"Before the career diplomats who deal with Ukraine discovered a shadowy power structure around president trump that was determined a conversation with former secretary of Veterans Affairs David Schulkin it's Thursday Octobber twenty four by secretaries Ecuador Dr Secretary Secretary yeah okay so I wanNA start with the email that you sent me because I think it was it was interesting you describe yourself as somebody who was fired and essentially by a tweet from the president and the that came after a a an ordeal that you went through that involved political appointees essentially undermining you and you call the experienced strangely unusually relevant these with the issue of interference by outside political influences and you specifically mentioned what happened to Ambassador Maria Vich the US ambassador to Ukraine and you said we should perhaps talk about it on the daily so here you are well at the time of course this all seemed very unique to me but as I've now been out of the trump administration for almost eighteen months I have noticed a similarity in the behavior patterns. There's a lot of talk about how the State Department seems to be Sidelined in this administration senior State Department official in charge of you crane policy George Kent told House Committee lawmakers Tuesday he was sidelined from his job news that really Tiller told congressional investigators they were quote two channels for policy making on Ukraine quote one regular and one highly irregular investigators more about how Ivanovich ultimately came benched in this entire thing how she became sideline so I want to get to that and why you think would happen to you is similar but I want to start with your story your experience with the trump administration how is it that you came to be considered for a cabinet position by President trump well I was in the Obama Administration I was a presidential appointee I was the Under Secretary of Health for the Department of Veteran Affairs I had come from the private sector where I'd been running hospitals and if I was given the opportunity to help I didn't feel like I could say no so I spent eighteen months in the Obama administration and I was watching very closely about who the trump administration would choose for its leadership positions in the va but as a political appointee of the Obama Administration I was preparing to leave like everyone else had prepared my resignation letter for January twentieth and every day I would hear that there was a new person being spent he later on as the secretary of Va and as time went on we found ourselves into January just a few weeks right before the inauguration without any idea of WHO that Secretary would be Martha we begin with the Fox's alert we're awaiting the start of that news conference and with president-elect Donald Trump his first I happen to have heard that the president elect on January eleventh was going to be giving a press conference then there's always watching a teaser on the cable networks the reporter at the very end said the president-elect may be announcing the new secretary va give her much thought if I had time because I had a very busy day I'd like to watch that see who chooses and by the way speaking of Veterans I appoint today the head Secretary of the Veterans Administration David Schulkin and will do a news release in a little while about David he's fantastic and I watched the press briefing to find out that he announced me a secretary so you'll learn that you will be secretary of the va by watching the news and the breaking news on television is literally breaking news to you yes.

"Radio. and he's eight six six nine the red eye. he is Carlene I'm hearing back more I just wanna you know we we talked about this whole story after this break in you know from yesterday afternoon you know through last night that the inspector general of the state department has called a urgent meeting with members of different yeah it's a briefing it's working right he's going to it and it's a different members of different committees on right both the Senate and the house right now he said in now it stated as being urgent right yes now what would make it urgent inspector general's don't normally report to Congress no they'll go to Congress if their **** you know if they're asked you know we don't to. you know if the rest right you know to to because Congress still has oversight over those departments or if they're subpoenaed but normally. they do their investigation. and they put up the report enters criminal referrals they normally give it to the Attorney General right. so why would the inspector general make it an urgent case any must talk to them what has changed first off the story came out as we brought you on yesterday's show the inspector general the state department that story came out and contacted over a hundred and thirty people in the Obama administration and others. that had. communicated with Hillary Clinton. our private server yeah so the inspector general is looking into that now the reason is. many of those emails that were sent. is what we're told. from the stories that came out yesterday the reason I've been contacted