"A while when you have when you're not when you just not moving the ball and scored any points you have to think about thirteen and shaking it. Up a quarterback is is is an answer. It's not always the right answer but you don't. You don't know until you find that. I find out you know. It's it's a hard decision as a coach. Right yeah is the hardest decision that a coach has to make right. It's the hardest decision. The coach has to make because the young man Earned the job. I mean he and be the else out and so you know you feel like as a coach. He deserves that chance to be to grow into that position. And you know In my case hayden fry benched me after my first start at nebraska after iron starting job and he thought maybe not ready for it or you know he's got to think about my football team inserted a another core back to the next game. We did not win. He just went with his gut. Against i played against arizona down there and i had you know i had he gave. He showed me compass. I had to show him a made right decision. And and so i did but you know as a head coach As as a player you understand it. If you communicated with in the right way to spencer he will understand it. You know say. Hey 'cause quarterbacks look at what they're doing to what the is doing and and you know they know you know as a quarterback gave if i'm not for not moving the ball with me. They're going to get the next guy in eventually. You have to understand that. The coach has to think about the team. I and if they're struggling against northwestern again you gotta get to that moment. Where hey. I got thinking about a hard decision for a head coach. It really is because the young man earned it. It's all about earning it and but you still have to earn it on the field as well and and playing situations in game situations. But hey that's the life of a quarterback is off if you don't if you're not doing it or the team's not doing you may feel like you're doing about the team's not doing it on the office aside. Then you know change maybe necessary and that backup can come in and provide a spark oh or can provide an answer to to the people who think that the quarterback of quarterbacks the answer they fly like look at and you can maybe go back to like with you go back to the first starter and there. Maybe the perspective's changed the perspective. Change for you. then oh definitely definitely Because we produce we we beat arizona a big game down there and and but in is much before i still struggle the rest of that year now. We had a winning year but was fighting discretionary game just to you know just understand until i got to the peach bowl. The peach bowl of this really opened up for me. I finally felt like i finally felt like.

You know one of those movies where santa comes to town or something or the music and man we all bought in at you know the beach latte is a tough crowd. You know for a especially for somebody. Texas talked like that but we we bought it and he did have the magic and he genuinely change things at at maybe work harder to get to the university of iowa to get out of there and get there But i could just the just the feeling of you know i. I'll career at one hundred six receptions for one thousand eight hundred forty five yards thirteen touchdowns and seventeen point six yards per catch. So here's a big play wide. Receiver play twelve in the nfl. You i should say was the third round pick in one thousand nine hundred eighty two the sunday charges but then played twelve years in the nfl. With the chargers the saints the bills and jets and his best year was in one thousand nine hundred eighty one catches for one thousand. Eighty seven yards and eight touchdowns. All with the new orleans. Saints is my pleasure to introduce quit early. Welcome to the show quinn. Thanks for having me. It's a pleasure to be here rate to be a now. Before we get into your. We're going to talk about some of your projects you're into right now. There's two things. I need to talk about twelve years in the nfl. I do believe has to be the longest tenure time for a wide receiver in history. Right is that right. I guess i. I think so. I can't re. I know in the in the hayden fry cook parents there. It is so that's the my because this over about forty five years. Yeah yeah. I'll others anybody longer that quinn. I'll tell you you know when. I look back on it. I'm very appreciative. To have been able to play ads long as i did and and to be standing upright at this point right i'll tell you i you know i just worked extremely hard at it to care myself and did all the stuff that i should be doing to stay in there. And obviously there's some luck involved you know man's brutal game and I'll tell you you know when you talk about my yards per catch when i was iowa. That's only because man. I was scared to death every time i caught football so i was running for my life. I really appreciate the time that. I got to spend both at iowa and as long as i did in the nfl. Yeah that's pretty seventeen. Six per catch in iowa's big play wide receiver right there. I now you stayed in great shape time. You'll love this shape so well that he turned into a hollywood stunt man that you had to tell the audience quinn. How long your stunt man who is your double double for and give us give us a couple of your stunts. Well listen so nobody ever said..

