly he was on Last night with Jimmy Fallon and he had a pact. Ose Little Holly was guess this guy was the first guest and so they're talking and he's like, Well, what I You know, you got very during covert, because yes, I did. And he's like, Wow, you know how that came about? And so he's tells the story how he's filming this movie with Harry styles that Olivia Wilde is produced, producing and directing thing. We've talked about this movie multiple times, four times, Whatever the name of that issue and find with the name of their sitting around doing a reading that you know they're talking about him on indicate engagement's been covert. He's been living with Lily forever. And said, I want to get engaged. How should I do it? And so they're all talking about asking Harry Sty us. Oh, I love it and everybody so It ends up. He decides they're going to move into this new home and so in one of the boxes in the middle of it, he puts a plant and of box with a ring in it and something else. And so they're moving in the boxes, and she's moving backs is in the class and he goes No. Bring that box. But God here I wanted out here and you know how you get pissy. When you're moving things around, and she's like, Oh, come on, he goes. No, come out here. I want you to see this fax. He opens it up and it's the room and she's just like, Oh, my gosh, You know, he proposes and everything, And so they're getting ready to call their families to tell me. Hey, we're engaged. This is so fun, and he gets a text from Harry styles, and he calls in the H bomb. Here is like Hey, how did go dude? Before anyone else tell Harry styles that they've got engaged. So they end up getting married at Big Sur kind of just by themselves in a minister right where you always talk about going post Ranch Inn, right? And Harry styles sends the biggest hugest spoke a possible and he just said Harry cells is the bomb. He was the first person who knew we were even engaged. Wow. And that I get to even say that it was really kind of sweet. It's a great That's what I thought. Any just wood doesn't blonde Harry Styles. Yeah, Every man of them know that you're engaged first. It was so sweet. I thought you'd like that. I got rescued. Everyone could just use our daily dose of Harry style. That's what I thought, you know. Oh, it just not sounds like we got a new segment for the show. Not really does. Did you find out the name of the movie that he said Let me check that out? Yeah, well were you doing when we are 10 minutes? You know what? I see him over there. Don't he doesn't Jack black thing where I think he's thinking, and he kind of strokes, his facial hair and I think he's not Is a Z Googling. I have doing his job. Yeah, Yeah, I don't know your body language. Yes, Julie can't see me and I can't it all. Um, no. I was sort of putting out a production fire for a second there. You won't try and make me feel bad for a second. Good. No, you know, working. Don't even try it. Try girls. Funny. The point is, Nick Kroll is very funny. Yes. And then they were all rationed. Harry styles is something about to impression so well, they had to guess who was doing the impression And to the point where Jimmy Fallon can do, Justine Bateman. Jason Bateman. Yes. And baby statement. Justin, Sister. Surely you call him? I know. You see me doing presents, right? Very annoyed, but he was really funny. You got school did on the red carpet. But he said he picked up in US magazine. That's right over. Heard on the radio really? Column Justine Bateman. I think for five straight minutes loudly on Lee Joya can yell. And it picked up people. I mean, did Justin Justin and I couldn't. I can't like train night groin, you know, And I just thought you yell anyway, because you carry so much further than that, yelling voice and Honey, That was funny, but he and he ended protein. He ended up being one of the most charming people when he won for those are because we had never heard him talk, and when he came back in the green room You can see He's Yeah, Just lovely. He's lovely, but I think he's kind of an arrogant ass. No, Yes, alright, I liked him. There's a little bit of that, and I'll tell you why I'll tell you why he is not a short his name again. He's Jason is not Jason Bateman. He's a short man who is mad at his physical height. Still, I see us. I see a tinge of it and his colors. Everything. I disagree Where 90% But go on, You know, I know I can see it and he's married to such a mean woman. She all anchors daughter. She's just like she needs because she's got a you know, he's the star. Not everyone can be a star in a relationship now. Did you say he's kind of short? He isn't dead. He's taller than most people We know. Okay. Five and 5 11. No way is we saw him in person That is plus minus three inches off of that. That's his too, right? Minus three inches. He's so lying. He's got a very big head. Soc can get away with it and a lot of hair and a lot of hair and he's very smart, But, yeah, I don't know why we've heard stories about him. No mean wife has mean wife, Paul Anka daughter daughter. Well, like, like we ever forget things bad about anyone. We're friends. God, but not the bath. Okay, Julia, All right. I just I mean here. Yesterday I we talked about. We were kind of laughing about the fact that this minister of culture in the UK called for Netflix to