The Arctics Mysterious Ping
"In two thousand sixteen. A man piloted his sailboat. Through the fury and hecklers straight in the northern canadian territory of nunavut as he cut through the water his sonar equipment emitted a peculiar sound. It was a single long tone high pitched and shrill to consistent to be run of the mill background noise after a few moments. The sound stopped but it had already kick started a mystery. The sailor was the first person to hear the nunavut ping. We don't know how word spread but soon news of the pain had reached the local at town of igloo. Lick as with many small hamlets in northern canada. A lot of glue lick residents relied on the ocean. They made their living hunting seals and other water mammals and they usually found their prey in the fury and hecklers straight. This waterway boasted an abundance of seals and was free from ice year round but recently hunters had struggled in the fury and hekla straight. Nobody knew why but the animals were disappearing win. The glue lick heard about the ping. They assumed a connection. The southbound must be driving the seals out of the fury and heckler straight even more concerning the ping hadn't done away over the next few weeks other hunters and if few vacationers on yachts detected it as well. If they listened carefully they could hear it through their hall but it appeared clear as day on sonar witnesses described it as a beep abuzz or most commonly ping no one could figure out where it came from

I'll call them It's i think the whole concept of looking at ways to win and win. Big is a fabulous. If you've come from so many different directions so congratulations and that's what gets me excited that there is a fourteen year old or a seventeen year old. Who's delaying her. Walk an admission by a year because of a second stock raising millions of dollars it's amazing and just fascinates me by saying this so much learn and so little time let's maximize so lewis jump right. I really want to follow a career before we get to storytelling because everybody including me today. We want to know about storytelling bit. Better storytellers. okay. Let's talk by lou. The anchorman the reporter in stations grudging not carolina. What will share a few key moments from those days at some key lessons and learning. That took from news anchorman. That made you better in future. Thanks first of all. I had a great opportunity when i was fourteen. A cousin of mine in pittsburgh pennsylvania where i was living have been a reporter for a small little local paper and he knew i love to news and that i could write a little bit so at age fourteen. I got to start writing for a newspaper. Little weekly paper outside of pittsburgh. That's where i guess. I got the bug me to to be in the news business. So i studied at the university of north carolina hill have a double degree in journalism and in a radio television. So the greatest thing that happened to be there was. I auditioned for A news anchor position when i was nineteen years old for the state's public television system. So here i am. I'm a freshman in college. And i'm on the air twice a day and for the whole rest of my college career. I mean what what an amazing experience that was. And i think i think the biggest lesson i learned there in my other news positions was if you want something ask for it. People have every right to say no and they're certainly things. I've asked for over the years where people have said. No but i think if you believe in yourself and you believe you have something to contribute go ahead and ask for it and see what happens a great deal of the things that happened to me professionally over. The years simply came. Because i took one extra step and said may i do that addition for that may i try out for that and i think. That's i at the people i've talked to over the years who've also had some success in their life i they would echo. That look is a statement before that if you don't ask them so is no loved about how you added that because now it's like the whole excitement. How is nick up as he came closer to the screen. Sissy were happens that extra step. I think that healing so. I think people pick up on that you know. It's not like well okay. He thinks he can make a few extra bucks. So maybe he'll try out for this job but it was really something. It really been my dream. I'm one of those unusual people in many ways. When i was eight years old. I can trace it back to being eight years old. I always dreamed of being on television. I was a great fan of the early comedians. Jack benny steve allen. Red skelton names of people. Today don't know very well. But i always dreamed of someday having a chance to be on television and i got to do it for about fifteen years of israeli a pleasure. And you heard it here. Bus new heckler eight-year-old dreamt tv. Created the opportunity planning so and was an all star. So lou eighteen. This is part of your life. I did not know what to me. "To the manager. And let God make the play. Number one. Don't listen to heckler's. What does the heckler want to do? Wants to get in your head. And that's what Babylon tried to do to Daniel and his friends. They called them names. Other names, names after their gods. They in effect said Hey, you got nothing. This is our house we own you. So Coach Daniels first technique is not to give heart to what the hecklers say. Let them call you what they want. Let them call you And evolved mammal. Let them call you Human capital. Let them call you discount driven consumer. Let them call you after the names of their gods. Don't give heart to what they call you. Because you know the truth. You are created. Image of God once was lost. But now is found You are someone for whom Jesus was willing to die. By baptism into his death and resurrection by faith in him. You are an adopted child of God, a sister, a brother off the crucified and risen ruling and returning King. You know who you are? And who your judges. You know that he is gracious and that none compared to him. You know that he will be your help in the fire. So don't listen to hecklers. Technique number two Appeal to the manager. Don't argue with the official. Arguing with the officials a surefire.