"Similar tight. You know philosophy. It'll be a different game plan They're not gonna have the very same game plan. They'll have wrinkles in but the philosophy should be the same as as against state Don't know much about colorado state like said time you know you never can take anybody lightly. I'm sure they're going to have that. Meme right said last podcasts. At northwestern week a practice where we had way back in the day when north lesson wasn't any good. You gotta you gotta keep grinding. Those guys make sure you make them aware that anybody can beat you on any given day if you don't have if you're not sharp so I believe they'll get that get to that point. You know if anything it might be close for a while. And i think i will pull away at the end but It's going to be one of those days where you gotta be short going in and and you know it. Y'all hayden fry tuneup. Before the big ten season this is a tune-up and and and in going into the big rugged big tennessee's i'm guessing. They're gonna hear a lot about well. Toledo almost one at notre dame and then this colorado state team. Yeah there's there's plenty of baltimore. Material can't sleep bonham you know. These guys are dangerous. And i think it might help there. I will play boston college in that pinstripe bowl few years ago and that was steep adagio. So i think they've got a good idea what they're going to run offensively and defensively so the conditions will be a lot better than it was at the pinstripe bowl where it was a a skating. Rank inky stadium. I was a little chilly. We're that open their press box. Chuck open all man. It was a little chilly. So i want to get your thoughts on the big ten Because i think coming into the year when you and i talk rethought ohio state and everybody else maybe not. Oh maybe not as right time. Look how about. Ohio state Changing coordinators this week as a coach. What does that one of those places time how state they're not going to stand pat. I mean you know they strive for national championships every year. And when you're giving up five hundred yards a game you gotta make here to make a change to do something. Different.

"Your name comes out of my mouth a lot. How'd you end up. An ira guy. Shock long played the detroit. Lions and everybody knows who you are actually some iowa but when i talked to other people and until you're the first one i talked about because you're the reason i became an iro and attacking tiger hawk was and now i have. You're my batch. Batches not savvy cabin. But you were. You're was the perfect storm. You reminded me of me. Because i wasn't recruited very heavily and i went to this four base called iowa. I didn't know anything about it. And you know it all worked out. That's what i love recruiting. Kevin tom this because at but it was just a perfect storm. There's something about cabinet that you know you meet you. Meet the young man you go back to. Don patterson and hades as this guy is special. Now he's got it in the right tutelage religion this the right direction. He's gonna do some great things which you did. And and it all recruiting part of them you coming to iowa and we're way worked that you know you had your big part of that too as far as working hard and making something out of yourself and a name for yourself and you did that and we guide you. You worked at it so he comes to the scholarship Tom and then he becomes the all time leader at the time. And i'm glad. I remembered email. 'cause i would probably learning how to email at that point anyway. And then you gonna the nfl but let me tell you a little story of course. Don patterson hayden fry love kevin game scholarship. But when kennel keefe. I was in transition course. Kirk kept for year year. But when kennel kief came you know you never know what new coaches are going to think about. You know the the guys on a team loudon come in and say well. We want our guys. Just get rid of these guys. These guys but i will never forget kennel keith. After he got to know you kennel kief was receivers. Coach house aquatic according to receivers coach. And i'll never forget can come to me after a while. It said kevin casper's good player said..

