"How are you finding new music. So i would find new music either for mortem out Or from folks that have different tastes in music and at that point you might be like. Why would they listen to this because everyone listen to different music now. People enjoy youtube artis at this point as well so trying to pitch it and see if they'd like it eventually i've i've had i've been in situations. People like know this. This artist extremely all now he just blasted off and whatnot. You know i remember listening to a live your rico who is now doing extremely well with their musical career before that before i think when to in high school musical series before i album or even further down for that she she would release a diverse songs. That you sing on What was that platform. She released a couple of songs on on on her instagram account. Any social media platforms and people. Just use to listen that continuously or the song that you lisa disney needs to be like i mean i didn't i didn't issued Expect her to make a huge success. Out of state but yeah. When driver's license came out it just it just raged at the top of the moment. This was just a first single. And i was and i did see why people are liking it because it was a different sound no one thought off and she started being interpreted as a younger original taylor swift so then that becomes a huge deal at that point. You know that okay. You're she's being viewed in this scenario. You know tales of choose one of a kind but if you A few not but on her well her her first debut album which is still topping the charts which is called sour. If there's a song called good for you and if there's a song that the type of sound that's not song. It's very similar to one of the songs that Paramour of these. I don't it was from the album I don't know which what was the name of the song but the it's if it was misery business. That's what it was. It was a two thousand seven seattle. Some right and it is that rock be in where she saying. You know good for you. Continuously and it's like there's also pops national The exact same thing. Hayley williams did when she was recording riot. Two thousand of so lot of the times artists will find song if they like. Try to recruit their gorse it. Different star Yeah so that is something that it's of you know a a reprisal for song but not because i even see this in my own In in the in mind music like this. Hollywood bollywood in the types of music. Did you there david. Having lots of remixes they'll take the old songs remixed. That only problem with that is if they've overdone where people have been successful be mixes but at one point people you know they get over that okay. You've done so many how many Just reprising or like. Make like a cool be in more relevant. I mean it's great in all. But i feel like there should be a balance between both Tend to go to lean to one direction versus the other. Yeah absolutely so what What are you excited about. What are you looking for to hearing next..

That helped shape your identity as musicians. I think a big one for our advantage hayley williams Cheers i personally ice on. I know we watch on on my mom's like literally ten years old. We can basement. You know you still have like. We were the generation like dying like computer in the basement where flowers and then waiting teenagers that had the knife on game and all that but we still kind of had that. If you're having you have to watch it's like literally one of the coolest. It's as a woman in music anyone really but it just. It's home in different like what she had to go through and how she added paved the way constantly having people underestimating her and and going through so much to get to where she is today. You know so. Much is like a decent link through like a battery at her when she's on stage Pretty bad because women are supposed to do that. Like get off say age. You're supposed to all this stuff right. Like i just think god that we were born in this generation where we're Express who we are. You'll so grateful to women her like that. He really hard work. I want to do is play guitar. Being banned and it was so unacceptable beer bottles thrown at her and she stayed like that love for music so deep Buck buck all this. Like i'm gonna. I'm gonna keep my head down and keep doing it and thinks she's another one. When heated their games. There went who lost mistakes like so much is onto that. Like i don't think you know had teamed cert- existent day. There were obviously very different. I think they would have been much more accepted. I think they were really you know kind of a fast and and kept down when they were making that kind of music in my mom was like their late late early. Two thousands. yeah About i don't think any. I don't think it hadn't been for sarah. Artists like uh did not exist. Girl in redwood non exists. why claro just like healy. So product is awesome. She's amazed he's amazing. Yeah i'm looking at my latest. Has alicia keys billy paul. Bg's john lennon an gmt. So always got my latest one of those this. I've been listening to the eski lewis record that just came out. I cannot stop listening to makes me want to get out into the bars and clubs dreaming of that day as loose. And then i've been listening to the new hayley williams solo stuff. He just put out like another half of her solo record and just beautiful really really beautiful so to. I've been listening to the most the white fan noise on spotify. I've been listening to the neighborhood. Paramore golf babe kind of just been going super dislike indie band kind of vibe which is funny because i actually used to really only listen rb and hip hop so people change pager. You want to take