The top waiver-wire pickups for Week 3 of fantasy football
"Tap waiver wire picked for me this week. Is going to be 40 Niners runningback Jerick. McKinnon makes sense. McKinnon is available currently in 73% of ESPN League, so widely available and with the most injury, coupled With Kevin Coleman also being gone for a couple of weeks. This seems like an opportunity for the big free agent signing for Kyle Shanahan Step up and have Ah productive week and at least for a couple of weeks. I think he's the at least for this week. I think he's definitely the best ad long term. Maybe not because most it will return. So if you're just looking for help for this week, maybe a couple of weeks. Jerick. McKinnon is your best bet this week on the planet Jets, other playing A. Who cares? The Giants there. Still, I stayed in New York and you look the Giants Steelers. The Bears have run the ball on the Giants, and they stayed in New York. They're playing the Giants, so I would think that that's they're going to try to ground and pound. This is saline advice is always from the update and grapple is positive, right? Like they think he's gonna play? Yes, Okay again, though, it's it's obviously Tuesday, so it's hard to say anything definitively. But my cannon is the top waiver wire pick up, especially If you're hurting at running back, and if you have sake one if he had most, sir, if you had McCaffrey, and now you're starting to Sergio. Look, Yorgos got to start Jamal Williams from crying out. I got Jamal waves in my story. You might be hitting your waiver wire to pick up Jack Kennedy on the can, For sure, he's gone in one of my All right. Who else? Hide Let me fire Rams running back. Donald Henderson was highly drafted. You have Malcolm Brown, who left last week's game with a finger injury, along with Who's the other Ocampa and left with a rib injury as well. So Darnell Henderson stepped in. I think I believe you had 80 total yards from scrimmage. So Donald Henderson is my second ad. He is available in 54% of leagues. 50 44. That's good Darnell game this week. Rams and Bill's about it to Owen omits to know that those of a good man, that's an exciting game. This's now I'll give you a couple of guys right here. One's more of a long term play. The other is going to be a better bet. Immediately, but probably not for the long term. Joshua Kelly, Los Angeles Chargers, he is it looks like he has stepped right into the Melvin Gordon roll from last season. Austin Heckler obviously, is the main running back that you want with the Chargers. Things were better. With Justin Herbert under center. It's undeniable. Tyrod Taylor comes back. I'm I'm not nearly as enthused, but I have a hard time believing Anthony Lynn is just going to give the ball back to Tyrod Taylor. If Justin Herbert continues to be productive, why

"And what they bring the cable you find really great stops and so over the US. I've got a lot of great input and was able to sort of tram in home. The same play also. According to the era you remember that a black president was elected in two thousand eight and so a heat. Oh I got a lot of condolence calls for bird. Sorry burdens dead. Now we have a black president and I said boy I hope so at a lot of people said well you have to write in acknowledge it sort of day. I didn't do that I had tried it for a second but you know what I'm not going to modernize this Louis. This movie took place in Nineteen Ninety seven ninety six ninety seven. I'M GONNA keep it right so we fruit of the movie but Yes. I took the input I thought about it. But he's so. You have a very eclectic talented cast you know for those listening Tom. Wilkinson Gary huddling amazing headline amazing performance. Usher Forest Whittaker. I'M STARTING TO FORCE. Whittaker might have a future and acting. Andrew I don't I don't know that's that's my first impression but I have to say there's a lot you know we we know about whitaker's ability but there's a lot of great acting in this in this movie outside. Of what forest does I mean Garrett Hedlund I mean what? A risky took a lot of risk taking here when you assemble a cast like this is all. Your decision is a collaborative decision. How does that work again? you know. I think that for the most part on most movies. It's more collaborative this movie. Robbie Brenner is there. My producer supporting me whenever she always do the same thing. Look here's my input. She would give it and then she would say but this is your movie so doing everyone did and I mean she. It was insane because I realized they may never have that experience again. But ask you love steelers so sometimes especially Like Brennan Status just to give you a little backstory. We were casting this movie during the run up to the two thousand sixteen election there was a lot of hate gone room at a lot of Israel..