"It was interesting. Fans are going crazy. Obviously up twenty one three then it gets really quiet because you see sixty five sitting on on the ground on his knees With leonard bomb as a coach. Kinda love in your throat at that point in time when you see somebody that important Laying on the ground Do did just watch the game. I go all. We don't want the your star player upfront. You know your your remington Candidate candidate right there. And yeah i i you know they have those big heavy knee braces. I just felt like he was going to recover. You know they. They're pretty well protected. Those line need braces and things of that nature to protect them so just one of those moments. Yeah yeah you know you gotta love your throat. But then i felt like when he was walking off we all did to hayes. He'll be back and he's fine but don't those knee braces. Come in handy now. let me tell you they. They started way. Back when i was They actually started When i was played i you know we were kind of experimenting with them. And then the linemen hayden fry's today all lyman need these knee braces on from here on out and that was like nineteen eighty to eighty wrestle but david and we little thin plastic ones back then i mean they were really thin or made a plastic But now they have there been refined and and now the really lightweight you know you have that really lightweight the material metal material and and yeah Fiberglass or whatever you wanna call it and now it's It's really light and very effective. They started that because often. I'm kept getting rolled up on tearing their turn up their knees so you know it helps to prevent that from from happening help helps prevent those knees from destroyed because what plan lines hard. Any you know every offensive lineman's have multiple me surgeries. I mean it's kind of the nature of the position. All the as you mentioned tom all the leg. Legs are rolling up on your leg. Whip india and and you know you have all those combo blocks and and you're falling over piles and then you've got guys open on your knee. Not not on purpose. But just the nature of the beasts offense lineman and specially with You know with with zone blocking 'cause you're always an accommodation block was with teammate. You're always next to a teammate. So and he had. Those nose tackles defensive. Tackles that like the cut them and and wreak havoc and try to blow the play up with you know defensively. Now you get all those knees get rolled up on so one of the greatest venture with a knee braces and and Again hey implemented them way back in nineteen eighty two and eighty three. And it's been going strong ever since. Let's talk a little bit about I was run game The big play early. But i thought they were pretty effective Given it was interesting during the week because talking to kirk on tuesday said something interesting about plan up to eight guys. But i never heard him say i feel like we've got eight starters. It was more like. I'm kind of interested to find out what we got here. And and they don't have college shot back yet. although. I think he's getting close but i thought they were there okay. It wasn't great in the run. But i thought it was okay. It was okay. I i would agree with you there. I didn't think they were great. You know after the first the first big run they just kind of tailed.

"Find out lot about you quarterback spring football so they had to find out in a limited time and fall practice what he could do and that was really stressful for nali patriots but also for the coaching staff. Out what he can do because usually when you get into fall after this spring you. Have you have a good idea but you still need that fall to to do a lot of rinse and repeat rinse and repeat how much coordination is going on With the defensive side of the ball where you wanna see some different looks from defense during fall camp. And how much are you know like you would be talking to You know Bob stoops or somebody and tell them. Hey i wanna see some blitz packages out. 'cause i think we're going to see these things from these people during the year A great question. The two philosophies when i was with hayden fry. Hey didn't want the defense to get tricky. He wanted his quarterbacks to feel ill big time very confident so always ones against the threes in the first off as just the third team defense and vice versa first team defense versus the third team office he just hayden was always wanting to build confidence in his player so now sometimes that was by backfire. Little bit tom because we get into the game. All said hey. Those guys are playing like thirteen hours. You know those guys are lots astor but He always liked those preseason games. Those non conference games early to warm up to that. But that was just flossy. He wanted his quarterbacks to feel like they were ju- confident they you know and he built that confidence up. That way now fast forward. I'm coaching for bob. Stoops and oklahoma. It was never that way. it was one versus ones. And you could do anything you want. There was never a time where we could tell. He's in a defensive guy. We couldn't tell the defensive guy Defecit coach what to do. He just said. Charlie you just get out there and play ball and you script how you wanna script. And we're going to butch every which way now the beauty of that is by mike. Stoops's guys a.