the helm. Sure i've been listening to lately. Ryan actually turned me onto this I'm probably going to butcher the name. Sorry his name is romi asano. And he's a japanese artists from like back in the seventies and his album called phil phil harmony I think i remember anyway. He makes like amazing. Like funky like almost jazzy. latronic music. and it's and he's an apparently. I've been doing a little research. And he's inspired like a lot of Big genres over in japan Especially in like the pop around with music. I just love hearing really familiar. Sounds through a completely different lens like you. It's recognizable and yet totally new So i recommend checking out actually probably been listening to jazz more than anything. I just put jazz on my house like constantly. Oh yeah nice ryan. What's on your playlist. it's funny you say that. I have the new japanese breakfast single on my On rotation i think just dropped friday and it's called be sweet out on dead oceans. I'm pretty into it. Floats been flowing really nicely with the ace's playlist had on for the last week and the song the song was it's a lot brighter than what she's done and i think it's off her third album coming out and it's was written with jack tatum of wild. Nothing who. I like a lot as well so excited for that. Getting hyped on japanese breakfast. I confused between japanese house in japanese breakfast. Japanese bands go and also very similar. Like they're both like the same by japanese house really. Well 'cause my girlfriend's obsessed in europe. Yes but i don't know japanese breakfast. He's like i need to like well. I guess i'll bring up the rear again. So i've been listening to the new chris stapleton record starting over. I really love the stuff he's doing. It's pretty nostalgic. Like almost everything. I've been listening to kind of calling back to a time before bro. Country kind of getting back to roots bit but also he. He injects a lot of like hard rock into his into his music. Love him so if you're a fan of tennessee whiskey head on over to his latest record and on top of that. I've been listening to. I guess it's not the most recent maggie roger single but like the one before the one she did with Phoebe bridges love you for a long time completely. Different vibe Very sweet very poppy. Lots of feelings in their of being just totally in madly in love Yeah you know trying to trying to get those vibes and quarantine. even though i'm stuck between the same for walls. "It seems like hey dr. I'm filling out of sorts. Can you like maybe change all of reality in time and he goes. I'm gonna do it. Don't do it. Shines amman might as well as the the baby so i think that's a valid criticism. I also i also hate multi-diverse stuff. But i do like hello peter. That's a little early. Which is awesome. Hit me is that. He's not actually saying hello to tom. Holland no yeah. He's probably saying it to a different one. He say hello to tobey. Maguire interesting okay. Because he's been buried he. They're literally over the hudson which is where he died in the moving eric. Who is the most pedantic film watcher. I've ever met in my fuck in life. We fight once frank about the fact that he thinks that the king kong movie doesn't work because king kong would smell and and he's i saw his brain stuck on it he goes he goes yes just like they would notice that he was that he was there. Because he smells like eric. He's a giant ape. You would make noise like the nothing about it. Makes sense man. He's like he would sm. You could smell them. Suspension of disbelief. My man. now he's not with it. So i i'm kind of a. I'm with eric on the thing that he was like. Yeah this doesn't work because doctor octopus was dead. And i was like you know it's multi-diverse so he could be like the doctor octopus. That's like doing only fans on some other planet. But like it's like it does like splicing it's going to be. I mean they're gonna do some gymnastics to make it all work because also the electro is going to be the same version of the electro. But they're both going to be played by jamie. Foxx may look different. Yup yup yup and six. What's the six ministers six. Yeah but then. There's they've shown five and there's a sex well they're going to this. This whole movie is going to set that up because this is basically cleanly enabling them to do sony spider verse where they can do all the sony movies separate but have it like. Here's the origin point. Because there's no marvel marvel studios deal with sony for spiderman collaboration after this movie so the one thing that i did notice i thought of you guys. When i saw the 'cause i watched like every break alec. Here's seventeen minutes two minutes when they're sitting when thanks. Yeah when they're up on the roof like sitting there whatever if you look. The graffiti says deco steve. That cute little. It's not nice not like liking. Appreciate it good. Quick hit i. I am going to go see that movie in the theater. So i definitely would i definitely would at the very least. It'll be a good popcorn movie so you got a quick at. Yeah it's it's a very adjacent to me. Perhaps not even jason. But i understand adjacent to many of our listeners which is a livia rodrigo just had to add a songwriting credits to hayley williams and the josh farro ex guitarist because they wrote misery business and olivia rodrigo has a song out that it's not getting clowns and it seems like people really enjoy it for this reason but apparently it's just a complete interpretation of a good for you and it's very like oh. This sounds familiar. It's like okay. So here's what's interesting about. Olivia rodrigue. Oh and i don't. I'm like to spent as a man to care about this..