"But I guess is the writer and director of the new release burning. Please welcome Andrew Heckler. Thank so much for coming on the show today. Thanks for having me. So there's before we get into your acting before you're directing in your writing abilities here you have some interesting acting credits that I thought I'd touch upon quickly if you don't mind Oz Oz Armageddon Frazier ally mcbeal. You know your way around. Those are pretty impressive. Interaction out of New York and did a lot of doubts. Peter but you know I started working more as an actor in Los Angeles and New York Towards the later part of my career and You know it was great. I mean really frazier. I loved all the all the shows that I did and I really had a good time on movies that I was able fortunately able to do. And how much did you pick up from just being on a set to the smallest of parts? I mean Did you did you? Did you learn a lot from your experiences or did you learn it from other places you find that you know that early acting experience early on served you well as as a writer director? See that absolutely. I mean I did a lot of independent movies as well and a lot of times. You're sitting around thinking yourself. I can do this dog in place the camera here much faster. I see I see things very clearly. You know and so that that's when you start feeling like maybe you're more of a director at certain moments and it will but I will say that you know from the kind of movies did I write especially burden you know that. My acting background was invaluable because burden. The United Scores Actors. Peace and Really helped me understand You know and I I was. I was dauntingly gifted with amazing actors. Who are the top of top of their field so the ability to make them feel comfortable to trust me to feel heard studied. I always wanted an actor that I made sure that I heard it on them at accurate in my movie. Yeah and that's certainly. Serves you well coming into this? Because you know we. We talk about burden to twenty-eight released. We're looking at a week from today right. Is that correct? Andrew all released so that's got to be really exciting for you. I mean I was really fortunate to to screen. It loved the movie for this to be your first directing credit. If I'm not mistaken is pretty impressive I mean. Do you feel like you've accomplished something pretty special here. Yeah I mean you know. Sometimes you don't know how ambitious you're being until you're finished with the project and people go. Oh my God But he was an incredibly ambitious project. And you know that can only happen with with help passionate commitment of a equally ambitious and brave producer and I had one in Robbie Brenner and so many people. Don't talk about their producers. As for Sean filmmakers but I can tell you bad you know. She was relentless in getting this made. She was implicitly. Supportive on the set when we had problems and difficulties which you always run through.
The predatory publishers sucking science's blood (Summer Season)
"Quake the doot of a Predator as a reporter. You get all kinds of of little suggestions. Tips complaints this. And you can't deal with them all. This one intrigued me. I had started to hear about similar complaints and sort of once. You hear enough of them the signal adds up you think. Maybe there's a story here. What was I seeing What what the clued that? That Mela rash well. I was a researcher myself. I was a faculty librarian at my university and I did. Research probably starting five six years ago I I was always looking for publishing opportunities. I started getting letters and I started to receive these emails. Sort of saying extremely nice. Nice things to me that basically said call for Paper Journal Editors Wanting Me To submit my manuscript to their journal and they had lots of grammatical errors in addition to that one and the emails and then generally speaking editor. I don't say very nice things about you and they don't typically they don't write to you and ask you to submit a manuscript. Will you ever tempted to meet. No no I mean I'm a clinical epidemiologist in some of these journals were lifted from soil. Science right why would somebody from soil science be asking me saying Nice things about me. They wouldn't no me from anywhere he's smells a rat. I did maybe several but that rash or several thousand read via now. Well and truly on the loose predatory publishes and the Predatory Journal has become a mega industry global in reach ending ending destructive potential. In fact you're going to hear from someone who believes that the industry represents the big threat to don in the inquisition shen the US. Federal Court recently ordered one of the biggest of the company to pay up over fifty million. US dollars only make. International headquartered voted in Hyderabad in India but also operating in the US climbed the publish hundreds of medical journals found to employ deceptive business practices essentially entrapping fantasy to offer published in the Journal or participate in conferences. The Doug the ruling bye-bye predatory publishes well. Let's see if Any of that money actually moves anywhere. It's not clear with a the group will cough up that fifty million dollars which is an estimate of how much the company made from customers over a period. All whether we'll appeal we tend to leave leaked of question to its representative yet to receive a reply but it is nice. Clear message to all the Sake Journal. Publishers of the world that they're being watched watched and there could be consequences. Joan Bohannon thought journalists and now director to add an artificial intelligence data in San Fran called primer. They didn't biscuit slipping under the radar. And using American Canadian European banks to move money millions of dollars of money from a complicit gains so this court ruling basically makes that extremely inconvenient to do now. John was to present evidence in the kite board again. Anthem IQ Group