call their TV drama off fictional stamp it that way, Even though it's won awards, it's been nominated for us. You know, it's a drama like a big little lives is a great show TV show. And he wants to say it's fictional yet we can't yet we can't believe it and we have seen this is how much the young people People who didn't live to Princess Diana. They're really mad at that rotten dog, Charles, and they've dug deep and they've discovered Camilla Gate in Tampa in getting those two carried on all this time, and basically Charles did Diana dirty the way Meghan Markle got done dirty again. You know, there's later, but people are sent. I mean, they shut up their comments. I know this is I think it's outrageous that people can't realize it's a TV. Helena Bonham Carter came out. You know, she's British. She's Bobby. She played in the one of the characters. She's Margaret. Right, Margaret, This is your last season. She thinks that we have a more Roll responsibility to stamp the show is that it is a dramatization that people are that you're we got. We got a report looks at the report. This is ah, Sarah Harmon from NBC. On this kerfuffle, everyone seems to be watching the latest royal drama. Including apparently the British government, and they're not amused. I think it's the most disgraceful thing I've ever seen, actually portrays. The queen and members of the royal family in a very nasty light. The actress Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Princess Margaret, says the crown has a moral responsibility to ensure that viewers know it's drama and not historical fact. Britain's culture secretary says he'll ask Netflix to add a disclaimer to each episode stating explicitly, the events are fictionalized. Netflix bills the show as a drama, not a documentary and.

"There's a situation that demands the best of the best. It's the best of the week. Saturday on my talk one or seven more. You're a mean one. Mr Grinch, You really are here. You're as cuddly as a cactus. Yours Charming as an eel. Mister. Agree You're a bad banana with Greasy black. You're a monster. Hey, Good morning. We're back. Donna and Steve on my talk one of 71. Everything. Entertainment, Everybody more your buddy. Everybody stay focused today, guys right now today. Oh, Okay? This is how the human brain works. This is Mommy Backtrack. This is one of the ways. Let me just tell Grant what you're doing right now. He's just going to try, Tonto. What's the word justify like? What he thinks people want to hear. Okay, because he thinks it's relatable. Okay, Go ahead, Stay. Let's go back. You know that song? You're a mean one, Mr Grinch I why do I remember specifically being probably? I don't know. Nine years old, eight or nine years old. And laying, like on my stomach doodling in the dining room at my childhood home, listening to that song over and over. I didn't do that all the time. I just did it one time in that memory. Sticks with me. Even though it's it even though it's a fake memory. Even though as research has shown, many of our memories are in fact fake or a minimum exaggerated. Yeah, it's real misrepresented, did it? It's a scary song. It's one that I don't really think I'd listen to over and over and hit you like I've never been a fan of the Grinch song. It's just love it. Well, you know, as we talk movies here at 11 o'clock Mm hmm. We just had this conversation with the kids. They're three Grinch interactions. Now there's the original. Animated the Grinch. That's the one where that song became famous. And then there's the Jim Carey one which came out, I think in the year 2000 And then there's the new or one new animated one That came out two years ago. I believe with Benedict Cumberbatch playing the role of the Grinch. Keenan Thompson from SNL is in it. I don't know which one is my favorite. Mm. Three options. There are good, They're all good, and they're all little different. Different takes All right now I have to talk to you about the crown. Okay? Remember? I was saying like, I didn't I am now noticing in this season of the crown, the sensationalism That is Part of their presentation that I had not noticed in the past seasons because I didn't live through those seasons. Right? The does that make sense. Like I remember the news and following the royal family and the wedding and all that stuff and the stories in the tabloids and the You know the books and everything that came out, but I didn't remember that obviously, about the early days of the queen, and so I took it. As gospel Truth document, yes, as if it were almost like a documentary. Will, but now I am picking up on the fact that it's not all real. Well, Helen, and it's always been that way. But yes, Now we have a reference point of as you mentioned, having lived through it. Precisely So Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Princess Margaret, the sister of the Queen. Woz on the crown's official podcast, which I didn't even know existed. Saying that she thinks Netflix has a moral responsibility to warn viewers that they are not watching a documentary. Um, she said, there's a difference between our version and the real version. And this is a drama not to be confused with a drama documentary. So that kind of bums me out to some extent because I was really enjoying the earlier On the earlier seasons because it felt like Oh, this is