"And i can imagine if that idea sort of looms over one and i don't know if how digestible it is for like a man in their twenties. Yeah like they're not thinking about that yet. April will you have making absolutely you wrote to us that you also run. A restaurant is at your place. It's a rental. Like it's a franchise. So is mine. But like i don't technically like own it but trying to fight it got well you know. Twenty seven years old. And you have a franchise for restaurant and you're running that and that's a lot of responsibility. That's a lot of customer. Care independence perseverance. And then going through what you've been going through with your health and yet your voice you are not just getting through this year thriving. You're the kind of person that whatever we're going to throw at you you're going to manage it. And that's a beautiful trait eight-year. You're welcome that said on his right like the guys that are in their twenties you know. They're not super trustworthy with a lot of things. Yeah i mean before we get to the. How do we tell a guy about the health challenges and you drop what you think is a bomb of. I can't have my own children. We also i need to talk about. Who's the guy that's got his act together enough to be with somebody who is very strong independent entrepreneurial. Let's start there. Yeah because there's a certain fiber of someone that runs through them in a character when they're able to start a business and you had written to us that you've been through like looting and tornado fires in the city right. You've had to go through a lot and yet you've got this gorgeous smile on your face in this beautiful lift in your voice in so start there right. You're not wrong to look at older guys. But we don't want you to go out with somebody. That's so much older just so that he would understand. Yeah because then you're gonna miss out on some things correct true very true and then there might not be that compatibility. Yeah leave me. There are forty year old men. That wouldn't understand. So it's not about age and i actually wrote t is when i had just gone through kind of a break out. I thought it was a break up. At least i had been seen a guy for about six months like sleeping over at my place. Heaping over at place. Like you would walk my dog for me on sunday morning given offie and like that kind of thing like we were pretty serious and then six months into it he kind of to stop talking me though. Sydney and i was very surprised by like we had gone from talking like everyday. Save the labor six months sleeping at each other's places. His mom made me like mum and bars. One time like. I'm here girlfriend right. Like a us. Like white victory doing a chance guys like i'm only experienced relationship with somebody. Meghan deduct ghost you after you telling him about what you've been going through. No i told him like right away. Second date we were penetrated hot and heavy. And i did end up telling him like especially because like some of the sleepless somebody going to let them know. I have chronic pain so it just seems like they're responsible thing to do if i'm suddenly in pain at some white and like it's been bad enough like passed out before so like if i just hit the floor atas house like i want him to know but i told him like second day in his like okay and then we dislike..