"What happened the year before a two point loss number one versus number two. We still every week somebody calls up and says that turned on the Big 10 network and There it was, because that's like the you know, I was Big game, you know that they have. So they play it all the time. But the following year, you guys got a little bit of revenge number four versus number eight, But you know, Jamie mentioned it. The defense didn't step up only On Lee three points for the offense at the half, and you guys had to get the ball back for him A couple times it looked like it was gonna be a tie. He has also missing a fuel. Go there late. It's still it looked like it was destined to be a tie in that game. That would have been absolutely devastating in Iowa was always such a strange team to play their alignments that tight end stand up. So when I'm at the end of the line, I'm looking at kneecaps. It's a constant mind game. You go into Iowa and they have a pink locker room. You never know what you're going to get when you were playing Iowa back then with Hayden Fry and the psychological Games he played And, hey, he was very effective at that. And it was challenging to get Mo mentum from a defense of perspective when things were so different than normal, and that's what made, you know, especially that win. Very satisfying because it was almost sweet revenge. Yeah, Mark you listening to Mark Messier, former defensive standout defensive tackle. Uh, mark that game was it was oddly weird. And the reason why I say it's weird because offensively way played poor. And you guys came out and you guys demonstrated defensively, but we gave, you know breaks. We put all the pressure on you and you guys delivered in Dennis. We just played a cut from coach Bowler. At halftime, saying that we got to get some. We gotta get some help from our offense, but we'll hold on. We'll look. We'll make it. We'll make it happen. We'll give you the opportunities. But, boy, we got tired of hearing some sudden change in stuff that makes a snarl little bit. We're trying to suck some water down. We're stepping on our tongues were so tired and next thing you know, we're back out there. Yeah, You know, I went back. You know these games around YouTube. So it Z Fantastic. Only fire him up. Next thing you know you're watching these games, but the defense there were two guys right down there. You don't buy you that made huge plays in the fourth quarter one. I was going for it on fourth and one and the nose guard Billy Harris, you know, makes the big play and on and then Andy Moeller, who was knocked out of the game. He comes back that would have happened. You know, Nowadays they would have taken his helmet away. But he comes back. And here we come, recovers the fumble late. Do you remember any of those those plays there? Those were some gigantic place for Michigan that ended up You know, enabling ah, the offense to get down there instead of the game winner. Yeah. You know, we had a great kicker with Mike. The Latin, You know, he We counted on him time and time again, and we knew if we could put him in position in prevent, uh, Iowa from getting down and giving them the opportunity that we would we would capitalize on it. We had We had all the confidence in the world in our defense. And our offense back then, and, you know, I just think that it was the unique atmosphere of the way Iowa played on and The questions that we always had the defensive guy what's going to come at us and how? Because it's so unorthodox and it was me I give had to do was to coach Mueller for putting Game plans together and coach Carr for putting game plans together and defensively toe curb some of that because it was really hard to prepare for stuff like that. Yeah, You're listening to mark measure former defensive standout mark when it came down to it to make plays when you knew it was probably a minute and 30 seconds left for Iowa. What was going to be the key to get the ball back cause you? I watched his Dennis pointed out. I was watching the YouTube. Bo didn't have his headphones on. He was clapping, waiting for the defense to do something. So you put those headphones back off and you know and start talking to Jerry inland again. Yeah. No, I mean, I was there spacing because we were a small front. We were under sized up front. And are you know what made us such a fun defense toe watches. We were constantly moving left and right and shooting gaps, keeping keeping those offensive lineman off off their game. Iowa comes in and they're literally Six inches apart. There was no gaps in there. So it was just a mass of human beings. That would be up in that defensive front and you had to constantly plug things up just by your with your body, and you have our linebackers and outside guys. Trying to contain it because there was just no where to go in the middle, and that was very unusual. We we pride ourselves on being very, very much of penetration. Defense and angling containing and that it all goes away when you were playing Iowa, so it relied so heavily on the linebackers and outside backers because the two tackles and Billy Harris in the middle It was. It was a constant Double team and the way it feels And when you have a double team your taught you just hit the ground cause you're going backwards if you if you stay up, so you just make a pile right there because the balls Typically coming at you when you're double teamed, and you try to plug it up, and that's so You see three Michigan lineman literally on the ground, plugging things up in the balls bouncing out. And that's what we did real well that game. What I remember about the end, you know, everybody rushed the field. You guys make the game winner. No time on the clock and everything you had right to the locker room or you it involved in, you know, jumping on the field goal kicker or what happened there? You know, I was never one to stay out there because I was usually so tired and typically didn't smell too good by the end of the day playing with those all kinds of guys all day, So I was always had not that tunnel and getting out of my stuff as fast as I could. I think the only time was the last game at home that I stayed out there to celebrate with fans and didn't want to go up into the tunnel and get into that locker room. But now I was. I was not wanting to stay out and celebrate. I like to get it done with business jobs over let's get cleaned up and move on the next week. Mark. Appreciate you coming on being a part of the end zone. Uh, are far back freaky football Friday. Thank you for taking the time. My pleasures Just getting harder and harder. Remember those those individual plays?.