by the Federal Trade Commission. Because he'd had an unusually Hansa with the publisher so all mix was one of hundreds of publishers offers that I tested in sting operation. I wrote some computer code to generate thousands of very bad scientific papers. They have been negative kind of legendary inside the back in two thousand twelve John Reporting for the general died and the Expression Predatory Journal Common News. there was a guy named Geoffrey Yu who was probably the only person around making in a big public. Stink about this and trying to actually Shine a light on it. It was very very bold effort. He had something called feels list or at least it became known as beal's lest my name is Jeffrey Bill. And I'm a retired academic librarian from University of Colorado Denver. But make the deal. Beal Blackley fame and a climb and karate he was the first to coin. The Phrase Predatory Journal the Journal. Publishers hated being malysz because it it stigmatizes them in meant that their income was decreased. Most of the predatory publishers are predatory not only in their publishing but in just the way they operate in general and they would use the heckler's actors veto. They would call the library director and complain about me and they would try to annoy people at my university as much as possible in order to manipulate those people at the university to make me stop the list so that their complaints would stop. I also received several threats of legal action including think it was is in twenty twelve international threatened to sue me for one billion dollars one billion dollars. It was just a threat. What I learned from it is that you can basically basically pay an attorney? Five hundred dollars all right a threatening letter so they they did that but they never followed through with. It was never introduced in any court consequences consequences. Jeffrey of running that black leaked were immense. And I'll come back to that. One estimate suggests that there are at least eight thousand predatory journals it is just one publisher of many but Jeffrey Bill provocatively cold. The the evil empire of Predatory Publishing I stand Dan by that statement and what they do is they really hurt a lot of people. You know the scholarly publishing system works on the honor system and people operate in good faith but oh mix international has has totally broken all that down. They use a lot of spamming to solicit article manuscripts from researchers they have journal titles that match the titles of respected journals. Usually one word off enough to confuse people that it might be the respected journal in the `field they will at People's names to their editorial boards without the person's permission people from top universities top researchers in the field and they'll use their identity to promote the journal and when the person finds out about it and ask them to remove their name. They don't remove it they just leave it there because they're operating operating from foreign country. There's really nothing you can do about it. And they especially prey on young researchers in emerging researchers researchers who don't speak English as their first language. It's not just dont. As from developing countries that a toggle though that even acknowledged problem clinical epidemiologist. David moas taste the Croats at reaching into some of America's most delayed institutions including Harvard in the analysis that we did where we looked at a close to two thousand thousand articles published in Predator journals. We found that actually the most frequent corresponding authors were from what we would call first world countries countries with lots of money and lots of resources that is troubling very troubling because it suggests that at these institutions authors may not Be Aware of predatory journals and are we need to obviously ramp up some educational activities. People think that they're sending the manuscript to a legitimate respected journal. When it's really just a phony dough mix international journal and then they quickly accept the paper without any peer review and then send them an invoice and that point the authors realized that something is wrong because There was really no peer reviewed done yet papers accepted and they have this two thousand dollars invoice that comes through email and the olmecs demanding payment. Most of them asked to withdraw the paper when they realized that they've been duped. But then omits says says you can't withdraw your paper unless you pay US withdrawal fee. An often than olmecs will publish the article quickly and one of their journals and then and they can't submit it anywhere else. Because that would be duplicate submission it would be publishing the same article twice. which is something not supposed to do that? Nothing about Predatory Street Journal devoted to pose to happening time as John Bohannon Govett when he hit them. Attest yes yeah so I just wanted some data. It's frustrating to have such an enticing story of you know bad actors that potentially raking in millions of ill-gotten dollars dollars and not get some data to find out if it's true. We stay in molecular biology from offered. Clave he plotted experiment which was pretty straightforward. And the idea in a nutshell is if I submit a really and I mean truly bad scientific paper to your journal final and you accept it with no sign of any peer review and you asked me for money then you're you're a fake journal Publisher Sharma sure. Yeah John Wanted to take to how easy it was to get published in a predatory journal it can usually take many months used even to get a pipe into a reputable contact general and even then it's not a given that partly because of what's called Peer Review essential to the conduct protest. You Do Fairmont you. You brought it up reporting your results. Submit it to a journal and then it pulled destroyed by a bunch of other daunting

#OkBoomer Vs. #OkMillennial: Workplace Nightmare, Or Just A Meme?