I am so thrilled to have her well. Megan let's divan. Will you tell april. And what's going on. Yeah so. I'm twenty seven. I lived in chicago. And i work as a shafts and when i was nineteen i was diagnosed with engine out service which you super common but i know a lot of women. Don't only talk about it. But by the time. I was twenty four i had already had five surgeries in. I actually had full hysterectomy as the last surgery. I had my uterus taken out I just left with my left. Ovary like no flow into no service like everything is got. And then i have really bad damage They think they might have even found some in my retinas. The other day like really wide spread endo everywhere. So it's definitely a chronic illness. It causes severe chronic pain. I have fibromyalgia because of that. So definitely not a fun disease to live with. Oh i am so sorry. Megan yeah you know what. It's kind of those things where i could be like super pissed at every single day and i do on sundays but most dangerous just like it is what it is and one in ten women avid. So it's like incredibly comet so and that's the big thing like no one talks about it at this point i'm healthy. I'm happy like green department. Great job loved my life. But whenever i go to try to date a guy i'm right. When do i bring that up lender. I bring up that i'm can't have children and i might adopt one day on like faster one day like i'm under no biological time clock like have children right away so it's kind of an interesting thing if i'm dating a guy my age third usually trying to decide like what netflix. "That sounds like a character in a movie that i would love to watch denote. I mean like almo- or someone who is like has these romantic longings and pleasures that you seek out and make for yourself. I love that it left me vulnerable in relationships so re. Oh yeah yeah that quality was like here you go. I hurt just hearing that. Because i feel like some part of me gets that longing has been a very interesting word. This is very random. What i'm about to say an. I don't feel like someone who tells the story lot simply because it involves a singer that i grew up loving and i always feel namedrop but one of my therapists at a certain point over the last four years after my divorce sent me to amy. Grant's house he was just like you need to meet amy grant and i was like okay. Love her record. She already seems in djelic the best so i imagine you walking into like a house of light the best person and the most cozy beautiful household and she's married event skill which is like there was this. I mean they probably mortified me talking about it like he came home from the guitar store. It was just very like of course. This is happening. Went numb here. At amy grant house but she talked to me so much about just a terrible divorce she went through and falling in love with vents. And like having all you know like an aching longing that she feels like makes her not only love her husband but like her husband and i just remember thinking like oh the word longing it resonates in me so heavily and i don't even always know what it relates to i just as a kid. I was longing as a teenager. I was longing and even when you know the ban was like on top of the world and we're doing things for the first time that were so crazy. There was always a part of me and it got me into trouble a lot. Which is why. I say like when you say it was hard for your relationships. I relate to that getting manda trouble to that like longing feeling can you identify with the longing was four. Why i think i could guess ally. I feel like most of my deepest wounds or deepest things that really got set in to my foundations or just because of my parents growing up and they divorced. I was like a very dreamy. Romantic kid and i was like. Why is this happening every time we went to the mall. I would throw pennies in the wishing well and just be like. Please get back together. I was like. I just was longing for some version of my life that i thought i would never get and then i became a teenager. My parents became friends again and they never dated again at that point. I didn't really long for that. But i was always longing for what i didn't have an. I do think that that got set in with my parents divorce and then it sort of became applied to other things throughout my life. It was just a groove that was worn so deep it was comfortable. That was a comfortable feeling for me. That made me think about. If you are like me in the sense that i was never comfortable with the idea of a man taking care of me in any way. Yeah i think that that idea..