"And our methods and ball security and interceptions. Things in that game. You have four turnovers. You just can't win football games with four turning. I don't care how good you are, in fact that we were in it at the end, and it took It took a great defensive play, and the defense kept us in the game route on that was estimate to the defense of those days in 85 86 on Do you know were able T get it across the crossbars and again, like home like to let story was also a little bit of dramas. Well, because moves Mr Earlier one And if you're just on characteristic now, having said that you're going against, I wouldn't hate Fried and Hayden Fry obviously turned around that Iowa program, and Bo had his fits with hating those first five or six years in the eighties. Any kind of which they have our number, But he certainly had great game plans. I think I don't remember. And maybe you know, lately but back in the eighties, I think, Jamie before you got there, then we lost to them. What 26 to nothing. 83 years, two somewhere around there and you know that was unheard off. That we would score a point. So Hayden certainly had his ideas around how to stop Michigan and how he did. It was he played Michigan football against Michigan. You know, he was tough it great defense is, you know, they try to clip their that funky like, stand up tight end thing, which was kind of screwy, which I don't think was The big deal, but you know, they started throwing the ball with Chuck long opening things up a little bit in Texas, but I love duck, you know, go back in the 85 95 game. I mean, you know, we had that game one as well with with, you know, at the end, and then we way must up to turn over that we could have had you? No, but unless we scored the only touchdown that game On by No, Jamie I don't know if you felt this, but I've always said Kinnick Stadium is the loudest stadium in the Big 10. It's one of the lowest capacity stadiums, but it is the loudest because the way the stands are just right on top of the field, and I think that was you know those that game was just deafening. On Ben, Of course in Ann Arbor. You know that was that that Saturday afternoon, we making the stakes of the game is in peril. Um, you know, I didn't feel we had a many lost confidence. I just think that because we way would drive him healthy, long drives and wouldn't get anything for it. Again. You look back. It's the statute. You know, Jamie, you could get a hard yards in that game. I think so. That's unusual. You know, you always read the hard yards and we have. Ah, you know, good Russian game and things like that. Then you kind of broke loose a little bit. The second half and got some things, things going, but 86 plays and I remember that because that was one of those years writing. I caught maybe one pass. To do a whole lot, But I was, you know that game. That's what I remember. John, you had a big play in which they call the personal file on Smiley. Oh, yes. Well, you know, I think we talked about this that with my objective every game Well, when that way used to kid around being wide blocker, I kid about that. But that was the only reason why I played and or got the chance to play was I blocked and I was running back, right? I knew how to block I'm gonna take on, um, linebackers. I think I think in that game as I kind of look back on YouTube. I was even in the slot position. Sticking out the backside end. You don't see if Lakers Theo today so, but I would always try to block the defensive back because they don't like, get hit, and you know she would come in and face a little bit. That's around. And you know my job was to protect that late hit on Jamie, or, you know not to have a guy come in late or Jamie to make a cut off me. And at the end of day, I would block to the whistle. Never anything after, and some of those guys didn't like it, But, yeah, I did see that. That was the personal file. That's that's a 15 yard. So I I took pride in getting that you don't turn around and go back the hut and also you get shoved in the back. That happened more than once, and it was always kind of an objective of me. You know, I didn't get a stick Helmet sticker for it, but make sure I was doing my child. We need to go back and get you a helmet sticker because that's a big play. That was a huge way. Yeah. You know, she, uh, receivers back then. You know the helmet sticker you've got as a receiver was you have a had over 100 yard receiving or a touchdown? That was it. And so, you know, we ran the ball. You had 17 stickers Because you get a block you get running. This could touch out. We never got a chance against diggers. And I'm like, I think we should. That should be a new thing. If you can get if you could draw it personal file from a group blocking, uh, expertise and