is because after sending it a lot of these we don't post sending it they were quite they they were classified right they were deemed classified after they were sent. so in essence more laws were broken at that particular point everyone that is sent the laws broke. when it when it goes to a private server because you should have a private server in your home now that's yesterday the two may be completely and totally unrelated we're just bringing you the fact of. when was the last time you heard anything about the inspector general of the state department. celebrities out of the others the other point would be what would make this urgent. one thing that's happened in the last couple of days it would involve Congress error the Democrats putting a subpoena for Pompey to deliver documents. yeah the inspector general. could only be going to Congress. just days. I'm you'll be interfering in my investigation into this. right yeah so here's here's here's what's interesting CNN dot com they have a video story on this. but here's the here's the brief next to the video the state department's inspector general requested an urgent briefing was senior congressional staff members. after secretary state Mike Pompeii push back on house Democrats are democratic demands to turn over documents related to Ukraine and oppose current and former state officials. I don't know if the two are related the. well I don't they clearly I don't think he ever but why is CNN kind of one I mean they say after and it might not be related it might be just that they phrased it that way. well it may be nothing to do with him pushing back it may be completely unrelated to the V. palm pale pushing back it could be the inspector general. because if if the if the documents. that they want have nothing to do with an investigation of the inspector general. it's not his business. Palmdale fights that in court. yeah. they're trying to make it is if it's in a related that somehow there's a you know Pompey struck out and now the inspector as if the two were working together. well one may have nothing to do with the other one palm pales response may have nothing to do with the inspector general who is working on an investigation on his own outside of the secretary of of of state as they would that's how they would do it side with the inspector general works the Attorney General isn't over his shoulder he gives him a report at the end correct. all right so any any accounting problems or anything that with the inspector general that might not be law breaking and the you know then he he might report and give the report to the Attorney General and also give it to the head of you know the the the the state department head secretary of state. but. again it might have to do with the fact that the documents that they want once it was reviewed it was given to the inspector general who's doing an investigation whether it's Hillary or not but he would. his authority would be over Hillary Clinton who was a former secretary of state correct if there was wrongdoing. or hypothetically it could be something that he's investigating Pompeii in Pompeii doesn't know what hypothetically it could be that do okay from CNN dot com again you really have to take everything from the liberal idea I know not even with a grain of salt I mean it's just I don't know how much weight you can put into it but here's how they write at least one paragraph the inspector general said the reason for the briefing was the office had obtained documents from acting legal adviser in the state department. the briefing comes as the house committees investigating trump and Ukraine have delayed one of the one of those depositions planned for this week according to an aide but former US special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker will appear Thursday. could be just something well no because think about this why the I. G.. again you have to you have to keep in mind not the department is coming from but the actual office within that department it's coming from. unless I'm sick unless I'm not reading into a certain technicality here the proper way. why would it be upon the inspector general of the state department. brief them about documents. maybe that is within the role. of of the inspector general at state park could it be relating to to Mister Volcker then that's when we get her curves yeah because this test most coming up this Thursday right it is so and that's and that's exactly what I just read from that that article so so it could be ahead of that. that. appearance. by Volcker on Thursday the I. G.'s office wants to say Hey these are documents and and. you know the this is what this is the what the legal adviser is saying about Walker's appearance. right this is what you need to know right. there are number of things here that Walker cannot say and or should not say. because here's the thing well the suspicion is that's the one thing Democrats are holding on to that he resigned and so there must be something there well and and there's the other thing to. the inspector general at the state department no longer has access to walk because all workers no longer there that's right he