all Really what happened? But I should say that they're the royal family is worried about Prince Charles reputation because he's our future King. And she's They're worried about it as a result of the show and the United Kingdom's culture secretary secretary want to address Netflix with concern About a generation. Um ah, viewers who didn't live through these events and that He's afraid that they are going to miss. Take On fiction. For fact. Make sense. Yeah, it does. Um I To Helena Bonham Carter's point. I don't know if it's Netflix is moral responsibility. To communicate. That a show with Hollywood actors in it. Um, is not Documentary. Like anything that is the world's most abused and overused in Hollywood term, which is based on a true story. All that need needs like there's almost no underpinning to truth for that, except okay, these characters were involved in. Sometimes they even take liberties. There. I don't I don't. I don't feel the same way about this. I get that because any time there's a conversation With just two people. Don't you just think. Oh, this all made up. Sure. Because it's always two different sides to the story. Not only that, but like what about let's go to the early seasons of the crown. I don't know if both sides were journaling word for word. What was said or these encounters with various people at the palace as they came in and talked with the queen and even the queen. I mean, the queen is so tight lipped about everything. How could we ever be privy to the nature? Of the conversations that she had with her husband. I mean, it's just so for me, I think it's sort of a The rough history like historical events. Is generally true, But then there's a lot of details in the midst of that. Sure. Well, this guy, the culture minister, the culture secretary. Whatever is says he thinks that at the beginning of each episode they should state This isn't true, but it's based around some real events. You know what they do do do do what they do do at the beginning of these episodes lately. They put a warning. About, um Eating disorders. Because Princess Diana suffered from bulimia and there is Sun There are some story lines that really show you some pretty heavy stuff that has to do with that. And Obviously, that can be a trigger for somebody who might be suffering from an eating disorder. I think they even put a phone number or website. So if you know they feel a moral responsibility, at least in that capacity Which I think is interesting. I know because then you could go into a whole bunch of different areas, right? With with everything with art? Yeah, with a lot of movies that a lot of them sorry. Approve person just have like unnecessary garbage in him or tough scenes of. I'm thinking of like, what about scenes of sexual assault Right? Like should you then put a warning up for someone who could really be triggered in a negative way? Pain brought to the surface all over again. It's interesting that they're doing that. Yeah, I think so, too. So I just think it's interesting also that she's working for Netflix and kind of saying Yeah, And she's on their official podcast again, Speaking about Helena Bonham Carter's comments, saying that she thinks that Netflix has a moral responsibility to warn viewers that they aren't watching a documentary. I get it to some extent, because you're talking about Family. That rules, you know, quote unquote. That is a monarchy that's been around for, you know hundreds of years. And they're still in powers. So I don't know. It feels like right now. It's informally getting that warning. That warning is maybe starting to spread a little bit. Anyway of just the conversation has changed. Netflix rejects calls to add disclaimer to The Crown

"Seems to be watching the latest royal drama, including apparently the British government, and they're not amused. Netflix bills the show as a drama, not a documentary and did not respond to requests for comment. The show's creator has said often I'm having to join the dots and On bake. Calculated guesses. Sometimes creative guesses.

"Princess Diana suffered from bulimia and there is Sun There are some story lines that really show you some pretty heavy stuff that has to do with that. Yeah. And they're still in powers. So I don't know. It feels like right now. It's informally getting that warning. That warning is maybe starting to spread a little bit. Anyway of just the conversation has changed. Now that we've entered the Diana chapter right where people are saying, Okay, maybe this isn't all I know. Truce. We thought it was. I found myself pausing the show and going, all right, Hold on. That's ridiculous What they're doing. They're trying to make a point, And it's just a little exaggerated to see this lefty. Well, Did we ever talk about lefty? Yeah, we did. You know, we talked about last year. We gotta go left prints left He, by the way. Oh, what, Never mind what we return. "My health. And the health of all my loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at my talk 1071. And of course, you can't become only saying what you time. So I Mr Merriam Mouse. I know it's up to me Just making sure I'm not into zebra. He's bursting on. I can't believe you're making me do this. We have to talk about that force movie will use you forced me to do this. Mm hmm. It's the most wonderful time of our