"You're that phrase boomer. It's a younger generations. Retort to ideas they consider outdated or off base. Ideas like millennials are entitled and don't work hard the response okay boomer short for baby-boomer well twenty five year old New Zealand lawmaker recently. Silenced older hecklers during her speech on climate change the average age. This fifty second parliaments is forty nine years old now. Some employers are cautioning against using this phrase at work fearing it could lead to claims of age discrimination. Here's NPR's Yuki Noguchi thirty year old social media manager. Sophie Vershbow has seen her share of okay boomer means in recent weeks to her. The sentiment behind them is this. I think it's sort of a dismissive. Like okay whatever you say like just spout whatever ever you wanna say as someone who doesn't get what we're talking about there's backlash to including from those comparing okay boomer to racial slurs last week the AARP REPEA- The group most identified with boomers weighed in. That did not go well. These warring posts and the social commentary around them suggest a yawning in gap between the old and young. They speak to different attitudes about social and political change and raise questions about how deep those differences go verse by works at a book. A publisher in New York. She likes working with boomers but says there can be issues. These younger generations keep feeling very misunderstood outside of family. The workplaces where generations rations interact. The most people are living and therefore working longer than ever so for the first time in. History the workforce now spans five generations from the silence generation in their seventies and eighties. Two generations e just entering their twenties work is also where many social issues play out presenting the potential for generational the bait over everything from gender neutral bathrooms to the metoo movement but Vershbow says discussing age at work even whereas professionally relevant can be tricky for example. She says she wants noted during a meeting how her age cohort shops differently. I was literally called. Just she felt silence. She says aware that she's not the one in in a position of power that still lies with her elders. I think these are really sensitive issues. That are super difficult to discuss in the workplace even when they're vital vital to the work. You're doing cashed. ECON is twenty two and sells advertising for the Houston Chronicle. She says she has a lot in common with the baby boomer. She worked with directly but outside of that circle. That's not always true. People say things like Oh you look good today like an older man. And that's that's such a weird thing to say she. She thinks okay boomer to herself when colleagues don't understand the concept of a fluid gender identity though say something like you know there are only two genders and and I mean I understand that. That's how they were raised but that kind of stuff just doesn't fly now. Megan Johnson is a consultant for companies on generational differences Johnson Johnson. Who is genetics? By the way says older workers need to figure out how to pass the baton unless the older generation really let's their ego down in a lousy the younger generation to come on board and challenge the way they do things. There's going to be this. Disconnect of course generational griping and stereotyping are nothing new. Remember when Gen xers were called slackers so not everyone agrees that okay boomer speaks to deep underlying tensions. I tell you I was a little surprised by Susan. Weinstock boomer herself and a vice president at AARP which advocates for people fifty and older because we have a lot of research that shows how much workers actually liked to work together no matter the generation so it might be that okay boomer is just another example of how social media soza sense of discord the way it has in politics in fact. Aarp unwittingly played a role in that last week another executive at the group was quoted saying okay millennials. But we're the people pull that actually have the money that to win viral under what else the Hashtag Okay boomer later. Aarp responded to the mid inspired saying social media took the statement out of context. The group said it meant to say don't overlook or dismiss boomers don't let stereotypes like that. Divide US

U.S. migrant care crisis