"There's some sort of connection to friends or family or maybe people. We grew up playing music with and it's really i. It's so endearing. And i'm really glad that hasn't gone away. I love that haley. Were you raised to be religious like did you attend church and youth groups. Well yeah like nashville. Is the bible belt right. And i had come from mississippi which was even more deeply ingrained in southern baptist traditions. And then i moved here and it was all about like nondenominational churches. And you're really kind of like you don't really have a choice as a kid. I mean obviously your with your parents. You're doing what they do. But even as you get a little older in youth group becomes a thing and for me. It was always social. It was like this is where my friends are. This is where like a cute guy. And i'm trying to see him or whatever. Was there a lot of like in terms of being a woman to be really honest with you. I feel like my memories of being in the church is a teenager especially like a prepubescent teenager and then becoming like a young lady in the church. I almost feel like women weren't spoken to as people who have primal desires or whether it's sexuality or whether it's just like raw emotions rage any of that stuff. Because i don't know if it was more religion talking or just southern tradition but like there's a type of person that i think is projected onto a young woman in the south right especially a young white woman in the south. There's just this like social component. That has to be all the boxes up to be checked off and i never felt like i fit that but now when i think back i really feel like guys had it worse because i can just remember sitting at youth group and it being like so much. Shame onto young boys about their sexuality and what they did with it you know. And that's not even touching the topic of whether or not you identify one way or another or who you're attracted to. It was just like if you have that feeling it's wrong. Yeah but i didn't escape that either. You didn't know my parents were virgins when they got married and they wanted that for me. And i think it's because my dad was the intellectual side. My mom grew up quite poor. And i think there was a lot of like i was witness to a lot of pretty awful stuff so she passed that on to me like in good ways and bad ways. I think like ways that i really struggled with but in ways that i think have permeated other parts of my life in terms of my sense of self worth. Maybe by pride late. Yeah yeah so. We went from nashville. Oh yeah we've jumped all over the place. But i really like how you described it. Oh yeah. I grew up in seattle in the nineties and it was still a place of economic depression. There is a lot timber jobs. A lot of like boeing jobs. That have moved away. It wasn't until like microsoft. And whatever came along hence grunge. And i think that i could generalize..

"I think that i can understand that with age and some experience like there's a liberation that happens where now i almost feel like the more vulnerable. Am the more. I'm protected which might be backwards in actuality but it's helped me yes so with you. The podcast has actually given that to me. Oh that's so interesting. I mean you've been really vulnerable to. And i could see how you claiming your own space to talk about. Whether it's your own personal experiences are getting into other people's like you set up the boundaries around it and so i could see that feeling really liberating and really safe and i really take pride in that. I think that we have a reputation of protecting celebrities. Yeah that's hugely important to me like way over success like i want this to be a place where people feel safe. Yeah so i want to ask you about highschool ouchi So it was like a plus experience. I mean you know what is so weird is that i. My mom is like on this home video. Kick lately where. She's digitizing a lot of our memories. And oh god haley. It's traumatizing man. Yes of course is she. Keeps sending them to me. And i'm like i can't yes. I'm just like delete. Delete delete but i like honestly what struck me. The craziest was like i seemed really chaotic. And happy on a camera you know. I don't know if it's because the camera was around. Or what because my actual memories of growing up in mississippi it's not like they're all doom and gloom but have a lot of really sad or troublesome kind of memories of broken home stuff and bad toxic household with my mom's second husband and for me so much of my life started when we got to nashville but my last year in meridian mississippi was my best. I think and i. I feel like it's because mom and i started to run away and like we were living in friends homes kind of like hiding out before we took off and there was like an adventure to it that i was so desperate for and i played basketball..