show. Welcome back to a special Monday edition Off Forced MOVIE Review Friday, Right here on Jason and Alexis in the morning. It is a 33 on this Monday, November 23rd. Don't adjust your dial. Don't look at your calendar. It really is Monday, but because of Vacations and holidays were doing these on Monday for a little bit eyes assigned Dawn last week, the Romcom Classic. Bridget Jones's diary. Take it Away. Dawn. Yes. So okay, it got an 80% on rotten tomatoes and then maybe 1% audience score, which is sort of rare that it is in line with critics and audiences. Love loved it just the same. There was a lot of controversy surrounding her being cast in this role in 2001. Lot of British people were not happy with this, um, including Kate Winslet, who was up for the role and she got tired. Of waiting for an offer and decided to just star in another role. Helena Bonham Carter was also up for casting. She auditioned as well as Emily Watson. So and then they can American gets of British Character. They usually the opposite. Yeah, they do it all the time. So Renee Zellweger, she won the role. Hugh Grant defended her. Um, but the lot of controversy regarding this back in 2001. Um And I would say overall, I didn't think it was that bad. Oh, yes. Okay, So here's the thing I was really dreading. I know I'm never gonna love a romantic comedy. I'm never going to love a movie that centered around finding love. It's just not my thing. I think that women have more to achieve in this world than just waiting around for what man's gonna choose them. That's just my view on What? We should be reaching for his women and teaching little girls. Okay, so and I never dreamed of having a wedding. When I was little. I dreamed about what I was gonna be. When I grow up. It wasn't who I was going to marry. Thus the reason why I'm not married now, So, um, there's something so I thought I was really going to hate her British accent. I thought I was really gonna dread it and just it was always just gonna be there. Just me knowing that she's not British, but I kind of forgot about it within the 1st 10 minutes. Um, could I think it's because apparently she had a dialogue coach that was just constantly on her, You know, And at every move, like helping her with this, there was some really funny moments that I did laugh out loud when she was. She was a reporter injustice at this fire station doing this report and they're having her do these ridiculous things. And they want her to slide down this fire pole. Um, right before she interviews this guy and they want her to like, wear a short skirt. Well, they didn't have time for the went to another fire station first, so she had to try to climb back up the pole, which was a disaster, And when she slides down the pole, her butt is in full view of the cameras just basically a buckshot. She lands and she has no time for the report, so she's like. This is Bridget codes. Thank you. That was just you in the studio. Yes. Um, I also laughed that she's a bad cook. She's trying Tohno cook all of these things in the kitchen for her friends and blue. The blue soup s s. So there's this part in the recipe where she's supposed to tie all of these leaks together as she she's making this leek soup, but she didn't have any twine. So she uses this blue cellophane ribbon ribbon, and she's cooking down the leaks. And then she's off doing other things and realizes that now her soup is blue. She serves it anyway. And just being in the kitchen this weekend, Sort of being a disaster with my class and not having enough eggs. I was like, Oh, that is me for sure. Relatable? Yeah, totally. Um, and then. You know, there was a really funny sequence where Colin Firth and Hugh Grant are fighting in the street to it's raining men, and I just love the whole just just the funny view of like fight. We don't want to watch a fight, and they're like going into a restaurant as they're fighting. This kid's having his birthday party and like they basically all stop for the birthday cake to come through, and then they continue the fighting. It's all done to. It's raining men s O. I enjoyed that. Did you not love I I love that She goes out in her pan in her Lexus in her Alexis Thompson Granny panties. She runs out into the street to go get him in her panties and the looks of the extras Like all the people on the street staring of Bridget there better giant granite. Fanny's like that. You know those sexy ones. Those were supposed to be the sexy ones. But you know, Yes. There. The granny panties scene in it. Also when she gets with Hugh Grant and spoiler alert, and so she's like this for sure will make you know this whole make sure that nothing will happen. Of course, you put some money. It's the curse of wearing granny panties, right? Because you're gonna be seen naked in the granny panties. But, you know, Hugh Grant, I didn't know what to think about it because he is pretty charming. And it's hard not to like the guy, but then he ends up. Yes, just awful. Um and Colin Firth is sort of the guy who you think is awful to begin with. And because of some lies that Hugh Grant tells he ends up being the good guy in the end. You think that I am curious about is how do they make two more movies of this? Like the story's over? You don't need to make a 2nd and 3rd like there's Bridget Jones. Um, baby edge of reason..