get a sticker for that. Well, you know what, John? You should've got a couple for the 77 yard touchdown reception against Ohio State. But, you know, I guess the way you're describing it, you only got one. Do you remember any of your other TVs or stickers? That would be memorable over your career? Your favorite one. It was, uh, I kind of remember the blocks a lot, because that's and that's again. You know, Jamie and you know, being an offense a player, you know, we crossed the goal line, you know, and that's kind of our job. What we do and certainly get some of the glory around it. But you know some of the the intricacies of the game and how it's played. You know, we all watched film together. We all know what people are doing back side. We all know who's making that block. I think one of the greatest rewards that we had weekly. We got trophies for offensive player, the other game defensive player of the game they were called champions. But do you put the war that I like that I got on occasion was the offensive hustler. Of the game. Remember that, Jamie? Well, that's that's the guy with the coach to pick out that this guy just did it extra extra stuff or he got knocked down and got back up or he made these extra blocks or he he did something that the TV doesn't highlight of. The fans don't recognize And again. I think that was the part. Also the epitome of Michigan football and we talk about the team. The team, the team that that was what I did We all strive for again. Hey, if you're lucky across the goal line and you get your number gets called and 3rd and 3rd and one on the goal or they throw a big pass and they call your number. That's your job. You got to get that done. You don't.

"Feature of yousef flipboard in classroom. Think my favorite feature is going back to a place where they can look back on. Their stories can really evaluate their reading habits. And i love the button. I want to get through. I think this will probably answer your question. A little bit more is adding the chrome with a button beginning renewables school and they can add it and then they can go to any on the internet and that they find a resource they find a research finance. They hidden that little button. They can add it right to magazine collected there. I know the. Ap research teachers love that feature as students are electing resources promote the internet. I worked at some other stuff. And i think what board in the put the button is the best place to collect a bunch of stuff and do a magazine and be able to create a link and use it in your writing and source material. And i think average teaching to think about their sources one of the best way to teach that is like. What are you and your writing. So as an educator. What skill do you want to see. Most with gusty. Leave your class. I think i always pull back on. A the university of hawkeye go hog journalism. Professor told me a long time ago. I'm one lesson plan and teachers and report it. And i'm like so great but it's simple buys everything. I love that. I have a giant painting of it on my wall in my classroom but teachers reported. I've always said that. I want to teach students how to be great trading or border and when they leave the they feel like they are writers. They are publisher. They are ready to the highschool journalists journalists. And i want them to. Never make that designation that way and the other big thing. I picked up this year that i've taken on. Our job is featuring students it's not to say. Oh you're this level your permission. You're not professional whatever. I really want them to leave the classroom thinking and saying that. Hey i am a writer. I am an academic i can. I am valuable my community. I never won. I have left classroom where i feel like have made me feel like hey. You're not the greatest student. You're not really able to contribute in a way to the academic environment. And i think the other thing about that. I think a lot of students lead and badly. I'll admit i think of love my class thinking that i'm not an academic. I'm not a writer. I'm not able to contribute. In the academic setting and i teach them real ability language arts classes and especially for those struggling students. That is really important that we can teach them. You can be a writer you can be a really good writer you can add or community and the you can contribute in a way that important and no matter what you're gonna do and one thing that my journalism cockatoos. They don't algo hardly going to be journalists. They're going to be good doctors or teachers or other things like that. In one of my favorite matt there was a nurse who now rendering blog on the side so that they can use journalism writing skills. No matter what is. I think is really cool on what you do. I had