"That's a snippet from new jersey based recording artists. W dunphy that's a track called ocean floor and his new album charm offensive. Dwi has been producing music since two thousand to a look at his discography shows that he's recorded twelve albums by my count as well as ap's and singles his entire catalogue including charm. Offensive is newest. Album is available at the online record store band camp now i've known. Dwi since two thousand able. We both started writing for the music and pop cultural site. Pop does where for a time. He was the editor in chief but currently he writes for ultimate classic rock music tap and looper in this episode. D-w w doesn't have to do a lick of writing at all because he's guest on the roofs in bekker's podcast how dwi and welcome. Hello and boy are my fingers tired. Did i get that right twelve albums since two thousand to kind of i actually started back in ninety five but those were only cassette only things. And it's kind of hilarious when you think about how technology has come to the point where it is now where major label. Artists are recording on laptops. And you are absolutely prolific. That's one thing i looked. It was looking at your catalog like you. who sleep. no you do not before we get to your music. I wanna talk a bit about an article you wrote for music. Tap which is called there are no bans anymore. Question mark apprentices in which took aim at some comments maroon five bandleader. adam levine made with new zealand. Dj and tv host zane lowe. You do somewhat agree with levin right. Unfortunately yeah i do. It's funny because when that went up. I think that i had the most feedback for an article for years. Now i know the feeling you write something you put your heart and soul into it and then you get like very little if any feedback and it's like wow anyone in here. This is sort of a side comment and we'll get back to the main topic. The side comment is is that i wrote for many years on. Pop does just working out. You know big articles little articles very indepth and the article that got me. The most attention was five reasons. Why coco was bald. It's like did you see my heart wrenching. Article about roy. Orbison no was bald is a thanks so continue with what we were talking about earlier. With which is adam levine. Do you grab a mike. All this feedback from people who were dumbfounded with my being dumbfounded there are like what do you mean that. There are no bands anymore. How can you possibly agree with him. And i don't agree with him necessarily that there are no bans anymore because there are what i agree with is that the gates keepers of the world of music. Don't really support bands. They support selo acts. They support acts that. You grew up a a mega producer. Who can make a beat and singer who can sing over the beach. You've got to track. It could be huge track if you get it on. The right spotify influences channel. It could shoot up overnight. This is kind of what happened with the little naza sex with old town road. There is asset management in solo. Acts especially now. You don't have to spend as much to support them. Return on investment is great. And you know if you're thinking about a band as a little company that is tied to a larger corporation. You've got these five employees or former employees in this company and they kind of whole each other back when two are fighting. So when i said that i kind of agreed with living. Just look at the top one hundred. Find me actual like we play guitars. We play drums. We're a band band and you will find very few where i took issue with him. Is that if anybody should be. Not just wondering where. The bands are but championing and making bands big. It should be him. He's one of the biggest people who acquired i ban right now. Although again that's speculative because most people don't know the names of anyone. Other than adam levine in maroon five one of the things you were talking about in your article was the fact that oftentimes especially with current bands that are bands but we tend to spotlight the front person right. You look at coldplay. Can you name every member of coal play. No but you probably know who. Chris martin is right. That's been going on for a while. I mean since. I've been a young lad buying music back in the late seventies and into the eighties when i was older. Think about this. You have blondie the pretenders. Destiny's child you to genesis but you peel away the front person. You've got deborah harry. Chrissie hinde beyond say bano and phil collins. All of whom have done solo work whether it's as a solo artist or as a solo project but we tend to remember the front person more and that's not something that is new but it's something that it's more accentuated. Now i would say than has in the past whereas when chrissie hinde was a member of the pretenders she never said i'm going to be a solo artist. Just do chrissie hinde with some side players which is kind of what it's become now but anyway the point was is that she felt like her she was in a band. Bano says youtube is the ban. We are a band. When phil collins recorded with genesis least vocally he says i'm part of a ban. This genesis were not. It's not phil collins and genesis. That sort of thing but this sort of peeling off the front person and saying they're the star there the johnny bravo there. The suit fits them. We should make them the star. That's been a thing that labels have been trying to do for a very long time and continue to do. Yeah that's absolutely true at the same time. Have to feel like the labels of the past had a and our departments that were more committed to fostering the talent therefore. I don't think that the people at charisma charisma virgin in the uk and atlantic in the united states necessarily wanted that either or the band or phil collins. They were kind of glad to have the band and phil collins. Because they were two two separates revenue streams wright and then tony banks was recording his own stuff. And then mike rutherford was with mike and the mechanics so there was kind of that sense that we could have multiple contracts with the members. And i don't think that would stand for that anymore. I would like to see how the how things shake up with. Hayley williams of paramore whether after two solo albums she is still the front woman for paramore. Or whether that's done. I think that's going to be a bellwether for whether all this is actually true or not. Now you have recorded non vocal albums also known as instrumental albums. You have one that. I really liked. Called people wearing masks and a few podcasts ago is spotlighted. The latest album by mog. Why the one that went to number one in february twenty twenty one when it was released in the uk. And that's mostly instrumentals. Wanna play a little bit from your two thousand eighteen album. I just referenced. People wearing masks..