Listen, you know they're doing a whole lot of construction. On Highway 89 in Davis County. $489 million worth of construction. They're building a freeway. They're replacing highway 80 not. Yeah, I know we're placing highway 89 with With a freeway essentially and as part of that process We, uh they're taking out the old Davis County water tank. Really? Yeah. Thie are Leyton this late in city water tank, the one that how will I remember? Yeah, Yeah, I'm sorry. It's gone. That's going to be right in the middle of where that freeway is. It's a massive undertaking. I guess it's really necessary. That road gets clogged up there. But that's going a lot of stuff is going to change. I just parents are a lot of houses down that way. We're going to have to go. A lot of things will be moved. And yeah, they're willing. Let's Listen. Mitt Romney has decried America's vile, vile, hate filled politics. I don't think we have any of that vile, hate filled politics in the race for Salt Lake County recorder. I don't know. Michelle Hobbes is the current Salt Lake County. A recorder. She's on the line with us Now. I think, Rochelle, are you there? Yes, I am. Good morning. Next. 96. How are you? I'm doing awesome. How are you, Gina, Bill and Carrie were doing relished. Now we talked to your opponent. Last week. Ah, Miss Preston. Ms Preston and first thing I wanted to ask her is why does anybody want to be a county recorder? So I want to ask you that question. Why? You have been the county recorder for a year. You apparently want to be the county recorder again. Why? Ideo. I have unique experience that I took my first position with Salt Lake County in 1996, and I have 17 plus years of public service. And I think that works at Salt Lake County provides is important. And I love it. To be honest with you. I love my job. But why? Bodywork County recorder? Why's it? Why is it important? It's important because we are the foundation to the real estate market. The work is important. I have a great team. And I love my job. Now you're your opponent. Republican. You're a Democrat. Aron President, She says that you you need to do a better job making documents searchable and viewable online for free. She made that point with with us when she was on the There. What do you responded So glad you brought that up. Yeah. So in response to the comment about the accessibility of your property record in the recorder's office. Turn shortly after taking office in 2019. I directed our staff to send anyone requesting a copy of their property record, which is public information. Email it If you've got an e mail address, she's got an address to Mel it to him. Which frankly flexibility that recorder's office is not have before I became your county recorder. You can also request a copy of your property record on our website, and it's kind of accessibility for the public is available. So our records are accessible, transparent, accurate. I want you to know that every recording and transaction would you matters. Andi also about our cove. It 19 mitigation plan. We have a complete mask mandate. We've got a skeleton on site crew. While maintaining critical services. Also I understand there was some criticism about having to make people make appointment. We had a plan in place. So when this virus hits at Lake County The Salt Lake County recorder's office was ready and having the public make appointments, not on the case. My team's safe. Keep the public safe is well. And it takes leadership to stay safe to stay open and scheduling. An appointment is really easy. You can do it online or by calling my office. And I will say that facial coverings the gloves, the puree on the social distancing have all become the new normal in this office. And we've been open throughout this pandemic. Well, listen. Best of luck to you in the race for Salt Lake County recorder. It's Rachelle Hobbs. She's the Democrat and she's running for re election. She's the incumbent. On DA. Sherlock Holmes, Millie Bobby Brown And Henry Cavill discussed on /Film Daily

"New story actually just broke that Henry Cavill, and Millie Bobby Brown had been cast in a Sherlock Holmes spin off the is that what it is h that's pretty accurate. This is a film called ino- la- homes, that's going to be under legendary and space off of the Nancy Springer children's book series, the Nola homes mysteries, which follows Sherlock and Mike, my coughed homes younger sister, ino LA, so this, I guess, technically the technical word would be spinoff, because it's not Sherlock Holmes story. It's about the younger character played by Millie, Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, will be playing the famous Sherlock Holmes. There's no news on who'd be playing my cross. But Helena, Bonham Carter will be on board to play. Ino- le's mother. And I guess, by extent sherlock's mother, maybe they're from different Mosey. I don't really know much about this series but the series became came around I with the two thousand six book, the case of McCain, missing marquess, and has covered six novels, which all revolve around mysteries investigated by Inova. We're the second. Movie remakes: the good, the bad and the ugly

