Sebastian Discusses True School Safety Measures With Rob Young

"You've been on both sides of this scenario as a child you've been the victim of a school shooter. Now as a peace officer as a safety officer, you've dealt with active shooters. So you are the best qualified tell us in a compliment. What is your response to events like you valde or the one you live through? What are we not doing that we should be doing? We're not training enough. Our schools are a soft target and we need to do more with people they complain about, you know, we don't want our schools looking like prisons. And there's a way to do that without it. I mean, you worked at The White House. It's a beautiful, beautiful property. It doesn't look like a prison to me, but it's very hard to get on that campus and on that property. With our schools, we're not taking this into consideration. And I'm tired of the media jumping up and people calling for more gun control. You're never going to you're never going to rid society of evil. And that's the conclusion that I've come to. We need to do a better job in law enforcement with training. And equipping our police officers, we need to have police officers on campus. We need to have more police officers and more security personnel on campuses. We need to, you know, we need a funnel access to and from. And there's ways to do it. And again, our campuses are way too soft. I'm a firm believer of the gun is not the problem. The gun is the equalizer. And there are plenty of people that work in our school districts that have the training and the fortitude and the mindset to run towards evil when evil enters that campus and to engage that threat. And to keep that suspect or those suspects engage with these personnel rather than on our children, I tell the story of a friend of mine, Rick Moreno. Who served 30 plus years in law enforcement. And he and I were both sergeants together during his last 5

Rob Young Shares His Amazing Story

"Rob, you have an amazing story to tell. So I'm going to ask you what happened to you in January of 1986. And then what happened to you in May of 2016? Yeah, it was actually January of 1989. January 1719 89. I was a first grade at Cleveland elementary school in Stockton, California. And morning, I was one of 29 students who was injured when a gunman entered on our campus during recess. He was armed with an AK-47 and a 9 millimeter, and he took in on us children as we played on the playground. 5 of my classmates were killed that day and I was I was shot twice that day. I had a round travel through my right foot. When I hit the ground, I had another round hit the pavement in front of me and I still have a very large piece of that bullet in my chest to this day. How old were you, rob? I was 6 and a half years old at the time. And who tell us about the shooter Patrick purdy who was he? What was his connection to the school and did anybody work out why he did what he did? Yeah, well, obviously, you know, he did what most cowardly active shooters do and as the police arrived, he ended up in his own life after his own evil deed there. And so nobody really knows. He was a student at that school at one time. He was a drifter from what I understand and when I read up about him, he grew up in and out of the criminal system was arrested several times, had some mental health issues, you know, just very, very violent person went around the few days before the shooting and was bragging and bars that he was going to make history.

Sean Davis: If a Baby Is Not Human, What Species Is It?

"We're not psychiatrists shown, but I have to ask you to react to what we've seen over the weekend again and again and again. Not only was there pregnant woman outside the Supreme Court with a massive belly which had written on her belly, not a human yet. I mean, just mind numbing indoctrination. There are so many reports as even video Shaun of pro abortion protesters there with their little children wearing political t-shirts and what have you. What does that tell us about the place that this party has sunken to? Well, first off, I hope the baby inside that woman is not human. Exactly what species was she fornicating with. Good question. Good question. It's always amused me. If the baby is not human, what species is she, and if she's not alive, why do you need to kill it? Right. We all know that's absurd, even that person knows that absurd. What they're actually saying is that I don't believe that this person inside me is entitled to the same rights. I have because if that were the case, it would be inconvenient for me. And when you take that into account, it makes clear that while we think this is a political battle, it's actually not. It's a spiritual battle. There's clearly an otherworldly element here. And what I saw over the weekend in the reactions from the left was just was purely demonic.