"So it may sound a little ironic or on to to be talking about how terrible the United States is treating these young children in custody this is a collective guilt that we have because it's being done in our name and this is a day of course where we're celebrating our freedom and our values so having just experienced and witnessed how the United States government under president trump the treating these young children on the border how you feeling on this fourth of July I'm not feeling very good one experience will not never escape my mind it's a shameful situation manifestly cruelty that I never imagined I would ever see I've been doing immigration law since the nineteen seventies I've been through a lot I've been to a detention centers family detention centers which I thought were the worst I've ever seen but when I saw it but children descent detention center where kids have been there for two to three weeks left to take care of themselves a two year old left to take care of herself I'm it up I'm still in shock to be honest with you well what was even more shocking and to my mind when I know not really most shocking but sort of compounding the horror and shame of what's going on on the border is when our representatives ask Congress people went down there to do their of the site into investigators they supposed to do and normally you know when it when a delegation of Congress is showing up whatever the government agency this being inspected you know it's Bruce is the place up but these people didn't seem to do that they treated a Casio Cortez quite rudely the border patrol and when she and constantly in Castro had a press conference outside these detention facilities local people down there in Texas I guess who are supporters of president trump heckle them when they were doing their press conference so this is really turning ugly isn't it it's not me I cannot believe the hecklers I cannot believe that they didn't even clean up the place that much for the members of Congress in fact they got to tour the facilities my inspection group did not we could interview any child we want to it was on a list of more more than three hundred fifty children in detention at that time but we couldn't walk around where they were able to walk around and they saw no running water that kind of thing but the that was shocking and you're right the fact that the hecklers and then I'm sure you're aware of that the border patrol Facebook page just marking the deaths of people I am again it's it's totally unbelievable and again I'm speaking with bill hang here to professor and director of the immigration and deportation defense clinic and the dean's circle scholar at the university of San Francisco he just returned from visiting an immigrant detention center in clean Texas now when you do you just mentioned the Facebook group of roughly nine thousand five hundred former border patrol and currently serving border patrol people who have been sharing the most outrageous comments referring to emigrants this scum buckets hose making fun of people emigrants being forced to drink at the toilets by the way Rush Limbaugh also made him as that racist remarks about that as well I just don't understand why people are piling on and just recently on the front pages of newspapers all around the world there was the most shocking and heartbreaking picture of a young Salvadoran father face down in the Rio Grande with he's dead two year old child with her arm around his father's neck and this is a heartbreaking picture and what happens in this these Facebook posts and by the border patrol people they call these people they these victims floaters I think it's funny well unfortunately that represent some of the border patrol officers that I've encountered over the years and of course we'd be overstating it to say that they're all like that they're certainly not all like that but but the fact that some of them feel license to engage in that kind of mockery is outrageous and they have to be held accountable yes they are law enforcement officials but they have to meet a certain standard of dignity and care and responsibility and those types of comments do not reflect the standards that the border patrol should

Trump calls Mueller report summary a 'complete and total exoneration'
"President Trump is wrong. This report does not amount to a so-called total. Exoneration special counsel Mueller was clear that his report quote does not exonerate close quote, the president his conclusions. Raise more questions than answer. It is unconscionable that President Trump would try to spin the special counsel counselors findings as if his conduct was remotely acceptable. Let me just tell you about this character. He's for thirty years. He's been trying to get at the President Trump any can't presents mocked him mercilessly mercilessly when he was a state Senator whether it was right or not. That's a fact and now report comes out they does exonerate him. In those words, and he wasn't want the president to do. It's unconscionable. But the president got an opportunity just get stuff done start knocking things off his list. This is a this is his second biggest day since he won the election. No one ever give him credit for it. Then we had one of these independent candidates demanding a recount, three states, president of gaining more votes than the electoral college, the delegates who ceremonially supposed to back up with the state. Does they started to be try to flip? And some of them didn't do what they were supposed to be doing. Then incomes the Russia investigation, and some people just keep on looking at for another reason not to not to look at one of the biggest upsets in political history in any country any time. Opens up another cut Twenty-eight buying into this