"We look at remakes the good the bad, the ugly possibly some other surprises. Here is co host and actor Doug Hutchison, Doug, how's it going today? How are you, my friend? All right there. I'm good. I'm ready. I'm poised, I'm doing really, well, thanks for asking. And I'm excited about this topic movie remakes, I believe it was inspired, if I'm correct me if I'm wrong. But and our last show, we were talking our theme was movies about loss and grief surrender and one of my on the list was movie called pet cemetery based on the Stephen King novel, and I really enjoyed the rigid version, and then found out, they were making twenty nineteen version, which just came out, which I. Haven't seen, but I started lamenting about remakes and questioning the validity of remaking movies that are already made, you know, impeccably, so why remake them. So I think that spurred this topic on, but I just wanted to preface it this by saying that we call this remakes the good the bad and the ugly. But in my research, I actually surprised myself because I found that I actually started liking a lot of the remakes that was digging up the ones that I had seen. And so my list actually has more smiley Osman Ali faces on it. So I guess my list my list is not the good the bad nucleus that the good. I one ugly, just a mention at the very end just for the heck. But anyway, I was wrong. I just gotta say that. I'm gonna confess it. I was wrong. I think there is validity in making certain remakes and I have enjoyed as you'll see a handful of them. Many of us in smiley face by them. And I'm gonna tell you mine are just the opposite might have a frown. After after off your conversation. Holly told you I was looking at the positive and the bright side of everything. I'm gonna try and five five down. So. Great minor five thumbs up years or five down mice, the glasses have full years. At the half full once you're five. Okay, so in, in no sense of order whatsoever, by the way of priority. One of the remakes, actually really enjoyed is Tim Burton's Alice wonderland twenty ten. The original versions, of course, there, were it was nineteen fifty one there was a version of wonderland. And then there was a TV movie version in nineteen eighty five Tim Burton cast as the often does that amazing cast Johnny Depp. He's always cast in depth. So debt plays the mad Hatter Tim Burton's wife, who I've heard they possibly getting divorced. I think I read this the other day which is unfortunate, but it's life and relationship I suppose. Helena, Bonham Carter? It plays the Queen of hearts, young actress by the name of mea was the cow seat in Australian actress plays Alice Crispin Glover plays the knave of hearts. And I can say is in a nutshell Tim Burton. I mean. Filmmaking God or what move? He's actually come down from the mount filmmaking Olympics to give us his gifts or he's made a pact with the devil, because everything this man touches to me turns into gold and his vision, his, his special effects, his whole take on his movies are just unbelievably original income Pele. I loved him Burton as you do. And so Alison wonderland twenty ten Tim Burton's version. I loved it Coleman who call. I'm going to do research on the internet. I'm see anywhere. You came from a good place for that. It's great for me. Number five linking. Said, good things, these are not in order, because this might have been number one for me, the Halloween remakes, specifically by rob zombie. Who's the singer slash director? People that absolutely are in love with his movies. I find him to be one of the I hate shitting by hate it. It's not my style. Rob zombies, Halloween movies are among some of the worst I've ever seen, but not just Halloween. He directed. Oh shit. What are those movies he directed? All other coal classics God. How come I mean? Blinded, I loved that he made it wasn't a remake, but devils reach, I'm not gonna want a lot of people like that movie I do not. I, I don't like rob zombie style. He, he was on Howard Stern bragging on how quickly he shoots movies and I'm gonna know shit. It shows like it's like. Yeah, this looks like something you shot overnight, like it's I should be more friendly towards Massachusetts. Born director. I dunno house thousand corpses. Grind house at devil's rejects. I, I am not a fan of especially the Halloween. It's just he's not as cute as thinks he's on his creative as he thinks he is the movies, look like even shop quickly. There's there. I just find him highly unappealing I to tell you, I've had two interviews, one with another podcast host. Absolutely loved them. Shame on you for saying that. And then I had on the director of directed. I'm not gonna mention what he directed, but he dragged my favorite horror movies, and I said, I'm going to tell you I love this. I compare this something like rob zombie Halloween. I said, I'm not really a fan. He goes robs a friend. I'm like, oh, sorry. Okay. I should have said that. But I'm just I'm just not fan of rob zombie Halloween. And that doesn't even case into account. How awesome the original Halloween movies are even the last one they came out this past year with with. What's your name plays the lead in the Halloween movie stuck? My brain is out to lunch today. Gene, Jamie Curtis. Jamie Lee Curtis. Again, of course. Rijo. Yeah. And that was directed by the latest one when she was in. It wasn't directed by her. It was okay. But completely unnecessary leave the ones that came out the originals alone, their final even the one two three I love them. But yeah, that's how I lick never been touched again. And you and I have talked about the Halloween mask ironically whose face that is. And I hope I hope you believe me now it's face. I did not do any research because I think maybe just slipped yourself a little bit of acid or I don't know some kind of drug or something because that's crazy. I do not I because if I think about that, and I watched Halloween again, what my going to be