Fighting the Pro-Abortion Cult With The Federalist's Sean Davis

"First guest of the day, cofounder CEO of that amazing website. We love so much. Great content there every day. It's the federalist and he's Shaun Davis Sean. It's been a long time. Welcome back. Thank you for having me. All right, gotta ask first. I didn't rehearse this. I was just looking at my notes. Have you seen Top Gun? Absolutely. Good. I just wanted to make sure because we could even discuss that. It has broken a billion bucks, wokeness is in trouble a $1 billion for Top Gun: Maverick in just the last couple of weeks. But let's stick on the topic we invited for you here today. Let's get the left reaction, the mainstream lying media's reaction to the announcement from Friday. This is this giant of a man. He doesn't even qualify as a rhino. Joe Scarborough cut 6. Even the language, there was a violence to the reasoning. We win, you lose. Yeah. We're taking away these rights, and there's nothing you can do about it. If somebody disagrees with me, please let me know where a court has overruled a right that's been in place for 50 years and done so in such such an aggressive manner with absolutely no grace and absolutely no outreach to their legal or ideological opponents. Sean Davis, the violence of this 70 page decision that I'm sure you have read as well as I have, the aggression, and the lack of grace. The left saying conservatives have no grace, your reaction. Well, I got to tell you that the side that has no grace is the one that refuses to recognize the humanity and innocent unborn babies. And they're the last people on earth that I ever want to hear that word come from. Ideologically morally, there's no real difference between abortion, which is taken alive. I think it's something from 60 million to 70 million babies over the last 50 years. In America, in America alone, 800,000 a year. Absolutely. Yeah. This, what happened on Friday is on par with the immense patient proclamation. In the Pantheon of American history, it is one of the greatest things ever to have been done in the face of unspeakable

Colorado Gubernatorial Candidate Heidi Ganahl on Hispanic Voters

"Believe there is a political realignment happening where Hispanics are starting to come in the Republican direction and record numbers. Now, Colorado, I believe, is 18, 19% Hispanic, which is more than what people would guess so if you just think of Colorado, talk about how Hispanics are starting to defect from the Democrat party, and I believe that's making polis rather nervous, that kind of reliable Hispanic base is all of a sudden probably being put into question, isn't it? It is. It is. The Hispanic voters in Colorado care a lot about family values and faith and community and education is really important to them that their kids get a good education. 5%, only 5% of Hispanic kids endeavor public schools can read a grade level right now. That report just came out a few weeks ago. Parents are really ticked off. We also have one of the highest inflation rates in the country right here, even compared to the national average, people can't afford to live in our state anymore. And Jared pullis thought it was a good idea to bring the new green deal to Colorado. And he's decimated our oil and gas industry here. And we produce some of the cleanest energy on the planet, but he'd rather us be not energy independent and go to Iran, Russia, and Venezuela to buy gas and oil, which is ridiculous. And it's also unpopular from that mistake and every time tracking bands get to the people of Colorado, they vote them down, don't they? They do. They do. And they actually voted it down and then Jared polis and the legislature, a couple of years later, put it through, regardless that the people. They do that all the time. And now we have one of the most obnoxious disgusting abortion laws in the country right here, abortion until birth. That is not how the people of Colorado are telling me they feel about that issue. So that's something we've got to go full on and turn back here.

Exposing a Multi-Million Dollar Democrat Scheme With Heidi Ganahl

"Kunal, who is running for governor of Colorado, Heidi, welcome to the program. Hey, Charlie is so good to see you. Thanks for having me on. So I want to talk to you about a couple things about your race, but first I want to try to nationalize this for our audience. You're mentioned in this article in The Wall Street Journal. Why Democrats are funding the GOP fringe about how some of your opponents are actually getting benefit from Democrat super PACS. This is something that is now happening in more and more primary races across the country where Democrats are inserting themselves into our primaries. Tell us about this and tell about how it applies to your race. Yeah, it's been crazy the last few weeks. We've found out that the Democrats are putting about $3 million into our race for governor, our primary race. So they're trying to pick their opponents. And they certainly don't want to run against me. That's very evident as the polling looks great for me going up against one of the wealthiest guys in Colorado who's destroying our state here. And I am a fighter, as you said, I am ready to take it to the map Jared polis and win back our beautiful state, but he wants to keep me from even getting through the primary by dumping millions of dollars into the Democrat governors association and another organization progress now that he helped found a few years ago.