How Hayley Williams To Do List Became Her Album Title
"Paramore's hayley williams just unleashed her second. Solo album called flowers for vases. This consoles which like her lyrics is quite poetic. Haley tells american songwriter last fall. She realized it was time to do a deep cleaning emotionally and quite literally so she tied up her place and as she did so she threw away some dead flowers which she loves leaving her bases empty as she was headed out to the grocery store at the bottom of her shopping list below oat milk and granola. She jotted down flowers for vases much later as she was sorting through a stack of paper. She saw those words shutting out the magazine. It had this way to it. It signified a time to put new life in these vessels and carry that forward instead of carrying around these little skeletons of flowers and thus an album title was born flowers for vases. this consoles is out. now

"But yeah that's my. It's like you know people talk about having spoons. I like video game style hearts instead. That's really cool. I feel like that's something he should sell enters as you shop because i would really enjoy that. I really like people talk about having spoons. If that looks like a f sorry hannigan you. Well no you you explain it. You probably someone explained. I was a reddit post or a twitter thread or something but it was basically kind of describe members to describe social anxiety or something like that or or basically like i like. You only have a certain amount of spoons and every time you somebody needs something from you give them spoon and so like that's just become common parlance for like. I have this spoons to do that today. Or one while never heard currency of like a social currency or like maybe like energy. I i heard about it in in college. I just had a friend who had talked about it in that way. Like spoons amount of spoons through the day at a couple. Like we're just talk that way. But then lately i feel like it's been sort of more prevalent up more prevalent means of explaining things in the disability community Were will talk about. How like if everyone has a certain number of spoons and you are disabled. It takes more spoons to do things that would take a like a regular able neuro. Typical person like one spoon. It may be takes them like three spoons. So that's that's like how Referred to most often these days. There is a wikipedia article. Posted on brad slack. Theory if you're traveling for a theory metaphor that is used to describe the amount of mental or physical energy. a person has available for daily activities tasks. The theory was developed by christine missouri. Nd no as way felt to have lupus. that's right. I was remembering something specific. She spoons to provide a visual representation of units of energy that person might have and how chronic illness forces her to plan out her days in actions in advance so as not to run out of energy or spoons before the end of the day. I like it always it very so it started. It started in the disability community. Like yesterday i spent all day like cleaning organizing things which other thing. I was gonna talk about do that at a later. Date and then. I went to remake the bed because we'd washed the sheets and i got about halfway done and then suddenly it was a half hour later. I had just been laying on the half made bed for like. Oh i guess. I guess ran out of spoons limit. Yeah there you go spoon theory. Swint there Cool well trudy homework and that's a podcast aaron. Brent and brent To which is brent i I put them both in a play together. Because i don't have time to like trying to find sort through your music and they don't have abandoned their just like to individual artists who collaborate so like that's annoying like make a playlist might okay The album just appear on both of those believe that's the case featured which is writer for them as collaboration Artist or band. This is like a at open to everybody's dream. So tuesday nights at eight o'clock and We have been doing like five minute limit. and famous places so it applies a little bit of pressure For us to find the like matt was getting frustrated because we wanted him to look at all the trash. Kansas suit websites and stuff like we wanted to be detectives and get within like ten feet and he was like i just wanted to figure out what city i'm in move on. So this kind of like splits the difference in a really fun way and also it helps like the chat the involved because since they're famous places there's like a much higher likelihood that we're going to end up someplace that people who are watching have actually been before million. Yes kontos slash discounts. -sconsin camp counselor slash wisconsin discount For vases slash discount so close. That is a Discount nose or discuss. I'm sorry Double check. I'm not reliable source on unnamed. But my obsession has been video game that kylie and been playing a. It's a puzzle game called the witness. I've heard of that. Yeah hours your house mug. It's made by the same person who made grade. I've also heard of that. Just a game that i have course which