doesn't. so it is quite possible that they anticipate something coming from vulgar. and the legal adviser from the state department once the I. G. to step in front of it again the I. G. being kind of that neutral position not political one way or the other within any given department going to Congress to say look Volcker might say this and you might say that but you need to know there are classified items here or sensitive items or whatever all right so that will that blows up my theory that is something to do with the I. G. going on his own because it's a legal adviser telling him is bringing up something saying you know you're the person to do this yes for whatever reason and I don't know what that would be. right. they again this is outrageous CNN dot com the inspector general said the reason for the briefing. was the office had obtained documents from the acting legal legal adviser in the state department. so if you pair that with the end of that paragraph you know again former US special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker will appear Thursday. then maybe the legal adviser need to get ahead of that and say look. Volcker's personal legal adviser which is going to have to have. they all have to have their own lawyers with them when they testify when they appear. is not part of the state department. and I don't think he would be. afforded any state department attorneys because he's no longer there. if he's if he were still an employee at the state department yes so he's got his own attorneys so the legal adviser from within the state department is sending the I. G. over to say look. there are things that he cannot talk about and we believe may be he's getting legal advice and there are items here that are still well within the state department's right to keep. classified. and not made public. it just depends on what they anticipate from Walker if that is the case if that's what they're trying to get her out ahead of. man what a puzzle designs. I'm sorry we're we're breaking down the story for all of our listeners are breaking down the story and if there's a little bit of a pause it's just as analyzing her head okay what's usually a good afternoon if the if the liberals believe all cruise going to be there guy he's going to be the one the bus all this open then the legal adviser saying wait a minute if he talks about this this and this those are all classified and protected the conversations. he can't do that. and he may not be able to do that even behind closed doors. because we're not talking about. eight a conversation between a special envoy and Ukraine we're talking about the president of the United States. and the president of Ukraine right those are very different levels. of classified. status. so I guess we'll see if the if it leaks if it if it does not favor the president. we'll know right after the breaching just real quickly here I just wanna read a couple of sentences of from a home in Jenkins all roads lead to Mahler from the Wall Street journal just a great piece that he wrote me a lot of what we have said but puts it in a you know Compaq couple of sentences right which is really great but he said AA he he says I consider their selection of Adam ship as the impeachment front man because of his role in promoting the Russia collusion canard. he was the biggest liar in Russia right and Russian collusion he had the biggest Whopper them all questions will have to be asked about the motives of the whistle blower a CIA official who dropped his highly polished bomb on the eve of the justice department inspector general's report that will begin opening the lid on F. B. I. N. C. I. actions during the twenty sixteen campaign at least by the public questions should also be asked about the mainstream media's. conspicuous reluctance to look at democratic and Obama administration behavior in the Russian collusion matter why it's almost like the press doesn't want the subject to be investigated for fear of what might be learned about the press this is most important thing though three years ago I had an epiphany watching George Stephanopoulos on ABC's talking about Mr trump behaving badly when the family of a slain soldier appeared at the democratic convention but he never quite to the dead soldier with a radical Islamic terrorist as one of the A. B. C. shows panelists said an old spoken decision seems to have been made that Mr trump has no reputation to injure he's an illegitimate president so the media is free to but words in his mouth and his on talking about the whole thing and really what he said everybody's always putting words in his mouth that a conversation like he had when we read it we said there's nothing there they're saying there's something there because they always finish his sentence form right he's a sentence finisher going back to a Seinfeld yeah but the other point he brings up is that everything here eventually goes back to the Democrats it all goes back to mother and it eight and it all goes back to bite Biden and Mahler they this is like a boomerang that the Democrats have done because it's going to come back and hit them again and Heller is included too yeah..