Darren Beattie on a New Bombshell Story Out of the J6 Committee

"So there's a lot of questions about what's happening this summer. And I'll be very honest. I haven't watched a second of the January 6th prime time committee. I do know one person who is watching it very closely and also has a phenomenal peace out at revolver news, and that is Darren Beatty, who has done some of the most rigorous and I would say important investigative journalism legitimately important investigative journalism in the last couple of years. Darren, welcome back to the program. Great to be back. Thank you for having me, Charlie. So Darren, I haven't watched the prime time committee hearings. Can you just give our audience? I don't think our audience has either really, what have they been talking about? Do you believe that they're building momentum towards a criminal conspiracy case against Trump, give us the update? Yes, and in fact, look, you're not missing anything by not watching it. And I would recommend anybody waste their time watching it because as I've stated on your program before, what's important about January 6th is what they're not talking about. And so you're not going to get anything of value from them. But you might get something of value from this latest revolver dot news piece because it really explores this latest push of the January 6th committee toward criminal prosecution. You're hearing a lot of commentators say, oh, what's going on? Is this an audience for one, which I guess for them would be good because it's been a ratings flop, actually. And that one person is Merrick Garland, the attorney general. And the idea is the committee will serve up effectively and indictment for Merrick Garland to use to prosecute Trump. Now, the political dimensions of this are manifestly scandalous and inappropriate. For the regime, the Biden regime to hang over the head of Trump, who is the presumptive GOP nominee. Biden's presumptive political rival to hang over his head, the possibility of criminal prosecution is really

Victoria's Secret Is Now in the Business of Shifting Culture

"But I want to talk about an article. This is by Chris ruffo and Citi journal. It's called social justice lingerie. And the article is just downright funny. It's not intended to be funny, ruthless, not exactly like a laugh, a minute guy, but what he's describing is how a Victoria's Secret. They came under fire from all these left wing activists. They came under fire for no other reason that their basic business model was beauty, right? This is the idea of saying to women if you want to look beautiful if you want to look like a model, these are the clothes you should wear. And of course, to some degree, it's an illusion as all advertising is to some degree an illusion, but nevertheless, the activists were up in arms and they started raging about the fact that Victoria's Secret was transphobic and didn't care enough about the environment. It was doing deforestation and so on. Well, what's happened is Victoria's Secret has sort of completely surrendered, and what that means is they've sort of, first of all, they booted out all their old kind of famous models, people like Heidi Klum and Gisele Bündchen and Tyra Banks, all these people are like out they're gone. They don't represent true social anymore. In fact, they represent an actual social. They don't represent Victoria's Secret anymore. In fact, they represent they probably should represent true social. It'll probably be great for true social. Tyra Banks join truth social. That's where I hang out these days. Gisele Bündchen. Find me on truth social. You might get more than you bargained for. No. Anyway, the point here is that Victoria's Secret has decided to go with a new coterie of models. People like Megan Rapinoe, LGBTQ activist, people like transgender transgender swimsuit model Valentina sampaio. Or Amanda de cadenet. So Amanda, the academy says the point of Victoria's Secret is no longer to sell underwear. It is to quote shift culture.

"One of the beautiful things right now is that we're seeing a even as you're gonna make in the the euro version of tether you're starting to see a lot of these stable coins are starting to hit the market and various facets of the world. Do you think that we're going to see more stable coins. Kind of pop up around or do you still think that. A lot of pairs gonna ultimately still point to like a bitcoin. Our theory. I think he does a lot more that can be done in the stable coin arena. I think we are at the end of the journey. I'm and i think it goes by to. What are we trying to do with stable coins of. What are we trying to solve in financial services with this product and say You want to get paid with heidi volatile. Stop like however with a stable coin. I could be paid. I could be making payments. I pay my supply products and that becomes really interesting. Won't see those use cases for what you can. You can do as an example. We've i did. I punish shipped with kp jay which is a property company. New york by that customers were saying. Can we pay by digital assets is like yes so they work with us and so you can help. Pay your rent in new york with usc. Say all bitcoin. Whatever you want against solves problems people doing so. I think when we shouldn't be talking about this from a technology psych which is. What is the problem that we're trying to address yet. And i think when you look at some of the issues on costs timeframes in traditional financial services i'm talking remittance payments to cross-border. I'm to supply chain. Then we can really really do something. That is exciting. What i would hope we get to a place where not far away where we don't talk about. Stable coins could creek addresses. We're talking about how we're solving problems. And it's just the underlying technology that is the brought china and the interpretation in the application of that. So i think we're right at the beginning We've got a lotta potest. Hoodings really really interesting. Use cases and applications fall stable coins. And i think we're going to have a very exciting future on this.