i haven't actually played kylie has but it's like a really popular the game and the witness is puzzle. Game where you just show up in a place and like the entire game is based around these puzzles. That are little grids where you have like a start point in endpoint and you trace some path to the From the starting point but they're like different mechanics that make constrain the correct path that you can take. And they're they're usually some kind of little symbol inside like the squares that are mixed that make up the grid and like there are some where like you have to cut off from another and some are like you have to make sure that the path that you may click creates a section where all the colors paired off things like that and a lot of the fun of it and the frustration of it is learning will. There's like no like the way you learn how to do stuff as you find these screens that are like tutorials screens. But you just have to figure it out like it'll have like an easy version of it in the league ramp up and it's like a bit you're on an island. That's really pretty that the the coloration of the game is really beautiful. And there's like no one else around we don't really know there's like a mystery. Were trying to solve but not we own exactly what it is because like ever you go you find what looked like statues of people in like everyday activities but it looks like they were just like suddenly turned to stone in the middle of something blow and also you like as you're walking around you can find the tape recorders that have recordings of usually. They're like they almost certainly Someone's reading quote from like a book often about like religion or other stuff like it's very interesting actually. Actually johnson is a voice actor in it. She chooses the tapes that read by her That's the person who played elliott last this her people who don't know that And yeah it's been a really fun game for us to play together like after dinner. Stuff or just chilling will like will switch off. Who's piloting and there's like one husband particular. That's really hard for me. To do is really good at because she can dried out in her notebook. Selecao pilot for those initial drawn. We switch back and forth. And it's just been very fun Yeah it's a good. It's a good game. It's a good time of a game. I figured out why heard of it. Which is i watched a video. Which i think you should watch it because it has spoilers in it. ben But it's called the witness a great game that you shouldn't play About about this game. It's like a like a video essay about it And i remember as well each bomber guy thing. It's not but it sounds like a great is a guy named joseph anderson. I i might have more than one video about it but i remember this one pretty well. It's it's it looks like gorgeous. It's like really beautiful any really like it. I'm not saying you shouldn't have have started playing it or anything. Do you know why he says yeah. I think i remember why But it's not. I mean i think the the enjoyment will still be it's not like like there's anything objectionable about the content or anything. Yeah essential more about the. The structure of the game does look really pretty sad. It's not switch. Yeah yes only on. Es four experts in p. c. I think what do you play it. S ps four. He's four he then get a peaceful is Probably eventually piss five. Sorry sorry we're gonna will probably a piss five of you know how to make sure that it's an authentic. Not just spray painted his four. That's what i heard was like no something that comes out on this five when someone shows up to your house in his leg. I got a cheap his five for you right here. Only only four hundred dollars cash. Don't trust them. It spray painted the didn't happen to me all right. good good. That would be really embarrassing. If that happened. I saw right through that nice job But yeah no actually get gives me like missed vibes in the way. You're kind of yes. It's it's missed. S where like. There's no talking and it's just like you just advance yourself through these puzzles and this little bits this type recordings you could find people to. I think they were even like video recordings. I think we actually have found one video also in like a we actually kylie kylie started playing a little bit for added together and she likes found a place that apparently a lot of people. Don't get too into later where it's a video the guy it's hard to explain. It's just like talking. I that the stuff they talk about. According to the video.
Paramore Will No Longer Play Misery Business Live in Concert
"Just made an announcement. Hayley Williams was in concert the other night and announced that Paramore will no longer play one of their biggest songs ever misery, business. Playing. Choice that we've made because the field that we should really it's time to move away, whether they're gonna stop playing misery business, which is weird because it's one of their biggest songs. And if you're a hardcore fan or you're just a fan of the group, you wanna see the biggest hits. Danielle say that stupid. It's still all right choice.