a chance to go through your flip boards. And i saw that you had dr martin luther king up and you asking students just different questions. This is a very simple question about ends. Main objects thoroughly impressed. I was years ago when we met. Just thank you for doing what you doing with your students. And i will say that i won't tell one more story about diversity and martin luther king today we had a critique about five years ago and they were like hey are there only to be. Are there only white. So we're like oh no you mainly have pictures. The white people it seems like your staff is in the birth may be that was hard and and a us to realize that and i think it's really important we've got holy went out and a major stabbed. The made sure that we're telling stories about our community. Represent all students and i will say that then one of the most empowering gray changes the microgram and i know a lot of schools right now or having a hard questions about hey. There may be a little implicit bias. In what i'm doing. There's some kind of a racial issue going on. I'll admit to micrograms five or six years ago. Had that and me going through that training and being that has been an amazing positive change and and what we're doing. So i just want to like martin luther king de time for us to take a look and make them positive changes and i wanted to share that little story. How think in the by training and all this other stuff going on and using a diversity like martin luther king junior magazine or some other stuff like that and get more. Diverse kirkland is another small thing that can make a huge different that there was a magazine and it was funny. Because i saw the magazine from five years ago there was an african american lady on the front cover. I think they were. I was a little hawk. That's that magazine as you guys curing. And so i was like okay sewage. Which i'll do it over in iowa. The no matter where you are. It's definitely important to bring all the have those conversations and i love that i hope more schools. I know our school. It's been great about encouraging us from the tough conversations moving forward and we do that and hopefully a journalism and teaching all about. Hopefully you tell the stories and read the stories and have a community conversation so we keep moving towards the more perfect union and our constitution. And we're all working. Towards whenever the thing is john is that we're all americans and over here in america and even more than that we're all human beings and so we all have thoughts and feelings and we care about things and we know. Why can't we get along if we're here together. That's really what i have to say to anybody. You can disagree. We can disagree all day long. I personally don't think i will have football players personally. Fired up all over. You know how many pop quiz williams players are playing from iowa. Going into next week i will say that. Hayden fry from texas brought real football. The i didn't take it. Did take them from sexes to bring us a true football up to our data and even iowa state with won't talk cyclists joking about iowa. I really i'd like to state. I'd have to drive through there from time to time. So i really just appreciate the fact that we can joke about it and not be any hard feelings and i just wish that the people who lived in america would go back to that. I want to say one thing on that. When i teach buyer is the that way to do you have lsu by or you have a football by and it's really funny and it seemed like we all can joke about football biases in a much easier conversation than for some reason it is popular the the political divide super emotional and divided right now. So it's nice that. I hope that we can get back to more joking about our differences and finding those middle ground. 'cause i do think that of that competitive sport hopefully and our debate and hopefully it would have can bribe and make it better. People should manage it and we only gone for. We're only going for the person who is going to help us all become better. That's the way i see when i vote. My man didn't win. Okay artichoke or my man want. Hopefully the person who voted was the person who's gonna look out for everybody and not divide people and that's not a good thing but let me not get political. These days i dated for thirty two episodes. I will tell you on that. I think a lot of people. Don't teach media literacy and news and flipboard because they're afraid of the politics and i want to say that i hope you check out some of my resources there like a allowing talk about what's happening in our country the bike history-making things have happened in his past year. Manny's these past twenty and twenty one has been one for the ages listed say that. Hey john.