That was born under different circumstances and so i really just encourage people to frame their baby within the context of their baby you know within the context of The challenges that that baby in those parents have worked together to overcome. And you know full term. Babies aren't perfect either. You know they have plenty of issues. and in in terms. Of like. I don't mean to say that in a negative way but there's plenty to manage you know there's always milestones to meet and so i think if parents Can make a space for that grief Of knowing that they have to think differently. Like you were talking about Really wanting to make sure that your daughter's early intervention care was on-track like that's a big job. You know it's a. It's a lot of mental bandwidth. It's it's her you know it's just her so I think really staying focused on the child in front of you is the best way to go. It sounds simple. But i don't know i don't know a better way You know and we used to celebrate every one of those milestones. We just said anything. She did was extraordinary. We've that's right. We were so happy she could crawl up the two steps because we didn't know if she was going to be able to and celebrating each of those milestones in its own place and when it was and when it happened for her so big for us because we just celebrated every single thing that we that she did absolutely and That's you're filling. Your joy tank were killing our choice. That's for sure after working very hard. All of her early intervention care is something. We talk about so frequently. Heidi and i'm sure you talk about it a lot and sometimes i think it goes in one ear and out the other because it is so hard for parents to think about self care to a think about what that could mean. Talk to us about it. Sure i think the biggest maybe misconception about self care is that it has to be big and grand and that You know self care is kind of In recent years it's something that's marketed to people now and with that marketing.

Analyzing the Boom in True Crime Content Across Media Platforms

"The true crime podcast audiences seventy five percent women. That's kind of an astounding stat right. Well i think as we are more socialized to know that the world could be dangerous in us a place. That's dr heidi horsely. She's a psychologist specializing in grief. Counseling and his co founder of the open to hope foundation or constantly looking at our bass being very aware of our surroundings nothing in allies at night. you know. we're very very aware that we be victim us. So i think that and i also think women are very social we. We're very connected. One understand other people. I think we tend to be very people oriented earned maybe in family oriented. Nothing arch but often slim our remorse. And maybe that harbors. Well like protecting our pack. It's an interesting thing. Because i hadn't realized the true crime audience was quite as skewed towards women as it is and i'm certainly a watcher also and i think it allows us to feel to. You know we see something that's like love based or brings us laugh films. Get to make us feel things that maybe we don't necessarily want to feel jeff as a man. What do you think about that. It's definitely a different experience. Being a man like i don't have to look over my shoulder in the same way. After a certain age. I think for most men. You're not prone to being a victim. And i can walk through a parking lot without fear which i think is a privilege that i have not fully appreciate until working with courtney and stuff on crime projects so being aware of that privilege i think is has been eye opening and i think putting myself in your shoes in listening to a podcast i would like. Oh yeah that's a red flag. You could see how a toxic relationship between jake and hannah or however you describe it. What can you learn from that. It's way easy to spot things in other people's lives in our own to you know so there is a real tool from that we can look at anybody and say oh. I see the red flag bear and is that bad from psychological even for listeners. Who are listening to this driving on their way to work or you know doing whatever it is we do when we hear a podcast is it because we are desperate to hear other people's bad stuff because our lives feel better. I don't think so. I think it's people are desperate. Hear really extreme tales because it helps us categorize things in our own life and maybe look out for things differently because when you're in the thick of it it's really hard to see out of trouble. Sometimes we don't spotted as cleanly in our own lives