"Mall, W M A L. Washington comes to talk. Five hours of reality. Every week. Gary McNamara and Eric on Red Eye Radio. And he's Eric Harley. I'm Gary McNamara. Eight six six ninety redeye so the other thing is too when when asked I if you're a barista in your asked about, you know. Howard Schultz running. You're supposed to say, well, that's all up to him. Right. That's something that that he is doing, but they're worried now about people going in screaming at the baristas. This is how out of control the left is thinking about that. Who would ever think of? Okay. A former CEO is going to run right, right? Yeah. I mean did people fill up with gas and and start screaming when McCall it became? What's his name became the head secretary of state? Rex Tillerson, Rex Tillerson. Doug very much. Yeah. Run inside run inside I pay for their gas. I'm gonna pay for my gas. But I'm not going to like it. I chose to buy the gasoline year. But I'm not going to like it. No, I think this is the the really odd behavior you're going to go in an a barista is doing their job, by the way, you could say that a barista basically fulfills your your morning addiction. Your coffee dealer? They're doing a job every day. They have nothing to do with Scholz, by the way. This was the concern that I had when back when they have the the two men that were arrested and wouldn't leave the store in the manager had them arrested than they had to go through through what sensitivity training. Yes. I remember. And I said, well, no because you're branding. What you're doing is is your branding every one of your workers employees. I can't tell you what kind of person that that manager was or anything about that scenario other than what was reported. But when it comes to this blanket policy, you're basically making it look like every other employees must have that as a as a preset notion or be or type of behavior that they're insensitive. And so you brand them accordingly. I thought that was a horrible move by them as accompanying a horrible. Now, you have the left because this is what they have to respond to keep responding to the left, and you're going to keep getting more from the left. Frankly, this is why Schultz is no longer CEO. Because he couldn't win. He thought he was being the hero. And I'm convinced that was about well, I'm not gonna win. I'm it's only going to be a shaming from here on out, regardless of what we do. Which is exactly why you and I go back years to that whole. Let's talk racing. And and the time when they were talking about someone asked him if someone was allowed to carry a weapon and their store and everything else. And the only as a CEO of a coffee company. The only answer I would ever give is you know. Here's here's what we do. We sell coffee. We want you to come on in and drink our coffee. We can make.

"Those are numbers jump on board talking about yard on the Saturday before Christmas, and I'm gonna tell you. I wanted to start to show off today with a really cool story got a friend. Let me ask you this. First of all have you ever wondered about volunteering to help decorate the White House? Have you ever wonder what that'd be like, do you ever wonder what it would take to become a volunteer to help? Decorate the White House. Well, I've got a friend of mine who had the opportunity to do that this past holiday decorating season. And the story how she got to be. There is a great story. And so we've got her on with us this morning to tell the whole story. Her name is Vicki Wynn strips. She's the owner of a Melia flourished and gift shop somewhere factor you ever want to go to their website. It's Amelia floors and gifts dot com. It's the right outside of Cincinnati to the east. She'd been doing this since she was five I think she'd been in business for about forty one years, but a great story here. Good morning. Vicki hi, Ron good to have you on our show. First of all congratulate congratulations for getting chosen to do this. But I I the big thing here is the story of how you got chosen to be volunteer because you didn't know anything about it. Yes. It was a huge surprise. My husband, Bruce. Started in January, and he wrote letters to MRs Trump her head secretary, and then they had floral designer of the White House. And then he went around the community and to our good clients and ask them to write letters on my behalf as well. And he compiled three binders little portfolio binders, and he mailed them out to the White House and received an Email back saying that they had received the information, and that we would here, and it's token to October the sixteenth when he finally got the reply that I had been accepted to come on up and help decorate. And then he surprised me but the surprise on October twenty seven. Wow. So he had to wait and all the people that wrote to recommend you all kept it a secret and had to wait until October before they found out. Correct. Unbelievable. Now, let me ask you this. So you obviously have been had been suggesting to your husband that you. This was something you had wanted to do we. HDTV errors the holiday decorating of the White House Christmas special every year, we watch it every year together. And I've just always said to him that would be so cool. To be selected to go up there and help do that. And see how it all works and goes together and just to be a part of it. And so he took it from there. Got you in what a great gift? I guess my question to him. Now is what what what could he do to top that one? I don't know. What