dossier that now today we know not anything in that dossier led to has has proven to be correct. So this is this is a very important moment in the story. But it doesn't mean it's over because. Yes, the one storyline is done. But now the other storyline. We'd better get we'd better see a lot more about what was going on. They are going to keep continue to investigate now after the Robert Moore probe Eric who's on news ninety six five in Orlando hair. Brian. It's so sickening. The media for two years told us that Robert Mueller had the greatest integrity in DC. And now they're actually on MSNBC saying that oh to the Russians. Right. And did he did he sell out? I think what Trump should do is. Now, put them on the defensive. Have Adam Schiff declassify all of it. Let them see the Adam Schiff was leaking. Let them see what McCain did. And then Friday, five o'clock. So that they have to wait for the week, and he should say, I'm I'm asking Mr. bar to investigate what really happened 'cause Robert Mueller Alice h he's a witness and Rosenstein, he wrote the letter to fire each he's a witness. How the heck did he wind up having this whole thing? I'd like to hear your could on that. But I tell you what I love the I love the tactic of leaving them there for the final summary. Don't you Eric? So instead of saying, well, he jettisoned the guy who's going to wear a wire rod Rosenstein, and he said, no come here, you read with Robert Muller said, and I want you to Luke over my shoulder win and writing this summary, and you tell me ride am I doing anything that you don't trust Rosenstein was there for the letter to fire Komi Rosenstein was there for the meeting with McCabe after Komi was fired and launched the Robert Mueller investigation. He signed the FIS away. Aren't and he was there when he got exonerated. So I love for people just to looking for an opening and Robert Mueller. Oh, now robber mo-. He might have been compromised or they're doubting. Robert Muller, really, Robin Mullah who's good friends with Bill

"heckler" Discussed on No Agenda
"And the discourse started out as this is free speech versus women. And this was pretty upsetting to me. I was. Coming from a place where I believed in a free and open internet. I did not think that. By the way, her idea of free and open internet. It has nothing to do the way you or I might think of it as the internet is a network and you can run any type of application on top of it. No, she means free as in really free. Just give me everything for free and open, which means is long as Google runs it that that's thinking if you watch your whole hour, the proposed regulations coming out of these episodes were good. I didn't like the idea people that are. Even though I looked at the tweets, I, they were very upsetting to me and. Yes, she's upset by looking at the tweet oil. She's Roman. She's kind of rambling already. There's something she said this second ago that wiscon- semi contradictory just didn't make any sense to go on. We can stop a lot if you're looking for contemplated a lot. Yes, sure. Of course, of course, here I was as working with early on. The internet and society class. I was also at the journal long gender. I was very involved in feminist issues. And I felt like I was being told my position was inconsistent because it's free speech versus women pick one side. No one wants to be on the side that's home. I guess what you saying here is that with free speech and anybody can say anything turns out the way she experienced it, the internet, whatever she thinks that is is it was very hateful towards women that that's that's your nets neutral network as the internet is hateful. Flus. So the more I thought about it though, there's a thing in first amendment jurisprudence known as as the heckler's veto actually. And the heckler's veto is sort of problem where if you yell at someone enough. Causes. An issue where. Oh, okay. I guess it's now legal to shut down the speech because people are upsetting everyone way too much. It's like causing. It's fighting words now because it's causing people to fight against it or now that it's causing all of this violence to erupt. So she is a Harvard law student at graduate and very nervous, and she cannot explain heckler's veto for some reason. Yes, you had a comment is very nervous and she's, she sounds like she doesn't know what she's talking about. She's rambling. She is can't seem to focus. I didn't realize when I was reading some of her other tweets, the ones that are still available most been taken down. She makes these kind of poetic points if you look at her language as poetry, and now that I think about it, I was completely mistaken in that regard mentioned in the newsletter, but I was looking at some of these things because you're throw a weird word in and thin. Well, that's interesting. I guess, as some sort of a poetic, no wasn't. She's just, no, she's just exactly allow me to read the heck veto from Wikipedia in the free speech context, heckler's veto is either of two situations in which person who disagrees with speakers message..