Dr. Heidi: It's Not Normal, It's Toxic

"Drama and chaos keeps others attention on the toxic personality and the things that they need. Toxic people are not programmed to think about others. They're not programmed to think about the consequences. They're not program to think about others feelings as long as their needs are being met and when we talk about before things that they need control power attention and admiration in a chaotic environment. They feel all of those things so they're gonna continue to throw chaos. You're way and we continue to avoid because of a fight or because of criticisms or because of disappointing them so we learn to adapt to chaos very quickly. I remember being disappointed so much. That disappointed really became a way of life. So what are the. What are some of the ways that they cause chaos and keep chaos going. They will start arguments out of the blue for the sake of arguing okay. You've been loading the dishwasher this way for years and all of a sudden last tuesday. There was an argument about how you're loading the dishwasher. Okay arguments 'cause our attention to go to them. Arguments also always end in usually the toxic person quote winning the argument when they win an argument they feel power which makes them feel secure. If in the argument they can make you feel bad about yourself. They also feel power which makes them feel secure. So when there's nothing going on all of a sudden an argument will just start of the blue and you may feel like what they're arguing over is something really little but the reason they causes arguments is to cause chaos in your life so your attention goes on them because now we have a fight.

She is the legal assistant who is primarily responsible for probate proceedings. And she's also the property manager at flemington kurdi which is An unusual job. Description that i'm going to ask her to explain to you. Heidi thank you for sitting down and joining me with on this sharing. Thanks for inviting me. I know you're gonna have a blast for those of you. Don't have the opportunity to watch heidi right now. Oh that would be everybody but me. She's looking very nervous. Like something very bad is going to happen. I promise nothing bad is going to happen. All right heidi. I promised also our listeners. That that i would talk to you about property management. I think most law firms don't have a job title property manager But we do why. Why do we need somebody to do. Property management Because we're responsible for a lot of property for various wards and also property related to states and pro bates and trusts and property means gold bars and dubloons than sometimes. Yeah we've had a fair amount of gold bars It also can mean rodeo horses. Airplanes farms in north dakota hotels near the border Airplanes lots of houses. You name it. yeah. I'm impressed that you did real estate. We you handle a lot of real estate and not to say. That's the the core point of your property management job but that's one of the things that we do. So what do you have to do with real estate. Depending on the situation A some sometimes. At least part of the time i have to clear out a home Get it ready to list. And sometimes that's a pretty easy process on sometimes it's It's a hoarding situation. For example it might be a big job. No that we recently had a piece of real estate. Come into the office for from someone who had had been a hoarder and lived in a quite a while that we had people in have has met suits out there shoveling out. Yeah there were about one hundred mice living in the house. I didn't know that anybody counted them. Well it was a lot more than usual one. Two three Yeah so that was One of the dirtier jobs and fortunately we got has met out there to do the icky part And so now we're dealing with rodent infestation and then will i assume get the house ready to get on the market and it's not just selling houses. Sometimes we're in the business of buying houses That goes through your office right right and then just managing houses paying utilities making sure. A proper insurance is in place For cars and houses on an ongoing basis Hoa's are paid and kept happy. that type of thing cars. You mentioned we have to do with the insurance on cars. "You mind sharing what brought you to life work? What brought still birthday to life first? I want to begin by telling you how enamored I am to have this opportunity to have some space just with you off. As you know as things start to progress kind kind of changes your permissions to really enter into deliberate conversation about this thing you're doing rather than doing the thing you're doing and so having an opportunity to just really pause and take stock of the past decade. It's really an invitation to my spirit and I want to thank you for offering that for me. You're so welcome. So birthday started. It's an extension of my life. And so to try to make that as I don't know as expeditious as possible. I was raised as an orphan and when social workers are the the people of influencing or life social workers become who you might aspire to be you someday and so I really was on this trajectory of becoming a social worker when I experienced my first pregnancy and that really was transformative for me and I learned about do love support and dead. We're still marveled by it that I really pushed the brakes on everything and took this left her and became a doula and so I had been a doula for about