can I do to back to him? Just doing what you did was a great gift to him. And to all of us that going volunteer your time to do that. But that's you know, I was talking to Gary solving this morning and tell him about the story he commented the fact that you know, you got that one. And I think your husband's got that one. And you just can't ever Dopp that one gifted boy, he he's certainly at that went on the head. So he got you in. So you actually went there, and you stayed during the time that you were decorating. Yes, we stayed in a hotel just Q blocks down from the White House where they had rooms reserved for us all the volunteers to stay there together. So you and so you all went and he went on. And that was thanksgiving morning, right? We yes, Bruce, I left here we flew up on thanksgiving morning. We laughed at six AM and we had an early flight. So we had all day thanksgiving to spend up there. And in fact, I had always wanted to go to the National Cathedral up there, and they had a ten o'clock thanksgiving service. So we were able to go there and see the National Cathedral and low and behold the next week. That's where President Bush's funeral without. So that was pretty cool to. Oh, yeah. Near the week before. Yeah. I happen to watch that what a cool cathedral to watch us. So that was pretty neat. You got to see that. So so the next morning, then you you all get on a bus, and they take you to the White House. Had you been in the White House before when I was twelve years old seventh grade girl scout troop took us up there. And that was the only time I've been inside the White House. So now you've got security clearance. You actually go through your in the White House. I'm not sure I'd still be standing. I mean, what what I mean to get the goosebumps and everything I mean, that's got to be back when we got the bus pulled up on Pennsylvania Avenue and the doors open, and you know, we walk through the gates walk through the security, the first check point there, and you're walking down the driveway. And you realize you're going into the White House. It's. You know, you're trembling. It's it's pretty it's an awesome experience. Just knowing you're going to be in there all day long and. For three days. It was awesome. I can't even imagine I'm serious. I think I would my head would just be spinning around. Like, I was the accident or something. Knowing that I was in there, and knowing that, you know, this the White House who lives there and all the all the past presidents and all the debt. All been there. It's just had to be an exciting exciting time for you. So so what are they do? They take in a group of you. And then did you have pre instructions on what you're gonna do? Or do you find out once you get there? We were all assembled once we walked in. We went into the movie theater room there and d head designer who helped organize all of this was the first lady gave us kind of an over scope gave us the rules. You know, posting on social media. No cameras. No pictures taken no cell phones out on the floor. And then we were divided into groups. And then we met our team leaders who had been extracted, you know, what we were going to be working on. So then we found out what we were actually going to be working on for the next three days. And you were you were involved with the group that did all of the really cool red trees, the red berry trees. And I I again, I think that was out when I first saw the picture, I thought it was absolutely outstanding. We'll talk more about that a little bit later on your so for three days you and your team are these long days till midnight. Or we were there from six AM until four they fed us lunch and breakfast there and the state dining room all three days, which was fabulous. And they took very good care of it. So it was a lot of work. But it was a lot of fun. So we all had a job to do. And you know, we never had to get it done. And we were able to meet a lot of really nice, you know, people from all over the country all other volunteers and workers that came and got the meet the staff and. I met a staff worker who I share an interest. I said, you know, I'm a floor Santa fire shot back home. I would love to see the flower shop, and he said you would. And I said, yeah, I what he says. Well, let's go show you right now. I said really he said, yeah. So he took me down to the basement. And I got to meet the floral designers and see the layout of the flower shop person that was amazing. Oh, good for you. You know, there's a book, and I don't know if you've seen this book flora diplomacy at the White House, Laura dot, okay. Laura Dowling was the chief floral designer there from two thousand nine hundred fifteen and she she was mostly during the Obama administration, and we had her on the show. And and again, it was the same. They she told me stories, and you know to get chosen to do this. She, and I told the book is outstanding as we're fact, I'll get one for you. But it's a great book, and it talks about all the responsibilities and Scott pictures of the forest in there and things like that. But that that book after I read that I the responsibility of that person is phenomenal. Because you're doing that. Also. I mean, you you you you own a florist, you know, what it's like doing arrangements every day for whatever. But she's do. You know for all the Denver's in the dignitaries and all the people that were coming in and for the president, and whatever it may be. I just I told her I gave me nightmares after I read