ten years when I went in for an ultrasound and learned that my baby wasn't alive and it was in that moment that I really feel that still birthday was born. It was a moment. I was in total darkness it was you know, the ultrasound lady was talking to me and I just wanted to say just be quiet because I was sure that this miracle was going to take place thought that my baby was going to return to life and when that ultrasound screen was shut off and the totality of the moment was really solidified in that moment. I was absolutely overwhelmed. I didn't know how to get up off of the crinkly paper of the ultrasound table. Everything was catastrophic and I just thought Exact same time. I just wanted to find the next mom. Where is she I'm panicked for her because I can't undo what's happening to me. But I have to find her. I don't want her to be alone and weeks off by and I was so unsettled with this sense of where is she? I have to find her she's going through this Darkness to it was a July night of that same year and the way that I know my story is literally the Holy Spirit woke me up and said, what are you waiting for? So I started a free blog. I thought it would need to be this beautiful thing and very meticulous organized and everything put together, but that's not the way that it happened. I just started with was a free blog and I started a pot of coffee in the middle of the night and just started pouring everything. I knew about birth the third trimester and translated that to what is it like for birth in the second trimester and what is it like her birth in the first trimester and I did that for about a week or two age. Kids in bed start a pot of coffee and just pour everything I knew into this free database and at the end of it I launched it and I shared it with first workers and just said, you know, what's your take on this? What's the vibe that you're getting from it? Do you like it? And it touched every demographic it touched all the different sort of communities that you would think would be unreachable. If you're reaching the other community really was crossing all these thresholds. It was pro-life versus pro-choice. Everyone was on board with that. It was, you know, any way that you could slice the birds Community, right? We all thought we were just touched by this message that there needs to be a paradigm shift, and I think that globally we were ready for it. I think that we were ready for this beginning of this Paradigm change that song to take place. That's I have so many thoughts. As I was listening. that moment when you hear I'm just sitting with it when you hear those words, there's no heartbeat or and going to wage was your sonographer compassionate even when you were saying I just wanted her to stop talking for a moment off and I was just dead. Thinking to how those moments transcends all cultures all faiths. All demographics. Hm. Yeah, it really does. I think when it does it makes people uncomfortable because it's a new thing and so especially at the beginning there were a lot of questions to be fleshed out like Heidi you're sharing your face openly. So how do you feel about me when I don't have that, you know, things like that and I think what ends up happening is that June 1st day has become a platform for all of our voices. We all bring something very special and unique. One thing that I'm finally starting to see is a real unified voice speaking into for example, the Democratic of families women who are of color that specific statistics that they carry the specific realities that are charged to carry and hold and the difficulties in that and I'm not a person of color. So what still birthday does is it gives all of us a platform to speak authentically off. To our authentic demographics and think what ends up coming from that is the imbued permission that we realize that we have not that we're granted permission, but that we have a commission intrinsically to be who we are in to allow that to speak into such a vulnerable space as a birth Doula as a traditional birth Doula for about a decade. I was really trained in Chicago opened to believe that medical intervention was the steepest left turn that you do everything in your power. It's a birth Doula to prevent medical support in some within our demographic home and there's the right to live for every family but there are some do those who believe that medical intervention is the. Where do you live support meets? That is. Hold that I will support you in so you need an epidural and that's my threshold. I might support you until you need a cesarean birth. And that's my threshold. If you cross that threshold, I will leave the hospital I walk. Leave the birth space that is not where my training has carried me too. That's not where my heart space is carried to and we all have different reasons for that for the individuals to do that. But that was my framework. It was cesarean is sort of the worst case scenario. So what can I do to prevent that at all odds and you know, we talked like this little sprinkle of miscarriage of a Sprinkle of silver is in our dialogue, you know, the two pages in chapter 7 of this text that were reading just to sort of say that we covered our bases but we don't really unpack their life and we've always perceived it as this totally different dimension that's really sort of off the table. That's for other people for for the death speak people. That's not for the life span of people.