that. Because I don't know how she did it, but she did it for nine years, but it's a cool book, and I'll get your copy that because you'll relate to what you talked about our guest this morning as Vicki Wynn strip. "Those are numbers jump on board talking about yard on the Saturday before Christmas. And I'm gonna tell you. I wanted to start to show off today with a really cool story got a friend. Let me ask you this. First of all have you ever wondered about volunteering to help decorate the White House? Have you ever wondered what that'd be like, do you ever wonder what it would take to become a volunteer to help? Decorate the White House. Well, I've got a friend of mine who had the opportunity to do that this past holiday decorating season. And the story how she got to be. There is a great story. And so we've got her on with us this morning to tell the whole story. Her name is Vicki Wynn strips. She's the owner of a Melia flourished and gift shop Samarra factor. You ever want to go to their website? It's Amelia force and gifts dot com. It's the right outside of Cincinnati to the east she'd been doing this since she was five I think she'd been in business for about forty one years, but a great story here. Good morning. Vicky. Hi, ron. Good to have you on our show. And he compiled three binders little portfolio binders, and he mailed them out to the White House and received an Email back saying that they had received the information, and that we would here and it token to October the sixteenth when he finally got the reply that I had been accepted to come on up and help decorate. Oh, HDTV errors the holiday decorating on the White House Christmas special every year, we watch it every year together. And I've just always said to him that would be so cool. To be selected to go up there and help do that. And see how it all works and goes together and just to be a part of it. And so he took it from there. Got you in what a great gift? I guess my question to him. Now is what what could he do to top that one? I don't know. What can I do to back to him? Just doing what you did was a great gift to him and to all of us to go, and volunteer your time to do that. But that's a you know, I was talking to Gary solving this morning and tell him about the story. He commented the fact that you know, you you got that one. And I think your husband's got that one. And you just can't ever Dopp that one gifted boy, he certainly hit on the head. So he got you in. So you actually went there, and you stayed during the time that you were decorating. Yes, we stayed in a hotel just a few blocks from the White House where they had rooms reserved for us all the volunteers to stay there together. So you so you all went and he went on. And that was thanksgiving morning, right? We yes, Bruce, I left here we flew up on thanksgiving morning. We left at six AM and we had an early flight. So we had all day thanksgiving to spend up there. And in fact, I had always wanted to go to the National Cathedral up there, and they had a ten o'clock thanksgiving service. So we were able to go there and see the National Cathedral and lo and behold the next week. That's where President Bush's funeral was out. So that was pretty cool too. Oh, yeah. Near the week before. Yeah. Why do I happen to watch that what a cool a cathedral to watch us? So that was pretty neat. You got to see that. So so the next morning, then you you all get on a bus, and they take you to the White House had you've been in the White House before when I was twelve years old seventh grade girl scout troop took us up there. And that was the only time I've been inside the White House. So now you've got security clearance. You actually go through your in the White House. I'm not sure I'd still be standing. I mean, what what I mean, you get the goosebumps and everything I mean, that's got to be back when we got the bus pulled up on Pennsylvania Avenue and the doors open, and you know, we walk through the gates walk through the security, the first checkpoint there and you're walking down the driveway. And you realize you're going into those White House. It's. You know, you're trembling. It's it's pretty it's an awesome experience. Just knowing you're gonna be in there all day long and. For three days. It was awesome. I can't even imagine I'm serious. I think I would my head would just be spending around like I was at the access or something to knowing that I was in there, and knowing that, you know, this the White House and who lives there, and all the all the past presidents and all the data on all been there. It's just it's head to be an exciting exciting time for you. So so what do they do? They take in a group of you in the did you have pre instructions or what you're gonna do or do you find out what you get there? We were all at once we walked in. We went into the. "My head secretary this for a second hang on just thirteen away bigger BB. Boop. Boop. Boop. Boop. Okay. All right. So here's oh, I know what's going on. Hey. Boop. Boop. Boop. You know, what it is? I've got the noise cancelling feature on my headset. And it's driving me crazy. There. There we go. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Cancel the noise. Cancelling. Yes. It was as if I was like I had a really bad cold your ears are plugged up. Oh, yeah. It sounds like you're in. You're inside a seashell, right? Inside myself. Really weird. Okay. So there's a back story to this. So Ronald Patillo is the guy's name. He's the acting ice guy. So he's the acting director of US, immigration and customs enforcement, Ronald Patel. Hello is. Well, he's he would be a suppo- listener. I wouldn't even be surprised if he's listening to this morning show before. But he's the kind of guy that listens to us. And then he would listen to rush. And then he would listen to savage, and he listens to Levin. He listened to all these guys for all of us. So there was a time back in two thousand fifteen when LeVine. Was saying. The in the way that Levin does give me different names for the democrat party. I what different types of the democrat party. It was it was Levine's foray into a little humor on his show. And there's not a lot of humor on his show. He's very serious guy. So he's asking people to call in with new names for the democrat party. So Ronald the Telo tweets out, some new names for the democrat party. One of those was something like the liberalist an party or something like that something with liberal in it and the other the Neo co the democrat Neo clan party. Neoclassical Neo clan. Now, what does that refer to well one? It was attempted to be done in a humorous vein right Neo clan. But also, the idea is the democrat party did have as their paramilitary arm back in the day, the KKK. That's that's what I just told. You is irrefutable. And that terminology was brought forward by a caller during our fire five o'clock hour. It was Dave from Woodside. He said the KKK was the paramilitary arm of the democrat party back in the day. And they and they were that again irrefutable. The Democrats have done a masterful job of racing that part of history and rewriting that part of history. But what I just told you was the truth all of the KKK members of the Ku Klux Klan members. They were all Democrats. They were all racist Democrats. So that was his idea of the humorous tweet that had a lot of truth behind it in two thousand fifteen so Campbell Harris knows about this. This kennel Harris is our Senator she's on the Senate homeland security committee and now she's questioning. Vitelle? Oh, and basically she does not want him to become the ice director. So she's trying to get back at him for these tweets in this really weird stupid way. So during the course of her questioning she tries to acquaint ice with the KKK. Okay. Stay with me here. This is just outrageous. So she actually says, and you're going to hear it are you aware that there's a perception that ice is administering its power in a way that is causing fear and intimidation. She's trying she's trying to acquaint ice with a K K K. And then she asks him this stupid trick question. Why were the actions of the KKK wrong? Okay. Needs an answer. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. She's trying to get him. She's trying to get him to put words in his own mouth. So somehow she can twisted around to prove that uh. See what you guys are doing is just like the KKK. It's the camel a pretzel. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. So take a listen to this two hands on the wheel. Here we go. Well, the clan was what we would call today a domestic terrorist group. Why? Why why would we call them domestic terrorist group because they tried to use fear and forced to change political environment? And what was the motivation for the use of force based on race and ethnicity, right? Are you aware of the perception of many about how the the power and the discretion? At is is being used to enforce the laws, and do you see any parallels? I do not see any parallels between I'm talking about agents. I'm talking about perception, I do not see a parallel between what is constitutionally mandated as as it relates to enforcing the law. Are you aware that there's perceptions he know are you aware that there's a price in the same category? As the KKK is that what you're asking me. No, I'm very specific about what I'm asking. Are you aware of a perception that the way that the discretion? I see I'm not I'm not finished nothing. Are you aware that there's a perception that that ISIS administering its power in a way that is causing fear? And intimidation. Particularly among immigrants and specifically among immigrants coming from Mexico and Central America. Are you aware of that perception, I do not see a parallel between the power and the authority that is has to do its job and agents and officers you do it professionally excellently with lots of compassion, sir. How can you be the head of an agency and be unaware of how your agency is perceived by certain community. There's a lot of perceptions in the media in the public. That are incorrect about the perception exists. Would you agree? Whether or not it's a correct. And wouldn't you agree? Then that if that perception exists. There might need to be some work done to correct. The perception. These are. I I keep track of what this woman. Here's here's her line of questioning it always includes this. She says that's not what I'm asking. That's whatever go To's. Another one is I'm not finished. So if you if you dare interrupt her or if you dare have a comeback that is really good. She'll say I'm not finished. And then she'll also say just answer. My question. And then she'll also say it's a gift to no question. She's got all these Goto that she's probably been using for years and years, and I'm just telling you something this woman, her unfavorability ratings are going to be just going through the roof in no time flat. She's going to be two years in and she's going to be one of the most unpopular senators ever at go..
